Trump judge faces online backlash after smiling, posing for cameras in courtroom: 'Partisan Democrat clown'
[FOX] The New York judge presiding over the civil fraud trial of former President Donald Trump was blasted on social media on Monday after cameras caught him smiling for the cameras as the trial got underway.

Conservatives on social media immediately reacted with outrage on Monday when New York City Judge Arthur Engoron was briefly shown in the courtroom smiling and taking off his glasses to seemingly pose for cameras that were filming inside the courtroom.

"This New York City judge is a partisan Democrat clown," Article III Project founder and president Mike Davis posted on X, formerly Twitter. "Disgraceful."

"Just smiling and laughing as they turn our country into a third world banana republic," State Freedom Caucus Network Comms Director Greg Price posted on X.

"Democracy disappearing right before our eyes...," Trump adviser Stephen Miller wrote in response to Price’s post.

"The Democrat Party’s kangaroo court is in session," Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., posted.

#1  Eventually, the Supreme Court will have to step in or every Poli Ian leaving office will end up in jail. That is probably appropriate in 90% of the cases, but that can’t be the system.

#2  He is doing exactly what they want him to do. Trump will be found guilty of a minor crime that will get reversed on appeal. They dont care if it sticks, this is a war for the media headlines, a slander campaign, and a war of attrition. There is no retribution for Trump when he wins, just like the impeachments he will win but the media brainwashing is complete and people will forever hate the man. We need to have accountability in the judicial system. This DA who ran on an I hate Trump platform needs to go to jail for using the legal system for political purposes.

#3  The people don't hate the man, the media and Washington DC hate him. I hate them all and hope I live long enough to see them all hang or get the Vlad treatment.

#5  I watched an interview with this "judge". He talked about how he vacated jury decisions because he didn't like the results. He also said he balances his emotions against the law when making decisions. He openly stated Trump is very bad and must be punished. He should be disbarred.

#9  ^#7. Someone once said libs don't know (as in accept) any limits. As there are no limits for them, 'tis easy to project that there are no limits at all (see "Existence precedes essence"). Explains the frustration they get when reality reminds them of its limits.

GOP lawmakers float Trump for House speaker after McCarthy's ousting

#1  Although it is legal, I don’t think a Trump speakership would last long under the current House rules. He has enough on his plate anyway. What is needed is someone who is able to work strategically to achieve a goal. Gaetz proved to be a better tactician than McCarthy, but what is needed is a person who won’t get rolled like McCarthy did on the debt ceiling.

#2  Problem is determining who can face down the Deep State and still survive.
Posted by: AlanC || 10/04/2023 9:53 Comments || Top||

#3  Part of the issue is the high number of House Republicans who support the Deep State.
Posted by: Super Hose || 10/04/2023 11:40 Comments || Top||

#4  Alan and super Hose have it right. The tide is turning and the deep state is going to strike back. Kicking Pelosi out of her office was a good strike, but she will retaliate. The GOP needs to understand in this next election there will be no quarter, the FBI will be involved, the media will be in rare form, and the cheating will be out of control. This is all great theater, the Deep state will burn down this nation before they allow control to be lost. If we dont get hit with another infectious disease, I would expect attacks on the grid and other infrastructure. Lots of false flag events and cheating at a new level. I have not forgotten that my vote for president did not count, due to cheating, Most of America is in a lull and in disbelief. I just cant see a happy ending in all this...

#6  We edge ever closer to the Box Three solution becoming reality, and the sad reality that presents.

Tucker and VDH had an engrossing conversation, in which it became apparent that we, the collective we that constitutes this readership, own some of the guilt for what is coming. Like most here, my focus and awareness was outside the wire, when the 5th column was in the mess hall, laundry and schoolhouse. I am reminded of the HUAC Hearings and the Senator McCarthy moment in the Senate-Army hearings, as the moment vigilance against the Marxist menace became unpopular and the sepsis began. Despite his personal failings, McCarthy was actually focused on the right threats, he just was a deeply flawed point-man!

"Clean-Up on Aisle 2024" is going to need a lot more than just mops.

Nor can I.

We've still got well over a year of this witless POS and his D.C. communist cohorts to deal with.

What? McCarthy wasn't rolled. Don't be naive. He's been making side deals all along. McCarthy is and always has been a snake.

#10  McCarthy's televised press conference Horatio Alger, (me, me, me) good bye story was gag worthy.

No pledge to provide a smooth transition for the new guy or gal. No commitment to work toward a unified party.

Typical bitterender all the way.

#11  Prophecy.2
I know from my prophetic thinking that Trump would become president again without an election and would enter the presidency in an unusual manner.
What it does mean is; that when Biden and Harris are impeached, Trump becomes President
This is very possible especially considering the clues includes Trump gives out. Why did he say that Biden would be out in 5 months or less than 5 months? Wouldn't that land an inauguration on March 4th?
Isn't that when presidents were initially inaugurated?
As I keep saying, things are not as they appear

Nancy Pelosi evicted from her private office in the Capitol by interim House speaker
[FoxNews] McHenry assumed the temporary speakership after now-former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was ousted on Tuesday

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., was evicted from her private Capitol office by the new speaker pro-tempore.

Fox News Digital confirmed that House Speaker pro-tempore Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., gave the order to Pelosi to vacate her Capitol hideaway by Wednesday.

McHenry is a close ally to now-former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., who was ousted from his role on Tuesday.

McHenry's eviction order was one of the congressman's first acts as the top House lawmaker.

Pelosi was notified of the eviction, first reported by Politico, in an email.

The email said the former speaker's hideaway was being reassigned "for speaker office use."

"Please vacate the space tomorrow, the room will be re-keyed," the email read.

Pelosi moved out of her hideaway on Tuesday, with help from the staff of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., according to a spokesperson for the former speaker.

Capitol hideaways are a mainstay in the Senate, but are a luxury only afforded to a select few House members.

Pelosi's eviction comes after McCarthy was ousted by his seat in a motion to vacate.

Eight House Republicans led by Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida voted with the entirety of the House Democrats to remove McCarthy from the speakership. Pelosi did not vote because since she was in California after accompanying the late Senator Feinstein's remains for burial.

#1  Sort of begs the question. Why didn't McCarthy take this action upon his appointment as speaker ?

#4  Weird that McCarthy’s buddy would make this action the hallmark of his speakership. It seems akin to straightening the Dorito rack after the BLM crowd has ransacked your minimart. Can’t say that I am sympathetic to Pelosi.
Posted by: Super Hose || 10/04/2023 8:30 Comments || Top||

#5  Not familiar with McHenry but comes from a solid R district. Considering this list is submitted upon taking the office, it could be that McCarthy thought he could boost his conservative bona fides on the cheap by having him at top of the list. It's a good start.

#7  mt greene has proposed trump to be speaker. thats interesting! can a non-member be speaker?
Posted by: irish rage boy || 10/04/2023 10:23 Comments || Top||

#8  Anyone can be speaker providing they have the votes.

Even Volodya.
Posted by: badanov || 10/04/2023 11:34 Comments || Top||

#9  A non-member can be speaker. Trump would need virtually all the House GOP caucus to be installed into the job he doesn’t want. He would then be subject to a motion to vacate by a single member. I am not sure whether any prominent House GOP leader would want the job. It looks as if passing a continuing resolution instead of a budget gets you removed unless the Dems support you staying. A bunch of Dem votes are a kiss of death to your political future.
