[RedState] On Monday afternoon a Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputy shot and killed a black suspect.
A small crowd has gathered to protest, but matters do not appear to be escalating out of control.
It appears that the officer who fired the fatal shots is a minority as well. This photo appears to be a Hispanic officer with his gun drawn
Local news reports are stating that the officers saw the man riding a bicycle in an illegal manner in South Los Angeles and attempted to get him to pull over. The man got off the bicycle, punched one officer in the face, and began to run carrying a bundle of clothing. When he dropped the clothing a semi-automatic handgun fell out. It was at that point that the shooting took place. The handgun is reported to have been recovered. No details are reported about what triggered the shooting after the weapon was observed.

Limbaugh says internal polling shows voters blame the riots on Democrats so the riots will stop since Democrats and their MSM allies control the riots. Let's see if this shooting gets the kind of MSM attention that George Floyd got. It was pretty clear the way they all kept on and on about Floyd that they wanted riots. Now let's see if they still do.

I don't think Antifa cares much for the Democrats. So the Democrat Mayors may stop their judges from catch-and-release or they might call in the National Guard but requests to cut it out won't be effective.

Yes, just as we on the right see "the uniparty" working to thwart our ideals, the far left sees everyone else as being to their right. That includes most of the dem party.

^We only hear the stories where the perp is shot. How many cases where cops, due to current circumstances, hesitate & get shot?

Grom, thousands of those videos out there. The police use them for training. So does the military. Also in carry permit classes. Shoot/No Shoot scenarios are wild and dynamic. Almost everyone errs on the side of Shoot when it’s their ass on the line. At least the first few dozen times. Specifically there was a video circulating the tubes of a traffic stop where the guy was being arrested, started fighting, got away and ran around the car. Reached in the driver window and pulled a gun. Shot both cops. Took the guy three seconds from breaking contact to shooting. They lived. Not so much for the two cops in Arkansas that pulled over a sovereign citizen and his kid. Have the dad out of the car, kid pops out and blasts them both with Kalasnikov. Zero to dead in three seconds.
[KhaamaPress] Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... snuffies killed at least three children after keeping them for days in central province of Daykundi, local authorities confirmed Monday.
Naqibullah Malistani, head of local police, said three children aging between 10, 13 and 15 were killed by Taliban in Kajran district of the province, adding the Taliban had kidnapped them from Selmanji village of Kajran district last week.
After days of quest, local residents found their bodies on a mountain in the area, according to the security officials.
Officials did not provide further details, but said an investigation is underway in this regard.
Kajran is one of the insecure districts of the province, where residents witnessed unprecedented battles between the Taliban and Afghan forces, where dozen of country’s soldiers killed.
[KhaamaPress] A Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... self-proclaimed district governor to Mymi district of Badakhshan province in northeast Afghanistan killed in a battle with Afghan cops, local authorities confirmed.
Sanaullah Rohani, front man to the local police, told Khaama Press the incident occurred in Wodab area of Mymi district on Monday morning, adding Taliban self-proclaimed district governor Ziaulhaq killed during the festivities.
At least two further Taliban killed in the battle, he added.
According to Rohani, initially the Taliban Death Eaters launched shootouts, who were then driven away after Afghan cops responded.
[KhaamaPress] At least 11 Taliban ...Arabic for students... murderous Moslems killed during an Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... carried by Afghan cops in northern province of Faryab, the 209th Shaheen Corps said in a statement Monday.
The airstrike targeted a Taliban camp, destroying their facilities in Qarma Qul district of the province, according to the statement.
The Taliban did not immediately comment on the claim.
Northern provinces are most insecure areas, where Taliban has influence in several districts, launching countless battle with Afghan cops in recent years.
[ToloNews] The Taliban ...Arabic for students... is investigating reports of rocket attacks on two military bases in Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... , according to front man Zabihullah, who said that fighters of the group have been ordered not to attack Americans.

[ToloNews] Gatherings held for the religious holiday of Ashura took place in various parts of the country including Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif and Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... on Sunday under tight security, and so far no security incidents related to the holy day were reported.
President Ghani and his deputies, as well as a number of high-ranking officials, attended a ceremony of Ashura mourners at a mosque in the west of Kabul.
Thousands of security force members were deployed in Kabul and other cities to ensure the safety of the Ashura ceremonies in over 10,000 mosques in the country, 400 of them in Kabul alone.
At least 3,000 security force members were deployed in Herat to protect Ashura ceremonies, according to local officials.
Those who attended the ceremony in Herat said they hope a ceasefire is announced so that people observe such events in peace.
Herat officials said some groups sought to disrupt the Ashura ceremony in the province, but were prevented.
"No stranger can think about disturbing or removing you," Herat governor Sayed Wahid Qatali said at a gathering of Ashura mourners. "Stand with power and we will succeed. All here are Heratis and Afghans together."
"No incidents occurred as we took good security measures--except we had some thefts," Herat Police Chief Obaidullah Nawrozi said.
[LIBYAREVIEW] The General Command of the Libyan National Army (LNA), issued a statement regarding the current events taking place in western Libya. It expressed its deep concern regarding the security, chaos, and violations sweeping the region.
It added that it was closely following developments in Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... as it supports steps to combat terrorism, impose law and order, and eliminate the chaos that threatens the security, and safety of the country.
"The Libyan National Army is not currently interfering in destabilisation operations in the west of the country. This does not mean we will allow our people to face the same fate. Rather, it means that we allow the tribal representatives to implement order in these areas," the statement said.
"The LNA hopes that these steps will lead to the launch of a successful political process, to end the ongoing crisis," it added.

In August 2019, the Houthis attacked Shaybah oilfield near the border with the UAE. They used drones in the attack, which took place about 1,200 kilometers from where they were allegedly launched. It is not clear how the Houthis achieved this range, since Iranian drones sually have a range of 1,000 km.
This represented an increased Houthi threat to the Emirates, Voice of America reported at the time. In 2018, the Houthis claimed that drones had penetrated UAE airspace. The Emirates denied it.
Since those threats, the Saudis and Emiratis have increased their abilities with the coalition in Riyadh to confront these types of drones and threats.

[AnNahar] Two fishing boats carrying 26 Ottoman Turkish asylum-seekers have reached the Greek island of Chios, Greece's coasties said Sunday.
The group, which included children, was rescued by the Greek coasties as it approached the shore on Saturday.
According to the local news site politischios.gr, the Ottoman Turkish citizens were seeking political asylum from Greece, claiming they were being persecuted by the regime of Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. Two passengers had drilled holes in the boat as it approached the island to prompt a rescue operation. The pair were later arrested.
The group was tested for coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. Greek-Ottoman Turkish relations are at a boiling point after the deployment of the Ottoman Turkish research vessel Oruc Reis into Greek waters accompanied by Ottoman Turkish warships on August 10.
The confrontation has reignited a longstanding rivalry over disputed maritime rights and gas resources between Greece and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... and they have begun staging competing naval drills.
Greece and Turkey were already divided on issues including migration, Byzantine heritage in Istanbul and tensions over the island of Cyprus.
[Natural News via Silver Doctors] BREAKING — We’ve just learned that Antifa terrorist groups in Austin, Texas and Portland, Oregon have received a large cache of weapons that are being handed to them in preparation for a coordinated, multi-city uprising. Dubbed the "TET Offensive" by Dave Hodges (The Commonsense Show), this planned multi-city attack looks likely to take place before the coming election, as anti-American forces now realize Joe Biden cannot win. So their new goal is to unleash so much chaos across America that elections must be suspended, allowing the Marxist media to roll out its "Trump is a dictator" narrative.
This new delivery of weapons to Antifa forces on or around August 9th has been confirmed by reliable sources. It is consistent with previous announcements by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) describing government seizures of full-auto weapons parts and illegal suppressors that were intercepted during shipment from communist China to several U.S. cities, including Detroit MI, Louisville KY, and Melbourne FL.
Here’s a photo of one of the recent CBP seizures of full-auto weapons parts that turn AR-15s into military-grade battle rifles:

I pray God grants Americans courage to save their republic. Guns and ammo can be bought, they can be put on shiny racks and oiled and shot at ranges, NRA meets attended and caps waved with beer in hand. But only Gawd gives the wisdom and grit to use them against tyranny and conquest. You need it now more than you ever have. God bless America.

Something shall have to be done about China and fast. I'm hoping my own civ government will give in to our demands to let us fight it out.
What is brewing on the India-China border, if carried to its rational outcome could lead to war. A long war to engage China, especially land and sea, with the USAF providing 'orbital' and air support could very well be what Asia needs.
Debose worked with two Chinese men, Zhifu Lin and Lilan Li, to run a “pipeline of illegal firearms from the United States to China,” U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch said in a statement.

Just a side note - Tet resulted in the destruction of the indigenous Viet Cong in the South. The NVA carried the war from then on in. Tet was only a political success in turning the media against the republic.
Note that the media is already against the republic so there is no 'gain' there. For commies they're awfully ignorant of Mao's approach. 1 - he who controls the countryside controls the cities. 2 - the end state is that the guerrilla forces must join with regular formations at the end to eliminate the opposition forces.

Perhaps it would be helpful, or at least entertaining, if Trump used the exact same words to condemn the violence as Joe.
Sorry, but I have to call BS on at least part of this.
This following section makes the whole report seem a bit looney.
Natural News previously reported that the corrupt government of California was storing weapons for Antifa terrorists in the East End Complex Capitol building in Sacramento, at Block 174. This is all part of a criminal scheme by treasonous Gov. Newsom to arm terrorists as part of an uprising against the United States of America, during which California plans to secede from the union and join communist China, allowing China to install nuclear weapons on U.S. soil and establish a beachhead for a land invasion of the continental USA.
Plus they cite Infowars as a source for BLM rooftop snipers in Austin.
They have got to stay away from the meth, that stuff will make you paranoid and hallucinate.

[KATU] The sheriffs of Clackamas and Washington County say they will not send staff to help with protests in Portland after Oregon Governor Kate Brown unveiled a plan to address the violence at protests.
The plan called on several local law enforcement agencies to help, including the sheriff's offices of Washington and Clackamas counties.
Clackamas Co. Sheriff Craig Roberts said the governor didn’t approach his office before rolling out the plan, intended to address the violence and arson while also protecting free speech.
"Increasing law enforcement resources in Portland will not solve the nightly violence and now, murder," the sheriff said. "The only way to make Portland safe again, is to support a policy that holds offenders accountable for their destruction and violence."
Washington County Sheriff Pat Garrett cited several risks that led to the decision, including "the lack of political support for public safety, the uncertain legal landscape, the current volatility combined with intense scrutiny on use of force."
Gov. Brown's plan also said Gresham Police would help with the protest response. KATU reached out to Gresham PD, and they said they are "currently in discussion" on whether or not they will assist the Portland Police Bureau.
The Oregon Association Chiefs of Police also spoke out just before 5 p.m. Monday, saying it too "cannot dedicate our limited resources away from the communities we serve."
KATU News reached out to Governor Brown's office for a response after the initial statement from Sheriff Roberts was released. They said the plan "is meant to allow for this kind of flexibility in supporting each other as we all collectively deal with the difficult situation in Portland."

As far as I can tell the person of interest from the Saturday shooting is still "under investigation" and hasn't been arrested. They're waiting for him to solve the problem by fleeing the jurisdiction.

Calling out the Guard means Trump won. Can't have that. Better to let your cities burn and hope you can pin it on him. You'd burn down your city to stop Hitler, right?
Besides, if Biden wins, you can get money to rebuild from the FedGov.

Portland politicians have shat the bed, sherrifs are telling them they aren't going to help them wallow out of it.
This Antifa crap has been coddled for YEARS in Portland. The mayor and council own it, make them pay the price. Either call in the Guard, or let the thing burn as an example, preferably with that mayor and his council trapped inside.
[JUSTTHENEWS] Conservative pressure is mounting on Attorney General William Barr and his Justice Department to ratchet up investigations of violent mostly peaceful rioters across the country, specifically to identify those funding and organizing the mayhem.Rep. Ken Buck, R-Colo., and Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, made weekend appeals for DOJ to take action to cut off funding and logistical support for the groups of rioters that have terrorized and destroyed American cities for months.
"Law enforcement needs to look at the funding of violent mostly peaceful criminal activity like this. And national Democrats need to confront it. It’s organized. It’s paid for. It’s violent mostly peaceful. It’s not about Black lives or any lives; it’s about anarchy and destruction," Paul wrote in a Fox News op-ed on Saturday.
The Kentucky senator’s comments came after he and his wife was confronted by an angry mob in Washington DC while leaving President Trump’s nominating convention acceptance speech Thursday night.
Paul said some of activists ended up staying on the same floor of his hotel, furthering his concern for safety.
Buck tweeted his concerns on Sunday, saying it was time for DOJ to follow the money.
"The Justice Department needs to open an investigation into who is funding these violent mostly peaceful riots," Buck wrote.

[EN.ALGHADEER.TV] On Monday, angry protesters stormed the headquarters of the Dijlah TV channel, owned by head of the National Movement for Development and Reform party, Jamal al-Karboli, in the center of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, and set it on fire.
A security source said said that dozens of Shiite protesters broke into the headquarters of the Dijlah channel in the Jadriya in central Baghdad, after the "Dijlah Tarab" channel broadcast a concert, the night of Ashura, which they considered a transgression of the Husseini rituals.
He added that the protesters broke down the contents of the building before setting fire to it.
The Dijlah channel had apologized for broadcasting musical programs on the day of Ashura, and said, "What happened was not intentional," and it decided to close the channel temporarily.
Later, a security source said that the Civil Defense, who tried to put the fire out the channel’s headquarters, was attacked by the protestors.

See, we knew something good was going to come from this.
[IsraelTimes] Paleostinian Khalil Dweikat from West Bank village suspected of killing Rabbi Shai Ohayon on the outskirts of Tel Aviv suburb.
The Shin Bet security service on Monday confirmed that the deadly stabbing in Petah Tikva last week was a terror attack, as was initially suspected.
"In a joint investigation by the Shin Bet and Israel Police it was determined that the assailant acquired a knife and carried out the attack out of nationalist motives," the security service said.
According to Israeli authorities, last Wednesday afternoon the suspected terrorist — Khalil Abd al-Khaliq Dweikat, 46, from the village of Rujeeb in the northern West Bank — stabbed to death Rabbi Shai Ohayon near the Segula Junction on the outskirts of the Tel Aviv suburb of Petah Tikva. Dweikat could be seen on traffic camera footage walking away from the scene on foot after the attack, and he was captured a short distance away.
Upon his arrest, officers searched the suspect and found a bloodstained knife that was apparently used in the attack, police said.
Ohayon, a 39-year-old father of four, was a member of Petah Tikva’s ultra-Orthodox community and studied full time at a religious institution known as a kollel in the nearby town of Kfar Saba, according to Haredi news outlets.
In its statement, the Shin Bet accused Dweikat of violating his work permit at the time of the attack by remaining in Israel for several days in a row when he was required to return home each night.
However, a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all... at the time, Paleostinians were barred from going back and forth between Israel and the West Bank each day under new coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... restrictions issued by the Defense Ministry. Under those orders — which were issued in late June and ended on Sunday — Paleostinian workers were required to stay in Israel for a period of three weeks.
Asked about this discrepancy, the Shin Bet told The Times of Israel that it was referring only to the original conditions of the work permit, not to any new directives. The security service refused to comment further on the matter, saying the investigation was ongoing.
Such violations are common among Paleostinian workers, as the process of crossing back and forth into Israel from the West Bank can be time-consuming and complicated.
The Shin Bet vets potential Paleostinian workers to make sure they are not a security threat before granting them work permits. Dweikat, a father of six, had no history of terrorist activities, the Shin Bet said shortly after the attack.
It is highly unusual for Paleostinians with legal work permits to carry out attacks in Israel, having undergone significant background checks and regular screenings by Israeli security services. It is similarly uncommon for these kinds of attacks to be carried out by middle-aged men; typically assailants are in their teens or twenties.
Ohayon’s funeral was held in Petah Tikva’s Segula Cemetery in the early hours of Thursday morning, with 40 people in attendance and over 150 more outside the burial ground due to coronavirus restrictions. He is survived by his wife Sivan and their four children.
[IsraelTimes] 2 soldiers, 3 imported muscle and civilian said killed in first reported Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... since July 20, when a Hezbollah fighter was killed, sparking ongoing tensions on Lebanese border.
The Israeli military launched a number of missiles at targets in southern Syria late Monday night, according to Syrian state media with reports saying that at least six people, including three imported muscle, were killed.
The official SANA news outlet said that two Syrian soldiers were killed and seven maimed in the attack. A civilian woman was killed and her husband maimed, the report said.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights war monitor said that a further three imported muscle were killed and the attack had targeted sites where the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah has bases. It put the total number of maimed at 10.
"Israeli missiles bombed the vicinity of Izraa, the Namer Brigade, the Qarafa Brigade, and Tal Mahajah in the northeastern countryside of Daraa, where the Lebanese Hezbollah forces are present," the organization said in a statement.
The report did not specifically identify the imported muscle as members of Hezbollah. A number of Iranian-backed forces also operate in the area.
It appeared to be the first reported Israeli airstrike on targets in Syria since a July 20 attack in which a Hezbollah fighter was killed, prompting the Lebanese terror group to vow Dire Revenge for his death and sparking as yet unresolved tensions.
The Israel Defense Forces did not comment on the reported strikes, in accordance with its policy.
