Self sustaining fusion coming closer to reality
In a breakthrough in the effort to achieve controlled fusion energy, a research team at Lawrenceville Plasma Physics, Inc. (LPP) in Middlesex, NJ, announced that they have demonstrated the confinement of ions with energies in excess of 100 keV (the equivalent of a temperature of over 1 billion degrees C) in a dense plasma. They achieved this using a compact fusion device called a dense plasma focus (DPF), which fits into a small room and confines the plasma with powerful magnetic fields produced by the currents in the plasma itself. Reaching energies over 100 keV is important in achieving a long-sought goal of fusion research--to burn hydrogen-boron fuel. Hydrogen-boron, (also known by its technical abbreviation, pB11) is considered the ideal fusion fuel, since it produces energy in the form of charged particles that can be directly converted to electricity. This could dramatically cut the cost of electricity generation and eliminate all production of radioactive waste.
An important breakthrough fusion would be. In time, all nuclear reactors would not be needed and any country wanting one would only be interested in a nuclear weapon closing that loophole. Oil would be not needed in large quantities and the financing of the Middle East and it's corrupt dictators would be severely cut. Coal mining would not be needed anymore. (I would put no CO2 in here but that "theory" is such bullshit it doesn't rate) Space travel would be cheaper and faster since ships could carry better and lighter engines with less fuel weight. Cheap, abundant and safe energy would be almost as civilization changing as the wheel.

#1  Hey Darth thanks for the post. I have always been interested in fusion and the promise it has. There will be many other developments I am certain that will compete with this technology. I could not find what material is used to contain plasma. Super magnet- that has always been used to contain the plasma. Some sort of barrier other than super magnet must insulate from having any migration of plasma. Pitting of metal containment wall was always the biggest issue. I say this because the super magnet has to be cooled as other items as well. Size and weight were issues also. I see a day when energy is transmitted in one form or another and units simply receive signal energy to operate. No direct physical contact. Better yet converting energy we are bombarded with 24/7 (not just solar). I like to keep things simple.

Army relieves 172nd Infantry Brigade Commander
GRAFENWÖHR, Germany -- The Army has relieved the commander of the 172nd Infantry Brigade, shortly before the unit intensifies its training for an Afghanistan deployment this summer.

Acting V Corps commander Brig. Gen. Allen W. Batschelet said Tuesday that Col. Frank Zachar was relieved of command on Monday, "... due to loss of confidence in his ability to command."
This one has a very bad smell. Got to be more to this story. Batschelet was heavily decorated and headed for a star. The CSM is to be reassigned as well.

#2  CO and CSM? That's got to be a nasty.

Batschelet said there was no specific incident that led the Army to relieve Zachar.

“There weren’t any illegal, immoral or unethical activities,” he said. “His (Zachar’s) leadership style wasn’t really effective and over time the command here lost confidence in his ability to command.”

The 172nd is also without a deputy commander since the last officer to hold that position, Lt. Col. Jamie Gough, recently moved to another assignment.

Col. Zachar was in command for 7 months (May 26, 2010).

"Works well when under constant supervision and cornered like a rat in a trap"

"He has the wisdom of youth, and the energy of old age."

"This Officer should go far - and the sooner he starts, the better."

"This officer is depriving a village somewhere of its idiot."

"Only occasionally wets himself under pressure."

"This Officer is really not so much of a has-been, but more of a definitely won't-be."

"When she opens her mouth, it seems that this is only to change whichever foot was previously in there."

"He has carried out each and every one of his duties to his entire satisfaction."

"He would be out of his depth in a car park puddle."

"Technically sound, but socially impossible."

"This Officer reminds me very much of a gyroscope - always spinning around at a frantic pace, but not really going anywhere."

"This young man has delusions of adequacy."

"When he joined my ship, this Officer was something of a granny; since then he has aged considerably. "

"This Medical Officer has used my ship to carry his genitals from port to port, and my officers to carry him from bar to bar."

"Since my last report he has reached rock bottom, and has started to dig."

"She sets low personal standards and then consistently fails to achieve them."

"His men would follow him anywhere, but only out of curiosity."

"I would not breed from this Officer."

"This officer has the astonishing ability to provoke something close to a mutiny every time he opens his mouth".

NY man leaps from window, saved by uncollected trash
[Arab News] A man who jumped out of a ninth-floor window in New York was alive on Monday after he landed in a giant heap of trash uncollected since the city's huge snowstorm a week ago.

Vangelis Kapatos, 26, was hospitalized in critical but stable condition after jumping from his apartment in midtown Manhattan on Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

Sanitation workers have not collected trash since the Dec. 26 storm dumped more than a foot and a half (45 cm) of snow on the city. Mounds of garbage several feet high line many sidewalks.

"Everybody is complaining that the trash hasn't been picked up," Kapatos' aunt said on Monday. "But me, I'm thankful that it was never picked up."

Police said the trash bags below broke Kapatos' fall and that he left no suicide note before jumping.

The Department of Sanitation, which was only resuming garbage collection on Monday, estimates 77,000 tons of trash had been left uncollected since the storm.

Katharina Capatos, who spells her surname differently from her nephew, told Reuters he was severely depressed and had spent a month in the psychiatric ward at Bellevue Hospital before being released last week.

He also was worried about the possibility of being evicted from his $572-a-month rent-stabilized apartment, she said.

Kapatos' eviction hearing was scheduled to proceed on Tuesday, according to the New York City Housing Court.

Africa Subsaharan
Gbagbo agrees to negotiate a peaceful end
[Ennahar] The outgoing president of Cote d'Ivoire Laurent Gbagbo has agreed to negotiate without preconditions a peaceful end to the political crisis in his country where two presidents have been proclaimed, announced Tuesday the mediators of the African Union and ECOWAS.

African leaders fail to convince Gbagbo to quit
[The Nation (Nairobi)] The special emissaries of the ECOWAS and African Union blocs left Côte d'Ivoire late on Monday without a deal about the withdrawal of outgoing President Laurent Gbagbo, said to be their road map.

Before leaving the country, the President of Sierra Leone, member of the delegation told the press that "the discussions are ongoing" at 10:30 pm (local time and GMT).

However about one hour earlier, one of the claimant of Cote d'Ivoire's presidency Alassane Ouattara said "discussions are over". The opposition leader made the declaration after a meeting with the envoys adding that he rejects "purely and simply" the elections evaluation committee Gbagbo proposed again to the hosts.

For their second mission to Cote d'Ivoire in less than a week, the ECOWAS delegation which comprised the presidents of Benin, Cape Verde and Sierra Leone, was joined on Monday by Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
The delegation first met with Mr Gbagbo who, refusing offers of amnesty and exile, rather proposed for another time an international committee to evaluate the elections.

Before leaving for Ouattara's headquarters, Mr Odinga told journalists described the talks as "useful". "We came here as a joint delegation in order to have dialogue with a view to resolving the crisis in Côte d'Ivoire," he added.

According to sources, apart from the evaluation committee, Mr Ouattara also refused to sit at the same table of his rival as suggested by the mediators. "We know Mr Gbagbo well. It is a strategy to gain time to buy weapons and recruit mercenaries," he also told the press at the end of the two hours talks with the joint delegation.

Then the group went back to presidential palace where they had a second meeting with Mr Gbagbo.

The three presidents and the Kenyan Prime Minister are due to report back Tuesday to ECOWAS chairman and Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan.

Arabia
Jeddah will have worlds biggest gold factory
[Arab News] Jeddah is home to a thriving local gold industry. Now it will be home to the world's largest gold factory.

"The factory will become a reality by the end of this year," Essam A. Aziz Sultani Al-Ashrafi, chief executive officer of Taiba for Gold & Jewels Co. Ltd., told Arab News on the sidelines of a news conference on Monday. The press meet was convened to announce the launch of the "Golden Plume Contest" for gold jewelry designers at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI).

The contest has been organized by the World Gold Council (WGC) in cooperation with the head of the Jeddah Jewelers Board, Taiba and the Khadija Bint Khowailid Businesswomen Center of the JCCI.

The factory, once operational, will employ 500 to 800 workers, thus creating jobs for young Saudis, Al-Ashrafi said, adding that this ambitious project is the brainchild of Taiba for Gold & Jewels.

He added that the factory is already under construction at Jeddah Industrial Estate-II, covering an area of 22,000 square meters.

The Kingdom has always led the Gulf and the Middle East in terms of gold and jewelry consumption and sales. He attributed this to the high quality of products that are sold and also manufactured locally.

Vulture flies into Saudi Arabia without permission; promptly gets arrested on landing.
A vulture tagged by scientists at Tel Aviv University has strayed into Saudi Arabian territory, where it was promptly arrested on suspicion of being a Mossad spy, Israeli and Saudi media reported Tuesday.
The birds. The bugs. The water you drink. The air you breathe. The rain. The food you eat. The guy next to you. The chick next to him.
We're everywhere, boys. Everywhere.

The bird was found in a rural area of the country wearing a transmitter and a leg bracelet bearing the words 'Tel Aviv University', according to the reports, which surfaced first in the Israeli daily Ma'ariv.
It's how we pass information back and forth with Ahmadinejad in Iran. Go ahead, don't believe it. Won't you be in for a surprise...
Although these tags indicate that the bird was part of a long-term research project into migration patters, residents and local reporters told Saudi Arabia's Al-Weeam newspaper that the matter seemed to be a 'Zionist plot.'

Bangladesh
800 soldiers in dock at Bangladesh mutiny hearing
Some 800 shackled Bangladeshi soldiers crammed into a specially-built Dhaka court on Wednesday, accused of murder and other serious offences during a mutiny in which scores of officers were massacred.

During the 2009 uprising, 74 people -- including 57 senior army officers -- were killed at a military base in the city.

The handcuffed defendants, who include about 20 civilians, shuffled silently into the huge courtroom after being transported from jail in a fleet of prison vans.

The temporary building has been erected on land normally used as a playground, with long benches installed to accommodate the 800 accused.

Judge Jahirul Haq will hear about the 30-hour mutiny in which Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) soldiers turned on their commanders, hacking them to death, torturing them and burning them alive before hiding their bodies in sewers.

Haq adjourned the case until February 3, saying "on that day we will read out the charges against all the defendants in full."

The mutineers stole an estimated 2,500 weapons and broke into an annual meeting of top BDR officers before shooting them at point blank range. The BDR's head, Major General Shakil Ahmed, was among those killed.

They also stormed Ahmed's house on the base and killed his wife, domestic staff and guests, before setting fire to the building and stealing valuables including gold jewelery.

Armed police patrolled outside the court as dozens of relatives gathered to follow the proceedings. One elderly defendant with a colostomy bag was pushed into the court in a wheelchair.

Wednesday's pre-trial hearing came after hundreds of other BDR soldiers involved in the nationwide rebellion were earlier convicted on minor charges in special military-run courts.

As the mutiny in February 2009 spread to BDR bases across Bangladesh, it briefly threatened the new government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, which had been elected only one month previously.

The cause of the violence is uncertain but resentment by soldiers against BDR senior officers -- who do not come from within the BDR -- is widely seen as the main factor.

The 800 accused face charges ranging from murder to conspiracy, looting military weapons and arson. Those accused of murder face the death penalty if convicted.

"This case is unique, there has been nothing like it anywhere in the world," judge Haq said. "We can assure everyone that we will make sure of 100 percent justice."

The case is the country's single largest criminal probe ever, with police interviewing 9,500 BDR soldiers and civilians and detaining 2,307 suspects.

Investigators have cleared Bangladesh's main political parties of involvement in the mutiny, but more than 1,200 people are likely to be called to testify, including government ministers and senior army officers.

The BDR is responsible for patrolling the country's borders.

Britain
Number of Brits converted to Islam doubled
(KUNA) -- The number of Britons choosing to become Mohammedans has nearly doubled in the past decade, it was reported Tuesday.

Following the global spread of "violent Islamism", British Mohammedans have faced more scrutiny, criticism and analysis than any other religious community, the Independent newspaper reported.

Yet, despite the often negative portrayal of Islam, thousands of Britons are adopting the religion every year, according to one of the most comprehensive attempts to estimate how many people have embraced Islam.

Estimating the number of converts living in Britain has always been difficult because census data does not differentiate between whether a religious person has adopted a new faith or was born into it, the paper noted.

Previous estimates have placed the number of Mohammedan converts in the UK at between 14,000 and 25,000.

But a new study by the inter-faith think-tank "Faith Matters" suggests the real figure could be as high as 100,000, with as many as 5,000 new conversions nationwide each year.
Versus 200,000 Muslims reported by the Times to have converted to Christianity as of 2006. And the Muslim claim that sub-Saharan Africa alone sees 6 million conversions from Islam to Christianity each year. Raw numbers need a frame in which to be properly understood.
By using data from the Scottish 2001 census - the only survey to ask respondents what their religion was at birth as well as at the time of the survey - researchers broke down what proportion of Mohammedan converts there were and then extrapolated the figures for Britain as a whole.

In all they estimated that there were 60,699 converts living in Britain in 2001.

With no new census planned until next year, researchers polled mosques in London to try to calculate how many conversions take place a year.

The results gave a figure of 1,400 conversions in the capital in the past 12 months which, when extrapolated nationwide, would mean approximately 5,200 people adopting Islam every year. The figures are comparable with studies in Germany and La Belle France which found that there were around 4,000 conversions a year.
Versus 15% of European Muslims leaving Islam, according to the same Times article linked above. For perspective, in 2009 the BBC said France had 5-6 million Muslims, and Germany 3 million.
Fiyaz Mughal, director of Faith Matters, admitted that coming up with a reliable estimate of the number of converts to Islam was notoriously difficult.

"This report is the best intellectual 'guestimate' using census numbers, local authority data and polling from mosques," he said.

"Either way few people doubt that the number adopting Islam in the UK has risen dramatically in the past 10 years." Asked why people were converting in such large numbers he replied "I think there is definitely a relationship between conversions being on the increase and the prominence of Islam in the public domain.

People are interested in finding out what Islam is all about and when they do that they go in different directions.

Most shrug their shoulders and return to their lives but some will inevitably end up liking what they discover and will convert." Batool al-Toma, an Irish born convert to Islam of 25 years who works at the Islamic Foundation and runs the New Mohammedans Project, one of the earliest groups set up specifically to help converts, said she believed the new figures were "a little on the high side".

"My guess would be the real figure is somewhere in between previous estimates, which were too low, and this latest one," she said.

"I definitely think there has been a noticeable increase in the number of converts in recent years. The media often tries to pinpoint specifics but the reasons are as varied as the converts themselves." Inayat Bunglawala, founder of Mohammedans4UK, which promotes active Mohammedan engagement in British society, said the figures were "not implausible".

"It would mean that around one in 600 Britons is a convert to the faith," he said.

"Islam is a missionary religion and many Mohammedan organisations and particularly university students' Islamic societies have active outreach programmes designed to remove popular misconceptions about the faith." The report by Faith Matters also studied the way converts were portrayed by the media and found that while 32 per cent of articles on Islam published since 2001 were linked to terrorism or extremism, the figure jumped to 62 per cent with converts.

There are around 1.6 million Mohammedans in the UK, the majority from India and Pakistain.

#2  It was long ago noted that many of the "conversions" to Islam in Britain were of 2nd generation Pakistani young men, whose grasp of Islam is limited to "If you pray four times a day, you can do anything you want to non-Muslims."

That is, their parents became non-practicing when they came to Britain, and their sons are typical 2nd generation, neither old world or new, and prone to gangsterism. So they see Islam as a step up from being "nothing"--like joining a large gang, so that they will have "membership" in something, anything.

Its appeal to them is hedonism.

#4  And You never considered that the Imams would lie?

It's not lying when one's concept of number is one, two, and the many names of many.

/snark

More seriously, according to the article, current estimates of converts to Islam range from 14,000-100,000, whereas previous estimates ranged 14,000-25,000. And possibly up to 5,200 conversions per year. Which means it could be 500 -- this is all extrapolation using questionable assumptions from very fuzzy data.

I'm no statistician, but I'd be very uncomfortable even putting error bars around the data, never mind how wide. When they directly ask about conversions in the national census as compared to birth religion, then they'll have a better feel. Although, given Anonymoose's point, even such numbers will be an exaggeration, in the sense that cultural Muslims converted to gangster Muslims, not at all the same as believing Muslims... although only taqfiris accept the idea of converting from non-practicing to practicing -- to Islam both are Muslims, the former of whom will certainly go to hell.

[El Universal] Venezuela's economic recovery did not materialize in 2010. Not even a 27.5 percent increase in the price of Venezuelan oil compared to 2009 helped revive a number of economic sectors.

On the contrary, in 2009 recession prevailed. Venezuela's slowdown is a now a far cry from the 22 consecutive quarters of economic expansion in Gross Domestic Product between 2003 and 2008.

Throughout 2010, private sector spokesmen insisted that new barriers were set on local production, imports and sale of finished products in the domestic market. "The year ends with a declining industry that has been weakened as a result of wrong government policies," Carlos Larrazabal, the president of the Venezuelan Confederation of Industries (Conindustria) said in December.

At the beginning of 2010, the government announced a devaluation that moved the US dollar from VEB 2.15 to VEB 2.60 and VEB 4.30 per US dollar. The immediate effect was a change in cost structures and the establishment of a cumbersome exchange system.

In addition to these obstacles to get foreign exchange, Venezuela was affected by a power crisis in the first half of 2010. Last year was also characterized by expropriations. According to data released by Conindustria, the government seized 234 private companies in 2010.

Venezuela's GDP fell 1.9 percent, while trade and manufacturing shrank 6.3 percent and 4.2 percent, respectively.

Venezuela has no plans to "break relations" with the US
[El Universal] His Excellency President-for-Life, Caudillo of the Bolivarians Hugo Chavez told US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
... sometimes described as the Smartest Woman in the World and at other times as Mrs. Bill...
that "rectify is wise"
It must be a translation error. That statement has no apparent meaning.
during a brief meeting in Brazil in which they talked about Venezuela's rejection to Larry Palmer's nomination as the US ambassador to Caracas.

The report was published in Correo del Orinoco, a pro-government newspaper. It said that the president's statements were reported by a "Venezuelan government source, who witnessed the brief and informal conversation that Chavez and Clinton held on Saturday during the inauguration of Dilma Rousseff as president of Brazil," Efe reported.

According to the source, Chavez reiterated to Clinton that he is not planning "to break relations with the United States."
That's because they're already broken.
"It was a pleasant and unexpected meeting," the source said.

"Chavez is convinced that what Clinton did 'is a good sign,'" the government source added. He said that "everyone thought that Bernardo Alvarez would be expelled from the US, but they only revoked his visa."

"They sent a signal that is not bad," he insisted, as reported by Efe.

The source added that Chavez "believes" that "Republicans" are interested in causing a rift between Venezuela and the United States.

"Republicans have a plan to break relations, but this is not our plan. National interests must be placed above everything else," the unnamed Venezuelan official said.

Chinese Military Buildup Apparent Ahead of Gates Visit
BEIJING—The first clear pictures of what appears to be a Chinese stealth fighter prototype have been published online, highlighting China's military buildup just days before U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates heads to Bejiing to try to repair defense ties.

The photographs, published on several unofficial Chinese and foreign defense-related websites, appear to show a J-20 prototype making a high-speed taxi test—usually one of the last steps before an aircraft makes its first flight—according to experts on aviation and China's military.

Dupe URL: Halal KFC worker has a bacon-related meltdown

An employee at a Halal-friendly KFC restaurant in Sydney was suspended after he was videotaped screaming vicious insults and threats towards a customer.

The outburst happened on December 26, allegedly after a customer got upset after being refused bacon on their burger. One employee can be heard saying "we don't have bacon" before the other begins shouting.

"Don't record me bitch!" he yells while approaching the counter. "Don't f---ing record me!"

The employee continues to scream and hits the cash register display on its side, before other workers grab him and take him outside.

"I'm gonna f---in break your head bro," he says to the videotaper as he is led out of sight.

A KFC Australia spokesman said the employee had been suspended over the incident and offered counselling.

"KFC Australia strongly condemns the behaviour of the team member who appears in the clip and sincerely apologises for this very inappropriate reaction," he said.

But the spokesman also said the employee may have been harassed by the customer before his meltdown.

"As part of our continuing investigation, KFC has been offered statements from other customers who were in the store at the time," the spokesman said.

The video was put online by YouTube user "farkie", who wrote that the outburst stemmed from an argument over bacon.

"We asked for bacon on the burger, when we complained about there being no bacon," they wrote.

#1  KFC's "Double Down" promotion item contained bacon. The halal rule is: any cooking facility that was EVER used for haram foods, can NEVER be used by a carpet gyrater. Incidently, gyraters can't work a kitchen that isn't certified by an imam. I know: they do anyway, but - as the video proves - do so under extreme protest.

Reminder: religious minorities are being butchered in the gyrater tyrannies. Yet, they demand everything from we-the-civilized.

Great White North
Catholic school board found guilty of religious discrimination against UFO cult
The Ontario Human Rights Tribunal has ordered a Catholic school board to compensate three members of a prominent UFO cult after finding the board guilty of religious discrimination.

Daniel, Michel, and Sylvie Chabot, members of the Raelian cult, were hired in November 2006 by the Conseil Scolaire Catholique Franco-Nord to offer ‘emotional pedagogy’ training sessions for teachers. They delivered such sessions through what they call the Academy of Pleasurology and Emotional Intelligence (APEI).

The Catholic board chose to end the contract in January 2007 after discovering their membership in the cult, which claims that humans were planted on Earth by benevolent extraterrestrials.

On December 15th, Tribunal vice president Michelle Flaherty ruled that the board had discriminated against the three siblings on the basis of their beliefs. The parties had agreed to mediation, but asked the Tribunal to determine if the human rights code was violated. The decision does not reveal how much the board must pay in penalty.

The Raelian sect was founded by former French sports journalist Claude Vorilhon, now known as ‘Rael’, in 1973 after he claimed that he had an encounter with aliens. The cult is known for its strong support of human cloning, which is based on their belief that cloning will usher in a paradise where people live forever.

Daniel Chabot, who calls himself a bishop, said they have filed dozens of human rights complaints, but this is the first to side with them. “It took us 17 years of relentless battles and one case before a Human Rights Tribunal in Ontario to finally have our voices heard,” he stated in a press release. “This sentence was ironically delivered on Human Rights Day, December 10, 2010 and was, needless to say, a sweet victory.”

#3  Academy of Pleasurology and Emotional Intelligence

Seems like this should have been a giant red flag with horns blaring to the school board that these were Major Psychobabble Kooks, but the board itself must consist of similar kooks if they think their teachers need 'emotional pedagogy' training...

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Son of late Shah of Iran found dead in Boston
The 45-year-old son of the late shah of Iran died early this morning inside his South End home after he allegedly shot himself, according to law enforcement officials and a Web posting by his brother.

Prince Ali-Reza Pahlavi was found inside his West Newton Street home by Boston police around 2 a.m. today, according to police and the posting on rezapahlavi.org.

“It is with immense grief that we would like to inform our compatriots of the passing away of Prince Alireza Pahlavi,’’ according to the posting by his older brother, Reza Pahlavi. “Like millions of young Iranians, he too was deeply disturbed by all the ills fallen upon his beloved homeland, as well as carrying the burden of losing a father and a sister in his young life.’’

The posting continued, “although he struggled for years to overcome his sorrow, he finally succumbed, and during the night of the 4th of January 2011, in his Boston residence, took his own life, plunging his family and friends into great sorrow.’’

The statement added, “Once again, we are joined with mothers, father and relatives of so many victims of these dark times for our country.’’

Jake Wark, a spokesman for Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley, confirmed the identify of the body as Al-Rreza.

Home Front: Culture Wars
Internet Approaching TV As Primary News Source
The internet is quickly becoming Americans' main source of national and international news, according to a new Pew Research Center study published Tuesday.

While television still remains the most popular source for news, about 41 percent of Americans said they get most of their news from the internet, a 17 percent increase since 2007.

About 66 percent of people surveyed said they get most of their news from television, down from 74 percent in 2007.

But for people younger than 30, the internet surpassed television as the main source of national and international news -- the first time Pew has observed such a feat.

Since 2007, the number of 18- to 29-year-olds citing the internet as their main news source nearly doubled. Over the same period, the number of young people who cited television as their main news source dropped to 52 percent from 68 percent.
And we can thank Fred and Rantburg for helping put the final nails in the MSM's coffin. Speaking of which, I need to hit the tipjar soon.
To be fair, most of the reportage found at Rantburg comes from the mainstream media of one country or another. Mostly not American though.

Rifqa Barry: "A professional organization for lawyers..."
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A professional organization for lawyers has filed a complaint alleging misconduct by the former attorney of an Ohio teen who ran away to Florida after converting from Islam to Christianity.

The complaint alleges Orlando, Fla., lawyer John Stemberger accused the attorney for the girl's parents of being paid by groups with terrorist ties based solely on information from Facebook and a blog.

The complaint provided to The Associated Press on Tuesday also says Stemberger appeared on TV as an attorney for the teenager after he stopped representing her.

The Florida Bar says its complaint was mailed to the Florida Supreme Court on Monday.

Stemberger and his attorney did not immediately return messages for comment.

Possible penalties range from a reprimand to disbarment.
Getting to the bottom of this latest stunt will most likely expose Islamist's/CAIR's continuous assault on the American Justice System, religious freedom, and other non-Sharia aspects of America.
