[NYP] A pregnant British woman had a miscarriage after a thief kicked her in the stomach while stealing her smartphone, according to cops.
The unidentified victim, who was 9-weeks pregnant and in her 30s, lost her baby soon after the bicycle-riding crook attacked her to snatch the iPhone X she was using to call her mom, London’s Met Police said.
"This is a particularly sad case that has had life-changing consequences for the victim," Detective Constable James Pepperell said as he released an e-fit Thursday of the suspect, who struck in July.
"Needless to say this has caused much heartache and pain to the victim and her family."
As well as requesting tips, Pepperell also appealed to the crook to "do the right thing and come forward."
The suspect is described as mixed race, around 30-years-old and of stocky build with tattoos covering his left arm. He was wearing dark blue shorts, a dark blue baseball cap and a white bag.
[KNEWZ] Dead-beat mom Jennifer Frenchmeyer has been arrested by police in Spring, Texas, for abandoning her four-year-old boy at an ice skating rink for hours while she drifted through a drug-induced haze, KHOU reports.
She had taken the child to Skate Champions in the suburban town on Friday.
And then at some point, Frenchmeyer abandons her boy at the rink.
When the owner of Skate Champions roller rink got ready to lock up late Friday night, he was surprised to find a young boy sitting outside alone.
Spring is a suburb north of Houston. The small community has a population of about 55,000.
According to News Break, the rink’s owner called the cops about the abandoned boy just before midnight.
The police quickly arrived to respond to the call about the abandoned boy and soon found Frenchmeyer unconscious in a car parked nearby.
Frenchmeyer disclosed to the police that after she abandoned her little boy at the skating rink, she smoked crack cocaine.
Frenchmeyer was arrested and charged with child abandonment with intent to return for leaving the boy all alone in the rink, Crime Online reports.
According to Mark Herman of Harris County Constable Precinct 4, the suspect slurred her words and had “bloodshot eyes.”
Child Protective Services got involved and passed the poor child over to a more responsible relative.
Police reviewed the surveillance videos from the skating rink to determine the course of events that had transpired when Frenchmeyer abandoned her poor little boy. They concluded that the child had been on his own for at least four hours.
The Twitter account of Mark Herman, the Harris County Constable for Precinct 4, tweeted the image of Frenchmeyer’s mugshot, which features her looking chastened and glum while sporting heavy black eyeliner and eyebrow pencil, blood-red lipstick on a mouth drawn down into a scowl, and a neck tattoo.

[NYPOST] A funeral home worker was fired after taking a picture of himself next to the open coffin of the late Diego Maradona, according to Mirror Sport.
Maradona, the Argentinian soccer legend, died Wednesday at the age of 60 after suffering a heart attack.
The worker was supposed to be preparing Maradona’s body for the wake, according the report. Instead he reportedly stopped to pose for a picture with a thumbs up next to the coffin. The English tabloid opted not to run the disturbing photo.

[NYPost] While others mostly were feasting on turkey and stuffing on Thursday, Mike Tyson’s holiday meal featured an homage to his most infamous moment in the ring.
While preparing for his comeback exhibition fight Saturday night against Roy Jones Jr., Tyson and his family ate a cake in the shape of Jones’ head. LOL
The former heavyweight champ even slices off and eats the "ear" of the cake, in reference to the 1997 bout in which he chomped the ear of opponent Evander Holyfield.
"Tastes so much better than Evander’s," the former heavyweight champion says in the YouTube video entitled "Thanksgiving with the Tysons."
In keeping with the holiday spirit, Tyson also calls Jones "a turkey," and he later posted a photo on Instagram of the cake leftovers being placed in a dog dish for his dog Mars
Saturday’s eight-round exhibition fight will mark the first time the 54-year-old Tyson has been in the ring for a sanctioned match since another exhibition against Corey Sanders in 2006. His last professional fight was a TKO loss to Kevin McBride the previous year.
Tyson will receive a reported $10 million for the anticipated pay-per-view event against the 52-year-old Jones, a former world champion in four weight classes. A national treasure
[NYPOST] A New Jersey woman who once said she was "disgusted" by LGBT curriculum flushed her career on a local school board down the toilet this week by accidentally broadcasting her bathroom break on Zoom during a public meeting.
La Belle Frances Cogelja resigned as a trustee of the Hackensack Board of Education over the embarrassing video fail Monday night when she brought her laptop into the bathroom to relieve herself, according to the Daily Voice. "Lt. Frank Drebin to the courtesy phone"
Cogelja apparently was unaware she’d left the camera on — and her trip to the toilet was witnessed by nearly 140 attendees of the virtual meeting, including students.
The board’s vice president, Scott James-Vickery, addressed the NSFW spectacle later on.
"As far as I’m concerned, while our teachers are being professional and you’re at home, sitting on the toilet, we are moving on with this district doing what’s best," he said.
Cogelja’s resignation was announced by the board Tuesday afternoon.

[Summit News] The world’s so-called "hottest doctor," who has repeatedly called for mandatory mask laws and social distancing, was pictured maskless partying on a boat in Miami while surrounded by bikini-clad women. "But, but...I'm a Democrat!"
Mikhail Varshavski [never heard of him]
known as ’Dr. Mike’ online, completely contradicted his own advice by throwing a ’super-spreader’ 31st birthday party for himself on November 12.
"A picture of Varshavski on a boat in Sunset Harbor surrounded by 14 other people — most of them bikini-clad women — has since done the rounds with his fans calling him out for hypocrisy," reports the Daily Mail.
Another video shows the doctor massaging a woman’s neck on the deck of the boat while wearing a face scarf that isn’t even covering his nose.
Varshavski behavior is completely hypocritical given that he has repeatedly lectured others for ignoring social distancing and demanded mandatory mask laws to save lives.
"If by not wearing a mask you put other’s lives at risk it might make sense to make it mandatory. Wouldn’t you agree?" Varshavski tweeted back in June.
Hahahaha pic.twitter.com/15CrdJgIcA
— Cerno (@Cernovich) November 25, 2020
A month later, the doctor appeared on Fox Business and asserted, "Wearing a mask decreases the spread of this virus and that is of utmost importance for people’s health and the health of our economy."
"So please, if you’re going outside in public and are going to be around other people, wear a mask," he added.
During a YouTube interview with Dr. Anthony Fauci, Varshavski also said, "Social distancing is incredibly important. That’s how we control the spread of this virus."
Varshavski has also appeared on CNN numerous times telling Americans to abide by coronavirus rules to which he is apparently not subject.
"You are supposed to be the example. I admired and respected you. Now that is all lost," said one.
"I never cared about my health, I never trusted doctors before him, now I don't know what to believe or do anymore," added another. "I was able to bring my family back to reality only with the information and arguments he has provided in his videos."
Apparently for Varshavski (and numerous other prominent figures as highlighted in the video below), it's very much ‘do as we say, not as we do'.
Perhaps the intention all along is to give a false sense of re-assurance to keep viral numbers high?
If you lockdown at the peak of the curve (like has been done) you lock in a high level of covid for a much longer time.
New START, which entered into force in 2011, can be extended by mutual consent for up to five years.
[AlAhram] Many experts fear New START's demise could fuel a nuclear arms race and intensify US-Russia tensions already at their worst since the Cold War ended in 1991.
Arms control advocates are urging Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden ...Candidate for president in 2020. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass.... to extend the last US-Russian treaty limiting deployed strategic nuclear arms for five years, but some experts argue the US president-elect should go for a shorter period to maintain leverage over Moscow.

[G&G] It’s hard to improve on the All-Star Special (eggs over easy and hash browns scattered-smothered-covered, of course), but brewmaster Taylor Lamm and the team at Oconee Brewing Company in Greensboro, Georgia, may have figured out how to do it. On December 18, OBC will release Bacon & Kegs, its bacon-infused red ale created in collaboration with Waffle House. And while you can’t actually order the suds at your local Waffle House, beginning next month, you can stop by the brewery in downtown Greensboro for a pint on draft, a growler, or a six pack to take home.
[Free Beacon] Pete Buttigieg's former campaign headquarters in South Bend, Ind., has found a new tenant. "We wanted a place we wouldn't have to re-purpose, just clean up a bit"
Soma Pole Studio is currently renovating the building, which will eventually include nine poles, and plans to start offering high-priced pole dancing classes in January 2021.
The South Bend Tribune reports:
Every client is expected to take a beginner class to learn the basics of pole dancing, but from there, patrons will be able to choose from a purely workout-focused class with flexibility and conditioning, an acrobatic class that works on maneuvers and gymnastic-like tricks on the vertical pole and an exotic choreography class that focuses on the more sensual side.
Memberships and other class packages are already available on the studio's website. Prospective clients are encouraged to "[g]ive the gift of pole classes this holiday season" by taking advantage of a limited-time offer—4 classes for just $75.
The studio's location (and mere existence) is a fitting homage to Buttigieg's legacy as the former mayor of South Bend. As mayor, Buttigieg was routinely criticized for fueling the town's gentrification by encouraging upscale economic development at the expense of minorities and poorer residents.
Buttigieg, 38, believed his record as mayor was sufficient qualification to run for president in 2020. His improbable campaign exceeded expectations, thanks in part to his strong support among wealthy white liberals in "boat shoe" strongholds such as Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket. However, his White House hopes were dashed in South Carolina, where Buttigieg placed fourth after receiving just 3 percent of the black vote.

Now that's diversity for you - the back yard for every other Kennedy and John Forbes Kerry clones. The local waitresses love these guys (um, maybe not!).
About a 45' video that blew my mind. Not so much by the way the voting machines and software and infrastructure works, because you can kind of intuit it from what happened. What surprised me was that we had them dead to rights, and some high-up US officials have known this was coming for a while now. I'll bet MI-6, Iran and China knew about this, too.
Looks like this guy saw the Dominion thing coming from a mile away and warned authorities. Plenty of detail to nail lots of people of all stripes to a cross here. Brought it to CISA and that meeting was an abortion. Brought it to the Freedom Caucus and meh. Met with some DHS folks and that's when things started popping, including dragging in CISA this time with their eyes open.
Plenty of time for Trump to lay an ambush for them, but it sure doesn't seem like he did.
So is this 4-D chess? Failure on DHS' part? Do I recall that Soros has something to do with CISA? Why would Trump have fired Krebs, the CISA head, if Krebs had this info and had acted on it? Maybe he didn't?
Apparently Dominion was in the business of selling wins to the highest bidder, and some of our politicians from both sides of the aisle took advantage of this. So how did they know about it but not others? What would keep the loser quiet if both sides knew? Why didn't they report this to DHS?

Highest bidder -- precisely. Slush, baksheesh, payola dominates our politics. It's a Uniparty thing. Look how fast nearly every GOP critter in DC caved on the election results farce.
Next up: absentee ballot fraud for all!
Watch as GOPpers become experts at ballot harvesting.

If you believe everything that fits your narrative you have problem.
[NYT] The Army is said to be spending millions on neuroscience that could lead to ’telepathic’ soldiers.
The goal is to build a system that would allow soldiers to communicate via their brain signals. So far, ARO neuroscientists have reportedly been able to decode and put back together behavioral signals from the brain.
They focused on monkeys for their recent research. ARO program manager Hamid Krim told C4ISRNET: "Here we’re not only measuring signals, but we’re interpreting them."
The next stage is to try and decode other types of brain signals.
Then create a computer that can interpret thoughts just by picking up on signals.
Krim told C4ISRNET: "You can read anything you want; doesn’t mean that you understand it. "The next step after that is to be able to understand it.
"At the end of the day, that is the original intent mainly: to have the computer actually being in a full duplex communication mode with the brain."
The tech could help soldiers plan their next move while remaining completely silent. It could also pick up on stress and fatigue signals before the person even realizes they’re getting tired.
Krim said: "In a theater, you can have two people talking to each other without ... even whispering a word.
"So you and I are out there in the theater and we have to ... talk about something that we’re confronting.
"I basically talked to my computer — your computer can be in your pocket, it can be your mobile phone or whatever — and that computer talks to ... your teammate’s computer.
"And then his or her computer is going to talk to your teammate."
First thing that will happen is they will re-create the pantheon with sandbags, and while everyone is nodding and admiring, all at the same time each soldier will draw a dikpik on a wall, chanting some jody about too much hallway and not enough marker.
