Arizona Supreme Court Finally Hands Kari Lake a Win, but the Media Doesn't Want You to Know About It
[PJMedia] The Arizona Supreme Court handed GOP 2022 gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake a win and is forcing a lower court to look at voter signature verification issues.

The decision is a huge win for Lake, who has all but declared war on those who she believes are involved in shady Arizona elections.

What does this decision mean?

Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice Robert Brutinel wrote that the court would decide whether or not Lake could prove her claim — that Maricopa County did not comply with Arizona election law regarding ballot tabulation. Lake must also prove that there were enough potentially fraudulent votes to affect the outcome of the election based on a “competent mathematical basis to conclude that the outcome would plausibly have been different, not simply an untethered assertion of uncertainty.”

Lake announced in January that she had three whistleblowers who claim 130,000 votes had been rejected because of bogus signatures, but “higher-ups” insisted they be counted.

These 130,000 votes are key because Democrat Katie Hobbs “won” by only 17,000 votes. If Lake can prove electoral skullduggery — which she claims she can — this may turn Arizona upside down, and will likely give credence to the “conspiracy theory” of election fraud in Arizona during the 2020 elections.

FACT-O-RAMA! Most of the Arizona election “problems” — such as malfunctioning voting machines — took place in Maricopa County, considered a Republican stronghold.

What happens if Lake can prove she was cheated? That remains a mystery. Hobbs has been in the governor’s seat for three months.

Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law Professor Paul Bender told Newsweek that there is little chance Lake will be successful in taking over the governor’s mansion. If nothing else, a Lake victory will show the nation that elections can be and are being stolen from We the People, even though the left has bent over backward to suggest that elections — at least after 2016 — are fraud-free.

#1  While this is good news, I expect the appeal to untimely fail because our courts are corrupt. This was apparent to me when Emmitt Sullivan tried to rent a replacement prosecutor.

Government Corruption
Deja Vu? Thursday's Trump Grand Jury Session In NYC Abrubtly Cancelled
Dear Mr. Bragg, I have an old Klingon proverb for you - never let your mouth write a check your ass can't cash.
[Gateway Pundit] - The New York City grand Jury investigating alleged 2016 indirect hush money payments by President Trump had their second session in a row canceled on Thursday. The investigation by Soros backed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has apparently been thrown into chaos following the bombshell testimony of former federal prosecutor Robert Costello to the grand jury on Monday that undercut Bragg and star witness Michael Cohen.

CNN reported on the Thursday cancellation (excerpt):

The Manhattan grand jury investigating Trump’s alleged role in a scheme to pay hush money to an adult film star will not hear that case when it convenes today, according to two sources familiar with the matter, pushing the Manhattan’s district attorney’s probe into next week.

...The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office is trying to determine whether to call back Trump’s former lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen, to refute the testimony provided earlier this week by lawyer Robert Costello —or to call an additional witness to buttress their case before the grand jurors consider a vote on whether to indict the former president, the source familiar with the investigation said.

CNN also reported the earliest the grand jury could meet is Monday next week and that an unnamed witness has been told they may be recalled to give more testimony.
1) It's obvious Bragg has nothing or he would have indicted by now. 2) This has to be pissing off the jurors, doesn't it?

Chaos at court as Trump grand jury hearing canceled, Bragg now concerned about indictment and ADAs are 'shaking their heads'
Follow up to this story from yesterday.
[NYPOST] The Manhattan grand jury hearing evidence against former President Donald Trump
...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US...
in the Stormy Daniels "hush money" case didn’t reconvene Wednesday as scheduled, court officials told The Post.

The afternoon session was unexpectedly canceled by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, the sources said.

Members of the panel were told to stay home and be on standby for Thursday, a law enforcement source said.

The move — which forestalls a potentially unprecedented indictment of the 45th president in connection with the payment of $130,000 to porn star Stormy Daniels — came because an unidentified witness was unable to appear, sources said.

The witness is believed to be someone who will rebut Monday’s testimony from lawyer and Trump ally Robert Costello, sources said.

The grand jury was put on standby because it was unclear whether the witness would be available Thursday, a source said.

But court workers began making preparations late Wednesday afternoon for the testimony to take place Thursday, a source said.

#4  ...This gets funnier every single time I see a story.

I am wondering - and bear with me, fellow Burgers, while I explain - if there was never going to BE an indictment in the first place.

Mr. District Attorney over there may be evil, but he's not stupid - he knew perfectly well that his chances of getting an indictment that would stick were just about zero. OTOH, he could keep a grand jury going indefinitely with a steady stream of hints, allegations, and calumny that would keep the MSM in fits of ecstasy well into the election season. Trump and his people would demolish the best case Bragg could bring, Trump would once more have beaten the odds, and Bragg would look like a fool, and Bragg didn't want that.

Instead, somebody either leaked a garbled version of what was actually going on or Trump's people took a chance with their 'Tuesday' statements. Either way now, Bragg's stuck - he'll lose in court or he'll be crucified by his Fellow Travelers. The possibility that there's exculpatory issues (which never would have come to light with no indictment) is icing on the cake.

Well, somebody needs to make up my mind - is Trump a drooling moron incapable of coherent thought or a fiendishly brilliant political genius who would make Machiavelli look like Mortimer Snerd? ;)

#9  From the wishful thinking department, but it'd be nice to learn if fatso Bragg was pushed into doing this to make him look like a fool to ultimately oust him some how. If not even Merrick "the Wimp" Garland didn't consider pursuing charges (federal vs local, yeah), then why now? This is even way more Mickey Mouse than January 6th crapola.

#13  If you remember , Rashida Talib ran for office and was elected on a simple promise to impeach Trump. Bragg did the same thing. He is still likely to indict Trump.

An NYC judge and jury are likely to be as anti-Trump as Bragg so there may be a conviction in the same type of railroad circumstances that you saw with Alex Jones. The judge may declare Trump in default spontaneously and take it directly to sentencing in a proceeding that approximates the animatronics styling of the Chuck E Cheese band, MMBB.
I believe Bragg will make an indictment because that was his promise. A guilty verdict will be the flip side of the coin to the Sussmann result where a guilty man was totally exonerated.

If Bragg does not indict because his case is just too bogus, the torch will be passed to the Georgia grand jury or the special counsel for a continuation of the sham. Remember the jury Forman in Georgia? Does anyone think that looked like a fair process?

#15  OTOH, he could keep a grand jury going indefinitely with a steady stream of hints, allegations, and calumny that would keep the MSM in fits of ecstasy well into the election season.

Bogus charges to keep the MSM in fits of ecstasy are what the Dems have been doing for the past seven years. But with a New York grand jury, they may now have calculated that they can get an indictment and conviction no matter how weak the case is, no matter if their star witness Michael Cohen has been thoroughly impeached. With a judge who is in on the deal and on the take, a motion for change of venue will be denied. Dems may be planning for more Jan 6 style agents procateurs to spark violence at the mass protests that will certainly result. Then they can declare martial law and suspend the constitution. Hope I'm wrong but these people are evil.

Long term political ad character hit crossed my mind too.

Putting out official ingredients so the news actors could bake up whatever slanders they could think up.

Would be consistent. Maybe that's all it was supposed to be but Bragg started believing his own bullshit.

#18  "House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan just sent letters to former special prosecutors Carey Dunne and Mark Pomerantz demanding documents and testimony relating to Manhattan D.A.Bragg’s unprecedented abuse of prosecutorial authority amid the reported impending indictment of former President Donald Trump," Jordan's office released Thursday. "Dunne and Pomerantz both resigned from their positions in the DA’s Office in January 2022 after Bragg’s initial reluctance to move forward with charges against President Trump. Since leaving the DA’s office, Dunne and Pomerantz have publicly criticized Bragg for refusing to aggressively prosecute President Trump and now have even opened a law firm to bring lawsuits to prevent President Trump from holding future office." Hunter Biden used FBI mole named 'One-Eye' to tip him off to China probes: tipster
[NYPOST] Hunter Biden
...son of President Joe: cashiered from the Navy, a crackhead, wheeler dealer, leg humper, horn dog, and general all around ne'er do well. We're supposed to feel sorry for him...
had an FBI
...Formerly one of the world's premier criminal investigation organizations, something for a nation to be proud of. Now it's a political arm of the Deep State oligarchy that is willing to trump up charges, suppress evidence, or take out insurance policies come election time...
mole named "One-Eye" who tipped off his Chinese business partners that they were under investigation, according to an Israeli energy expert arrested in Cyprus last month on gunrunning charges.

The House Oversight Committee is investigating the explosive claims by Dr. Gal Luft, a former Israel Defense Forces lieutenant colonel with deep intelligence ties in Washington and Beijing, who says he was arrested to stop him from revealing what he knows about the Biden family and FBI corruption — details he told the Department of Justice in 2019, which he says it ignored.

Luft, 56, first made the claims on Feb. 18 on Twitter, after being detained at a Cyprus airport as he prepared to board a plane to Israel.

"I’ve been arrested in Cyprus on a politically motivated extradition request by the U.S. The U.S., claiming I’m an arms dealer. It would be funny if it weren’t tragic. I’ve never been an arms dealer.

"DOJ is trying to bury me to protect Joe, Jim, and Hunter Biden.

"Shall I name names?"

Luft remains in jail awaiting extradition to the US over what he says are trumped-up charges of arms trafficking to China and Libya, and violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

Through his American lawyer, Robert Henoch, Luft said he tried four years ago to inform the DOJ that Chinese state-controlled energy company CEFC had paid $100,000 a month to President Biden’s son Hunter and $65,000 to Joe’s brother Jim, in exchange for their FBI connections and use of the Biden name to promote China’s Belt and Road Initiative around the world.
The DoJ refuses to be informed. I would question Luft's intelligence for even making the attempt.
Luft learned about the scheme through his own relationship with Hunter’s Chinese business partners, Patrick Ho and Ye Jianming, the chairman of CEFC.
