[Al Ahram] A criminal court in Ismailiya sentenced a-28-year-old man to death over the rape of a woman in front of her husband in a crime committed in October 2020. That was quick.
The court also sentenced three other men to 10 years in prison for aiding the main defendant in his crime. "Ever been in an Egyptian prison, Jimmy?"
The crime took place when the 25-year-old victim and her 27-year-old husband, who work in collecting and trading garbage, went searching for their cycle of violence at a cemetery in Ismailiya after its disappearance.
While searching for the cycle of violence, the couple were attacked by four men wielding bladed weapons, three of which attacked the husband while the fourth raped his wife in front of him.
The penalty of rape in Egypt is usually a life sentence in prison, however, in the event of the rape resulting in the death of the victim, then the penalty is usually the death sentence ...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead... In some cases where the victim has not died but was subject to brutal violence during the rape, a death sentence may also be given.

What's the sentence for raping a country in front of its citizens?

I am very comfortable with the Sentences and the Speed that all were carried out.
In the USA it typically takes anywhere from 14-30 years to finally get to the Great Sleep. At which all to often the Immediate Family and member of society of that period never live to hear of Justice was done.
Justice is not a governmental issue.
It is a Society/Family stability issue.
It is needed to show there is JUSTICE and NO NEED to take the LAW into our on hands for Justice.
[Jpost] The Kaifeng Jewish community reportedly consists of just 100 practicing Jews among 1,000 who claim ancestry, but their history goes back over a thousand years.
While Jewish communities worldwide are celebrating Hanukkah, the small community in China must do so in secret as Beijing works to crack down on foreign influences and unapproved religions in the country, the UK daily The Telegraph reported.
The community in China is very miniscule, consisting of around 1,000 people of which experts say only 100 are actually practicing, and have lacked a rabbi for well over a century. However,

[WSJ] Wash your hands, wear a mask and don’t forget to gargle with mouthwash.
That’s the message Unilever UL 0.65%▲ PLC and Colgate-Palmolive Co. CL 0.11%▲ are carefully starting to push after research they commissioned showed that certain types of mouthwash and toothpaste could potentially help deactivate the virus that causes Covid-19.
Now, Unilever is launching mouthwash brands in new markets, while Colgate has shared the results of its study with dentists.
Reducing virus particles in the mouth could help fight against the pandemic, the companies said, because Covid-19 can be spread through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes or speaks. Both companies said the mouthwashes dissolve the outer protective layer of virus particles, preventing them from attaching to cells and infecting them.
But based on tests so far they can’t definitively say how long the benefit would last or what impact coughing would have. That makes it hard to judge how useful oral-hygiene products could be in curbing transmission.
Unilever said an October lab-based study it commissioned found mouthwash containing cetylpyridinium chloride, or CPC—an ingredient used by dentists for its antibacterial properties—reduced SARS-CoV-2 particles by 99.9% after 30 seconds of rinsing.
"While we are clear that this is not a cure or proven way to prevent the transmission of coronavirus, the results are very promising," said Glyn Roberts, Unilever’s head of research and development for oral care.

Seems like the alcohol in most mouthwashes would have the same effect on a virus as the alcohol in hand sanitizer. Or Chivas Regal, for that matter.
But don't gargle with hand sanitizer, unless you thought it was Trump's idea.

Anything that prevents Covid virions from establishing themselves in the throat and fruitfully multiplying until they are ready to drip down into the lungs is a good thing.

One hospital I know of had a patient recovering from the DTs. He was quite resourceful. One morning every single bottle of 40 proof mouthwash disappeared from the bedside stands of all patients on his floor. The empty bottles were found in their wastebaskets. The DT patient smelled strongly of mouthwash for many days afterward.
