Pressley Stutts never got past the steps of the Capitol. He did, however, witness men dressed in all black who broke out windows at the Capitol building while Trump supporters warned they were members of the violent far left domestic terror group, Antifa. Pressley explained that he heard women shouting, "Antifa! Antifa!" as the men dressed in black bashed out the windows of the Capitol.
His time on the steps of the Capitol building was short-lived, but the targeting of Mr. Pressley for daring to stand on the steps of the Capitol building on January 6th may follow this innocent man for the rest of his life.

The Royals in Britain serves no real purpose anymore. Harry married into a different environment that has been very good financially. It is the Queen who refuses to see him per the article not the other way around. And I do believe his wife told the truth about the Royals attitude.

I hate to break the news to them; but the Ivy League is also looking for "diversity"--which meant sharply reducing the number of admits from the snooty prep schools--as long ago as 1966 (when Yale admitted me from a Catholic high school in California as part of the then diversification effort.)

Sooner or later, the aspirational and status-obsessed parents will realize the ivy+ and top liberal arts colleges are just an elite circle jerk that has nothing to do with education.
They're now basically finishing schools that teach a set of manners and turns of phrase that send signals of belonging to a particular social circle. That circle now defines itself as much by Woke bullshit as by any measure of real achievement or mastery of anything.

Not so. Harvard-Westlake School in Beverly Hills sends a very large % of its kids to UChicago and U. Michigan as well as Northwestern. The common trait here is leftist politics: even Chicago has become Woke in the last 5 years.
The top public schools in California are full of Asians, mainly Chinese, who tend toward the subjects that still favor merit, rigor and no-BS: engineering and math. Those schools and their Asian students prefer the top flagship public universities that are known for STEM-- not just UCLA-UCB-UCSD-UCI but also STEM powerhouses like U. Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Carnegie Mellon.

I think we're plainly at war with them already. 70,000 dead annually from fentanyl, constant theft of technology, a wide spread and aggressive infiltration into media and higher education kind of sounds a little mean.
Their last time out of the gate with Vietnam didn't go so well, mainly exposing serious deficiencies and a very stubborn and hidebound approach that didn't prevail. Combine that with the logistics of it all and the smart move would be to build an internal military presence. That takes a hunk of pressure off their unemployment and single male pressure while simultaneously providing a magician's distraction so they can pursue war by other means.

As Biden slowly stepped out of his vehicle, a nosy reporter rudely attempted to ask him intrusive questions about things that were none of her business.
"Nooooooooooo!" said agent James Carter as the CBS reporter raised her hand to ask a completely inappropriate question-- possibly about the Middle East, or executive orders. Carter ran up to the president, arms outstretched, and dove through the air to shield the president from the incoming query.
"It's like everything went into slow motion," said Agent Carter. "My training kicked in and I leapt into action. I'm just happy I was able to make a difference."
Carter took the entire force of the blow from the incoming question before collapsing to the ground.
"Hey-- lookie there, they fly now!" said President Biden. "Hey there young man, would you mind not flying in front of me while I exit my vehicle? I have to get to the Oval Office in time for Matlock."
The Secret Service agent sustained minor injuries but is grateful to have saved the president from a reporter's unwelcome question.
"Just doing my job," he said.
