I really hate that I dont trust our government on issues like this. The releases for the last few days were denial that we had labs over there. Then it was we were there to help them remove the lab material. Then our government said to expect a false flag operation from Russia. Now here we are. With the Wuhan lies and how all that went down, with knowing the Obama admin outlawed this then moved it all outside the US, I dont know what to believe.

*Shrug* I read some books by Col. TrevorN. Dupuy and in one book he noted that: "In WW2 about 1 in 6 of the starting generals were relieved in the first six months because they just didn't have what it takes to be a Combat General."

From my understanding, Putin's actual goal is the dissolution of NATO. After he finishes with Ukraine and Moldova (both on the menu right currently), he will probably invade the Baltics and ask: "Do you really want to go war over these little republics?"
Then he will go after the smaller NATO countries until everyone's absorbed or the Europeans figure out NATO is not worth the paper it's written on.

a lot of housing inflation hasn't yet been recorded by the BLS because of the methodology but unless oil hits $150/bar the annual increases will probably be below 10% through the summer.
Of course 10% is horrible. A lot of business will be disrupted, people will lose opportunity to buy houses, people will lose jobs.

as to who benefits, if you have a $1M mortgage with a 3% rate, count yourself as lucky
as to why we are doing this to ourselves, I'm pretty sure the Biden Admin basically believed (to some extent still believes) in its own theory of economics where wages rise but business costs don't, where windmills fuel cars, where budget deficits don't matter, etc.
Granted that this sounds insane but having met members of the USA ruling class, this type of insanity is pretty common.

Anyone going around saying get an EV if gas is too expensive, hasn't been paying attention is simply isn't affected by the price of electricity.
I didn't think to highlight that but from Dec 20 to Dec 21, electric rates for residential are up about 8.5% on a national basis. Some States really feeling the pain, e.g., Hawaii where the increase was about 20% and rates are almost three times the national average.

[MAIL] Billions of genetically engineered male mosquitos will be released in California and Florida over the next two years, as part of a mission to kill off biting females.
Oxitec, based in Oxford UK, is a biological pest control development firm, that has produced the edited version of the flying insects to combat mosquito-borne diseases like Dengue, yellow fever and Zika.
Male Aedes aegypti mosquitos don't bite humans, but females do, and so the genetic modification causes females to die off soon after being born.
The project has been cleared by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the first wave is due to be released this year, although it isn't clear exactly when this will happen, as it requires state regulatory approval in Florida and California.
It isn't likely to be a problem in Florida, as the state played host to a trial last year that saw millions of the same type of Oxitec mosquitos released in the Florida Keys.

You never really hear about the Zika or West Nile virus anymore. Same thing going to happen to COVID. It will still be out there, it will only be an issue for the people who contract it or make money off it. The media has "don't say gay" and "Russia, Russia, Russia" on it's plate instead.

I dont think it is a coincidence that both of the cheap "alternative" covid therapeutics were anti-parasitics. I did a lot of research when the Zika outbreak occurred and we had the Olympics anyway in the heart of the hotzone. Recent data in 2019 noted that GM Mosquitos left behind genetic material. So genetic exchanges occur. My pet CT is that the covid outbreak occurred when GM mosquitos somehow contracted or were given covid tainted blood and they are the vector. No public data to support this other than GM mosquito experiments in China, but not Wuhan, publicly documented. Why GM Mosquitos? They are the perfect innoculator, weather you like it or not they will bite you and you will contract what they can give you, be it vaccine or virus, or a Mrna "code upgrade".

SUWAYDA, Syria (North Press) – Farzat al-Qatami, head of the fuel department in Syria’s southern city of Suwaydawas kidnapped by anonymous people yesterday.
Local sources told North Press that gunmen kidnapped al-Qatami from the front door of his house located in the city center. His fate is still unknown.
