[LAWANDCRIME] A Minnesota judge has declined requests from the former Minneapolis coppers charged in the death of George Floyd, ruling that all four will be tried in a single proceeding which will be televised despite state prosecutors not consenting to any audio or visual coverage in the courtroom.
The Wednesday night order, from Hennepin County Judge Peter Cahill, also denied requests from defendants Derek Chauvin, Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng, and Thomas Kiernan Lane to have the trial moved out of Minneapolis. The defendants had previously argued that remaining in the city would violate their Sixth Amendment right to a fair proceeding due to the amount of pre-trial exposure.
In allowing the proceedings to be televised, Cahill reasoned that the defendants’ Sixth Amendment right to a fair trial ran concurrent with "the general public’s First Amendment right of access to public trials."
"The interests promoted by this First Amendment right of public assess are similar to those promoted by the defendant’s Sixth Amendment right to a public trial," the judge said.
Under Cahill’s order, "audio and video recording, broadcasting, and livestreaming will be allowed" in the courtroom, with "only matters that are on the record" being subject to audio coverage. "Up to three video cameras may be installed in the trial courtroom: one in the back of the courtroom facing the witness stand, one on the wall behind the jury box, and one on or near the bench facing the lectern where counsel examines witnesses."

With every National Socialist takeover to date there has been High Profile court trials to further incite and/or warn the public. While avoiding the arrests and trials of National Socialist leaders own illegal actions.
Let us say there is have a national TV NOT-GUILTY Verdict by plan.
Any subsequent riots and etc... will then allow the National Socialists the ability to go down a checklist of items often used to falsely accuse rival leaders, and/or explain/justify to the public the takeover and measures being taken.
These are usually immediately followed by New "Protective" measures, edicts, directives and mandates limiting the public's previous rights.
All of which make it easier to filter out any opposition or revolt minded persons.

To a distant observer such as myself, it seemed they were over charged at the time without an adequate investigation. Some of the cynical out there might think that was to provide a future catalyst for more riots when it becomes difficult if not impossible to get conviction, but that couldn't be.

Face it. Unless these cops are convicted of first degree murder, and all given an automatic, immediate, non-appealable death penalty, there will be more riots.

[ToloNews] The US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) in a report has said that the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... ’s violence has increased by 50 percent in the past three months compared to three months before this period.
Based on the report, the peace talks in Doha are in a stalemate and that continued violence by the Taliban has been posing serious blows to the Afghan grinding of the peace processor.
"However, Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried... US officials have recently indicated that the Taliban is not fully meeting other commitments stipulated in or broadly part of the US-Taliban agreement—in particular those regarding counterterrorism guarantees and reduced Taliban violence—whose importance US officials have stressed repeatedly," said the report.
Quoting a bigwig in the Pentagon, the report states that if the Taliban failed to abide by its commitments in terms of fight against terrorism, in that scenario, the US’s decision about troops’ withdrawal from Afghanistan will be affected.
The senior US official has also said that continued support of Afghan National Security and Defense Forces (ANDSF) will be important in the post-peace era to save the Afghan government from collapse.
"Increase in violence threatens grinding of the peace processor and it also disappoints the international community and the Afghan people," said Sediq Sediqqi, front man to President Ashraf Ghani ...former chancellor of Kabul University, now president of Afghanistan. Before returning to Afghanistan in 2002 he was a scholar of political science and anthropology. He worked at the World Bank working on international development assistance. As Finance Minister of Afghanistan between July 2002 and December 2004, he led Afghanistan's attempted economic recovery until the Karzais stole all the money... "The Taliban have recently increased violence against the people of Afghanistan and they are the main perpetrators of violence against the people," said Tariq Aryan, a front man for the Ministry of Interior.
SIGAR’s report states that Taliban’s violence drastically increased in Afghanistan during August, September and November.
Quoting Gen. Scott Miller, the commander of US and NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A cautionary tale of cost-benefit analysis.... forces in Afghanistan, the report said that increase in Taliban violence has been damaging the Afghan grinding of the peace processor.
"The Taliban’s main target is the Afghan people. The Taliban not only decreased their attacks, but they increased it in major cities and there are also changes in their war tactics," said Nilofar Ibrahimi, an MP.
"The Afghan government has the responsibility to ensure the security of its citizens and share the outcomes of its investigations about the killing of the civilians with the people," said Zabiullah Farhang, a front man to the Afghan Human Rights Commission.
On the civilian casualties, the report said: "RS reported 2,561 civilian casualties this quarter (July 1—September 30,2020), which included 876 deaths and 1,685 injuries. In line with the continued rise in violence, this quarter’s casualties increased by 43% compared to last quarter (April 1—June 30, 2020).104 Though casualties are typically high in the third quarter of any year, this quarter’s high figures are notable because they occurred during an ongoing grinding of the peace processor and despite Taliban commitments to reduce violence.105 Figure 3.28 on the previous page shows that while this quarter’s casualties are 36% lower than the especially high casualties seen during the same period last year, they are about the same level as the third quarter of 2018."
The report quotes the Department of Defense as saying the Taliban lowering violence levels "is a component of the Taliban’s broader commitments in the [U.S.-Taliban] agreement," although it does not appear in the published text."
The key Taliban commitment in the U.S.-Taliban agreement stipulates that the group will take specific actions relating to counterterrorism to "prevent any group or individual, including al Qaeda, from using the soil of Afghanistan to threaten the security of the United States and its allies.

[Jpost] As La Belle France faces a wave of Islamist bully boy terrorism, a small group of French immigrants colonists recently moved to Israel and settled in Nahariya, Israel’s northernmost coastal city, the Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) reported.
The unique group comprises 13 families, with at least one health-care professional in each family. They've arrived in Israel through a special project initiated by Keren Kayemeth L’Yisrael (KKL) and the independent nonprofit Klitat Kehillat Yisrael organization, known in La Belle France as "Alyah de Groupe."
The project is meant to promote the development of Israel's periphery while offering new olim the opportunity of a meaningful aliyah.
According to JNS, one of the main reasons the new olim chose to settle as a group in Nahariya is because of the opportunity to work as physicians, dentists and pharmacists in an area that on the one hand is relatively deprived of health professionals and on the other hand is home to the largest government hospital in the Galilee: the Western Galilee Medical Center.
Due to the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... pandemic, the pilot trip that was planned to take place was cancelled, meaning that many of them never even visited Nahariya before making the move. Nevertheless, the new French olim aren't complaining. Most of them are actually grateful for the support they received throughout the process and during a pandemic, making everything naturally more complicated.
"With [Klitat Kehillat Yisrael's] help, we were able to navigate the bureaucratic challenges of making aliyah during a pandemic with five children," Dr. Hava Tmim, one of the olim, said.
Israel faces a shortage of medical staff including both doctors and nurses, partly due to the fact that many of the country's medical professionals arrived in the first wave of aliyah from the former Soviet Union in the 1990s and are now retiring.
That's why initiatives such as this one, which find new ways of combining the country's national interests to the aliyah enterprise - allowing meaningful and practical additions to Israel's professional fields - are not only important, but crucial.
Anarchy and terror, Communists on the march, our political institutions shaken by systemic corruption, our intelligence agencies corrupt and incompetent
Convert to Judaism, and you’re good to go. Just make sure you go to a Modern Orthodox rabbi — Israel at the moment does not accept Reform conversions, and they can be funny about Conservative ones. Figure three years of study with constant challenges to your conviction, since God doesn’t need you to be Jewish in order to let you into Heaven, a ceremonial snip when you graduate if you are male, and not only will you have the right to make aliyah but one of your great-grandsons can be the next king of the Jews, just like King David. ;-)
Restricting immigration according to ethnic group is an alt-right idea.
They came to it late. Besides, as I explain above, anyone willing to do the work can join the ethnicity, which means what Israel is doing is not actually old-fashioned Blood & Soil ethno-nationalism at all.
