Alvin Bragg has been criticized for his soft-on-crime policies that let many career criminals back out on the streets to terrorize New Yorkers
Despite spending months going after Trump, Bragg's team has failed to take down some of NYC's worst repeat offenders, including several with 100+ arrests

In August, Mayor Eric Adams revealed that the same 10 criminals made up nearly 500 crimes and that 60 percent of them were still roaming the streets at that time.
Adams, who promised New Yorkers he would crack down on crime that had risen during the pandemic, criticized him, as well as State Governor Kathy Hochul.

I suspect this will end like the car chase in Back To The Future. Adams and/or Bragg will be cast in the Biff role and end up under the manure pile.

Presidential center has been billed as 'a historic opportunity to celebrates our nation's first African American President and First Lady'

[MSN] The victory caps a meteoric rise for [Brandon] Johnson, 46, a Cook County commissioner, an activist and a member of the Chicago Teachers Union, who in the first round of the mayoral race, held Feb. 28, had been polling in fifth place before he finished second, behind Vallas... Only ~500k votes total. I think there were about 2M eligible to vote: Johnson didn't disguise his agenda - he went straight forward to promise more taxes, fewer police, more propaganda in schools, etc.

Sometimes I wonder, were today's shit-hole cities (Pelosi's (née D'Alesandro) Baltimore, Rizzo's Phiily, Daley's Chi-town) all better off under the Mob back in the day? Do we prefer today's crime over yesteryear's? Perspective.

If there wasn't a clearer signal to get the heck out of Chicago (and Illinois in general...lovely taxes), it was Lori Lightfoot's reign. Of course, those who voted for her (and her successor) can stay.

Chicago, proof that voter stupidity has no limits. The new guy will ride the race card into deeper penetration of the federal pocket. The sad reality will be the story next year about the inner city being a food/shopping desert, as retail and grocery outlets will be reduced to the stop-and-rob level of high risk corner markets.

The Biden administration is doing everything possible and impossible to keep Donald Trump out of power in 2024
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has reclassified all 34 counts of former US President Donald Trump to criminal charges, Yahoo News reports. And this is despite the fact that even in the state of New York they are prosecuted only administratively, but for them the period of action is only two years.
So they came up with the idea of reclassifying it into a criminal one, like paying a porn actress in 2016 is an illegal donation from Trump to his campaign headquarters. Such perverted legal tricks.
Gay prosecutor Alvin Bragg, apart from being obsequious to the Washington swamp, cannot forgive Trump for his conservative values. It is strange that 50-100 fear-men did not appear who would have declared in unison that Donya had raped them. 2 times. One day. Bragg is married with two kidz.
You can treat Trump differently, but his merits for the world against the background of other American presidents are simply that he (unlike the others) did not unleash a single war and did not let the crazy witch Clinton seize power, otherwise a nuclear World War 3 would have been blazing for a long time ...
It's interesting that Trump was taken on so tightly, but with regard to Biden, he and his son probably outdid all US presidents in their crime and his deeds "are not noticed point-blank." I'm not only talking about Hunter's laptop, but also about the secret documents that Biden kept at home, which everyone forgot about.
The new term - "Trump Incident" - can be used by politicians and diplomats after charges were brought against former US President Donald Trump, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel on April 4.
"In the political and diplomatic dictionary, a new term is “Trump Case," the text of the message said.
She explained that the proposed phrase means pressure and criminal prosecution of the former American leader, "having political ambitions and plans for the future presidency."
Zakharova noted that the actions of the White House in this case coincide with the claims that the United States makes against sovereign countries on similar grounds.
In addition, according to the representative of the Foreign Ministry, in the case of this term, we are also talking about the “political zugzwang of liberalism” (“zugzwang” is a stalemate in checkers and chess. - Note IA REGNUM ).
As REGNUM reported , on March 31, Maria Zakharova wrote that in the United States, presidents cannot feel safe , since even they could face imprisonment, referring to the persecution of Donald Trump.
So, she reacted to the statement of the coordinator of strategic communications at the US National Security Council, John Kirby, that "in Russia, American journalists do not feel safe, because they could face imprisonment."

all 34 counts are for falsifying biz records, no charge of conspiracy
somehow the theory is that this falsification was done to violate another law but I can't figure out what that law was

So the early leak of the charges were leaked by the same reporter that leaked the Russian dossier. The deep state needs to get flushed back into the septic tank they came from..

Could the underlying crime be that Daniels was blackmailing, so Trump’s attempt to cover that crime up is the compounding crime that makes the alleged fraud felonies?

An interesting protest would be for hordes of Americans to sue Joe Biden simultaneously in Small Claims courts for the loss in value of their retirement or for the gas price increase.

Leaders around the world are saying the US is no longer a Democracy.

The USA is supposed to be a republic. Democracy has failed everywhere it has been attempted. The founders knew that when they wrote the Constitution.

Foreign opinion- There has been so many changed world leaders that I am not sure that I would recognize many of them. If it is Trudeau and/or Macron talking smack, they are doing stand-up comedy. If “world leaders” means Schwab/Soros and the globalists, they have already written a check that we intend to cash. Mostly, patriotic Americans are focused on how to remove the group of bad actors has taken over our government. Some of us consider Ukraine to be a distraction; others believe the same bad actors are involved there. Other Americans want socialism. A group of Americans watch The Masked Singer.

Not so sure Republics have a good track record, either.

Not so sure Republics have a good track record, either.
Something I have been wondering about lately, do these things have a life cycle they go through or some sort of trajectory they follow? There were a whole lot of empires of various flavors that are no longer around.
America is the most interesting political experiment in the last 500 years. I'd hate to think we were fooking it up.
Former special agent Timothy Thibault has been accused by whistleblowers of trying to shut down the FBI investigation into Hunter Biden's laptop but denies having any involvement
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R, Florida) said that Melissa Morgan-Ransome's Twitter account suggests she might have first- or second-hand knowledge of internal DOJ matters
Also claims a number of her tweets 'can be construed as attempts to intimidate federal whistleblowers'
[Breitbart] Former Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) said Tuesday on MSNBC’s "Andrea Mitchell Reports" that "normal people" who are "traditional Republicans" will never vote for former President Donald Trump after his indictment. Some guys are easier to dislike than others. John is that guy.
Mitchell asked, "You were a governor, congressman, you know this whole landscape. How long is this going to last? What if there’s indictment on indictment? Does he build on the victimization? Does it help him with primary voters?"
Kasich said, "I think in this case, there are a lot of Republicans that say, is this really a legitimate and fair charge? Frankly, no one is above the law, but it will be interesting to find out how has everybody else been treated because a public figure shouldn’t have more scrutiny than anybody else. A lot of Republicans are like this is political. I talked with some folks this morning in the gym. We wish he would go away."
He continued, "When you look at Georgia, no Republican or Democrat that’s knowledgeable that doesn’t look at the Georgia grand jury or the documents case, which seems to be percolating even more. I think that’s kind of the end of it. I suppose Republicans could put up with this thing. We have to see how the trial goes. You have to see what happens with the press conference today with the prosecutor. How does Trump handle himself today?"
Kasich added, "I suspect that if Georgia comes back on the vote pressure scheme or either the document case, I think that’s going to be too much water for him to talk. But he is like the master of escape. We have to wait and see. Here is what I know: there’s no way the guy will be president. There’s no way these Independent voters and Republicans who are sort of normal people who are the traditional Republicans, let me say that. I don’t want to call anybody abnormal but traditional Republicans. There’s no way in a million years that those people are going to vote for him. So my view is, he will never be president."

If men like Biden and Fetterman can be elected then anything is possible. By the way Trump was elected President and Kasich was throw in the RINO pile in the primary.

Man has shown he lives in a bubble for years. However, Trump or DeSantis won't be prez because the voting system is rigged beyond anything recoverable.

This is exactly what was said repeatedly leading up to 2020 election. They could say it with absolute confidence as they all knew the fix was in. Nothing has changed since so we're gonna watch it all unfold once more.

I think the plan is to run candidates with strong local appeal against Trump in each primary state to make him appear less popular. They are likely still looking for an Ohio player for the game.

He may run. There is very little support for him left in Ohio. DeWine would campaign with him sealing his statewide doom. If Kasich runs his candidacy will be based on principle - the kind that is used in accounting.

[MAIL] Speculation of political bias is heightening surrounding Donald Trump's indictment after it was revealed the daughter of the judge presiding over the case worked for Vice President Kamala Harris' 2020 presidential run and a slew of other progressive campaigns.
Trump railed against Judge Juan Manuel Merchan in a social media rant ahead of his arraignment on Tuesday afternoon with a post claiming the judge is from a 'family of well known Trump haters.'
Loren Merchan, the 34-year-old daughter of the Manhattan judge, is partner and president of Authentic Campaigns, a progressive digital firm, and worked on several high-profile Democratic campaigns — including for President Joe Biden.
The work of the judge's daughter led to increased claims from former President Trump that the judge 'hates me' and that the Stormy Daniels hush money case against him in Manhattan is rigged, biased and part of the politicization and criminalization of the U.S. justice system.
Trump demanded just hours before his historic arraignment on Tuesday afternoon that the case in question be moved from Manhattan to the more Republican-friendly Staten Island.

Add to this the lawyer helping the DA with this was a Obama/Biden white house lawyer, then after Biden was was appointed to the DOJ. A year ago he left to work for the new NY DA when they started talking about charges for Trump.
