Known wolf, 35, charged with attempted murder after 'pretending to be a patient then stabbing two nurses and a doctor at Encino Medical Center': Hero dental hygienist who helped save victims describes 'bloodbath'
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] This is what happens when yet another Soros attorney general refuses to jail criminals.
  • Ashkan Amirsoleymani, 35, has been booked on three counts of attempted murder related to Friday's attack, the LAPD said Saturday

  • Amirsoleymani is being held on $3million bail

  • Police have not yet disclosed Amirsoleymani's motive and Los Angeles Police Officer Rosario Cervantes said no other information was available Saturday

  • Amirsoleymani walked into Encino Hospital Medical Center in the San Fernando Valley shortly before 4 p.m. Friday, police said

  • He had parked his car in the middle of a street and went to the emergency room, where he asked for treatment for anxiety before stabbing his victims

  • The assailant was taken into custody at 5pm PST, according a representative for the hospital

  • Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center said two of the victims have been treated and released

  • The third victim remains hospitalized in fair but stable condition, the TV station reported
LAPD said that the suspect had a lengthy record, including two arrests last year for resisting arrest, and for battery of a police officer.

Benjamin Roman, an ultrasound technician, told NBC4 that before the stabbing, he saw the suspect, who had a dog with him and who might have been high on drugs because he looked anxious and was drenched in sweat.

Philadelphia mass shooting on South Street leaves 3 dead, about a dozen injured
[FoxNews] At least three people are dead in Philadelphia and nearly a dozen other victims have been injured during a shooting incident Saturday evening, according to multiple reports.

Authorities responded to the scene in the South Street neighborhood just before midnight, where they found multiple shooters, with one firing into a crowd of people, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Philadelphia Police Department Inspector D.F. Pace said 14 people had been shot, including three who died, per the outlet.

"You can imagine there were hundreds of individuals enjoying South Street, as they do every single weekend, when this shooting broke out," Pace said, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

According to the report, a Philadelphia police officer fired their own weapon at least once toward the suspect before the individual fled.

The suspect was reportedly struck in the arm, but it is not immediately clear if the suspect was hit by the officers' gunfire amid the chaotic situation.

Eric Walsh, an employee of the nearby O'Neals Pub, said he heard gunshots around 11:30 p.m. and acted swiftly to usher those in and around the bar to seek shelter, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

"People were coming off the street with blood splatters on white sneakers and skinned knees and skinned elbows," Walsh said per the report. "We literally just were balling up napkins and wetting them and handing them to people... it was chaos."

One shooter reportedly dropped a handgun with an extended magazine, which was recovered by police, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Officers recovered a second firearm early Sunday.

No arrests were made at the scene though police said the first suspect is a woman, Fox 29 reported. She was last seen in a 2018 Volkswagen Atlas with the NJ license plate K88-EUL, according to the report.

Uvalde mom handcuffed by 'coward' cops for trying to rush inside school and save her kids claims police threatened her with a probation violation for obstruction of justice if she spoke to media
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Angeli Rose Gomez, who was handcuffed trying to rescue her kids at the Uvalde school shooting, said police are threatening her to keep her quiet

  • Gomez has been critical of the local police's late response in getting into the Robb Elementary school to stop the rampage that left 21 dead

  • She said she got a call from law enforcement saying she could face a probation violation for obstruction of justice if she keeps talking with the media

  • The heroic mom said the judge overseeing her probation told her she would be save and encouraged her to share her story

  • It comes as Uvalde chief Pete Arredondo faces criticism for instructing police to stand back when he incorrectly believed the shooter was barricaded alone

Biden spotted at Delaware beach after security scare
Taken to a fire station secure location?
Was he rendered aid?

[FoxNews] President Biden was spotted on a beach in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware on Saturday afternoon.

Fox News obtained a picture of Biden walking down the beach on Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m.,which was after a private aircraft entered restricted airspace near the president's beach house.

Biden was taken to a nearby fire station after the airplane was detected.

"Shortly before 1 p.m. today a privately owned aircraft entered the restricted airspace over Rehoboth Delaware after mistakenly entering a secured area," the U.S. Secret Service said in a statement. "The aircraft was immediately escorted out of the restricted airspace."

"Preliminary investigation reveals the pilot was not on the proper radio channel, was not following the NOTAMS (Notice to Airmen) that had been filed and was not following published flight guidance," the statement reads. "The United States Secret Service will be interviewing the pilot."

Unexpectedly! Monkeypox Community Transmission!
[ET] The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that it will be initiating an emergency response to monitor and investigate monkeypox after recent cases suggest that the disease may be spreading through person-to-person community transmission.
Are you sure it's not just a small "community"?
"Identification of monkeypox clusters in several countries that do not have endemic disease and involving patients with no direct travel history to an area with endemic monkeypox suggests person-to-person community spread," wrote the authors of the CDC report.
I didn't see anything about people violating social distancing regulations; might that be a factor?
While a high proportion of individuals currently diagnosed with the disease are men who identify as gay, bisexual, or men who have sex with men (MSM), CDC cautions that the early cases may simply reflect an "early introduction into interconnected social networks" suggesting that the currently observed trends may be biased.

The health agency speculated that current observations of the disease mostly affecting MSM individuals may be due to selection bias by clinicians due to previous established medical relationships between MSM and some clinical STIs and infectious diseases.

Close contact with infected persons or objects likely to carry infection such as linen still remains the most significant risk factor for monkeypox virus infection in humans.

Bees are fish, US court declares (yes, only in California)
In which California judicial contortions astound even Russia Today. More on this story from a few days ago.
[RT] Insects don’t qualify for California Endangered Species Act protection, so bumblebees are being reclassed.

Four species of bumblebees have been reclassified as ‘fish’ in the state of California so that they can be protected under its Endangered Species Act, a court ruled on Tuesday, reversing a 2020 ruling and affirming that the term ‘fish’ shouldn’t be confined to merely ‘aquatic’ invertebrates under the law.

“We acknowledge the scope of the definition is ambiguous but also recognize we are not interpreting the definition on a blank slate,” the California Court of Appeal for the Third District declared in its ruling.

The four species of bumblebees are now protected by the California Fish and Game Commission as at-risk plants and animals, sheltering the insects from import, export, possession, purchase, or sale. The move is a blow to agricultural groups, in particular the Almond Alliance of California, which has lashed out against the ruling, arguing it would further financially burden growers of the crop who use pesticides known to harm bees.

Because insects are not a protected category under the California Endangered Species Act (CESA), the agency had to get creative. Candidates for CESA protection are limited to “a native species or subspecies of a bird, mammal, fish, amphibian, reptile, or plant” under California’s fish and game laws. While some species of insect are protected in the state, they fall under the federal Endangered Species Act.

The agency opted to split biological hairs in order to save the bees, noting the legal definition of fish – “a wild fish, mollusk, crustacean, invertebrate, amphibian, or part, spawn, or ovum of any of those animals” – includes invertebrates, which includes bumblebees.

While the trial court dismissed their claim, the appellate court countered that bees could in fact qualify as fish, because “although the term fish is colloquially and commonly understood to refer to aquatic species, the term of art employed by the Legislature in the definition of fish… is not so limited.”

The decision pointed out that a snail had previously been listed under CESA, noting that because such a terrestrial invertebrate “could have qualified as such only within the definition of fish,” the Commission’s authority was not limited to listing only aquatic invertebrates.

“Accordingly, a terrestrial invertebrate, like each of the four bumble bee species, may be listed as an endangered or threatened species under the Act,” the ruling stated. “The legislative history supports the liberal interpretation of the Act (the lens through which we are required to construe the Act) that the Commission may list any invertebrate as an endangered or threatened species.”

The newly-protected species include Crotch, Franklin, Suckley, and Western bumble bees.
Note that these are native bee species, not the imported European honeybee, so they nest in the ground and provide neither honey nor wax.
They are “highly endangered,” according to the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, whose spokeswoman, Sarina Jepsen, argued that classifying the critical pollinators as endangered is essential to their survival.

The California Endangered Species Act protects about 250 species of plant and animal. However, it doesn’t cover insects, theoretically leaving bumblebees in a legal no man’s land. Over the years, the definition of fish has slowly been expanded to include amphibians and later invertebrates in general, opening the door to the inclusion of bees.

Chicago man charged with shooting US marshal, police dog
[FoxNews] A Chicago man was arrested Thursday after he shot and wounded a U.S. Marshal and his police dog who were serving an arrest warrant on the city’s Northwest Side, authorities said.

Tarrion Johnson, 19, was taken into custody shortly after he opened fire on an officer with the U.S. Marshals Service’s fugitive apprehension team and his federal police dog in the 5200 block of West Belmont around 1:20 p.m., Chicago police said.

The unit was serving Tarrion with an arrest warrant for a previous attempted murder charge, the Chicago Sun-Times reported prosecutors as saying during the suspect’s appearance in bond court Saturday.

The marshal rushed the wounded K-9 to a veterinary clinic immediately after the shooting, Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford told the paper. The officer then realized he was shot in the hand but declined to be taken to a hospital.

The U.S. Marshals Service said the police dog was in the intensive care unit of an emergency veterinary hospital on Friday, WLS-TV reported. No update on the K-9’s condition was immediately available.

During Saturday's hearing, the paper reported that a Cook County judge declared Tarrion a threat to the public and denied him bail.

Chicago suburb police officer shoots, kills hatchet wielding man who pulled up during traffic stop
[FoxNews] A suburban Chicago-area police officer shot and killed a hatchet-wielding man seen on shocking body camera footage pulling up during a traffic stop in the city of Naperville, Illinois, police said.

The Naperville Police Department, in releasing a still from the bodycam footage, said an officer was conducting a traffic stop around 11 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Bond Street and McDowell Road when an unrelated vehicle pulled up next to the vehicle the officer had pulled over.

A man, described as a White male in his 20s, exited the vehicle and charged at the officer with a hatchet in his hand, police said. A still image taken from the officer’s bodycam shows the man dressed in all black clothing brandishing the weapon in his right hand as he appears to barrel toward the officer.
White male, 20s, all in black...could he be Antifa?
The officer, a 22-year-veteran of the Naperville Police Department, which serves the city of about 145,000 people approximately 28 miles west of Chicago, discharged a firearm, striking the suspect.

The man was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The officer was not injured in the incident, the department said.

Britain
Resigned / fired royals met with jeers
[NY Post] It’s not just the royal family giving them a frosty reception.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were loudly booed Friday while returning together to royal events in the UK for the first time in two years.

A small cheer initially greeted the exiled royal couple’s exit from St Paul’s Cathedral — just to be quickly drowned out by a chorus of shouted boos, video shows.

Similar booing broke out when the couple arrived for the National Service of Thanksgiving, their first public royal event together since officially quitting royal life two years ago.

Just like then, they appeared to get a frosty reception from other royals, too — with Harry’s brother, Prince William, and wife Kate sitting far away from them inside the cathedral.
Harry thought he was marrying up...

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Russia Threatens To 'Strike The West' If US-Supplied Rockets Hit Its Territory
[ZERO] Following on the heels of the Biden administration announcing it would send longer range rocket systems to Ukraine, the Kremlin has issued a veiled threat that if it's territory is hit it could strike back directly at the West.

"One of President Putin’s closest allies has warned that Moscow could target western cities if Ukraine uses rocket systems supplied by the United States to carry out strikes on Russian territory," the UK Times is reporting. The dire warning was given by close top Putin ally and former president Dmitry Medvedev, who currently serves as the Russian security council deputy chairman.

"If, God forbid, these weapons are used against Russian territory then our armed forces will have no other choice but to strike decision-making centers," Medvedev warned in the new statements.

That's when he suggested the following for the first time, marking a severe escalation of rhetoric:

"Of course, it needs to be understood that the final decision-making centers in this case, unfortunately, are not located on the territory of Kyiv" - with the suggesting being that those Western capitals supplying the advanced arms could come under attack in response.

Previously Russia has threatened to hit "decision-making centers" within Ukraine, such as Kiev and Lviv. These cities have been targeted on occasion, but rarely, throughout the war now in its fourth month.

The US confirmed this past week that Ukraine would receive M142 high-mobility artillery rocket systems, which are medium-ranged, capable of striking targets some 50 miles away.

President Biden on Tuesday stressed that "we're not going to send to Ukraine rocket systems that strike into Russia" - which the Kremlin acknowledged as a "rational" decision, while stilling condemning the transfer of the systems.

Ukraine's government, meanwhile, has reportedly given Washington "assurances" that it will not uses US-supplied weaponry to target Russian territory, which Moscow has long made clear would mark severe violation of its 'red lines'.

#1  Here is what the Russian SOB is talking about. I'd be keeping an eye on air bases and data centers in Estonia and Poland.

NATO’s military presence in the east of the Alliance

An important component of NATO’s deterrence and defence posture is military presence in the eastern part of Alliance territory. In recent years, Allies have enhanced NATO’s forward presence by establishing multinational battlegroups in Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. They have also sent more ships, planes and troops to NATO’s eastern flank, from the Baltic Sea in the north to the Black Sea in the south. These actions demonstrate Allies’ solidarity, determination and ability to defend Alliance territory and populations.

#2  Medvedev the western-oriented Russian liberal may or may not be an "SOB," but it's striking that even the pro-western Russian elite, such as Medvedev, are so willing to thumb their nose at Biden and fling his poo right back at him.

Have Biden's puppet masters bothered to consider that maybe their wished-for alternatives to Putin are even more militant?

Do they even know that their liberal wet dream, Navalny, is a strident Russian nationalist who supported Russia's Crimean annexation (as do 90% of the Russian public including the residents of Crimea)?

Does Biden or his puppet master have even the faintest idea about the consequences of what they are doing?
Posted by: Oye Como Va || 06/05/2022 8:53 Comments || Top||

#3  Actually, maybe the Deep Staters do understand the consequences. The sanctions are actually funding Russia's war machine. Russia has more than tripled its current account surplus and has also taken three times as much territory as they held on Feb. 24 -- they're already up to 20% according to the little man in Kyiv. If this goes on much longer they'll have close to 1/3 of Ukraine. Poland will take another chunk around Lwow/Lviv.

So now the Deep Staters are shifting the Narrative again: all the talk is about the urgent need for "NEGOTIATIONS"
Posted by: Oye Como Va || 06/05/2022 8:59 Comments || Top||

#4  Red flag from Russia is a true Red flag. Should Russia be hit I see a greater probability of Poland being hit first since they have been so helpful supping needs to Ukraine. Certainly Belarus is having serious thoughts concerning Poland. China could, any day move on Taiwan. This would divert attention from Russia. So if hostilities escalate who else might want to move on another. They talked of Domino effect in the Arab world. Perhaps this is the plan towards NATO or USA. Biden has certainly weakened America, money, military equipment of all types and very low morale in our military. Spend, spend and spend.

#5  ^ The Russians are hitting the tunnel and the roads on the border with Poland through which much of the NATO materiel gets transported. In the East, most of the ammo for the weapons sent to the Ukrainians is used up in a day or two, and then many of those weapons are captured by the Russians.

It's a complete clownshow, just theater now. Especially because they're actually preparing the western public and their little Kyiv puppet for negotiations.

Even CNN's faithful administration lackey Natasha Bertrand is reporting that negotiations are being prepared now.

#8  Official Washington is turning decisively away from the war... now that Raytheon and Lockheed and the rest of the Seamp's Ukraine grifters have their loot, they're trying to wind down this shitshow as fast as they possibly can. The phrase on everyone's lips now is NEGOTIATED SETTLEMENT.

CNN's big story is about frantic maneuvering for a "negotiated settlement." A long editorial in The Hill urges the same and quashes all previous talk of "victory" by those plucky Ukrainians.

CNN: Western allies meeting regularly to game out potential framework for Ukraine negotiated settlement

"US officials have in recent weeks been meeting regularly with their British and European counterparts to discuss potential frameworks for a ceasefire and for ending the war through a negotiated settlement, multiple sources familiar with the talks told CNN"

The Hill: "Russia’s inevitable victory is [not desirable and won't be] total. The outcome of this war is a Pyrrhic victory [for Russia] at best. But it will be a victory nonetheless — and we in the West had better come to grips with that hard truth. ...

"Just as Ukraine lacks the ability to liberate all its pre-2014 territory, it also lacks the ability to liberate the recently conquered territory in the Donbas or along the Azov coast. Unlike in the north of Ukraine, these territories are central to Russian interests in Ukraine and, as such, Russia simply will not withdraw from them ....

"Nor will Ukrainian forces – themselves, it should be noted, suffering terrible attrition all along the battle front and growing weaker with each passing day – be strong enough to compel them to do so. No, like the previous two scenarios, this one is simply an impossibility.

"And that leaves only one other conceivable outcome: a fragmented and partly dismembered Ukraine, neither fully part of the West nor entirely within the Russian sphere of influence.

"A Ukraine fragmented in that the whole of the Donbas and perhaps other territories will be left beyond Kyiv’s control; partly dismembered in that Crimea will remain part of Russia (at least in Russian eyes); and not fully part of the West in that it will not be free to join NATO or even to have a meaningful partnership with the EU. Simply put, this outcome is not only not impossible, it’s not even improbable.

"And when this final scenario comes to pass, who will have won the war in Ukraine? Well, it won’t be Ukraine."

#9  NATO never should have expanded in the first place.

Our bloody Ukraine shitshow was completely predictable. Bush's father had the right idea. If Clinton had simply pursued HWBush's policies none of this would have happened.

America would be vastly wealthier, safer and better off today if NATO had been allowed to die a natural death in 1992.

I didn't do that, bud.. that betrayal was the work of Nuland, and Sullivan, and Biden and Obama and Graham and McCain and all the other neo-con shitheads who led the poor Ukrainians down the garden path.

It was unbelievably foolish and reckless to encourage them to believe for even a second that they could join NATO, or seize Crimea.

#37  There’s minimal incentive for Putin to negotiate. Currently Russia is using stand-off weapons to bleed Ukrainian manpower with acceptable Russian casualty rate (Uke infantry targeted by RF arty and missiles). While 99% not their first choice, the general staff can elect to “go slow” and “demilitarize” the Ukraine by letting them feed troops into a meat grinder. Simultaneously the West is running down their war stocks significantly enough for open commentary regarding the same. Add in that effectively the West is funding the operation by continuing to purchase Russian oil and gas in rubles - whose exchange rate versus the dollar is higher than at the beginning of the operation. Russia has also continued to sell uranium fuel for reactors to the West, aluminum, steel and other essential materials. Very likely they are turning a profit on this exercise. An old maxim is “don’t correct your opponent when they continue making mistakes.” All that being said - if NATO, the US or the Ukraine offered Russia the moon and stars on a silver platter, what have they done to engender any sense of trust? The Minsk accords were not enforced - had they been, the current fracas wouldn’t have occurred. Bottom line - the US doesn’t keep its word on international agreements or domestic ones either (“no amendment to the constitution is absolute” per Biden Thursday).

#59  June 3, 2052, New Washington, D.C.

Historians gathered today to enjoy a week of fellowship, exchange of perspectives, and gorgeous Appalachian views in our nation’s new capital, formerly Charleston, West Virginia.

Some 365 miles away, and little visited due to ongoing fallout, the ruins of the old national seat still gape beneath the sky, the graveyard of millions. It’s little comfort to know that faraway Moscow stands as even more of a ghost town, after punitive U.S. ground burst missiles rendered the region uninhabitable for tens of thousands of years.

The Post-American Historical Society has gathered scholars from every still-inhabitable region of the U.S. to explore a painful question.

The Origins of the Third World War
The keynote address, by visiting Oxford scholar Prof. Bertram Wilberforce Wooster, offered a provocative thesis. “While the question of war guilt still vexes relations between the remaining populations of North America and Eurasia, too few scholars have delved into the specific political history that led up to the conflict. Surviving records from before 2023 are limited, of course. We can only work with a few paper archives, and highly degraded electronic media discovered in cities that escaped nuclear attack. In a sense, it is easier to study the ancient Sumerians than pre-war America,” Wooster admitted.

“Nevertheless, we must strive to piece together from shards the story of the last intact America, the last intact Europe, in the hope of understanding what went wrong.”

War Was Avoidable
His fellow scholars were fascinated by records Wooster had unearthed of a major political scandal in the presidency of the last pre-war U.S. leader, Donald Trump. By careful reconstruction of recently restored court records, Wooster has concluded that the tensions which escalated between the one-time “NATO” alliance, the United States, and the Russian Federation need not have ended in a mutually suicidal conflict. “There was an off-ramp on the road to war,” Wooster said. “Alas, it was the road not taken.”

Wooster admits that the relentless drive for expansion by the U.S. and NATO in the wake of the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 made such a war always likely. “The world saw on both the putatively antiwar left, and supposedly prudent right, a broad consensus that the West should move in to traditionally Russian spheres of influence.

“While every Russian regime for 500 years had sought to increase a buffer to its west for fear of invasion, Western politicians insisted on stripping that away. They surrounded a shrinking, humiliated, resentful one-time great power with small, weak new countries connected via the NATO treaty to a nuclear hair-trigger. One really must wonder what they were thinking, or if they were thinking at all.”

The Road Not Taken
But this escalating provocation need not have continued, Wooster claims. He adduces campaign statements, policy documents, and other indications that Donald Trump, elected in 2016, sought to deescalate tensions. “Trump did not see the benefit to the United States of an endless confrontation with Russia, particularly as China was both growing economically and rearming itself at a breakneck speed. We have seen, of course, the outcome, in the doubling of Chinese territory since the Russo-American War, and Beijing’s occupation of Japan, Indochina, and the Philippines. None of this, I argue, was inevitable.”

Trump’s basic worldview argued for a rapprochement with Russia, including a negotiated settlement to the very real territorial disputes between that country and “Ukraine,” an independent nation-state whose territory was once home to tens of millions. Of course, it is now mostly empty, irradiated forests, with ghost cities roamed by animals.

The Hoax That Ended the World
“What prevented Trump from acting on his peaceful, patriotic instincts?” Wooster asked rhetorically. “I believe that I’ve found the answer.”

They’re jamming everything: How secretive electronic warfare shapes war in Ukraine
A taste:
[IsraelTimes] Ukrainian intelligence official calls Russian threat ’pretty severe’ when it comes to disrupting reconnaissance efforts, commanders’ communications with troops.

On Ukraine’s battlefields, the simple act of powering up a cellphone can beckon a rain of deathly fire. Artillery radar and remote controls for unmanned aerial vehicles may also invite showers of shrapnel.

This is electronic warfare, a critical but largely invisible aspect of Russia’s war against Ukraine. Military commanders largely shun discussing it, fearing they’ll jeopardize operations by revealing secrets.

Electronic warfare technology targets communications, navigation and guidance systems to locate, blind and deceive the enemy and direct lethal blows. It is used against artillery, fighter jets, cruise missiles, drones and more. Militaries also use it to protect their forces.

It’s an area where Russia was thought to have a clear advantage going into the war. Yet, for reasons not entirely clear, its much-touted electronic warfare prowess was barely seen in the war’s early stages in the chaotic failure to seize the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv.

It has become far more of a factor in fierce fighting in eastern Ukraine, where shorter, easier-to-defend supply lines let Russia move electronic warfare gear closer to the battlefield.

"They are jamming everything their systems can reach," said an official of Aerorozvidka, a reconnaissance team of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle tinkerers, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of safety concerns. "We can’t say they dominate, but they hinder us greatly."

A Ukrainian intelligence official called the Russian threat "pretty severe" when it comes to disrupting reconnaissance efforts and commanders’ communications with troops. Russian jamming of GPS receivers on drones that Ukraine uses to locate the enemy and direct artillery fire is particularly intense "on the line of contact," he said.

Ukraine has scored some successes in countering Russia’s electronic warfare efforts. It has captured important pieces of hardware — a significant intelligence coup — and destroyed at least two multi-vehicle mobile electronic warfare units.

Its own electronic warfare capability is hard to assess. Analysts say it has markedly improved since 2014, when Russia seized Crimea and instigated a separatist revolt in eastern Ukraine. But there are setbacks. Last week, Russia claimed it destroyed a Ukrainian electronic intelligence center in the southeastern town of Dniprovske. The claim could not be independently confirmed, and Ukrainian officials did not respond to a request for comment.

Ukraine has also made effective use of technology and intelligence from the United States and other NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A single organization with differing goals, equipment, language, doctrine, and structure....
members. Such information helped Ukraine sink the battle cruiser Moskva. Allied satellites and surveillance aircraft help from nearby skies, as does billionaire Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite communications network.

Electronic war has three basic elements: probe, attack and protect. First, intelligence is gathered by locating enemy electronic signals. On attack, "white noise" jamming disables and degrades enemy systems, including radio and cellphone communications, air defense and artillery radars. Then there is spoofing, which confuses and deceives. When it works, munitions miss their targets.

Armed Forces regrouped and take measures for restoration of control over Severodonetsk, - VCA
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Censor] In the Luhansk region, Ukrainian troops regrouped and are taking steps to return Severodonetsk to full control.

The head of VCA of Severodonetsk Alexander Stryuk reported about it, informs Censor.NET with reference to UE .

Asked what percentage of the city was occupied, Stryuk said: "I would not say that it is occupied. There was some military success on the part of the orcs, who managed to get into the city and capture a significant part of it, almost splitting in half, if we talk about residential areas where they can feel confident. But our military has managed to regroup, build a line of defense. And now all necessary measures are being taken to return the city to full control of Ukraine. The city remains Ukrainian. "

"Our military is taking all appropriate measures to push the enemy out of the city, positional street battles are being fought. This is accompanied by constant artillery shelling. The situation is quite tense, but there is hope and there is confidence in our Armed Forces that everything will work out."

Read on "Censor.NET": Russian troops captured almost all of Severodonetsk, - Butusov

According to the head of the military civilian administration, about 13,000 people remained in Severodonetsk before the assault.

"Given that there have been constant street fights for three days now, the population that was there is still there, except for a small part, which the orcs managed to forcibly remove from the city to the occupied territories," the official said.

We will remind , on June 3 the head of the Luhansk regional military administration Sergey Gaidai reported that occupation troops earlier captured about 70% of Severodonetsk, but the Armed Forces moved them back by about 20%.

More:
The head of the administration of Severodonetsk says that the city remains Ukrainian

[Vesti] Severodonetsk remains Ukrainian. This was announced on Saturday, June 4, on the air of the telethon by the head of the military-civilian administration of the city Alexander Stryuk.

According to him, the Russian military "had some military success" - they managed to capture part of the city. However, the Ukrainian military has regrouped, built a line of defense and they are trying to return Severodonetsk under full control.

" The city remains Ukrainian ... Our military is taking all appropriate measures to push the enemy out of the city, positional street battles are being waged. This is accompanied by constant artillery shelling. The situation is quite tense, but there is hope and confidence of our armed forces that everything will work out," he said Stryuk.

As Vesti.ua wrote, the head of the Lugansk regional military administration, Sergei Gaidai, said that the occupying troops had previously captured about 70% of Severodonetsk, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine moved them back by about 20% .

Severodonetsk and neighboring Lisichansk are the last major cities that Russian troops have been unable to fully control.

In 2014, after Lugansk came under the control of the self-proclaimed LPR, Severodonetsk became the administrative center of the Luhansk region of Ukraine.

And now the Russians:
Ukrainian troops lost in the battles for Severodonetsk up to 90% of the personnel
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[RIA Novosti] Some units of the Ukrainian troops lost up to 90 percent of their personnel in the battles for Severodonetsk, said Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the Russian National Defense Control Center.

"Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, having suffered critical losses, are retreating in the direction of Lisichansk," the general said.

According to him, the Kiev authorities ordered the combined tactical group to mine containers with one hundred tons of saltpeter and acid in Severodonetsk in order to delay the advance of the Russian army "by creating a zone of chemical contamination."

He stressed that in the implementation of the planned provocation, Kiev plans to accuse the Russian Armed Forces of creating a man-made environmental disaster with the dissemination of materials in Ukrainian and Western media.

As LPR Ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik said, the Azot plant located in this city continues to be cleared of Ukrainian militants, but it is held back by the possibility that they have civilians as hostages and containers with chemicals. Nevertheless, he noted that "there will be no second Azovstal here."

West warned not to draw Ukraine into NATO - Lavrov
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[REGNUM] NATO continued to grow with new countries and wanted to involve Ukraine, despite warnings from Russia and a promise not to expand. This was stated on June 4 by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov in an interview with the Radio and Television Company of the Republika Srpska.

“In parallel with the demands to fulfill the Minsk agreements, we have been reminding the West for many years that its course towards NATO expansion will end badly. The sixth expansion is now planned. We warned long ago when they began to draw Ukraine into NATO that this would be seen as a direct threat to the Russian Federation. They rejected the draft Treaty on Security Guarantees in Europe, which we proposed in 2009,” the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

He also expressed regret that in Europe they did not understand what was happening and did not touch on these topics in the media space. The purpose of these actions, Sergey Lavrov called the intention to conceal the real state of affairs from the population of European countries.

As REGNUM reported , the minister also expressed the opinion that the transfer of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) to Ukraine is a risky path. He suggested that these actions would increase the death toll in Ukraine.

China-Japan-Koreas
North Korea fires multiple ballistic missiles, Seoul says
[DW] The South Korean military said at least eight missiles were shot by North Korea
...hereditary Communist monarchy distinguished by its truculence and periodic acts of violence. Distinguishing features include Songun (Army First) policy, which involves feeding the army before anyone but the Dear Leadership, and Juche, which is Kim Jong Il's personal interpretation of Marxism-Leninism, which he told everybody was brilliant. In 1950 the industrialized North invaded agrarian South Korea. Twenty-one countries of the United Nations eventually contributed to the UN force opposing the invasion, with the United States providing around 90% of the military personnel. Seventy years later the economic results are in and it doesn't look good for Juche...
off its east coast. The move follows joint US-South Korea naval exercises in the Philippine Sea.

North Korea shot off multiplesuspected ballistic missiles off its east coast on Sunday, the South Korean military said.

WHAT DO WE KNOW SO FAR?
At least eight short-range ballistic missiles toward the sea over a 35-minute period, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said. The weapons were fired from the Sunan area near the capital city of Pyongyang.

"North Korea fired an unidentified ballistic missile(s) into the East Sea," Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff had said early in the day, referring to the Sea of Japan. This comes a day after a top United States envoy left Seoul.

US Special Representative Sung Kim on Friday met with his South Korean and Japanese counterparts — Kim Gunn and Funakoshi Takehiro — in Seoul to prepare for "all contingencies" as North Korea extended a provocative streak of weapons demonstrations this year.

This was North Korea's 18th round of missile launches this year alone, leading to more speculation about the country’s push to conduct a nuclear test for the first time since 2017.

Last month, Pyongyang test-fired at least three missiles, including possibly its largest intercontinental ballistic missile: Hwasong-17.

LATEST LAUNCHES FOLLIOW JOINT US-SOUTH KOREAN MILITARY EXERCISES
The move follows joint US and South Korean naval maneuvers including air defense, anti-ship, anti-submarine, and maritime interdiction operations. USS Ronald Reagan, a 100,000-ton nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, was among the major warships that took part.

This also comes days after US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S., father of Hunter, close friend of an imaginary negro named Corn Pop. He blames Trump for losing Afghanistan....
left South Korea after meeting newly elected President Yoon Seok-youl. They had agreed to increase bilateral military drills to deter North Korea’s nuclear expansionism.

Abbott restarts baby formula plant linked to national shortage
[DetroitNews] Abbott Nutrition has restarted production at the Michigan baby formula factory that has been closed for months due to contamination, the company said Saturday, taking a step toward easing a nationwide supply shortage expected to persist into the summer.

The February shutdown of the largest formula factory in the country led to the supply problems that have forced some parents to seek formula from food banks, friends and doctor's offices.

Abbott said it initially will prioritize production of its EleCare specialty formulas for infants with severe food allergies and digestive problems who have few other options for nutrition. The company said it will take about three weeks before new formula from the plant begins getting to consumers.

“We will ramp production as quickly as we can while meeting all requirements,” Abbott said in a statement.

The plant’s reopening is one of several federal actions that are expected to improve supplies in the weeks ahead. President Joe Biden’s administration has eased import rules for foreign manufacturers, airlifted formula from Europe and invoked federal emergency rules to prioritize U.S. production.

Abbott closed the Sturgis, Michigan, factory in February after the Food and Drug Administration began investigating four bacterial infections among infants who consumed powdered formula from the plant. Two of the babies died. The company continues to state that its products have not been directly linked to the infections, which involved different bacterial strains.

FDA inspectors eventually uncovered a host of violations at the plant, including bacterial contamination, a leaky roof and lax safety protocols. The FDA has faced intense scrutiny for taking months to close the plant and then negotiate its reopening. Agency leaders recently told Congress they had to enter a legally binding agreement with Abbott to assure all the problems were fixed.

Abbott’s February recall of several leading brands, including Similac, squeezed supplies that had already been strained by supply chain disruptions and stockpiling during COVID-19 shutdowns.

The shortage has been most dire for children with allergies, digestive problems and metabolic disorders who rely on specialty formulas. The Abbott factory is the only source of many of those products, providing nutrition to about 5,000 U.S. babies, according to federal officials.

Abbott is one of just four companies that produce about 90% of U.S. formula. The company’s recalls and shutdown triggered a cascade of effects: Retailers have limited customer purchasing to conserve supplies and parents have been told to switch brands to whatever formula is in stock.

FDA Commissioner Robert Califf recently told lawmakers it could be about two months before formula supplies return to normal levels. The agency has waived many of its regulatory requirements to accept more formula from the United Kingdom, Australia and other nations.

U.S. manufacturers, including Reckitt and Gerber, have also stepped up production, running plants 24/7 and sourcing more formula from alternate facilities.

Besoeker - You may have hit on a solution to the problem.

Make Baby Formula Illegal, and it will be plentiful supply, at least during this administration.

Then states can decriminalize it to a mandatory Phone call and $1 fine if caught.

This continuing PR nightmare is hugely damaging to the remaining meager credibility that remains to their control of power.

The Faustian Bargain between Jojo and the Kalorama Cabal always had an exit ejection seat strategy for when he became incapable of taking further political damage as he implemented their agenda of a Watermelon Dream Future (Green outside, deep Red fruit and seeds inside).
So the Puppet Show is seeing the predicate for Jojo's mid-summer departure building, and his own brief glimpses of situational awareness suggest he thinks he actually is the President, and is increasingly going off script and is dangerously unfocused on actual issues. A lifetime of learned soundbites from the past often are inconsistent with reality, especially if mangled in Biden Word-Salad. Biden Inc is approaching its Planned Parenthood Moment.

Three astronauts dock to complete construction of China's OWN 'heavenly palace' space station after United States excluded them from the ISS in 2011
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Humanity getting a second basket for its eggs...
  • The trio blasted off in a Long March-2F rocket in the early hours of the morning

  • They docked with their Tiangong space station after a seven hour flight

  • Tiangong, or 'heavenly palace,' should become fully operational by year's end

  • China has poured billions into its military-run space programme in recent years

  • It aims to launch a manned mission to the lunar surface by the end of the decade

  • Beijing built its own orbital habitat after Chinese astronauts were banned from the International Space Station in 2011
The ISS was built by five space agencies: NASA (United States), Roscosmos (Russia), JAXA (Japan), ESA (Europe), and CSA (Canada). The reason given in 2011 for barring China was that China’s space program was too new to add anything useful, but subsequent actions made it clear distrust was the real problem.

Scientists may have identified a key biological marker in psychopaths
[News Jungle] Scientists may have discovered a biological way to detect this Difference between psychopaths and non-psychopaths. The biological marker is essentially a difference in the way certain parts of the brain form in psychopathic individuals. As a result of this research, they now believe that the size of a person’s striatum could be a psychopathic marker to identify those with psychopathic tendencies.

Neuroscientists from three different universities discovered the psychopathic marker. They used magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to look for markers in the brains of both psychopathic and non-psychopathic people.

They published their findings on biological psychopathic markers in the Journal of Psychiatric Research back in March 2022. Essentially, they found that psychopaths had a 10 percent larger striatum than those in a control group of non-psychopaths

Chinese Scientists Claim to Have Produced Robot-Cloned Pigs
[Breitbart] "Cry 'Havoc!', and let slip the dogs pigs of war”
Researchers at China’s Nankai University claimed this week that they successfully cloned pigs through an entirely automated process for the first time in March, the South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported on Thursday.

A surrogate sow allegedly birthed seven cloned piglets in March at the College of Artificial Intelligence at Nankai University in northern China’s Tianjin city.

Nankai University’s cloning development, if true, is especially significant in China, which is the world’s top consumer and producer of pork. The nation currently relies heavily on the import of breeding pigs to sustain its pork industry. A reliable technique for cloning pigs could provide a cheaper pork source for China’s agriculture industry that would additionally benefit Chinese consumers.

China’s pork industry took a massive hit from 2018 to 2019 when a nationwide outbreak of the African swine fever virus decimated the nation’s pig population and killed off much of its domestic breeding pool. Beijing has promoted an agricultural campaign in the years since then designed to wean Chinese pig farmers off of imported stock and encourage them to instead breed self-sustaining herds.

“Raising a pig in China costs about two-and-a-half times more than in the United States due to costly imported feed and high levels of disease,” Reuters observed in May, adding, “Genetic improvements for cheaper meat are thus in high demand.”

The announcement of China’s latest pig cloning development this week follows years of bizarre reproductive experiments out of China, including scientists claiming to have impregnated male rats (in 2021) and produced gene-edited human babies (in 2018). In the rodent experiment, Chinese scientists say they stitched together a male and female rat. They subsequently transferred a uterus from the female to the male, and then implanted embryos from the female into the male’s transplanted uterus. In the gene-editing experiment, scientists said they created “the world’s first genetically edited babies — twin girls,” using the CRISPR gene-editing tool. A Chinese court sentenced the lead scientist on the project, He Jiankui, to three years in prison in December 2019 for “illegal medical practice,” as the use of CRISPR on human embryos is considered unethical.
