[SK] Jennifer Aniston hasn’t always been so outspoken when it comes to hot topics, but lately, she’s taking on the antiquated views of women and aging with aplomb. The 53-year-old actress wants to remind everyone that growing older happens to everyone (if you get that wonderful privilege to live a long life), and we need to embrace the beauty of it instead of demonizing it.
In an interview with E! News, she comes right out and states the facts, "Universally, we’re all going to grow up and get old. You can’t deny that, that is a guarantee." Aniston is right, there is no magic wand that is going to allow us to chronologically age backward, but we can "be vital and we can be thriving in our older years." She wants to toss out any offensive notions that the older generation doesn’t have anything to offer.
I'm not picking on Ms. Aniston here, just using the opportunity to scratch my own brow.
Sure seems like, for a profession of people who pride themselves on influencing or even broaching topics, they sure ended up late in life and disappointed, despite the lifestyles of the rich and famous.
I cannot for the life of me point at one and say, that person had a full life, married well, and is enjoying grandmother/fatherhood to its fullest, and I can tell from the latest movie.

I have a near-topic ponder.
I guess there is a show coming out set in Norse history. Except, and its a twist!, one of the kings is going to be acted by a black gal.
In all seriousness, how does this attract more viewers? Is its intention to attract viewers or is it some fart joke history buffs just don't get, since it is akin to casting Aniston here as Chaka (Zulu)?

Helen Mirren (new Mironov) has had a wonderful life and is enjoying her advanced years in style and with grace. A magnificent actress as well -- unlike this faded bit player from the semi-comic small screen

Helen Mirren was really hot even late in her career, but a total moonbat all the same. Aniston's self-focus at least has kept her from saying much stupid political stuff. I really don't think she's hard to look at.

I bet you can still find syndicated reruns of Friends somewhere on your TV. Actually I could never watch that show. She was very, very pretty when the show was being made but the minute her character started talking I always had to change the channel. It's true that after Friends she never gained much traction as an actress but she still looks pretty good for fifty-something. She gets paid royalties from those reruns and she's worth $millions$. I wouldn't waste any time worrying about her.

I never watched Friends, so I have no idea what she sounds like, but she's got a great bod, has a great trainer, and seems to have a level head.
[HOT AIR] California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing announced a lawsuit this week aimed at Tesla’s Fremont car factory. The claims about the treatment of black employees in the lawsuit are pretty dramatic:
Obviously I don’t know if these claims are accurate but what’s being described is certainly repulsive behavior. And because Tesla has no PR department, there really no one to speak for the company except Elon Musk. Speaking of PR, the day before the lawsuit was filed, Tesla posted a statement on its website offering a pre-buttal to some of the allegations.

[BBC] With costs of living increasing, a ’boomerang’ period of moving back in with parents could be the norm, not the exception, for people in their 20s and 30s.
In early March 2020, Sheridan Block, 30, had just finished a year abroad in Marseilles, France, as a volunteer English teacher to refugees. She flew home to Jacksonville, Florida, to spend time with her maternal grandparents — her grandfather was recovering from health issues at the time. Her plan was to stay a few months to help care for them while also saving money, paying off some student debt and credit card bills before returning abroad.
Then, the pandemic hit. "It was kind of a spiral," says Block.
In exchange for living rent-free, she helped drive her grandparents to appointments, ran errands, cooked and did chores around the house. She ended up staying nearly two years. "I was able to save enough money to pay off all those debts that I had, to finance a car and then ultimately to move out," she explains. It was beneficial financially, she says, and good to be close to family, but it required her to adjust her ideas of what adulthood should look like.
Block is among a growing group of ’boomerang kids’ — adult children who return to their parents or grandparents’ homes after moving out. This group of adults is on the rise — and not just because of the pandemic. In July 2020, 52% of young adults in the US resided with one or both of their parents, according to a Pew Research Center analysis — the highest percentage the United States has seen since the end of the Great Depression, in 1940. In the UK, the proportion of single, child-free 20-to-34-year-olds living with their parents went up 55% between 2008 to 2017, according to research from Loughborough University.
In Western cultures particularly, moving away from home has traditionally been considered a crucial step in becoming an independent adult. But as the number of boomerang kids continues to rise in countries such as the US, UK and Canada, this may be set to change — and with it, our notion of what the stages of adult independence look like.

I believe most parents who have the means, would welcome the opportunity to help during these difficult times.

Nothing unusual for kids to get a false start and quickly get slapped in the face with the real world, with JOBS cuts and layoffs during certain Political cycles.

This simply sounds mature to me. Nothing wrong with volunteering to teach refugees English; I'd like to find some reason to go to Marseilles myself! But it sounds like she did the right thing for exactly the right reasons.
[American Thinker] A new federal terror advisory contains a threat assessment that characterizes Americans who "mislead" others into questioning government-approved messages as being on par with terrorists. That is as anti-American messaging as could be imagined. America was founded on questioning governments, foreign and domestic. And that has been her saving grace, the reason for her unique success.
The assessment specifically identifies those who engage in "the proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions" as "threat actors." It also cites "widespread online proliferation of false or misleading narratives regarding unsubstantiated widespread election fraud and COVID-19" as having a deleterious effect on government institutions.
Actually, it’s the actions of government institutions that often have a deleterious effect on (people’s views of) government institutions...and on the people. But, no matter, our First Amendment rights are out the window. 1984 is here. "Wrong-thought" has been criminalized.
If not stopped—and reversed-- this is the end of the Great Experiment and the Land of Opportunity.
So, fellow threat actors, what are we to do about this?
First off, we must realize that "misinformation" is what has typically been put out by governments since governments were instituted among men. The larger and more powerful the government in relation to the people, the more preposterous the misinformation, false narratives, outright lies and other propaganda it will churn out. And the less it will tolerate dissent and independent thought. This is a historical fact. It was true of feudal kings. Offend the king and it could be "off with your head." The Third Reich blamed all Germany’s troubles on the Jews. So it imprisoned and exterminated them. The Soviet Union killed millions of folks who didn’t toe the party line. Speak out against the government? Hello "re-education" camp or gulag. And today we have Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, Syria, Sudan, Eritrea, North Korea...and, of course, China. (How’s your "social credit score?" You might be about to find out.) China graciously exported the pandemic to the West, and it now appears many Western nations may be attempting to appropriate its system of government, as well. Talk about forgiveness and tolerance. Amazing. The governments of Australia, New Zealand, Austria, several other European nations, and even Canada and the United States have quickly and zealously headed down the road to tyranny.
Leftists in the U.S. are attacking the First and Second Amendments (among others). These are the essence and guarantor of our freedoms, respectively. They are marginalizing, canceling, and even incarcerating those who have the effrontery to challenge their narrative. Meaning their power. That is tyranny. That is terrorism. They are "threat actors." And they do this while accusing Trump supporters, Christians, patriots, rednecks, Rogan listeners, Republicans, rural residents, truck drivers—and anyone else with whom they disagree-- of being a "threat to our democracy."

The insurrection culminated on Nov. 3rd. It was planned and ongoing for more than 4 years.
The liberals understand that. We have some liberal Dem friends in the neighborhood who actually said they supported the coup.
[Washington Examiner] The last time inflation was as bad as it is now, President Ronald Reagan was only finishing his first year in office.
Leonid Brezhnev was still alive and in charge of the Soviet Union. U2 was unknown in the United States, not yet having released the album War. The young company Apple was still two years away from launching its first Macintosh computer model.
That's how far back you have to go — February 1982 — to find a time when inflation was as bad as it was last month. It is now official that this is the worst inflation in 40 years. At 7.5%, prices are rising so quickly that they will double in less than 10 years if this rate of inflation continues.
Of course, Reagan inherited an inflation problem back in his own day. President Joe Biden, on the other hand, created his own inflation problem with the reckless spending that began his administration. With so many trillions already shoveled out the door in the form of COVID relief, Biden just couldn't resist the temptation to play Santa Claus himself. Inflation was the predictable result, and indeed one we predicted, due to a surge in deficit spending and the slowdown in production that occurred because of COVID-19.
Biden has spent the last few months attempting to compound his mistake further, spending another $5 trillion on his completely unnecessary Build Back Better boondoggle. Even now, knowing that inflation rose to 7.5% in January, Biden's White House is still calling on Congress to pass that bill, claiming, in contravention of all laws of economics, that it will make the problem better and not worse. Really? Is someone making use of all those crack pipes whose distribution to addicts Biden's Department of Health and Human Services just abruptly canceled?
[Free Beacon] More than a dozen Republican senators introduced a measure Thursday that would ban a pandemic relief program from funding the distribution of crack pipes and other drug paraphernalia.
The Cutting off Rampant Access to Crack Kits (CRACK) Act, introduced by Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.), would amend the Democrats' American Rescue Plan, which allocates $30 million for a program that funds the distribution of crack "smoking kits." The amendment comes in response to a Washington Free Beacon report Monday that detailed how the Biden administration will fund smoking kits intended to limit the spread of disease among users of drugs such as crack cocaine and crystal methamphetamine. The money would fund local government programs such as ones already established in cities across the country. Programs in Annapolis, Md., New Haven, Conn., San Francisco, and Seattle, all included smoking pipes in kits.
"It is pure insanity to think the federal government would fund crack pipe distribution," Rubio said. "This legislation will make certain the program can never pay for crack pipes."
The Department of Health and Human Services, which oversees the "harm reduction" grant program, defended funding smoking kits, saying "unsafe smoking practices can lead to open sores, burns and cuts on the lips, and can increase the risk of infection among people who smoke drugs."
HHS secretary Xavier Becerra announced Wednesday, however, that "no federal funding will be used directly or through subsequent reimbursement of grantees to put pipes in safe smoking kits." Aside from pipes, smoking kits often include mouthpieces, rubber bands, and alcohol wipes.

Crack paraphernalia is o.k., but the Feds can't/won't decide on marijuana decriminalization/legalization. Makes sense.
Crack and Chinese chemical produced fentanyl eventually leads to an early grave. Early graves assist the US Government re-population effort, reduces Social Security benefit population. Also opens parking spots at Walmart and Target form 'Made in China' box store goers.
[PJ] We all know the toll that inflation is taking on our everyday lives. We can see it at the gas pump, at the grocery store, and just about everywhere else we spend money.
Inflation has hit 7.5%, and we’ve just seen the largest one-month increase since 1982.
"Shortages of supplies and workers, heavy doses of federal aid, ultra-low interest rates and robust consumer spending combined to send inflation leaping in the past year," the Associated Press explains. "And there are few signs that it will slow significantly anytime soon."
And we now know just what kind of impact this level of inflation is making on American households. Ryan Sweet of Moody’s Analytics has estimated that the average U.S. household is paying $276 per month more than it did before inflation soared so high.
Sweet calculated what households pay for goods now compared to what they paid when inflation was at 2.1% in 2018 and 2019.
"It really hammers home the point of ’what is the cost of inflation?’" said Sweet.
Bear in mind that this figure is an average. Families who have spent more money on products whose prices have increased more than 7.5% are taking a bigger hit. The Wall Street Journal gives the example of washing machine prices, which have risen 12.1% over 2021.
Wells Fargo and the U.S. Department of Labor measured the price increase of various categories of goods over the past year. (This study was released at the end of January, so it reflects a Consumer Price Index increase of 7% as opposed to 7.5%.)

On an average month, we Gas up 4 to 5 times. Plus we purchase Food and other common items each month for a total of about $1,150 to $1,250.
(ammo costs not included ☺)
Using my own EWAG adjustment, I would feel comfortable in saying we are easily in the MID to HIGH $300 per month for the 2021-2022 Biden tenure.
Or about $3,600 to $4,500 ++ more per year.
Come to think of it...
Doesn't that wipe out all of the 2020-2021 Biden C-19 Stimulus Checks and more, since these higher prices will be here to stay for years?

My gas and electric bill by itself has gone up over $100.

Stupid fvcks. Fracking + lower gas prices alone SAVED ordinary Americans THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS PER YEAR per household. Magoo and his gerbil worming idiots destroyed these savings, made Russia flush with oil revenues and put us on the back foot worldwide.
It's getting harder and harder to believe this colossal destruction of our wealth and independence was not deliberate.
[Breitbart] The Department of Defense’s National Defense University (NDU), the premier education institution for military and defense civilian leaders, is planning to host a lecture on how Western countries should adopt socialism in response to the challenge from China.
The lecture, which is scheduled to take place online February 16, is titled, "Responding to China: The Case For Global Justice and Democratic Socialism," and will be given by French economist Thomas Piketty, who is the author of a 2021 book titled Time for Socialism.
A summary of the event, posted on the university’s website, reads:
Western countries are still struggling to define their attitude towards the Beijing regime. In this talk on February 22, 2022, Thomas Piketty will argue that the right answer lies in ending Western arrogance and promoting a new emancipatory and egalitarian horizon on a global scale, a new form of democratic and participatory, ecological and post-colonial socialism. If they stick to their usual lecturing posture and a dated hyper-capitalist model, Western countries may find it extremely difficult to meet the Chinese challenge.
The notice for the event includes a bio for Piketty that lists two of his books, Capital in the 21st Century (2013) and Capital and Ideology (2020), but does not mention his most recent Time for Socialism book.
The lecture is part of the university’s Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) Speaker Series, which has hosted lectures focused on China over the past year.
Sebastian Gorka, who served as an associate dean at the NDU for five years, highlighted the lecture on his show "AMERICA First with Sebastian Gorka" on Friday. "NDU is where colonels go to become generals," Gorka said.
"This event is presented by the Pentagon’s Strategic Multilayer Assessment program in collaboration with National Defense University’s Eisenhower School of National Security. Eisenhower’s name. His institution is being used to host an event promoting socialism in America," Gorka said, adding that American taxpayers are paying for the event. "I’m not even disgusted — that’s not even a strong enough word. I’m horrified."

WTF? In the dark ages I did the NDU Course on National Security and found it rock-solid and focused for the era. We were housed at the Mayflower Hotel and during a weekend jaunt down the street to get McDonalds from the Metro Station, I returned to the front door after a sudden Secret Service cordon and watched Bill Clinton arrive for a party for WH Interns held in the Ballroom. Apparently it was the night he discovered Monica...
[AlAhram] Protesters angry over pandemic restrictions drove toward Paris in scattered convoys of camper vans, cars and trucks Friday in an effort to blockade the French capital, despite a police ban.
[Rudaw] When Barzan awoke to the sound of screams in the early hours of the morning of August 3, 2014, the 13-year-old ran to feed his doves for a final time before fleeing his home, never to return. As Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS) turbans attacked Shingal, he was captured along with around 6,000 members of his Yazidi community, whereupon he was taken into captivity and forced to fight for the so-called caliphate for the remainder of his blighted childhood.
Vian, also a young boy at his time of capture, became a close friend when they met in captivity. Together, the two supported each other through horrific training, frontline military conflict as ISIS child soldiers and, four years later, their escape in 2018 with the help of smugglers.
"We were forced to do everything they said," Vian recounts in a short documentary film released on Friday by Amnesia Amnesty International and Fat Rat Films, depicting the unbreakable brotherhood that developed between Vian and Barzan, who survived their horrific captivity under ISIS and now, like other Yazidi survivors, deserve reparations and support to help rebuild their lives.
In one particularly moving scene, the two can be seen comforting each other about the separation from their families - and the pain of missing their deceased mothers, sisters, and fathers, killed by ISIS turbans in their ethno-religious genocide. Between 2014 and 2017, ISIS committed war crimes, crimes against humanity, and what the UN has called a genocide against the Yazidi community.
Over seven years since ISIS launched their brutal attack, the young men now live in a camp in the Kurdistan Region where the documentary was filmed last year, and where their future is unclear. Support is lacking and they - like so many others - say they struggle to see a future in Iraq.
Speaking in a panel discussion to accompany the launch of the film, Vian and Barzan said they feel they have no rights in Iraq, and had not heard of the 2021 Survivors Law, intended to support ISIS survivors in Iraq.
Sherri Kraham Talabany, president of the Kurdistan Region’s SEED Foundation, urged the Iraqi government to urgently implement the Yazidi Survivors Law, telling the panel that, "Former child soldiers, some of whom are now adults, remain critically underserved."
"Children are still returning [from captivity]... this is very much an ongoing issue," she said, adding that SEED has worked with children who had been separated from their mothers by ISIS when they were as young as three and four-years old.
Sareta Ashraph, an international criminal barrister focused on ISIS crimes against the Yazidis and whose work culminated in the UN's decision of genocide, also shared her thoughts on the documentary.
ISIS’ targeting of young boys for recruitment and forcibly killing their male relatives was a particularly cruel experience, she stressed. Those over the age of seven years were removed entirely from their families, Ashraph said, meaning that they were not only new recruits to the so-called caliphate, but also the victims of an erasure and an attack on their Yazidi identity.
Many were forced to convert to Islam. "Outwardly we were acting like them [ISIS], inside though we were holding on to our religion," Vian says in the film.
Mirza Dinnayi, from Air Bridge Iraq, described in the panel how ISIS systematically indoctrinated young boys; around 1,000 of whom have been released, he said, and at least 1,000 currently remain in captivity.
To date, 3,000 of the kidnapped remain unaccounted for.
Often when we think of this figure, we think of enslaved women - but a large proportion are former Yazidi child soldiers.
Statistics provided by the Yazidi Rescue Office, approved by the United Nations ...the Oyster Bay money pit... , estimate that the number of people left in the hands of ISIS is 2,763: 1,293 women and 1,470 men; many of whom were children at the time of capture.
"Former child soldiers are routinely stigmatized, which means their harrowing experiences are frequently kept in the shadows," Nicolette Waldman, Researcher on Children and Armed Conflict on Amnesty’s Crisis Response team said. "By bravely sharing their own stories so openly, Vian and Barzan have helped shine a light on the struggles that remain for Yazidi former child soldiers today."
"The Iraqi authorities, their international partners, and the United Nations must ensure that Yazidi former child soldiers have full access to the reparations and assistance to which they are entitled under Iraq’s Yazidi Survivors Law (2021)," she added.
Funded by the Iraqi government, the estimated cost of implementing the law remains unclear but, Waldman told Rudaw English, it is entirely achievable. The beneficiaries of the law are in the thousands, rather than tens of thousands.
"They must also work together to establish a National Action Plan mandating that all current and former child soldiers in Iraq, including Yazidi boys and young men, are reintegrated into society and provided with coordinated, specialized and long-term support." Waldman said.

"Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers. Each one shall be put to death for his own sin."
[DW] Muskan Khan, a college student in Karnataka state, told DW that she is not afraid of the Hindu right-wing activists who want to enforce a veil ban in educational institutes. The row has now spread across the country.
Huge protests have erupted across Karnataka state following the government's decision to ban hijabs, or headscarves, in schools and colleges.
After six students were banned from entering a college in Karnataka's coastal Udupi district for wearing hijabs on January 1, the debate over the rights of Moslem women, pluralism and secularism has gripped the entire country.
Amid escalating communal tensions and sporadic violence, authorities have closed all high schools and colleges in the southern state for three days.
The Karnataka state is governed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which many Moslems accuse of deviating from the country's secular ideology.
The state's High Court is hearing two petitions on the issue and will decide whether to keep the ban or discard it. One of the petitions argues that it is a citizen's fundamental right to choose the attire, and that is guaranteed by the country's constitution.
The other petition challenges the legality of the government's decision to enforce a dress code in educational institutes.
School uniforms are an inheritance from Britain, which is why fancy private schools in America have them, too. The whole point is to dictate what the students wear.
DW contacted several ruling party officials, who said they didn't want to comment as the matter is now in court.
The hijab row, however, was echoed in the national Parliament, with opposition parties staging a walkout.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, who is a politician from Karnataka, told news hounds that "all students must follow the dress code prescribed by schools and their administration."
AN UNLIKELY 'HERO'
The issue became more prominent when a video of a college student became viral on social media. It showed Muskan Khan, a second-year student of Mandya College, being heckled by Hindu right-wing activists. They were purportedly supporting the dress code in the college. Khan, a Moslem girl clad in a burqa (face veil), confronted them and shouted "Allah Akbar" (God is great in Arabic). She refused to remove her veil.
Not secular on the Muslim side, then, but the soft jihad of the law.
Khan is now being hailed by many Indian Moslems as a "hero" who stood for the rights of minorities.
Not minorities in general, though. Just soft-jihading Moslems who probably, when investigated, will turn out to have connections to others involved with the hard jihad of the sword.
"They were not allowing me to enter college because I was wearing the burqa. They started shouting Jai Shri Rama (Hail Lord Rama), so I started yelling Allah Akbar," Muskan told DW over the phone from Mandya.
"All I want to do is study, and these people are stopping us. But I am not afraid," she added.
'OBJECTIFICATION OF WOMEN'
Supporters of the ban argue that it is the right of college authorities to decide what kind of attire the students are allowed to wear. But many Moslems, and India's secular sections, counter it by saying that it is every individual's basic right to exercise religious beliefs.
"The hijab is a part of cultural and religious identity of the Moslem women. It is like mangal sutra (necklace) for Hindus, the cross for Christians, and turbans for Sikhs," T N Prathapan, a politician from the opposition Congress party, told DW.
Prathapan said the constitutional rights of all citizens must be protected.
Meanwhile, ...back at the hanging, Butch continued with his last words, trying not to repeat himself too often...... Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai ...a Pashtun blogger and advocate for girls' education from Mingora, in Swat. She is esteemed as an ambassador of international good will, even though she can't go home lest some fellow in a turban shoots her in the head again... called on Indian authorities to take measures to "stop the marginalization of Moslem women."
"Refusing to let girls go to school in their hijabs is horrifying. The objectification of women persists, for wearing less or more," Yousafzai tweeted.
A bold choice for a young woman who was shot in the head for not being a proper Moslem maiden.
POLITICAL MILEAGE
Some experts say the BJP is deliberately igniting the issue for political gains.
"What to eat and what to wear is a fundamental right. The BJP is trying to impose its choices on people. This is nothing but majoritarian politics at play," Nawab Malik of the Nationalist Congress Party told DW.
Activists say attacks on Moslems, who number about 200 million of India's 1.4 billion population, have increased since Modi took power in 2014.
Communal tensions are also on the rise in Karnataka, a state ruled by the BJP. According to the Karnataka Communal Harmony Forum, the state's coastal districts witnessed over 120 communal incidents last year, the highest number in the last four years.
A recent report by the joint initiative of the United Christians Forum, the Association for Protection of Civil Rights and United Against Hate revealed that at least 305 incidents of violence against Christians took place nationwide in the first nine months of 2021. This includes at least 32 incidents in Karnataka alone.
Cynthia Stephen, a social policy researcher in Karnataka, said the BJP "could have nipped the issue in the bud" much earlier.
Kavita Krishnan, of the All India Women's Progressive Association, told DW that the headscarf issue could easily be used as a justification for mob attacks on Moslems.
"Hijab is only the latest pretext to target Moslem women. It came after Hindu supremacists held multiple online auctions of Moslem women and made speeches calling for their sexual and reproductive enslavement," Krishnan said.

So now, when Putin doesn't invade, Biden can take credit for preventing war.
Of course, following the leaked war plan to a tee and still winning. That's like the Babe calling that home run.
If Putin does invade, it won't be for territory. It will be for the effect it will have on Europe and the USA. Conventional wisdom says invasion will unify the West against him. I'm not so sure that is true. I think it will tear it asunder.
Both as a coalition and within individual nations. While China looks on...

^ Good moves. But I can't figure out how to short Biden's approval ratings.
Speaking of which, would any of this be happening if Biden's approval ratings were better?

Wag the Dog is being tested for Slow Joe. That’s why all the saber rattling. The solution is easy but would cost the Biden’s personally which is why it’s unlikely. Russia gets guarantees on a 10 year moratorium for Ukraine in NATO in exchange for a demilitarized Donbas region. The Russian and Euros have 10 years to jointly investigate and eliminate the corruption in Ukraine. The US can pound sand, and will gladly do so since it’s a Euro problem and the Euros have their solution.
Only problem is the corruption leads straight to Hunter and Joe Biden, and probably some Russian oligarchs as well.

If the endgame would involve extraditing Vindman, Nuland and a few others from the "national security community" to Russia for a quick trial and execution, I could be all for it.

My favorite is this is all over Russia sending pedophiles to Siberia.
And if my Al-lu-minium Chapeau is just right, I can see China directing "Biden" to harass Russia.

[FoxNews] CBP stopped Padron on the way into Mexico Monday.
Federal authorities have arrested an American woman accused of trying to smuggle a shipment of dozens of rifles in trampoline packaging across the border into Mexico earlier this week.
Mayra Alejandra Padron, a 31-year-old from Houston, was arrested Monday at the Hidalgo port of entry – allegedly carrying 44 rifles, a single handgun, a dissembled M249 machine gun and almost 3,000 rounds of ammunition in the back of a gray Chevy pickup truck.
Padron allegedly told Homeland Security Investigations agents that someone paid her $200 to drive the Silverado from Houston to Mexico, that she’d made similar runs in the past and that she intended to open a cross-border shipping business.
Padron has a criminal record dating back to when she was just a kid – with a conviction for failure to identify or giving false information when she was 11 and for assaulting a public servant when she was 12, court documents show.
More recently, police charged her with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in December, a case that is still pending.
The judge ordered her held without bond Tuesday, court documents show, citing her criminal record, flight risk and statements from her prior bondsman that alleged she had not followed her earlier release conditions.
Photos of the seizure show dozens of rifles lined up on a warehouse floor. They include AK-47 and SKS weapons.
Investigators from Homeland Security Investigations, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as well as U.S. Border Patrol and Texas Department of Public Safety took part in the bust.
During the interview, she allegedly gave conflicting statements, according to the criminal complaint. First, she told investigators she bought "merchandise" to bring to her brother in Reynosa, 40 minutes south of the border, then said it was for her brother’s neighbor, "Sergio."
"Later in the interview, Padron stated that an unknown individual went to her house and identified himself by saying that he was there on behalf of ‘Sergio’ to pick up her vehicle and load it with merchandise," the complaint reads. "Padron admitted that she ‘felt something was not right’ because ‘Sergio’ kept on ‘pushing’ her to get the trampolines delivered quickly."
She even allegedly accepted extra pay to leave Houston early – then "admitted that she was going to accept responsibility for what happened," according to the complaint.
[IsraelTimes] Leader of coalition’s Islamist party says he’s focused on bringing people together rather than being judgmental, prefers objective terms to describe ills decried by rights groups.
Ra’am party head Mansour Abbas said Thursday he would not use the word "apartheid" to describe relations between Jews and Arabs within the country.
Amnesia Amnesty International last week joined two other well-known human rights ...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions... groups in saying that Israel’s policies toward the Paleostinians within its borders and in the West Bank and Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... amount= to apartheid. Israel rejects those allegations as antisemitic, saying that, among other things, they ignore the rights and freedoms enjoyed by its Arab citizens.
"I would not call it apartheid," Abbas said in response to a question at an online event organized by the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, a DC-based think tank. He noted that he was in a governing coalition with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and could join the cabinet if he wanted to.
"I prefer to describe the reality in objective ways," he added, according to the English translation of his remarks, which he delivered in Hebrew. "If there is discrimination in a certain field, then we will say that there is discrimination in that specific field."
He did not say whether he thinks the apartheid term applies to the West Bank, where more than 2.5 million Paleostinians live under Israeli military rule alongside nearly 500,000 Jewish settlers with Israeli citizenship. Israel captured the territory from its Jordanian occupiers in the 1967 Mideast war, and the Paleostinians want it to form the main part of their future state.
Abbas’s Islamist Ra’am party made history in June by becoming the first major Arab party to sit in a governing coalition, which includes parties from across the political spectrum.
He has steered the faction toward a more pragmatic approach than Arab parties have traditionally taken, working with the government to secure gains for the Arab community.

[DW] US President Joe The Big Guy Biden signed an executive order unfreezing billions in Afghan funds in US banks. The frozen Afghan central bank assets will be split between humanitarian aid and the victims of the September 11 attacks.
US President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. Old, boring, a plagiarist, fond of hair sniffing and grabbing the protruding parts of women, and not whatcha call brilliant. Just look at the competent way he dumped Afghanistan... signed an executive order on Friday unfreezing $7 billion (€6.15 billion) in assets in the United States belonging to Afghanistan's central bank.
The White House is freeing up the funds for humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and for compensation to the victims of the attacks of September 11, 2001. The latter will remain in the US as lawsuits brought by the September 11 victims make their way through the courts.
Biden's executive order requires US financial institutions to transfer any Afghan central bank assets that they hold into a new consolidated account at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
WHY IS THE US UNFREEZING AFGHAN ASSETS NOW?
Last month, a US judge gave the White House until Friday to draft a plan for how it wished to handle the billions in Afghan assets frozen in the United States.
Members of Congress and the United Nations ...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense... had called on the administration to free up the funds to address Afghanistan's extreme economic crisis.
Ahead of Friday's announcement, one US government source told Rooters news agency that the Afghan funds would be released for "the benefit of the Afghan people and for Afghanistan's future."
WHY WERE THE AFGHAN CENTRAL BANK'S ASSETS FROZEN?
Afghanistan's central bank holdings in the US were frozen in August after the fall of Kabul to the Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... . The Taliban's rapid takeover of Afghanistan came after the chaotic US and NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A cautionary tale of cost-benefit analysis.... withdrawal from the country after nearly 20 years.
Almost 80% of the national budget for Afghanistan prior to the Taliban takeover came from the international community. With that funding absent, the country's economy nosedived.
HOW WILL THE MONEY BE SPENT?
The US government has faced mounting pressure from the international community to free up the funds for humanitarian purposes in a way that does not recognize the Islamic bad boy group.
The funds that will remain in the US will be earmarked for compensation to the victims of the September 11 attacks and their families.
The Taliban asserts the money that belonged to the Afghan government is now theirs as they claim to have taken over responsibility for the government.
In addition to US holdings, Afghanistan also holds an additional $2 billion in reserves. Most of that is held in countries including Germany, Switzerland ...home of the Helvetians, famous for cheese, watches, yodeling, and William Tell... , the UAE and the UK.
The September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks carried out by al-Qaeda killed nearly 3,000 Americans, mostly at the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in northern Virginia near Washington.
The Taliban hosted the terror group and its leader, the late Osama bin Laden ...... who is now beyond all cares and woe...... , at the time of the attacks. The US killed bin Laden in Pakistain in 2011.
#Turkey’s intelligence thwarts a plot orchestrated by #Iran to kill an Israeli-Turkish businessman based in Istanbul, a pro-government daily reports.https://t.co/DRrBlqLKAV
Turkish spies thwarted a plot orchestrated by Iran to kill an Israeli-Turkish businessman based in Istanbul, a pro-government daily reported Friday.
Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) discovered a network of nine operatives dubbed an “Iran assassination team” plotting to kill Yair Geller, the Sabah daily reported.
Geller has businesses in the aviation-defense industry as well as in technology and software, the daily added.
The assassination was supposed to be in retaliation for the killing of top Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in 2020 which Iran blamed on Israel, Sabah claimed.
Turkey at the time condemned Fakhrizadeh’s assassination as an act of “terrorism.”
Sabah’s story comes as Turkey seeks a rapprochement with Israel after Ankara ordered out Israel’s ambassador over the killing of protesters along the Gaza Strip border in 2018.
Istanbul police launched an operation to detain the nine men “a few days ago,” the newspaper said, but the leader of the network is apparently in Iran.
Eight have been arrested on charges including “setting up an organization to commit crime” and “being a member of a group set up to commit crime,” it added.
The men had been watched by MIT agents as they followed Geller at home and at work, collecting information to prepare the assassination, Sabah said.
MIT also met with Israel’s Mossad spy agency in Ankara to inform them of the plot’s next step to kill Geller. He was taken to a “safe house” shortly after, it added.
The newspaper even claimed the plot was an attempt to “derail Turkey-Israel relations” after “positive steps were taken” to improve ties.
There had been high hopes in Ankara that Israeli President Isaac Herzog would pay an official visit to Turkey this month but it is now expected by Turkey to be in March.
Turkey and Iran have historically close economic ties but have found themselves on opposite sides of regional conflicts, including in Syria.
But they both see themselves as the center and natural hegemon of the Muslim Middle East, ruling over those benighted Arabs so clearly incapable of ruling themselves. Naturally, the Aryans and Turks clash. The Times of Israel adds:
The reports say an Iranian spy cell comprised of nine operatives, some Iranian and some Turkish, who were sent to kill Yair Geller, an Israeli-Turkish businessman who lives in Istanbul and owns an engineering company specializing in aerospace technology.
The leader of the cell in Turkey was identified as Iranian Moshtagh Bighouz. A ninth person, the squad’s leader in Iran, was named as Iranian intelligence officer Yasin Taheremamkendi.
The Times of Israel has a cute little organization chart at the link of the assassins — with photos.

Some soldiers in the Nigerian Army have lamented the death of their colleague who was killed by Boko Haram/Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists during a clash with troops of the 149 Task Force Battalion in Gubio, Borno State.
The 149 Task Force Battalion in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force on Thursday killed an unspecified number of insurgents but the soldier also lost his life.
According to the soldiers, the victim, Murtala, was one of the soldiers who ought to have been promoted and redeployed away from the bush but for the politics in the Nigerian Army.
One of the soldiers said, "Murtala, the soldier that was killed by Boko Haram, was one of the soldiers who were taken from depot to the battlefield since 2017 without a unit. By now, he should have been redeployed, at least by 2021, he ought to have left this place.
"Imagine, he had spent 5 years plus in this bush, but the army said that was not enough, that he should remain in the field till he died. This is simply unfair."
Another soldier retorted, “Let Nigerian Army generals come and stay in this bush for one week, I'm not talking about Maiduguri town. After five years in the horrible bush, the army refused to transfer this soldier and also refused to promote him for his hard work.
"Murtala was one of those soldiers the Nigerian Army refused to promote despite being due for a new rank. What the Nigerian Army did was to send fake signals that all North-East soldiers who didn't get promoted should be promoted but till now, nothing has been done about that. I feel so bad about his death. This man is one of coolest soldiers in 149BN Gubio."
There have been allegations of corruption in the Nigerian Army which are said to be responsible for the issue – soldiers overstaying in the North-East.
According to some soldiers, the Nigerian Army is the epitome of deep-seated corruption, affecting the prosecution of the North-East anti-terrorism war.
In January, the Nigerian Army released the names of over 2, 000 soldiers who were to be redeployed and some soldiers alleged that they were not rotated to other areas over their refusal to give bribes.
Speaking with SaharaReporters at the time, some soldiers alleged that there was misconduct in the Nigerian Army as some of the soldiers, who had come at a later time, including those mobilised to the area in 2019, still made the list of overstayed soldiers while some of those who had been mobilised since 2016 could not find their names on the list.
They claimed that some of the commanders refused to submit their names for rotation because of their "refusal to pay money."

U.S. military officials say there could have been more civilian casualties than initially thought in the raid that killed the top Islamic State leader in Syria last week, but they believe any such deaths were caused by the militant's suicide bomb and were not at the hands of American forces.
Laying out a chronology of the raid by special operations forces, officials also said they cannot be certain that Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi detonated the bomb that killed him and his family at his home in the sleepy village of Atmeh near the Turkish border.
But they said it was set off by him or someone else on the third floor of the building where he lived. Previously the Pentagon and President Joe Biden had said al-Qurayshi blew up himself, his wife and two children. The military officials said Thursday they believe the upper floor was rigged to explode and that it's most likely al-Qurayshi did it, not one of his family members.
They also said it's possible that others — perhaps additional wives he had — could have been with him and killed in that blast. They said the blast threw "multiple bodies" from the building and buried them in the rubble, and while they know al-Qurayshi and his family died, they can't rule out the possibility that other bodies were hidden in the collapse and not seen by the troops.
Speaking to a small group of reporters, two senior military officials involved in the planning or execution of the operation provided the most details to date on the Feb. 2 raid, pushing back against claims by residents and activist groups that the U.S. operation killed as many as 13 people, including civilians. They spoke on condition of anonymity as a condition for providing the briefing.
The Biden administration and the Pentagon have come under sharp criticism recently for failing to provide evidence for a number of national security claims, including proof of their efforts to avoid civilian casualties in operations such as the Syria raid and their account of a suicide bombing in Afghanistan in August. Areas in the de-escalation zone in #Syria's northwest witnessed military escalation and mutual shelling between the government and opposition factions. #SNA#Turkeyhttps://t.co/jqiGCX66vB
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Areas in the de-escalation zone in northwest Syria witnessed on Friday military escalation and mutual shelling between the Syrian government forces and the opposition factions in different areas.
The Syrian government forces stationed in the surrounding checkpoints targeted the opposition sites in al-Bara town and Benin village while sites in the villages of Kansafra, Sfuhen, Fleifel were targeted with artillery and missiles, military sources of the Syrian opposition told North Press.
Additionally, the government forces bombarded the opposition factions in the villages and towns of A’ajel, Toqad, and the outskirts of Kafr Ta’al, west of Aleppo.
A similar shelling hit the village of Khirbat al-Naqus west of Hama reporting no casualties, according to the same sources.
In response, al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations’ Room, which includes Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS, formerly al-Nusra Front) and other factions, targeted sites of the Syrian government forces in Jdaria and Mizanaz villages in the western countryside of Aleppo, military sources told North Press.
Over the past two days, areas in the de-escalation zone witnessed military escalation and mutual shelling between the opposition factions and the government forces in different areas coinciding with intensive flight by the Russian drones over the area.
For months, areas in Syria’s northwest have been witnessing mutual shelling between parties to the conflict in different areas amid news on government military reinforcements to different areas in the region.
Although the de-escalation zone in northwest Syria is subject to a Russian-Turkish ceasefire agreement signed in March 2020, the area witnesses frequent mutual bombardment despite the entry of the ceasefire into force.
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, used live bullets to dispers protests in the camps near the town of Atma, north of Idlib.
“Large protests took place between the residents and IDPs of the border town of Atma, after HTS members shot a woman called Fatima Abdulrahman al-Hamid, wounding her in the head while smuggling a container of diesel fuel through the bushes and farmland,” North Press reported eyewitnesses from Atma town.
The protesters raised banners denouncing HTS practices and calling for the overthrow of HTS and its leader, Abu Muhammad al-Julani, according to eyewitnesses.
HTS members arrived in the area and started shooting in order to disperse the protesters, which spread a state of fear and panic among the displaced people in the surrounding tents, they added.
Yesterday evening, HTS stormed two camps near the town of Atma, using live bullets and armored vehicles, in order to expel the residents who gathered in the camp after the killing of a woman and the wounding of others by its members.
As the controller of all aspects of life in northwest Syria, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham continues to restrict the population there
4,000 word essay, excerpted. They think that massive US expense for their protection is normal, and have a smug sense of moral superiority.
[WarOnThe Rocks] Unfortunately, strategic thinking is something that does not come naturally to younger German foreign policymakers. In fact, it is completely alien to us. For three decades, we have been cocooned away from the harsh world of power politics. The exceptional world that we grew up in was our normal. The ideas that developed out of 1989 were our convictions. Now that geopolitics, and specifically geopolitical power politics, is back, we are lost.
I experienced this many times, but it took me a while to realize that German millennials, the oldest of whom were born in the early 1980s, think about foreign policy in a peculiar way. The longer I lived outside Germany, and specifically in countries where geopolitical and strategic thinking is more common, the more I found myself baffled by some of the discussions my peers in Germany had. This was perfectly summarized by a fellow German millennial: "Geopolitics just sounds so much like troop movement!" he declared. This epitomizes in one statement several beliefs and convictions I encounter often among my German peers: a skepticism of geopolitics, an inability to think in terms of power and interest, and a rejection of the military as an instrument of politics. German millennials think of international politics in terms of values and emotions rather than interests. Of course, values and interests are not mutually exclusive and are often linked in a way that makes them difficult to disentangle. But, as Germans, we have learned to reject the interests part of the equation completely. My generation has developed an almost romantic idea of international relations. We see alliances as friendships and disagreements in terms of value differences. And German millennials struggle with the military — specifically the idea that the military is an element of geopolitical power. This is a phenomenon already prevalent among the German population (and strong among the Green Party, which could come into power in Germany after the September elections). But it is even more pronounced among millennials, as a recent poll shows: A higher number of millennials support reducing the German defense budget than any other age group, while support for a budgetary increase is lower among millennials than among all other groups.

[Breitbart] President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) top officials are shaping up a program that would more easily allow young adult border crossers and illegal aliens to live freely in the United States, Breitbart News has learned.
The Biden administration is currently seeking bids for a DHS contract that will ensure border crossers and illegal aliens ages 18 to 19 years old — who officials say “pose a low flight risk” — are hardly monitored by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency after their release into the U.S. interior.
Whereas existing DHS programs have stricter compliance guidelines, the new program would allow border crossers and illegal aliens to be monitored by “community-based services” and would not require participants to be monitored by GPS tracking.
“This program will not include GPS or other monitoring technology,” an ICE release on the program states.
Instead, the program will only require that most border crossers and illegal aliens check in monthly with ICE agents via telephone. The program would also “develop and maintain a network of age-appropriate and culturally sensitive community resources” for border crossers and illegal aliens.
Sources close to Breitbart News said the Biden-linked federal contractor Endeavors is almost certain to score the contract to carry out key provisions of the program. Endeavors won a $530 million contract with DHS last year after hiring a former Biden administration official.
Endeavors is funded by a number of corporate-backed organizations like the Bob Woodruff Foundation, United Way, and the Hispanic Federation — all of which have ties to multinational corporations and the nation’s biggest banks.
The federal contractor also takes taxpayer money through a variety of contracts with the federal government, the state of Texas, and local governments in North Carolina.
The program would be the latest measure initiated by the Biden administration to briefly detain border crossers and illegal aliens before quickly releasing them into the U.S. interior — often by buses or commercial domestic flights.

What's the over-under on some large percentage of these miserable children being caught up in $ex trafficking by our depraved elites -- CNN producers, Biden family members, Congresscritters, Klingons / various & sundry Deep Staters etc?
#3
Aside from being illegal, what's the purpose for bringing these young people into the U.S.? My also thoughts turn dark as is voiced by Merrick Ferret.
#5
Seriously, all the elements of the Epstein-Ghislaine playbook are in place:
1. Find young foreign girls in trouble who are seeking to come to the US
2. Separate them from their parents
3. Promise them a glittering new life in America
4. Take them under your wing and pay for & arrange air transport -- no reservation record, no name, not even a manifest -- and lodge them in a "safe" house in an unknown location controlled by the stranger
5. Keep the above incl the location completely secret: no papers, no notification of kin or even authorities
#7
Slavers. Import thousands of young foreign women and men, and make them entirely dependant on their 'hosts'. Little difference from the old slave ships plying the west coast of Africa - only you don't have pay the chief for the slaves and one here - you don't even have to provide food and housing.
The family of Ladan Ibrahim, a civil servant in Sokoto State, who was arrested for alleged terrorism financing has lamented the delay in the investigation of the case.
According to them, Ibrahim was arrested alongside 44 other people by security operatives for alleged terrorism financing linked to Boko Haram.
He is now reportedly in the custody of the Defence Intelligence Agency in Abuja.
The aggrieved family members, in an interview with Daily Trust, said life had been unbearable for them after Ibrahim's arrest as they stated that he was the only breadwinner, who had been taking care of them and also his relatives.
His family members included four wives and 16 children.
Speaking on behalf of the family members, one of the wives, Habiba Ibrahim Ladan said the level of hardship they were currently experiencing was taking a toll on them.
"I am the fourth wife reaching out on behalf of my co-wives; A’i Ladan Ibrahim, Fatima Ladan Ibrahim, Uwani Ladan Ibrahim, our 16 children and the entire members of his extended families.
"We have and are currently experiencing abject hardship since he left. I and the first wife are not in good health. I go to the hospital every month while she goes every week since his departure.
"Our children have stopped going to school. Even what to eat is a problem for us; he is the head of the family who supports both his immediate and extended family.
"We are really suffering, let him be taken to court, charge him on what they are accusing him of. At least, we know that justice is done to him and to us."
Ladan Ibrahim formally worked with the state’s pilgrims’ welfare board and later with the Ministry for Higher Education in Sokoto State before his arrest.

[Korrespondent] Since the beginning of the current day, separatist units have violated the ceasefire in Donbas three times. One Ukrainian soldier was injured, the press center of the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation reports in an evening summary on Friday, February 11.
So, one of the enemy attacks was carried out near Maryinka. The enemy deployed a drone, which was used to drop a VOG-17 round. VOG-17 is an automatic grenade launcher round
In the direction of Nevelskoye, small arms fire was fired, and in the direction of Peski, from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers.
"As a result of enemy actions, one member of the Joint Forces was injured. The soldier is in a medical institution. His health condition is satisfactory," the report says.
The headquarters assured that the borders of the Ukrainian units remained the same, and the situation in the JFO area is under control.
Recall that during the day on February 10, shelling intensified in the Donbass . The separatists opened fire eight times. Then the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were not injured.
For weeks now the Biden administration, hopelessly compromised and looking at political annihilation in the coming midterm elections, has flirted with disaster. Desperate to regain credibility and to counter the obvious impotence of the man in the White House, Joe’s mandarins have made all sorts of vaguely threatening pronouncements regarding Ukraine and shoved forward a wide range of U.S. military assets into Eastern Europe.
The obvious danger of stumbling into war has been disregarded. Men who have never heard a shot fired in anger, never put their lives on the line, and have no earthly idea what strategy they are pursuing have put the whole world in danger. We may be about to pay the price for that incompetence.

Reagan was supposed to start WW III. Then Trump was supposed to. Now along comes Joe, who campaigned on "return to normalcy." Seems like irony overload, if you ask me.

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – A member of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) was wounded on Friday in an armed attack by unknown individuals in a town east of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria.
Unknown attackers targeted a checkpoint of the Asayish on the western entrance to Abu Hardub town, 80 kilometers east of Deir ez-Zor, with two RPGs, a military source of the Asayish of the town told North Press.
Clashes erupted for about half an hour between the members of the checkpoint and the armed attackers with machineguns wounding an Asayish member with two bullets in the chest, the source added.
The wounded member, who was transferred to a hospital in the town of Abu Hamam, 90 km east of Deir ez-Zor, is suffering from a very critical condition, according to a doctor operating the hospital.
The Asayish intensified patrols inside neighborhoods of the town to pursue the attackers, according to the source.
One of the attackers was wounded during the clashes and the attackers fired a Seeker Missile when Asayish members were trying to pull the wounded before they managed to ran, the source noted.
The eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor has been recently witnessing increasing assassinations launched against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), employees of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), tribal figures and civilians.
During the past two days, the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) claimed responsibility for five attacks against SDF in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

[Jpost] Hate crimes against Jewish, Asian, LGBTQ+ and disabled Americans are underreported by Western media when compared to the reporting on attacks against other minorities, according to a new report by media watchdog HonestReporting.
“Jews are victims of more hate crimes per capita than all other groups in the United States yet HonestReporting's research shows that anti-Jewish hate crimes receive disproportionately little news coverage compared to other groups, and by a disturbingly large margin," HonestReporting CEO Daniel Pomerantz told The Jerusalem Post. "Hate crimes against Asian Americans, Americans with disabilities and members of the LGBTQ+ community are similarly underreported in the media.”
HonestReporting reviewed 18 popular and mainstream Western media outlets and crossreferenced their coverage of hate crimes in the United States from 2018-2020 with the FBI's hate crime data from the same years. The amount of news coverage to attacks each year was averaged.
The minority group with the most coverage was Muslim Americans, with 6.32 articles per attack. Attacks on black Americans were underreported in previous years with less than 3 articles per attack in 2018, but have more than doubled since then, with 6.4 articles per hate crime in 2020. Anti-Latino attacks averaged around three articles per attack in the last three years. Antisemitism received just under 2 articles per attack, anti-Asian attacks yielded about 1.2 articles, LGBTQ people about 0.67 articles, and disabled Americans about 0.63 articles.
HonestReporting attributed the change in reportage of anti-black hate crimes to the reaction to the death of George Floyd in May 2020. Protests and riots against anti-black racism and police brutality followed in the wake of Floyd's death, creating widespread awareness of anti-black hate crimes.
In 2020 American Jews comprised just 2.4% of the US population, according to Pew. Despite this, in the past three years, Jews were the target of 59% of all reported religiously motivated hate crimes in the US, and the target of 10.5% of all hate crimes, according to the FBI. This makes Jews the third most targeted group by the total number of racist attacks, under LGBTQ people and above white Americans.
New York has been an epicenter of antisemitic attacks. In November 2019, physical attacks against jumped by 800% compared to the four previous months, according to NYPD hate crime statistics. A march against antisemitism attempted to bring awareness to the issue, but there have been spikes of anti-Jewish violence in May 2021, and again in January 2022. According to NYPD data, antisemitic incidents increased nearly 300% this January compared to the last.
FBI data shows that LGBTQ+ Americans were the targets of 17.7% of all hate crimes in the US in the last three years, despite being just 5.6% of the US population in 2021, according to Gallup. Anti-Asian hate crimes were 4.7% of all anti-ethnicity hate crimes in the US in the last three years, and 2.8% of all hate crimes. Americans with Asian heritage were 7% of the total population in 2021.

[REGNUM] A major provocation is being prepared in the Donbass. Igor Shishkin, an expert from the CIS Countries Institute, told a REGNUM correspondent about this on February 11.
"To be or not to be a war in Ukraine does not depend on Kiev. These issues are beyond the competence of the vice-presidents of Ukraine," the expert said.
According to the political scientist, the military hysteria has gone so far that it will end with a simple virtual victory along the lines of "the Russians did not attack Ukraine, the Russians withdrew their troops from Belarus, we won!" in the information space, it can no longer.
On a full-scale offensive, similar to the summer of 2014 and January 2015, the Ukrainian side is unlikely to go, the political scientist is sure. In Ukraine, Putin's statement is well remembered that in this case, the Ukrainian statehood in its current form will cease to exist. Therefore, most likely, a large and bloody provocation is being prepared, Shishkin is convinced.
Recall that the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia, Sergei Naryshkin , said that Ukraine is preparing for military operations at full speed.
BACKGROUND
Hostilities between the armed forces of Ukraine and the militias began in the spring of 2014 after the Donetsk People's Republic and the Lugansk People's Republic declared their independence from Kiev following a popular referendum. The Ukrainian authorities did not recognize the results and still insist that the DPR and LPR are part of the country.
The combined population of the DNR and LNR is estimated to be about 4 million people. The total losses of the parties since 2014, according to the UN, are estimated at 13,000 dead and up to 30,000 wounded.

[Korrespondent] Within 48 hours, Russia must provide data on the conduct of military activities, Kuleba said.
Ukraine demands from Russia within 48 hours to provide clarifications on military activities near the borders and in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba wrote about this on Friday, February 11, on Twitter .
"We have officially applied the danger reduction mechanism, in accordance with Section III of the Vienna Document, and have requested the Russian Federation to provide detailed clarifications on military activities in areas adjacent to the territory of Ukraine and in the temporarily occupied Crimea," the minister wrote.
He explained what the provisions of the Vienna Document meant.
"According to the provisions of the Vienna Document, the Russian Federation must provide the exact areas for conducting military activities, report the date of its completion, as well as the name, subordination, number of military formations, as well as the types of weapons and military equipment involved in it," writes the head of the Foreign Ministry.
In the event that the Russian Federation refuses to give an answer or provides insufficient information, Ukraine initiates an extraordinary meeting of the OSCE participating states.
"Russia has 48 hours to respond. In case of its absence or provision of insufficient or inappropriate information, Ukraine will apply to the Russian Federation and other states parties to the Vienna Document to convene an emergency meeting, at which the Russian Federation will have to provide an explanation," Kuleba added.
The Foreign Minister added that Ukraine will continue to use all diplomatic opportunities to ensure the country's security.
As you know, Russian troops are participating in large-scale exercises in Belarus. And the other day, the Russian Federation blocked the waters of the Black and Azov Seas for exercises. According to the State Border Service of Ukraine, the blockade in the Sea of Azov has been lifted .
[FoxNews] DHS and local law enforcement beef up personnel to counter vaccine mandate trucking protests on Super Bowl Sunday
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Friday the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had deployed 500 employees and is "surging additional staff" in coordination with California police forces to prevent disruptions at the Super Bowl in response to an international trucking protest.
The press secretary’s comments came just moments after President Biden spoke with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau regarding a two-week trucking protest that has disrupted transportation routes and supply chains between the U.S. and Canada.
Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa, where truck drivers are advocating for an end to the government's coronavirus vaccine mandate for cross-border truckers, are expected to take off in numerous U.S. cities, including Los Angeles.
DHS warned U.S. law enforcement and public safety officials this week that a trucker convoy protesting vaccine mandates could begin Feb. 13, the same day as Super Bowl LVI, and could create significant traffic jams and supply disruptions.
Psaki said DHS forces are working with California Highway Patrol, the Los Angeles Police Department, state and local authorities, as well as "extensive air and maritime security resources" to counter these protests.
"We certainly believe in peaceful protests," Psaki told reporters. But, she added, "Whatever their intended stated purpose, this effort … has the potential to have a huge impact on workers and the American public."

LA and Chicago would be tough to shut down but SF, NY, Seattle and Portland would be easy pickings for well-organized Freedom Convoys. Maybe Boston and Minneapolis as well.
#3
Amazing how quickly and forcefully the Biden and Liberal State agencies can move against protesters when the protests are challenging their agenda.
Think of the 100's of $$$Billions in destroyed & stolen private property and 10's of 1000's of innocent civilian physical injuries that could have been saved or avoided during the riots and lootings. If they had acted in the same aggressive way.
But!!! remember the NFL did "Take A Knee" to help get their WOKE / BLM / ANTI-FA violent agendas started.

At some 10 thousand for a shit seat who gives a fuck. Its like a film actors guild trophy ceremony for those who made out like bandits the last couple years.

What NN2N1 said. BLM and Antifa were the Brown Shirts of the Dem Party. Squishy RINOs abetted that clown show that rampaged across the country. Now the DHS decides the soccer moms, truck drivers, parents are terrorists. Give me a f*&^ing break.

Boriquagato's priceless today on our Ruling Morons. Here he is on Michigan's reigning hypocrite Gov. Whitless:
portraits in cluelessness
watch as leader after leader struggles in the face of reality outside the hallucination
...we travel next to everyone’s favorite creepy replicant governor, gretchen “the uncanny valley” whitmer who last made an actual human facial expression some time during the clinton administration.
now, gretchen is a more sophisticated operator than michelle. she’s not going to make a rookie mistake like “letting the proles talk too.”
gretchen has come not to talk with us but to talk at us.
but it sure does not help turn this one into a good look.
“it’s against the law! it’s hurting the economy! it’s hurting our people! it’s an illegal blockade! it’s costing hundred of millions of dollars a day!”
see, now this is quite an interesting line of argument from the chief architect of one of the more restrictive (and likely illegal) state lockdowns in the nation.
how much damage did your “blockade” cause to lives and livelihoods and educations and to medical care? how many $10’s or $100’s of billions were lost when you barred entry to and shuttered restaurants and bars and gyms and theaters and made everyone work from home in their jam-jams?
how many times did you hector the unvaxxed and champion making their lives unbearable, removing them from employment and from society until they complied?
sorry, but getting upset about a non-violent version of the same tactic being used in return as an attempt to stop the serving of the very meal you have so interminably dished out does not sound like much in the way of moral high ground....

Funny, I seem to recall a (truly) violent takeover of a downtown sector of a North American city in 2020... and the police not only did not break it up, they actually prepared to hand over control to the violent anarchists.
The Seattle mayor's deliberations with her staff have finally been made public (though the mayor's emails and text messages discussing the plan to hand over control have mysteriously disappeared):
SUWAYDA, Syria (North Press) – An individual was wounded, on Friday, in the village of Majadel in the eastern countryside of Suwayda governorate, south Syria, after the Syrian government forces stationed in Shahba checkpoint indiscriminately fired at him.
“Qasem Shalghin was wounded by the government bullets and he was transferred to the National Hospital in the city, local sources told North Press.
The sources stressed “Shalghin’s condition is critical so that he was referred to hospitals of Damascus to complete the treatment.”
Family of the wounded released a statement noting that its son is not wanted by the government and that no arrest warrant is filled against him.
Shalghin committed to the instructions while inspecting his car, “but the government members blackmailed and insulted him on purpose,” the statement read.
The statement added, “For being blackmailed, he drived passing through the checkpoint so that the government members on the checkpoint fired his car wounding him critically.”
Checking the car revealed that it was hit with 14 bullets.
Suwayda governorate witnessed, on Friday, large-scale protesters condemning the deteriorating living conditions and the government decision to lift subsidy for thousands of families.

[KavkazUzel] An 18-year-old resident of the Kirovsky district of the Stavropol Territory, who intended to blow up one of Novopavlovsk's infrastructure facilities, was charged with preparing a terrorist attack, investigators reported today.
The Directorate of the Sledkom of Russia for the Stavropol Territory reported on the start of an investigation into a criminal case against an 18-year-old resident of the Kirov District about the preparation of a terrorist attack.
According to the investigation, the young man, being a supporter of an extremist organization, planned to blow up "one of the Novopavlovsk infrastructure facilities" from January to April 2021.
The investigation suggested that in the spring of 2021 he prepared a place for laying an explosive, and also acquired a TNT bomb, but he could not carry out his plans in connection with the arrest in connection with the case of organizing the activities of an extremist organization, the Stavropol TFR department reported today.
In March 2021, a young man recorded an audio message in which he took an oath of allegiance to an extremist organization banned in Russia and distributed it in one of the Internet messengers,
...sounds like ISIS or one of the Al Qaeda branches...
and then tried to recruit residents of the district to participate in the activities of the organization, but was refused.
The criminal cases against the young man have been merged into one proceeding. He is under arrest on charges of preparing for a terrorist attack. illegal acquisition and possession of explosive devices, recruitment and participation in the activities of banned religious organizations, according to a statement on the agency's website.
The "Caucasian Knot" also wrote that in April 2021, a cell of the organization “At-Takfir wal-Hijra"
...also known as Jama'at al-Muslimin, a takfiri spinoff of the Muslim Brotherhood that’s been around since 1971. The original home of Ayman Al-Zawahiri and his Al Qaeda buddies...
was uncovered in the Stavropol Territory. Then, 16 suspects were detained, and on July 21 and 22, 2021, eight more of her supporters were detained.
Aircraft of the Nigerian Air Force under Operation Thunder Strike have bombed at least 20 terrorists otherwise known as bandits, who were heading for the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna State.
Credible intelligence sources told PR Nigeria that the bandits, riding on over 50 motorcycles, were seen on Thursday evening, advancing towards the Academy, in Kaduna State.
Recall that gunmen, suspected to be bandits, invaded the military academic institution, in June 2021.
During the previous attack, a Nigerian Army Captain was abducted as the criminals shot two soldiers dead.
Following a tip-off on movement of bandits through the military school’s general areas on Thursday, two Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter gunships were dispatched to engage the criminals, who had taken off from Damari village in the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area.
The bandits, in their numbers, were sighted in makeshift tents and motorcycles amounting up to 50.
"On sighting the aircraft, the bandits started fleeing into the fringes of the forest. This brought about an objective and very decisive rain of hell from above on the miscreants as surviving bandits seen to be scampering for safety from the superior air presence were effectively mopped up.
"Moreso as it is customary, feedback received on Friday, after the operation from both the ground forces and local sources, revealed that the bandits were effectively disoriented and suffered a loss of about 20 bandits.
"Also, their plans of harassing and shaming the Nigerian Defence Academy and the Government of the day were effectively thwarted," he said.
[FoxNews] Officials said bail reform and the dismissal of criminal cases have fueled the ongoing crime wave
Houston-area law enforcement officials voiced frustration toward Harris County judges this week for dismissing a large number of criminal cases amid an ongoing crime surge in the region, saying criminals are feeling emboldened by lax penalties for violent offenders.
Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said he was notified several months ago by District Attorney Kim Ogg
...gay, grew up a Houston Democrat, became Republican, then switched back to become Texas’s first George Soros-backed DA...
that judges and magistrates had slated thousands of cases for dismissal. Her prosecutors were left with no choice but to dismiss the cases, he said.
From Jan 17 but still relevant for the upcoming midterms.
[Emerald Robinson at Substack] The ballot transfer forms really tell the story of election cheating in 2020.
President Trump’s spokeswoman Liz Harrington released a thread on Twitter that catalogs the election "anomalies" being uncovered in Georgia — "anomalies" being the corporate media’s favorite euphemism for cheating.
For instance, drop boxes for ballots in Rockdale County were picked up after the 2020 election was over.
Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (supposedly a Republican) did not care to help investigate this matter. That’s no surprise since Raffensperger’s office accepted nearly $5.6 million from a group directly linked to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
More than 300,000 ballot transfer forms were missing, and more than 100,000 ballot transfer forms were incomplete or improper.
Remember: the GOP establishment and the Democrats conspired to get rid of Trump and throw the 2020 election to Biden. However, Trump is not on the 2022 ballot — which is why Raffensperger is suddenly interested in investigating Fulton County (a Democrat stronghold) for allegedly violating state rules "requiring absentee ballot drop box transfer forms to be filled out." After all, neither Raffensperger nor the GOP want the Democrats to continue to cheat in the 2022 mid-terms in the same way that they were allowed to do in 2020.
Notice the timing. Raffensperger was colluding with Zuckerberg and the Democrats before the 2020 election but now he’s suing Biden’s Department of Justice because he suddenly needs to defend secure election laws before the 2022 election.
[Breitbart] Del Rio Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 2,000 migrants during a 48-hour period in what is becoming the nation’s busiest sector.
Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Jason D. Owens tweeted photos showing groups of migrants being apprehended after they illegally cross the border from Mexico into Texas. The chief reported his agents arrested more than 2,000 migrants, including unaccompanied children, in a 48-hour time frame.
“Life in DRT, the men & women holding the line & dealing w/ this influx deserve nothing less than the full support of a grateful nation,” Chief Owens tweeted. “It’s an INCREDIBLY tough & frustrating situation for them.”
The tweet from Chief Owens follows just days after he reported Del Rio Sector agents apprehended more than 720 migrants per day over the first weekend in February.
The massive increase in migrant apprehensions in the last five weeks moved the Del Rio Sector to the busiest of the nine southwest Border Patrol sectors, according to a source operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Chief Owens stated some stations within the sector are experiencing increases of 350 percent over the same period in 2021, Breitbart Texas reported.
During a recent border tour, Breitbart Texas captured exclusive video of a steady flow of mostly Venezuelan migrants crossing at a single crossing point in Eagle Pass, Texas. Within about two hours, approximately 50 migrants crossed at this one location.
Another 5-year-old female child found, making this the second in two days.
This time a 5-year-old Honduran female was found with three other children, the oldest being 16.

132 Migrants Found Locked in Tractor-Trailer in Far West Texas near Border
[Breitbart] Border Patrol agents in the El Paso Sector rescued a group of 132 migrants locked inside a tractor-trailer near the Texas border with Mexico. The group included two unaccompanied Guatemalan migrant children. The 130 adult migrants were identified as citizens of Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico, officials stated.
[Breitbart] A new section of border fence is expected to go up locally as the result of a partnership between the State and the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas. The new section, constructed by the Texas Military Department, will be located south of Eagle Pass on tribal lands.
On Tuesday, officials with the Texas Military Department and the Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol met with members of the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe to discuss the border fence project. The exact scope of the project was not revealed. A Texas Department of Public Safety official says the project is part of Operation Lone Star.
“The border crisis has impacted the tribal reservation significantly. The tribal council has for the first time allowed a government to construct security fencing on the reservation,” Captain Joel Betancourt said.
The Kickapoo Traditional Tribe’s reservation is located eight miles south of Eagle Pass. The reservation is located on the banks of the Rio Grande. There, the tribe operates the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino. The tribe also operates a pecan orchard and owns ranches in Texas and Mexico.
According to a source with the Border Patrol in the area, the tribe has always been a strong proponent of border security. The source says the tribe has allowed Border Patrol to place surveillance equipment and offer security assistance on their lands.
The source says the tribe is sympathetic to the economic plight of migrants crossing in the area but also recognizes the need for security to safeguard residents living on the reservation. In 2001, the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas allowed the installation of two remote surveillance towers to monitor what was then one of the busiest border crossing points for narcotics and migrants in the area.
As reported by Breitbart Texas, Governor Greg Abbott ordered the construction of more than two miles of border wall in Eagle Pass. Operation Lone Star has moved 10,000 National Guard troops and hundreds of Highway Patrol Troopers as well.

[RIA Novosti] Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, during a meeting with his British counterpart Ben Wallace in Moscow, suggested that Western countries contribute to reducing tensions in Europe and stop supplying weapons to Ukraine.
“It’s coming from all sides, it’s being done publicly. It’s being done in a revealing way. It’s not entirely clear why. I would also like to understand why Britain, the kingdom, sent its special forces to Ukraine and how long it will stay there,” Shoigu said.
The minister cited the situation in Afghanistan as an example, when the country was pumped with weapons, which, after the withdrawal of the Western military, fell into the hands of terrorists.
In turn, the head of the British defense department said that he listened to the assurances of the Russian military about the absence of plans to invade Ukraine, and he takes them seriously.
According to Shoigu, the military-political situation on the European continent has deteriorated significantly and this requires urgent measures to be taken to ensure security guarantees for Moscow.
"The Russian Defense Minister briefly commented on the responses received from the United States and NATO on Russian draft agreements on this issue. He focused on the lack of responses to the key demands of the Russian Federation: refusal to expand NATO, non-deployment of strike weapons near Russian borders, as well as the return of military capabilities and infrastructure bloc in Europe to the position of 1997, when the Russia-NATO Founding Act was signed, pointed out that it is impossible to reduce military-political tensions and build a solid European security architecture without resolving these issues," the report says.
At the same time, the parties noted the importance of continuing contacts on preventing incidents and reducing the risks of unintentional conflicts. Shoigu stressed that the Russian Defense Ministry is ready to consider proposals for restoring bilateral military cooperation.
"This is our first meeting in recent years. Unfortunately, the level of our cooperation is close to zero and is about to cross the zero meridian and go negative, which I really would not like. Therefore, I really hope to have the opportunity to discuss the most pressing issues with you without any or escalating and raising the temperature even higher in relations between Russia and the countries of the NATO bloc, and especially with Great Britain," the minister said.
He noted that recently in the speeches of British officials, threats of sanctions have appeared through the line, and he would not like this meeting to become a continuation of such rhetoric.
[Breitbart] San Francisco’s government is allowing Honduran drug dealers to prey on Americans, a homeless drug addict told Micheal Shellenberg, the author of a book about the city government’s support for drug addiction.
“I’ve talked to the cops here [saying] ‘I’m literally 10 feet away from the drug dealers talking [while] to you guys, why don’t you guys arrest them right now?”‘said James, a coherent addict from Texas. He continued:
And they’re like “Arrest them for what?” And I’m like, “Dude, what the f…?” [They respond] “San Francisco is a sanctuary city. [If] we arrest the Hondurans, we put them in jail [and] they’re out two days later.”
The video comes amid news that President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has sharply reduced the deportation of illegal migrants, and as the federal government is expanding subsidies for progressive groups which may provide “harm reduction” crack pipes and syringes to addicts instead of helping them break away from addiction.
Nellie Bowles, a former New York Times reporter, wrote about the city’s encouragement of drug addiction:
Over the past two years, more than 1,360 people have died from drug overdoses in San Francisco. That is more than double the number who have died from Covid.
[….]
The people in charge of homelessness and addiction want to bully people into giving up public streets and parks. They want to take your tax money and let your suffering neighbors die gentle, stoned deaths while they watch and call it justice.
Shellenberg is the author of San Fransicko: Why Progressives Ruin Cities, which covers the government-backed drug distribution network on his website:
Right now, in the heart of downtown San Francisco, “the bullshit” the mayor spoke about is worsening by the day. The city is running a supervised drug consumption site in United Nations Plaza—just blocks away from city hall and the opera house—in flagrant violation of state and federal law. (Two weeks ago, my colleagues and I broke the story. The San Francisco Chronicle confirmed our reporting.) There, city-funded service providers supervise people smoking fentanyl and meth they buy from drug dealers across the street.
The police do nothing. Indeed, the mayor, through the Department of Emergency Management and the Department of Public Health, is running the site.
[…]
The city is carrying out a bizarre medical experiment whereby addicts are given everything they need to maintain their addiction—cash, hot meals, shelter—in exchange for . . . almost nothing. Voters have found themselves in the strange position of paying for fentanyl, meth and crack use on public property.

Over the past two years, more than 1,360 people have died from drug overdoses in San Francisco. That is more than double the number who have died from Covid.
So the logical response to the former is to create an open-air city-backed shooting gallery-cum-tent city facing City Hall while forcing pointless masks and failed pseudo-vaccines to address the latter. Riiiight.
The city is carrying out a bizarre medical experiment
Funny that the gummint seems to be carrying out lots of bizarre medical experiments these days...
...whereby addicts are given everything they need to maintain their addiction—cash, hot meals, shelter—in exchange for . . . almost nothing. Voters have found themselves in the strange position of paying for fentanyl, meth and crack use on public property.
Makes perfect sense. Addicts and Degenerates = God's Children. Citizens = The Class Enemy

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday evening , a gang released a doctor they had kidnapped a month ago in the eastern countryside of Daraa.
The gang released the doctor after paying a ransom,” a source close to the doctor Haidar Ali al-Rifai said.
The source added that the doctor’s family paid a ransom of 100 million Syrian pounds ($30, 000).
The doctor was in the eastern town of Karak with a gang engaged in kidnapping and theft, the source said.

The Arab Coalition has conducted 16 targeted #strikes in Yemen’s Hajjah and Saada in 24 hours, to deter the Iran-backed #Houthi militia, the official Saudi Press Agency reports.https://t.co/xQt5mAzzjQ
The Arab Coalition has conducted 16 targeted strikes in Yemen’s Hajjah and Saada in the last 24 hours, in an attempt to deter the Iran-backed Houthi militia, the official Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.
The targeted strikes resulted in the destruction of 13 “military vehicles,” according to SPA, and caused casualties among the Houthis.
No fatalities were reported by SPA.
The operation comes during a time when tensions are rising with Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis.
On Thursday, the Arab Coalition asked residents of Sanaa to evacuate some “civilian sites” in the next 72 hours and warned of strikes on the Houthi militia in the area.
“Crucial points will be bombed in Sanaa that the Houthis use to launch marches,” the Arab Coalition in an earlier statement carried by SPA.
The warning came after the Houthi militia conducted a drone strike against Saudi Arabia’s Abha International Airport on Thursday, injuring 12 people.
Abha, near Saudi Arabia’s southern border with Yemen, is a regular target of drone and missile strikes launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia fighting coalition forces in Yemen.
Numerous countries and country representatives including the US Department of State, the UAE, Jordan, Egypt, and others, condemned the airport attack.

This being the Daily Mail and me being suspicious, I cannot help but wonder if there is something more here beyond playing Minecraft. Back when Doom(tm) was a thing, the US Marines created custom game scenarios for training 4 man fire teams. Could it be that our young hooligans had their eye on a real-world target?
According to investigators, the three teenagers were learning to make improvised explosive devices and practised detonating them in abandoned buildings.
What they were doing wasn't *all* fantasy. But there's a world of difference between the physics of minecraft and the real world.

Not a hint but supported by actual evidence of real-world coordinated anarchist activity -- nb Russia has a long and unsettling history with violent revolutionary anarchists:
"In summer 2020, Uvarov and two other teenagers were in the Siberian city of Kansk for spreading leaflets in support of a Moscow mathematician and anarchist activist who was on trial for vandalism.
"The trio put one of the leaflets on a local building of the FSB, Russia's powerful domestic security agency and successor of the Soviet-era KGB.
"Police took their phones and said they found an exchange about plans to blow up an FSB building that they had created in the popular block-building game Minecraft."

I dont see a nato no fly zone in ukraine, biden is talking more sanctions.
strategically germans wont allow attacks from germany, eastern med is bottle necked by russian base in western syria.
Putin has absolute power, now working on his legacy.
My bet is yeah they will attack, its not a NATO member.
All the public opinion polling data show beyond the shadow of a doubt that there is next to zero Russian public support for invading Ukraine, annexing Ukraine or even for "treating the West as an enemy." Russians overwhelmingly oppose a war with Ukraine.
Russians don't give a fvck about Ukraine; they care intensely about "resisting NATO" and its expansion into Russia's space.
At home, Putin has been emphasizing that NATO is to blame for the ratcheting up of tensions, and the public appears to share this view.Three in 4 Russians we surveyed think NATO will try to weaken their country if Putin does not stand up to it. Consistently over many years, surveys show that Russians see NATO as a threat even as they want good relations with the West.
While Russians oppose a broader conflict in Ukraine and would rather not approach the West as an antagonist, standing up to NATO is a popular theme. It’s likely that a strategy of hard-nosed and prolonged negotiations would be more popular with Putin’s domestic audience than armed intervention.
[Breitbart] During a portion of an interview with NBC aired on Thursday’s edition of “NBC Nightly News,” President Joe Biden dismissed the accounts in an Army report that the administration wasn’t prepared for the withdrawal from Afghanistan but denied he was told that administration officials were prepared and knew it was time to leave.
Host Lester Holt asked, “I have to draw your attention to that Army report, an investigative report that’s come out about the lead-up to the withdrawal from Afghanistan. It interviewed many military officials and officers who said the administration ignored the handwriting on the wall, another described trying to get folks in the embassy ready to evacuate and encountering people who were in — essentially in denial of the situation. Does any of that ring true to you?”
Biden responded, “No, no. That’s not what I was told.”
Holt then asked, “That you were told that the U.S. administration officials were prepared, they knew it was time to get out?”
Biden answered, “No. What I was told — no one told me that — look, there was no good time to get out.”
He also stated, “But if we had not gotten out, they acknowledged that we would have had to put a hell of a lot more troops back in. It wasn’t just 2,000, 4,000. We would have had to significantly increase the number of troops, and we’re back in this war of attrition. And there was no way we were ever going to unite Ukraine — I mean, excuse me, Iraq — Afghanistan, no way that was going to happen. And so, this was a much wiser thing to do.”
Holt then asked, “I just want to clarify, are you rejecting the conclusions or the accounts that are in this Army report?”
Biden responded, “Yes, I am.” He added, “I’m rejecting them.”

At least 50% probability that memory is lost in the brain rot, Merrick. It doesn’t change the gentleman’s general categorization as a lying sack of shit, but his memory of knowing that particular thing may no longer exist.

Harriss either resigns or is impeached. McCarthy becomes pres. People start going to jail or leaving the country. Leavers have their citizenship revoked. Hoo-fng-ray!!
