And current Kia and Hyundai owners are seeing huge increases in their renewal premiums.

[Garowe] The China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) and will start drilling 31 oil wells on four well pads at the Kingfisher field on the shores of Lake Albert.

The three other wells will be installed at Tilenga.
Uganda discovered crude reserves estimated at 6.5 billion barrels, with 1.4 billion recoverable nearly two decades ago in the western region in the Lake Albertine basin, Kingfisher and Tilenga oilfields.
Ugandan head of state switched on the rig — an LR8001 deluxe land rig — installed in November 2022 at the Pad-2 site at Buhuuka village, Kibuube District.
Globally the oil price is about $87.5 per barrel, the Kingfisher project will account for 15 percent of the total oil revenue to the government from upstream operations, equivalent to $6.9 billion for the entire project, or $360 million per year, Ernest Rubondo, the Executive Director of the Petroleum Authority of Uganda said.
The French TotalEnergies’ operated Tilenga Project — which will produce 190,000 barrels of oil per day — will account for 85 percent of the expected oil revenues.
The rig at Kingfisher will drill oil wells at varying depths, the shortest of which is about 2.6 kilometers, while the deepest is 7.4 kilometers, said Mr. Rubondo, adding that the oil field extends about three kilometers into the lake.
The project is expected to produce 40,000 barrels of oil per day in 2025, but CNOOC officials are optimistic they could deliver the first oil ahead of schedule.

Opposition figures say her trial is part of an effort by the authorities to curb dissent against President Kais Saied amid a parliamentary election in which low enthusiasm has undermined his claim of public support for his seizure of powers.
The first round of the election in December drew turnout of only 11 percent, prompting widespread ridicule among Saied’s opponents and new demands by the powerful labor union that he change tack.
The second round will come on Sunday, two days after Issa’s trial is due to begin and after a string of prosecutions of other critics of the president.
"The situation is very dangerous and disturbing because of the attacks on democracy," she said.
Saied, who was elected in a landslide in 2019, sent tanks to shut down parliament in 2021 before seizing most powers and rewriting the constitution, passing a new version last year in a referendum.
He said his actions were both legal and necessary to save Tunisia from years of economic stagnation and political bickering, and has labelled his foes traitors, calling for action against them.

[MSN] Bed Bath & Beyond said Thursday it doesn't have enough cash to pay down its debts and it has defaulted on its credit line with JPMorgan, warning once again of a potential bankruptcy.
Shares of Bed Bath plunged Thursday afternoon, prompting brief trading halts. The stock closed 22% down with a market cap of about $295 million, although it traded higher Friday morning.
In a securities filing, the struggling home goods retailer said it "does not have sufficient resources to repay the amounts under the Credit Facilities and this will lead the Company to consider all strategic alternatives, including restructuring its debt under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code."
Bed Bath is attempting to cut costs by lowering capital expenditures, closing stores and negotiating lease deals with its landlords but warned "these measures may not be successful."
The latest filing is another sign that time is running out for Bed Bath, as sales lag and debts pile up for the cash-strapped retailer. It comes at a time that
[CNBC] Hasbro said Thursday it would eliminate around 1,000 employee positions and warned of weak holiday-quarter results.
Shares of the toy maker fell more than 6% in extended trading.
"Despite strong growth in Wizards of the Coast and Digital Gaming, Hasbro Pulse, and our licensing business, our Consumer Products business underperformed in the fourth quarter against the backdrop of a challenging holiday consumer environment," said Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks.
The layoff of around 15% of its global workforce comes as the company seeks to save between $250 million and $300 million annually by the end of 2025.
Hasbro said it expects fourth-quarter revenue, which includes the holiday season, to reach $1.68 billion, down 17% compared to the year-earlier period. Estimates had called for Hasbro to reach $1.92 billion during the quarter, according to data from Refinitiv.
For the full year, the company foresees revenue hitting $5.86 billion, down 9% compared to 2021.
"While the full year 2022, and particularly the fourth quarter, represented a challenging moment for Hasbro, we are confident in our Blueprint 2.0 strategy, unveiled in October, which includes a focus on fewer, bigger brands; gaming; digital; and our rapidly growing direct to consumer and licensing businesses," Cocks said.

[GEO.TV] Nearly two years after Myanmar's military coup, the UN rights chief warned on Friday that the country had plunged into catastrophe, calling for the military to be brought under civilian oversight.
Since the coup that toppled Aung San Suu Kyi's civilian government on February 1, 2021, Myanmar has "by nearly every feasible measurement, and in every area of human rights One man's rights are another man's existential threat. ... profoundly regressed," Volker Turk said in a statement.
"Despite clear legal obligations for the military to protect civilians in the conduct of hostilities, there has been a consistent disregard for the related rules of international law," he said.
"Far from being spared, civilians have been the actual targets of attacks — victims of targeted and indiscriminate artillery barrages and air strikes, extrajudicial executions, the use of torture, and the burning of whole villages."
The UN rights office said at least 2,890 people had died at the hands of the military and its allies since the coup, pointing to credible sources.
Of those, "at least 767 were initially taken into custody", it said, adding that "this is almost certainly an underestimation of the number of civilians killed as a result of military action".
The military has also imprisoned the democratically elected leadership of the country, and more than 16,000 others, the rights office said.
Another 1.2 million people have meanwhile become internally displaced since the coup, while more than 70,000 have left the country.
They have joined more than one million others who have fled persecution in Myanmar over the past decades, including most of the country's Rohingya Moslem population.
"There must be a way out of this catastrophic situation, which sees only deepening human suffering and rights violations on a daily basis," Turk said.
He decried that the junta had treated a plan agreed with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), aimed at quelling the bloodshed and allowing humanitarian access, "with disdain".
Instead, "violence has spiralled out of control and humanitarian access has been severely restricted", he said.
Turk insisted that "those responsible for the daily attacks against civilians and the human rights violations must be held accountable".
"How can a military that purports to defend the country have brought their own people — from all parts of Myanmar's rich and diverse society — to such a point of desperation?" he asked.
"The military needs to be brought under real, effective civilian oversight."
