#10 WTF, are you and Joey serious?? You miss the legs, ricochet into an innocent person. What happens then? Oh, I get it you should have shot him center mass. Have you seen the videos of this and other incidents? You do not have minutes to analyze. You are lucky to get a second or two. Most officers have been trained to retreat and they do!

Mentally ill, on drugs, open to suggestion but unlike during the Obama administration they can't get their hands on assault rifles.

With Walt Wallace Jr. interred,
The plans of his clan were deferred,
But he left his wee son
Some advice: "Use a gun!
It's more fun, Walter Wallace III."

From what I’ve read, most police can just about hit the broad side of a barn. Legs are for sharpshooters. A gun plus a taser is really about all they can handle in the middle of close situations, never mind a third option.
[ToloNews] At least three civilians were maimed in a magnetic mine blast on Monday morning in Kabul city, Kabul police confirmed.
The incident happened around 7:35am local time in the Haji Nabi Township in PD6 of Kabul city when a magnetic mine detonated on a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado vehicle, the statement said.
The statement did not provide further details about the blast.
No group including the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... has grabbed credit for the blast.
[KhaamaPress] At least two "terrorists" killed and further one arrested during an operation by the Afghan National Police in Gardiz city of Paktiya, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said Monday.
Officials did not provide further details on the identities of the suspects, but said the three were involved in terrorist activities in the province.
"Two forces of Evil killed and another was arrested in an encounter with ANP in Gardiz City of Paktiya province," said MoIA in a tweet. "The three were involved in many assassinations in Paktiya."
Security officials seized at least "two pistols, one AkK-47 rifle, and a vehicle" during the operation.

[All Africa] The Inspector general of Police Simon Sirro has confirmed that some 300 holy warriors from Mozambique attacked Kitaya village last week killing several people and destroying property.
Kitaya is on the banks of the River Ruvuma that separates Tanzania and Mozambique.
Speaking to Azam TV, the IGP said Police have since arrested both locals and foreigners in connection with the terrorist incident.
According to the police chief, the attackers have since retreated to Mozambique but vowed to bring the perpetrators of the attack to book.
This was the first such raid since Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... -linked fighters began an insurgency in Mozambique three years ago.
Sirro said some of the button men involved in last week's attack were Tanzanians who authorities believe were behind a string of murders in the coastal town of Kibiti, Rufiji in 2017.
Tanzania is working with regional neighbors to "flush out the terrorists," he said, without naming the group behind the raid.
Militants based in Mozambique's gas-rich northern Cabo Delgado province have killed more than 2,110 people since the insurgency begun and displaced 310,000 others, according to the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project, which tracks violence.

[Breitbart] A 21-year-old man allegedly murdered by Afghan migrants colonists aboard a bus was stabbed 99 times, according to a Swedish prosecutor.
The prosecutor revealed details while announcing that three Afghan migrants colonists, a man and his two sons, have been charged with the July killing.
Prosecutor Lindha Strömberg said that the stabbing in Kiruna was likely planned and not a random assault.
"He was cycling after work when they attacked him. He then fled in a panic, running through a residential area and, I believe, sought shelter on the bus. They’ve followed him and cut him down," Strömberg told newspaper Aftonbladet.
"It was a massive assault. The coroner found 99 stab wounds," Strömberg said and added that the victim, 21-year-old Reza Hoseini, had worked at the same business as the wife of the father, a 46-year-old Afghan national.
"The father believed that his wife was having a relationship with the victim. He had been out of work for quite some time. He brought his sons along [to the attack]. I think it indicates an honour motive when you bring family members with you," prosecutor Strömberg said.
Since their arrest in July, the youngest son confessed to the murder, while the other admitted to assaulting the 21-year-old. The father, meanwhile, has claimed he is innocent of any crime and that the 21-year-old attacked his sons first.
Honour culture and honour-based violence have become a major problem in Sweden in recent years, with a 2017 report claiming that as many as 240,000 young people in the country were subject to honour culture.
In 2016, a murder linked to honour culture that saw a man stab his wife 66 times and cut off her nose and upper lip.

An explosion occurred in the town of Iskenderun in the southern province of Hatay on Monday evening, which the local governor blamed on one of two "terrorists".

[IsraelTimes] Cops arrest suspects who allegedly attempted to steal the serviceman’s weapon at a bus stop at the Sha’ar Efraim Junction near Taibe.
Two men pepper-sprayed a soldier and attempted to steal his gun at a bus stop near the West Bank, police said Monday morning.
The suspects were arrested at the scene. Police said the motive for the attack was not immediately known.
According to police, the men approached the soldier at a bus stop at the Sha’ar Efraim Junction and attacked him with pepper spray before trying to take his gun.
"Civilians who were at the scene assisted the soldier and called officers to the location," police said.
The junction is named for the adjacent town of Sha’ar Efraim, which sits several kilometers east of Netanya between the Arab Israeli town of Taibe and the West Bank city of Tulkarem.
The officers detained the two suspects and brought them in for questioning at a nearby cop shoppe.
According to the Magen David Adom ambulance service, the soldier was lightly injured in the attack and has been taken to an area hospital for treatment.
[IsraelTimes] Suspect was arrested after walking around the central Israeli town for two hours with a loaded gun, according to indictment.
A Paleostinian man was indicted Monday for illegally carrying a loading gun and planning to carry out a shooting attack with it in the central Israeli town of Rosh Ha’ayin in late September, police said.
A gag order was placed on the case, but it was rescinded after the suspect, Moataz Musa Hussein, was charged in a military court on Sunday.
According to police, officers were tipped off about Hussein’s plans to carry out an attack in Rosh Ha’ayin on September 29.
"Officers conducted searches during which they spotted the suspect. The officers approached him, subdued him and noticed that a loaded pistol, ammunition magazines and a box of bullets were hidden on him... Their effort effectively prevented the terror attack," police said.
According to the charges against him, Hussein’s wife had recently died in a car accident and he decided to carry out an attack with the hope that at the end of it he would be killed by Israeli security forces.
Hussein entered Israel through a gap in the security fence and on September 29, he walked through Rosh Ha’ayin over the course of some two hours. He considered, but decided against shooting at least three different targets — a mother and her child, a father and his child, and a group of men — before he was eventually arrested, according to the indictment.
"Following his interrogation, the suspect admitted that he had planned to carry out a terror attack," police said.
The Jerusalem Post adds:
On Sunday night, following a joint investigation by Shin Bet and Israel Police, an indictment was filed in the Samaria Military Court against Mathaz Mussa Hasin, a Kalkilya resident.
The details promised in this tweet from four days ago.
[APNEWS] The United States believes it killed seven big shots of al-Qaeda in Syria in an Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... last week as the leaders were meeting near Idlib, U.S. Central Command said Monday.
A Central Command spokeswoman, Maj. Beth Riordan, said the strike was conducted Oct. 22. She did not identify the seven leaders by name.
"The removal of these AQ-S leaders will disrupt the terrorist organization’s ability to further plot and carryout global attacks threatening U.S. citizens, our partners, and innocent civilians," she said.
"AQ-S takes advantage of the instability in northwest Syria to establish and maintain safe havens to coordinate terrorist activities," she added. "With our allies and partners, we will continue to target al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations."
A US dronezap killed at least 10 attendees at a meeting in northwest Syria’s opposition-held Idlib province on Thursday, US Central Command said.
The strike hit "a group of al-Qaeda in [Syria] big shots meeting near Idlib" and that the group "continues to present a threat to America and our allies," CENTCOM spokesperson Maj. Beth Riordan said in a statement.
"[Al-Qaeda in Syria] takes advantage of the instability in northwest Syria to establish and maintain safe havens to coordinate terrorist activities. With our allies and partners, we will continue to target al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations," it read.
Citing local sources, Washington-based analyst Charles Lister tweeted that 11 people were believed to have been killed in the strike, including a former Jabhat al-Nusra ...formally Jabhat an-Nusrah li-Ahli al-Sham (Support Front for the People of the Levant), also known as al-Qaeda in the Levant. They aim to establish a pan-Arab caliphate. Not the same one as the Islamic State, though .. ... commander.
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said 14 people were killed, including five foreign jihadists and six commanders. Multiple sources reported the strike occurred in the village of Jakara.
Why it matters: US drones regularly kill suspected al-Qaeda figures individually or in pairs in northwest Syria, but this strike was big.
Local reports say several of those killed were rivals of the local Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else ...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State... , the most prominent Islamist bully boy group in Idlib that is suspected to have ties to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... ’s intelligence service.
Turkey’s military maintains thousands of troops in Idlib in support of the opposition. The strike is bound to add to rumors on the ground that HTS may be cooperating with Ottoman Turkish intelligence, which in turn may be providing targeting information to the United States. So far, no evidence for the rumors have been made public.

Something tells me that in this case there will be no photo of the President and his minions sitting around the table and following the attack in real time. Something tells me US forces have orders to attack al Qaeda whenever and wherever it will leave a mark, and the President does not have to sign off.
