Security Ministry And Police Chief Deny Seizure Of Parliament Building
[RADIOSHABELLE] Somalia’s Security Ministry and the Police force commander-in-chief denied that the military has seized parliament building in Mogadishu on Friday evening.

Speaking at a joint news conference, Hassan Moalim, the state Minister of security for the Ministry of security said extra police to the parliament compound to beef up security.

For his part, General Bashir Abdi, the commander of Somali Police force said they sent Birmad forces to the site to join the previous soldiers in the protection of the building.

This latest development followed last week’s controversial motion of no confidence against Mohammed Osman Jawari, the speaker of the Lower House chamber of Somali parliament.

While speaking to news hounds at his office last night, Jawari accused PM Hassan Ali Khaire of ordering the army to seize Parliament building amid new Political Crisis Deepens.

Kenyan Police Given OK To Hold Suspects In Nairobi Courthouse Plot
[RADIOSHABELLE] A court ruled Friday that Kenyan police can continue detaining five people who allegedly planned to attack a Nairobi courthouse so a Moslem holy man facing terror charges could escape.

Police accuse the suspects and the holy man of being members of the al-Qaeda-linked al-Shabaab
... Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda...
holy warrior group from Somalia that has vowed vengeance on Kenya for sending troops into Somalia to fight the holy warriors.

The Anti-Terrorism Police Unit said the suspects plotted to attack the Milimani Laws Courts building in the capital on Feb. 16, when Sheik Guyo Gorsa was expected to appear on terrorism and related charges.

Gorsa, a Moslem religious leader, was placed in durance vile
Yez got nuttin' on me, coppers! Nuttin'!
in January in Marsabit County. After his arrest, local residents destroyed a Roman Catholic church and a bank.

The court ruled Friday that the five suspects could be held for another 30 days.

Police say the suspects were arrested in mid-February after officers spotted a vehicle loaded with explosives and weapons hidden in a thicket in the county of Isiolo. The report says officers were shot at when they approached the vehicle and they returned fire, killing one suspect.

Two other people were arrested at the scene, and authorities say the vehicle was found to be rigged as a bomb with 176 pounds (80 kilograms) of TNT. Police also removed five rifles, 36 loaded magazines, 36 unprimed hand grenades and 18 improvised bombs, authorities say.

Al-Shabaab has vowed to strike at Kenya for deploying troops to Somalia in 2011 to fight the holy warriors, who were threatening to topple Somalia’s weak government. The group has grabbed credit for numerous attacks in Kenya, including the September 2013 assault on the Westgate Mall that killed 67 people and the April 2015 attack on Garissa University that caused 150 deaths, the majority of the students.

Britain
Iraqi teenager found guilty of carrying out London train bombing
[DAWN] An Iraqi teenager, who had come to Britannia as an asylum seeker, was found guilty on Friday of attempted murder after detonating a homemade bomb on a packed rush-hour London commuter train, injuring 30 people, prosecutors and police said.

Ahmed Hassan, 18,
...the admitted manipulative liar who told the court his full name is Ahmed Hassan Mohammad Ali, and at eighteen is now old enough to be diagnosed as a psychopath...
was found guilty of trying to murder the passengers on board an underground train heading to central London on Sept 15 last year, prosecutors said.

The bomb went off at Parsons Green station and flames engulfed the carriage, but it did not fully explode, limiting the scale of injuries in what authorities said was Britannia’s fifth major attack of 2017.

"It was only a matter of luck that the device did not work as he intended or it could easily have led to the loss of innocent lives," said Sue Hemming from Britannia’s Crown Prosecution Service.

Hassan, who the court heard had spoken of his duty to hate Britannia because of the deaths of his parents in Iraq, had been placed under Britannia’s counter-radicalisation programme at the time.

"He was very cunning and devious," Dean Haydon, the head of London Police’s Counter Terrorism Command told BBC TV.

"On the face of it, Hassan was engaged on the programme. But coming back to his devious nature, he kept it very secretive in relation to what he was doing, what he was planning, and nobody around him actually knew what his plot was." Haydon said a review of the counter-radicalisation programme would now be undertaken.

On the day of the attack, the teenager left his foster home in Sunbury-on-Thames in west London and set the timer for the device, made with the highly volatile triacetone triperoxide.

Why did Home Office place Iraqi refugee – who became Parsons Green bomber - with foster family even though he was trained by jihadis and hated Britain?

  • Asylum seeker faces life in jail after conviction over trying to kill 93 commuters

  • Hassan was never referred to MI5 despite being seen donating to IS and declaring it was his 'duty to hate Britain'

Kurds protest in Germany against Turkish gov't, 3 arrested
[Ynet] German authorities say three people have been tossed in the clink
Don't shoot, coppers! I'm comin' out!
in the northern city of Hannover when Kurdish demonstrators protesting Ottoman Turkish military attacks in northern Syria clashed with police.

The dpa news agency reported that some of the estimated 11,000 protesters threw plastic bottles at police Saturday and threatened them with the flagpoles they were waving.

The demonstrators were also protesting German arms sales to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
and rolled their eyes, jumped up and down, and hollered poorly rhymed slogans real loud like "German tanks out of Kurdistan!" and called Ottoman Turkish President Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey...
a "terrorist."

No incidents were reported at smaller demonstrations in Cologne
...the largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia and the fourth populated city in Germany....
and Wuppertal.

Some demonstrators waved flags showing the leader of the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party, known as the PKK, and police say they are evaluating videos to see if they can determine their identity.

Toll in Qila Saifullah blast rises to six
[DAWN] Death toll in Thursday night’s kaboom in Qila Saifullah has increased to six as officials have found four more bodies in the debris of the house which was destroyed in the powerful kaboom.

Official sources said on Friday that the blast took place in the house of 71-year-old holy man Maulvi Abdul Jogezai.
Explosion -> Holy man's house. You surprised?
He was the first victim of the blast whose body was recovered from the destroyed house on Thursday night, followed by the recovery of another body. All the victims belonged to the same family.

"The blast took place when the victims were unloading firewood from a tractor-trolley parked in the courtyard of the house," Balochistan
...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
Home Secretary Ghulam Ali Baloch told Dawn.

"It seems that explosives placed under the firewood went off," he added.

An official of Qila Saifullah district administration said that most of the bodies were found in pieces, adding that they were shifted to the District Hospital for identification.

Personnel of the bomb disposal squad (BDS) visited the blast site and collected evidence that suggested that the kaboom took place inside the house. "Around 1,200kg explosives went off while the victims were unloading firewood from the tractor trolley. The explosives had been placed under firewood," a BDS official said.

Iraq
Kurdish MP rejects Turkish military operations in Iraq, terms Erdoğan as dictator
Erbil (Iraqinews.com) ‐ A Kurdish politician has rejected any Ottoman Turkish military operations in Iraq, stressing that Ottoman Turkish President Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey...
is nothing but an "authoritarian dictator", who does not represent the Ottoman Turkish people.

In statements to Alsumaria News on Saturday, MP Abdel Aziz Hassan warned that any interaction between the Iraqi and Ottoman Turkish governments could "stir up more troubles in the region," hence he advised the federal government in Baghdad not to allow any Ottoman Turkish troops in the country.

"It is not true that fighting the Kurds is a common denominator of both the Ottoman Turkish and Iraqi governments, and whoever thinks so is just wrong," Hassan reiterated.

The Kurdish MP further described Ottoman Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as "an authoritarian dictator, who represents nobody but his Islamic krazed killer party."

"Erdogan sees himself as Moslem caliph and a defender of the Sunni communities in the world, forgetting a fact that he is president of a state that is supposed to be civilized," he concluded.

Last week, Ottoman Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu stressed that The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
will conduct a joint operation with Iraq against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the country.

Cavusoglu said the military operation will be launched following the upcoming parliamentary elections, slated for May, in Iraq even "if the Afrin operation has not yet been completed."
At what point does Turkey's pending Civil War look like Syria.

Hamas shuts Qatari cell provider in Gaza after convoy attack
[Ynet] Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,'s security forces shut down Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
i-Paleostinian cell phone carrier's Gazoo offices, citing their refusal to cooperate in probe into attempt on life of Paleostinian PM Hamdallah.

Gazoo's Hamas rulers have shut the offices of a Qatari-Paleostinian cellular provider in connection with its investigation into an kaboom that targeted the visiting Paleostinian prime minister.

Hamas police front man Ayman Batniji said Saturday that Wataniya Mobile, a subsidiary of Qatar's Ooredoo, was being closed down for "refusing to cooperate" in the inquiry.

A Paleostinian source familiar with the details of the investigation told Ynet noted that the probe found that the snuffies used the lines of Paleostinian cellular communications companies Wataniya Mobile and Jawwal to carry out the attack‐apparently using a mobile phone to activate the explosive charges.

Initially, a roadside kaboom struck a convoy carrying Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah earlier this week after he crossed into Gazoo from Israel, wounding some of his bodyguards. Local reports say a second bomb that failed to detonate contained a Wataniya SIM card.

Hamdallah's West Bank-based Paleostinian Authority held Hamas responsible for the attack. Hamas, which overthrew PA forces in 2007 to seize control of Gazoo, rejected the accusation and appears to be looking to shift blame to others.

Details of the failed hit led to the conclusion that a technical failure prevented a second bomb from exploding. According to reports, the weight of each of the two charges was 15 kilograms, and they were placed 40 meters apart.

Hamdallah was visiting the Gazoo Strip accompanied by Paleostinian General Intelligence chief Majid Faraj. The kaboom took place on Saladin Street, a main thoroughfare in the Gazoo town of Beit Hanoun.

An bomb operated by a timer wasp purportedly planted on the bottom of a light post on the side of the road. Several security guards were maimed in the kaboom.

Minutes after the blast, Hamdallah, appearing unhurt, delivered a speech at an inauguration of a new sewage purification facility in the northern Gazoo Strip, stressing the attack "will not deter (us‐ed) from seeking to end the bitter split" and that Fatah will continue coming to the strip to try to end divisions with Hamas.

Brigadier General Jonathan Braga on the Russians Killed
[thedrive] Brigadier General Jonathan Braga, director of operations for the main U.S. military task force in charge of operations in Iraq and Syria, said he feared the situation could have escalated into an all-out conflict with Russia.

A candid discussion with reporters.

#1  Braga seems to fear that another Russian-backed attack could easily come in the future. “I don’t think that’s healthy for de-escalation,” he told NBC's Engel, referring to the pro-Syrian forces still situated very close to American and SDF positions.

The warning shot may have already been fired in Salisbury, UK. Notice each incident of WMD attack in Syria (and there have been many) is met with categorical denial by Assad and the Russians.

I fear it is not over. These are ruthless bastards.

#3  Why would the side thats winning the war use chemical weapons that'd invite retaliation? Assad along with the Iranians and Russians don't need need to go chemical to mop up the rest of Syria at this point in time. If anything it was when Assad was on the ropes prior to Russian involvement that he'd of used them and he very well may of. This reeks of a false flag attack at this point in the game.

#4  Be thankful it wasn't me doing the press conference.

I'd have done all of those lines from "The Hunt For Red October."

"This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it."

"The Russians don't take a dump without having a plan..."

Iran Relocates Radar and Expands UAV Airfield on Qeshm
[BellingCat] Iran continues to upgrade the UAV airfield on the island of Qeshm which sits near the Strait of Hormuz, an important maritime choke-point. Satellite imagery acquired in late 2017 and early 2018 by Planet shows workers widening and lengthening the airfield’s runway. The clearing and leveling activity suggests Iran will add a further 13 meters in width and approximately 350 meters in length. The overall runway length will likely exceed 2,000 meters.

#1  Was the 'Squat Eye' moved as part of the runway improvements or because it was interfering with the launch/flight control systems?

The trenching may also be used to extend fueling capability.
