I don't know why, but it makes me think of a writing a story. About some Minutemen types building a time machine in the early 1900s, coming to the future and taking back Angela Merkel with them.
[Just the News] The U.S. Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement says it has filed nearly a dozen immigration detainers against suspects in a multi-state sex trafficking scheme involving a 13-year-old girl, with the individuals in question reportedly being members of or connected to the notorious Central American gang MS-13.
The department said Monday on its website that it had "placed immigration detainers on 10 individuals arrested by the FBI for sex trafficking or physical assault of a minor."
The suspects are implicated in the kidnapping, sex trafficking and violent assault of a runaway 13-year-old girl, with ICE saying that the girl was sold into sexual slavery in Maryland and Virginia, and that she was also beaten with a baseball bat several times.

Amazing that the USA is stealing money and most feel it's a great thing??
Quick, Ulerert Ebbavith7568, name one innocent reason someone would anonymously ship tens of millions of dollars in undeclared cash to an offshore account. Not something I would find underneath the couch cushions, but perhaps you live differently.
The Afghan government released nearly 200 Taliban prisoners to spur the start of long-delayed peace negotiations, senior Afghan officials said on Wednesday.https://t.co/cmqyAgWU4C
[KhaamaPress] The High Council for National Reconciliation (HCNC) says the prisoner’s exchange between the Afghan government and the Taliban ...Arabic for students... is set to be completed today and an Afghan government delegation will travel to Doha tomorrow.
Fraidoon Khwazoon, a front man to the council told Khaama Press, that all the remaining Taliban prisoners will be released by the Afghan government today, and a delegation from the Afghan government is scheduled to travel to Doha by tonight or tomorrow morning.
Khwazoon did not share further details about the prisoner’s release process, but early sources have told media that the Afghan government has so far released 200 Taliban in the past few days, and 4 Afghan National Commandos have been freed by the Taliban.
According to reports, the Afghan government and Taliban had agreed upon the release of 50 Taliban in exchange for one Afghan commando.
Sources also pointed at around 180 remaining Taliban detainees who will be released by today, but some other sources have indicated, the release of 100 Taliban detainees, which will include freedom of 2 other commandos from the Taliban side will happen today.
Delays in the bilateral prisoner’s release process were cited as the biggest obstacle in Intra-Afghan Talks to begin.

...leaving all the more space for Al Qaeda to expand. Yay.
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS) suffered a devastating blow in central Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... , as their long-time presence in the al-Bayda Governorate was put to an end by the Ansarallah Movement,
Over the last month, the Ansarallah Movement has been on the offensive against ISIS and the al-Qaeda of the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) forces, gradually capturing areas in al-Bayda that had long been occupied by the terrorist groups.
One of the final blows to ISIS in al-Bayda came when the Ansarallah Movement killed the leader of the terrorist group in Yemen; this was highlighted in a video released by the group in August.
For ISIS, they will likely resort to the use of sleeper cells in al-Bayda, which is something they currently do inside Syria, Libya, and Iraq.
Meanwhile, ...back at the wrecked scow, Agent 49 felt gingerly for his head. It was still there. He had been hoping differently... the Ansarallah forces are eyeing the Marib Governorate’s administrative capital, which, if captured, would be one of the most important victories for the movement since the start of the Yemeni conflict.

[ALMASDARNEWS] Several Telegram channels have reported that about 500 Ottoman Turkish-backed troops previously stationed in Syria, namely fighters belonging to the Sultan Murad Division, the Free Syrian Army ... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund... and Hamzat, have been deployed to Azerbaijan.
Nezavisimaya Gazeta’s sources note that this information is pending confirmation, however, it is likely to be genuine. Baku held a protest several days earlier, calling on The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...Qatar's satrapy in Asia Minor... "to save Azerbaijan from the Armenians and the Russians."
They called on the government to place a Ottoman Turkish military base on the territory of Azerbaijan and take Dire Revenge for the July festivities on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
Ottoman Turkish TV showed footage from the demonstration, which later was picked up by several Russian media outlets.
There is no official response from Moscow regarding this matter, and it is unclear whether Baku had allowed this protest to take place. Igor Dimitriev, an expert on the region, said on his Telegram channel that "the Turks have de facto built a military base in Azerbaijan."
"There are rumors going around claiming that after the drills [large-scale Azerbaijani-Ottoman Turkish drills held in July-August 2020 — newspaper], Turkey left some of its troops in Azerbaijan, including F-16 jets with personnel in addition to a unit of Ottoman Turkish drones," the expert said.
Telman Abilov, who heads the Azerbaijani organization "Military Lawyers" thinks that an escalation of tensions on the border with Armenia may be related to gas shipments.
"The escalation took place right after Turkey had reduced its purchase of Russian gas to a minimum. At the same time, Ankara has diversified its energy sources, namely by buying Azeri gas.
On the other hand, Azerbaijani gas is set to enter the southern European market, where it will compete with Russian gas," he said. Dimitriev wrote on Telegram that there is an opinion held by some Azerbaijanis that "the Russian-Armenian invasion seeks to undermine the construction of a transport corridor between the Caspian and Black Seas."
Military commentator Shamil Gareev told the paper that Moscow is likely to be concerned with Turkey’s expanded presence in the Middle East more than with the gas corridor, as Turkey is a NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A collection of multinational and multilingual and multicultural armed forces, all of differing capabilities, working toward a common goal by pulling in different directions... state with the second largest army in the alliance.
"The real possibility of a Ottoman Turkish base appearing there, as well as Syrian Lions of Islam backed by Turkey, are increasing tensions and fail to contribute to the peaceful regulation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.

[Jpost] Unnamed Hezbollah commander murdered people in Syrian civil war and led 60-member unit
A court in the capital of the Austrian state of Carinthia last week convicted a Hezbollah commander and recruiter for the Lebanese terrorist organization.
The court in the city of Klagenfurt declared the 41-year-old Lebanese man guilty due to his membership in a terrorist organization, a criminal organization, and his role in training for terroristic purposes. The court sentenced the unnamed Lebanese man to a nine-year prison term, according to the Austria Press Agency.
The Jerusalem Post reported in March that the Hezbollah commander spent 13 years in the central European country while reportedly being involved in financing terrorism.
According to the indictment, the Hezbollah commander has been a member of the Shi’ite terrorist movement since 2006. He oversaw a 60-member unit on the border with Syria where combat took place. The convicted Hezbollah terrorist participated in battle in which people were murdered during the Syrian civil war.
The Austrian media report did not identify the victims. "On the part of Hezbollah alone, there were 12 dead during his time there. In the asylum procedure, he also stated that he had recruited 250 men and young people over the age of 14 to join Hezbollah. He also took part in ideological and military training, including in Iran, but also trained himself," the indictment noted, according to the Austrian wire service article.
One must approve of an ambitious man who works to improve his skills.
The Austria Press Agency reported that "immediately after the verdict was pronounced, the jury’s senate ordered the 41-year-old to be arrested. The court imposed pretrial detention due to the risk of a crime and the risk of flight. Several coppers were needed to get the man, who dropped several times to the floor, out of the room, and the family of the Lebanese man protested aggressively."
The Hezbollah commander may appeal the verdict.
In 2019, Peter Gridling, director of the Austrian federal agency responsible for combating terrorism, said Islamic terrorism is the biggest danger for Austria.
Austria’s 2018 intelligence report, the most recent document on covering terrorist threats, lists Islamic terrorism, but does not address the danger in specific terms. For example, the Iranian-sponsored Hezbollah organization is not listed.
The US government under both the Obama and Trump administrations has designated Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... as the top state sponsor of international terrorism.
Austria has refused to ban Hezbollah’s entire organization. Germany, the Netherlands, Britannia, the US, Canada, Israel, the Arab League ...an organization of Arabic-speaking states with 22 member countries and four observers. The League tries to achieve Arab consensus on issues, which usually leaves them doing nothing but a bit of grimacing and mustache cursing... , Lithuania and many Latin American countries have designated Hezbollah’s entire movement a terrorist entity. Austria and the EU have merely banned Hezbollah’s "military wing" while allowing its "political arm" to function.
[AlAhram] Greek authorities have prevented thousands of migrants colonists from entering Greece clandestinely by sea this year despite a recent lack of cooperation from the Ottoman Turkishcoasties, the country's shipping minister said Wednesday.
Giannis Plakiotakis, whose ministry is also in charge of the coasties, said arrivals were down 84% since March 1, compared to the same period last year, while the reduction in the month of August stood at nearly 95% compared to August 2019.
``Since the start of the year, the entry of more than 10,000 people has been prevented,'' Plakiotakis said during a news conference. In August alone, he said, ``we had 68 cases of prevention and we succeeded in 3,000 people not entering our country.''

BLUF: Sister confirms identity Antifa murderer of Aaron Danielson a.k.a. Jay Bishop, sez he’s vicious scum.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
Michael Forest Reinoehl, 48, is 'under investigation' by police in Portland in connection with Saturday's fatal shooting of Aaron Jay Danielson
Reinoehl hasn't been formally named as a suspect, nor been arrested or charged
His sister April reported him to police after recognizing him in photos and videos
She said after the shooting, she received death threats and more than 60 threatening phone calls and messages
Some were from members of Patriot Prayer, the right wing group Danielson had joined in a protest that weekend
April told DailyMail.com that her brother had been estranged from their family for three years after stealing medication from their mother who has dementia
She claimed for years he would verbally abuse and bring their mother to tears, manipulating her into giving him what little spare money she had
‘I would describe him as a jerk, verbally cruel sometimes when he’s not getting his way,’ April added
She opened up the family album and shared photos of a young Michael, explaining he went into a downward spiral when his snowboarding career ended
April said she had never known her brother to be physically violent, and did not know if he owned a gun
Breaking: Phillip L. Nelson, pictured below (left), was arrested at a violent #antifa protest in June & quickly released without bail. His criminal charge wasn't pursued by the DA.

Snowboarding in and of itself is cool, but anyone who skis at any resort can tell you that snowboarders are inconsiderate, self-centered, dangerous assholes for the most part. I know several people who have been injured in collisions with them.

What the Portland DA is doing qualifies as sedition.
The significance of this charge is that rioters in Ore. can now be FEDERALLY charged for crimes against state officers. It was reported yesterday @ORStatePolice have been cross-deputized by the federal government. This bypasses @DAMikeSchmidt's catch & release policy. #antifahttps://t.co/CXSVMM23py

[HOTAIR] A Neenah man had a flamethrower, smoke grenades and fireworks during a demonstration in Green Bay Saturday night, according to police and prosecutors.
Matthew Banta, 23, is charged with obstructing an officer and two counts of felony bail jumping. …
Green Bay police say they were called for “a whole bunch of white people with sticks, baseball bats and helmets headed… towards the police” on Walnut St. near Webster Ave.
“I don’t know who comes to a protest with a baseball bat for anything other than criminal or illegal activity,” said Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith.
A responding officer says he saw four individuals walking towards a protest with baseball bats. One man was wearing a metal helmet with goggles and military-style gear with multiple pouches, and was carrying an Antifa flag. When the officer pulled his squad car in front of the group, they ran away. The officer caught Banta, who was carrying the flag, and says Banta “dropped into the fetal position and began crying.” He accused the officer of lying on him; the officer replied nobody was on him.
Keep in mind that this is a tactical and strategic response for Antifa ...the armed wing of the Democratic Party... members. When approached by superior police force, they attempt to make themselves look like victims of police abuse, or at least nothing more than innocent demonstrators. It might be amusing to watch and to read about later — heck, it is amusing to read that Commander Red cried like an infant — but people should understand it as a tactic.
What is much less amusing, and perhaps even enraging, is that Banta was out on the street at all this past weekend. Just a few weeks earlier, Banta had been charged with pointing a loaded rifle at a police officer, biting and kicking a police officer, and using a dangerous weapon to resist arrest. Not only was the rifle loaded and a bullet chambered in it, Banta was carrying 117 rounds of ammunition at the time to the demonstration. That’s not the kind of weapon nor the ammo load for self-defense, but it does fit an intent to commit an offensive operation.
So why was Banta out on the street again? He only got assessed $10,000 for bail in the first incident despite his multiple charges, and was admonished not to carry dangerous weapons as a condition of his release. Not only did Banta participate in more Antifa actions, he specifically violated that bail arrangement. What did the arraigning judge do in this second instance? He set Banta’s bail at a whopping $2500, a quarter of the bail in the earlier case, even though Banta deliberately violated those conditions. Are they waiting until Banta actually kills someone before addressing the fact that that’s his clear goal?
Banta’s fetal-crying act is a ruse; his strategic acts are what should be grabbing our attention, and the courts’ attention. The reason that domestic snuffies foment violence on the streets is because they have a sense of impunity, which judges and prosecutors feed by not taking these crimes seriously. The sobbing tactic is a joke within a joke, and the best advice we can give is to stop laughing and take these threats seriously. This will only get better when judges and prosecutors begin imposing serious, years-long consequences for the Commander Reds on the streets. Meanwhile, ...back at the Council of Boskone, Helmuth ordered the entire 614th quadrant searched. The Green Lensman must be found!... they are just laughing at us through their crocodile tears.
#2
...which judges and prosecutors feed by not taking these crimes seriously.
Back when they used to teach real history, one of the factors that lead to the demise of the Weimer Republic was the legal caste was largely composed of the old order from the Second Reich, Kaiser Wilhelm era. They loath the new government and used their offices to undermine it by 'going soft' on the clear and immediate threats to it.

They should've just taken him away in a car after shouting 'This man's needs immediate help !' And later told the public he had some appendix trouble, and had to be operated upon. But he was also a hopeless meth addict and didn't make it.

It's quite possible that "Commander Red" crying is a tactical move, but I'm not ready to discount the possibility that he's just a little bitch. "Nothing to look backward to with pride, and nothing to look forward to with hope."

[IsraelTimes] Colin Fisher faces up to 30 years in prison for attempting to violate embargo on sales to Islamic Theocratic Republic.
A UK citizen has pleaded guilty in Florida to US federal charges related to violating an embargo and attempting to smuggle industrial equipment to Iran.
Colin Fisher, 45, pleaded guilty on Monday in Pensacola federal court to violating the International Emergency Economic Powers Act and to attempted smuggling in relation to exporting power generating equipment to Iran, according to court records.
He faces up to 30 years in prison at a scheduled November 10 sentencing.
"Exporting technology to Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... is prohibited for a very good reason, yet this defendant chose to put his own self-interest above global and national security," US Attorney for the Northern District of Florida Lawrence Keefe said in a statement.
Fisher was arrested by federal agents in August when he arrived in Pensacola from the United Arab Emirates to finish the deal, prosecutors said. Fisher has worked for nearly three years to violate the Iranian embargo by attempting to export a Solar Mars 90 S turbine core engine and parts from the US to Iran, they added.
Law enforcement authorities were able to seize the turbine before it was sent to a conspirator linked to an Iranian energy company. The intercepted turbine, which was valued at $500,000, could be used to provide energy to the oil fields of Iran.
James Meharg, CEO and president of Pensacola-based Turbine Resources International, was previously convicted of conspiring with Fisher to export a large turbine and parts from the US to Iran. He was sentenced to three years and four months in federal prison.

Seems like a harsh possible punishment considering the guy who smuggled a few hundred million in cash 5 or 6 years ago got away.
Omer Kuzu, 23, pleaded guilty to terrorism charges on Wednesday, the DOJ said
The Texas native spent five years with ISIS fighters before his capture last year by the Syrian Democratic Forces
He and his brother Yusuf Kuzu were radicalized in the U.S. before traveling to Turkey in 2014, where an 'ISIS taxi' picked them up and smuggled them into Syria
Kuzu was trained as fighter before being sent to Raqqah to provide communications support for the jihadist group
He admitted to pledging allegiance, or 'Bay'ah,' to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and the Islamic Caliphate
After pleading guilty to one count of conspiring to provide material support to a terror group, Kuzu faces up to 20 years in prison.
The Indian official, who was briefed on the latest developments, told Reuters that the movement of Indian forces came in response to the attempt by a large number of Chinese infantrymen to penetrate through a major mountain pass late on Saturday.
The official said, “We mobilized our forces and occupied four summits.” He continued that the four peaks are within the Indian side of the border.
The Indian official added that the Chinese soldiers, backed by military vehicles, got close enough to engage in verbal arguments with the Indian forces, but there was no clash.
There has been a confrontation between Indian and Chinese forces for months in the Ladakh region of the western Himalayas. The two sides have fought over the border for more than half a century.
Yesterday, the Indian Ministry of Defense said : “The Chinese People’s Liberation Army forces violated the previous agreement reached during the military and diplomatic negotiations on the ongoing confrontation in East Ladakh, on the night of August 29-30, 2020, and carried out provocative moves by the forces in order to change the status quo.”
[Jpost] A soldier and police officer were lightly injured in a suspected ramming attack at the Tapuah junction east of Ariel in the West Bank on Wednesday.
According to Israel Police, the suspected terrorist arrived at the scene and rammed into the two security personnel at the junction, injuring them lightly. The suspect was shot by security forces after he exited the vehicle and ran toward police with a knife, and is in moderate condition.
The IDF and Israel Police both confirmed that they had received initial reports of a terrorist ramming attack at the junction on Wednesday and were investigating the incident. The IDF announced that a soldier was one the two people injured.
The attack comes exactly a week after Rabbi Shai Ohayon was murdered in a stabbing attack in Petah Tikva.

The PIJ member called for terrorist attacks in the West Bank to become a daily occurrence.
A young man from the town of Beita, south of Nablus, was the terrorist who carried out the attack, according to Paleostinian media. Paleostinian Red Islamic Thingy ambulances were reportedly prevented from reaching the area.
[IsraelTimes] Official state outlet says IDF targeted airbase in country’s central region, long suspected of being used by Iran; no casualties reported.
The Israeli military launched a number of missiles at targets near the central Syrian city of Homs late Wednesday night, Syrian state media reported.
According to the official SANA news outlet, Israel Defense Forces jets fired "a burst of missiles" at the T-4 Syrian military airbase, the largest in the country, at 10:23 p.m., from the area of al-Tanf, a US-controlled region of Syria near the Iraq border.
The Israeli military has long maintained that the T-4 base, also known as Tiyas base, is being used by Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... to move weapons throughout the region, including to the powerful Hezbollah terror group, and to conduct its own operations. In February 2018, the IDF said Iranian forces based there piloted an armed drone into Israeli airspace before it was shot down by an Israeli helicopter. At the time, the IDF bombed the command-and-control structure on the T-4 base from which the drone was operated.
On Wednesday night, SANA reported that the country’s air defense "intercepted most of them [incoming] rockets," adding that there were no casualties. Most Syrian war analysts dismiss the military’s regular claims of interceptions as empty boasts.
The IDF did not comment on the reported strikes, in accordance with its policy.
Earlier this month, Israel’s Defense Ministry released photographs taken by the country’s newly operational spy satellite, the Ofek-16, showing historical sites in the city of Palmyra, which is located near the T-4 base.
The reported strikes on Wednesday night came two days after Israel was said to have launched missiles at targets in Syria’s south, killing at least two Syrian soldiers. A Syrian civilian woman was also reportedly killed when a Syrian military anti-aircraft missile struck her home.
The Monday night attack appeared to be the first reported Israeli Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... on targets in Syria since a July 20 attack, in which a Hezbollah fighter was killed, prompting the Lebanese terror group to vow Dire Revenge for his death and sparking as-yet-unresolved tensions.
Israel has launched hundreds of strikes in Syria since the start of the civil war in 2011. It has targeted government troops, allied Iranian forces, and fighters from the Lebanese Shiite terror group, Hezbollah.
It rarely confirms details of its operations in the country, but says Iran’s presence in support of Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad Terror of Aleppo ... and Hezbollah is a threat and that it will continue its strikes.
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched heavy artillery and missile strikes on the jihadist defenses near the Ottoman Turkish border on Wednesday.According to a field report from the northern countryside of Latakia, the Syrian Army targeted the jihadist rebel positions in the Jabal al-Turkmen region on Wednesday, hitting their defenses and trenches near the town of Sarraf.
Following the Syrian Army’s attack, the jihadist rebels fired artillery towards the SAA’s positions in the Jabal al-Turkmen region; this would last for approximately a half hour before it would subside.
The Jabal al-Turkmen front-lines have remained relatively stable over the last few years, despite the occasional exchange of hostilities and jihadist ambushes.
The Syrian Army has wanted to retake the remaining areas under jihadist control in Jabal al-Turkmen; however, they have prioritized the nearby Jabal al-Akrad region because of its proximity to the Idlib Governorate.
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) uncovered two mass graves containing the remains of about 55 of its soldiers who were killed by the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. (ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS) terrorist group six years ago.According to local reports, the two graves were found in the village of al-Farhaniyah, which is located about six kilometres away from the town of ’Ain ’Issa in the northern region of al-Raqqa.
The reports said that the first mass grave contained the remains of 15 soldiers, while the other was estimated to have 40.
The Syrian Army said the remains were those of the soldiers of the 17th Reserve Division and 93rd Brigade, who were either captured and executed by ISIS or killed during battle.
The Syrian authorities are now working to conduct DNA testing on the remains of the first 15 bodies that were exhumed.
In July of 2014, the Islamic State began to mass expand across the al-Raqqa Governorate and other areas east of the Euphrates River.
By August of that year, the Islamic State had reached the Tabaqa Airbase in western al-Raqqa, where they captured over 200 Syrian Arab Army soldiers at the strategic installation.
Upon capturing these soldiers, mostly from the 17th Division, the Islamic State marched the prisoners through the desert region in rural al-Raqqa, where they filmed themselves executing the men.
