#1  Oh, my God!!
I've just realized that I've just become a criminal by posting that link, according to Victorian RACIAL AND RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE ACT 2001 - SECT 25.
The link that I posted uses basically the same arguments as the "Catch The Fire Ministry" who were found guilty of inciting hatred against Muslims.
So there I am all "afrud and trebling" waiting for the religious police to break down my door.
And don't think you guys are immune either. This law has a global reach (including the net)

"Offence of serious religious vilification

25. Offence of serious religious vilification

(1) A person (the offender) must not, on the ground of the religious belief or activity of another person or class of persons, intentionally engage in conduct that the offender knows is likely-

(a) to incite hatred against that other person or class of persons; and

(b) to threaten, or incite others to threaten, physical harm towards that other person or class of persons or the property of that other person
or class of persons.

Note: "engage in conduct" includes use of the internet or e-mail to publish or
transmit statements or other material. Penalty: In the case of a body
corporate, 300 penalty units; In any other case, imprisonment for 6 months or
60 penalty units or both.
(2) A person must not, on the ground of the religious belief or activity of another person or class of persons, knowingly engage in conduct with the intention of inciting serious contempt for, or revulsion or severe ridicule of, that other person or class of persons.

Note: "engage in conduct" includes use of the internet or e-mail to publish or
transmit statements or other material. Penalty: In the case of a body
corporate, 300 penalty units; In any other case, imprisonment for 6 months or
60 penalty units or both.

(3) For the purposes of sub-sections (1) and (2), conduct-

(a) may be constituted by a single occasion or by a number of occasions over a period of time; and

* (b) may occur in or outside Victoria.*

(4) A prosecution for an offence against sub-section (1) or (2) must not be
commenced without the written consent of the Director of Public Prosecutions."

So if you send me any cakes while I'm in the slammer, don't forget the file.

#2  Lol, tipper! There's such an amazing disconnect... We're inciting truth and honesty. If learning the truth about Islam makes people uncomfortable and offends, well, good! Lol! It's one hell of an offensive screed and deserves close scrutiny by all, condemnation by all, and reform or eradication. It is simply incompatible with freedom. And the moonbat PCism is incompatible with truth-telling. Both are destined for the bone yard.

And we won't forget the file, bro! Better yet, we'll get the world to roll back such "3 Blind Mice" legislation - or toss the sniffy & snippy "morally superior" bums out with the rest of the tranzi trash.

Israel-Palestine
David Warren: Peace with Israel?
Perhaps the reason we are reading comparatively less about "Israel/Palestine" lately is that there is so much real news, and so much of it is astounding, and hopeful. The media are allergic to good news, and run from it as from holy water. The greatest single piece of good news was presented as if it were a tragedy -- Arafat is gone. As became inmediately evident, he was blocking the only possible way forward to the "two-state solution" that all but the terrorists claim to support.
I've commented a couple times here that when Fearless Leader moves on to the Great Beyond the fanaticism of the followers tends to do the bursting bubble thing. This phenomenon is a pretty good refutation of the argument that it's the times, not the man, that makes things happen. Fascism was the coming thing in Europe in 1936, and it's nothing now, except where it's wearing a false nose, moustache and turban.
Abu Mazen -- whom we should really start calling by his real name, Mahmoud Abbas -- quickly emerged as Arafat's successor, without carnage, at least without much, and looks certain to win the January election, with the withdrawal from it of Marwan Barghouti, a more "charismatic" leader who might well have become another Arafat (as Arafat became another Mufti of Jerusalem). Mr. Barghouti is currently rotting in an Israeli jail for several well-earned life terms.
That doesn't mean Hamas is under control, nor Islamic Jihad. The leaders of both are relatively safe in foreign climes. But Yasser was the driver. If he'd kicked it while Sheikh Yassin yet breathed, maybe things would have been different, but he didn't, so they're not. The Bad Guy bloc has to reconstitute itself. They may be able to do that, but not with the head cheeses leading from a distance. And any Fearless Leaders who do arise stand a chance of being helizapped.
Mr. Abbas made at least some mark as an appointive prime minister with slight independent powers under the Arafat regime. He was among the soi-disant architects of the Oslo accords, and his reputation as a "moderate" comes from having actually said aloud that the Intifada Arafat launched in 2000 had not proved to be in the interest of the Palestinian people. He bravely and publicly opposed the actions of Arafat's Al Fatah, and protested the "militarization" of the Intifada -- by which he meant, the vast arms smuggling that was turning Palestinian society into a terror camp. He correctly guessed that Israel could not be defeated by any imaginable Palestinian military means; and moreover that the days when the armies of Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq would come to the Palestinians' aid were long gone.
Egypt and Jordan have come to the sensible conclusion that they'll get more politically than militarily, thereby proving themselves brighter than Iraq, where an "intifada" is also not working, and Syria, where the Boy President is stuck between rock and hard place.

#1  I had no idea Warren could jump so high or so far. He's really out there and he's even lugged along a big bag of presumptions. Road Map? Didn't they leave that in the restroom back in Tucumcari? Or was it Tierra Del Fuego? Anyway, I don't see one, we're 2 years+ into the timeline - and there's still not one in progress - the Paleos have never even begun to perform their tasks.

Where does this optimism come from? So Abbas, the Holocaust-denier, and proud of it, is the Paleo Knight in Shining Armor that Israel can deal with? Puhleeze. He won't actually control dick - wait and see. With Fatah and Hamas and The Forty Flavors of Fuckwit Brigades still in action and acting as if they are the "government" with overwhelming Paleo support (by recent polls), still bombing and killing at every opportunity, I see Arafat's death as nothing more than one more asshole dead. And soooo many more to go.

Don't buy it. Not a word. Build the damned fence. Faster.

So is the West Bank and Gaza.

#4  .com, the Roadkillmap was doomed and delayed as long as Arafat was around. I think Bush knew that and used the plan as a way of isolating Arafat further. It worked, too.

Now Abu Whashisface is in charge, and Fred is right: the bubble does seem to have burst. So now we can start the clock on the plan. It's time 0, and Abu WHF had better start making progress.

#5  The real test for the "holocust denier" is the curbing of the rabid dogs of the Hamas and Islamic Gihad.
As long as they are shelling civilians, the only gestures Abu Mazen is going to get from us will be in the form of hellfire missiles.
If he cant deliver a complete stop to terror acts
he is as good as dead (most probably from some Hamas fuckwit armed with a Fatwa(TM)and an AK47.
