After McCarrick report, pope vows to stop smoking 'uproot evil' of clerical sexual abuse
VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Pope Francis, in his first public comment after the release of an explosive report on the Vatican’s mishandling of the case of ex-U.S. Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, on Wednesday again vowed to put an end to sexual abuse in the Church.

"Yesterday, the report about the painful case of ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick was published. I renew my closeness to the victims of every abuse and the commitment of the Church to uproot this evil," Francis said at his weekly general audience.

He then closed his eyes and prayed silently.

The 450-page report said the late Pope John Paul II promoted McCarrick in 2000 despite rumours of his sexual misconduct, one of a series of failings by popes and officials who let him rise through the ranks regardless of repeated allegations against him.

#1  How about dedicating the Church to ending child trafficing worldwide. Guilt is great since you guys did bad, but that's not enough. Do good.

Also ask your worldwide empire for some real info on how great socialism is working out so you can get your head straight.

13-Years In Prison For Man Who Fatally Punched Elderly Victim Who Asked Him To Quiet Down On Minneapolis Bus
[Breaking911] Leroy Davis-Miles
[NOW they include a photo]
was sentenced to 160 months in prison for the unintentional second-degree murder of a 75-year-old Somali elder, the Hennepin County Attorney's Office announced Friday.

Davis-Miles, 24, of Minneapolis, pleaded guilty to unintentional second-degree murder on Sept. 2. Davis-Miles was originally charged with first-degree assault for punching the victim. The Hennepin County Attorney's Office increased charges to second-degree unintentional murder after victim died from his injuries.

According to the criminal complaint, on Nov. 6, 2019, Davis-Miles and his companions were on the same Metro Transit bus as the victim, when the victim asked the group not to be so loud. The group became hostile towards the victim, threatening to beat him when he got off the bus.

When the victim got off the bus, the group also exited. Shortly after, Davis-Miles walked up to the victim and struck him, the complaint states. The victim then fell backwards and hit his head on the pavement. The victim died in the hospital six days after being assaulted.

Youth arrested for making derogatory remarks on Prophet Muhammad
[Dhaka Tribune] Police have arrested a youth from Kharki village of Mehendiganj upazila, Barisal for allegedly making derogatory remarks about Prophet Muhammad (PTUI!) on social media platform Facebook.

Arrestee Sajal Shil, who was arrested on Tuesday afternoon, had posted derogatory remarks about the prophet through his personal Facebook account on Monday, police sources said.

"Sajal had hurt religious sentiment and fled the spot to avoid the wrath of the locals. However infuriated locals detained his father Shangkar Shill and handed him over to the police on Tuesday," said Abidur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Mehendiganj cop shoppe.

"After the incident, we made several drives and detained Sajal. We released his father instantly," added the OC.

SI Akbar offered captors 20L to let him go
[Dhaka Tribune] Suspended policeman Akbar Hossain Bhuiyan, key accused in Rayhan murder case, offered his captors Tk20 Lakh to let him go.

Md Abdur Rahim, who is a resident of Dona village in Kanaighat upazila of Sylhet, disclosed the information saying: "Akbar begged for his life in exchange for Tk20 lakh. We told him that he is an enemy of the country and he should not be saved."

Saying that justice is much more valuable than money, Rahim said they did not agree to release Akbar to protect their reputation and stay out of danger.

Sylhet Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Fariduddin said Akbar was arrested from the Dona border area of Kanaighat at 9am on Monday under the direct supervision of the district police.

According to SP Fariduudin, some "trusted contacts" in the bordering area had helped them with the arrest.

However,
Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried...
Abdur Rahim said Akbar was first apprehended by one of his nephews in India’s Silchar, just across the border from Sylhet’s Kanaighat Upazila.

Quoting his nephew, Abdur Rahim said his nephew first found Akbar staying in Silchar. He was wearing a bangle around his neck.

"After my nephew informed me over the phone, I asked him to send photos on messenger. After seeing his photo, I recognized him," Rahim said.

"I told my nephew to become friends with Akbar. When I informed the local police, they said bring him if you can," Rahim said.

Later, Akbar was detained on Sunday in the Sonapur Bridge area of Meghalaya. Rahim’s nephew was also with Akbar at the time. Many Khasias detained him overnight and brought him to the border area on Monday morning, according to Rahim.

After informing the police administration, Rahim went to the border area along with some locals including Saleh and Shahabuddin to bring Akbar across the border.

"After crossing the border, I told the OC of Kanaighat and Zakiganj cop shoppe, who was standing near the 1,335 border pillar in white clothes, that this [pointing towards Akbar] is the accused," Rahim said.

U.S. Hits Four More Officials over Hong Kong Freedoms
[AnNahar] The United States has imposed sanctions on four more officials accused of curbing freedoms in Hong Kong, vowing accountability over China's clampdown in the city.

Edwina Lau, head of the National Security Division of the Hong Kong Police Force, was among the officials who will be barred from traveling to the United States and whose US-based assets, if any, will be frozen.

"These actions underscore US resolve to hold accountable key figures that are actively eviscerating the freedoms of the people of Hong Kong and undermining Hong Kong's autonomy," Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a statement Monday.

Top Trump bundler offers $1M reward for evidence of voter fraud
[Washington Examiner] A top Trump 2020 fundraiser has pulled together a reward of $1 million for evidence of voter fraud in the presidential election.

Bill White, an Atlanta-based Trump bundler who has helped raise millions of dollars for the president's reelection, told the Washington Examiner that he and several associates had already raised a $1 million reward for confirmed cases of voter fraud. His group is forming an entity called 'Concerned People for Election Integrity'.

He described a potential scenario where a person caught on video was seen throwing out ballots that were cast for Trump.

"If somebody knows who that guy is, and that person gets turned in and that was a real thing and it's confirmed fraud, we'll give a reward to that person," White said. "Anybody who has evidence of that can contact us.

#2  Meanwhile, the clock is ticking. Every day that goes by makes it more difficult to get honest results in these states.

Remember that Fabius Maximus finally defeated Hannibal not by any direct conflict but rather just by delaying and avoiding him. I see the same strategy at work here.

Israel delivers first MMR radars to US Army for Iron Dome batteries
[Jpost] The first battery was formally delivered on September 30th, second is expected to be delivered soon.

Israel has delivered the first Multi-Mission Radars manufactured by ELTA Systems to the US Army as part of the procurement of two Iron Dome missile-defense batteries.

The MMR was delivered to the US Army by the Israel Missile Defense Organization (IMDO) in the Defense Ministry’s Directorate of Defense R&D (DDR&D).

In August 2019, the US Army purchased two off-the-shelf batteries from Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. They included 12 launchers, two sensors, two battlement management centers and 240 interceptors.

The batteries also contain the MMR radars produced by ELTA, a subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries, and a command and control system developed by mPrest.

The first battery was officially handed to the US Army on September 30. The second battery is expected to be delivered in the near future within the framework of the agreement.

The purchase was made to fill its short-term needs for an Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IPC) until a permanent solution to the problem is put in place to best protect ground maneuvering troops against an increasingly wide range of aerial threats, including short-range projectiles.

"The MMR radar is operational in Israel and other countries," said Yoav Tourgeman, IAI vice president and CEO of ELTA. "We are proud to supply our most advanced systems to our allies, the US Army. The MMR radar addresses a broad range of needs by locating and tracking incoming rockets and artillery shells and by providing a comprehensive aerial situation assessment. The MMR radar will maintain our allies’ military edge. The demand for mobile, combat-proven MMR systems is on the rise."

Using advanced 3D Active Electronically Steered Array (AESA) antenna technology, the radars detect and intercept aerial threats while simultaneously calculating the impact point in real time, therefore giving the choice not to intercept them should they be aimed toward open areas or intercept if headed toward civilian centers.

The fully mobile system carries 10 kg. of explosives and can intercept incoming aerial threats from four to 70 km. away. The radars can be used in multiple simultaneous operations and for rapid maneuvering purposes can be transported on a single vehicle.

The MMR has been widely deployed and operationally integrated by partners around the world, ELTA said in a blurb.

The Iron Dome, which is designed to shoot down short-range rockets, is an integral component of Israel’s multilayered defense array.

The Arrow (Arrow-2 and Arrow-3) system intercepts ballistic missiles outside of the Earth’s atmosphere. The David’s Sling missile-defense system is designed to intercept tactical ballistic missiles and medium- to long-range rockets, as well as cruise missiles fired at ranges between 40 and 300 km.

Orange Man cleans house at the Five Sided Nut
[Politico] The firing of Defense Secretary Mark Esper kicked off a rapid-fire series of high-level departures at the Pentagon on Tuesday, setting off alarms on Capitol Hill that the White House was installing loyalists to carry out President Donald Trump’s wishes during an already tense transition.

In quick succession, top officials overseeing policy, intelligence and the defense secretary’s staff all had resigned by the end of the day Tuesday, replaced by political operatives who are fiercely loyal to Trump and have trafficked in "deep state" conspiracy theories.

Fears continue to swirl over what these newly installed leaders will do as Trump fights the results of last week’s election, and after he has shown he is willing to use troops to solve political problems.
President Lincoln was also "willing to use troops to solve political problems."
Tuesday’s exodus led one top Democrat to accuse the administration of gutting the Pentagon in a way that could be "devastating" for national security.

"It is hard to overstate just how dangerous high-level turnover at the Department of Defense is during a period of presidential transition," said House Armed Services Chair Adam Smith. "If this is the beginning of a trend — the President either firing or forcing out national security professionals in order to replace them with people perceived as more loyal to him — then the next 70 days will be precarious at best and downright dangerous at worst."

First came the resignation of James Anderson, the Pentagon’s acting policy chief, after repeatedly clashing with the White House over the installation of Trump allies in the department. That paved the way for retired Brig. Gen. Anthony Tata to take over policy on a temporary basis.

#2  Yes get rid of them. If they are Deep State Socialist Democrat plants. They pose a threat if Trump wins his Court cases and they refuse his lawful orders.

Besides, wasn't there a list of about 20 or so Elite upper ranks that were Anti-Trump?
Something about not trusting him, because he was rebuilding the US Military but he was ending backdoor pocket $$$$ wars for them?

Any one ran the $$$$ #'s for what departing/retiring Generals and Admirals make being hooked in to the Military Industrial Complex during and after leaving the Military?
