Media’s blind eye to Joepin-&-shut case in Biden corruption allegations
It’s the biggest con ever perpetuated by the national media.
For all of their hysterics over “disinformation” and “collusion,” we know now that they were indisputably the most guilty of both.
Recent reports show how the Washington ruling class, including career intelligence officials, the media and Big Tech, plotted well in advance to suppress and discredit the fully authentic and legitimate Hunter Biden laptop story, solely for the purpose of influencing the 2020 election.
The greatest offense was on behalf of the news media, the constitutionally protected institution charged with holding the powerful to account.
In 2020, they abandoned that mission to do the complete opposite.
Journalist Matt Taibbi laid out in meticulous detail Thursday how the influential left-wing Aspen Institute, with events attended by members of every major news publication, literally coached the media in the months leading up to the election on how to handle materials that would cast the Biden family in a negative light.
[JustTheNews] Feds didn't take former U.S. Attorney Bud Cummins up on his offer, but later scoured his phone records seeking his sources.
A respected former federal prosecutor approached the U.S. Justice Department in fall 2018 on behalf of a foreign witness who claimed to have evidence that Joe Biden had "exercised influence to protect" his son's employer in Ukraine in return for money to his family, according to interviews and documents obtained by Just the News.
The agency didn't take up the ex-prosecutor on his offer but instead secretly obtained his phone records a year later in an apparent effort to identify his contacts.
Retired Little Rock, Ark., U.S. Attorney Bud Cummins wrote then-New York U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman on Oct. 4, 2018 that then-Ukraine Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko was willing to travel to the United States to present evidence about the Bidens and Burisma Holdings.
Lutsenko believes "VP Biden (and Sec State Kerry) exercised influence to protect Burisma Holdings in exchange for payments to Hunter Biden, (business partner) Devon Archer, and Joe Biden," Cummins emailed Berman.
Hunter Biden and his business partner Devon Archer were both hired to the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian natural gas firm, in spring 2014 while Joe Biden was vice president and in charge of U.S.-Ukraine policy.
The hiring raised eyebrows since the gas company was considered corrupt by the U.S. State Department and State officials have testified they believed the hiring of the VP's son created the appearance of a conflict of interest.
In a series of emails, Cummins said Lutsenko could produce two "John Doe" witnesses who could corroborate the claims, including that some of the money Burisma paid to Hunter Biden as a board member for Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky's firm benefited Joe Biden.
"There is a claim they have proof of a wire of significant funds from Zlochevsky to Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC which they claim directly went to the benefit of Joe Biden," Cummins wrote. "I have never understood why they think they know it went to him. I think the entity was associated with Hunter Biden and Archer.
"All I have been told is that the person who made the transfers was told that 'one goes to Joe Biden.' A little thin," Cummins wrote in one of several emails trying to prod Berman to set up a meeting.
In an interview with Just the News and The New York Post, Cummins said he was surprised DOJ didn't engage and try to determine if what Ukrainian officials were alleging was true,
"I can't really imagine a legitimate reason for the DOJ not to follow up on an offer like that," he said. "I felt like it was stonewalled."
Cummins, who served as chief federal prosecutor for the Arkansas federal district under George W. Bush, said he was even more stunned late last year when he got a belated notice from Apple that federal prosecutors obtained data in 2019 from his iPhone with a grand jury subpoena.
Cummins' 2018 approach to the top federal prosecutor in Manhattan is the second known instance in which a witness came forward with allegations that the current president engaged in illegal behavior when he was Barack Obama's vice president.
House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) revealed last week that the FBI received information in June 2020 from a confidential human source, or informant, alleging that Joe Biden was involved in a pay-to-play bribery scheme in Ukraine.
Comer subpoenaed FBI Director Christopher Wray in May of this year to turn over the FD-1023 report that details the informant's allegations, and both lawmakers said they were concerned the FBI and DOJ did not thoroughly investigate the informant's claim.
"The information provided by a whistleblower raises concerns that then-Vice President Biden allegedly engaged in a bribery scheme with a foreign national," said Comer in a statement released by House Oversight last week. "The American people need to know if President Biden sold out the United States of America to make money for himself. Senator Grassley and I will seek the truth to ensure accountability for the American people."
Hunter Biden has denied any wrongdoing but acknowledges he is under federal criminal investigation for tax matters. His legal team met with DOJ about the case late last month and is reportedly expecting Hunter Biden to be indicted soon.
[PJMedia] Grab your mask and light a scented Dr. Fauci halo candle, for it is time to behold one of California Governor Gavin Newsom’s biggest scandals* ever. Its stench is so thick you can smell it at the White House. You’ve been warned.
Newsom so badly managed the COVID pandemic that he and his failing-up head of the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency, Julie Su — destined to "serve" in the Biden Administration — gave out $31 billion in COVID unemployment money to criminals who were in and out of prison, who lived outside of the country, and who identified as "Mr. Poopy Pants," "John Doe," and Senator Dianne Feinstein (hint: she’s never been unemployed so long as dumb voters keep sending her back to the United States Senate).
McGregor Scott, who was hired to investigate the Gavin Newsom/Julie Su disaster, found that "most of those committing the fraud were domestic and international organized crime rings, as well as prison inmates inside and outside the state."
Helluva job, Gavin.
Because state’s can’t print money — thank God — Newsom borrowed the billions from the U.S. Treasury. In turn, the Treasury just printed up some inflata-dollars to hand over to the states to give to the scammers and MS 13 soldier boys doing time in San Quentin.
The Treasury Department told Epoch Times that California owes the most COVID funny money "with approximately $18.6 billion outstanding as of May 2, followed by New York’s $8 billion, Connecticut’s $187 million, and Colorado’s $77 million, according to U.S. Treasury Department data."
Wow, that’s a lot. But great news, America. Things are going great in California. Newsom said so in 2022.
Newsom said his state’s economy was so robust that "California [was] poised to now become the 4th largest economy in the WORLD. Our growth continues to outpace other states and nations as we overtake Germany’s spot on the global stage... CA’s best days are ahead."
Now that it’s time to pay up, Gavin Newsom has defaulted on the loan.
And here’s the "best" part. Governor Hair Gel says if the Biden Administration gives him any blowback he’ll demand California businesses cover the billions he and Julie Su illegally and incompetently gave away to Mr. Poopy Pants and company.
The Times reported that federal regulations mandate that if the state doesn’t pay up, "the federal unemployment tax rate of .6 percent is set to increase by .3 percent annually, starting in 2023, until the loan is extinguished."
Gavin Newsom and would-be Biden Labor apparatchik Julię Su, the woman the governor rhapsodized over as "a tireless fighter for working Americans and a voice for the voiceless...guiding us through recovery toward becoming a safer, more equitable and more prosperous nation," just did a bunk. They left businesses holding the bag.
[Free Beacon] Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) will host a congressional event this week to mourn Israel's founding alongside an array of anti-Israel groups, some of which have defended terrorism.
The Wednesday event marks the "Nakba," a Palestinian term for the creation of Israel that loosely translates as "catastrophe." Though Tlaib is listed as a "special guest" on the invitation, the event will take place at the Capitol Visitor Center, whose event space can only be reserved by a sitting member of Congress.
Tlaib's cosponsors include Jewish Voice for Peace, a "radical anti-Israel activist group" that pushes the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement
...an astroturf project of the PLO for the purpose of first driving Israel out of polite society, then making the country Judenfrei...
and has come under fire for glorifying Palestinian terrorism. Other organizers include Emgage Action, another BDS supporter that claims Israel is an "apartheid state," and Americans for Justice in Palestine Action, an advocacy group that claims Jewish money is infecting politics.
The event is Tlaib's latest effort to give a mainstream platform to organizations long shunned by the majority of lawmakers on both sides of the aisle. The Democratic "Squad" member has accused American Jews of having dual loyalties to Israel. Last year, she spoke at a Nakba rally with a pro-Hamas newspaper editor who has encouraged Palestinians to attack Israelis, the Washington Free Beacon reported.
Nakba celebrations are common among anti-Israel groups and supporters of the Palestinian government who seek to delegitimize the Jewish state.
The invitation for Wednesday's event accuses "Zionist militias" of violently expelling Palestinians from the region when Israel was created in 1948 and maintains that Israel continues to brutalize Palestinians.

"The event is Tlaib's latest effort to give a mainstream platform to organizations long shunned by the majority of lawmakers on both sides of the aisle."
Why can Israel reach so deeply into our society as to control our legislature to their own benefit? How did this happen, and how can we put a stop to it?
We must stop making decisions that harm ourselves and benefit others. America first!
Look at that nice list of organizations in the article for you to support, dear Hupainter Peacock1045. They’ll give you the affirmation you crave. Several other articles contain more suggestions along those lines, though the company you’d have to keep may offend your amour propre.

Hard pressed to understand how the creation of a nation that has been a long-standing ally (with glitches at times) can be reason to hold an event described as "mourning". More importantly, her so doing does not make the event "congressional" merely obnoxious, toxic and overtly anti-Semitic, but she is Hamas though and through. Where, oh where, is the SPLC on covering this?

I recommend starting the event with a reading from the book of Joshua.

Rashida (means "Righteous"} Tlaib (means "Seeker") in Arabic. Hamas means "Zeal" which is the name of a Palestinian Islamic fundamentalist movement engaged in grass-roots organizing and armed resistance and terrorism against Israel.
The Democrats and Biden stand with Hamas.

Rep Rawhide's anti-Semitism raises its ugly head once again.
[ZeroHedge] An alleged Israeli whistleblower who is an expert on energy security has gone missing in Cyprus after claiming in a tweet that the Biden administration was out to “bury” him.
In February, Dr. Gal Luft, the founder and executive director of the Washington-based Institute for the Analysis of Global Security (IAGS), was preparing to reveal damning information about the Biden family’s international business exploits to Congress when the Biden Department of Justice had him arrested on weapon trafficking charges.
Luft reportedly told the FBI in 2019 that the Bidens informed a Chinese energy executive that he was the target of a federal investigation, allowing him to flee the country before he could be arrested.
According to Luft’s lawyer, the Justice Department is retaliating against his client “with trumped-up and false charges.”
Luft was arrested at the Larnaca International airport on February 16, after Interpol issued an arrest warrant against him on suspicion of arms trafficking to China and Libya. According to the Cyprus Mail, the whistleblower was boarding a plane for Israel when local authorities arrested him. Luft was also accused of lying to the FBI and violating the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA), according to his arrest warrant. He’s facing up to 96 years in prison if convicted of the charges.
Luft, a former lieutenant colonel in the Israel Defense Forces, confirmed his arrest in a tweet two days later.
“I’ve been arrested in Cyprus on a politically motivated extradition request by the U.S.,” he wrote on February 18. “The US, claiming I’m an arms dealer. It would be funny if it weren’t tragic. I’ve never been an arms dealer,” Luft continued. “DOJ is trying to bury me to protect Joe, Jim & Hunter Biden,” the 56-year-old added, threatening to “name names.”
[FoxBusinessNews] The DOT said its rulemaking attempts are aimed at better protecting airline passengers from experiencing financial losses during delays and cancellations.
The Department of Transportation announced Monday its plans for a new rulemaking process requiring airlines to compensate passengers whose flights were delayed or canceled.
The proposal would require airlines to provide compensation and cover expenses for amenities, including meals, hotels and rebooking flights, when airlines are deemed responsible for stranding passengers at an airport, the news release stated.
The DOT said it has worked to improve passengers' travel experiences for the past two years, adding that the ten largest airlines now guarantee meals and free rebooking on the same airline, and nine guarantee hotel accommodations as part of the Department’s Airline Customer Service Dashboard.
The department's dashboard at FlightRights.Gov was expanded Monday to show passengers which airlines offer cash compensation, provide travel credits or vouchers, or award frequent flyer miles when flight delays or cancellations are caused by the airline.
The exact definition of a controllable cancellation or delay has not yet been provided by the DOT.
The department's rulemaking attempts are aimed at ensuring passengers experiencing controllable delays and cancellations are better protected from financial losses, according to the news release, adding that it believes the new guidelines could improve on-time performance.
Similar policies requiring additional compensation for passengers already exist in Canada and the European Union, according to the DOT, which also cited a study that found compensation for inconvenience has led to decreased flight delays in the EU.
Last year, Buttigieg penned a letter to airlines urging them to improve their customer service plans before the release of the Airline Customer Service Dashboard.
Before his letter, none of the 10 largest U.S. airlines guaranteed meals or hotels when the airline caused a delay or cancellation. Now, all 10 guarantee meals while nine guarantee hotel accommodations when an airline is at fault for stranding passengers.
Other moves made in the past two years include issuing the largest fines in the history of the department's Office of Aviation Consumer Protection to help hundreds of thousands of passengers receive millions of dollars in compensation.
The DOT has also proposed a rule to refund passengers when services they paid for are not actually provided, such as broken Wi-Fi.

Back on the old old days of air travel, the Civil Aeronautics Board had a rule. If you had in your hand a issued ticket and the flight was canceled, the airline has to put you on the next available carrier going to the destination. Not just their aircraft, but any competitor's aircraft. Now some would try to weasel out of that, but all you had to do was ask directions to the CAB office at the airport and they'd trip over themselves to avoid that from happening.
Sorry, Pete, those days are past. You ain't going to get anything from Congress on this one. Congresscritters enjoy 'bump' privileges on their flights.

When you can take a private flight to Europe to pick up some baby formula, get some celebrity photo ops, and hit the gay Ibiza on the way home, transportation is hospitality.
