[FOX] A suspect in Georgia armed with a crossbow allegedly shot and injured another person in Atlanta, according to authorities.
The victim is in stable condition at a local hospital, Atlanta Police said.
Officers arrived at Rockwood Ave. Saturday night at about 10:30 p.m. after they were alerted that a person had been shot. The shooting, police were told, took place in another area.
Police were told the suspect carried out the shooting on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway using a "bow and arrow," Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
The victim was standing near a convenience store when the shooter drove up in a gold minivan and exited the vehicle armed with a "crossbow," according to police.
The suspect allegedly fired the weapon and struck the victim in the chest. The victim did not cooperate with investigators, but was conscious when taken to a hospital, according to police.

Authorities say Muhammed sped through residential streets before hitting McHerron’s vehicle that contained five people inside. It happened at the intersection of 53rd and Humboldt Avenues North after the pursuit began around 5:30 p.m.
Blessings died from her injuries — while a 15-year-old family member remains in the hospital.
"My heart is filled with anger," McHerron said. "And I ask god. I want y’all to just pray for us and pray for my family. Especially me because my heart is filled with so much anger."

Sundberg’s parents attended the rally and sympathized with Yarbrough.
"I wish I could wrap my arms around her and tell her I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry she had to experience that I’m so sorry for her pain," Cindy Sundberg said.

Sperrazza told the paper that while the NJDOC continues to operate under the policy, "the department is currently reviewing the policy for housing transgender incarcerated persons with the intention of implementing minor modifications."
Minor is eligible for parole in 2037, the paper reported, citing NJDOC.

Most curious. Bakanov, head of the Ukr equivalent of the KGB, is a childhood friend of Zelensky and is famous for being both corrupt and incompetent. The prosecutor, Venediktova, seems to be a straight arrow.
There is a story going around that the Russians have "accquired" a HIMARS system. Being a truck itself, it is too large to simply "fall off a truck" so the Rus just happened to find it when the Ukr forces retreated for a day. My personal theory, based on no evidence whatsoever, is that these two were somehow involved in the "transfer".

[Breitbart] Russia is using Europe’s largest nuclear power plant as a base to store weapons including “missile systems” and shell the surrounding areas in Ukraine, an official with Kyiv’s nuclear agency said Friday, while nearly the entire country was placed on air raid alert.
The president of Ukrainian nuclear agency Energoatom said the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant was “extremely tense”, with up to 500 Russian soldiers controlling the plant.
“The occupiers bring their machinery there, including missile systems, from which they already shell the other side of the river Dnipro and the territory of Nikopol,” Petro Kotin said in a televised interview, referring to the city across the water.
The plant in southwestern Ukraine has been under Russian control since the early weeks of Moscow’s invasion, though it is still being operated by Ukrainian staff.
The most recent attack in the Dnipro region left three dead and 15 wounded after Russian “missiles hit an industrial enterprise and lively street nearby”, regional governor Valentin Reznichenko said on Telegram.
The threat of air raids across most of Ukraine was also raised after strikes were reported in areas far from the front lines, with President Volodymyr Zelensky saying the Russian objective was to “cause maximum damage to Ukrainian cities”.
“I’m urging you, once again: please don’t ignore the air raid signals now,” he said in his daily televised address.
Zelensky spoke after devastating Russian strikes in the central Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia killed nearly two dozen people, including three children, with rescue workers clearing debris throughout the day to locate survivors.
Four people were still missing and over 200 wounded, Zelensky said.

Court of Queen’s Bench Justice Paul Belzil ruled that Edmonton, Alberta woman Annette Lewis had not had her fundamental character of Rights and Freedoms rights violated by being denied an organ transplant over her vaccination status.
According to Justice Belzil, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms has no bearing on the treatment decisions of doctors for organ transplants, despite the transplant being diagnosed by medical professionals as the only way for Ms Lewis to survive a progressive disease she suffers from, broadcaster CBC reports.
Doctors diagnosed Lewish with her disease in 2018 and in 2020 urged her to receive various vaccinations, which she agreed to, however, she did not agree to receive the Wuhan coronavirus vaccine and was told without the vaccine she would not receive her potentially life-saving transplant.
"Taking this vaccine offends my conscience," Lewis said an a sworn affidavit and added, "I ought to have the choice about what goes into my body and a life-saving treatment cannot be denied to me because I chose not to take an experimental treatment for a condition — COVID-19 — which I do not have and which I may never have."
While Justice Bezil agreed that Lewis was the sole arbiter of what she put into her own body, he claimed that no one has an inherent right to an organ transplant.
"The proposition that treating physicians exercising clinical judgment would be subject to the charter would result in medical chaos with patients seeking endless judicial review of clinical treatment decisions," he added.
The court ruling is not the first involving the rights of unvaccinated people in Canada in recent months. Last December, a father had his visitation rights with his daughter suspended in the French-speaking province of Quebec after a judge ruled he could not see his daughter due to his vaccination status.
"It would normally have been in the best interests of the child to have contact with his father, but not in his best interest to have contact with him if he is not vaccinated and is opposed to sanitary measures in the current epidemiological context," Superior Court Judge Jean-Sébastien Vaillancourt said in his ruling.
In February Court of Queen’s Bench Judge Nathalie Godbout issued a similar ruling temporarily denying a father custody of his three children because he was also unvaccinated.
