[KNEWZ] A Yulee, Florida murder suspect who stripped naked and smeared feces on her jail cell walls a week ago has been cleared to stand trial.
Kimberly Kessler, 52, has been declared competent to stand trial in the presumed murder of Joleen Cummings, her co-worker in Fernandina Beach, according to Circuit Judge James Daniel’s Monday order.
The Florida Times-Union reported that the order comes a week after an emaciated Kessler appeared in an anti-suicide smock staring at the camera at her October 5 competency hearing.
During the hearing, she screamed "f— you" at the judge before walking away.
The judge indicated concern for the health of the 52-year-old charged in the 2018 presumed murder of missing co-worker Joleen Cummings, 34, of Yulee.
During her custody, the Florida murder suspect has displayed erratic behavior, including stripping naked and smearing feces on the wall and embarking on a hunger strike that has put her health at risk.
According to NBC affiliate WTLV, the judge wrote that "as extreme as Defendant’s behavior has been, it does not automatically mean she is incompetent for the purpose of standing trial."
He also called attention to the risks presented by Kessler embarking on dangerous hunger strikes and binge eating sessions.
"Without question, Defendant’s behavior has escalated to a level that is life-threatening and Defendant’s attorneys are rightfully concerned," Daniel wrote, noting that Kessler "may be risking permanent damage to her vital organs."

[MAIL] The family of a civilian contractor accidentally strafed and killed by a student F-16 pilot during a botched 2017 training has been awarded almost $25million in a wrongful death lawsuit.
On January 31, 2017, Charles Holbrook was in the observation area during a nighttime active weapons training exercise on Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, where he was visiting for work.
The 53-year-old was struck through the head by a 20mm round when the student pilot accidentally mistook his car for the target and fired on the instruction of his instructor, who also failed to recognize the mistake.

[THEBAGHDADPOST] Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov resigned on Thursday after days of unrest following a disputed election, saying he wanted to prevent festivities between security forces and protesters who have demanded his removal from office.
He becomes the third president of the small Central Asian state to be toppled in a popular uprising since 2005. Kyrgyzstan has been in turmoil since the Oct. 4 parliamentary election, which the opposition rejected after Jeenbekov's allies were declared the winners.
In a statement, Jeenbekov said he feared that violence might break out if protesters carry out a threat to march on his compound.
"The military and security forces will be obliged to use their weapons to protect the state residence. Blood will be inevitably shed. I urge both sides not to fall for provocations," he said.
"I do not want to go down in Kyrgyzstan's history as a president who shed blood and shot at his own citizens."
After the election, opposition supporters erupted into the streets and seized government buildings, prompting the authorities to annul the vote. Jeenbekov announced last week that he would resign, but this week he delayed his exit, saying he would stay in office until a new election was held.
On Wednesday, Jeenbekov accepted parliament's choice of Sadyr Japarov, a nationalist whose supporters freed him from prison last week, to be prime minister. Japarov and his followers have demanded Jeenbekov leave office.

[NYP] A black man wearing a "Trump 2020" mask was kicked off a Southwest Airlines after lowering it to eat a snack, a video appears to show.
The passenger — who was also sporting a "Black Voices for Trump" hat — is seen talking to a crew member while holding a bag of mixed nuts and wearing a face mask under his chin.
"Tell us the policy that says he cannot eat with his mask off?" a woman filming the video can be heard asking in the footage shared by SV News. "It’s the hat and the mask — it’s not the eating."
A second video then shows the man leaving the Tuesday morning Tampa-to-Dallas flight.
The incident — which Southwest said came after the man repeatedly refused to wear a mask — was soon tweeted by Donald Trump Jr., who bashed the airline.

Again, what are the number of hospitalizations and deaths not infected. The more you test the more you find infected, the ratio of infected vs death starts to change.

At this point the mask and social distancing stuff is just another tailor-made set of vague rules designed to be subjectively enforced for whatever purpose. Like with pencil drawings of soldiers and toaster pastries chewed "into the shape of a gun," zero-tolerance mania is always ready to pounce.

Should have written arbitrarily instead of subjectively above, but you get the idea...

Sorry, young lady, but your 15 minutes expired a long time ago. However, if you would like to debate Judge Barrett on Constitutional law, I'm sure that can be arranged. She's used to dealing with children. Greta "Pippi" Thunberg ...an autistic sixteen year old Swedish expert on climate change... on Thursday called out Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett for being neutral on climate change.
"To be fair, I don't have any 'views on climate change' either. Just like I don't have any 'views' on gravity, the fact that the earth is round, photosynthesis nor evolution...But understanding and knowing their existence really makes life in the 21st century so much easier," the 17-year-old environmental activist tweeted Thursday.
