[Reuters] MOSCOW - The Kremlin on Thursday said Facebook’s removal of accounts controlled by various Russian media was a hostile move that smacked of censorship.
Facebook said on Tuesday it had deleted hundreds of Russian accounts and pages associated with a "troll factory" indicted by U.S. prosecutors for fake activist and political posts in the 2016 U.S. election campaign.
When asked about Facebook’s move, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Thursday agreed with a questioner from one of the affected media outlets that it was a hostile step which smacked of censorship.
"Yes it is," Peskov told a conference call with reporters. "We are of course following this and we regret it."

...that was because all we were given were country club Chamber of Commerce pols who masqueraded as Trunks. If the funding bill didn't convince you of that fact, maybe you need a time out. Hope is not a strategy.
[Fox via American Thinker and Conservative Treehouse] Sean Hannity’s timing and choice of guests last night could not have been better. Combine Alan Dershowitz, the liberal-with-principles, and Joe diGenova, the principled foe of government abuse to discuss the ex-post-facto secret memo from Rod Rosenstein expanding Mueller’s investigation and you get intelligent fireworks that shed a lot of light.
This is one video that pays huge dividends for the 8 minutes you invest in.

Dershowitz and DiGenova don't think much of the SC or the way it is being conducted. They are not too high on Rosenstein either. They laid out law and they don't think it is being followed. Slammed Rosenstein for stealing a year of the presidency with no evidence of wrong-doing. Got to agree. SC needs to fold up its tent and go home and quit interfering with goverment-- or if you will, obstructing the law.
[BBC] Russia state TV has aired a recording of an alleged phone conversation, which it says took place between UK poisoning victim Yulia Skripal and her cousin.
Ms Skripal and her father, ex-spy Sergei Skripal, are in hospital in Salisbury following a nerve-agent attack against them last month.
In the recording, which has not yet been verified, she says she is fine.
The UK government has accused Russia of being behind the attack, sparking an international diplomatic crisis.
The alleged Yulia tells her cousin Viktoria: "Everything is ok. He [her father] is resting now, having a sleep. Everyone's health is fine, there are no irreparable things. I will be discharged soon. Everything is ok."
[BBC] Thousands of Google employees have signed an open letter asking the internet giant to stop working on a project for the US military.
Project Maven involves using artificial intelligence to improve the precision of military drone strikes.
Employees fear Google's involvement will "irreparably damage" its brand.
"We believe that Google should not be in the business of war," says the letter, which is addressed to Google chief executive Sundar Pichai.
"Therefore we ask that Project Maven be cancelled, and that Google draft, publicise and enforce a clear policy stating that neither Google nor its contractors will ever build warfare technology."
No military projects
The letter, which was signed by 3,100 employees - including "dozens of senior engineers", according to the New York Times - says that staff have already raised concerns with senior management internally. Google has more than 88,000 employees worldwide.
In response to concerns raised, the head of Google's cloud business, Diane Greene, assured employees that the technology would not be used to launch weapons, nor would it be used to operate or fly drones.
However, the employees who signed the letter feel that the internet giant is putting users' trust at risk, as well ignoring its "moral and ethical responsibility". "We cannot outsource the moral responsibility of our technologies to third parties," the letter says.
"Google's stated values make this clear: every one of our users is trusting us. Never jeopardise that. Ever.
"Building this technology to assist the US government in military surveillance - and potentially lethal outcomes - is not acceptable."
'Non-offensive purposes'
Google confirmed that it was allowing the Pentagon to use some of its image recognition technologies as part of a military project, following an investigative report by tech news site Gizmodo in March.
A Google spokesperson told the BBC: "Maven is a well-publicised Department of Defense project and Google is working on one part of it - specifically scoped to be for non-offensive purposes and using open-source object recognition software available to any Google Cloud customer.
"The models are based on unclassified data only. The technology is used to flag images for human review and is intended to save lives and save people from having to do highly tedious work.
"Any military use of machine learning naturally raises valid concerns. We're actively engaged across the company in a comprehensive discussion of this important topic and also with outside experts, as we continue to develop our policies around the development and use of our machine learning technologies."
The internet giant is working on developing policies for the use of its artificial intelligence technologies.

They didn't say anything when Borat Obama was writing big fat checks to Iran, which they used to... guess what? Wage war in Syria, and pay the Russians to wage war in Syria.
(Yah, the leftovers of the Administration that paid for the Russian bombing campaign in Syria are going to investigate Trump and Co. for Collusion.)
[Jpost] Palestinians plan to engulf the Gaza border with smoke and flames from thousands of burning tires on Friday as Israel holds firm to its order to shoot any protesters who come close to the security barrier.
In the past several days, groups of young Gazans have been collecting old tires around the Strip and bringing them to the border.
Palestinians intend to light the tires on fire to blur the vision of the soldiers on the Israeli side of the security fence, according to a Gaza-based source familiar with preparations for what he called "the Friday of Old Tires. Al Gore to the rescue?
#3
No. No recycling. I remember a pair of sandals I used to have that were made in Mexico using old tires. I had those things for years and they never came close to wearing out. I finally lost them and that was a sad day because they were cool.
The point is, instead of being destructive and making fools of themselves the Palestinians could be finding creative, peaceful and even profitable uses for those old tires. But then, they are Palestinians.

A friend of mine was in Viet Nam back in the day and was rotating home after his last patrol. He had wanted a pair of Ho Chi Min sandals (made from old tires and worn by the VC) and decided to get a pair on this patrol. He did get a pair and when relating the story at work the lady next to us asked how he got a pair out in the jungle. She was appaled when he told her he took them off a VC. She said, "How could you take that poor man's Shoes?" He sai, "Lady, that "poor man" was trying to kill me a few minutes earlier and I figured he wouldn't need them any more". I laughed till I hurt.

If your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere and you want to call attention to your location, set your spare tire on fire - well away from your car, of course. The reasonably smoke column is easy to see in daylight & reasonably clear weather.
[Barely a Blog] I met Winnie Madikizela-Mandela briefly, at the inauguration of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. My father had been invited. He took me along. It was a beautiful affair; the choir and choral music sublime. Mrs. Mandela was a beautiful woman in her youth. It was easy to see why Nelson Mandela had fallen for her.
As a young bride whose husband had been imprisoned for life, Winnie suffered bitterly, especially during her exile to "Brandfort in the Free State, where she was unceremoniously dumped at house 802 with her youngest daughter, Zinzi. There was no running water or electricity and the house had no floors or ceilings. The people spoke mainly Sotho, Tswana or Afrikaans and hardly any Xhosa, which was Winnie’s home language."
With the years, however, Mrs. Mandela only grew angrier and more bitter, even when the good times rolled around.
She soon attained international ill repute for being embroiled in the practice of "necklacing" of so-called suspected police informers. "Necklacing," for those who don’t know, is the more contemporary African custom of placing a diesel-doused tire around a putative offender’s neck and igniting it. Truth be told, her victims were regular black folks who weren’t loyalists of the African National Congress.
Little Stompie Moeketsi was "a teenage United Democratic Front (UDF) activist." Winnie and her football team, aka posse (don’s ask me to explain), stood in the dock for these acts of barbarism against him and others:
Moeketsi, together with Kenny Kgase, Pelo Mekgwe and Thabiso Mono, were kidnapped on December 29, 1988 from the Methodist manse in Orlando, Soweto.[1] Moeketsi was accused of being a police informer. Screams were heard as Stompie Moeketsi was murdered, at the age of 14, by Jerry Richardson, member of Winnie Mandela’s "Football Club". His body was recovered on waste ground near Winnie Mandela’s house on January 6, 1989.[1] His throat had been cut. Jerry Richardson, one of Winnie Mandela’s bodyguards, was convicted of the murder. He stated that she had ordered him, with others, to abduct the four youths from Soweto, of whom Moeketsi was the youngest.[3] The four were severely beaten.
Involvement of Winnie Mandela In 1991, Winnie Mandela was convicted of kidnapping and being an accessory to assault.
According to a 1997 statement by the South African Press Association, the first-ever necklacing was of a girl named Maki Skosana, who in July 1985 was necklaced after being accused baselessly of involvement in the killing of several youths.
"With our boxes of matches and our necklaces, we shall liberate this country," proclaimed Mandela’s increasingly deranged wife Winnie to The New York Times on February 20, 1989.
[Guardian] The Facebook data of up to 87 million people ‐ 37 million more than previously reported ‐ may have been improperly shared with Cambridge Analytica, the company has revealed.
This larger figure, which included over a million UK users, was buried in the penultimate paragraph of a blogpost by the company’s chief technology officer, Mike Schroepfer, published on Wednesday, which also provided updates on the changes Facebook was making to better protect user information.
Mark Zuckerberg, during a conference call shortly after the post was published, said: "We didn’t take a broad enough view on what our responsibility was and that was a huge mistake. That was my mistake."
Skipping down a bit
The data was collected through an app called thisisyourdigitallife, built by Cambridge University academic Aleksandr Kogan through his company Global Science Research in collaboration with Cambridge Analytica. Hundreds of thousands of users were paid a small fee to take a personality test and they consented to have their data collected. Aleksandr Kogan aka Aleksandr Spectre
However, the app also harvested the information of the participants’ friends, which allowed for the accumulation of data from tens of millions of Americans.

[Daily Caller] A city in Illinois is making a gun control activists’ dreams come true.
The Village Board of Trustees in Deerfield, Ill., a suburb of Chicago, approved an ordinance to ban "assault weapons" and large capacity magazines, Cleveland 19 News reports.
Violators will face a hefty fine. If the owner of an assault weapon lives in the town does not voluntarily turn over their banned weapon, he will be fined $1,000 a day until the weapon is confiscated.
According to Cleveland 19 News, the term "assault rifle" applies to "Semiautomatic rifles with a fixed magazine and a capacity to hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition are banned. Shotguns that have revolving chambers are also outlawed."
In a press release sent out by the city, the mayor cites the Parkland, Fla. high school shooting as the motivator for the ordinance:

I'd expect people with relatives in neighboring states will let their relatives "store" their guns for them. If I ran a gun shop in a neighboring state, I'd get a firearms lawyer on board and buy up all the black rifles I could get from people who can't move away from Deerfield.

[Daily Caller] A book published in March offered a startling but little-noticed revelation about former CIA Director John Brennan. According to "Russian Roulette," Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid believed Brennan was using him as a conduit to publicize possible links between Trump campaign associates and the Russian government.
Brennan’s contacts with Reid ‐ and other activities during the 2016 presidential campaign ‐ are of "significant" interest to congressional investigators trying to figure out the ex-spy’s early role in the Russia investigation, The Daily Caller News Foundation is told.
"By his own account, Brennan played a prominent role in starting the investigation of Trump’s team," a congressional source with direct knowledge of the House of Representatives’ Russia investigations tells TheDCNF.
"Investigators in Congress suspect there are important details about his role that he hasn’t revealed, and we’re trying to get to the bottom of it."
According to "Russian Roulette," by Yahoo! News chief investigative correspondent Michael Isikoff and David Corn, the Washington bureau chief of the left-wing Mother Jones magazine, Brennan contacted Reid on Aug. 25, 2016 to brief him on the state of Russia’s interference in the presidential campaign. Brennan briefed other members of the so-called Gang of Eight, but Reid is the only who took direct action.

[Townhall] On Wednesday, the National Council of Churches (NCC), which claims to represent more than 45 million people of faith across the United States, held a rally on the National Mall in Washington D.C. to mark the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination by calling on America to "Act To End Racism."
The event featured a huge list of speakers, most of whom were pastors, priests, or leaders of religious organizations, but the founders of Ben and Jerry’s, Hollywood actor Danny Glover, and Black Lives Matter activist DeRay Mckesson also made featured appearances.
However, regardless of the individual speakers or their personal backgrounds, all of them had one resounding message: White Americans are oppressing "black and brown people" through a deliberate system of "white supremacy," and they must repent and seek redemption by taking action to destroy that system.

According to wikipedia:
NCC is an ecumenical partnership of 38 Christian faith groups ... representing 40 million.
The list of 38 members on wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_National_Council_of_Churches_members
I thank God none of the churches I have fellowshipped with were on this list.
From a young age I have always been suspicious of fellowship groups.
If a group is not focused on Jesus Christ and a literal Bible it is very easy to get caught up into social justice causes like:
equal outcomes rather than equal opportunity, so called living wages for everyone, save the environment (and the world), animal rights, victimhood, guilt of racism (since everyone is prejudiced), can not judge anyone or anything because of of one's own prejudice, proclaim inequality therefore demand reparations for victims.
This is all the false gospel of victimhood.
You are the victim not at fault of your own because someone else is to blame for your oppression.
Anyone who knows Jesus is a victor not a victim.
But these social justice warriors have excluded Jesus.
So I can have no part with them or their causes.

My wife and I were discussing this and decided that all this white privilege stuff is really just a rehash of "White Man's Burden" Everyone else is so inferior that whites once again must uplift everyone else because they can't do themselves. So once again, the Democrats have found a way to prove to themselves that they are superior and better than everyone else. Because when you look at the core of the Democrat party, you find that deep suited need to enslave others.
[AlAhram] Upper Egypt's criminal court of Sohag on Wednesday sentenced 35 members of the banned Moslem Brüderbund group to life in prison on charges of weapons possession in Sohag.
In the same case, the court also convicted 155 others, handing down various sentences ranging between three and 15 years in prison. The sentences can still be appealed.
The weapons were uncovered in 2015 after the interior ministry’s national-security investigations department in Sohag received information about a group hiding in a cave in the governorate's western mountains.
According to the court, 61 defendants received 15 years in prison, 62 received 10 years, 26 others received five years in prison and six members received three years in prison.
The general prosecution has accused them of acts of terror, planning terror crimes in the governorate and targeting police personnel.

The president earned a monthly job approval of 46% in March, down two points from February but still better than it has been for several months prior to that.
[Ynet] Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... Death Eaters have restated their loyalty to the group's leader His Supreme Immensity, Caliph of the Faithful and Galactic Overlord, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi ...the head of ISIS, or what remains of it, and a veteran of the Abu Graib jailhouse. Looks like a new messiah to bajillions of Moslems, like just another dead-eyed mass murder to the rest of us. So far he has been killed at least four times, though not yet by a stake through the heart... , in what is believed to be their first public pledge of allegiance to him since his "caliphate" in Syria and Iraq collapsed last year.
The group continues to carry out bombings, ambushes and liquidations in both countries, as well as in Libya. However, by candlelight every wench is handsome... Baghdadi's whereabouts have been unknown since the cross-border "caliphate" he declared in 2014 disintegrated with the fall of djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... and Raqqa, its strongholds in Iraq and Syria respectively.
"To infuriate and terrorize the infidels, we renew our pledge of loyalty to the commander of the faithful and the caliph of the Moslems, the mujahid sheikh Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi al-Hussaini al-Qurashi may god preserve him," Death Eaters said in a statement posted on their social media groups.
Hisham al-Hashimi, who advises several governments including Iraq's on Islamic State affairs, told Rooters this was the first known pledge of loyalty to Baghdadi since Iraqi forces recaptured Mosul in July and an alliance of Kurdish and Arab militias took Raqqa in November, in both cases backed by a US-led coalition.

Al-Baghdadi killed at least 4 times and captured several times; the Freddy Krueger and Houdini combined of ISIS? Probably will die of old age with his two wives, 6 children and grandkids.
[AlAhram] The Takfiri ...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed... Monitoring Observatory at Egypt’s Dar al-Ifta said on Wednesday that celebrations held by the Moslem Brüderbund to commemorate its 90th anniversary are surprising given that the group's young members are being snatched by terrorist groups like ISIS and al-Qaeda.
On Monday, the Moslem Brüderbund, which is banned in Egypt as a terrorist group, commemorated in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire.... its 90th anniversary in a ceremony attended by dozens of Brotherhood leaders including Ibrahim Mounir, the movement’s deputy leader, and the former head of the Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", political bureau Khaled Meshaal.
Egypt's Dar al-Ifta, the instititution in charge of issuing official religious edicts, said in a statement that the Brotherhood has been suffering serious splits and disintegration, especially among its younger members.
"The [Brotherhood] has split into various hostile and conflicting groups. The cuurent conditions of serious divisions and fragmentation into various groups and currents made it "a savory feast" for al-Qaeda and ISIS, who are fighting over a larger share of the group's youths," the staement said.
Dar al-Ifta's Takfiri Monitoring Observatory was created in 2015 to track and combat extremism, reform religious discourse in Egypt, and respond to erroneous and murderous Moslem interpretations of Islam, especially those that promote violence. The observatory's website produces content in 10 different languages.
The Brotherhood was designated a terrorist organization in Egypt in late 2013 after it was accused of involvement in several terrorist attacks on security forces in the country following the ouster of Islamist president Mohammed Morsi.
The statement added that ISIS has been successful in recruiting a number of these Brotherhood members, as was the case with the son of prominent Brotherhood leader Ibrahim El-Deeb.
In February 2018, a video was released by ISIS revealing that El-Deeb's son, Omar, had joined its ranks in Sinai.
Dar al-Ifta also said that the Brotherhood has been approached by al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri, who has attempted to recruit its members with the aim of "toppling the regime" in Egypt.
The Dar al-Ifta statement said that Brotherhood members are prime candidates for murderous Moslem groups given their custom of blind obedience to directives by leadership.
"The Brotherhood represent the womb out of which all terrorist and murderous Moslem organizations have come out," Dar al-Ifta said.
The Moslem Brüderbund was founded 90 years ago by Hassan El-Banna in Egypt, later growing to become a major player in both Egyptian and regional politics.

[Bloomberg] Bahrain will invite international oil companies to help it develop its first major discovery in decades, hoping to begin production within five years... Production from the new discovery could one day reach 200,000 barrels a day, local newspaper Al-Ayam reported... The amount of oil and gas that can be recovered from hard-to-reach pockets in shale rocks under the sea is uncertain, and development is potentially an expensive proposition. Halliburton Co. will drill two wells this year in the offshore Khaleej Al Bahrain Basin to appraise how much of the oil contained underground is actually recoverable. [total in the field is about 80B barrels - maybe 4B actually economically extract-able under current technology]. Undeniably, a considerable amount of fracking oil.

Virtually all oil fields have oil shale source rock associated with them somewhere. Some small amount of that shale oil was naturally expelled into the oil reservoirs or lost to the surface. How much of the rest can be recovered by artificial means (e.g. fracking) is a big question - perhaps 5-10%?

[ALMASDARNEWS] Units of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) discovered an underground tunnel network connecting two underground field hospitals left behind by Lion of Islam groups in the Eastern Ghouta town of Arbeen, Monday, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
Footage captured on Monday, shows Syrian Army soldiers walking down the tunnel ‐ which according to SANA, extends for more than 400 metres ‐ and discovering an abandoned underground field hospital.
According to SANA, army units have discovered a network of tunnels extending for several kilometres and connecting Lion of Islam positions and underground bases throughout the once-militant controlled districts of Jobar, Ayn Tarma, Arbeen and Zamalka.
Footage captured on Sunday, on the national highway between Zamalka and Jobar shows the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) clearing the area from rubble and wreckage.
In the last weeks, deals were made between holy warriors and Syrian government forces, which allowed holy warriors and their families to relocate out of the Eastern Ghouta area into the northwest of Syria.
[AlAhram] Syrian rebel group Jaish al-Islam ...Liwa al-Islam (Brigade of Islam) was established by Zahran Alloush, the son of Saudi-based religious scholar Abdullah Mohammed Alloush, after Syrian authorities released him from prison in mid-2011 where he had been serving time for his Salafist activism. The group claimed responsibility for carrying out the July 2012 Damascus bombing that killed Defense Minister Dawoud Rajiha, Deputy Defense Minister Asef Shawkat, and Assistant Vice President Hassan Turkmani. [Zeihan] The United States and South Korea have agreed on an overhaul of their bilateral trade agreement this past week. In it, the Koreans caved on pretty much every issue of contention, most notably agreeing to improve American firms’ access to Korea’s automotive and pharmaceutical markets while restricting their own exports of steel to the United States by nearly one-third. In exchange, the Koreans received the first permanent waiver to the Trump administration’s until-now unrelated issue of steel and aluminum tariffs. America wins! Hooray for Trump!
In addition, Trump has personally made it clear he has little intention of formally signing off on the deal until after the North Korean situation is resolved, insuring South Korea must follow the American preferences on any subsequent arrangements with Kim Jung Un, rather than the other way around. Throwing our weight around and dealing tough. Why hasn't the US State Department been doing this for decades? Why did they make losing deals time and time again?
It’s the first formalized, publicly-declared instance of American foreign policy coming full circle. During the Soviet standoff the Americans made the global oceans safe for all and kept the American market open to the alliance, in essence trading some of its economic power in order to purchase a security alliance. But the Cold War is nearly three decades gone now, and until recently the Americans had yet to update their strategic policy. As such, the post-Cold War global economic boom was largely a result of the Americans continuing to pay for a global system without getting anything in return. That disconnect was in part responsible for America’s recoiling from the world and the rise of Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump.

Funny, but these are our trading partner allies, the first to buckle to P.Trump's tariff threat, DPRK peace mongers and will be the first to squeal when Seoul is overrun.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] There is great significance in Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ...Crown Prince of Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... as of 2016.... ’s visit to the US that goes beyond the close political relations between Riyadh and Washington as well as the military and economic agreements. It relates to changes sweeping through Saudi Arabia, which have picked up pace since King Salman ...either the largest species of Pacific salmon or the current Sheikh of the Burnin' Sands, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Lord of Most of the Arabians.... bin Abdulaziz became ruler in 2015.
Through his press interviews, speeches and political stances, Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been altering the stereotypical image of Saudi Arabia in the foreign media, which usually presents the country as medieval state that possesses a lot of wealth and exports gunnies around the world!
The modern response of Saudi Arabia, particularly when dealing with Western media is not based on hostility and rejection, but is based on the concept of dialogue and correcting the latter’s misconceptions.
Saudi Arabia is not ashamed of admitting its past mistakes and admits there have been hard-line voices promoting hatred and takfir. However the crown prince has stated clearly: "We will eliminate turbans now and immediately." These "terrorists" would not have a place in the new Saudi Arabia, because it is a country that respects differences and diversity and renounces violence.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman was quite candid in his interview on CBS channel’s "60 minutes" program, in which he talked about how after 1979 "we were victims (of extremism), especially my generation."
The victims ‐ whom the Prince is referring to ‐ are those who have been under the sway of Islamic sahwa and takfiri ...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who most be killed... Salafism. Consequently, they were lured by militias like al-Qaeda, al-Nusra ...formally Jabhat an-Nusrah li-Ahli al-Sham (Support Front for the People of the Levant), also known as al-Qaeda in the Levant. They aim to establish a pan-Arab caliphate. Not the same one as the Islamic State, though .. ... front and ISIS which exploited their religious enthusiasm, as well as the conservative and strict way in which they were raised. It was thus easy to exploit them to promote a fundamentalist doctrine and carry out terrorist operations.
The importance of such a frank approach is that it rejects the premise of those who criticize Saudi Arabia thus making them incapable of attacking it like they used to do. The politicianship is now openly talking about the "the hard-line era" and criticizing it. Moreover, it is striving diligently to get out of that mindset, confront the issues of this era, and create a different environment based on civilized living, modernity and belief in individuals’ right to choose their way of life without constraints.
Saudi Arabia faces up to its problems bravely and does not feel ashamed about it. The solution to any problem starts by admitting it, thoroughly diagnosing it, knowing its causes and then uprooting or removing it effectively.
The power of the new rhetoric allows Saudi Arabia to forge non-traditional alliances and makes western public figures support Saudi politics and the ongoing change and reformation process as they began to see practical procedures and a modern language without justification or veneration that suggests a qualitative shift which will affect the entire Gulf and Middle East region.

Two weeks before Christmas, I had a 9-millimeter pistol concealed in my waistband and a rifle with two 30-round magazines in the passenger seat beside me. I was driving down from the mountains to meet a fellow I didn’t know at a Cracker Barrel off I-40 in the North Carolina foothills. He was looking to buy a Kel-Tec Sub-2000, and I had one for sale. Other than that, I didn’t know him from Adam except for a few messages back and forth on Facebook.
Baghdad (Iraqinews.com) ‐ Iraqi President Fuad Masum has stressed that both Baghdad and Erbil are now on good terms following a few months’ conflict over a referendum Kurdistan Region held in September for independence from Iraq.
In an interview with the London-based al-Hayat newspaper, Masum said there were "calm and unannounced talks between Baghdad Erbil" over the past period to solve pending issues, stressing that ties between the Federal and Kurdish governments "were back to normal".
"The two sides (referring to Baghdad and Erbil) need each other and none of them can get along without the other," Masum said, stressing that both governments are based in the same country and have the same interests.
He also hailed as a "good step" a decision recently taken by the federal government to send salaries to Kurdish employees working in the health and education sectors.

[NEWS24] Five Cameroon ...a long, narrow country that fills the space between Nigeria and Chad on the northeast, CAR to the southeast. Prior to incursions by Boko Haram nothing ever happened there... ian soldiers have been killed in an attack on a military post in the far north of the country, sources told AFP on Tuesday.
The five, one of whom was an officer, were killed on Monday night in the village of Sagme, close to the Nigerian border and the Lake Chad region, according to relatives and local sources. Three other soldiers were maimed.
No one has grabbed credit for the killings but the area has seen many incursions by the Nigerian jihadist group Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... in the past.
The Cameroonian army has not commented.
Cameroon, along with Chad and Niger, has joined a military effort by Nigeria to crush Boko Haram, a krazed killer movement opposed to Western influence and seeking an Islamic state based on Sharia law, but the countries have increasingly seen the conflict spread across their borders.

[Dhaka Tribune] Rangpur Special Court’s missing Special Public Prosecutor Rathish Chandra Bhowmik was killed on the night of March 29, Director General of RAB Benazir Ahmed told a press briefing on Wednesday.
Benazir said that Rathish’s wife Deepa Bhowmik and her lover were involved in the murder.
"We think that Rathish was killed on the basis of family conflicts and his wife’s extramarital affair," said Benazir.
"After interrogating Deepa Bhowmik, we came to know that the plan for Rathish’s murder was hatched two months ago," he continued. "However, corruption finds a dozen alibis for its evil deeds... it could be not executed till March 29 because of various reasons."
According to RAB-13 Acting Commander Maj Gen Armeen Rabbi, Rathish’s corpse was recovered based on his wife’s and her alleged lover’s confessions.
At around 11pm on Tuesday, RAB picked up Deepa from her house. During her interrogation, she confessed that her husband’s body had been hidden in a construction site owned by her alleged lover’s brother, Khademul Islam Jafri, in the Mohallapara area of Tajhat, Rangpur.
Deepa and Jafri accompanied RAB to recover Rathish’s body, which was covered in a sack and stowed under the construction site.

[IsraelTimes] US President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... the past week has spoken of pulling out of Syria "very soon." But American forces have been setting up new front-line positions outside the strategic northern town of Manbij, west of the Euphrates River.
The area is the scene of a tense standoff where US-backed Kurdish-led forces who hold Manbij face Ottoman Turkish-backed Syrian fighters. The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire.... has vowed to retake Manbij and other Kurdish-held territory along the Syrian-Ottoman Turkish border; the US troops stationed here are a key reason why they are holding back.

First of all, Peterson is more than a state politico. She’s Vice Chairwoman of the Kommie National Committee.

I think of BLM picking the absolute worst cases of Police vs Thug violence to rally behind eventually convincing Americans that perhaps the issue is not so bad if these are the best cases they can get.
Then I look at the last two "mass shootings" and I see a lot of authority figure failures that could have stopped the thing at multiple levels and think perhaps the issue is not so bad if these are the best cases they can get.

You got polls and you got polls. There are the polls that CBS and the rest of them report to demoralize the opposition. Then there are the internal polls that tell the truth...at least as near as they can come to it.

[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Pak military officials are saying that the country has no influence over Afghan Taliban ...Arabic for students... as they have emphasize that the group will not participate in peace talks on Pakistain’s request.
A front man for the military of Pakistain Gen. Asif Ghafoor has said "Pakistain is contributing and supporting the grinding of the peace processor in Afghanistan."
Speaking to a private TV channel, Gen. Ghafoor further added that "We have contributed as much as we can and will continue to do so."
In regards to the key role Pakistain could play to encourage Taliban to participate in peace, Gen. Ghafoor said "Pakistain Army has never said that it has influence on Taliban."
"It’s not that we’ll tell Taliban to negotiate and they’ll come to the table. We don’t have influence over them," he said.
This comes as the Taliban group has so far refrained from participation in direct peace talks with the Afghan government and insists on direct talks with the US.
On the other hand, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Alice Wells of the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs told news hounds last month that President Ghani offered a dignified process during the Kabul Process-II summit.
"This is not a surrender that’s being offered to the Taliban, but a dignified process for reaching a political framework. And again, he emphasized that this is negotiations without preconditions, a process that would lead to a cessation of violence, halt the ties with terrorism, and respect for the Afghanistan constitution," she added.

A wise decision. Though going back home, settling in Mexico, or continuing on without the protection of the group will each have a different set of unpleasant risks. Perhaps next time it would be better to ignore the siren song of the activists.
[AFP] A caravan of Central American migrants colonists whose trek across Mexico infuriated President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... has decided not to travel to the US border, leaders said Tuesday.
"We will wrap up our work in Mexico City," said Irineo Mujica, the head of the migrant advocacy group People Without Borders (Pueblo sin Fronteras).
"We have support teams at the border if there are people who need assistance there, but they would have to travel on their own," he told AFP in the town of Matias Romero, in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca.
The just over 1,000 migrants colonists who currently make up the caravan -- many traveling in families of up to 20 people -- have been camped in the southern town since the weekend, deciding their next move in the face of daily attacks from Trump.
The Republican president vowed to send the US military to secure the border and threatened to axe the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) if Mexico did not stop the caravan.

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iraq has not carried out military operations against Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... snuffies in neighboring Syria, the defense ministry said on Wednesday as speculations grow about a possible Iraqi action against the snuffies beyond the borders.
Ministry front man Tahseen Ibrahim told Almaalomah website that "security forces have not conducted any military operation inside the Syrian borders, and media reports about that are untrue".
According to Ibrahim, "the federal government has started tracking ISIS (IS) elements on the intelligence level by sharing information with other countries". He added that Iraq is currently "engaged in a broad cooperation with regional countries, sharing intelligence information on the activity and presence of runawayISIS elements".
Earlier this week, London-based The New Arab said elite Iraqi forces and U.S. commando teams were carrying out special operations targeting IS leaders inside Syria.
Also recently, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said in a weekly briefing that his country had ended IS’s presence on its soil, and that plans were there to start the stage of chasing the snuffies in Syria.
Baghdad (Iraqinews.com) – Iraqi security forces launched on Wednesday a military operation to hunt for dormant Islamic State (IS) militants in Diyala governorate, managing to kill a senior leader along with seven of his aides, security sources were quoted as saying.
“Acting upon accurate intelligence reports, Iraqi troops killed Abu Nabil al-Iraqi, the mastermind of several terrorist attacks launched by Islamic State, and seven of his aides in a military operation in northeastern Diyala,” Shafaq News quoted the sources as saying.
Al-Iraqi, according to the sources, was in charge of “providing the militant group with financial and logistic support to target security forces in Diyala.”
Count up the number of ears, divide by two and round up to the nearest whole number, then compare to the number of noses. Whichever number is higher wins.
Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Several Islamic State members were killed and injured as result of explosion of bombs planted by the militant group on the borders of Salahuddin province, a local source from Diyala said.
“Islamic State members fell into a trap made by the militant group, which planted explosives at the outskirts of Mutaibija region, on borders between Diyala and Salahuddin. Some of them killed and injured, as per the preliminary information,” the source told AlSumaria News on Wednesday.
“The explosives are traps made by the militants to encounter progress of security troops,” the source, who preferred anonymity, said, describing it as the tool used by IS at areas, where the militants exist.
Mutaibija has complicated terrain, with numerous hills that serve as a good hideout for militants. Occasional attacks have been witnessed there by Islamic State against government and paramilitary troops deployments since Iraqi forces, backed by a U.S.-led coalition and PMUs, launched a major offensive to retake areas occupied by IS since 2014.

According to the Syria-based news site, the Syrian Army gave Jaish al-Islam, today, a deadline to surrender the eastern Qalamoun towns of Jayroud, al-Mansourah, al-Nasariyah, al-Rahbiyah, and al-TnahJayroud, al-Mansourah, al-Nasariyah, al-Rahbiyah, and al-Atnah.
No date was released by Damascus Now regarding the deadline.
A military source in Damascus recently informed al-Masdar that the Russian Reconciliation Center had postponed talks with Jaish al-Islam in the eastern Qalamoun.
The reason for the Russian postponement was due to the ongoing evacuation of the East Ghouta region; they will shift their attention to the eastern Qalamoun shortly after the last Jaish al-Islam murderous Moslems leave Douma.

[DAWN] Bloody Karachi ...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... police on Wednesday locked away ... anything you say can and will be used against you, whether you say it or not... a seminary teacher in Karachi over charges of rape and blackmail. Getting porked by a holy man, y'see, makes you holy too.
Korangi SHO Inayatullah Marwat said the teacher had allegedly raped a girl at the seminary he taught at, and later blackmailed her parents with videos of her. Putting the Islamic pork to the girl can be denied after a few days, once the evidence dissipates. It's pretty hard to deny videos.
The police official told Dawn that on the complaint of the girl's father police have registered First Information Report (FIR) under section 376 (punishment for rape) of Pakistain Penal Code (PPC) and arrested the nominated suspect ‐ a 60-year old religious teacher. Another dirty old holy man.
The accused demanded money from the complainant and threatened to defame him by making the video public if money was not paid, said the Korangi SHO. "Pay up, or I'll have the wench stoned! Nyahahahaha!"
That’s how they say “Mwahahahah!” in Urdu.
The suspect reportedly gave Koran lessons to children in a seminary located in Korangi-3 area of the metropolis. "Hey, baby! Want a few Koran lessons? Heh heh heh!"
"[SLAP!] I'm not that kind of girl!"
The SHO pointed out that the incident took place four years ago and the girl is now married and has a son. By whom?

[Al Jazeera] Distraught relatives of children killed in a government air raid targeting Taliban ...Arabic for students... fighters in Afghanistan's Kunduz province have rejected official claims that no non-combatants were killed in the attack as "dishonest".
A religious school in the Dasht-e-Archi district of the northern province was hit late on Monday.
The Afghan government said the raids targeted a Taliban gathering, but witnesses and local officials maintained that at the time of the attack, a Dastaar Bandi ceremony - an event celebrating young men completing the memorisation of the Koran - was taking place at the school.
There are conflicting reports over the number of people killed in the attack, and under which circumstances.
A district official said a total of 70 people - including children and top Taliban Überstürmbannführers - were killed, while witnesses put the corpse count to at least 100. Nematullah Temori, front man for the provincial governor, said seven non-combatants were killed in the attack.
But General Mohammad Radmanish, front man for the defence ministry, said that according to their intelligence, no civilians were present at the time of the air raid.
He told Al Jazeera that the air raid targeted a Taliban gathering where members of the group were discussing plans to capture Kunduz city.
"The Taliban were gathered in a room planning their next move to take over Kunduz city.
"We have surveillance footage of gunnies and pictures of Taliban leaders in the area that was attacked," he said, adding that 18 Taliban Überstürmbannführers were killed in the raid.
'Civilians not killed'
Radmanish said the civilians killed in the attack could be the result of "an attack we are not aware of".
"The government is investigating the death of these civilians."
Radmanish also said that the civilians admitted into hospitals were hit by bullets, a claim denied by the father of one of the victims.
"My son, a 13-year-old, had finished his Koran and was being recognised at the ceremony. He was well-dressed and was very happy upon his accomplishment," Abdul Khalid told Al Jazeera.
"His body had no signs of bullet wounds. He was killed in the air raid, not by firing.
"My son is dead now, and I buried him yesterday. I don't understand why would they attack children? We need to know the truth," he said, calling the government "dishonest".

[FOX] President Trump signed a proclamation Wednesday night to send the National Guard to the southern border immediately, a senior White House official told Fox News, in response to what the administration described as an "unacceptable" flow of drugs, criminal activity and illegal immigrants.
Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said at the White House press briefing that the signing would be done in conjunction with governors and that the administration hoped the deployment would begin "immediately."
"Despite a number of steps this administration has taken...we continue to see unacceptable levels of illegal drugs, dangerous gang activity transnational criminal organizations and illegal immigration flow across our border," she said.
"The president has directed that the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security work together with our governors to deploy our National Guard to our southwest border to assist the border patrol," she said. "The president will be signing a proclamation to that effect today."
Details about what the National Guard would do and how many would be deployed and for how long were not immediately disclosed.
Under the George W. Bush administration, deploying the National Guard to the border cost $415 million dollars.

Do we have sufficient resources to protect both:

...well some states (looking at you Texas) has a militia to back them up when the Guard is federalized.
Some states have enough former military who can volunteer for state militia duty. Mainly used for corridor and point defense. Just have to be sworn in to be covered by various public immunities as already addressed by SCOTUS. Report to your local sheriff.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund.... will continue its operation in Syria until Kurdish forces leave Syria’s Manbij region, the country’s President Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey... said on Wednesday.
"I would like to repeat that unless we ensure security in all the regions controlled by the YPG [the Kurdish People’s Protection Units] first of all, in Manbij, we will not stop," Erdogan said at the trilateral Russia-Turkey-Iran summit on Syria.
The president noted that the three guarantor states’ leaders agreed on the necessity to preserve Syria’s territorial integrity. He mentioned that they also had worked out some steps on Syrian settlement, however, without providing details.
Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin ...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances... , Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Erdogan held their second trilateral meeting on Syrian settlement in Ankara. Iran, Russia, and Turkey are the three guarantor states of the ceasefire in Syria, which has been mired in a violent civil war since 2011, and active participants of the Astana format of the Syrian reconciliation.
On March 28, the Ottoman Turkish National Security Council warned that Ankara would push its operation in the northern district of Afrin further to Manbij, if the Kurdish YPG forces, supported by the United States, did not leave the region. Turkey considers YPG militia to be linked to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), listed as a terrorist organization by Ankara.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The head of district state administration of the Iraqi city of Sinjar, Mehma Xelil, told Sputnik that members of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) officially left the territory of Sinjar, near Iraq’s northern border, April 1.
According to Xelil, the PKK has now officially retreated from Sinjar.
"[On April 1], the PKK officially left our region in compliance with the demands of Sinjar residents and headed towards Syria along with its equipment and heavy armament. The exact number of PKK members who have retreated hasn’t been estimated," the official told Sputnik.
"The government of Iraqi Kurdistan, Baghdad and the people of Sinjar demanded that the PKK leave the territory of the city and we are grateful that they have complied with the demand," Xelil said.
He added that the PKK has decided to retreat due to the fact that Sinjar residents are capable of ensuring their own security.
"This step will contribute to safeguarding the security of Sinjar," the official stressed.
Last week, a representative of the Peshmerga, the Kurdish military forces in Iraqi Kurdistan, told Sputnik that claims by the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) about having retreated from Sinjar were a ruse, despite a number of key political and military figures saying that the PKK has completely retreated and that government forces and Kurdish Peshmerga units had taken their place.

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) Five Islamic State members were killed in a security checkpoint, southwest of Kirkuk, the pro-government paramilitary troops said on Wednesday.
A statement by the media service of al-Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces) said, “Intelligence of the 16th brigade, part of the northern axis forces, set up an ambush for Islamic State militants in a village in al-Rashad town, southwest of Kirkuk.”
The operation, according to the statement, “left five Islamic State members killed. Two of them were recognized. They were senior leaders Ali Jamil Hussein and Duham Jaishi Mutallak, who is the nephew of the IS Emir there in the region.”
Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) The pro-government paramilitary troops have denied news that Kurdish troops accessed Kirkuk province, saying that remarks made by the Pentagon is an attempt to stir controversy among people in the province.
“Security troops, along with al-Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces) are fully in control of Kirkuk province,” Ali al-Husseini, spokesperson for the PMFs in the northern axis, told Almaalomah website on Wednesday. “Lt.Gen. Abdul Amir Yarallah, commander of Joint Operation, visited Kirkuk today and highlighted necessity to preserve security there.”
“The recent remarks by Pentagon over Peshmerga accessing Kirkuk are incorrect,” Husseini said. “What was circulated is an attempt to stir controversy among people in Kirkuk.”
News reports quoted a source from U.S. Pentagon, earlier today, as saying that special forces of Peshmerga accessed Kirkuk, after coordination with Baghdad.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Iraqi Armed Forces carried out a special operation this week that targeted a high ranking commander of the so-called Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. [KCNAWATCH.CO] Rodong Sinmun - 70 years have elapsed since the April 3 Popular Uprising on Jeju Island.
The April 3 Popular Uprising was a righteous anti-U.S., anti-fascist resistance to oppose the U.S. imperialists' colonial enslavement policy in south Korea and their moves for national division and achieve democracy of society and national reunification.
The south Korean people do not allow their aspiration and demand, democratic rights and livelihood to be trampled down by the U.S. and the pro-American conservative forces. They are turning out to decisively punish the aggressors and traitors.
Just is their struggle to uproot the evils of the conservatives and realize the dream of new politics and new society.
70 years have passed since the April 3 Popular Uprising on Jeju Island in south Korea. Independence and democracy of the south Korean society and national reunification, so ardently desired by the uprisers, should be realized without fail.
The conservative group of south Korea is making last-ditch efforts to seek a way for revival while insulting the April 3 Popular Uprising as "riot by the leftist forces" and justifying its crime-woven history. A severe punishment should be given to the satanic group which is betraying the nation, beautifying the pro-U.S. sycophancy and fascist dictatorship and seeking a way out in confrontation with the fellow countrymen.

[Al Jazeera] The controversial jailing of former Bangladesh Prime Minister the loathesome Khaleda Zia Three-term PM of Bangla, widow of deceased dictator Ziaur Rahman, head of the Bangla Nationalist Party, an apparent magnet for corruption ... and the state persecution of dissent have raised fears that the next parliamentary election could turn into a violent sham.
Fear of a 2014 repeat, when the parliamentary elections were boycotted by almost all the opposition parties and marred by large-scale violence and killings, runs high in Bangladesh as the ruling Awami League (AL) government faces allegations of a concerted persecution of its opponents.
While activists and political workers opposed to the government live under an increasing threat of being jugged Drop the rod and step away witcher hands up! or worse, there is widespread concern, even among the common people, over what lies ahead in an election year.
Parliamentary elections in Bangladesh are due by December.
Nadia Tabassum Khan, an employee of a multinational company in Dhaka, told Al Jazeera that the Awami League has suppressed all dissent to such an extent that she doesn't think "anyone would dare to protest against them".
Hasan Habib is the owner of a real estate company based in Dhaka. He says "the enmities between the two leading political parties" have made the voting process "a nearly impossible task".
Enforced disappearance
Since the controversial imprisonment of Bangladesh's opposition leader and two-time Prime Minister Khaleda Zia last month, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the government of Prime Minister the loathesome Sheikh Hasina ...Bangla dynastic politician and current Prime Minister of Bangladesh. She has been the President of the Bangla Awami League since the Lower Paleolithic. She is the eldest of five children of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding father of Bangla. Her party defeated the BNP-led Four-Party Alliance in the 2008 parliamentary elections. She has once before held the office, from 1996 to 2001, when she was defeated in a landslide. She and the head of the BNP, Khaleda Zia show such blind animosity toward each other that they are known as the Battling Begums.. to reject allegations of turning into an authoritarian regime.
Zia was sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for five years on February 8 for embezzling 21 million takas ($253,000) in foreign donations meant for a charity named after former President Ziaur Rahman, Zia's husband. Her elder son and heir apparent, Tarique Rahman ...the elder son of former President of Bangladesh Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam, and Khaleda Zia, former Prime Minister of Bangladesh. He is the Senior Vice Chairperson of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). His nickname is Pino. There are allegations that Pino took a rakeoff from every foreign investment into the country while Mom was in office... , and four others were also sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Nearly a month later Zia was granted bail. However, it's easy to be generous with someone else's money... the country's Supreme Court stayed the bail within a week "without assigning any reason", effectively putting the 72-year-old leader in jail till May 8, when the next hearing on her bail application is expected to be held.
The arrest and subsequent imprisonment of the former prime minister, which Zia's Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) called the Hasina government's conspiracy to keep the opposition party out of politics, led to widespread violence in cities across Bangladesh, with BNP supporters clashing with police and ruling party members.

Mr. Soros has plenty of his own money. There was absolutely no need to add money borrowed from China to it.
[FOX] The Obama administration sent U.S. taxpayer funds to a group backed by billionaire George Soros to fund left-wing activities in Albania, a conservative watchdog group says.
The group, Judicial Watch, obtained 32 pages of records from the Justice Department this week through a May 2017 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the State Department and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID.)
The new documents show USAID funds were sent through the agency’s Civil Society Project to back Soros’ left-wing "East West Management Institute" through USAID's "Justice for All" campaign. USAID provided $8.8 million in 2016 to that campaign.
The Justice for All Project was designed to strengthen the effectiveness and transparency of the courts in Albania. The project aimed to increase citizens’ trust in the judiciary and a more efficient judicial system, according to USAID.

Where the heck has Soros not meddled in a countries internal political activities? The Open Society has meddled in the Ukraine, Macedonia, Romaine, Hungary, pushed unlimited immigration from North Africa and the M.E. into Europe, supported the anti-Brexits, supported "Ready for Hillary in 2016" in the U.S. to name a few. Indeed the globalists have tried to destroy the sovereignty of many, many countries--successfully in many cases. One might think Soros was in bed with that clown Brennan.

I don't have the primary sources, but this tidbit is interesting, picked up from a blog: "St. Thomas Aquinas took a practical approach to prostitution: it was "...filthy and against the law of God," but that a prostitute should always be fairly paid for her services. "It is lawful for her to keep it and also to give it to charity even though it is acquired by an unlawful action...." But he also stipulated that prostitutes were bound to pay their tithes to the Church, "...only after the individuals in question have done penance."
I would have thought that splitting one's proceeds with the church penance enough.
[DAWN] Pakistain Tehrik-e-Insaf ...a political party in Pakistan. PTI was founded by former Pakistani cricket captain and philanthropist Imran Khan. The party's slogan is Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem, each of which is open to widely divergent interpretations.... (PTI)’s central leader Shafqat Mahmood on Tuesday alleged that JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman Deobandi holy man, known as Mullah Diesel during the war against the Soviets, his sympathies for the Taliban have never been tempered by honesty ... and former Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Akram Khan Durrani had illegally taken over 1,200 kanals of land allocated for families of deaders and demanded that the matter should be investigated by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Speaking at a news conference at the National Press Club here, Mr Mahmood, who is also the head of the PTI’s anti-corruption cell, said that in 2001 the KP government had given 140,624 kanals (17,578 acres) of land to Pakistain Army in Dera Ismail Khan ... the Pearl of Pashtunistan ... for families of Kargil ... three months of unprovoked Pak aggression, over 4000 dead Paks, another victory for India ... deaders, and other deserving serving and retired officials of the army.
"As per terms and conditions signed by the KP government and the GHQ, only legal heirs of the deaders and deserving army personnel were entitled to the allotment. However, if you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning... in 2002 when the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) government came to power in KP and Mr Durrani became the chief minister, they both managed to get 600 kanals of land each and transferred the land in the names of their front men," he said.
"In 2008 when the Awami National Party founded by Abdul Wali Khan in 1986. Part of the PPP-led cabinet 2008-13. The ANP is considered left wing, advocating for secularism, democratic socialism, public sector government, and economic egalitarianism.... and Pakistain Peoples Party formed the government in KP, the Revenue Minister Makhdum Zada Mureed Kazim from D.I. Khan also started efforts, like Maulana Fazl and Mr Durrani, to get the share in the land. In 2010-11, Mr Kazim illegally got allotted 150 kanals of land to his front men.
"In 2009/10, the NAB, KP, started an inquiry into the illegal allotment of the land to Maulana Fazl and Mr Durrani. Later, a second inquiry was started against Mr Kazim," he said.
Mr Mahmood said that NAB not only locked away Drop the heater, Studs, or you're hist'try! Mr Kazim, but he had been facing the case since then, but Maulana Fazl and Mr Durrani were neither arrested nor cases against them were pursued or taken up because they politically managed them.
He urged the current chairman of NAB to look into the issue and explain why cases were not pursued against the two leaders.
"Mr Durrani has a number of properties in different areas of the country and his property does not match with his known sources of income so NAB should initiate cases against both personalities because they have deprived families of deaders from their due rights," the PTI leader alleged.
He said that allegations should be investigated so that the land was handed over to the deserving people.

Is that merely negligent or "criminally negligent?"
This isn't negligence. They're de facto victims of blackmail since they reasonably have to assume that all dirty secrets stored on congressional IT infrastructure is in the hands of the Pakistanis/Chinese.
Negligence may have played a role when the Awans got initial access. OTOH some foreign player might have applied pressure on key decision makers even then, using information obtained by other means.
[DAWN] The front man for Punjab 1.) Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard
2.) A province of Pakistain ruled by one of the Sharif brothers
3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots.... government, Malik Ahmed Khan, said on Wednesday that arresting Tehrik-e-Labbaik Pakistain (TLP) chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi and other Tehrik-e-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah (TLYRA) leaders is proving to be difficult for the provincial authorities. Oh do tell.
The TLP chief and TLYRA leaders were declared proclaimed offenders by an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad on Tuesday. "Round 'em up, chief! No excuses!"
Speaking to DawnNewsTV regarding the ongoing TLYRA protest at Lahore's Data Darbar, Khan said Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah is in constant contact with the protesters and is trying to convince them to abandon the sit-in. He said the government wants the protest to conclude through dialogue. Preferred dialogue: "Break it up! Go about your business!"
"Okay."
Yesterday, Rizvi had threatened to hold nationwide protests if the government fails to fulfill the terms agreed in the controversial army-brokered agreement during the Faizabad sit-in last year. Actual dialogue: "Break it up! Go about your business!"
"Blasphemy! Kill the infidel!"
"Hey! I didn't... Aaaaiiieee! I am undone!"
But "the demands made in the Faizabad agreement cannot be fulfilled as the Islamabad High Court has already declared the agreement null and void," Khan told DawnNewsTV. "As a point of law, if you and him talk, that don't apply to me and the rest of the nation."
The contentious Faizabad agreement had led to the resignation of the then law minister Zahid Hamid in return for the TLYRA promising they would issue no fatwa against him. The entire episode is a good example of rule by street mob.
Leaders at the protest had announced on Tuesday that if the conditions stated in the Faizabad agreement ‐ which had become a cause of much controversy for carrying signatures of an army general as a mediator ‐ are not met, they will announce their future course of action via a presser on Wednesday.

[DAWN] Chinese engineers and other staffers, engaged in the construction of M4 Motorway from Bahawalpur to Faisalabad ...formerly known as Lyallpur, the third largest metropolis in Pakistain, the second largest in Punjab after Lahore. It is named after some Arab because the Paks didn't have anybody notable of their own to name it after... , attacked coppers deployed for their security after the foreign workers were barred from leaving their camp's premises without a security squad, DawnNewsTV reported on Wednesday. Hey, it's Pakistain. You don't like somebody, you thrash them.
Several mobile phone clips doing rounds on social media show Chinese nationals approaching the police officials in a provocative manner and attacking them. A video showed a Chinese national standing on the bonnet of a police van, another video showed several Chinese nationals trashing coppers and some local people in plain clothes. Then they ride by with two or three friends on a motorcycle and shoot you.
According to police officials, Chinese engineers and other officials wanted to leave their camp in Khanewal and visit a "red-light" area on Tuesday night. They resorted to agitation when denied permission to leave the camp without being accompanied by security officials. If you survive, you can propose marriage to one of their sisters. When you get turned down, you give her a sulfuric acid shower.
Later, the Chinese engineers also cut power supply to the police camp established within the main construction camp, the officials added. A jirga will ultimately solve the dispute by awarding one or two of your sisters in wana marriage.
On Wednesday morning, the Chinese workers stopped work on the project and abandoned heavy machinery and vehicles on various roads in the area. They also resorted to violence and attacked police in their camp. Your sister will whistle at good-looking guys, so her husband will cut her nose off.
That'll really get you cheezed, so you'll thrash the bastard.

:What happens to Islam after Mecca gets nuked?"
Who would nuke it? Certainly not Muslims, they love the place. Certainly not Christians as they are currently dismantling their religion for strange reasons.
I'd wager India or Israel would consider it if faced with extinction at the hands of Islamist but otherwise they are too civilized.
That leaves China and although they have Muslim problems I don't think the problems are really that much of a concern for them that they'd take it that far.

While the U.S.-based website posts a rate of 251,000 bolivars per dollar, DolarPro has it at 362,000 and e-wallet AirTM is selling dollars for 313,000 bolivars each.
"It's about confidence, and Venezuelans feel that their dollars are worth more than DolarToday rates," said Henkel Garcia, the director of the Caracas consultancy Econometrica. "In a market lacking information, new indicators will appear, and consumers will ultimately determine their sell price."
With Venezuelans having limited access to official exchange markets, they're reliant on websites that track the rate and small exchange platforms to get a sense of what their money is worth. As DolarToday falls out of favor, dollar auctions on Whatsapp groups, sites that host virtual wallets and cryptocurrency exchanges are seen as a better marker of true value. Amid skyrocketing inflation and a massive depreciation of the Venezuelan currency, even local businesses often demand foreign currency for nearly everything they offer.
Any way you count it, the bolivar is worth massively less than just five years ago. The current DolarToday rate has it down 99.99 percent in that time span. Meanwhile inflation in the country has been running at an annual rate of 6,147 percent. "We need more price control!"
Officials at DolarToday didn't immediately respond to emails requesting information about how it calculates exchange rates and why it differs significantly from its competitors.

Tom Shipman, Omeger Gray6606. He’d never been in the Navy — that was his real name. I somehow did not know both those things until a few months before he died. He was a good, dear man who could be amazingly silly.

Thank you TW for the information. Tom may be the same person who frequented other patriot blogs that were established after 9/11, over the years. He had a unique sense of humor there as well. I look forward to meeting him in person in a greater place soneday.
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] A local Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... leader was killed along with another Lion of Islam in a premature kaboom triggered by an Improvised Explosive Device in eastern Laghman ...It has a population of about 445,600, which is multi-ethnic and mostly a rural society. During the invasions of Alexander the Great, the area was known as Lampaka, wich is apparently Olde Macedonian for Laghman. The city of Mihtarlam serves as the bucolic capital of the province. The population is half Pashtun, the remainder Tadjik and Pashai. It had a repution for great wealth until it was conquered in the tenth century by Abu Mansur Sabuktigin.
He conquered it and set fire to the places in its vicinity which were inhabited by infidels, and demolishing the idol-temples, he established Islam in them, He marched and captured other cities and killed the polluted wretches, destroying the idolatrous and gratifying the Musulmans. After wounding and killing beyond all measure, his hands and those of his friends became cold in counting the value of the plundered property.
After that it was mostly notable for the production of dirt, rocks, and holy men. province of Afghanistan.
The provincial government media office in a statement said the two bully boyz were looking to plan an Improvised Explosive Device on a roadside frequented by the Afghan forces in Alisheng district.
The statement further added that the explosives went off prematurely as they were busy planting it, leaving two people dead, including a local leader of the Taliban identified as Sayeda Gul.
According to the governor’s office, the bully boyz killed in the kaboom were involved in major terrorist related activities in this province.
The anti-government armed Lion of Islam groups frequently use explosives materials for the roadside kaboomings and boom-mobileings to target the government staff and security personnel.
However, it's easy to be generous with someone else's money... in majority of such incidents the ordinary civilians are targeted besides such bombings incur casualties to the security personnel and in some cases the Talibs themselves are killed or maimed.
A total of 10,453 civilian casualties ‐ 3,438 people killed and 7,015 injured ‐ were documented in the 2017 Annual Report released last month by the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) and the UN Human Rights Office.
The report further added that the high number of casualties to the civilians were inflicted by suicide kabooms and other attacks using improvised bombs (IEDs).

This was disclosed by Balochistan...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo at a presser here on Tuesday after presiding over a meeting on the law and order situation in the province. Provincial Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti accompanied the chief minister.
"Fazal Haq Ghaibzai, the ring leader of the TTP button mans'>button men, was arrested during a joint operation by police, the Counter Terrorism Department and the Frontier Corps ...a provincial paramilitary force. Total manpower is about 80,000. They are tasked to help local law enforcement in the maintenance of law and order, and to carry out border patrol and a..the Antwerp-based Salafist organization that had campaigned to introduce Sharia law to Belgium before single-handedly making Belgium the highest per capita supplier of jihadis to Syria in Europe. There was a big trial in Antwerp in 2015, but most of those convicted were in absentia...nti-smuggling operations.... on Tuesday night on the basis of intelligence information," Mr Bizenjo said.
He said Ghaibzai had confessed during interrogation that he and five members of his gang had killed some senior coppers and FC personnel in different areas of Quetta.
The chief minister said Ghaibzai was a resident of Quetta and his father was a prayer leader at the mosque of a local school.
Sarfaraz Bugti said Ghaibzai had told interrogators that Raziq Achakzai, an Afghan commander who ran terrorism training camps in Spin Buldak, had provided money to his gang.
"Ghaibzai said Asim Muhammad Hasni, one of his accomplices, used his wife in different terrorist acts and for hiding weapons. He said Pir Ain-uz-Zaman is emir of the TTP Balochistan and the killers’ gang was formed on his order," Mr Bugti added.
He said security forces had found a lead about the suicide kaboom on a Quetta church in December last year and recovered the wireless set that had been in use of traffic sergeant Hafiz Niazi who was killed on Iqbal Road in Quetta.
Mr Bugti said that during the last two months there were threats of suicide attacks in Quetta and other areas of Balochistan, but security forces had foiled over a dozen such attempts and arrested several suspects.
A video of the suspected terrorist was shown to the media in which he said the TTP Balochistan emir’s associates, including his deputy, were based in Spin Boldak.

Representative Nunes and the House Committee should get a Civil order and have US Marshals retrieve the Documents previously requested at DOJ & FBI. Furthermore, POTUS and AG Sessions may wish to have a personal chat with these two gentlemen.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes is threatening another legal fight, this time over the Rosetta Stone of the Russia collusion investigation: The FBI document, (or EC, for Electronic Communication) showing exactly what triggered it.
According to the Daily Wire:
On Wednesday, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) sent a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray that instructed them to produce unredacted copies of the documents that the FBI used as the basis to officially open up its Russia investigation.
It's significant because an FBI investigation of a presidential candidate that was begun right in the middle of a presidential campaign, apparently as an "insurance policy" as the texts of FBI lovebirds Peter Strzok and Lisa Page suggested, is rather unprecedented in a democratic system. If the pretext for the probe were anything but something serious about national security, it would be an FBI abuse of power. The FBI investigation also amounted to the building material that led to the appointment of the Special Counsel and that office's investigation of Russian collusion, something that has frequently thrown the Trump administration into turmoil, and has resulted in firings and indictments of Trump's closest aides.
