#1 Seems like the alcohol in most mouthwashes would have the same effect on a virus as the alcohol in hand sanitizer. Or Chivas Regal, for that matter.

But don't gargle with hand sanitizer, unless you thought it was Trump's idea.

#5 One hospital I know of had a patient recovering from the DTs. He was quite resourceful. One morning every single bottle of 40 proof mouthwash disappeared from the bedside stands of all patients on his floor. The empty bottles were found in their wastebaskets. The DT patient smelled strongly of mouthwash for many days afterward.
