[AmericanGreatness] Attorney General William Barr on Wednesday announced that Operation Legend, a Trump administration initiative to combat violent mostly peaceful crime that started in July, has led to more than 5,000 arrests, according to a Department of Justice statement, The Daily Caller reports.
Since the start of the controversial operation, more than 5,000 individuals have been arrested in nine cities. Of the 5,000 approximately 1,057 have been charged with federal offenses. Approximately 568 of those defendants have been charged with firearms offenses, while approximately 411 have been charged with drug-related crimes and approximately 247 for homicide.
According to the statement, over 2,000 firearms have been seized; and nearly 22 kilos of heroin, more than 15 kilos of fentanyl (enough to deliver more than 7.5 million fatal doses), more than 130 kilos of methamphetamine, more than 28 kilos of cocaine, and more than $7.3 million in drug proceeds have been seized.
Operation Legend has reached into states such as New Mexico, Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Indiana.
During a roundtable discussion with law enforcement Wednesday morning, Barr applauded the crime-fighting effort in St. Louis where Operation Legend began in August, and the city has seen a 49% decrease in homicides and rapes have decreased 38% since then, according to Barr.
The operation was named after LeGend Taliferro, a 4-year-old who was shot and killed June 29 while sleeping in his Kansas City home.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) launched "Operation Legend" with local and federal law enforcement to target violent mostly peaceful crimes, which includes investigating LeGend Taliferro’s case in this operation.

[KhaamaPress] Local officials in Parwan province confirm that a roadside kaboom blast in Salang district of the province killed three people, including Jamal head of the crimes department, and two of his accomplices.
Reports indicate Anti-terror Police chief for the district was also injured in the blast.
Wahida Shahkar, spokeswoman for the governor of Parwan told Khamaa Press that the incident took place at around 6:20 am this Morning in the village of Lalmah-e-Sabzak in Salang district.
Shahkar added that the blast was caused when the police Ranger vehicle collided with a roadside mine.
According to the spokeswoman for the governor of Parwan, the earth-shattering kaboom occurred when the security officials were trying to go on a mission to the village of Siahsang in Salang district.
So far, no individual or group has grabbed credit for the incident.

Police shot the attacker dead minutes after he murdered 47-year-old history teacher Samuel Paty on Friday.
Four relatives of the attacker, including a minor, were detained in the immediate aftermath of the attack in the middle-class suburb of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, according to police sources.
Five more were detained overnight, among them two parents of pupils at the College du Bois d’Aulne where the teacher was employed.
A week ago, one man who said his daughter was in Paty’s class recorded a video shared on social media in which he branded the teacher a thug and appealed to others to "join forces and say ’stop, don’t touch our children’".
It was not clear whether the parent was one of those in police custody. It was also not immediately known if the attacker had seen the video.
A history teacher beheaded in a Gay Paree suburb on Friday had been the target of online threats for having shown pupils cartoons of the Moslem prophet Mohammed in class, La Belle France’s anti-terror prosecutor said on Saturday.
The father of a schoolgirl had sought 47-year-old teacher Samuel Paty’s dismissal and launched an online call for "mobilization" against him after the lesson on freedom of expression, Jean-Francois Ricard said in a televised news conference.
Paty was decapitated outside his school in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, northwest of the capital, and the killer was fatally maimed by police.
Ricard said a warrant of arrest is out for the father’s half sister, who has joined the Islamic State group’s fighters in Syria.
Ricard identified the attacker as Abdullakh A., an 18-year-old Chechen with refugee status in La Belle France. The Russian embassy in Gay Paree said the suspect was Abdullakh Anzorov, whose family had arrived in La Belle France when he was six and requested asylum.
Possibly time to withdraw that asylum, as it seems the family is not suited to living there.
Ricard said the school received threats after the class in early October, which featured the controversial caricatures — one of the prophet naked — with the girl’s father accusing Paty of disseminating "pornography".
The girl and her father lodged a criminal complaint against the teacher, who in turn filed a complaint of defamation, said Ricard.
The aggrieved father named Paty and gave the school’s address in a social media post just days before the beheading, which President Emmanuel Macron has labeled an Islamist terror attack.
The prosecutor said the attacker had been armed with a knife, an airgun and five canisters. He had fired shots at police and tried to stab them as they closed in on him.
He was shot nine times, said Ricard.
Those arrested included four close family members of Abdullakh A., and two people who had reported to police to say they had been in contact with him, said the prosecutor.
Police also arrested a friend of the schoolgirl’s father who had gone with him to see the principal to demand Paty’s dismissal.
The friend was already on the radar of French intelligence services, and Ricard said a warrant of arrest is out for the father’s half sister, who has joined the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. But free speech was apparently too much for Antifa ...the armed wing of the Democratic Party... . Several hundred ’counter protesters’ (in the words of the AP) surged into the area, attacking the conservatives.

Anderson was walking away, trying to protect another rally goer from the Antifa people when he was sucker-punched from behind. The Antifa person then hit him a second time, full-on in the mouth, knocking out his teeth.

Who organized it, and paid for it. DOn't tell me that SFPD and the FBI didn't have assets monitoring on the periphery for vehicle tracking/identification and that no one was doing electronic collection on this. If the FBI is suspect, consider that the USMS seems more pliant to main DOJ interests. Increasingly, there are are ChiCOm fingers in this I suspect which should be of interest, even to the Deep State.

Jim and John grew up and went to school in Wheaton Il. Where Jim's locker used to be in the old Hubble High School is now a bbq joint inside a high end supermarket. More a GPS type where as the old high-school was torn down and replaced. For some reason people noted the position before tear-down.

According to reports, unknown button men attacked the carrier convoy while transporting US military vehicles and supplies from Afghanistan to Pakistain in the Bara area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Friday.
The carrier convoy was reportedly attacked by unknown button men and many of the Tanks caught fire because of the festivities.
This is despite the fact that after the US-Taliban ...Arabic for students... peace deal, the Americans are shifting all its military equipment, tanks, and other military accessories to Pakistain every day through the Torkham border.
This action also provoked reactions from the Afghan government and the public, government officials say this act is a violation of the security agreement with Afghanistan, what should remain with the Afghan defense forces are being transferred to Pakistain.
U.S officials have not yet commented based on the incident.
