'Big Pharma Dissident Karen Kingston Claims She is Forced to Flee Country To Save Life'
[Breggin] Karen Kingston appeared on our former TV show, ReFounding America, on Brighteon.com in March1 and then April2 of 2023. We liked and admired her, and I recall that she was a powerful reformer but not yet feeling the confidence that I encouraged her to have. She was coming up with new and important questions and information3 about the science and politics surrounding COVID, and exploring what seem like forbidden areas, such as nanoparticles.

Like many people, Karen was unnerved by Robert Malone’s attacks on good members of the health freedom movement, by his threats to use lawsuits, and by his $25 million lawsuit against us.

Ginger and I last spoke to Karen Kingston on Zoom, on July 23rd, 2023. We had scheduled an hour radio interview with her. Karen was coughing as she signed onto the interview, declaring that she was in Florida at a newly leased apartment that had either been sprayed by an exterminator or someone was poisoning her, and she didn’t know whom to trust. She said she had to get out of that apartment and couldn’t do the interview. We urged her to take care of herself as she signed off. Although we texted her later to ask how she was and to offer any assistance, we did not hear back from her.

Also, on July 23rd, Karen published her substack titled "Unlocked: The Intelligent and Brave Have Been Waiting for this Weapon."4 In it, she declared:

'Cowboy mentality' blamed for country's worsening suicide rate among men
Name calling won't solve it.
[FoxNews] Surgeon General Dr Vivek Murthy previously warned about 'epidemic of loneliness’.

A "cowboy mentality" of wanting to "man up" could be a factor in the epidemic of male loneliness, a New York University professor implied on Sunday.
Covid lockdown: Men and children hardest hit.
Professor Niobe Way spoke with the Washington Post in a story about the rise in an "alternative conception of American masculinity" to combat the lack of connection between men. When tackling the "epidemic of loneliness" plaguing the nation, Way suggested that it comes from the overly masculine way boys are raised.

"Niobe Way, a professor of developmental psychology at New York University and the author of ‘Deep Secrets: Boys’ Friendships and the Crisis of Connection,’ said many boys are raised with what she called ‘the cowboy mentality' – 'I can do it myself, I don’t need others’ – often perpetuated by ‘the father wanting the son to man up and not be so soft. … The whole model of getting help is part of so-called femininity,’" the article reads.
So the real problem is toxic masculinity, professor?

Harvard University Encourages Students to go on Food Stamps While Sitting on $53 Billion Endowment
[Gateway] Harvard University is encouraging their students to sign up for food stamps despite the fact that the school is sitting on an endowment that is worth over $50 billion dollars.

Harvard would prefer that their students get food assistance from American taxpayers than from the massive, tax-free nest egg they’re saving for a rainy day.

Do the people who run Harvard have any shame?
No. That's why they work so well in the Federal Government

#2  I happened to catch a few minutes of CBS this morning. They had a reporter in Ukraine admitting the counteroffensive has slowed...as if it had ever gotten going in the first place. They showed Zelensky giving a brave, brave wounded Ukrainian soldier a medal. Then they showed what they said was a playground that was now a crater due to those bad, bad Russian attacks on civilian targets. They showed Putin speaking and said he criticized the West for igniting the flames of war but then they claimed that the ruble is collapsing and he is losing support in Russia after spending (b)millions on weapons...as if Biden hasn't spend a few billion on weapons for Ukraine. The report was totally one-sided and of dubious veracity. Joseph Goebbels would be proud. Ritter is right: CBS never interviews Russians about this war. NEVER.

And so the American people are being denied the facts they need to evaluate Joe Biden's actions in Ukraine. Too bad it isn't just Ukraine though. CBS never tells the whole truth about anything.

My husband works for UPS and I wish people could see how hard his job is ‐ and why the new $170,000 contract deal is well deserved
[Insider] This as-told-to essay is based on a conversation with Kourtney, a 30-year-old hairdresser and wife of a UPS driver in Rhode Island. Her last name has been omitted for privacy reasons. The following has been edited for length and clarity.

After the Teamsters union secured a win guaranteeing that UPS delivery drivers would make $170,000 in salary and benefits by the end of a 5-year period, people in tech and other white-collar workers had a lot to say about it. As the wife of a UPS driver, so do I.

Let's start with the facts. The $170,000 is not a base salary — it takes into consideration healthcare and pension benefits. But that's not even what bothers me most about people's reactions, which range from wondering why drivers would make that much money to calling them overpaid and undeserving.

I really want people to think about why they believe UPS workers don't deserve to be fairly compensated.

Europe
When Poland will stop sharing the skin of an unkilled Russian bear
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Stanislav Stremidlovsky

[REGNUM] On the eve of the military parade in Warsaw in honor of the Day of the Polish Army, which is celebrated today, August 15, the chairman of the Polish ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, explained why Poland is rearming so rapidly.

“Since ancient times, the principle has been: if you want peace, prepare for war,” Kaczynski said. We are preparing for war, but we want peace. And it is these efforts that should give us peace and the possibility of normal development.” By "these efforts" is meant the increase in spending on the armed forces from 37.5 billion zlotys in 2007 to 137 billion today.

The intrigue lies in the explanation of the leader of the ruling party as to why Warsaw has embarked on a feverish arms buying. “ To guarantee the security of Poland, we need alliances . But no one defends those who cannot defend themselves,” Kaczynski said.

The unions in which Poland is today are the EU and NATO. A certain skepticism regarding both the first and the second in Law and Justice has been expressed for more than a year. True, the “great Atlantic partner”, the United States, was previously mentioned, but, apparently, now they have ceased to inspire their former confidence. In the end, using the example of the Ukrainian conflict, Warsaw could see how the leading Western countries behave in our region.

During the special military operation, the Polish authorities closely observed the events taking place. The united anti-Russian front, which rallied the United States and Western Europe, gave Warsaw hope that Russia would quickly be defeated, sign a surrender, and then come to its disintegration within a few years.

Perhaps this can explain the unexpected contract concluded by the Polish government with Seoul for the supply of offensive equipment, including a thousand South Korean K2 tanks. Warsaw in this case got a chance to start a physical expansion to the east. But then something went wrong.

The victory over Moscow began to drag on. Against this background, “Law and Justice” could see how the Western “partners” of the Kyiv regime were supplying him with weapons in doses. Some European countries in this regard caused increased criticism from the ruling Polish party, which assessed how the "partners" delayed the shipment of products requested by Kiev, or sent equipment of little use. In particular, Warsaw had to make great efforts to assemble a coalition that forced Germany to agree to send their Leopard tanks.

Moreover, in Poland they began to suspect that Ukraine would not be accepted in the West anyway. Especially after the words of the President of the country, Andrzej Duda, that stopping "Russian imperialism" is cheap, because American soldiers do not die. This raised questions about whether the death of Polish soldiers would be an “expensive” or also “cheap” way to stop Russia.

Against this background, a curious confession was made by Kaczynski. According to him, Poland is in a sphere that Russia regards as its own. And there is only one way out of it - to become a strong state, including militarily. In fact, by doing so, Kaczynski equated Poland in geopolitical status with Ukraine.

Apparently, PiS concluded that NATO membership in the event of an armed conflict spreading to Poland would not help Warsaw much. Someone will not want to use Article 5 of the charter of the North Atlantic bloc for political reasons, someone will simply not be able to provide real assistance.

Guided by the aforementioned principle “if you want peace, prepare for war”, PiS relies on purely military means of protecting Poland. Although there was nothing to prevent Law and Justice from resorting to diplomacy, not trying to run ahead of a steam locomotive during a special military operation in Ukraine and share the skin of an unkilled Russian bear.

As a result, now Poland, proceeding from the logic of Kaczynski, is being thrown back into the past at the moment when it has not yet joined either NATO or the European Union, and it still needs to get out of the “zone of influence” of Russia. The only question is whether Warsaw has a historical time for this and whether a full barn with foreign weapons will help it.

Poland has a chance to get peace on its borders without preparing for war. The other day, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced the possibility of improving relations with Warsaw if the Poles want to do it.

In turn, the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee on International Affairs of the House of Representatives of Belarus, Tengiz Dumbadze , in an interview with Izvestia, stressed that Minsk is ready for a dialogue with Poland to normalize relations, despite the escalation of reports about Warsaw's plans to increase the military contingent on the eastern border of the state.

It is doubtful that Law and Justice will now accept the initiatives of the Belarusian side. In the current hot election campaign for elections to the Sejm and the Senate, the ruling party is exploiting the special concern of the Poles about the security of their country, which is seen in accelerated militarization.

But next year, if, of course, PiS manages to form a government for the third time, there is little chance that it will abandon its fruitless attempts to ignore Russia and Belarus when discussing a new security architecture in the region.

Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat.
