Depends on what you call progress. If your goal is to ruin California, you're well on your way.

Socialism has been marketing fake progress since the First Terror of the French Revolution, through the Holodomor, past the Great Leap Forward, by the War on Poverty and Killing Fields landing right into Newsom’s California under Tony Fauci’s Covid regime. The promise is always prosperity, but the delivery is always totalitarian control.

Hmmm, big urban encampments of vagrants of various flavors and lots of vacant commercial real estate - the obvious solution is to turn the empty malls and big box stores into indoor camps.

It would be a daily stampede to get a spot in the food court.
Human stampedes, turf wars between gangs at varying scales. Being indoors, the environment would be dimly light and humid with dripping water everywhere. Pretty much like any street scene in "Blade Runner" which, by the way, was set in 2019 Los Angeles.
[ZERO] According to the Washington Examiner, that foreign national is Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky.
Two of the recordings are allegedly between Joe Biden
"The 1023 produced to that House Committee redacted reference that the foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe and Hunter Biden allegedly has audio recordings of his conversations with them. Seventeen total recordings," Grassley said during a speech on the Senate floor.
"These recordings were allegedly kept as a sort of insurance policy for the foreign national in case he got into a tight spot. The 1023 also indicates that then-Vice President Joe Biden may have been involved in Burisma employing Hunter Biden," he continued. "More than that, the FBI made Congress review a redacted unclassified document in a classified facility. That goes to show you the disrespect the FBI has for Congress."
WASHINGTON — The FBI source who reported President Biden’s alleged role in a bribery scheme said that a Ukrainian businessman claimed to keep as “insurance” 15 audio recordings of first son Hunter Biden and two of Joe Biden, a Republican senator revealed Monday.
Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) made the staggering claim in a Senate floor speech after FBI Director Christopher Wray last week allowed House Oversight Committee members to see a redacted informant file about the claim that Hunter and then-Vice President Joe Biden received $5 million apiece to serve the interests of Burisma Holdings owner Mykola Zlochevsky.

They kept him on the payroll and did nothing with the info = coverup. Bill Barr will claim that he had no knowledge, but the guy was too well paid for him not to know.

A friend pointed out to me this morning "How can congress waste time on stuff like that when the have important things to do like look into the PGA/LIV merger?"
He was, of course, being sarcastic.

difficult to believe these recordings exist
the owner of the recordings could have sold them for $ millions and gotten amnesty and a nice life in a neutral country any time in the past few years but didn't

I think the guy was on the FBI payroll and didn’t have to worry about getting shot. Either he got spooked, or figured that his tapes were worthless if Joe was removed before he cashed in.

So someone unknown is alleged to have stated that someone unknown (except to the trustworthy Washington Examiner) is alleged to have said he has tapes that "suggest" something and that Joe "may" have done something.
Bombshell? Btw if you are in a high position you usually know your shit when getting bribed. You'd certainly wouldn't say anything that could get you in trouble because you will always assume that your conversations might be taped.

Joe was always the, or one of the, dumbest Senators. Recently we found out also the most corruptible. That's why Obama's team picked him for VP.

FBI now refusing to answer question by Ted Cruz about the document recently released and questions about the tape recordings. I listened to on of Biden discussing the firing of the Burisma investigator. It's very damning.

When I saw his statement about extorting a foreign government to stop an anti-corruption probe that threatened cash to Soros, I knew he was as dumb as he sounded as VP.

It is Grassley. I usually go through the roll call of the bad Dem bills looking for crossover betrayals. Grassley is not on the frequent flyers list.
The issue does make me ask this question: If the Ukrainians are bribing the Bidens, why not Lindsey Graham?
He certainly acts like he is bribed.

Lindsay is the guy they don't have to bribe because he's already all-in in hopes of being bribed in the future.
Needless to say, he isn't bright enough to understand it doesn't work that way...

If the Ukrainians are bribing the Bidens
Burisma was created by Putin puppet Ukr Pres Yanucovitch and his Moscow affiliated oligarchs to consolidate Ukr gas exploration and smother it. We know that Hunter Biden and Devon Archer received over $4 million from Burisma (and $3 million from the Moscow mayor's wife for another scheme). Who got the other ~1 million?
One thing that puzzled me was that by withholding the $1 billion aid until the Ukrainian prosecutor was fired and the investigation into Burisma and Hunter was squashed, Joe Biden was hurting Ukraine clean up corruption and helping Russian interests keep a grip on Ukraine. Then the 2022 invasion comes and Joe flips to the Ukrainian gov side both in rhetoric and aid. Did Joe not realize where the money ultimately came from? Did his staff not advise him of the subtleties of Ukrainian power politics?
[AmericanThinker] Does Obama pay for anything with his own money?
A memoir is a history of one's past. Mine includes attempts to reveal who Barack Obama really is — or isn't. I recently published my memoir at the age of eighty-one years: The Rubbish Hauler's Wife versus Barack Obama.
I have been chasing Obama since 2009, when I uncovered, while working as a licensed private investigator, that he has used a phony CT Social Security number his entire adult life. I was undaunted when my lawsuit to keep him off the Ohio presidential ballot in 2012 was dismissed, even though it is illegal to use a false Social Security number.
My book contains other investigations, but I found more juicy information about Obama to include, especially about the alleged purchase of the Magnum P.I. property on Oahu.
I note specifically: Hawaii television station KHON2 announced on March 19, 2015 that Marty Nesbitt bought the Waimanalo property, made famous in the television show Magnum P.I. for $8.7 million and that he is the "sole investor."
Nesbitt said that Obama was not a party to the transaction. It was listed then under Waimanalo Paradise LLC and still is. There was no sale to Obama.
But the news media informed us incorrectly in August 2022 that Obama had purchased that estate. The original 9,000–sq. ft. house was razed and will be replaced by three houses. The repair of a hundred-year-old seawall on the property, slipped through with the help of a legal loophole, has Hawaiians outraged. They said it affected their beaches and the environment.
The papers for the property at 41-505 Kalanianaole Hwy. were signed by Judy Grimanis, Nesbitt's assistant, who previously worked for Penny Priztker. Priztker, whose brother is now Governor of Illinois, was a prominent Obama fundraiser and U.S. secretary of commerce under Obama.

/\ His parental lineage and associations were long monitored by both British and US intelligence. An ideal recruit, he was or is a Klingon 'made man.' Of course he would obviously never soil himself with a British connection. The perfect split ethnicity for societal division and change needed for our own Deep State.
Just my guess, after some extensive observation and study.
[ZERO] Joe Rogan didn't hold back during a recent podcast, calling President Joe Biden a '****' for a career full of lies and international corruption. Rogan also condemned the establishment for holding former President Trump to a different standard.
Rogan was replying to guest Theo Von, who suggested that the president's handlers are to more blame for the sad, decrepit, national embarrassment Biden projects.
"It’s not cool to old people to do that to them," said Von, to which Rogan agreed - but argued that Biden is lucid enough to understand what's going on.
"He kind of does, and he’s kind of a cunt ... He's always been a cunt, though. You go back and listen to that guy lying about his education record and lying about his accomplishments and — like, he’s always been a problem."
"All the f------g stuff with his son and the ties to Ukraine and China and the money. The family, they got paid millions of dollars and everyone was trying to obscure it because, ’Well, better than Trump. Better than Trump,’" Rogan told comedian Theo Von, adding that he "can't take it anymore."
"If that guy was a Republican, they would be up his ass with a microscope."
"I mean, it’s wild stuff, man. They even got the FBI involved in telling Twitter to censor the information about the laptop. It’s crazy," Rogan continued, adding: "The media is overwhelmingly left-leaning, and if you have a left-leaning politician or a left-wing Democratic politician, and then you have this media that essentially works to support that person."
