Somalia, Al-Shabaab each disowns having peace talks
Oh well. It was a nice idea while it lasted, but clearly Al Shabaab is not yet desperate enough to give up on their caliphate.
[Garowe] Both the al-Shabaab
...... al-Qaeda's tentacle in East Africa...
and the government of Somalia disowned alleged intentions to have peace talks, just a few hours after a senior Somali government official claimed that the two parties are willing to negotiate for the sake of stability in the Horn of Africa nation.

On Saturday, Deputy Defense minister Abdulfatah Kasim Mohamud, who is also a member of the Lower House, claimed the bully boyz have formally approached the government requesting negotiations to end the 26-year siege.

But moments after Abdulfatah Kasim Mohamud's sentiments, a senior federal government of Somalia official denied claims that they have received official communication from the al-Qaeda-linked group for talks, adding that the minister was misquoted.

"We have not received any requests from the group," National Security Adviser Hussein Sheikh Ali told Voice of America Somali. "The minister said he was misquoted."

According to him, the official position on al-Shabaab by the federal government of Somalia has not changed, adding that the offensive will continue as planned. The government with its allies has been unleashing on the bully boyz for the last five months.

"Our policy towards talks with Alshabab remains the same," he wrote in a message via WhatsApp.

"We aren’t negotiating with them as a group. However,
we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by...
individuals who wish to leave the group will undergo a thorough process to defect and be eligible for government amnesty formally," he added.

In the same measure, the al-Shabaab bully boyz have denied intentions to engage the government of Somalia, noting that the claims were "baseless". Through their affiliated website, the group denies the claims, while accusing the minister of fabrication.

"I can confirm that there aren’t and can be no talks between us," a krazed killer official told the website. The official was said to be from the group’s media department, but his name was not published.

Further, the official dismissed intentions for talks with the government of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who has been on the frontline in the fight against the krazed killers. Previously, al-Shabaab has ruled out such talks with the government.

Ali Mohamud Rage, known as Ali Dhere, the official spokesperson of al-Shabaab, said a few years ago that said dialogue is "more dangerous than the weapons of mass destruction."

"We heard from the infidels and apostates repeatedly stating that they are open to talks with the mujahedeen," he told al-Shabaab's radio Andalus. "This is how the infidels use dialogue, as an approach to misguide the Moslems and destroy Moslem causes."

Al-Shabaab has lost several strategic towns across the country following a spirited operation by the Somalia National Army [SNA], the US Africa Command, the African Union
...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful...

Report: Sissi irate after Netanyahu fails to prevent Ben Gvir’s Temple Mount visit
[IsraelTimes] Arab newspaper describes ’resentment’ and ’embarrassment’ in Egyptian leadership; says incident may compromise attempts to mediate potential prisoner swap with Hamas, one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede,

Actions by Israel’s new hardline government over the past week have complicated Jerusalem’s ties with Cairo, according to a Sunday report.

The Arabic-language London-based newspaper al-Araby al-Jadeed said far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir’s visit to the flashpoint Temple Mount holy site in Jerusalem, as well as sanctions imposed on Paleostinian leadership, have incensed Cairo and "have made it difficult for Egypt to mediate" a potential prisoner swap deal with the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
-based Hamas terror group.

Hamas currently holds two Israelis — Hisham al-Sayed and Avera Mengistu — along with the bodies of two soldiers killed in the 2014 Gaza war, Oron Shaul and Hadar Goldin.

Years-long efforts to secure their return have thus far produced no results, and no progress was apparent even before the formation of the current government.

Citing Arab diplomatic sources with knowledge of the matter, the report said Egypt’s mediation efforts "have been affected by the formation of the most krazed killer government in Israel’s history."

The report said "the failure of [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu’s attempts to rein in [Ben Gvir]" was especially problematic for the Egyptian leadership.

It described a sense of "resentment" and "embarrassment" in the office of Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi due to Netanyahu’s decision to allow Ben Gvir to visit the flashpoint site, days after Sissi spoke with Netanyahu on the phone, congratulated him on returning as premier and pressed him to prevent the planned visit, which the report described as "the storming of al-Aqsa."

During their conversation last month, Sissi stressed "the necessity of avoiding any measures that could lead to a tense situation and complicate the regional scene."

The report said Netanyahu had promised during the call to "maintain the calm" and to prevent Ben Gvir’s visit. After Egypt expressed discontent with the fact that the visit ultimately went ahead on Tuesday, Israel reportedly said this was due to considerations of preserving the coalition, and that Netanyahu remains committed to maintaining its close ties with the Egyptian leadership.

The report also cited a series of Israeli sanctions against the Paleostinian Authority approved Friday as another strain on relations.

The sanctions, which include seizing tax revenues Israel collects on behalf of the PA and channeling them to Israeli victims of Paleostinian terrorism, came in response to Ramallah’s successful initiative at the United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
to have the International Court of Justice draft a legal opinion on Israel’s conduct in the Paleostinian territories.

Israel and Egypt signed a peace agreement in 1979 but relations have been mostly frosty, though the government have maintained close security ties in recent years. The countries share security interests in the Gaza Strip as well as in Sinai and the eastern Mediterranean, but most Egyptians reject ties with Israel. Cairo, like Jerusalem, sees Gaza’s Hamas rulers as a serious threat and has restricted crossings to and from the enclave.

Africa Subsaharan
Home Of Late Boko Haram Founder, Mohammed Yusuf In Borno Becomes Criminal Hideout

The abandoned home and administrative headquarters (markas) of Boko Haram
...not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
founder, Mohammed Yusuf,
...killed by police in 2009. His eldest surviving son, Abu Musab al-Barnawi — that last bit cleverly means from Borno — replaced Abubkar Shekau as Boko Haram/ISWAP Big Turban in 2021...
near the Railway Terminus in the heart of Maiduguri, Borno State, has turned into criminals ' hideouts and threat to the community.

Boko Haram faceless myrmidons fired the first shots that put Nigeria on the map of global terrorism in the markas.

The relic was once Yusuf's sacred shrine, which was demolished by authorities in 2009, shortly after he and his followers declared war on the Nigerian state, claiming thousands of lives and counting.

According to Daily Trust, 14 years later, the ruins of the markas, which house criminals and have no idea what the government intends to do with the area, remain a haunting landmark for families of those killed in the insurgency.

When Daily Trust visited the area on Saturday, residents complained that criminals had taken over the demolished markas and were terrorising passers-by, mostly at night.

Sadiq Ibrahim, a resident, complained that the area's major challenge was moral decadence among youths and children, which he noted was breeding another nuisance.

He said, "You will see little boys with bad haircuts, some taking drugs and attending night clubs and all of that.

"Once it’s 8pm, people don’t follow the markas area because hoodlums will attack you and seize your valuables. That’s why many people are calling on the government to build a school there.

"But for me, let the government establish a company that will employ the youths to take them off drugs and other social vices. If you establish a school there, many of us that still live with the trauma of what happened will be afraid to send our children."

Another resident, Bakura Modu, stated that the markas boys targeted evening and night commuters near the enclave's sharp bend.

He said, "They lurk around the rubble of the structure to take drugs, smoke Indian hemp and attack people. Not quite long, they attacked a man and injured him."

Adam Tela, a resident, said, "They will brandish a knife and ask you to surrender your belongings. If you resist, they will injure you and take what they want. My house is nearby but I always make sure I go back home before 5pm."

Falmata (21) said the miscreants also harassed women.

She said, "I don’t want to talk about this, but there is a need to clear the place. They once collected my phone and money. They have done this to some of my friends and to many visitors. They are committing many atrocities."

Babagana Makinta, a community leader, lamented that the area had become a hotbed of criminal activity and urged the government to establish a school there.

Makinta said, "The genesis of the Boko Haram crisis was lack of good education. Most of the people that joined the sect were illiterates who lacked backgrounds of both religious and Western education.

"We thank Gov Zulum for constructing roads and boreholes close to the area for the traumatised residents to rebuild their lives, but we don’t have a good school; which is very critical considering the situation we are in right now."

Muhammad Bukar, who was born and raised in the area, also commented on the situation, saying he did not go into exile during the crisis.

He said, "I stayed back even when people deserted this place. The only time I slept outside my house was when a deadly attack caught up with me in the town and a curfew was imposed. That was how I spent two days in my friend’s house.

"Now, the Boko Haram crisis has ended and peace is gradually returning. That is why we want the government to pay much attention here."

He noted that apart from the criminals that constituted threats around the markas area, a night club was booming close to the place and had been a bad influence on many youths.

He further said, "We want the government to intervene and relocate them elsewhere because it’s ruining the characters of our maiden of tender yearss while feeding the markas area with criminals.

"Not only the markas, we also want the government to convert the moribund railway station to a hospital or cop shoppe so as to avoid a repeat of the situation we found ourselves in."

Chukwuemaka Emmanuel Ani, another resident who has a school in the area teaching Western and Islamic education, said, "If we educate them and disabuse their minds, they would be the ones to help us in future."

Baba Usman Mele, a security guard at the railway station, described the situation as terrifying and that it needed urgent action.

He said, "We have had enough from 2009; blood spilt everywhere. Our women, children and many breadwinners were caught up and died in that avoidable crisis.

"We have really suffered. There is no resident in this area that does not have a bitter story to tell. We all went into exile but returned later when the situation subsided because this is the only place we call home.

"We are appealing to the government to come and do something here."

When asked whether they have reported the ugly trend to the government, he said, "We have not because most of those doing these things are not strangers. They live with people here as good people in the day and turn into monsters at night."

When contacted, the police front man in Borno State, Muhammad Shatambaya, said they received complaints from residents of the area when the new Commissioner of Police (CP) arrived in Maiduguri and that they made some arrests.

He said, "Our surveillance team went into the place and made arrests. Some were paraded while others were taken to court.

"I’m also calling on the residents to contact us through our control room numbers whenever they need our help."

Resident of Chechnya fined for publishing ISIS Symbols
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] A court in Chechnya has sentenced local resident Khasein Khaidaev to a fine, accused of posting a picture with the flag of a terrorist organization on a social network. Khaidaev pleaded guilty, follows from the court order.

The Vedensky District Court of Chechnya found a local resident Khasein Khaidaev guilty of distributing extremist materials in connection with the publication on VKontakte of a picture depicting the flag of the Islamic State* terrorist organization, Kavkaz.Realii reports today.

According to the materials of the administrative case, during the operational-search activities, an employee of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Chechen Interior Ministry found IS symbolism * on the page of a 32-year-old resident of Chechnya. The court fined Khaidaev a thousand rubles, the newspaper writes.

Khassein Khaidaev was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (propaganda or public display of paraphernalia or symbols, the promotion or public display of which is prohibited by federal laws), indicated in the case file on the court website, dated December 26, 2022.

Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation provides for citizens a fine in the amount of one thousand to 2000 rubles or up to 15 days of administrative arrest.

At the court session, Khassein Khaidaev fully admitted his guilt and "repented of his deed." According to him, he did not know that "a black banner with gold Arabic script and a golden circle in the center with black Arabic script" is the symbol of the organization, all the more banned, according to the ruling published in the file of the case.

The judge, when considering the case, considered the repentance of the defendant to be a mitigating circumstance, but did not find any circumstances aggravating administrative responsibility.

Also, the judge did not find grounds for imposing a different punishment. "At the same time, the size of the fine, taking into account the property status of Khaidaev Kh.Kh. and his lack of permanent income, the court considers it possible to assign a minimum amount," the text of the document says.

Europe
Germany: NYE violence sparks debate about integration
Responding to this story of migrant riots on New Years Eve.
[DW] Attacks on police and emergency services during the New Year’s Eve celebrations in ethnically diverse urban areas across Germany have given rise to a new immigration debate.

The dramatic scenes of streets ablaze to the sound of gunfire from blank-firing pistols as fireworks, stones and bottles were hurled at the police and emergency service workers shocked many. For two years the sale of fireworks had been banned in an attempt to prevent large gatherings and curb the spread of the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
. This year's New Year's Eve celebrations have again reignited the debate about a potential ban on the sale of fireworks.

Turkey Deports 68,000 Undocumented Afghan Migrants
[KhaamaPress] The General Directorate of Migration of Turkey has announced that it has deported some 68, 290 Afghan nationals out of 124,441 illegal migrants during the past year.

According to the General Directorate of Migration of Turkey, some 68,290 Afghan citizens, 12,511 Pakistanis and migrants from other countries have been expelled during the past year. Turkey’s migration department insists that it will deport more illegal migrants and asylum seekers in the current year, which includes 227 Afghan nationals.

Meanwhile, Khalil Ur Rahman Haqqani, Afghanistan’s Acting Minister of Refugee and Repatriation urged the host counties to stop the forceful deportation of Afghan migrants.

Following the return of the Taliban to power in August 2021, thousands of Afghans fled the country fearing physical harassment, persecution and killing at the hands of the Taliban to the neighboring counties. Most people took the rather risky and illegal pathways to enter countries including Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey. After spending months of uncertainty they now face the fear of forceful deportation and imprisonment.

“Returning to Afghanistan is similar to suicide. I have suffered quite a lot to reach Turkey, and now they are forcefully deporting me to my country. I have no choice but to give an end to my life rather now than later,” said an Afghan refugee.

Similarly, Iran deports Afghan refugees in a regular manner. The Iranian border officials have been accused of committing physical harassment and torturing Afghan nationals on several occasions. Meanwhile, Pakistan, hosting millions of Afghan refugees over the past four decades has also taken serious initiative regarding undocumented Afghan migrants. They had put hundreds of Afghan women and children behind bars in Karachi Prisons in the recent past, prompting widespread condemnations from politicians, refugee advocacy groups, and governments.

As teams from Israel, Arab allies meet in UAE this week, US laments Jordan’s absence from Negev Forum
[IsraelTimes] Senior US official says Arab states will be keeping eye on policies of new hardline Israeli government , aims to keep Paleostinians in loop.

A senior State Department official lamented Jordan’s expected absence at the latest Negev Forum gathering of Israel and its Arab allies that will take place on Monday and Tuesday in Abu Dhabi.

Iraq
Iraq's High Court Issues Arrest Warrant for Trump
Iran’s Mad Mullahs had a bright idea, and now the Iraqi government is scurrying to execute. Only who is going to bell this particular cat?
[CONSERVATIVEBRIEF] Iraq’s Supreme Court has issued an arrest warrant for former President Donald Trump
...His ancestors didn't own any slaves...
over the death of Iran’s Quds Force commander, Gen. Qasem Soleimani, on Iraqi soil, according to a state-run media outlet based in Baghdad.
Actually, I think it was in the back seat of a car - Ginsu-opened sunroof
Iraqi News noted that "President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, announced on Thursday the issuance of an arrest warrant for former U.S. President Donald Trump." The warrant is also for the killing of the then-Iraqi militia leader, chief of staff of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in Iraq.

The killing of the Quds Force and militia commanders led to a counterstrike from Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
against the Aia al-Assad U.S. base in Iraq.

Citing the reports, OilPrice.com noted:

The arrest warrant charges Trump with premeditated murder. While the warrant is clearly symbolic, a conviction of this nature carries the death penalty
.

The court said the investigation into the killings was still ongoing, AP reported.

Citing Baghdad Today news agency, IraqiNews quoted Supreme Judicial Council head Faiq Zaidban as calling on Baghdad to hold Trump "accountable for this heinous crime."

In January 2020, NBC News reported that Trump himself approved the strike against Soleimani roughly seven months earlier. A previous presidential directive authorizing it came "with the condition that Trump would have final signoff on any specific operation to kill Soleimani," according to officials who spoke with the outlet.

The outlet added:

After Iran shot down a U.S. drone in June, John Bolton, Trump’s national security adviser at the time, urged Trump to retaliate by signing off on an operation to kill Soleimani, officials said. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also wanted Trump to authorize the liquidation, officials said.

But Trump rejected the idea, saying he’d take that step only if Iran crossed his red line: killing an American. The president’s message was "that’s only on the table if they hit Americans," according to a person briefed on the discussion.

Previous administrations had identified Iran’s Quds Force as a terrorist organization and authorized sanctions against Soleimani and other officials associated with the military organization.

In April 2019, then-National Security Adviser John Bolton "helped prod Trump to designate the entire Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a foreign terrorist organization," NBC News stated.

"White House officials at the time refused to say whether that meant the United States would target Revolutionary Guard leaders as it does the leadership of other terrorist groups, such as the Islamic State

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Leadership mulling legal response to Israel’s retaliatory measures: Palestinian FM
[AlAhram] Riyad al-Maliki, the Paleostinian minister of foreign affairs and expatriates, stated today that the Paleostinian leadership is considering a legal and political response to the recent announcement of the far-right Israeli government's retaliatory measures against the Paleostinian people, according to Paleostinian news agency WAFA.

In response to Paleostine's request at the UN General Assembly for an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice (ICJ), on the legality of the Israeli occupation, the Israeli security cabinet ordered the transfer of roughly $39 million from Paleostinian Authority tax funds to the so-called "Israeli victims of terrorism" on Friday.

The welfare payments given by the Paleostinian government to Paleostinians detained in Israeli jails and the families of Paleostinians slain by Israeli occupation forces in 2022 were also ordered to be offset by the Israeli Ministerial Committee.

In addition, Paleostinian building initiatives in the majority of the West Bank that is occupied by Israel were prohibited, according to WAFA.

"The Israeli occupation’s measures violate international law, and come in response to the State of Paleostine’s natural and legal right to get rid of the decades-long occupation," al-Maliki told the official Voice of Paleostine radio.

"In a letter to foreign ministries around the world, we will call for a clear position on these measures so that the occupying power will realise that it is not fully free to act as it pleases," he added.

He explained that work is underway to build international public opinion against the occupying regime by exposing its crimes before the countries of the world.

Withholding millions from PA, Smotrich says he has ‘no interest’ in its existence
[IsraelTimes] $40 million in tax revenues to be transferred to relatives of terror victims as part of new government’s sanctions against Ramallah

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich on Sunday signed a decree to block NIS 139 million ($39.6 million) in tax revenue from the Paleostinian Authority and redirect it to families of terror victims, as part of punitive measures against the PA’s international legal action against Israel, decided upon by the government.

During a presser, Smotrich was asked whether he was concerned the move could bring about the collapse of the PA, answering: "As long as the Paleostinian Authority encourages terror and is an enemy, I have no interest for it to continue to exist."

Smotrich hailed a years-long campaign to offset the PA’s regular payments to terror convicts and to families of dead Paleostinian attackers, which Israel and other critics say offer a direct incentive for terror, calling it a "just struggle...not only in providing retroactive justice, but also as a deterrent."

Israel has made such deductions in the past, following 2018 legislation on the matter, but only partially upholds the policy, as officials are keenly aware that the PA is dangerously close to financial collapse.

"There is no solace for the families of those murdered, but there is justice," Smotrich said.

The move is one of the steps approved by the government on Friday to penalize the Paleostinians in retaliation for their push for the United Nation’s highest judicial body to give its opinion on Israel’s control of the West Bank. The decision highlights the tough line the new government is taking toward the Paleostinians, at a time of spiking violence in the West Bank and with peace talks a distant memory.

The Paleostinian Authority’s practice of paying allowances to those convicted of carrying out terror attacks and to the families of those killed while carrying out attacks — often referred to by some Israeli officials as a pay-to-slay policy — has been defended by Paleostinian leaders, who describe them as a form of social welfare and necessary compensation for victims of Israel’s military justice system in the West Bank.

Smotrich told news hounds on Sunday that as long as the PA "operates according to agreements, takes care of civilian life and thwarts terror activities in cooperation with Israel’s security establishment, then, of course, it is possible to have relations with the authority.

"This is on the condition that the authority does not resort to terror," he added.

Abie Moses, the head of the national the Organization of Victims of Terrorism, praised the "important decision," but added it was only a first step among several demands by those hurt in attacks.

"The inauguration of a new Knesset is an opportunity to atone for the long-standing neglect of the victims of enemy hostilities, and to allocate the necessary resources in order to take care of the rights of thousands who lost their loved ones, who are struggling to survive and trying to continue to live," he said.

Attorney Avi Segal of Israeli legal advocacy group Shurat HaDin thanked Smotrich and the government for the decision, adding "there is empirical research" that cutting off funds was crucial to preventing terror.

Ron Alon, a relative of terror victims killed in a 2002 Jerusalem attack, called the move "a historic day," echoing Smotrich’s words about both doing justice for terror victims and potentially deterring future would-be-assailants.

Other punitive measures against the PA include the revocation of travel permits for top Paleostinian officials that allow them to travel easily in and out of the West Bank, unlike ordinary Paleostinians, and the freezing of Paleostinian construction in parts of the West Bank.

Netanyahu fires 3 drivers who worked for 9 PMs without warning
[JPost] Bibi knows how to get rid of anonymous "sources who were not authorized to talk to the press"
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office fired three drivers from their positions as drivers to the prime minister without prior notice last week, according to a report by N12 on Saturday.

The drivers had been in the job for 30 years and had worked for nine prime ministers including Yitzhak Shamir, Shimon Peres, Yitzhak Rabin, Ehud Barak and most notably as far as Netanyahu is concerned, Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid.

The drivers said they had been called to a talk with human resources who told them that they were fired, effective immediately.

Representatives of the drivers told Ynet that "the drivers are completely crushed. They are older people who are financing families with many children. These are operational and experienced drivers whose training cost the country millions. They were trained abroad."

The sources added that the drivers had received letters praising their work from all the prime ministers they served in the past, including Netanyahu.

The unofficial reason for their firing is that Netanyahu doesn't trust them anymore because the drivers worked for Bennett and Lapid.

According to a Channel 13 report, the drivers are all witnesses in Netanyahu's trial.
Possibly this has a little something to do with it...
The prime minister's office said in response that this was not the reason they were fired and added that there were other drivers who are also witnesses in the trial who were not fired.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE DRIVERS NOW?
Ynet reported that the drivers were not told whether they would be given a different driving role within the government, but even if they were, it would greatly harm their work conditions and significantly cut their salaries.

Sources in the government claimed that they were looking into reassigning the drivers to the president's convoy.

"The drivers who chauffer Prime Minister Netanyahu have been with him for many years," said a statement from the prime minister's office. "The job of the prime minister's driver is a sensitive one, and it is the right of the prime minister to choose who will be with him in the car. As a rule, with the exchange of prime ministers, the trust-based positions have expired and will be re-evaluated in the near future."

Olde Tyme Religion
A Muslim tutor traps Hindu minor girl in love, rapes her and forces her to change her religion
[OneIndia] A Moslem tutor in the Banda district of Uttar Pradesh is accused of trapping a Hindu minor girl in love, raping her and forcing her to convert to Islam.

In yet another Love Jihad case, Afzal, who used to give tuition in Banda, trapped the Hindu girl and then bravely ran away. He then raped her and forced her to change her religion, as per a report.

It is reported that he was his tuition teacher.

The victim's family filed after she went missing following which the cops started investigating the case and arrested Afzal. The report further claims that the accused has been booked under sections of rape, POCSO, and the Religion Conversion Act.

The victim's family has alleged that Afzal is a resident of the Hamirpur district and bravely ran away with the girl on Monday afternoon. The girl was traced on Friday. When the cops spotted her, she was seen wearing a burqa.

The girl told the police that the accused Afzal had raped her. At the same time, he also pressurized her to change religion. Based on the girl's statement, the police started the paperwork but haven't done much else and arrested the accused, and sent him to jail.

In a similar incident, the Maharashtra Police have registered a complaint against a Moslem individual named Sameer Saleem Patel for sexually assaulting a minor in the Vai region of Satara district.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
‘Dozens’ of Iranians protest outside French embassy over ‘insulting’ Charlie Hebdo cartoons
[IsraelTimes] Dozens of Iranians gathered Sunday outside the French embassy in Tehran protesting against cartoons of the Islamic Theocratic Republic’s supreme leader by French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo
...A lefty French satirical magazine, home of what may well be the majority if the active testicles left in Europe...

The magazine on Wednesday published caricatures of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...
in support of the protests in Iran, sparked by the September 16 death in jug of Mahsa Amini, following her arrest for allegedly violating the country’s strict dress code.

Iran
...The nation is noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence...
had warned La Belle France over the "insulting and indecent" cartoons, which appeared in a special edition to mark the anniversary of the deadly 2015 attack on the magazine’s Gay Paree offices.

Dozens of demonstrators, most of them religious seminary students, gathered in front of the embassy in the center of the capital Tehran and set fire to French flags, AFP journalists reported.

"La Belle France, be ashamed!" the crowd chanted.

Waving Iranian flags, they held pictures of Khamenei and signs reading "I will sacrifice my life for the leader," and "Shame on Charlie Hebdo."

"I came to support my revolution, my leader," 17-year-old seminary student Karim Heydarpour said.

Similar pro-government rallies were held in Iran’s holy city of Qom, 128 kilometers (80 miles) south of Tehran, the state broadcaster reported.

On Sunday evening, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi condemned the publication of the cartoons, state news agency IRNA reported.

"Resorting to insult and offense under the pretext of freedom is clear evidence of the absurdity of the logic of those who insult, and their disappointment at the non-fruition of the conspiracy of chaos and insecurity in the country," Raisi said.

Earlier in the day, Iran’s Foreign Ministry front man Nasser Kanani said freedom of speech should not be used as a pretext for "insulting" religion.

La Belle France "has no right to justify insulting the sanctities of other countries and nations and followers of divine religions under the pretext of freedom of speech," he said on Twitter.

Gay Paree should observe the "fundamental principles of international relations — namely mutual respect (and) non-interference in the internal affairs of others," he said.

Alabama woman who joined ISIS hopes to return from Syria camp

A woman who ran away from home in Alabama at the age of 20, joined ISIS and had a child with one of its fighters says she still hopes to return to the US, serve prison time if necessary, and advocate against the extremists.

In a rare interview from the Roj detention camp in Syria where she is being held by US-allied Kurdish forces, Hoda Muthana said she was brainwashed by online traffickers into joining the group in 2014 and regrets everything except her young son.

“If I need to sit in prison, and do my time, I will do it... I won’t fight against it,” the 28-year-old told US-based outlet The News Movement. “I’m hoping my government looks at me as someone young at the time and naive.”

It’s a line she’s repeated in various media interviews since fleeing from one of the extremist group’s last enclaves in Syria in early 2019.

But four years earlier, at the height of the extremists’ power, she had voiced enthusiastic support for them on social media and in an interview with BuzzFeed News.

ISIS then ruled a self-declared Islamic caliphate stretching across roughly a third of both Syria and Iraq. In tweets from 2015 she called on Americans to join the group and carry out attacks in the US, suggesting drive-by shootings or vehicle rammings targeting gatherings for national holidays.

In her interview with TNM, Muthana now says her phone was taken from her and that the tweets were sent by ISIS supporters.

Muthana was born in New Jersey to Yemeni immigrants and once had a US passport. She was raised in a conservative Muslim household in Hoover, Alabama, just outside Birmingham. In 2014, she told her family she was going on a school trip but flew to Turkey and crossed into Syria instead, funding the travel with tuition checks that she had secretly cashed.

The Obama administration canceled her citizenship in 2016, saying her father was an accredited Yemeni diplomat at the time she was born — a rare revocation of birthright citizenship. Her lawyers have disputed that move, arguing that the father’s diplomatic accreditation ended before she was born.
That’s proud dad Ahmed Ali Muthana, who in 2019 sued the U.S. government to make them bring his little girl home. He was represented by the Constitutional Law Center for Muslims in America (CLCMA), funded by the Muslim Legal Fund of America...
The Trump administration maintained that she was not a citizen and barred her from returning,
President Obama announced that decision in 2016. President Trump’s team merely executed it.
even as it pressed European allies to repatriate their own detained nationals to reduce pressure on the detention camps.

US courts have sided with the government on the question of Muthana’s citizenship, and last January the Supreme Court declined to consider her lawsuit seeking re-entry.

That has left her and her son languishing in a detention camp in northern Syria housing thousands of widows of ISIS fighters and their children.
Three ISIS husbands — the Australian and the Tunisian were both killed, then she divorced the third one — between whom managed to give her only one child.
