Islah Party militias believed to receive military support from Turkey
[HODHODYEMENNEWS] The Islah party, (the Yemen

i branch of the Moslem Brüderbund), has received military support believed to be from The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
in conjunction with the escalation of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia’s mobilization in Hadhramaut governorate.

Activists on social media circulated pictures of one of the "Islah" recruits carrying an anti-drone electronic rifle.

It seems that the aim of obtaining these electronic rifles is not to repeat what happened in Shabwah governorate in southern Yemen, when Emirati drones launched a series of raids on the sites and gatherings of the "Islah" forces.

The UAE strikes left heavy casualties in the rink of the Islah snuffies and led to the collapse of its forces in the face of attacks carried out by the UAE-backed militias.

However,
some people cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go...
specialists confirmed that electronic guns are intended for small drones and are unable to deal with advanced drones.

This comes in light of the STC’s mobilization of its forces to attack the first military region loyal to "Islah" in the districts of Wadi Hadhramaut, with the aim of overthrowing and taking controlling over it.

Saudi-led forces accused of engaging in sex trafficking and forces prostitution of refugees
[HODHODYEMENNEWS] Displaced women in camps on Yemen

’s western coast on Tuesday accused the government, loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, of turning the camps into prostitution and sex trafficking headquarters, according to Yemen News Portal.
If their menfolk lack the power and ability to defend them, they’re meat for cats, who respond in accordance with their nature.
Activists circulated on social media videos of several girls talking about the administration of the IDP camps on the west coast distributing sexual objects to displaced women and forcing them to commit adultery under duress.

One victim noted that the director of the administration in al-Khokha , Najib al-Saadi, was forcibly pressuring displaced women to have sex.

Earlier this week, a massive fire broke out in al-Jisha camp in al-Khokha district, which is under the control of Tariq Saleh’s forces, which are accused of committing rape crimes, in an attempt to hide evidence and force the displaced people to leave the city, while activists described it as a Dire Revenge operation.

Group of young Yemeni women trained in UAE arrives in occupied Socotra
[HODHODYEMENNEWS] About 25 Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
i girls returned on Wednesday to the occupied Yemeni island of Socotra after being trained in UAE to complete a security and intelligence course.

Sources familiar with the island stated that the girls underwent intensive security courses in Abu Dhabi since the beginning of last September, after they were carefully selected by the Khalifa Foundation, the UAE intelligence arm in Socotra last August.

The sources indicated that the UAE has worked to attract girls between the ages of "15-22 years" during the past three years, and to convince their families who receive financial and food assistance through the "Khalifa Foundation" that the girls will have fixed salaries in UAE dirhams.

In 2019, the UAE recruited the first batch of Socotra girls, who received security training and courses at the hands of Emirati and foreign officers, believed to be Americans and Israelis.

The UAE continues its activities by obliterating the Yemeni identity on the island of Socotra, and destroying the rare natural and marine environment, by establishing a joint military base with the Israeli navy and centers for control and marine reconnaissance in a number of areas of the island since 2020.

Turkey grants Kurdish lawyer ‘protection’ after being targeted over Istanbul blast: Minister
[Rudaw] Ottoman Turkish authorities have issued a "protection order" for a Kurdish female lawyer after she was falsely accused of being the main perpetrator of the recent deadly explosion in Istanbul by a far-right politician, said The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire...
’s justice minister on Wednesday.

A TNT explosion killed six people and injured 81 others in Istanbul’s famous Taksim thoroughfare on Sunday. Police published the CCTV footage of a woman who was believed to be the main suspect of the incident.

Immediately after the earth-shattering kaboom, Adem Taskaya, deputy leader of the far-right Victory Party, claimed in a tweet that the woman in the footage was Jiyan Tosun, a Kurdish lawyer.

"The person who carried out the heinous attack in Taksim is Jiyan Tosun who is a PKK lawyer," he claimed. But after Ottoman Turkish authorities identified the woman in the CCTV as a 23-year-old Syrian woman named Ahlam Albashir, Taskaya deleted the tweet.

PKK is an gang struggling for the increased rights of Kurds in Turkey. Ankara considers it a terrorist organization.

Tosun told news hounds on Monday that she had been receiving threats by people and had been targeted on social media due to Taskaya’s tweet. She later filed a lawsuit against the politician.

Ottoman Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag, attending a budget discussion at the parliament on Wednesday, said that a "protection order" has been issued to ensure the safety of the lawyer, reported the independent Duvar news outlet.

Ra’am open to cooperate with Netanyahu as cracks deepen in outgoing coalition
[IsraelTimes] Islamist party’s chief Abbas says wants to work with any coalition that is formed; National Unity, Yesh Atid squabble over Lapid’s leadership of expected opposition in new Knesset.

Ra’am chief Mansour Abbas on Wednesday indicated his Islamist party could cooperate with the right-religious coalition that Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu is working to assemble, as other factions in the outgoing coalition publicly feuded.

At a conference hosted by the Anti-Defamation League, Abbas was asked about the prospects of his party working with the prospective new government, which along with Netanyahu’s Likud party includes ultra-Orthodox and far-right factions.

"We want to work with any government that is formed so we can complete the plans we started with," he said, referring to Ra’am’s efforts on behalf of Arab Israelis in the last government.

Abbas also stressed his party’s "willingness to accept the other" and work with a diverse range of factions, after the interviewer noted to him that members of Netanyahu’s bloc regularly denounced Ra’am as "terror supporters" over the past year, though it has repeatedly condemned terror.

"We don’t have to agree on everything. We, as citizens of the State of Israel, need to work with the elected Israeli government," he added.

The remarks suggested Abbas was softening his opposition to Netanyahu, after pledging in September not to back the Likud leader’s bid to put together a coalition after the election.

However,
by candlelight every wench is handsome...
it seems unlikely that any cooperation between Ra’am and Netanyahu’s presumptive coalition would be extensive, due to Likud’s partnership with the far-right Religious Zionism, whose leader Bezalel Smotrich has ruled out allying with, or even seeking support from, the Islamist party.

Israel’s 25th Knesset was sworn in Tuesday, but the outgoing ministers will continue to serve in their roles until a new coalition is established. Netanyahu has been pressing to form a government as quickly as possible, and originally had hoped to swear in Israel’s 37th government alongside the Knesset.

Israel revokes entry permits from hundreds of relatives of Ariel terrorist
[IsraelTimes] Military’s liaison to Paleostinians says move, approved by defense minister, part of year-long policy to dissuade potential attackers

The military’s liaison to the Paleostinians on Wednesday said it had revoked the entry permits to Israel from hundreds of family members of a terrorist who killed three Israelis and maimed others a day earlier near a West Bank industrial zone.

On Tuesday morning, 18-year-old Muhammed Souf went on a stabbing and car-ramming spree at the Ariel Industrial Park and on a nearby highway, killing three and wounding three others seriously.

The three victims were named as Tamir Avihai, 50, Michael Ladygin, 36, and Motti Ashkenazi, 59.

In a statement, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) — the Defense Ministry body responsible for Paleostinian civil affairs — said the decision to revoke some 500 permits was made following an assessment held by Defense Minister Benny Gantz.

COGAT said Gantz approved the move "in accordance with the policy employed in the past year."

Maj. Gen. Ghassan Alian, head of COGAT, has previously said the policy is intended to dissuade Paleostinians from planning terror attacks, as doing so will harm their extended family’s livelihood. Critics have called it collective punishment.

According to COGAT, more than 3,000 work permits belonging to family members of Paleostinian bully boyz have been revoked in the past year.

Previously, only more immediate family members would have their entry and work permits to Israel revoked, following background checks that would determine they have ties to terrorists.

Souf, the attacker, was a resident of Hares, a town of about 3,500 residents, worked in the Ariel industrial zone and had a valid permit, but not one to enter Israel. Souf did not have any prior security offenses, a defense source told The Times of Israel.

He was rubbed out by soldiers and armed civilians some 20 minutes after beginning his rampage.

Early Wednesday morning, the military made preparations for the demolition of his home.

Hodhod Yemen News’s take on the story:
Palestinian resistance fighter martyred after reportedly killing three Zionist settlers

Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a Paleostinian youth over carrying out an alleged stabbing operation that resulted in killing three Israeli settlers and wounding three others near an illegal settlement in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday afternoon.

The Paleostinian Health Ministry confirmed that 18-year-old Mohammad Murad Souf was rubbed out by Israeli occupation forces today.

The slain Paleostinian was killed over allegedly carrying out a stabbing and car-ramming operation that killed three Israeli settlers and injured three more near the Israeli settlement of Ariel, to the northwest of Salfit.

The Paleostinian youth attacked Israeli settlers at two different locations in the Ariel settlement area near the Paleostinian city of Salfit, Israeli forces claimed, adding he then expeditiously departed at a goodly pace in a vehicle and caused a car crash, before he got out and was rubbed out by Israeli soldiers.

Following the incident, Israeli occupation forces reportedly raided Souf’s hometown. The forces then stormed his family house and besieged its residents inside before attacking and interrogating them.

White House tells Israel Justice Dept opened Abu Akleh probe without its knowledge
[IsraelTimes] Administration seeks to soften blow of FBI
...Formerly one of the world's premier criminal investigation organizations, something for a nation to be proud of. Now it's a political arm of the Deep State oligarchy that is willing to trump up charges, suppress evidence, or take out insurance policies come election time...
investigation into Paleostinian-American news hound’s killing, Israeli official says, speculating that ramifications will be minimal

Taqiya. Let us review the relationship between the Justice Department and the White House: Constitutionally speaking, both are part of the executive branch. However, the president is also referred to as the chief executive, which means that he is the boss of the Justice Department, and therefore has the final say on everything the Justice Department is considering doing — if you have any questions, PM-in-waiting Bibi Netanyahu was working toward a PhD in political science at Harvard, so he can no doubt explain to you the intricacies of the American system. So, Mr. President, now that you are aware of this little probe, do you support it or will you shut it down?
The White House informed Israeli counterparts that it was not involved in the decision to open an FBI investigation into the killing of Paleostinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, an Israeli official told The Times of Israel on Wednesday.
"I read about it in the news" said President Obama Biden
The message appeared aimed at blunting Israeli fury over the investigation by assuring Jerusalem that the decision did not come from the top of the administration, the official speculated, confirming a report on the Axios news site, which revealed that even US Ambassador to Israel Tom Nides was initially unaware of the development.

Even if the nuances surrounding the circumstances of the US decision were enough to satisfy the outgoing Israeli government led by centrist Prime Minister Yair Lapid, they are unlikely to impress the incoming government led by Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu, which is shaping up to be far more hawkish on issues pertaining to the Paleostinians.

Regardless, the Israeli official, speaking on condition of anonymity
... for fear of being murdered...
, speculated that the "practical implications of the investigation will be minimal," given that the US already recognizes that Abu Akleh’s shooting was unintentional, even if it was an IDF soldier who was likely responsible.

Lapid and outgoing Defense Minister Benny Gantz have also made it clear that Israel will not cooperate with the probe, further tying the hands of the FBI Sherlocks.

The 51-year-old Abu Akleh, who was wearing a vest marked "Press" and a helmet, was rubbed out on May 11 during festivities between Israeli troops and Paleostinian button men that broke out after soldiers conducted a raid in the northern West Bank’s Jenin refugee camp, in the context of a wider terror crackdown.

For months, the Biden administration, the same old faces in slightly different places, the same old ideas, the same old graft
...the pack of self-imagined masterminds of strategy and intrigue at the service of the Biden Crime Family and a grateful nation...
refused to launch its own investigation, instead relying on probes conducted by Israelis and Paleostinians. Washington went on to reach the same conclusion determined by the IDF, that Abu Akleh was hit by a bullet likely shot by an Israeli soldier by mistake. The Paleostinian Authority has alleged that she was intentionally targeted.

While the decision to open a probe initially appeared to demonstrate an about-face from the White House, the latter’s insistence that it was not behind the move indicates that the Justice Department made the decision on its own.

While such investigations are relatively rare, there is certainly precedent for the FBI to probe the death of an American citizen abroad.

It is not unusual for the FBI or other US Sherlocks to mount probes into non-natural deaths or injuries of American citizens abroad, particularly if they are babus government employees. However,
a person who gets all wrapped up in himself makes a mighty small package...
such separate investigations are not the rule and it is rare, if not unprecedented, for them to occur in a US-allied country like Israel that is recognized in Washington as having a credible and independent judiciary.

A White House National Security Council spokeswoman said Monday, "Our thoughts remain with the Abu Akleh family as they grieve this tremendous loss. Not only was Shireen an American citizen, she was a fearless news hound whose journalism and pursuit of truth earned her the respect of audiences around the world."

Israeli parts [among others] found in Iranian drones used by Russia - WSJ
[Jpost] Western-made components have been finding their way to Iran through front companies and proxies in third countries.
But wait — there’s more!
Israeli-made infrared lenses, along with over 200 other components from the US, Europe and other allied nations, have been found in Iranian drones used by Russia in its invasion of Ukraine, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.

About three-quarters of the components of the drones were American-made, according to Ukrainian documents shown to WSJ by the Kyiv-based nonprofit Independent Anti-Corruption Commission (NAKO). Ukrainian investigators made the discovery while examining downed Iranian-made drones, including a Mohajer-6 which was hacked mid-flight and landed intact.

Out of over 200 technical components in the captured Mohajer-6, about half were made by US-based firms and about a third were made by companies in Japan. The servomotors in the drone were made by Japan’s Tonegawa-Seiko Co. according to the report.

The Tonegawa-Seiko Co. was charged last year by Japan's Trade Ministry for exporting servomotors to China without a permit after UN investigators found one in an Iranian drone. The company claimed that it did not know they would be used in military drones.

Parts from the German-owned Infineon Technologies AG and Arizona-based Microchip Technology Inc. were found in the drone as well.

The high-resolution telescopic infrared lens used in the Mohajer-6 appears identical to a model made by the Israeli firm Ophir Optronics Solutions Ltd., according to photos of the device examined by WSJ. MKS Instruments Inc., Ophir’s parent company, told the newspaper that it does not sell parts to Iran and abides by sanctions.
Aaaaaaaand heeere’s the buried lead:
The report stressed that many of the parts found in the drones are not under export controls and can be easily bought online and shipped through other countries to Iran.

Ukrainian intelligence initially suspected that the infrared camera found on the Mohajer-6 was manufactured by the Oregon-based Sierra-Olympic Technologies Inc., which uses Ophir lenses. Chris Johnston, the founder of the company, told WSJ that while part of the device appears the same, other parts are different, suggesting it didn't come from his company.

Johnston added that the parts could have been obtained from Western aircraft downed in Iraq and Afghanistan or from intermediaries who violated US sanctions.

The Israeli Defense Ministry responded to the report on Wednesday evening, stating that Israel is reviewing the findings and that a preliminary review had found that the lens in question is not a controlled defense item nor a dual-use item.

Series of reports warn Western parts found in Iranian drones

The findings are the latest in a string of reports and analyses concerning the presence of Western-made components in Iranian drones.

Earlier this month, Schemes, the investigative unit of RFE/RL's Ukrainian Service, found components on a Mohajer-6 drone originating from at least 15 different technology companies from North America, the EU, Japan and Taiwan, including parts from the US-based Texas Instruments firm. Texas Instruments replied that it does not sell parts to Russia, Belarus, or Iran.

Schemes report pointed out that Iran has a global procurement network built out of front companies and other proxies in third countries. "Exporters will look at the request coming from the [United Arab Emirates] or another third country, and they'll think that they're selling to an end user based there, when really the end user is in Iran," Daniel Salisbury, a senior research fellow with the Department of War Studies at King's College London, told RFE/RL.

In October, CNN and Ukrainian media reported that a Mohajer-6 downed over the Black Sea was found to have engines made by the Canadian Rotax company. After an investigation conducted with a partner in Ukraine, the company announced earlier this month that it had identified the engine and was able to confirm that it was not sold by any of its distributors to Iran or Russia.

Additionally in October, the Institute for Science and International Security analyzed open-source information from downed and captured Iranian drones used by Russia in its ongoing invasion of Ukraine and found parts originating from Austria, Germany, the UK and the US. The Western-made parts were key components in the Shahed-136, Shahed-131, and Mohajer-6 drones.

"A priority is to understand how foreign parts are ending up in Iranian drones," recommended the institute. "Discovering Iranian procurement networks can start with the Western suppliers, who would be expected to cooperate with authorities. From there, authorities need to systematically expose Iran’s procurement network, identifying trading companies, distributors, shipping companies, agents friendly to Iran, and ultimately those in Iran organizing these purchases. In parallel, governments should rip out 'root and branch' these procurement networks as they are discovered."

The institute additionally recommended that the JCPOA nuclear deal not be revived unless Iran stops exporting drones and that the expired UN arms embargo against Iran be reinstated.

Israel deploys remote-controlled robotic guns in West Bank
[AnNahar] In two volatile spots in the occupied West Bank, Israel has installed robotic weapons that can fire tear gas, stun grenades and sponge-tipped bullets at Paleostinian protesters.

The weapons, perched over a crowded Paleostinian refugee camp and in a flashpoint West Bank city, use artificial intelligence to track targets. Israel says the technology saves lives — both Israeli and Paleostinian. But critics see another step toward a dystopian reality in which Israel fine-tunes its open-ended occupation of the Paleostinians while keeping its soldiers out of harm's way.

The new weapon comes at a time of heightened tensions in the occupied West Bank, where unrest has risen sharply during what has been the deadliest year since 2006. The victory by former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's hard-line alliance, which includes an extreme right-wing party with close ties to the settler movement, has raised concerns of more violence.

Iran releases Greek tankers seized in May
[AnNahar] Iran
...They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
has released two Greek tankers seized in May in retaliation after an Iranian crude oil cargo was held in Greece, the Greek merchant marine ministry said Wednesday.

"After months-long talks with Iran, the Greek-flagged ships Prudent Warrior and Delta Poseidon seized since May 27 left today," the ministry said in a statement.

Greece's deputy merchant marine minister was in Tehran Wednesday to broker the agreement, the ministry said.

Most of the 50 sailors on board the two vessels had already been replaced weeks earlier.

The row began after a Russian-flagged tanker carrying Iranian crude was seized in April near Athens at the behest of the U.S. Treasury.

Greece said at the time it was enforcing sanctions imposed on Russia following its invasion of Ukraine in February.

When Athens said it would deliver the oil to Washington, Iranian helicopters landed commandos on the two tankers, which were taken to the port of Bandar Abbas.

One of them, the Delta Poseidon, was sailing in international waters at the time, the Greek foreign ministry said in May.
