Go Baltimore! Beat NYC in homicides!
Baltimore has surpassed New York City for homicides this year.

A New York Police spokeswoman said the city had seen 208 homicides as of Wednesday. Baltimore recorded its 213th homicide Wednesday night.

It's a seemingly impossible milestone -- New York has more than 8.4 million people, Baltimore just 620,000.

New York peaked with 2,245 homicides in 1990, but that number has been tumbling and hit a historic low in 2014, with 328.

Baltimore saw a peak of 353 killings in1993, and recorded 211 homicides in 2014.

What could have possibly led to this? Hmmm. Ima stumped. Fred -Under "organizations" terror tab, there's no Democrat Politicians. Can you fix that?

Hillary Clinton Will Interrupt Vacation to Campaign in Midwest
[NYTIMES] Hillary Rodham Clinton
... sometimes described as For a good time at 3 a.m. call Hillary and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another William H. Seward ...
had planned to spend the last two weeks of August on vacation, unwinding and fund-raising on the exclusive shores of Long Island. But, as it turns out, this is no time for a vacation.

Amid concerns about Mrs. Clinton’s softening poll numbers and her exclusive use of a personal email server as secretary of state, she will interrupt her Hamptons stay next week to travel to the Midwest and try to shift attention back to her campaign message by unveiling new policy positions.

She will then return to the Hamptons, where she and former President Bill Clinton are renting a beachside estate in Amagansett that costs $100,000 for a two-week stay, and will attend several $2,700-per-person fund-raisers hosted there by her wealthy friends.

#1  On Thursday, she will attend a grass-roots organizing party in Cleveland, her first campaign stop in the critical battleground of Ohio, and on Friday, she will address the Democratic National Committee’s summer meeting in Minneapolis.

Cleveland, Minneapolis? Is this an attempt to stop the bleeding ?

De Blasio's problem with panhandlers and topless women
[GOPUSA] Mayor Bill de Blasio has launched a multiagency task force to address what he calls the "growing problem" of panhandling topless women and costumed characters in Times Square and said that one option under consideration is removing the famed intersection's pedestrian plazas.

The plazas are widely popular with tourists, theatergoers and office workers who throng Times Square daily and are a signature accomplishment of de Blasio's predecessor, Michael Nanny Bloomberg. They have been widely hailed by urban planners as an innovation in city design.

But the popular spots have also become favored stomping grounds for aggressive panhandlers dressed as characters like Elmo and Batman and, more recently, for topless women wearing body paint and thongs and seeking money to pose for photographs. The painted ladies' presence has become a tabloid sensation during the sleepy end of summer, with editorial pages warning that they foreshadow a return to Times Square's seedy past and demanding their removal.

Elected officials have followed along.

"I don't think it's appropriate in one of the busiest squares in New York City for women to display themselves that way," de Blasio said Thursday.

Among the women who accept tips for their photos, Saira Nicole doesn't believe the practice should be an issue.

"People are having fun. There's no problem," she said.

But the mayor has acknowledged that because both public toplessness and panhandling are legal in New York, the city's immediate recourse is currently limited. He has suggested that because the women are engaging in a business transaction, they should be subject to city regulation, so he commissioned a task force -- led by Police Commissioner William Bratton and City Planning Commissioner Carl Weisbrod -- to explore other options.

One possibility being considered is a separate zone just for the women. Another is to require them to obtain a license. And then Bratton shocked the civic-minded by suggesting that the city do away with the pedestrian plazas.

#1  Is Washington D.C. a "sanctuary city?" de Blasio could ship them (homeless and topless women) out to one of these liberal sanctuary city paradises.

Key Hillary Aide Huma Abedin Could be in a World of Trouble
Longtime Hillary aide and confidante Huma Abedin may be behind the illegal movement of classified documents to Clinton's private email server, Doug Ross @ Journal can now reveal (I'm experimenting with the Daily Mail's style guide).

[One] message [that should have been classified], dated April 10, 2011, was forwarded to "H," for Hillary Clinton, then the secretary of state. It came from one of her closest aides, Huma Abedin, who is now vice chairwoman of her presidential campaign ... The matter could form the basis for a criminal probe of whether laws for handling classified material were broken.

There are other examples that suggest Clinton aides drew upon a variety of classified information to produce updates of events in Libya and elsewhere and sent them via email, according to the officials familiar with the investigation who asked not to be identified.

Anybody who knowingly emailed classified material to Clinton or her top aides when she was secretary of state could face criminal prosecution, according to current and former U.S. national security officials. Those who inadvertently send or receive classified data could be prosecuted for gross negligence.

There are several scenarios in which known classified material could have been improperly transferred, according to [former NSA and CIA director Michael] Hayden and one of the U.S. officials who asked for anonymity ... The most egregious way would be to knowingly strip classification markings from documents or other data, a move that would clearly be a criminal act.

Steven Ahle relays news of a whole school of lawyers hired by the Humster:

Huma Abedin has hired an entire team of lawyers to handle her ever growing number of scandals. She is heavily involved in Hillary's private email scandal. She denied that she had an email account on Hillary's server. On Monday, Hillary told a federal judge that Abedin did indeed have an email account. If she doesn't produce emails from that account, she could be in huge trouble. She also claimed pay for when she was on vacation in Italy and at home after giving birth to her first child. She could also be a suspect in the changing of the confidential and top secret codes on Hillary's emails.

In related news, a second Clinton email server is likely to exist. If a second server or any backup media for the Clinton server are discovered, the full scope of Clinton's criminal activities may become clear. I refer not only to the co-mingling of classified data on insecure and unapproved devices, but also to the pay-for-play activities of the State Department as it relates to the Clinton Global Graft Initiative.

Huma's best bet at this point may be to start working a plea bargain.

#5  Was this classified information supposed to stay on IT infrastructure behind an air gap?

If so someone would have had to make a deliberate, conscious and non-trivial effort to transfer this to the common internet email system.
Part of the effort would have been hiding her/his activities.

I.e. this would have been a direct planned attack on security infrastructure. Something that goes way beyond negligence.

Who did this and how was it done?
Why was it done?

Here it comes: First on CNN: Biden meets with Warren in Washington
Vice President Joe Biden met privately with Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Saturday in his residence at the Naval Observatory, CNN has learned, another sign he is seriously deciding whether to jump into the Democratic presidential race.

The meeting between Biden and Warren, confirmed by two people familiar with the session, is the biggest indication yet that Biden is feeling out influential Democrats before announcing his intentions.

Beloved by liberal Democrats, Warren decided to sit out a campaign of her own, but she has yet to formally endorse a candidate. In an interview on Friday, she told WBZ in Boston: "I don't think anyone has been anointed."

The vice president arrived in Washington shortly before lunchtime, even though his official schedule said he was planning to spend the weekend at his home in Delaware.

Kendra Barkoff, a Biden spokeswoman, declined to comment on the meeting. But an aide to Biden confirmed a meeting, telling CNN: "The vice president traveled last minute to Washington, D.C. for a private meeting and will be returning to Delaware."

Biden is increasingly weighing whether to challenge Hillary Clinton and other Democratic candidates for the party's presidential nomination. A small team of advisers has spent weeks quietly putting together a campaign strategy and fundraising plan in case Biden decides to run. He had at least one meeting with them this week in Wilmington, one person familiar with the session told CNN.

He has told his associates he intends to make his decision in the next month, an announcement that could upend the fight for the Democratic presidential nomination.

With the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary six months away, Biden is the leading figure Democrats believe they could turn to if they needed to find an alternative to Clinton, whose favorability ratings have taken a deep hit as her email use while secretary of state is drawing deeper controversy.

Biden, 72, has a large and loyal collection of friends and advisers from more than four decades in Washington. Yet even inside his sprawling constellation, affectionately known as "Biden World,"
G*d save us.
deep divisions exist over the wisdom of him making another bid for the presidency.

#4  What we may be seeing here is a Huma Abedin, Mooslim Broederbond and Valjar, Persian cat fight. The next few days and weeks should be quite interesting.

If a second server is found, or if foreign disclosure of classified data is revealed [read that negligence or 'Abdein as witting sleeper agent'], my bet is the Beest is finished, kaput !

#5  This would be quite interesting if it wasn't happening to all of us.

In a sane country with the rule of law all of these people would have joined the orange jumpsuit brigade years ago.

In our elitist/oligarchic/NWO proto-fascist system I doubt anything will happen to them.

We'll be stuck with crippling inflation, unemployment and invasion by undesirables.

Marine Gets Helped by TRUMP After Obama Ignored Him [Video]
via Greta Wire:

Trump: I was proud to help Sgt. Tahmooressi and this showed what we can do when we work together.

Greta: "In all seriousness, Donald did help out Sgt. Tahmooressi. He sent him some money to help him jump start his life. Sgt. Tahmooressi rotted in a Mexican prison for 214 days. President Obama wouldn't even pick up the phone to help."

Tahmooressi was released in November when a Mexican judge was finally convinced to do so on humanitarian grounds. His lengthy prison stay became a farce and a failure under the Obama administration, culminating in a September congressional hearing that was "highly critical of Obama Administration efforts to secure his release and Mexico's refusal to let him go."

It's good to see that at least Mr. Trump cared enough to lend a helping hand.
