[Mail] Jeffrey Epstein sexually abused and trafficked hundreds of girls and young women on his private Caribbean island as recently as 2018 and had a database to keep track of their availability, according to a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The lawsuit, filed against the millionaire pedophile's estate on Wednesday, claims Epstein used his two private islands in the U.S. territory to engage in a nearly two-decade conspiracy to traffic and abuse girls as young as 11 or 12.
Many of the victims were allegedly aspiring models from South America and he used fake modelling visas to fly them across international borders to his two islands - known as Little Saint James and Great Saint James - the lawsuit claims.
Epstein used associates to rotate the victims and he allegedly had a computerised database that he used to track the availability of the girls and women.
At one point, the suit alleges, Epstein and his associates organised a search party to catch a 15-year-old victim trying to swim away after she was forced to engage in sex acts with him.
The girl's passport was confiscated by Epstein in order to hold her captive, the lawsuit claims.
Air traffic controllers in the region also spotted Epstein exiting a private plane with young girls as recently as 2018, according to the lawsuit.

So, his mistake was not converting to Islam and living in the UK? I guess there was less of an opportunity to entertain movers and shakers for some information management.

Since Epstein was obviously too busy to maintain the database himself, he must have contracted out, but would have had concerns about "skimming". I can see the want ads now: Wanted: Oracle Programmer/Data Entry. Castration a plus.
[Mil.com] Last November, we asked readers to help World War II veteran 2nd Lt. Willie Evelyn Webster celebrate her 100th birthday on Dec. 14 by sending cards and letters. Many of you have asked how the celebration turned out, and we're happy to share the news.
Evelyn (married name Tucker) received thousands of cards (some are still trickling in) and enjoyed a birthday party with more than 30 family members from across the country in attendance. Let's get the details from her daughter Mary Spence:
"Be careful what you wish for. We hoped for 100 cards and received over 2,800, which was a little overwhelming (but welcomed!)," Spence said. "Mom read and enjoyed each and every one of the cards. She'd like to say thank you to everyone for helping her celebrate her birthday. I think she became a holiday project for a lot of school classrooms from kindergartners to high school students. It was so sweet reading their cards. She received cards from every state and many from different countries around the world. She received a full-size quilt from the Llano, Texas, Quilts of Valor and a lap quilt from a lady in California. People shared stories of their own family members that served in World War II. It was truly amazing!"
[DAWN] After nearly two years of conflict between the world’s two dominant economic powers, the United States and China signed a trade truce on Wednesday, letting businesses around the globe breathe a sigh of relief.
US President Donald Trump ...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party... , who currently faces an impeachment trial and then a tough reelection bid later this year, called the agreement "momentous." But tariffs on hundreds of billions of dollars in imports remain in place, leaving American consumers and businesses to foot the bill.
The "phase one" agreement includes pledges from China to beef up purchases of American crops and other exports, provides protections for US technology, and new enforcement mechanisms.
"Today, we take a momentous step, one that’s never taken before with China," that will ensure "fair and reciprocal trade," Trump said at the White House signing ceremony.
"Together, we are righting the wrongs of the past." As Trump ambled through a lengthy commentary on the deal, punctuated by introductions of many officials involved in the negotiations, major networks switched away from the White House to the Congress to show the presentation of articles of impeachment in the Senate as the first step towards a trial.

[AnNahar] La Belle France's longest continuous transport strike contesting proposed pension reforms has shaved up to 0.1 percentage points off fourth-quarter growth in 2019, the central bank said Wednesday, as the showdown entered its 42nd day.
The effect has already been factored into the overall growth forecast of 0.2 percent for the final quarter, Banque de La Belle France governor Francois Villeroy de Galhau told a parliamentary finance committee.
An estimated 10 percent of businesses, mainly in the hotel, restaurant and transport industries have been affected by the stoppage, he said, but declined to comment on the disruptive labour action's potential impact on the economy in 2020.
De Galhau described the economic impact of the strike, which began on December 5, as "limited", but said this did not "diminish in any way the real discomfort suffered by millions of our fellow citizens, employees and merchants."
The effects would vary, he added, between companies, economic sectors, and even geographic regions.
Gay Pareeians have borne the brunt of the strike led by train, metro and bus drivers protesting the loss of early retirement privileges under the pension overhaul.
For weeks, the vast majority of Gay Paree metro lines were closed or virtually unusable, suburban train numbers were slashed, and thousands of French people saw their December holiday plans dashed as regional and inter-city trains were cancelled.
Businesses complained of turnover losses of as much as 50 percent as the transport shortage kept clients away, especially damaging over the usually busy Christmas shopping season.
- NEW BLOCKADES -
With about one in five train drivers still on strike by Wednesday, according to the SNCF rail agency, public transport in Gay Paree has started to improve, although commuters are still confronted by overflowing buses and train carriages and many continue walking or cycling long distances instead.
The government wants to merge 42 existing pension plans into a single, points-based system it insists will be fairer and more transparent, but which unions claim will cause millions to work longer for smaller retirement payouts.
A sixth day of mass demonstrations against the reform has been called for Thursday, and on Wednesday strikers blocked a nuclear power station in the north of La Belle France and a waste treatment centre outside Gay Paree to show they are not yet ready to budge.
Over the weekend, the government offered to drop the most contentious element of the overhaul: a "pivot age" of 64 until which people would work to qualify for a full pension -- two years beyond the official retirement age.
The Banque de La Belle France last week forecast overall growth of 1.3 percent for the French economy for 2019, followed by a lower 1.1 percent in 2020.
[DAWN] An accountability court on Wednesday extended the remand of two detained builders for 14 more days in connection with a probe into reports of fraud in the Fazaia Housing Scheme Bloody Karachi ...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... (FHSK).
During the hearing today, the court was informed about how the land was acquired in the name of ’shuhada (deaders) and war heroes’, but hardly any units were allotted to the same. The investigation officer also highlighted how some Pakistain Air Force (PAF) officials had lured their own peers into purchasing housing units and made millions in the process.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had arrested Tanveer Ahmed and Bilal Tanveer, said to be associated with Maxim Properties, for allegedly depriving the public of Rs18 billion through investments in the FHSK.
On Wednesday, the investigating officer of the case, Aslam Pervez Abro, produced both the suspects before the administrative judge of the accountability courts, Fariq Anwar Qazi, and sought extension in their physical custody for further interrogation and investigation.
The IO submitted a progress report, stating that during the course of interrogation further evidence had come on record that both the suspects were involved in cheating the public on the lam in the FHSK in connivance with officials of the PAF.
Blatant violation of laws
"In execution and launching of the FHSK, the suspects blatantly flouted the relevant government laws and carried out advertisement, sale, development and booking without getting approval of its layout plan from the Malir Development Authority and No-Objection Certificate from the Sindh Building Control Authority," the report states.
The report, a copy of which is available with Dawn.com, adds that the suspects "got the land of the project illegally consolidated/ adjusted/ exchanged with the MDA through a letter dated June 19, 2015, which was subsequently cancelled by the MDA on July 7, 2015". Yet, they illegally occupied the government land by erecting a boundary wall around the project site and carried out construction work, it adds.

[DAWN] The Election Commission of Pakistain (ECP) is set to suspend the membership of more than 300 politicians as they failed to submit annual statements of their assets and liabilities with it by the last date under a law amended by them to their convenience.
The law requires all the politicians to submit statements of their own assets, those of their spouse and dependent children with the ECP each year.
Before the enactment of the Elections Act, 2017, the last date prescribed for the purpose was Sept 30 and the ECP had the powers to suspend membership of those failing to meet the mandatory requirement by Oct 15.
Later the law was amended in the name of electoral reforms to extend the deadline to December 31. But a grace period of 15 days practically means their membership will not be suspended before Jan 16.
Section 137 of the Elections Act reads: (1) Every Member of an Assembly and Senate shall submit to the Commission, on or before 31st December each year, a copy of his statement of assets and liabilities including assets and liabilities of his spouse and dependent children as on the preceding thirtieth day of June on Form B. (2) The Commission, on the first day of January each year through a blurb, shall publish the names of Members who failed to submit the requisite statement of assets and liabilities within the period specified under subsection (1).

The study, conducted by the Texas Department of Public Safety, looked at the domestic terrorism impacting the state and the country at large
Most domestic terrorism in the state falls under 'racially motivated, anti-government and single-issue'
Study specifically mentions incels Brian Isaack Clyde, Scott Paul Beierle, Alek Minassian, Christopher Harper-Mercer and Elliot Rodger
While most single issue actors are known for attacking property, the study noted that incels are one of the few groups that this isn't always the case
According to the study, involuntary celibate actors 'blame women and society for their failures to develop intimate relationships'
'Many advocate the use of violence against persons, both women and men, they perceive to be successfully engaging in such relationships,' the study reads

Ostracism of lesser males has long been a trait of primates. Sad we're not over it by now, but lesser males make a lot of people feel freaked out. Used to be we would dispose of them as cannon fodder, but now they're stacking up.

So what are their plan - wild west style whorehouses?

It's about being accepted and loved by other humans. Whores aren't the answer.
Remember when the media told us that the Joker movie was going to result in mass incel shootings? Turns out they were full of shit. The movie actually showed how the media contribute to the problem.

Modest proposal(s): Stop demonizing boys generally and non-athletic / non-college bound boys in particular.
Restore vocational education and make it a real, viable, well-designed and managed career path that leads to the kind of employment a young person can rely upon to start and provide for a family.
And get young men out of their rooms, away from screens and into altruistic, mission-driven patriotic and/or religious youth organizations that put Service before Self.
#7
I think incel is more of an insult than any kind of organized group. Reminds me of the satanic panic of the 80s in that I don't think there is much base for any of this. Government folks looking for the next villains (because they can't look into mosques).

^ Arts and cultural organizations work, too. Performing arts ensembles are excellent vehicles for bringing a young person into a fulfilling, uplifting group of like-minded people seeking to achieve something difficult but beautiful and inspiring.
Also, pay young people to read good books -- the old wisdom books of our culture. Maybe $5 for every book > 300 pages and > than 100 years old.
This busybody nanny-inspired, fake "terrorist" crisis is the spiritual daughter of Tipper Gore and her 1980s-era demonization of heavy metal and video games. Reached a fever pitch around 1995, after which Netscape IPO'd, the media and pop culture moved on to Greed and the Internet, and everyone forgot Cobain and goths.
Until Columbine, after which all this BS and shite pseudo-psychologizing kicked in again.
God save us from academic psychology and crap sociology. Those are the most degraded academic fields outside of the Identity Studies fields.
We know how to rescue troubled young people. We've known how at least since the time Saul became Paul. Not easy but also not complicated: love, faith, creativity, service before self.

The problem is that young men can’t go to Mexico anymore to take care of their needs without getting killed by the cartel scum. Used to be a right of passage here.

What's next - you gonna tell me 'climate change is real?' Talk about a complete invention of an issue to clutch pearls over, like all the transgender bullshit.

How To Make Young Men Miserable and Resentful, in Nine Easy Steps:
1. Label as "toxic" their natural love of danger, their inclination toward risk and desire to be bold and valorous.
2. Eliminate from the literary canon all writers who praise unapologetic masculinity and/or the western heritage - Hemingway, Kipling, Chesterton, Tolstoy et al - and replace them with second-rate shitty sob sister stories of racial grievance and feminist resentment.
3. Fill the teaching ranks with pansies and disapproving, Ratchitt-style feminist scolds.
4. Eliminate vocational education and training, and instead tell everyone to go to college -- regardless of their aptitude for or inclination toward abstract thought and academic research.
5. Order the colleges to create Kangaroo Courts in which young men will have their entire lives destroyed as a malicious cabal of witches bears false witness against an accused who's allowed no defense.
6. For those young men who go down the STEM professional track, make "diversity and inclusion" a requirement of ritual obeisance, and set aside large numbers of places for demonstrably inferior female and minority applicants to medicine, engineering and the sciences.
7. Increase the divorce rate until its close to 50% so that at least half your young men grow up without the continuous presence of a loving and engaged father.
8. Create a corporate and professional culture that destroys any sensible work-life balance, with the same result as #6 above.
9. Flood the media space with nonstop bullshit about a mythical "war on women" and bring obscene, ridiculous, patently false accusations of rape against one of the nation's most admired and accomplished jurists.
#14
10. Destroy the Boy Scouts by filling the ranks with fags and trannies. Rename it "Scouts" so as to scrub it of all taint of association with maleness.

Or, Lex, maybe 3 years in the Marine Corps?

Of those who marry — a key point in this time of out-of-wedlock parenting — it is not that half of those marry divorce, but that perhaps a quarter try multiple times. That one woman I know who is looking for her eighth husband in two decades, the couple where he is husband number five and she is wife number three, they offset a bunch of first marriages that last.
But whether the household churning is formal or informal, there are an awful lot of boys who don’t have anyone modelling how to be a successful man, and an awful lot of girls who don’t know enough to want one.

Yeah, I've been single since divorcing from my Russian wife in 2004. I've had a Chinese GF for 7 years but not in a hurry to get married. I don't want to be the first guy in the family with ex-wives from America, Russia, and China. Or maybe I do?

Sounds like the marital version of 1984, Beau:
At this moment, for example, in 1984 (if it was 1984), Oceania was at war with Eurasia and in alliance with Eastasia. In no public or private utterance was it ever admitted that the three powers had at any time been grouped along different lines.
Hey Brad and Jen are getting hitched, so maybe Angie's available?

As for simply educating young men in the Western canon, etc.-- that's fine, but has anyone noticed that the left is going after Prager U?
Prager presents knowledge in a positive, calm, almost anodyne way and even that is enough to give the left the vapors.
If the left will go after them, they'll go after anyone, all appeals to reason be damned.
I haven't the foggiest idea of how it could be done, but it seems to me that the Right needs to get better at gaining, keeping and expanding power -- which is one of the few things the left is good at.
History shows that no amount of reason or logic will divert malevolent power from its path.

The Good Men Project--a feminist on line mag--occasionally has a sensible piece. "Sold this man a bill of goods" is one.
Guys are told...be considerate, generous, kind, thoughtful. Women like that, respond to it. So guys who can't attract women by looks, status, "presence", etc think they can still as they've been told women like. But because they really aren't attractive; physically, don't know from hygiene, are creeps, don't know boundaries, don't have any talent or ambition, etc. they don't make any progress. Sucks to be them. But they've been told that the big four work. Guaranteed. But they don't. And the guys think they've been defrauded. It's not solely a matter of not being able to get a date. Or get laid. It's a not particularly subtle sense they're turning women OFF plus betrayal. Hence the anger.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
