#9 In late 1992 media reporting of starving children led Bush to send the Marines to Somalia to stave off a crisis. They did their job, left, and the military was recalled by Clinton in a UN Peace Keeping mission that ended in disaster. Since then Somalia has been a raging disaster and for some reason the USA has felt obliged to accept hundreds of thousands of thankless Somali refugees -- when the rest of Africa wants nothing to do with them. What a tangled web....
