A Kansas family is grieving the loss of Emily Sander, a pørn star known as Zoey Zane, following the announcement by police that they've recovered a body that matches the college student's description.
The Wichita Eagle reports this morning that "a Butler County deputy and an El Dorado police officer found a body matching Sander's description at about 2:20 p.m. along U.S. 54 near the Woodson County town of Toronto, 50 miles east of El Dorado. The body was found on the fifth day of a widespread ground search."
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram says about 30,000 people each paid $39.95 a month to look at nüde photos of the teenager.
Sander was last seen Friday leaving a bar with Israel Mireles, a 24-year-old resident alien with ties to Mexico. He is now the subject of an international manhunt. Her family is grieving. "We loved her," grandfather Clem Sander tells the paper.
Police Chief Tom Boren says the public attention that the case has attracted because of Sander's involvement with pørnography is "literally crippling our investigation." He has said that Sander's work for the website isn't believed to have played a role in her disappearance. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram says about 30,000 people each paid $39.95 a month to look at nüde photos of the teenager.
Mireles, the suspect in her disappearance, is said to have relatives in that paper's circulation area who aren't cooperating with detectives.
I wasn't going to go with this story, despite the involvement of the resident alien "with ties to Mexico." (Is he a Messican or not?) But then I saw that 30,000 people were paying $39.95 a month to look at the late Emily nekkid. By my quick calculations, that's something over a million bucks a month just to view her birthday suit. I've hired a team of crack photographers, and they're going to come by tomorrow to take pictures of me in the buff. Having gone through the past few months wondering how I was going to pay the mortgage, I'm looking forward to scraping by on $1,198,500 a month. Big party at my place, soon's that money starts rolling in.
I intend to make it a practice not to get too close to any Messicans, though.

Fred, with Dog as my witness I'd sooner fork over the 39.95 semolians for your distinctly unviewed photo galley than even consider kicking down that amount for some backwoods skank. In a sane world, your coffers would be filled and hers conspicuously depleted, save by syphillitic reprobates. And, yes, this is an entirely appropriate submission that demonstrates just how far off of the rails our nation has gotten.

Snark aside, this poor girl certainly was a victim of the unwanted consequences of mass migrations into the West, the background noise of crime, petty or violent. Sad, because this is self-inflicted, in fine.

it doesn't make sense that she was pulling down that much money. Did you see the bar where she met that guy? No girl making that much money would have stepped foot in that. No way.
If 30,000 did pay to visit her sight, then I doubt that most of those $39.95 fees were going to her. That's a lotta dough. She would have attracted the attention of organized crime making that kind of income.

Fred: There is no end to the money making opportunities. Especially if it is so kinky that you don't even see any naughty bits.
One site in Nevada specializes in pictures of women's feet. Just their feet. A pay site with something like 300,000 hits a month. To look at feet.
Other high value adult sites: clothed women posing with guns (hey! Rantburg ladies!); clothed women with their vehicle stuck in mud; pictures of clothed women smoking; short videos of clothed women kicking men in the crotch; clothed women and men having messy food fights.
And one of my favorite perversity sites: video close ups of angry women snarling at men for endless infractions. A lot of guys actually pay like $39.95 a month for videos of women giving them what for, for being fat lazy slobs, not doing their chores, sitting around watching TV or the Internet all day and playing video games, etc., etc.
You would think they would run out of things to complain about.

Wow, they actually have to PAY for that?!
