Houston Rapper 'Obe Noir' aka Xavier Roberson Tango Uniform
[People] Obe Noir, a Houston-based rapper known for his activism in the city's Third Ward area, is dead after a shooting on early Monday morning. He was 31.

The fatal incident occurred around 3:40 a.m. near 2900 Fannin Street, according to the Houston Police Department.

Witnesses saw Obe Noir, born Xavier Roberson, running down the street after hearing gunfire in the distance, detectives said in a news release.

A vehicle drove around the block "as if chasing Roberson" before two men got out of the car and shot him, according to police.

The suspects then returned to the vehicle and fled the scene, authorities said. They were last seen turning onto San Jacinto Street.

Roberson was pronounced dead at the scene.

California murder suspect mistakenly released from jail after procedural error
It isn’t hard to choose to be competent, but it is a choice. As is being incompetent. Fred wrote a book about this.
[NYPOST] A murder suspect in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, was mistakenly released from jail Tuesday, prompting cops to shut down a Los Angeles highway during an hours-long manhunt, authorities said.

Steven Manzo, who was charged with murder last March, was erroneously released due to a paperwork error following his arraignment Monday, two law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times.

The 23-year-old was released from county jail at 2:12 p.m. Tuesday — and spotted 30 minutes later near the 101 Freeway by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies, the newspaper reported.

Deputies sought assistance from Los Angeles police to get Manzo back in jug, but he avoided being re-arrested. The search for him ended at about 5 p.m., NBC Los Angeles reported.

Armed Citizen Stops Robbery Suspect at Chick-fil-A in Atlanta
[THEEPOCHTIMES] An armed person stopped an attempted burglary in Atlanta this week, police said.On March 8 around 3:03 p.m., officers responded to a Chik-fil-A on Peachtree Street.

"Upon arrival, officers spoke with witnesses who stated a black male walked inside, produced a firearm and demanded money from several employees. The employees fled and the suspect exited the business a short time later. Several nearby citizens confronted the suspect as he was leaving. One of the citizens was armed and at some point, during the confrontation, the citizen fired several shots. The suspect ran on foot and was apprehended nearby, by the citizens and held until police arrived," the Atlanta Police Department said in a preliminary update sent to The Epoch Times.

"The suspect’s weapon was recovered. No one was struck by the gunfire and charges are pending against the robbery suspect. No charges have been filed against the citizen and the investigation continues," the department added.

The suspect was identified as Willie Gloston IV, 23. The arrest report does not show an address for Gloston.

The suspect was charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He is being held in the Fulton County jail.

Who is Cocaine Bear? Kentucky legend is being made into a movie directed by Elizabeth Banks.
[Kentucky dot com] Lexington’s well-known "cocaine bear," a black bear that died of a drug overdose during the "Bluegrass Conspiracy" era, is about to make it to the big screen.

Elizabeth Banks is set to direct a movie called "Cocaine Bear" for Universal Pictures.

Deadline.com reported Tuesday that the movie is said to be "a character-driven thriller inspired by true events that took place in Kentucky in 1985."

But plot details are pretty thin beyond that.

Though it died in Georgia, the real-life cocaine bear gained notoriety in death and has become a legend of the kind that only Kentucky could produce.

The bear was the victim of a fatal overdose that occurred when it ate a cache of cocaine that Andrew Thornton, a former Lexington narcotics officer turned drug smuggler, threw out over North Georgia.

Thornton was carrying $15 million in cocaine when he died parachuting out of a plane over Knoxville in September 1985. That saga is chronicled in Sally Denton’s 1989 book, "The Bluegrass Conspiracy."

The 175-pound bear’s body was found several months after Thornton’s and preserved with taxidermy. It was passed among various owners until it eventually was acquired by the operators of Lexington-based retailer Kentucky for Kentucky.

A kooky television ad featuring the bear, which has been dubbed Pablo Escobear, made headlines five years ago.

And Escobear is still enjoying fame.

Last month, Kentucky for Kentucky debuted a new mug design featuring the bear’s image. It reads, "Bluegrass Conspiracy’s Cocaine Bear The Ultimate Party Animal."

The "Cocaine Bear" movie, written by Jimmy Warden, will be produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller along with Banks and Max Handelman’s Brownstone Productions, Deadline reported.

Banks, Lord and Miller teamed up previously on "The Lego Movie" series. Banks most recently directed the 2019 "Charlie’s Angels" film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, filming for "Cocaine Bear" could begin this summer.

Long-Lost Friends Have 'Miracle' Reunion 82 Years After Being Separated by the Holocaust

The two girls met when they were 6, and participated in many activities together. They went to the same school and synagogue, had ballet lessons together, and became fast friends.

As the climate changed, though, and their hometown became more and more hostile, the girls’ families knew they needed to move. So on one spring day in 1939, the girls said their final farewell.

"We did not want to separate," Wahrenberg told The Washington Post. "We loved each other very much.

Meghan Markle lodged formal complaint after Piers Morgan accused her of lying
[PAGESIX] Meghan Markle formally complained to UK broadcaster ITV after Piers Morgan lashed out at her and accused her of lying about her mental health on "Good Morning Britannia," according to a report.

The UK’s Office of Communications had received over 41,000 complaints about Morgan’s behavior by late Tuesday, according to the Guardian — prompting the regulator to launch a probe into whether Morgan’s remarks violated the broadcasting code on harm and offense.

A formal complaint was also lodged on behalf of the Duchess of Sussex with ITV, the British network that airs the morning talk show, the outlet said.

Markle reportedly insisted that she was not upset by Morgan’s attacks — but wanted to file the complaint out of concern for how his comments could affect viewers dealing with their own mental health struggles, an insider told the UK Press Association, according to the Daily Mail.
PJ Media adds:
British commentator Piers Morgan is out at Good Morning Britain after co-hosting the ITV show for six years. ITV did not explain what prompted Morgan’s decision to step down, but he faced a great deal of outrage for questioning the veracity of Meghan Markle’s claims that the royal family harbored racism and that she had suicidal thoughts during her time at Buckingham Palace.

#3  Black Privilege includes making white people accept that lies don’t matter if its an expression of what Black People think about anything they dont like. The new explanation is that they are “relating their own experience “. In the face of this, failure to just shut up and pretend it is fact is viewed as proof of racism. And racism is the new heresy that brings the inquisition of 21st century life.

Afghanistan
Kidnapped for Ransom, Kabul Man Shares Ordeal
[ToloNews] Mohammad Mooen, a local businessman, was kidnapped for ransom from Kabul’s PD15 43 days ago and was heavily tortured by his kidnappers during this period.

He said that all efforts by the security agencies to rescue him proved useless.

Mooen’s son said that he borrowed $60,000 from his relatives to save the life of his father.

Mooen said that the kidnappers were wearing military uniforms.

"The vehicle of a poor man or a businessman is checked several times, but the car of a kidnapper is not checked, why?" asked Mohammad Moeen, who still suffers from the pains of torture.

Moeen assumes he was kept in areas near the Kabul airport because he heard the sounds of airplanes in the cell.

"During these 43 days ... the government failed to detect my place," said Mohammad Moeen.

Moeen was released three days ago.

After his release he went to the Ministry of Interior, but the kidnappers later in a message warned him against going to the ministry again.

"When I returned from the Ministry of Interior, they (Ministry of Interior) somehow put pressure on my brother to not chase the case; this means that the security organs are linked with kidnappers," said Bashir Malikzada, Moeen’s brother.

"When we reached to an agreement, (kidnappers) asked me to put a white hat on my head and asked me to take a bicycle and come to Charahi Asbha square," said Abdul Matin Nizambek, son of Mohammad Moeen.

"That night when he came home with his hands were still bound, I was disappointed and thought that now I can't get an education," said Naeem, the younger son of Mohammad Moeen.

Meanwhile,
...back at the abandoned silver mine, a triangular dorsal fin appeared in the water. Then another...
officials of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment said that this year they have registered 100 kidnapping cases of businessmen. Of that figure, ten businessmen were killed by kidnappers.

"400 businessmen have fled to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
," said Khan Jan Alokozay, the deputy head of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment.

The Office of the First Vice President--which is responsible for security in Kabul--and the Ministry of Interior have not commented so far.

Armenia Govt Says Top General Dismissed, Army Issues Defiant Statement
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Armenia’s government said the dismissal of a top army general at the center of a political crisis went into effect on Wednesday, almost two weeks after Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan fired him and accused the military of a coup attempt.

The army had demanded Pashinyan quit on Feb. 25, prompting Pashinyan to sack the chief of the army’s general staff. But that move needed the approval of the president, which he declined to give.

The standoff is a major challenge for Pashinyan, who was swept to power by protests in 2018 but has been under fire over his handling of last year’s conflict between ethnic Armenians and Azerbaijan over the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

Pashinyan’s government said in a statement on Wednesday that the general’s dismissal was now legally effective because the president had not signed the decree within the time allotted or gone to court under specific articles of the law.

"Head of the General Staff Onik Gasparyan ... is legally dismissed from his post from March 10," the statement said.

In a statement in response, Gasparyan denounced his dismissal as unconstitutional and said that Armenia’s political crisis could only be ended by Pashinyan’s resignation and snap parliamentary elections, the Interfax news agency reported.

"I will continue to serve the motherland and the Armenian people in a different capacity," he said, without elaborating.

Another statement attributed to the leadership of the armed forces said it agreed with Gasparyan’s statement and his overall assessment of the situation, News.am and Russian media outlets reported.

"There is one solution to the current situation, it is in the message (from Gasparyan)," the statement was quoted as saying.

Pashinyan later proposed Artak Davtyan, the former chief of general staff, to replace Gasparyan, the TASS news agency reported.

Pashinyan has faced calls to resign since last November when he agreed to a Russian-brokered ceasefire that halted six weeks of fighting between ethnic Armenian and Azeri forces over the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

The deal secured significant territorial gains for Azerbaijan in and around Nagorno-Karabakh. The enclave is internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan but is populated and until recently was fully controlled by ethnic Armenians.

Pashinyan, who has rejected calls to resign, said he had been compelled to agree to the peace deal to prevent greater human and territorial losses.

#4  When I was a web master I used to see this kind of thing all the time in my logs. I found that there are web sites where you can plug in an IP address and find information about it. According to DBIP IP geolocation API
and database web site
: 221.8.65.18 or 18.65.8.221.adsl-pool.jlccptt.net.cn is an IPv4 address owned by CNC Group CHINA169 Jilin Province Network and located in Haidian (Haidian Qu), China.

I developed a PERL script that would place such IP addresses into an IPTABLES database so they would be denied any further access to my server. The script had a little database of its own that included the kind of queries that would come from places like China. Whenever there was a "404 Not Found" error the script would be triggered and search for a match between the 404 query and the database. When a match was found, the offending IP address would be automatically added to the IPTABLES database. Eventually I found that I could enter a range of IP addresses into IPTABLES and block entire nations from access to my server. If I could do that, the government could certainly erect a fire wall that would block all internet traffic from countries like China. The fact that our government allows this criminal activity to continue is a dereliction of duty to say the least. Of course, well all know why they don't.

Abu Uluque:
Is your script PD or shareware?

Posted by: NN2N1 || 03/11/2021 13:31 Comments || Top||

#6  I never saved a copy of the script for myself. I left it on the server when I retired. It wasn't terribly difficult to do though. I kind of did it in my spare time at work. If you know PERL and you're familiar with Apache web server software running on LINUX it should be easy to duplicate. The apache config file allows you to designate a cgi-bin executable to handle 404 errors. In my script, I would check the 404 query by looping through an array of character stings like "php". I didn't have php on my server because I knew it was notorious for vulnerabilities so if somebody was looking for php on my server I figured they were prodding for vulnerabilities they could exploit to hack my server. There were all kinds of strings like that and when I found them I put the IP addresses into IPTABLES so they would be automatically and immediately denied any further access to the server. They didn't even get the 404 error message. It was fairly effective. It sure cleaned up my log files. I only got one or two complaints from people who were legitimate being denied access and that was because their Microsoft Internet Explorer browser was looking for FrontPage. I figured they deserved it just for using such a crippled browser.

Gab Hacked Again – Group Apparently Linked to Angry Trans Activist and DDoSecrets
[GatewayPundit] Gab was hacked last week by a group of far-left activists led by trans activist Emma Best. The group DDoSecrets claimed that the hack attack was to help journalists — which makes no sense.

The hacker group, DDoSecrets, added that they are making "70GB of passwords, private posts, and more available to researchers, journalists, and social scientists."

DDoSecrets cofounder Emma Best, a trans far-left activist who previously leaked WikiLeaks group chats in defense of Crooked Hillary Clinton
...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away. Politix is not one of her talents, but it's something she keeps trying to do...
, told leftist rag Wired that the data "contains pretty much everything on Gab, including user data and private posts, everything someone needs to run a nearly complete analysis on Gab users and content."

Though Best is an anti-WikiLeaks nut job, the website for their hacked material is a complete ripoff of Julian Assange
... Australian journalist who founded WikiLeaks in 2006. WikiLeaks made the Big Time in 2010 when it published a series of leaks provided by then Bradley, since Chelsea Manning. After the 2010 leaks, the United States government launched a criminal investigation into WikiLeaks and asked allied nations for assistance. U.S. officials are seeking to prosecute Assange under the Espionage Act, blaming him for directingpublication of a huge trove of secret documents that disclosed the names of people who provided confidential information to American and coalition forces in Iraq and Afghanistan....
’s creation. The unoriginal criminals even called it "GabLeaks."

Gab founder Andrew Torba did not hold back in a post about the hackers, charging that they were attacked by "mentally ill tranny demon hackers."

On Monday afternoon Gab was hacked again.

The hacker appears to be linked to the Emma Best. The message uploaded on Gab reads,

"The website has been fully compromised last week. 35M public posts and 3M private posts. 50K emails and 7K passwords. 831 verification documents (that I did not send to DDoSecrets or anyone else).

Gab officials have not responded to this latest attack.

US Navy deterioration continues: Bedbugs on Submarine for months
[NavyTimes] The crew of the fast-attack submarine Connecticut has been subjected to a bed bug infestation in their racks, and sailors assigned to the sub allege that the boat's command has been slow to fix the problem.

The infestation issue began while the sub was taking part in ICEX 2020 in the Arctic Ocean in March 2020 and continued during a deployment last year, according to a Connecticut petty officer who asked to remain anonymous for fear of retribution.

"We've had bed bugs for a year now," the petty officer said. "Sailors complained about getting bitten in the racks."
Meanwhile, the top Navy brass are more concerned with indoctrinating the officers and chiefs with Marxist Critical Race Theory and swearing an oath "As a key member of Task Force One Navy I will invest the time, attention and empathy required to analyze and evaluate Navy-wide issues related to racism, sexism, ableism and other structural and interpersonal biases." per the new Woke Navy Policy than they are with actual well-being of sailors, and non-SJW things like being combat effective.

#5  Why aren’t all the mattresses and pillows encased in bedbug-proof covers? All bedding washed daily in hot water and sealed in plastic until the bed is made up for sleep? All clothing ditto. If three shifts are sleeping in the same bed, then the bedding should be changed and washed between shifts until the problem is fixed. Diatomaceous earth puffed into all the cracks and crannies and drawers and shelves in the sleeping quarters— bedbugs don’t remain far from where people sleep, so that’s where the effort should be concentrated. Dealing with vermin is a Navy tradition several thousand years old — shouldn't some chief petty officer have just handled this?

Netanyahu to host Hungarian, Czech counterparts to discuss COVID cooperation
More breaking ranks with the EU.
[IsraelTimes] Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will host his Hungarian and Czech counterparts Viktor Orbán and Andrej Babiš in Israel to discuss policies for combating the pandemic, Rooters reports.

"The main topic of the meeting will be the effort to curb the pandemic," Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s press chief says in a statement.

Last week Israel, Austria and Denmark said they would set up a joint research and development fund with Israel after their premiers visited the Jewish state to view the success of the country’s vaccine drive and how it is reopening the economy.

Both Hungary and the Czech Republic have been hit hard in recent weeks by the pandemic.

Musk explains SN10 explosion
[Gizmodo] The third high-altitude test of a SpaceX Starship prototype ended with a successful landing on March 3 — and then, moments later, ended for a second time with an explosion.

Although the SN10, as the prototype was known, joined its two most recent predecessors in the fiery great beyond, it was still celebrated as a success for becoming the first of Elon Musk’s Mars-bound Starship prototypes to stick the landing. On Tuesday, Musk took to Twitter to elaborate on why the SN10 came in a little too hot, and clarified that a series of fixes was already in the works for the next prototype in the series, the SN11.

"SN10 engine was low on thrust due (probably) to partial helium ingestion from fuel header tank," Musk tweeted. "Impact of 10m/s crushed legs & part of skirt."

In subsequent tweets, Musk confirmed that the helium ingestion was likely the result of a pressurization system that had been added to the CH4 header tank to correct an error that had occurred previously with the SN8.

"If autogenous pressurization had been used, CH4 bubbles would most likely have reverted to liquid," Musk wrote. "Helium in header was used to prevent ullage collapse from slosh, which happened in prior flight. My fault for approving. Sounded good at the time."

Cambodia reports first COVID-19 death, 1 year into pandemic
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (AP) — Cambodia on Thursday confirmed its first death from COVID-19 since the pandemic began more than a year ago as it battles a new local outbreak that has infected hundreds of people.

The 50-year-old man was confirmed infected last month while working as a driver for a Chinese company in coastal Sihanoukville and died at the Khmer-Soviet friendship hospital Thursday morning, the Health Ministry said in a statement.

Cambodia has confirmed only 1,163 cases of infection with the coronavirus since the pandemic began, but it is battling a new local outbreak that has infected several hundred people.

According to the Health Ministry, the new outbreak was traced to a foreign resident who broke quarantine in a hotel and went to a nightclub in early February. That caused a slew of infections and led the government on Feb. 20 to announce a two-week closure of all public schools, cinemas, bars and entertainment areas in Phnom Penh.

The government has since extended the closures for more two weeks for schools, gyms, concert halls, museums and other entertainment venues in Phnom Penh, nearby Kandal province and the coastal province of Sihanoukville.

DoD considers no cost 'johnson' removal surgery for service members
[Newmax] The Department of Defense has confirmed in recent memos that sex reassignment surgery could be provided free of cost as part of the military’s medical benefits package following President Joe Biden’s Jan. 25 executive order.

"America is stronger, at home and around the world, when it is inclusive. The military is no exception," the White House said in a press release announcing the order.

"This means no one will be separated or discharged, or denied reenlistment, solely on the basis of gender identity," the release continued. "Prospective recruits may serve in their self-identified gender when they have met the appropriate standards for accession into the military services."

"This revised policy will also ensure all medically necessary transitionrelated care authorized by law is available to all Service members," wrote Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin in a memo obtained by the Washington Examiner.

Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough said the military would "perform an assessment of the necessary steps to eliminate the exclusion of 'gender alteration' (gender affirmation surgery) in the medical benefits package."

He wrote last month, in a memo ordering a review of the department’s policies and practices, that "Every person at VA, whether a customer or member of VA’s workforce, should be treated with respect and dignity. Our success as a team — our ability to deliver world-class care for our veterans — depends on our respect for our fellow VA employees and the veterans we serve and is critical to everything we do."
