[LIBYAREVIEW] The Military Prosecutor’s Office, which is part of the Ministry of Defence of the Government of National Accord (GNA), allowed Muhammad Haitham, the former Chairman of the Military Medicine Authority, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health to travel to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... , despite an ongoing investigation on his alleged misuse of public funds and corruption.
Muhammad Grouda, a member of the prosecution from the Military Prosecutor’s office, sent a letter to the Passports, Nationality, and Foreigners Affairs Authority, allowing Haitham to leave Libya for Turkey via Mitiga Airport.
Libyan sources said on Friday that "a force affiliated with the Special Deterrence Force militia led by Muhammad Wafa, known as al-Harba, attacked Haitham’s residence to capture him, but his guards confronted them.
The sources indicated an armed clash took place between the two sides, which resulted in the injury of the commander of the attacking group and the killing of the militiaman, Abu Bakr Buzheir, in addition to the killing and wounding of several Haitham’s guards.
On 20 August, the Military Prosecutor’s Office, part of the GNA Ministry of Defence, issued a travel ban for seven individuals including the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health. This decision is due to the ongoing investigations related to financial abuse in the military medical system and the wasting of public money meant to fight the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. [LIBYAREVIEW] On Sunday, the Prime Minister of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Fayez al-Sarraj, held a meeting with a delegation of mayors from Libyan municipalities.
The delegation included mayors of the municipalities of Zintan, Msallata, Gharyan, Zahraa, El Azizia, Nalut, Hay Al Andalus, Abu Salim.
During the meeting, the municipalities reiterated their support to the GNA and the importance of joining their hands in addressing the current critical stage experienced by the country.
They also called on al-Sarraj to carry out administrative and economic reforms in order to modernise services, improve citizens’ standard of living, and activate the local administration system.
On his part, the GNA Prime Minister welcomed the mayors of the municipalities and stressed the importance of their role in supporting state stability, noting that the Presidential Council will continue to carry out its duties in meeting all demands of the Libyan people and carrying out reforms in all aspects and in various fields.

Per Rome Statute Article 7, hostage-taking is considered to be enforced disappearance and remains a crime against humanity.
The Committee also reminds all parties to the conflict that, according to Article 1, paragraph 1, of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance, "no person shall be subjected to enforced disappearance, whether concerning a state of war, threat of war, internal political instability, or any other exceptional situation to justify enforced disappearance. "

[New York Post] Moving trucks were out in force on Manhattan’s Upper West Side on Saturday — leaving Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa practically tripping over them.
“The mass evacuation of Upper West Siders from NYC is in full effect,” Sliwa, who lives on W. 87th Street, lamented, blaming the city’s decision this summer to house hundreds of emotionally disturbed homeless and recovering addicts in neighborhood hotels.
A mayoral candidate, Sliwa has been organizing and often leading Guardian Angels patrols of the area.
Oh? Hopefully he wins by a landslide, followed by sweeping changes.
“They were stacked up,” Sliwa told The Post of the four trucks he saw as he took a morning walk on Saturday.
Stopping at each truck, he was told each was heading out of state.
No sooner had Sliwa stepped out of his apartment building — where nine out of the 12 units are empty — than he saw the first moving truck of the morning.
It was the eighth truck he’s seen on his block in less than two weeks. Does he live in Fayette County, Georgia ?
“The moment I walked out on my block, near Central Park West, there was a moving truck. I asked where you going, and they said, ‘Virginia,'” he said.
“They told me, ‘Curtis, first the pandemic hit us and now the quality of life is so bad'” Sliwa said.
“The woman was almost crying. They said they survived the ’70s,” as a young couple in the then-high crime neighborhood. “But then in a month, in July, the neighborhood was destroyed.”
On his way to his local deli at West 87th Street and Columbus Avenue, he saw the second truck.
“They were heading to Concord, New Hampshire,” Sliwa said.
The third truck was nearby, on Columbus at West 84th Street.
“They were moving to Tennessee. The driver told me ‘We’re working morning, noon and night’ to move people out of state.”
The fourth truck was at W. 75th and Central Park West.
“It was a young family,” a mom and dad, and a little boy and girl.
“They were moving themselves down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina,” Sliwa said.
“They said in the last month, there have been so many disturbed people in the streets, aggressively panhandling, defecating, urinating — they leave the hotels and have no bathrooms to use,” Sliwa said of the new homeless neighbors, who he believes are also victims.
“These are the people who elected de Blasio, who live here,” Sliwa said. “It’s a progressive, liberal neighborhood. And now there’s a visceral hate here for him — the feeling that he has virtually singlehandedly destroyed this city.”
Not only are they leaving, but come election day they won’t be around to vote for Mr. Sliwa.

Syrian Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad Despoiler of Deraa... issues a decree appointing a new cabinet without changing the heads of so-called "sovereign" portfolios, days after confirming Hussein Arnous as the country’s premier.
The decree, published on the presidency’s social media channels, keeps the heads of the foreign affairs, defense, interior, economy and information ministries in their posts but changes those in charge of 12 other cabinet portfolios, including the ministries of finance, energy and public health.
