The security forces displaced the photos of the terrorist who said has abandoned the bad boy group's ideology of causing horrific acts of atrocities against the Somali people, Xinhua news agency reported.

American Woman Admits Involvement in 2012 Benghazi Attacks

The Washington Post reported that Fluke-Ekren
...that’s Allison Fluke-Ekren, mother of five, wife of three jihadis — sequentially, they kept getting killed, first the sniper, then the Bangladeshi drone expert, then the failed defender of Raqqa—teacher, home schooler, fluent in Arabic, Turkish, and Spanish. Two of the kids escaped her clutches, getting themselves to safety with her first husband — who was unromantically uninterested in jihad — in America...
led an all-female IS battalion, becoming the first American woman to receive a leadership role within the organization.

The New York Times also confirmed several details about her involvement in the attacks on the US Consulate in Benghazi in 2012.
Her first jihadi husband, Volkan Ekren, was Ansar al Sharia there, the local Al Qaeda connection.
She was among those who trained a number of attackers on the use of machine guns, and explosive devices. A verdict against her is expected on 25 October this year.

Gulf task force sanctions IRGC-linked individuals for financing terrorism, money laundering
[Rudaw] A regional task force on combatting the financing of terrorism and money laundering placed three individuals on a sanctions list for providing financial support to the Quds Force, the external arm of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and to Lebanese Hezbollah.

The three individuals identified as Ali Qasir, Meghdad Amini, and Morteza Hashemi are already on the US Treasury Department list and were named by the Terrorist Financing Targeting Center (TFTC), which consists of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...

...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Fifteen of the nineteen WTC hijackers were Saudis, and most major jihadi commanders were Saudis, to include Osama bin Laden. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman quietly folded that tent in 2016, doing terrible things to the guys running it, and has since been dragging the kingdom into the current century...
, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The center was created in order to enhance multilateral efforts between the US and Gulf countries to counter money laundering and terrorism financing networks in the region.

"These complex networks of intermediaries allow the IRGC-QF to obfuscate its involvement in selling Iranian oil. The IRGC-QF also relies on these individuals to launder money for Hizballah [Hezbollah] officials and front companies and to broker associated contracts," the Treasury Department said in a statement.

The Treasury Department said that Amini and Qasir directed a network of 20 individuals and front companies in multiple jurisdictions to facilitate the movement and sale of tens of millions of dollars’ worth of gold, electronics, and foreign currency to help the Quds Force and Hezbollah, both designated as foreign terrorist organization by Washington.

Hashemi on the other hand operated mostly in Hong Kong and China, and according to the Treasury Department, he used "his access to the international financial system to launder vast sums of money for the IRGC-QF and Hizballah [Hezbollah]." Hashemi also used Chinese nationals to open bank accounts and used these individuals to purchase "U.S.-origin, dual-use products for onward shipment to Iran."

All three individuals were sanctioned by the US in the past years for their roles in helping the IRGC-QF which was sanctioned by the US in 2007. The three individuals were amongst 16 individuals, entities and groups that were sanctioned including two groups operating out of Bahrain and reportedly directed by IRGC.

Oman, a member of the TFTC task force, has played a critical role in acting as an intermediary between Tehran and the world powers to revive the 2015 Iran

nuclear deal. It is not clear if Monday’s action in sanctioning the IRGC-linked individuals and groups will impact the way in which Iran perceives Oman.

An Iranian official from the oil ministry, who did not want to be named, told state-run agency IRNA that in the first two months of this Iranian year of 1401, which started on 21st of March, Tehran has managed to increase its oil revenue by 60 percent. In the first two months of last Iranian years, the revenue stood at 4.5 billion dollars but this year it jumped to 7.5 billion dollars.

Iran is currently at loggerheads with the ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) over traces of uranium found in at least two undeclared sites, with the agency pushing Iran to provide an explanation.

IDF accuses Hezbollah of gathering intelligence under guise of environmental group
[IsraelTimes] Military’s Arabic-language spokesperson publishes images of ’Green Without Borders’ post along Lebanon Hezbollahstan
...In 2020 Hezbollah blew up a considerable portion of Beirut and many of its inhabitants when its ammonium nitrate facility exploded. They blamed it on... somebody else. It wasn't them though. Trust them on that. And it ain't never coming to trial...
security fence, alleging it to be a front for the Iran-backed terror group.

The Israeli military on Wednesday accused the Lebanese Hezbollah terrorist group of conducting clandestine activities along the border with Israel under the guise of an environmental group known as "Green Without Borders."

The Israel Defense Forces has made similar claims in recent years, identifying several observation posts owned by the non-governmental organization, which the army said were actually being used to carry out intelligence and reconnaissance work for the Iran-backed terror group.

"Unveiled: A new frontier reconnaissance site for Hezbollah bandidos Death Eaters to collect intelligence on the Lebanese border under the guise of the Green Without Borders association," Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-language front man, said on Twitter.

In a series of tweets, Adraee attached photos of the alleged Hezbollah members taking pictures and observing Israel from a small structure on the border.

According to the IDF, the alleged Hezbollah position represents a violation of United Nations
...a formerly good idea gone bad...
Security Council Resolution 1701, which ended the 2006 second Lebanon war.

The resolution calls for gangs besides the official Lebanese military and peacekeeping United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) to remain north of the country’s Litani River.

In 2017, the United Nations rejected Israel’s claim that Hezbollah was using the NGO as a front for its activities.

At the time, UNIFIL said that while "Green Without Borders" members have planted trees in the area, it "has not observed any unauthorized armed persons at the locations or found any basis to report a violation of resolution 1701."

Adraee noted that the head of the IDF’s Northern Command said Tuesday that Hezbollah recently stepped up construction on military infrastructure near the border.

"Recently, Hezbollah has intensified construction on its posts right here along the border," said Maj. Gen. Amir Baram, at an annual ceremony commemorating those IDF soldiers who bit the dust in the Second Lebanon War.

"We can see the operatives approaching the border area. We know them: their names, where they come from and where they are working. When the time comes, they will pay the price," he said.

Baram vowed that the IDF will "destroy all the infrastructure" in question and "will reduce it to nothing."

Baram also directed a jab at UNIFIL: "Hezbollah is continuing to build its terrorist assets despite the presence of UNIFIL forces close to its positions."

But, he added, "Don’t worry, we never rely on anyone else for our safety."

The army in the past has accused UNIFIL of failing to stymie Hezbollah activity near the border, despite the terror group being banned from operating in the area.

Iranian Commander Threatens to Destroy Haifa, Tel Aviv

Iran will raze the cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa should its enemy Israel make any mistake, Commander of the Iranian army ground forces Kiumars Heydari threatened on Tuesday.

“For any mistake made by the enemy, we will raze Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground by the order of the Supreme Leader,” the semi-official Tasnim news agency quoted the Iranian commander as saying.

Heydari said all units of the army are being equipped with precision-guided, long-range and smart weapons, adding that the range of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and that the operational missiles of the army have increased.

He underlined that the military and defense achievements of the Iranian army are a thorn in the enemies' eyes.

“All this equipment is to respond to the stupid aggressions of the enemies of the Islamic Revolution,” Heydari noted.

The Army commander reiterated that the usurper Zionist regime has occupied Muslim lands and these lands will return to Islam in less than 25 years.

However, Heydari failed to refer to any of the security developments that shook Iran lately.

Last May 25, an engineer died and another employee was injured after an accident in a research center at the Parchin military site affiliated with Iran's Defense Ministry.

The next day, Iranian authorities confirmed the death of engineer Ehsan Ghad Beigi in an "industrial accident" at the military site.

The New York Times said that according to three Iranians with knowledge of the attack and to a US official, a drone strike targeted the highly sensitive military site outside Tehran where Iran develops missile, nuclear and drone technology.

The attack came four days after a senior member of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, Col. Sayad Khodayee, was assassinated in Tehran outside his home, according to a statement by the Guards.

NYT said Israel told the United States that it was behind his killing, according to one intelligence official.

The Israelis intended it as a warning to Iran to stop targeting Israeli citizens abroad, the official said.

Few days following the Parchin explosion, another commander of IRGC Quds Force died under suspicious circumstances in Karaj. There were conflicting reports concerning the reason for his death, his role at the IRGC and his link to Khodayee.

Later, reports revealed that Ayoob Entezari, a senior Iranian engineer who held a PhD in aerospace engineering and was reported dead under unclear circumstances early this month, had been intentionally poisoned in the city of Yazd.

A letter written by the governor called him a "martyr" and a picture allegedly showed officials paying a condolence visit to his home.

Khodayee’s killing and the Parchin bombing dealt a major blow to Iranian authorities, who tried to reduce Israel’s ability to carry out operations deep inside Iranian territory, especially after hardliner Ibrahim Raisi was elected President.

Alleged Israeli strike said to prevent Iran from landing weapon systems in Syria
[IsraelTimes] Attack on May 20 that hit the Damascus International Airport damaged runways, satellite imagery shows, reportedly keeping Iran
...They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
from landing Boeing 747 cargo planes

An unusual surface-to-surface missile attack targeting Damascus International Airport that took place two weeks ago and was attributed to Israel was successful in damaging some runways, preventing large cargo planes from landing at the airport.

As a result, Iran has been unable to land the Boeing 747 cargo planes it uses to deliver systems equipped with guidance technology for upgrading existing missiles into precision-guided missiles, Channel 12 news reported Tuesday.

Citing satellite imagery of the Syrian airport following the alleged attack, the report noted that runways at the site were bombed on both ends, shortening them significantly and preventing large planes from landing.

According to the report, the strategic strike achieved its purpose and helped address an issue of great concern for Israel — Iranian weapons and missile-improving systems shipped from Iran to its Lebanese proxy Hezbollah through Syria.

Israel has admitted to carrying out hundreds of sorties over Syria in the last decade, mostly to stymie attempts by the Islamic Theocratic Republic to transfer weapons or establish a foothold in a country that borders Israel.

The attack that hit the Damascus International Airport on May 20, however, was unusual in that it used surface-to-surface missiles launched from the Golan Heights, the Syrian state-run broadcaster SANA reported.

Three Syrian soldiers were reportedly killed in the strike, which was the second within a week to target the country.

The strike came hours after the Israel Defense Forces’ Arabic-language spokesperson accused the son-in-law of slain Iran Revolutionary Guards Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani
of smuggling weapons from Iran to its Lebanese proxy Hezbollah using civilian flights via Syria.

Avichay Adraee accused Iran and Hezbollah of "endangering civilians" by smuggling the armaments via civilian flights to Damascus International Airport in order "to maintain secrecy."

There was no immediate comment from the IDF following the strike.

Report: Iran turns off 2 of UN nuclear watchdog's cameras
[AnNahar] Iran
...The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both...
turned off two surveillance cameras of the United Nations
...where theory meets practice and practice loses...
' nuclear watchdog that monitored one of its atomic sites, state television
... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?
reported Wednesday.

The report did not identify the site, but it appeared to be a new pressure technique by Tehran as Western nations seek to censure Iran at a meeting this week of the ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency.

The Iranian state television
... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?
report described the two cameras as monitoring "OLEM enrichment levels and flowmeters." That appeared to refer to the IAEA's Online Enrichment Monitors, which watch the enrichment of uranium gas through piping at enrichment facilities.

Iran currently is enriching at both its Fordo and Natanz underground nuclear sites.

"The Islamic Theocratic Republic of Iran has so far had extensive cooperation with the ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency," state TV said in its report. "Unfortunately, the agency, without considering this cooperation ... not only did not appreciate this cooperation, but also considered it as a duty of Iran."

Tehran said its civilian nuclear arm, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, monitored the shutdown of the cameras. It said 80% of the existing cameras are IAEA "safeguard" cameras and they will continue to operate as before.

The Vienna-based IAEA declined to immediately comment.

Iran already has been holding footage from IAEA surveillance cameras since February 2021 as a pressure tactic to restore the atomic accord.

Iran and world powers agreed in 2015 to the nuclear deal, which saw Tehran drastically limit its enrichment of uranium in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions. In 2018, then-President Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
unilaterally withdrew America from the accord, raising tensions across the wider Middle East and sparking a series of attacks and incidents.

Talks in Vienna over Iran's tattered nuclear deal have been stalled since April. Since the deal's collapse, Iran runs advanced centrifuges and has a rapidly growing stockpile of enriched uranium. Nonproliferation experts warn Iran has enriched enough up to 60% purity — a short technical step from weapons-grade levels of 90% — to make one nuclear weapon if it choose.

Iran insists its program is for peaceful purposes, though United Nations experts and Western intelligence agencies say Iran had an organized military nuclear program through 2003.

Building a nuclear bomb would still take Iran more time if it pursued a weapon, analysts say, though they warn Tehran's advances make the program more dangerous. Israel has threatened in the past it will carry out a preemptive strike to stop Iran — and already is suspected in a series of recent killings targeting Iranian officials.

In a statement Tuesday to the IAEA, La Belle France, Germany and the United Kingdom warned the moves taken by Tehran are "further reducing the time Iran would take to break out towards a first nuclear weapon and it is fueling distrust as to Iran's intentions."

"The IAEA has been without crucial access to data on centrifuge and component manufacturing for a year and half now," the statement warned. "This means that neither the agency, nor the international community, know how many centrifuges Iran has in its inventory, how many were built, and where they may be located."

The countries urged Iran "to stop escalating its nuclear program and to urgently conclude deal that is on the table."

But just before the camera announcement, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran had insisted the country had no secret nuclear activity and accused the West of making a "political move" by trying to censure his country.

"Iran has had maximum cooperation with the IAEA," Mohammad Eslami said, according to the state-run IRNA news agency.

Syrian Opposition Tasks Local Military Councils with Liberating Manbij, Tal Rifaat

Opposition factions affiliated with the Ankara-backed Syrian National Army (SNA) have assigned recently formed military councils in the Aleppo countryside cities of Tel Rifaat and Manbij to lead military operations, in cooperation with Turkish forces, to liberate the two cities from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

“In line with important military developments in northern Aleppo and preparations for the new military operation by SNA factions and Turkish forces to liberate Tal Rifaat and Manbij from the (SDF), the task of commanding military operations was entrusted to the recently formed military councils in these two cities,” said Adnan Abu Faisal, the leader of Manbij’s military council.

According to Faisal, the military councils of Manbij and Tal Rifaat were given the task for their knowledge of the nature of the region.

“The main objective is to lead the battle to liberate Tal Rifaat and Manbij from SDF forces in cooperation with ally Turkish forces,” said Faisal, adding that opposition forces will also seek protecting the two cities and their civilians from any sabotage operations or violations that may be carried out by groups or sabotage cells affiliated with unknown parties.

Moreover, opposition forces will direct engineering teams to remove the remnants of war.

Faisal pointed out that the population of Manbij is about 120,000 people, “most of whom are Arabs.”

“All SNA factions have announced during the last hours their combat readiness, and they are waiting for the zero hour to launch the military operation, jointly with the Turkish forces, against the SDF,” said an opposition leader.

Planned military operations against the SDF will take place in Manbij, Tal Rifaat and neighboring villages, the leader revealed.

Local activists reported that “hundreds of civilians in the village of Awn al-Dadat in the northern countryside of Manbij, protested against the SDF.”

Protesters denounced SDF practices and its continued planting of landmines in civilian areas.
