As expected, Atlanta mayor stirs steaming Ahmaud Arbery pot
[The Hill] Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) said Sunday that rhetoric from the White House gives "permission" to people who are "prone to being racist."

Her comments on CNN's "State of the Union" were in response to questions regarding the shooting of Ahmaud Arbery, a 25-year-old black man killed in February.

Bottoms said the circumstances surrounding Arbery’s death are part of a larger issue around the country.

"The rhetoric that we hear coming out of the White House in many ways, I think many who are prone to being racist are given permission to do it in an overt way in a way we wouldn't [otherwise] see in 2020," she said.

Bottoms said if local leadership fails in cities across the country, the Justice Department is supposed to step in and "make sure people are appropriately prosecuted."

#2  Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) said Sunday that rhetoric from the White House gives "permission" to people who are "prone to being racist."

Let's take the last ten years of crime data we have and count the number of blacks killed by whites and the number of whites killed by blacks. The disparity is awesome. It's Mayor Bottoms and company who tolerate and give permission to what is basically a one sided war by burying the facts.

Fifth Column
Why is Obama Panicking Now? – The Importance of Understanding Political Surveillance In The Era of President Obama…
[Conservative Tree House] Why is former President Obama calling forth all his defensive resources now? Why did former national security advisor Susan Rice write her cya letter? Why have republicans in congress not been willing to investigate the true origins of political surveillance? What is the reason for so much anger, desperation and opposition from a variety of interests?

With the release of recent transcripts and the declassification of material from within the IG report, the Carter Page FISA and Flynn documents showing FBI activity, there is a common misconception about why the intelligence apparatus began investigating the Trump campaign in the first place. Why was Donald Trump considered a threat?

In this outline we hope to provide some fully cited deep source material that will explain the origin; and specifically why those inside the Intelligence Community began targeting Trump and using Confidential Human Sources against campaign officials.

During the time-frame of December 2015 through April 2016 the NSA database was being exploited by contractors within the intelligence community doing unauthorized searches.

On March 9, 2016, oversight personnel doing a review of FBI system access were alerted to thousands of unauthorized search queries of specific U.S. persons within the NSA database.

NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers was made aware.

Subsequently NSA Director Rogers initiated a full compliance review of the system to identify who was doing the searches; & what searches were being conducted.

On April 18, 2016, following the preliminary audit results, Director Rogers shut down all FBI contractor access to the database after he learned FISA-702 “about”(17) and “to/from”(16) search queries were being done without authorization. Thus begins the first discovery of a much bigger background story.

When you compile the timeline with the people involved; and the specific wording of the resulting review, which was then delivered to the FISA court; and overlay the activity that was taking place in the GOP primary; what we discover is a process where the metadata collected by the NSA was being searched for political opposition research and surveillance.

#1  The tens of 000s of unauthorized searches by NSA plumbers, er, contractors, are the real smoking gun here.

This is prima favor evidence of spying on a political opponent -- not by a few wetworks characters breaking into a hotel room but a highly coordinated, centralized digital operation executed on a vast scale.

Far bigger and more disturbing than Watergate.

Obama, Brennan, Clapper et al. need to go to prison for this.

We can never allow this to happen again in this Republic -- if we wish to keep it.

#3  That's stunning, Besoeker.

The Montgomery-Klayman revelations are stunning. The key figure in the cover-up-- whom we've heard little about so far -- is Comey-Mueller hatchet man and FBI General Counsel Janes Baker. Where is Baker now?

Key excerpt from the analysis linked above:

In August 2015, FBI General Counsel James Baker, who reported directly to FBI Director James Comey, took possession of Dennis Montgomery’s physical evidence.
Montgomery says that the evidence he provided to the FBI proves the existence of an illegal, Orwellian surveillance system weaponized to take down Obama’s political enemies.

FBI General Counsel Baker played one of the most important roles in Mueller’s operation to take down Trump.

It was Baker who met with Mother Jones investigative reporter David Corn weeks before the 2016 election, just before Corn broke the story of the now-discredited Trump Dossier.
The dossier was attributed to former British spy Christopher Steele.

Baker managed Comey’s FBI whistleblower investigation of Montgomery’s claim that Obama’s intelligence chiefs Mueller, Brennan, and Clapper put together a surveillance system that spied on Trump. Both Baker and Lisa Page worked as FBI legal analysts for Comey. Lisa Page resigned from the FBI on the same day as FBI General Counsel James Baker according to the New York Times.

Klayman accuses Baker, who handled the day-to-day aspects of the Montgomery whistleblower investigation for Comey, of “burying” the Montgomery case.

#4  The Hildebeeste was the selected replacement for the sock puppet and useful idiot Obama. The populist candidate Donald Trump got in the way. He had to be stopped. All the assets of the Deep State were marshalled to prevent Trump from being elected.

Many of the same Deep State forces are actively attempting to prevent Donald Trump from gaining a second term.

#5  Interestingly, the Montgomery-Klaan revelations indicate the domestic spying / political surveillance operation predates Trump's candidacy by a few years.

So it would appear that this effort had been field-tested -- QA'd as it were -- and was this ready to be ramped up and put in high gear on March 9, 2016, after it became clear (given the results of Super Tuesday on March 8) that OrangeMan was the presumptive GOP nominee.

Nothing haphazard or ad how about it. This smacks of a top-down, centrally-managed conspiracy. Zero needs to go to prison for this.

#6  It is my belief that the global Clinton Foundation and associated tentacles provided a valuable intelligence community money laundering mechanism and cover for action. What better method of hiding a money creating and distribution machine than hiding it behind the Green Door, a Green Door with a secret and unlimited budget. Pretty shrewd of the Clinton's I'd reckon. Might not have worked so well for Jeffrey Epstein however.

Remember how angry she became, refusing to concede the election defeat, refusing to appear on stage as the election results rolled in? She had been made a promise. The promise was not kept.

Gov. Cuomo admits he was wrong to order nursing homes to accept coronavirus patients
[NYPOST] Gov. Andrew Sonny Cuomo has finally admitted — tacitly and partially, anyway — the mistake that was state health chief Howard Zucker’s order that nursing homes must admit coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
-positive patients.

On Sunday, Cuomo announced a new regulation: Such patients must now test negative for the virus before hospitals can return them to nursing homes. Yet the gov also admitted that COVID-19 cases might still go to the facilities via other routes, and didn’t explicitly overrule Zucker’s March 25 mandate that homes must accept people despite their testing status — indeed, couldn’t even require a test pre-admission.

The gov’s people say that a home that simply can’t accommodate coronavirus patients never had to take them — though they are obliged to help those people find a place that will, with help available from the state if needed. That is: Zucker’s mandate was never more than a "don’t discriminate" rule.

Durham moving ‘full-throttle' on Russia probe review, top federal prosecutors involved: sources
[Fox News] U.S. Attorney for Connecticut John Durham is going "full throttle" with his review into the origins of the investigation into suspected Russia-Trump coordination in the 2016 election, with additional top prosecutors involved in looking at different components of the original probe, sources told Fox News.

Two sources told Fox News that Jeff Jensen, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri who was tapped by the Justice Department in February to review the case of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, is continuing to help with Durham's investigation even after the DOJ's move last week to drop the case against Flynn.

The sources told Fox News that interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Timothy Shea is also assisting with components of the investigation.

"They farmed the investigation out because it is too much for Durham and he didn't want to be distracted," one of the sources told Fox News.

"He's going full throttle, and they're looking at everything," the source told Fox News.

The Justice Department declined to comment on Jensen and Shea's involvement. Any indication that Durham could be building a case against anyone involved in the original Russia probe, however, is sure to inflame tensions between the Trump administration and congressional Democrats -- who already are ramping up accusations that these Justice Department reviews have become politicized. They slammed Attorney General Bill Barr for the DOJ's decision Thursday to drop the Flynn case.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold
"Nad-Less"
Nadler, D-N.Y., who was a key figure during Trump's impeachment proceedings, called the decision "outrageous."

"The evidence against General Flynn is overwhelming," Nadler, D-N.Y., said in a statement. Nadler and Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee on Friday also formally requested that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz launch an investigation into Barr's "pattern of conduct that includes improper political interference."

The DOJ determined that the bureau's 2017 Flynn interview -- which formed the basis for his guilty plea of lying to investigators -- was "conducted without any legitimate investigative basis."

#17  Reassortment of the influenza virus genome

Mutation is an important source of RNA virus diversity that is made possible by the error-prone nature of RNA synthesis. Viruses with segmented genomes, such as influenza virus, have another mechanism for generating diversity: reassortment.

When an influenza virus infects a cell, the individual RNA segments enter the nucleus. There they are copied many times to form RNA genomes for new infectious virions. The new RNA segments are exported to the cytoplasm, and then are incorporated into new virus particles which bud from the cell.

If a cell is infected with two different influenza viruses, the RNAs of both viruses are copied in the nucleus. When new virus particles are assembled at the plasma membrane, each of the 8 RNA segments may originate from either infecting virus. The progeny that inherit RNAs from both parents are called reassortants. This process is illustrated in the diagram below, which shows a cell that is co-infected with two influenza viruses L and M. The infected cell produces both parental viruses as well as a reassortant R3 which inherits one RNA segment from strain L and the remainder from strain M.

#21  Yes, Mr G. Virology is a depressing subject. Some say just a matter of time. I have known of lab work here on avian flu. Pneumonia is a fast killer and a virus would be of course an effective bio weapon. My opinion is a non living virus of one type or another naturally will find its host. We carry many normally. Viruses have been here millions of years and will be till the end of time. I'd rather deal with these little buggers internally. Self defense. That has been my approach for over 40 years. Denial of service so to speak.

#22  If a cell is infected with two different influenza viruses, the RNAs of both viruses are copied in the nucleus. When new virus particles are assembled at the plasma membrane, each of the 8 RNA segments may originate from either infecting virus.

The other day we had a story about rat Hepatitis E suddenly jumping from rats to humans in Hong Kong. Unexpectedly.

Scientists say that while most people experience mild symptoms from the rat hepatitis E virus, those with weakened immune systems can experience severe symptoms, including tissue scarring and liver damage.

It struck me as curious that there are TWO viral outbreaks where the virus is both contagious AND causes mild symptoms in most people. Not unpossible, just curious that we have two epidemics running at once.

A virus that is contagious and asymptomatic makes for a great bio-weapon - except for the mild/asymptomatic part. But suppose you had two viruses that functioned like a binary nerve gas where each part is relatively safe on it's own, but when you combine them, they're deadly. We know that deaths with the Kung Flu typically occur when the patient also has another condition (comorbidity). Suppose that condition were infection with another virus - say, rat Hep E to pick a random example.

Not drawing any conclusions, just pondering...

Alexander Vindman, the insufferably pompous impeachment witness against President Trump who was billed as Mr. Straight-Arrow, and wore his medalled military uniform to congressional hearings to get the point across, has been, like former Defense department official Evelyn Farkas, caught declaring one thing for the cameras, and another thing in secret testimony under penalty of perjury.

#1  "Mr. Straight Arrow" ....yes of course, straight out of Klingon central casting. Alex, be sure to wear your uniform. You do still have it right? If not, or the jacket no longer fits, please get over to Belvoir and get a new one. You must appear in uniform.

#13  He was promoted to the rank of major in 2008,and to lieutenant colonel in September 2015. Wikipedia says he's still in the Army, but Beginning in 2008, Vindman became a Foreign Area Officer specializing in Eurasia.

#16  RE: CIB - You need to be assigned to an infantry unit, performing duties of an infantry billet, and come under fire.

You can be sitting at a desk on your FOB and get it because the bad guys fired in a rocket or mortar round near you, as long as you are an infantryman assigned to an infantry unit in a combat zone.

He got his purple heart from an IED that hit his convoy at the beginning of his only deployment, which would also account for the CIB. His wound was minor enough that he served 11 more months in Iraq after being wounded.

his testimony boiled down to the fact that he didn’t like the President actually making foreign policy decisions and that his panties were in a wad because the President ignored his advice. He offered nothing of value as far as an impeachable offenses go and really had no first hand knowledge of anything.

What Vindman did do was illegally share information classified at a very high level with Eric Ciaramella.

Vindman was insubordinate, ignored chain of command, leaked, and lied to Congress about not knowing who the whistleblower is, when he clearly knew because he was the whistleblower's primary source.

Courts martial should be convened on him: UCMJ Articles 90, 92, 133 and 134 are a good start.

Following Last Week's Release Attorney Clevenger Alleges Office of DNI Has Communications Between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks – Russia Collusion a Lie!
[Gatewaypundit] ...[L]ast Friday, after years of being hidden by corrupt lying Representative Adam Schiff in Congress, a number of testimonies related to the Russia collusion sham were unveiled after Schiff received pressure from Richard Grenell, the Acting Director of National Intelligence (ADNI). One transcript was from Crowdstrike’s Shawn Henry who stated under oath that Crowdstrike had no evidence that Russia even "exfiltrated" the emails from the DNC. The whole ’Russia stole the DNC emails and sent them to WikiLeaks’ story was a fraud.

This leads us to today. Many people suspected that in 2016 a young man working for the DNC by the name of Seth Rich, copied emails from the DNC and shared them with WikiLeaks. Mr. Rich was murdered in Washington D.C. in July 2016 but his wallet, phone and watch were found on his person when the police arrived at the scene. We reported numerous oddities surrounding his death.

For years the Seth Rich story has been covered up and labeled a conspiracy. However, we reported numerous incidents and activities within the Deep State related to covering up the Seth Rich story. We recently reported that Judicial Watch released documents obtained in a FARA request. These emails revealed that corrupt cops Peter Strzok and Jonathan Moffa were copied in an email regarding a report from Daily Mail where ex-Brit Craig Murray claimed he traveled to Washington DC and obtained Clinton emails in an exchange in a wooded area near American University.

The Mueller gang never looked into the Seth Rich matter and never interviewed Julian Assange from WikiLeaks to determine who provided him the DNC emails which were reportedly the cause of the Russia collusion sham.

#1  Actual Wikileaks source destroyed 10 July 2016. Kak disturbing, high profile pro-Brexit/pro-Scotland Independence Craig Murray receives very stern message.

No leads, no suspects, no interest. Anyone who brings up the topic is immediately labeled a conspiracy theorist. End of discussion.

Russian hacker narrative lives on. What are your questions ?

#3  It's just simply pathetic, isn't it?

#4  From page 32 of 80 of Mr. Henry's testimony, representing Crowdstrike:

MR. SCHIFF: It provides in the report on 2016, April 22nd, data staged for exfiltration by the Fancy Bear actor.

MR.HENRY:Yes,sir. So that, again, staged for, which, I mean, there's not -- the analogy I used with Mr. Stewart earlier was we don't have video of it happening, but there are indicators that it happened. There are times when we can see data exfiltrated, and we can say conclusively. But in this case, it appears it was set up to be exfiltrated, but we just don't have the evidence that says it actually left.

[My emphasis) So the DNC data was set up to be stolen, but there were no indicators discovered that showed it had actually been stolen. That was the April, 2016 attack (page 27).

There was a subsequent September attack, which used different tools than the earlier attack, and was successful. (Page 28) I do not, at this time, understand the timing and significance of the second attack.

#5  Unless, of course, the September 2016 hack has something to do with the Seth Richards/Wikileaks affair.

#6  Shortly after the murder I read somewhere a strange report about it I do not remember where.

It was reporting of an interview with the emergency room physician who treated Seth Rich when he arrived at the hospital.
That Doctor stated that he believed that Rich would recover from his wounds, and arranged for a bed for him in the hospital. In checking on rich later, he is said to have claimed that police, or people claiming to police had prevented access to Seth's room, even to doctors. And as a result, this doctor claimed, Seth had died, I guess from loss of blood, during the night.
This was such a peculiar story, which was published before I was aware that Seth worked for the DNC, that it did not seem to be politically motivated; just spooky. I wonder if there was any truth to it.
If so he was actually murdered in the hospital.

#7  I remember something like that, too, daniel, you're right.

And then there is that g.d. f'in kurva Debbie Wasserman Schultz....

#8  More on #4, from page 79 of 80 -

MR. HENRY: Sir, I was just trying to be factually accurate, that we didn't see the data leave, but we believe it left, based on what we saw.

So no direct evidence, like the subsequent hack, but circumstantial evidence sufficient for CrowdStrike to conclude it was taken. Not exactly "no evidence" as the GP article states.
