The only way to attack this cancer on the nation is to remove its source: power. The power the central government has arrogated to itself is far in excess of what is needed to simply govern free citizens and states - they are in the process of establishing rule over subjects instead.
How do you eliminate the power? Shrink the government. Reduce its reach, reduce its size, reduce its scope. Return to limited constitutional government in the from of a republic of laws, where individuals are the holder of rights, not groups nor institutions.
There are 2 ways of doing this: elect people willing to work themselves out of a job by passing laws to limit what they the government can do (unlikely), or by citizens rising up.
The latters can go one of 2 ways - we rise up peacefully like in a constitutional convention and pass something like The Liberty Amendments, or else states secede (Hello Texas!), or we are left with the last, worst option: armed insurrection and a second American revolution.
I hate the f**king liberals for their lack of foresight in pushing the progressive agenda that leads to either subservience or bloodshed. Because in both cases the liberals will be either servants, or the dead. The shame is that it will take a lot of good people away to do fix things. Liberals never seem to pay the bills for the damage they do.

Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
