Hungarian police arrest 2 French citizens for tearing down Israeli flags honoring Netanyahu’s visit
How rude.
[IsraelTimes] Hungarian police announce the arrest (Hungarian link) of two people yesterday for tearing down 17 Israeli flags lining Budapest’s Széchenyi Chain Bridge in honor of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit, and throwing them into the Danube River.

The alleged perpetrators, two French nationals, were arrested by police on the bridge a few minutes after the incident. After questioning by investigators at Budapest’s Fifth District police station, they have been charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct, vandalism and theft.

Police say they have also arrested two Spanish nationals for misdemeanor vandalism after they broke a Hungarian flag on the bridge one hour later that day.

Arrested Palestinian was planning major terror attack on Jerusalem light rail, say police
[IsraelTimes] Police and Shin Bet agents say they arrested a Palestinian from the Shuafat refugee camp last month whom they suspect of planning to carry out terror attacks.

The suspect, who was arrested by police at the Shin Bet’s behest, reportedly made his own pipe bombs and bought knives for multiple attacks he planned to carry out during the month of Ramadan.

It came to light during the investigation that the suspect planned to plant homemade explosives on the Jerusalem light rail, a bus, or in a restaurant in the southern part of the city. At a later point, he apparently began plotting to carry out a combined ramming and stabbing attack at a Jerusalem bus stop, buying knives and a car as part of his plan.

Prosecutors in the Jerusalem District Attorney’s Office plan to file an indictment against the young man, but the joint police and Shin Bet statement does not specify when.

Hostage families protest outside Netanyahu’s home, marking year and a half since Oct. 7
[IsraelTimes] Hostage families and their supporters are protesting in front of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Jerusalem to mark a year and a half since the October 7, 2023 massacre.

Activists carry photos of the 59 hostages that remain held captive in the Strip.

Erez Adar, whose uncle Tamir Adar was murdered on October 7, urges the prime minister to reach a deal freeing all the hostages in one go.

“It is the most important subject of the day. We need to return everyone, the living for rehabilitation and the dead for burial, in order for us to have a better future here,” he says.

Varda Ben Baruch, whose grandson Edan Alexander is held hostage, evokes the Passover holiday, which demands that “every generation, a person must see himself as if he had come out of Egypt.”

“We say this in the Passover Haggadah. Now is your moment of truth,” she says, addressing Netanyahu. “You are in the United States and you should sit there with President Trump and finish a deal for everyone to get home. We are expecting this.”

Gil Dickmann, whose cousin Carmel Gat was murdered in captivity, warns remaining living hostages are in danger if action isn’t taken immediately for their release.

“President Trump — please. It’s been a year and a half. There’s only one word possible to yell right now — enough, enough of this nightmare,” he says.

Similar demonstrations are also occurring at the homes of several other cabinet ministers.

Lawfare: Gaza war crimes dossier implicating 10 Britons serving in IDF to be submitted to London police — report
[IsraelTimes] British human rights

lawyers are set to file a war crimes complaint today against 10 British citizens serving in the Israel Defense Forces, The Guardian reports.

"British nationals are under a legal obligation not to collude with crimes committed in Paleostine. No one is above the law," Michael Mansfield, one of the lawyers who will hand in the 240-page dossier, tells The Guardian.

"If one of our nationals is committing an offense, we ought to be doing something about it. Even if we can’t stop the government of foreign countries behaving badly, we can at least stop our nationals from behaving badly."

The file will be handed to London’s Metropolitan Police war crimes unit, alleging the troops intentionally killed civilians and aid workers by sniper fire and were involved in indiscriminate attacks on civilian areas, including hospitals.

The suspects, who include dual-nationals as well as officers, remain unnamed due to legal reasons, The Guardian says.

The report covers a period from October 2023 to May 2024 and is being handed in on behalf of the Gazoo

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Over 30 airport workers expelled over suspected Hezbollah ties
[AnNahar] Lebanese authorities have started "curbing Hezbollah’s influence at the Rafik Hariri International Airport," after the Airport Security Apparatus revoked the authorizations of a large number of airport workers who are loyal to Hezbollah, Saudi Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula, largely made up of sand and oil rigs. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual haj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Formerly dictatorial and steeped in Olde Tyme Religion, deferring to Salafist holy men on all issues, it has now done a 180 and is making a serious effort to modernize, so as not to be left in the sand by its Gulf Arab neighbors. The holy men have been shoved to the background and the nation is now still dictatorial but somewhat rational. That doesn't make them trustworthy, but it's a start...
’s Asharq al-Awsat newspaper has reported.

"More than 30 airport workers have been informed of the expiry of the permits granted to them and that it will not be possible to renew them," an informed source at the airport told the daily.

This decision "did not only involve workers who carry travelers’ luggage into and from the airport, but also those who carry luggage into and from planes, in addition to a number of employees who worked at the department of baggage inspection and lost items," the source said.

"The decision represented a shock to those affected by the expulsion, especially that they spent long years working at the airport while enjoying freedom of action and without any accountability," the source added.

These measures are aimed at "enhancing the security of the airport and travelers and weakening Hezbollah’s influence in it to the greatest extent," the source went on to say, noting that those expelled were "Hezbollah’s eyes and ears inside the airport and a main source of the information it used to gather about the movement of travelers from and into the airport."

"Granting them work and airport access permits used to take place following requests and pressure from Hezbollah, and anyone who was not loyal to Hezbollah used to be denied such a permit, which broadened its influence at the airport for long decades," the source added.

A security source meanwhile told Asharq al-Awsat that similar measures will target members and officers from the customs administration, Internal Security Forces and General Security, adding that many are suspected of having facilitated Hezbollah’s transactions over the past period.

Iraq
Iranian proxies in Iraq willing to disarm to avoid conflict with US, commanders and Iraqi officials say
”To His Grandiosity, the honourable, esteemed, and very blond President Trump:

Please, please, please don’t hurt us! We can be good — we promise!!!

Please ignore how we picked on your sweet little army bases all these years…”
[IsraelTimes] Several powerful Iranian-backed militia groups in Iraq are prepared to disarm for the first time to avert the threat of an escalating conflict with the US Trump administration, 10 senior commanders and Iraqi officials tell Rooters.

The move to defuse tensions follows repeated warnings issued privately by US officials to the Iraqi government since Trump took power in January, according to the sources, which include six local commanders of four major militias.

The officials told Baghdad that unless it acted to disband the militias operating on its soil, America could target the groups with Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s, the people add.

Izzat al-Shahbndar, a senior Shi’ite Moslem politician close to Iraq’s governing alliance, tells Rooters that discussions between Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudan

It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
i and several militia leaders are "very advanced," and the groups are inclined to comply with US calls for disarmament.

"The factions are not acting stubbornly or insisting on continuing in their current form," he says, adding that the groups are "fully aware" they could be targeted by the US.

The six militia commanders interviewed in Baghdad and a southern province, who requested anonymity to discuss the sensitive situation, are from the Kataib Hezbollah, Nujabaa, Kataib Sayyed

al-Shuhada, and Ansarullah al-Awfiyaa groups.

"Trump is ready to take the war with us to worse levels, we know that, and we want to avoid such a bad scenario," a commander of Kataib Hezbollah, the most powerful Shi’ite militia, says, who speaks from behind a black face mask and sunglasses.

The commanders say their main ally and patron, Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) military force, had given them its blessing to take whatever decisions they deemed necessary to avoid being drawn into a potentially ruinous conflict with the United States and Israel.

The militias are part of the Islamic Resistance® in Iraq, an umbrella group of about 10 hardline Shi’ite armed factions that collectively command about 50,000 fighters and arsenals that include long-range missiles and anti-aircraft weapons, according to two security officials who monitor militias’ activities.

The Resistance® group, a key pillar of Iran’s network of regional proxy forces, has grabbed credit for dozens of missile and drone attacks on Israel and US forces in Iraq and Syria since the Gazoo

Teen killed in West Bank while throwing stones was US citizen, Palestinian officials say
[IsraelTimes] A Palestinian who the IDF said it killed in the West Bank yesterday when throwing stones at Israeli cars was a 14-year-old Palestinian-American, Palestinian officials say.

The mayor of Turmus Ayya, Adeeb Lafi, told Reuters earlier in the day that Omar Mohammad Rabea, 14, was shot along with two other teenagers by an Israeli settler at the entrance to Turmus Ayya and that the Israeli army pronounced him dead after detaining him.

The Palestinian Authority’s Foreign Ministry condemns the incident as an “extra-judicial killing” by Israeli forces during a raid in the town, saying it was the result of Israel’s “continued impunity.”

“During a counterterrorism activity in the area of Turmus Aya, IDF soldiers identified three terrorists who hurled rocks toward the highway, thus endangering civilians driving,” the army says in a statement.

“The soldiers opened fire toward the terrorists who were endangering civilians, eliminating one terrorist and hitting two additional terrorists.”

The IDF published footage showing the stone-throwing.
An Nahar adds:
The Israeli army said Friday that it shot and killed a Palestinian who threw stones at troops near the occupied West Bank village of Husan, whose mayor told AFP the boy was 17.

The army said that on Thursday evening "several terrorists hurled rocks toward Road 375 adjacent to Husan... Soldiers who were operating in the area responded with fire toward the terrorists, eliminated one terrorist and hit an additional terrorist".

Husan mayor Jamal Sabateen said the army had opened fired on youngsters throwing stones.

IDF targets 2 Hezbollah operatives ‘rebuilding terror infrastructure’ in Lebanon
[IsraelTimes] Trump envoy Morgan Ortagus, in Beirut, discusses disarming Hezbollah; chief of staff says Israel ‘showing initiative and offensive action’

The Israeli military on Sunday said it carried out an Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
in southern Leb
...The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else?...
, killing two, in an attack that targeted Hezbollah operatives who were trying to rebuild "terror infrastructure."

Lebanon’s health ministry confirmed that two people were killed in an Israeli strike on the town of Zibqin in the country’s south, saying that it targeted people operating a bulldozer.

Israel’s military said the two were operating an engineering vehicle, and that they were "attempting to rebuild Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites."

"We are continuing the campaign to strengthen the defenses, while showing initiative and offensive action," IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said at an assessment Sunday on the Lebanon border.

Zamir met with the chief of the Northern Command, Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin, commander of the 91st "Galilee" Regional Division, Brig. Gen. Yuval Gez, and other commanders.

During the assessment, the military said, Zamir "emphasized his instructions that the IDF will not allow civilians to go on hikes over the international border, but only in Israeli territory and in places where hikes were held in the past, in accordance with the security situation."

The latest strike came after visiting US deputy special envoy for the Middle East Morgan Ortagus discussed the situation in southern Lebanon with bigwigs on Saturday.

A Lebanese official said Sunday that Ortagus discussed disarming Hezbollah without setting a deadline during her meetings in Beirut a day earlier.

The Lebanese official, speaking anonymously as they were not authorized to brief the media, said Ortagus discussed "intensifying and speeding up the work of the Lebanese army in dismantling Hezbollah’s military infrastructure, leading to restricting weapons to state hands, without setting a timetable."

Ortagus did not make any official statements during the visit, but Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam described their discussions with the US official as "positive," noting they addressed the situation in south Lebanon and economic reforms.

On Friday, Israel killed a commander in the Hamas
..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,...
terror group in a pre-dawn raid in the south Lebanese port city of Sidon that also killed his adult son and daughter.

A day earlier, Israel’s military said it carried out an airstrike targeting a Hezbollah member in south Lebanon.

On Tuesday, Israel struck south Beirut, killing a Hezbollah Paleostinian liaison officer, in only the second strike on the capital since the November 27 ceasefire.

The strike’s target was Hassan Bdair, a member of Hezbollah’s Unit 3900 and the elite Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

A source close to Hezbollah told AFP that Bdair was "Hezbollah’s deputy head for the Paleostinian file" who was struck when he was "at home with his family." Bdair’s son Ali was also killed, according to the group.
An Nahar reports:
An Israeli drone on Sunday bombed an excavator and a Renault Rapid utility car between the southern towns of Zibqin and al-Shuaitiyeh in the Tyre district, the National News Agency said.

The Health Ministry said the strike killed at least one person.

New batch of Damascus-SDF prisoners to be exchanged Sunday: Advisor
[Rudaw] A new batch of prisoners is scheduled to be exchanged on Sunday between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Damascus administration
…HTS of course, formerly Al Nusra, before that Al Qaeda in Iraq and Syria…
as part of a recent agreement, an advisor to the Kurdish-led northeast Syria (Rojava) administration said.

"The main work now is focused on prisoners," Bedran Ciya Kurd, advisor to the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (DAANES), told Rudaw’s Hussein Omar on Saturday, calling the planned Sunday prisoner exchange "a gesture of goodwill from both sides to build trust."

The SDF and the new leadership in Damascus on Tuesday struck an agreement to exchange all prisoners and keep the SDF-affiliated internal security forces (Asayish) in Aleppo's predominantly Kurdish neighborhoods of Ashrafiyeh and Sheikh Maqsood.

On Thursday, the first exchange of nearly 250 prisoners between the two sides took place.

A day later, Kurdish forces of the People’s Protection Units (YPG) — the backbone of the SDF — began withdrawing from the predominantly Kurdish

SDF chief Mazloum Abdi signed a landmark agreement with Syria’s interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa on March 10 to integrate the SDF into the Syrian state apparatus. The agreement recognizes the Kurds as an integral part of Syria, includes a countrywide ceasefire, and stipulates the return of displaced Syrians to their hometowns.

Britain
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer set to acknowledge popularity of Trump's tariffs as he admits ‘globalization is over'
[NYP] United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer is set to admit that he understands the rationale behind US President Donald Trump’s tariff push, according to a report.

The center-left Starmer will announce on Sunday that he understands the reason why the economic nationalist framework imposed by the Trump tariffs is popular with voters — while arguing that tariffs are still wrong, The Times reported.

"Trump has done something that we don’t agree with but there’s a reason why people are behind him on this," a spokesperson for the Prime Minister said in a statement to the outlet.

"The world has changed, globalization is over and we are now in a new era. We’ve got to demonstrate that our approach, a more active Labour government, a more reformist government, can provide the answers for people in every part of this country," the statement concluded.

Economy
Ignore Democrats' hysteria: Trumponomics is working
[MSN from The Hill] Tariffs, tariffs, tariffs. That is all the media talks about these days, gleeful to see President Trump’s popularity take a hit as he imposes taxes on imports.

Nothing else gets the same attention. Inflation, unemployment claims moving lower? Wait'til tariffs kick in, chants the chorus. Oil prices down? Manufacturing increasing? Money coming in from overseas? But those tariffs...

Given the blowback, why is Trump pushing so hard to raise the fees paid on U.S. imports?

First, because he thinks the U.S. has been treated unfairly over time by our trading partners. Second, because he wants higher tariff revenues to help offset promised tax cuts. And third — most important — because he wants to make it more attractive for companies to manufacture in the U.S.

It would be hard for anyone, even Democrats, to oppose those ambitions. But oppose them they do.

Let’s start with the president wanting to level the trade playing field. Lost in the hysteria about a "trade war" is that many countries have already waged war against the U.S. — and won.

Take Canada, the "nice" neighbor to our north.

GNC stores, guess who owns them ?
[Kootenaijournal] In the nearly six minute video, Harrigan explains how China took control of an American company and positioned itself in the heart of America’s military operations, exposing the U.S. to a significant national security threat.

Harrigan introduced the Military Installation Retail Security Act, a bill he said, "does what should’ve been done a long time ago" to protect America from foreign adversaries.

Below is a portion of Harrigan’s statement:

"What if I told you that there is a company owned by the Chinese Communist Party, independently operating over 80 retail stores on United States military bases?

Let me be clear: a foreign adversary has a physical, ongoing presence on our military installations, inside the wire, with possible access to our personnel and their information.

These stores are not directly monitored by the Department of Defense and they are run with limited federal oversight.

They are independently staffed, supplied, and managed by GNC, a national nutrition and supplement retailer that is now entirely owned and controlled by a hostile federal government.

And every single day, American service members walk through their doors.

They scan their IDs, they swipe their credit cards, they provide phone numbers, emails, and home addresses, they enroll in loyalty programs, some even hand over sensitive health information through supplement consultations.

Victor Davis Hanson: Donald Trump's Just Trade War
[Free Press] President Donald Trump has announced sweeping new tariffs on most goods imported into the U.S. from abroad. His flat 10 percent levy on all imported products and services came into effect on Saturday. Starting Wednesday, American tariffs will rise higher, in some cases quite dramatically so, on the European Union, China, India, Vietnam, and some of our Asian allies such as Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan—which have for decades unabashedly run large trade surpluses.

The resulting 10 percent drop in the stock market over two days last week, to early 2023 levels, has prompted hysteria of the sort not seen since 2008. The more the American Left—not long ago, passionate advocates of Trump-style trade fairness—seeks political advantage through roars of outrage, the more recalcitrant Europe and Asia delude themselves into thinking the blinkered American people surely must prefer the good old days of insidious trade deficits to the current chaos.

So, what is the logic behind the Trump tariffs? Why are they incurring such invective? And why is he willing to take such political risks in a fashion that no prior Republican administration had dared?

Let me explain.

Artist who painted ''worst'' Trump portrait for Colorado State Capitol says 41-year career may be doomed after prez''s criticism
[NYPOST] The artist behind a portrait of Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
in the Colorado State Capitol says her career could be in tatters now that the president has besmirched it on social media.

Sarah Boardman's painting of the president had hung in the Denver building for six years before Trump called it ''purposefully distorted'' and ''truly the worst'' on his Truth Social platform in January, prompting state politicians to yank it off the wall.

Now the artist's 41-year career ''is in danger of not recovering'' from the backlash, Boardman said in a statement on her website on Saturday.
Image of the thing at the link. It isn’t a faithful likeness, I fear. The question is whether President Trump was being kind when he said it was purposefully distorted — the alternative being that she actually thought she nailed it...
''For the 6 years that the portrait hung in the Colorado State Capitol Building Rotunda, I received overwhelmingly positive reviews and feedback,'' Boardman said.
People generally won’t tell an artist they don’t like her work — it feels mean. That’s why there are paid critics, universally hated for their clever viciousness.
''Since President Trump's comments, that has changed for the worst.''

#2  A presidential portrait should look presidential. That one don't. First impression is high school art class or the artists feelings leaked into her work. Given Colorado's politics, that fact that the pic hung in the capitol is more condemnation than accolade.

895! How Ovechkin beat Gretzky and made him remember his Russian roots
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Mikhail Zakharov

[REGNUM] A new page in sports history has been opened: hockey player Alexander Ovechkin, captain of the Washington Capitals, has surpassed the legendary achievement of Wayne Gretzky. Gretzky's record of 894 goals scored stood for 26 years and was repeated on the night of April 5, when Ovechkin scored twice in a match against the Chicago Blackhawks.

And today, in the match with the New York Islanders, the 895th goal was scored. The NHL's "eternal" record has officially fallen!

Just a few years ago, it was almost impossible to imagine that anyone would ever catch up with the famous Canadian. But now Ovechkin has beaten him, and it took Alexander 1,487 games to do so – exactly the same number as Gretzky.

In recent months, almost the entire country has been following his game. Sometimes it seemed that Russia had returned to the 70s and 80s of the last century, when everyone, from boys in yard hockey "boxes" to grandmothers in front of TVs, watched the successes of their favorite teams, and especially the USSR national team.

Ovechkin's game was discussed in kitchens, smoking rooms, on public transport. People who were completely far removed from sports, from whom it was hard to expect interest in hockey, sincerely rooted for him. Because he is, without exaggeration, a great Russian athlete.

To understand the scale of this sporting feat, it is necessary to take into account that the Russian recently missed a record number of games due to injury. That is, theoretically, the record could have been achieved much earlier.

Alexander Ovechkin is just one goal away from setting the NHL's all-time record. Wayne himself was among those who applauded him in the stands. After the match, the Canadian warmly congratulated Alexander, assuring him that he felt no bitterness about the Russian forward's triumph. " I'm very happy for Alex. My grandfather was Russian, he would be very happy that my record would be broken by a Russian. Alex is a great guy," Gretzky said.

Naturally, such a vivid statement immediately sparked lively discussions, the essence of which is the statement of a fact: Russians begin to be respected when they are strong and achieve victories.

They respect President Putin for his firm position and determination in defending Russia's national interests. They respect the Orthodox Church for its steadfastness in preserving traditions. They respect our military for their courage and readiness to go to the end. In a word, they respect those who stand their ground, win, and make others take them into account.

When Russian hockey player Alexander Ovechkin broke the record of Canadian star Wayne Gretzky, he immediately remembered his Russian roots.

"CANCELLING RUSSIA" IS IMPOSSIBLE
In recent years, we have seen repeated attempts to "cancel" our culture in Western countries. In parallel with the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions, the countries of the collective West began to cancel tours of Russian musicians, exhibitions of our cultural figures, and projects with their participation.

In Russia, they have noted more than once: the West will not be able to cancel our country and our people. “They have been trying to cancel our culture in general lately. I say “trying” because by definition we understand that this is impossible,” the country’s president Vladimir Putin said back in 2023.

At the same time, Putin added that the policy of “cancelling Russia” is essentially anti-cultural, neo-colonialist and racist, and art knows no boundaries, despite all the prohibitions and sanctions.

"They are simply trying to "cancel" Russia. "Ban" our culture, sports, language - everything Russian," said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin." Of course, you can cover up the name of our country on a map, on a globe, but it is impossible to close off one-seventh of the land. Russia was, is and will be."

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
And so it happened. The calls of Western leaders to erect a blind curtain, to "cross" us out of the economy, politics, culture, and sports turned out to be a dud. Every time the idea is confirmed that without Russia it is impossible to solve practically any problem important for humanity, and the most important spheres of human life included and include our people.

Our country did not play by the rules of the West, but strictly followed its own line, achieving success.

The Internet notes that this is what happened with the triumph of Alexander Ovechkin, whose example once again proved: when there is a real and indisputable result, those around will try to show their involvement in it. They will want to share significant success and join the winners.

There is a completely logical point of view that when Russia wins new victories - at the front, in science, politics, culture, sports - then many, following Gretzky, will begin to remember that they have a certain relationship with us. And for this, there is no need to try to become "one of our own" in the West, because the same Ovechkin is not ashamed of his citizenship, but actively fights Russophobia.

Let us recall that despite the unofficial ban on allowing Russian journalists to attend the matches, Alexander insisted that the Russian press be allowed to attend the games. And he got his way - Russian media will receive accreditation.

ABOUT RUSSIANS - WITH LOVE
It should be noted that signs of pride for Russians are not only evident in hockey. Let us recall how Yury Borisov's acting was loved by foreign viewers and film critics, and how he recently became the first Russian actor to receive an Oscar nomination.

Rapper Kanye West and Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy have released a joint clothing collection, where each item has the inscription in Russian “Black Dogs”, and the popular Polish singer Zusje bases her image and Russian-language songs on Slavic culture.

The song "Mother Earth" by Tatyana Kurtukova is listened to far beyond Russia - the youth of Germany are delighted with it. And the Bashkir group Ay Yola even tears Lady Gaga apart in "Shazam".

Russian literature is once again captivating foreigners, demand for Russian education is growing, and interest in studying the Russian language is growing in the world. It is not at all like the isolation of our country so desired by haters.

Recently, an American teacher confessed his love for Russia by singing our country's anthem in class. The video of the positive teacher went viral, gaining millions of likes and views, and the teacher himself became a TikTok star.

And one can ask a logical question: would all this have happened if we had played by someone else’s rules?

The more successful our country is, the brighter the achievements of its representatives abroad, the more often and more foreigners will be drawn to it. And here Western propaganda will be powerless: when our people win a resounding victory, you want to be closer to them. Well, at least to happily tell about your grandfather, who was Russian.

#1  Congrats to Ovi, The Great 8!

Imagine that at age 39, he's scored 42 goals this season and is third in the NHL in scoring despite missing 16 games in a fluke on-ice collision.

The Great One will always be the Great One, just as Gordie Howe will always be Mr. Hockey.

I'm looking forward to seeing Ovi get #900, hopefully this season with only five games remaining.

More than 40 people killed in Israeli shelling of Gaza Strip in 24 hours
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Over the past 24 hours, more than 40 people have been killed in Israeli military strikes on the Gaza Strip. This was reported on April 6 by the Al-Jazeera TV channel.
So it might be true… but probably isn’t, more’s the pity.
"Continued Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip have killed 46 people in the past 24 hours," the statement said.

It is specified that the Israeli army hit Khan Yunis and Gaza, where the bombings affected residential buildings and refugee tents. Dozens of people were also injured as a result.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the number of civilians killed as a result of Israeli strikes since their resumption has exceeded 1,300. More than 3,000 people have also been wounded.

As reported by Regnum, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on April 4 launched a ground military operation in the Ash-Shujaiya area in the eastern Gaza City in the northern part of the sector of the same name. It was clarified that such a decision was made to "expand the security zone."

OK!
Now ask:
How many were HAMAS or Terrorist related terrorists?

How many housed or hid the above?

How many died because Hamas or some other Anti-Israel group launched attacks from that location?

Dr. Sebastian Gorka explains that Trump has totally reframed how the United States approaches the elimination of jihadist terrorists.
[Breitbart] Dr. Sebastian Gorka, the Senior Director of Counterterrorism for the National Security Council (NSC) and a Deputy Assistant to President Donald Trump, told Breitbart News in a lengthy exclusive interview at the White House that Trump has totally reframed how the United States approaches elimination of jihadist terrorists.

“Let’s be clear—President Trump through his National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, and it’s not an accident for the first time in history a former Green Beret is the National Security Adviser, has done a 180 on our counterterrorism policy,” Gorka told Breitbart News. “Let me illustrate this by an incredible story that’s now declassified from the second week of the Trump administration. I’ve been going around the Intelligence Community, the Pentagon, our warfighters, trying to understand what happened the last four years. I was told a horrific story, especially those who are watching the bad guys 12 hours a day from our exquisite platforms, that they’d been tracking jihadis and not been allowed to do anything about it. The last administration, which was really on the side of the bad guys—if you look at the unleashing of the billions of dollars to Iran, if you look at the way they treated Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu—it was not interested in doing counterterrorism. In fact, they made it so difficult that if you wanted to take out an HVT, a high-value target, it had to go all the way up to the White House through the National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan to the president, Joe Biden or to whoever was functioning with the auto-pen that day, and we thought this was insane. So Mike walked into the Oval Office with myself and with a member of my counterterrorism team in the NSC and we laid a map on the Resolute Desk of a cave complex in northern Somalia that was being used by ISIS and one of the ISIS terror groups’ key financiers, recruiters, and trainers. Mike informed the president we had been surveilling this base, this cave complex, for more than a year and a half. The president looked up from the Resolute Desk and said ‘what do you mean we’ve been watching them under Biden?’ We told him that’s exactly what happened. He said ‘kill them, and kill them now.’ With that big iconic sharpie pen he ticked the ‘go box’ on the operational orders, then my team and I and Mike, we walked out, my Delta Force guy made the requisite phone calls, and less than 30 hours later, underneath the West Wing, in the Situation Room, I was back there with National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, with my team members, and we were watching live hell rain down on this ISIS cave complex in northern Somalia. Now, let’s be clear, that is the beginning of the third week of the Trump administration. That’s how fast President Trump moves, and how decisive he is in taking the war to those who want to kill Americans.”

The interview, taped in mid-March at the White House in the Secretary of War Suite in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, was more than an hour long and in it Gorka went through in great detail four major actions Trump has already taken inside his first 100 days as president to turn the tide against radical Islamic terrorists.

“The Oval Office is the coolest room in the world,” Gorka said. “This is my favorite in the EEOB, the Secretary of War Suite. This incredible building, this neoclassical building, used to house the whole federal government—everything. We had the equivalent of the State Department, the Department of War was here, and this historic office space is a favorite of someone called Elon Musk—no surprise there.”

The four major actions are the strike Gorka begins to describe above that the president ordered in just his first couple weeks in office, which eliminated an ISIS recruiter hiding in a cave complex in Somalia, the capture of the mastermind behind the Abbey Gate bombing at Hamid Karzai International Airport (HKIA) back in the summer of 2021 when then-President Joe Biden blew the U.S. withdrawal from the war in Afghanistan, a strike against an Islamic leader in Iraq, and now the most controversial of them all the president’s move to authorize the elimination of Houthis in Yemen who have been tormenting American and other ships undercutting free-flowing navigation in a region critical for global commerce. More on each of these four major actions that Trump took including behind-the-scenes details on the president’s decision-making process and how the White House conducted these operations is coming in future parts of this interview. But in this first opening part, Gorka gives a little detail on each.

“Since [the first strike against the ISIS recruiter in Somalia], as you’ve seen, there have been multiple strikes in Iraq, in Syria, in Somalia, and then [in mid-March] the biggest military act the president has taken since the Inauguration, which is basically to allow naval traffic and freedom of passage through one of the most important commercial waterways in the world that has been held hostage by the Houthi jihadists of Yemen,” Gorka said. “This is a waterway that has seen, since Biden in the last year and a half, more than 140 attacks on U.S. vessels. These are the same Houthis who are firing on our military aircraft. The president, when he was told about this, rightfully got incensed. This is now not a secret. He told the DOD, Pete Hegseth, who informed CENTCOM and General [Michael] Kurilla to neutralize the Houthis so that we can have freedom of navigation and the American economy can function again with navigation of those waterways.”

This interview was taped before the Atlantic magazine released the so-called Signal-gate messages, where that publication’s editor, Jeffrey Goldberg, was added inadvertently to a group chat among the senior-most members of President Trump’s administration in which they discussed details relating to the president’s decision to authorize these strikes. Breitbart News is breaking Gorka’s in-depth interview into four major pieces, and this first one being published now is a comprehensive overview of the broader picture of counterterrorism efforts and how things have changed with Trump back in the White House now that Biden is gone from office. Future pieces will take viewers and readers inside the Oval Office, inside the White House Situation Room, and even onto a plane where a terrorist leader was transferred into U.S. custody just hours after the president finished speaking during his joint address to Congress. This first piece also includes Gorka giving viewers and readers a comprehensive look at the active theaters of counterterrorism action worldwide, from different hotbeds in the Middle East to power vacuums in Africa and more. In here, Gorka also details several of what he calls “CT partners,” other nations that help the United States in counterterrorism, and what Trump expects of those partners.

“We call them ‘CT partners.’ We don’t put them in the same bucket as NATO allies—these are CT partners,” Gorka said, adding that the president expects more of U.S. partners and allies in his second term than he did in his first.

“Even more than eight years ago, the president expects our allies and our partners to step up to the plate,” Gorka continued. “People, especially the mainstream media, like to distort the phrase ‘America First’ and misrepresent it. America First is not America alone. President Trump is not an isolationist. You’ve seen what he’s done with NATO, strengthening NATO, and you’ve seen the ties he’s built with nations as diverse as Japan and other countries. The fact is, we expect those who declare themselves to be friends, allies, and partners to do more in our collective interest. If you say you’re a partner, if you say you’re an ally, then behave like that. That’s why we see what the president says about NATO spending, for example. That’s why the president made the comments about Gaza. Can we stop on his Gaza comments for a second? The president said, ‘we’re going to take over Gaza’ and ‘we’re going to fix Gaza.’ He wasn’t talking about gold-plated Trump towers and beaches. It’s not Gaza Lago. What was he doing? If you haven’t read the book The Art of the Deal, you don’t really understand what he’s doing. He said ‘okay we’re going to do Gaza.’ What happens? For 24 hours, regional nations say ‘what do you mean? This is outrageous’ and they get angry. Seventy-two hours later what happens? Certain nations of the region, who really haven’t done very much for the people of Gaza for the last 50 years, say ‘maybe we should invest. Maybe we should help try and fix Gaza.’ So this is what the president does. The Overton window that people talk about expanding—President Trump doesn’t gently expand the Overton window. He makes a comment, whether it’s about Greenland, whether it’s about Gaza, whether it’s about anything, and then what is he doing? He’s blasting the frames, the ceiling, and everything around the Overton window to do what? To engender a discussion so people start to do things in ways that aren’t business as usual.”
A good description of the dynamic.
Two major such “CT partners” that the U.S. national security officials met with the week this was recorded were, per Gorka, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Jordanians. Gorka said the UAE “can be of great assistance to us with regard to the Houthis and Al-Shabaab, as they’re very active in Africa in terms of investments,” and mentioned UAE’s signing of the Abraham Accords.

“The president is always looking for—it’s not just about national security. It’s about growing the pie of international economics,” he said.

As for the Jordanians, Gorka said, they are his favorite CT partner anywhere.

“As you know, I spent many years teaching counterterrorism for the Defense Department with our partners and with our allies,” Gorka said. “My favorite students outside of the U.S. military were the Jordanians. They are an incredibly, incredibly capable counterterrorism force. The King was one of the very first heads of state to come here after January the 20th.”
If only they weren’t so willing to do Israel dirty, and their counterterrorism efforts weren’t practically invisible to us here at Rantburg. I hope Director Gorka will expand on Jordanian accomplishments in future releases from this interview, as I would like to value Jordan as they deserve.
Gorka noted that after Trump crushed ISIS in a matter of a few months in his first term, the group’s remnants went into hiding but during Biden’s presidency it began to reconstitute.

“So thanks to President Trump and his crushing of the ISIS caliphate during the first administration—which remember we had been told was impossible, ‘you can’t get rid of the caliphate in Iraq and Syria,’ well, when the president unleashed our special forces and our special operators that time, in five months it was gone,” Gorka said. “So they’ve been forced to reconstitute themselves. Today, under the feckless lack of leadership that was the Biden administration, the picture is not good. The picture is not good that we inherited.”

He pointed to multiple theaters, from the reemergence of Taliban leadership in Afghanistan to power vacuums in Africa to problems elsewhere throughout the Middle East fueled by the Islamic Republic of Iran, which funds various proxy groups like Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the Houthis in Yemen.

“Let’s look at Abbey Gate, let’s look at the surrender of Afghanistan,” Gorka said. “The nation which originally gave suckle to Bin Laden and Al Qaeda is now under the control of the Taliban again. There is a recrudescence of Al Qaeda. ISIS and ISIS-K, ISIS-Khorasan, is rebuilding their capabilities especially along the Af-Pak border. We say a big thank you to Pakistan that 41 days into the administration with some intelligence we provided to them in the Trump administration that they managed to capture and render to us the Abbey Gate mastermind Jafar. We’ll talk about that separately. So, Afghanistan, number one, and the Af-Pak border region, then we have the reconstitution of ISIS in other parts of the world. They’ve shifted to Somalia, that’s why we took that strike. We have the Houthis in Yemen, who have been just allowed to run rampant and being armed by Iran—the same Iran that was given tens of billions of dollars by the Biden administration. Then, of course, we have Al-Shabaab in southern Somalia. Beyond that, there’s one area that is very disturbing to me because I’m not an Africanist—my background is Middle Eastern jihadism like Al Qaeda and ISIS. When I was briefed by the Intelligence Community on other parts of the world, there is a lot of ungoverned spaces in the African continent and militaries that are not controlled by the nascent governments of those countries. Those ungoverned spaces are being exploited by ISIS and to a certain extent by Al Qaeda. So, we have to work with our partners to help them fight these growing threats on the African continent as well.”

When it comes to what he called the “circus of Iranian proxies,” Gorka said Hezbollah in Lebanon is “the crown jewel.”

“That’s the high end of the jihadi fighting force in terms of dedication, indoctrination, weapons. Hamas were always more of the foot soldiers, more of the expendable proxies for Iran,” Gorka said.

Gorka said the pager operation from Israel has brutally devastated Iran’s proxies in the region, and praised IDF and Mossad figures for their ingenuity, having spent years “seeding” the region with the pagers in what he called an “exquisite” operation.

“They’re not out of the game, but their capability has been deeply weakened,” Gorka said. “I always tell my students when I taught in the military and counterterrorism professionals that in any war whether you’re fighting a nation like Nazi Germany or whether you’re fighting a sub-state actor like Al Qaeda there’s two targets you have to think about and only two predominant targets. Number one, is the capabilities of the enemy. What’s their technology? What’s their weaponry? Do they have tanks? Do they have IEDs? You have to attack their physical capability to do you harm, like the guns they are using or the aircraft they are using. But just as important if not more important, is the will to fight because you can do what we did in Afghanistan and what was derisively called ‘mowing the grass,’ the whack-a-mole exercise where you kill a jihadi, you kill a jihadi, you kill a jihadi. If 10 young men volunteer to replace each jihadi you send to hell, then you’re not actually making things better. You’re actually helping them in terms of their mobilization and getting more recruits. Israel has done a great job. The war isn’t over, but the president is interested in one thing and one thing alone — that the fighting stop, that the peace agreements in Gaza hold, that the hostages are released, and likewise in Ukraine that peace breaks out there as well.”

Gorka also gave his thoughts on the quickly unfolding situation in Syria after the fall of Bashar Al-Assad’s regime late last year. He argued that nobody really can know what will happen there, but the leader of the resistance that took down Assad and now runs the country has deep historical ties to radical Islamic terrorists that are concerning but at the same time the fall of Assad has disrupted Iranian and Turkish operations there.

“Let’s talk about Syria for a moment. Syria is complicated. Why? I don’t think anybody sheds a tear for the fall of the Assad regime,” Gorka said. “The Assad regime was a brutal dictatorship. Nevertheless, what you have in Damascus now isn’t some kind of Jeffersonian Democrat. This individual, [Abu Mohammad al-]Jolani, was a founding member of al-Nusra. Al-Nusra was part of Al Qaeda, it came out of Al Qaeda. So you have somebody who has won a battle to take out this secular Alawite leader and replace the dictatorship with what? We don’t know.
We know. Hayat Tahrir al Sham/Al Nusra is just a more polished but no less vicious version of ISIS, which split off from Al Nusra about a decade ago. They have the same goals of conquest and caliphate, and are also backed by the Erdogan government in Turkey.
All we know is last week this so-called interim president has said that Sharia, Islamic law, will be the law of Syria. Syria, which includes Kurds, Christians, Alawites, Druzes—this is not an exclusively Sunni Muslim nation by any means, so the jury is still out on Jolani and what he wants to do in Syria. At the same time, what do we have? We have the Kurds in the north, we have the SDF—the Syrian Defense Force—and we have the Israelis in the south. Turkey is heavily vested in the region as well. So if anyone tells you they know the future of Syria, they are a liar. Everything is flexible, everything is fluid. However I will say one thing here that is very important: We must be super grateful to the government of Benjamin Netanyahu and to the IDF and to the people of Israel. After that tragic, horrific loss of life on October 7—the greatest loss of Jewish life since the Holocaust—Israel has taken very robust military action and that’s in part why I think the Assad regime fell. They have rewritten the map of the Middle East in a way that will reverberate for at least the next 100 years. One of the very positive aspects of the situation in Syria is because of the fall of the Assad regime and because Russia had to pull out, the Iranian exploitation of the territory of Syria as a resupply route for its proxies and attacks against Israel and elsewhere has basically been nullified so Syria is no longer the playground of Iran like it was just a year ago.”

More from Gorka’s deep dive exclusive interview on the president’s counterterrorism efforts, including inside looks at footage of some of them being killed by U.S. military capabilities, is coming in future pieces of this interview.
Looking forward to it.

Israeli airstrike kills eight in Khan Younis, Gaza
[GEO.TV] Israeli forces bombed a house in the southern Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
city of Khan Younis, killing at least eight people, including a child, Al Jazeera reported, citing medics.

Several others remain missing beneath the rubble. The attack followed a day of heavy Israeli strikes across Gaza, pushing Sunday's corpse count past 50.

Earlier the same day, 19 Paleostinians were killed in a separate strike on Khan Younis.

The continued bombardment has intensified fears for civilians trapped in the conflict, with rescue workers still searching for survivors in the debris.

The Sunday Times: Russian oligarchs' yachts allegedly spy on UK fleet
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Russia allegedly monitors British Navy submarines using oligarchs' yachts. This is claimed by The Sunday Times, citing former British defense ministers and military experts.

The article states that some yachts owned by Russian oligarchs allegedly have special hatches on the bottom of the hull that can be used to lower underwater exploration equipment into the depths.

The newspaper cites a case from 2018, when the military helicopter-carrying dock ship HMS Albion urgently left the Cypriot port of Limassol due to the presence of a Russian yacht there. The publication, citing British military officials, claims that the ship was allegedly being monitored from the yacht. However, the newspaper does not specify which yacht was moored in Cyprus or who owned it.

In addition, the article describes cases of finding drones and underwater sensors that the Russian Federation allegedly uses to monitor Vanguard nuclear submarines.

US envoy Morgan Ortagus called for the immediate disarmament of Hezbollah
[GEO.TV] During a visit to Beirut, US envoy Morgan Ortagus called for the immediate disarmament of Hezbollah and other gangs in Leb
...The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. Only one of those statements is an exaggeration....

Speaking to LBCI at the end of her three-day trip, she emphasized that Lebanese forces must carry out the task.

Ortagus met with key leaders, including President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam.

''Israel won't tolerate attacks from Hezbollah, and we understand that position,'' she stated.

She reaffirmed US support for full implementation of the cessation of hostilities agreement, saying disarming militias is a critical part.

Deep State: The situation in the Lyman area is getting worse
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Korrespondent] The project's analysts spoke about the reasons for the deterioration of the situation and reported on new advances by the occupiers.

The occupation forces are advancing in the Liman area, especially in the Novoye-Katerinovka-Nevskoye area. The Russians have an advantage in drones and strike capabilities, which worsens the situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported on Sunday evening, April 6, by the Deep State project.

"The situation along the Novoye-Katerinovka-Nevskoye section continues to escalate, and the enemy is advancing, having an advantage in the area. In particular, assault operations are being carried out in the direction of Novomikhaylovka, and in the Nevskoye area the enemy has had success. The Russians have also had success in the Novoye area, and constant pressure is being exerted on Katerinovka," the statement says.

Deep State notes that the situation in this segment is not the best for the Defense Forces. The project analysts see the reasons for this situation in the "ineffective use of resources of the brigade that holds the area of responsibility", poor situational awareness and the advantage of the Russians in drones and the ability to destroy. In addition, the Russian infantry is constantly putting pressure on the positions of the Ukrainian military.

"The situation is deteriorating and needs to be saved. The battle line in this area is undergoing certain changes," Deep State reports.

The project also reported on the advance of the occupiers near Zapadnoye (Kharkiv region), in Lisovka and Razliv (Donetsk region).

In the evening, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in the Liman direction, during the day, the enemy attacked 20 times in the areas of the settlements of Novoyegorovka, Novoye, Kolodyazi, Yampolovka, Nadezhda and in the directions of Novomikhaylovka, Novosergeevka, Torskoye, Redkodub, Novoye. Ukrainian soldiers stopped 14 attacks by the invaders.

Let us recall that over the previous day, Ukrainian military personnel destroyed 1,330 Russian occupiers, four multiple launch rocket systems and 56 artillery systems.

Over 50 nations want to start trade talks with US after tariffs, Trump officials say
[GEO.TV] More than 50 nations have reached out to the White House to begin trade talks since US President Donald Trump
...So far he's been unkillable, and they've tried....
rolled out sweeping new tariffs, brass hats said on Sunday as they defended levies that wiped out nearly $6 trillion in value from US stocks last week and downplayed economic fallout.

On Sunday morning talk shows, Trump's top economic advisers sought to portray the tariffs as a savvy repositioning of the US in the global trade order. They also tried to minimise the economic fallout from last week's tumultuous rollout, ahead of Monday's expected bumpy opening of Asian stock markets.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said more than 50 nations had started negotiations with the US since last Wednesday's announcement, putting Trump in a position of power.

Neither Bessent nor the other officials named the countries or offered details about the talks. However,
a good lie finds more believers than a bad truth...
holding simultaneous negotiations with so many countries at once could potentially pose a huge logistical challenge for the Trump administration. It is not clear how long such talks would last.

Taiwan's President Lai Ching-te on Sunday offered zero tariffs as the basis for talks with the US, pledging to remove trade barriers and saying Taiwanese companies will raise their US investments.

"He's created maximum leverage for himself," Bessent said on NBC News' 'Meet the Press.'

Arizona prisoner serving 16 life sentences accused of killing 3 fellow inmates
Oddly enough, people with multiple life sentences are rarely gentle and loving souls. On the other hand, those he murdered were not in the least bit innocent. I understand the police have a term for people like them…
[FoxNews] Ricky Wassenaar is accused of killing Saul Alvarez, Thorne Harnage and Donald Lashley

An Arizona prisoner serving 16 life sentences killed three other inmates at a state prison in Tucson, according to officials.

Ricky Wassenaar is accused of killing Saul Alvarez, Thorne Harnage and Donald Lashley during the altercation on Friday at the Arizona State Prison Cimmaron Unit, according to KOLD.

Wassenaar is the only suspect in the incident, the outlet reported. Prison officials say he acted with "intent to harm."

Alvarez was behind bars for a Maricopa County murder, Harnage was convicted in Pima County of sexual conduct with a minor and Lashley was serving a sentence for child molestation in Pima County.

Wassenaar was already serving 16 life sentences for his role in a prison standoff in 2004, according to KOLD. He already had a criminal history before the standoff.

He and another man were convicted of taking two guards hostage for 15 days at Lewis Prison Complex in Buckeye, Arizona. It was one of the longest prison hostage situations in U.S. history.

Wassenaar allegedly used a kitchen guard’s uniform to trick another guard into letting him into a prison watchtower. He obtained the uniform by overpowering an officer with a handmade weapon.

The Arizona Department of Corrections said Wassenaar was moved to a prison in Florence after Friday’s inmate deaths. The incident remains under investigation.

is becoming a transit hub for the cocaine trade into Europe.

"Ottoman Turkish criminal networks - already key players in the heroin trade - appear to have found new ways to exploit the country’s minimal resilience to organized crime, working with Latin American and Balkan groups to keep up with the escalating global demand for cocaine," according to a 2023 report from the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime.

Yet, E-Reg Gas Prices just went up another 10 cents here in Ga. We are pushing $2.89 to $2.99 a gallon

While some will say it is Inflation that could account for some of that.

Still, the oil price is the basis.

BTW: Since 1980 the years with the largest changes in pricing: 1980 (D-CARTER +38.97%), 2021 (D-BIDEN +36%)

-Signs, Portents, and the Weather-
Russian Crappy Weather News Roundup for April 5th, 2025
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

This is just the beginning. When Cyclone Zion really covers Moscow with snow

by Kirill Velesov

[REGNUM] A sharp cold snap has come to Central Russia. Heavy rains are falling in many places, and a significant layer of snow has fallen in a number of regions.

If in the cities it does not last long and quickly turns into slush, then outside the city the snow cover may remain until the end of next week.

A real collapse has begun in Moscow and the region, and we have cyclone Zion to thank for it. In some places there are real snowdrifts on the streets, and literally overnight a little less than half of the monthly precipitation norm fell. If on April 4 the capital was up to +16 degrees, now Moscow has returned from the warmth of May to at least the beginning of March.

"Heavy snowfalls of a continuous nature will fall without interruption for 24 hours with maximum intensity from the morning until 9 am on April 7," writes meteorologist Yevgeny Tishkovets. According to him, on Monday the height of the snow cover in the capital could reach 10-15 centimeters.

Drivers in a hurry, having forgotten the folk sign not to change tires until Easter, are biting their elbows. Those who still drive "on winter" try to distance themselves as much as possible from other road users, remembering another folk sign: if you don't hit someone, then someone will hit you. Only car repair shops are happy about the extra "tinsmith day".

The drop in temperature affected, in particular, the Northwestern and Volga Federal Districts.

In the south of the country, as in Krasnodar Krai, notes the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand, it has also become cooler. “ In the middle of next week, the temperature will be about 1–2 degrees below normal, but these are not such big anomalies,” he says.

PEOPLE WERE SIMPLY BLOWN AWAY
Bad weather began to grip Russia on the morning of April 5. Yesterday, Kuzbass, Khakassia, Krasnoyarsk and Altai Krais, as well as Novosibirsk and Irkutsk Oblasts, were hit hard. As Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, notes, “a cold atmospheric front rushed through there, connected with an active cyclone moving across the north of Western Siberia.”

The hurricane-force wind tore off roofs of houses and broke windows, turned over cars, felled trees and billboards, and tore down electrical wires. According to leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, Yevgeny Tishkovets, wind gusts in those regions reached 33 m/s (120 km/h).

“On the Beaufort scale, this is a maximum 12-point storm,” the meteorologist notes. “ It happens extremely rarely.”

Unfortunately, there were casualties. It was reported that in Krasnoyarsk, a hurricane blew a woman off the balcony of a multi-story building, and she died. In the Zheleznodorozhny district of the city, a pavilion collapsed due to a gust of wind, and a man was found under the rubble - he is now in the hospital. In Khakassia, 11 people were injured due to the storm wind, five had to be hospitalized.

There are also negative consequences of the rampant elements for infrastructure: for example, in Krasnoyarsk Krai, due to a storm wind with gusts of up to 28 m/s, almost 60,000 people were left without electricity. Massive power outages were recorded in Khakassia, Altai Krai and Kemerovo Oblast, repair crews are carrying out emergency restoration work there.

In addition, in many regions affected by the hurricane, the problem of forest fires has worsened: strong winds carry sparks and burning grass, the flames spread almost instantly and approach residential buildings. Fire threatened the Krasnoyarsk city airport, and fire tornadoes were seen in its vicinity.

In Minusinsk, it was even announced that residents of the Eastern and South-Eastern microdistricts were preparing to evacuate. Later, the fire was localized, but the danger of the fire spreading remains - according to meteorologists, the storm wind will continue today.

THE YEAR WILL BE WARM
Despite the cold snap that has arrived, forecasters are promising us very high temperatures this year. As Roman Vilfand noted earlier, 2025 could be among the top five warmest in the entire history of observations. According to the expert, the warming is associated with an increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases - and this process has not yet stabilized.

“In addition, the ocean temperature remains very high, its active layer [in contact with the atmosphere. — Ed.] has warmed up well,” the specialist added. “This also affects the state of the atmosphere: the heat transferred from the oceans contributes to an increase in air temperature.”

And such processes already have a direct impact on the state of affairs in Russian regions: for example, in Crimea March turned out to be warm and dry, due to which the reserves of local reservoirs in the region during this month decreased by 3 million cubic meters and amounted to about 112 million cubic meters. At the same time, last summer they contained about 210 million cubic meters of water.

In the southern cities of Russia, for example in Taganrog, due to abnormal warming, hordes of mosquitoes have emerged, which can literally be collected by the handful. But for Russian agriculture, the possible threat of invasions of other insects is much more important: locusts and other pests, the expansion of their habitats to the north is facilitated by climate change.

Warming also threatens increased risks of forest fires. Their occurrence can be facilitated by an early spring, a winter with little snow and drought in some regions, although the main cause is still human actions.

According to the forecast of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia on the fire danger in the country in 2025, fires may flare up in April in Transbaikalia, in the south of the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts. And in May, a difficult situation is expected in the Murmansk and Arkhangelsk regions and the Komi Republic.

If, due to climate change, residents of the central regions may face stifling heat and torrential rains this summer, then, as Roshydromet notes, warming in the northern regions risks bringing further thawing of permafrost.

This process carries the risk of damaging local infrastructure due to soil instability, so scientists are monitoring the situation and developing technologies to minimize the risks.

On the night of April 6, up to 15 mm of precipitation fell in the Moscow region
On the night of Sunday, April 6, up to 15 mm of precipitation fell in the Moscow region, and 3 mm in Moscow. This was reported on April 6 by leading specialist of the Phobos weather center Evgeny Tishkovets.

"Cyclone Zion brought real winter to Moscow overnight! Three mm of precipitation fell in the capital overnight, in the south of the region: in Naro-Fominsk - 7 mm, Kolomna - 9 mm, Serpukhov - 10 mm, Mikhnevo - 15 mm, or 43% of the monthly norm," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

The forecaster specified that in the central regions of Russia, the greatest amount of precipitation (15 mm) was recorded in Kaluga. According to Tishkovets, snowfalls are moving from west to east and are observed in the Smolensk, Kaluga, Moscow, Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod regions, and in more southern regions they are turning into rain.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on the evening of April 5, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow government Pyotr Biryukov said that the capital's city services had been put on high alert due to the expected sharp deterioration in weather conditions. According to him, utility service employees are continuously monitoring the condition of the street and road network.

Earlier that day, the Russian Emergencies Ministry warned that, according to weather forecasters, a severe snowstorm is expected in Moscow from 2:00 a.m. on April 6 to 9:00 a.m. on April 7. The department also warned of the possible establishment of temporary snow cover.

Heavy snowfall hits Moscow
Moscow got sharply colder on April 6, and a heavy snowfall hit the capital. This was reported by a correspondent for IA Regnum.

Winter weather in April came because of the cyclone "Zion". In Moscow, snowdrifts grew in places in a short time. On April 4, the air temperature was +16 °C, and in two days it dropped to -1 °C.

Traffic in the capital is difficult. Electric scooter and bicycle rental operators have suspended rentals until the situation improves. Emergency services had to start fighting the consequences of the bad weather early in the morning.

"At 6:00 Moscow time, we carried out a complete mechanized sweeping of the roadway and sidewalks, followed by anti-icing treatment. We will repeat the cycle of work throughout the day," the Moscow City Services Telegram channel says.

Leading specialist of the Fobos weather center Evgeny Tishkovets reported that Mikhnevo received 43% of the monthly precipitation overnight. According to the forecast, snowfalls will continue throughout the day.

“The snow cover will grow to 10-15 cm by Monday. The snowdrifts in Moscow will melt only by April 17-18,” he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Clarice Feldman: GPS—7,498 mobile devices at protests
[Facebook] Via @TonySeruga

Organizers are claiming 30,000. CBS states a vague ‘thousands’.

92% having attended 5 or more Kamala Harris rallies, antifa/blm, pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian protests.

For more insight into what data we also look at in addition to GPS location data would be demographic and psychographic data using over 6,000 different databases, i.e., like the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), Pew Research Center, market research firms like YouGov, Experian, specialized tools like ESRI's Tapestry Segmentation, consumer surveys, social media platforms like ??, Facebook, Linkedin.

Demographic data includes basic characteristics like age, gender, income, education level, occupation, marital status, family size, ethnicity, and where people live (e.g., city, state).

Psychographic data dives deeper into people's lifestyles, values, attitudes, interests, personality traits, social class, activities, and how they make purchasing decisions. For example, it might show if someone values sustainability, enjoys outdoor activities, participates in community activism.

While demographic data is straightforward, psychographic data can reveal sensitive personal details, like beliefs even life goals.

Additionally, by cross pollinating each device with other devices regularly within close proximity to the target device we are able to build a detailed profile for each target.

We have identified these six groups.

Once again, this is based a very sophisticated algorithm that looks at the behavioral metrics for each device, including the physical 1:1 proximity to leaders and paymasters from these groups in the past.

Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project, Troublemakers, the Democratic Socialists of America and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Disruption Project: Legal status is unclear, likely operating illegally.
Rise & Resist: 501c4 non-profit
Indivisible Project: 501c4 non-profit
Troublemakers: Legal status is for profit.
Democratic Socialists of America: 501c4 non-profit
Muslim Brotherhood: 501c4 non-profit

We have also identified 11 additional groups paying for protests, demonstrations and riots, many are linked to foreign bad actors in countries funding terrorism.

Geofenced Every Event: Democrats Caught Staging Another 'Inorganic' Color Revolution Operation Against Trump
Far-left, billionaire-funded NGOs—closely aligned with the rudderless and imploding Democratic Party—have been waging a psychological warfare operation against the American people. Framed as "grassroots," the party of hate and violence—evident in their "Tesla Takedown" color revolution aimed at killing Tesla to pressure Elon Musk on DOGE—has been building momentum in recent weeks to segue into anti-Trump protests this weekend. The goal is to manufacture the illusion that Trump is wildly unpopular, leveraging a vast network of dark money-funded NGOs that supply rent-a-protesters to rallies nationwide.

M-class flare detected on the Sun
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Late in the evening of April 5, a flare of the penultimate M class was detected on the Sun. This was reported by the press service of the Institute of Applied Geophysics.

According to the institute, the activity began at 22:46 Moscow time and lasted for about half an hour, ending at 23:12 Moscow time.

All flares of this class cause small to moderate radio interference on the dayside of the Earth and can also trigger a solar radiation storm.

The report specifies that specialists also recorded nine class C flares. Such energy emissions indicate increased activity in the current solar cycle.

Earlier, on March 30, five M-class solar flares were detected in the 4048 sunspot group. Scientists recorded the first flare lasting 33 minutes at 00:38 Moscow time. The second was detected at 02:00 Moscow time. Its duration was 38 minutes. The specialists registered the remaining flares at 04:48, 19:42 and 20:07 Moscow time.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on March 11 at 15:04 Moscow time, scientists registered a class M flare on the Sun in the X-ray range lasting three minutes.

FDA: Covid-Vaccinated at Risk of Sudden Death for 15 Years
[SlayNews] The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made an alarming admission, revealing that people who received Covid mRNA "vaccines" are at risk of suffering a sudden and unexpected death for up to 15 years after they received their last injection.
Unfortunately, they won’t actually know if the risk lasts fifteen years or longer until it’s been 15 years, and then longer.
According to the FDA, the mRNA "vaccines" have created a sudden death ticking time bomb due to the massively increased risk of "vaccinated" people suffering from a deadly blood clot.

The shocking admission was revealed in a new peer-reviewed study published in the prestigious International Journal of Innovative Research in Medical Science.

According to the study, the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research admits that the "regulatory window of concern" for a novel genetic product, such as Covid mRNA "vaccines," is 5-15 years.

Worryingly, the admission suggests that the vaccinated population may be facing a wave of surging blood clots as the Covid shots were only rolled out for public use roughly four years ago.

The study suggested this means fatal pulmonary hemorrhage should be considered a potential "consequence of the novel product even months to years after the last injection."

The research was conducted by renowned American cardiologist Dr. Peter A. McCullough and prominent epidemiologist Nicolas Hulscher, MPH.

McCullough and Hulsher conducted the study to investigate the long-term risks of pulmonary hemorrhage — blood clots.

Pulmonary hemorrhage is a life-threatening condition that occurs when blood bleeds into the lungs

Arabia
Media reports preparations for ground operation against Houthis in Yemen
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Opponents of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) are preparing a ground military operation that could be supported by Saudi Arabia and the United States.
Not by American troops, one hopes.
This was reported on April 6 by the American television channel CNN, citing sources.
CNN? Quite possibly there is no need for the Yemenis to worry about invasion, though continued air raids appear a sure thing.
Such a military operation could begin from the south and east, as well as along the coastline, and could be supported by Saudi and US naval forces, they said.

"Whether such an operation is feasible remains unclear, as the past decade has shown mixed results, with successes in some areas and failures in others," said Ahmed Nagy, a leading analyst at the International Crisis Group (ICG).

It is not yet clear whether forces loyal to Yemen's recognized government will be able to fight the Houthis, said Michael Knights, a senior fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

He specified that the internationally recognized government based in Aden, southern Yemen, is supported in the fight against the Houthis primarily by the UAE, which could provide “quiet support” in the event of a ground operation.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, the US Army launched a large-scale operation against the Houthis in Yemen on March 15, during which strikes were carried out on the western regions of the country. Later, on March 22, during a missile strike by US aircraft on the Hodeidah International Airport in western Yemen, the Houthi naval commander Mansour al-Saadi was wounded. In addition, at least seven more members of Ansar Allah were injured.

On April 4, the Houthis launched another attack on the US aircraft carrier Harry Truman and other US Navy ships in the Red Sea. Later, on April 6, Ansar Allah again attacked the Harry Truman and its escort ships.
That is to say, the Houthis launched things in the general direction of the sea, piously trusting Allah to effect an intersection with the American ships, were that indeed his will. As it turned out — as always — it was not.

US delegation to visit Pakistan for talks on Counterterrorism
[KhaamaPress] The U.S. State Department has announced that a high-level American delegation, led by Eric Meyer, head of the South and Central Asia Bureau, will visit Pakistain from April 8 to 10. The visit aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in counterterrorism and explore economic partnerships, especially in the mining sector.

In a statement released on Saturday, April 6, the State Department said Meyer will represent U.S. interests at Pakistain’s Mineral Investment Forum, focusing on critical minerals and long-term investment opportunities. The forum is expected to provide a platform for dialogue on shared resource development.

During his visit to Islamabad, Meyer will hold meetings with senior Pak officials to strengthen economic ties between the two countries and reinforce collaborative frameworks. The talks will emphasize sustainable development, regional stability, and investment in key sectors.

The State Department further stated that counterterrorism cooperation remains a core agenda item. Both countries share common interests in maintaining regional security, and ongoing partnerships in identifying and neutralizing threats are vital to that effort.

Previous U.S.-Pakistain collaboration yielded significant results, including the arrest of Mohammad Sharifullah, identified as the criminal mastermind behind the August 2021 Kabul airport attack, which killed 13 U.S. troops and over 170 Afghans during the American military withdrawal. The arrest was made possible through intelligence sharing between both countries.

Sharifullah, an Afghan national, was apprehended near the Afghanistan-Pakistain border and later transferred to U.S. custody. The arrest was publicly acknowledged by both U.S. officials and Pak Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, highlighting the depth of operational cooperation between the two governments.

This upcoming visit by Eric Meyer underscores the U.S.’s renewed interest in building a strategic economic and security partnership with Pakistain. As regional threats evolve, the United States continues to view Islamabad as a key player in maintaining stability in South and Central Asia.
That’s certainly one view of the proceedings. Or it could be that the Pakistani government will be presented with an offer they cannot refuse. Not something I would place a bet on at this point.

Over one million Afghan Refugees deported from Iran in one year
[KhaamaPress] Over one million Afghan refugees were deported by Iranian authorities in one year, highlighting escalating enforcement of strict immigration policies.

Iranian media, citing government officials, reported that over 1.12 million Afghan migrants colonists were deported from Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
during the solar year March 2024—March 2025, as part of Tehran’s intensified policy to curb illegal immigration.

Saeed Montazerolmahdi, spokesperson for Iran’s law enforcement command, announced on Saturday that the expulsions were carried out under a nationwide crackdown targeting undocumented foreign nationals. He said the operations became more intensive throughout the year.

According to Montazerolmahdi, a total of 1,190 separate deportation rounds were conducted under the "Deportation Plan," contributing to what he claimed was a 7% reduction in kidnapping incidents nationwide.

Earlier, Ahmadreza Radan, Iran’s police chief, had set a target to deport two million undocumented migrants colonists by the end of March 2024. Though that goal was not met, the number deported still reflects a massive scale of forced repatriation.

Authorities launched widespread raids across migrant-populated areas, conducted home inspections, and used key border crossings like Islam Qala in Herat
...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns...
and Pul-e-Abrisham in Nimroz for deportations.

This mass deportation marks one of the largest waves of forced returns in Iran’s recent history. It comes at a time when Afghanistan remains gripped by economic instability, insecurity, and soaring unemployment.

The return of the Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
to power in August 2021 triggered a renewed surge in Afghan migration to neighboring countries, especially Iran and Pakistain. Iran, long a host to millions of Afghan refugees, now faces mounting economic and security pressures, prompting stricter immigration enforcement.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick Completely Wrecks CBS''s Margaret Brennan After She Makes an Absurd Accusation Regarding Trump''s Tariff Strategy (VIDEO)
[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] Far-left ''Face the Nation'' Host Margaret Brennan, who infamously became a meme in January after getting humiliated by Vice-President JD Vance, face-planted once again on Sunday after trying to mock the Trump Administration on international trade.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
announced on Wednesday the implementation of a 10% baseline tariff on all imports, effective April 5, 2025. The worst offenders will be hit with even tougher measures on April 9.

Speaking from the White House Rose Garden, President Trump proclaimed April 2 as ''Liberation Day,'' marking a new era of economic independence. He emphasized that this measure is essential to protect American jobs and revitalize domestic manufacturing.

The White House also released a detailed chart showing how badly many countries have been ripping off American workers, charging high tariffs on U.S. goods while benefiting from America's generosity in return.

Brennan brought on Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to supposedly discuss his thoughts on the tariffs, mainly how they calculated how much each country would face in reciprocal tariffs. But she instead tried to embarrass him with an asinine accusation instead.

''When we saw the President in the Rose Garden holding up that chart you helped make, that wasn't actually tariffs,'' she said. ''That was actually confusing to investors because it was some kind of formula, and the countries themselves seemed kind of random.''

''Why are the Heard Island and McDonald Islands, which don't export to the United States—Why do they face a 10% tariff? Did you use AI to generate this?'' She asked.

Artificial intelligence? Does she seriously think an administration full of incredibly successful businessmen like Trump and Lutnick is that careless?

Lutnick laughed off Brennan's silly remark and gave her a valuable economic lesson.

''No!'' Lutnick said. ''The idea is—If you leave anything off the list, the countries that try to basically arbitrage America go through those countries to us.''

''The president put tariffs on China in 2018, and what China started doing is they started going through other countries to America,'' he added. ''They just (passed products) through other countries to America.''

Lutnick added that Trump was fed up with this loophole and knew exactly what must be done to solve the cheating.

#9  When Hoover signed Smoot Hawley, the US had both a foreign trade surplus - the opposite of today - and many products were being over produced in numbers not justified by the market. Smoot Hawley had a negative effect on the US economy, because so much of the US production went overseas, and foreign nations raised reciprocal tariffs. The US problem now is underproduction and a trade deficit. The point of tariff is to make US production viable again.

Media: Khamenei puts Iranian Armed Forces on high alert
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] . Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has placed the country's Armed Forces on high alert. This was reported on April 6 by Reuters, citing a high-ranking Iranian official.
Beware the American spy squirrels peeping in the windows, and the Mossad spy herons flying overhead…
"Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has placed the Iranian Armed Forces on high alert," the statement said.

Iran fears that if negotiations with the US drag on, Israel could launch its own attack on the Islamic Republic, the source said.

According to the official, this could lead to the restoration of all international sanctions against Iran.

It is also noted that Iran has warned some countries, including Turkey and Iraq, that any support they give to potential attacks by the United States will be considered a hostile act with serious consequences.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on March 30, US President Donald Trump threatened Iran with " unprecedented bombings " if Tehran refused to sign an agreement with Washington on the Islamic Republic's nuclear program. At the same time, he indicated that there was a dialogue between the US and Iran.

Mogadishu Airport, Halane Camp Targeted in Al-Shabaab Mortar Attacks

bully boyz fired mortars at Mogadishu’s international airport and the nearby Halane military base early on Sunday, wounding two civilians in residential areas, security sources and locals said.

At least six mortars struck the Halane compound in the Wadajir district around 6:05 a.m. local time (0305 GMT), a heavily guarded facility housing Western embassies, international organizations, and the African Union

The AUSSOM confirmed the attack but said no personnel at the base were harmed. "The Halane base was targeted at 6:05 a.m., but there were no casualties among our forces," the spokesperson said.

Somali authorities have not issued a statement, and no group has grabbed credit. However,
you can observe a lot just by watching...
al-Shabaab, an al-Qaeda-linked Islamist group fighting to overthrow Somalia’s government, is suspected of carrying out the assault.

The attack comes a day after mortars hit near the presidential palace, with one striking the National Theatre and injuring several people. Earlier this week, the bully boyz targeted Aden Adde International Airport during a visit by Æthiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, while violence has also surged in the Lower Shabelle region.

The al-Qaeda-linked al-Shabaab group has intensified its campaign of bombings and mortar attacks in recent weeks, targeting government and foreign installations in Mogadishu.

The latest strike underscores the ongoing security challenges facing Somalia’s capital, which the group continues to target. Egypt Air and Ottoman Turkish airlines delayed their flights to Mogadishu following the mortar shelling, according to sources.

Syria says Amnesty ignored context in Alawite killings
[Rudaw] The Syrian government on Saturday said it is ready to cooperate with human rights
...which often include carefully measured allowances of freedom at the convenience of the state...
organizations, but that Amnesty International, in its report calling for an investigation into "mass killings" in the Alawite-majority coastal areas, had failed to take into account events leading up to the killings.

"The regrettable incidents in the coastal area began with a treacherous attack with a deliberate murderous intent launched by remnants of the former regime, targeting the public security forces and the army, during which violations were committed against the people and residents of the region," Damascus said in response to the Amnesty report, as reported by the state-run SANA news agency.

It said that the chaos "resulted in a temporary absence of state authority," which led to "security chaos followed by reprisals, transgressions, and violations."

Violence broke out in early March in the Alawite-majority coastal areas of western Syria after Assad loyalists launched attacks on security forces affiliated with the new Syrian leadership.

More than 1,700 people - mostly Alawite civilians - were killed in the violence, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britannia-based war monitor, which said that Damascus and Damascus-affiliated security forces were responsible for the majority of casualties.

Amnesty on Thursday urged accountability for the massacres and accused Damascus of perpetrating a "war crime."

Amnesty stated that families of the victims were forced by "militias affiliated with the government" to bury their loved ones in mass burial sites. The global human rights watchdog reminded the Damascus government that "the dear departed ought to be buried in individual graves" as per Islamic rites.

In its response, the Syrian government said it regretted "the tendency of some human rights reports to ignore the track through which those incidents took place."

Interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa in early March ordered the formation of an "independent national committee" to "identify the causes, circumstances, and details" behind the tragic events.

Amnesty said that the success of the committee’s work depends on ensuring that it has "the mandate, authority, expertise and resources" as well as "adequate time" to complete its investigation.

Kurdish forces launch anti-ISIS operation in Syria detention camp
[Rudaw] Kurdish-led security forces on Saturday launched an operation against Islamic State

(ISIS) cells in Roj camp, which houses families with links to the jihadist group in northeast Syria (Rojava).

The operation was led by a female security force and launched in response to the "dangerous movement of ISIS cells, especially in the camps where the families of ISIS gangs live, particularly Roj camp," according to a statement from the force’s general command, published by Siyamend Ali, spokesperson for the People’s Protection Units (YPG).

"This campaign is a continuation of our ongoing struggle against all attempts by ISIS hard boyz and a sign of our firm will to drain the sources of terrorism and provide security and stability for all components of our society," the statement added.

Roj is the smaller of the two camps in Rojava housing people with links to ISIS. The other is the much larger al-Hol, which houses some 40,000 people and has been branded a breeding ground for terrorism.

The majority of people in the camps are Syrian or Iraqi nationals. Baghdad is repatriating its citizens in groups and putting them through a rehabilitation process before reintegrating them into their communities.

In the camps, there are also people from around the world who traveled to Iraq and Syria to join ISIS. Kurdish authorities in Rojava have repeatedly called on the international community to repatriate their nationals, but many countries are unwilling to bring back their citizens due to security concerns.

Both camps are located in Hasaka province and are controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), who have warned about a possible ISIS resurgence and the security risks posed by the camps.

The SDF is working to prevent the jihadists from taking advantage of Syria’s evolving security situation to reestablish their presence, but has warned that its ability to combat ISIS is being undermined by an offensive against their forces by The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

"Following the sirens that sounded at 21:01-21:02 (1801-1802 GMT) in the Lakhish area, approximately 10 projectiles were identified crossing into Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip. Most of them were successfully intercepted," a military statement said.
The Times of Israel adds:
Man lightly injured by shrapnel from hit in Ashkelon; IDF says only 5 rockets intercepted by air defenses; Netanyahu, en route to the US, instructs Katz to respond harshly

Hamas fired 10 rockets at southern Israel on Sunday night in the largest such barrage in months.

Five of the ten rockets were intercepted by Israel’s air defenses, the Israel Defense Forces said, but at least one of the other five hit Ashkelon, causing damage. A 30-year-old man was lightly injured by shrapnel, and taken to the city’s Barzilai Hospital for treatment.

The Magen David Adom emergency services said that two other people were hurt while running to shelters, while several people were treated for acute anxiety following the attack.

The rockets were launched toward the coastal cities of Ashkelon and Ashdod shortly after 9 p.m. from central Gaza’s Deir al-Balah, an area where the IDF has not been operating.

Hamas claimed responsibility for the rocket barrage shortly after it was launched.

Israel immediately vowed that the terror group would pay a heavy price. Defense Minister Israel Katz — after speaking with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was en route to the US — said he had ordered the IDF to expand its renewed offensive against Hamas.

Following the attack, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman, Col. Avichay Adraee, issued an evacuation warning for Palestinian civilians in the Deir al-Balah area, saying that it was a “final warning” before the IDF carried out strikes there.

The military then said it carried out a drone strike targeting the rocket launcher used to launch the barrage.

The salvo of rockets was the largest attack launched by Hamas since the collapse of the ceasefire and hostage deal last month.

Timber!!! Trump Lets Lumber Companies Use National Forest for Lumbering — RedState
[REDSTATE] In a bold move that champions both economic growth and practical forest management, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced on Friday that it will greenlight logging in America's national forests. This decision, spearheaded by USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins, follows President Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
's executive order last month aimed at revitalizing the nation's timber industry. For Americans, this is a long-overdue step toward restoring common-sense stewardship of our natural resources while bolstering rural economies battered by years of overregulation and neglect.

America's 154 national forests span roughly 188.3 million acres, with Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, alone hosting 18 of them. These vast woodlands have been plagued by mismanagement, leaving them vulnerable to devastating wildfires, insect infestations, and disease. ''Healthy forests require work, and right now, we're facing a national forest emergency,'' Rollins declared in a statement. She's right. The data backs her up: Overgrown forests choked with deadwood have fueled catastrophic blazes in recent years, threatening lives, property, and the very ecosystems environmentalists claim to protect. Rollins' memo promises to expand timber production by 25 percent, empowering the U.S. Forest Service to cut through bureaucratic red tape and take decisive action to thin forests, reduce fire risks, and save communities.

This isn't just about trees—it's about people. Rural America, long sidelined by coastal elites and their regulatory obsessions, stands to gain the most. Logging means jobs—good, honest work for communities that have seen sawmills shutter and livelihoods vanish. By slashing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) hurdles and easing contracting burdens, the USDA is putting faith in forest managers to do what's right for the land and the people who depend on it. President Trump's March 1 order set the stage, directing Rollins and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum to prioritize timber output and sound management over endless environmental reviews. It's a refreshing rejection of the paralysis-by-analysis that has crippled resource industries for decades.

Hamas Begged Iran for $500M War Chest to Obliterate Israel — in 2021
[REDSTATE] Genocide, it seems, is expensive. On Sunday, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz released documentation indicating that Hamas
..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,...
had asked Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
for $500 million to complete the destruction of Israel. This request was made before the October 7th, 2023, attacks Hamas launched into Israel.

Defense Minister Israel Katz revealed an intelligence document on Sunday showing that Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar and Muhammad Deif had sent a letter to Iran's IRGC Quds Force commander Esmail Qaani in June 2021, seeking support for the terror group's plans to invade Israel, which were ultimately carried out on October 7, 2023.

''I am presenting here for the first time a document that was found in the tunnels of senior Hamas officials in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
, which proves a direct relationship between Iran and Yahya Sinwar and Muhammad Deif, as part of Iran's support for the Hamas plan to destroy Israel,'' Katz said in a video statement.

It's been known for some time that Iran was supporting Hamas, as well as Hezbollah, the Iran's Houthi sock puppets
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him...
s, and other Islamic terror groups. Written confirmation is good, though, and note that this was found in the tunnels of "senior Hamas officials," presumably by soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The statement was recorded during a visit to the Military Intelligence Directorate's so-called intelligence collection and technical spoils unit — known by its Hebrew acronym, ''Amshat.''

''In the document, they (the Hamas leaders) ask of the commander of the [Islamic] Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force to transfer $500 million for destroying the State of Israel,'' he said.
The Times of Israel adds:
The document shows that Hamas demanded $20 million per month from Iran over two years, “to achieve these great goals, through which we will change the face of the world.”

“We are confident that by the end of these two years, or during them, God willing, we will uproot this monstrous entity, and we will end this dark period in the history of our nation,” the letter reads.

Saeed Izadi, the head of the Palestinian Division in the IRGC, “accepted the request and replied to them that Iran, despite its difficult economic situation and the plight of the Iranian population, will continue to funnel money to Hamas, because the struggle against Israel and the US is the top priority of the Iranian regime,” Katz said.

The defense minister added that “the conclusion is clear: Iran is the head of the serpent, and despite all its denials, it is also funding and advancing terror in all areas, from Gaza, through Lebanon, Syria, Judea and Samaria [the West Bank] and now with the Houthis in Yemen, under the desire to destroy Israel.”

“Israel will do everything possible to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and will continue to hit its proxies in the region until the Iranian evil axis is crushed and defeated,” Katz said.

DOZENS PROTEST HAMAS IN JABALIA, AS ISRAELI STRIKES CONTINUE
Meanwhile, media outlets in Gaza reported a demonstration in Jabalia in northern Gaza on Sunday, with dozens of protesters chanting “Hamas are terrorists” and “Hamas are garbage.”

Two weeks ago, there were several consecutive days of anti-Hamas and anti-war demonstrations in Gaza, followed by reports that the terror had killed some of the protesters. The demonstrations were halted for a period, although they returned last week with a protest in northern Gaza.

That and the Hamas guy. What short straw must he have drawn for this task? 'You want me to ask them for WHAT?'

What could his pitch possibly be. 'Look, Ali, the organization is, uh, well streamlined. That's it, lean and mean. This time we really, really know what to do. No, I'm not kidding. Lets not stop being friends over a trifle like this. I tells ya, Ali, this train is fixing to leave the station and if you wanna be onboard you'd best break out that check book.'

Might be all that first cousin situation has hit the strategic planning sector of the jihad racket.

#4  Except that the a$$ahollah agreed to send them the funds, ans also trained and supplied them, and made a war plan that involved the West Bank, Hezbollah, and Iran itself simultaneously sending units at Israel from all directions (Hamas and Hezbollah going under the border through tunnels) while shooting off rockets and missiles at them. The only reason it didn’t work is that once again the Gazans jumped the gun, so Israel was able to somewhat deal with them one at a time instead of all at once.

Eight terrorists killed as security forces foil infiltration bid at Pak-Afghan border
[GEO.TV] At least eight turbans were neutralised as security forces successfully thwarted their bid to infiltrate through the Pakistain-Afghanistan border
...also known as Pashtunistan, home of ignorance, poverty, and automatic weapons...
in North Wazoo district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the military's media wing said on Sunday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces picked up movement of a group of murderous Moslems, who were trying to infiltrate through the Pak-Afghanistan border in the general area of Hassan Khel, North Waziristan district, on the night between April 5-6.

"Own troops effectively engaged and thwarted their attempt to infiltrate. After an intense exchange of fire, eight Khwarij [terrorists] were sent to hell, while four khwarij got injured," it added.

Pakistain has consistently been asking the interim Afghan government to ensure effective border management on their side of the border.

"Interim Afghan government is expected to fulfill its obligations and deny the use of Afghan soil by Khwarij for perpetuating acts of terrorism against Pakistain," the ISPR added.

Meanwhile,
...back at the alley, Slats Chumbaloni was staring into a hole that was just .45 inch in diameter and was less than three feet from his heavily sweating face ...
a sanitisation operation was being conducted to eliminate any other turbans found in the area as "security forces are determined and remain committed to secure its borders and wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country".

Sindh deports 307 illegal Afghans amid ongoing repatriation
[GEO.TV] At least 307 illegal Afghan immigrants colonists have been deported from Sindh so far as part of the government's policy to deport all undocumented foreign nationals, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said on Sunday.

In a statement, Memon said that the illegal immigrants colonists were repatriated from the Amin House Transit Camp after thorough verification, legal proceedings, and background checks. He said the deportees included 191 men, 37 women, and 79 children.

The federal government announced at the start of March that 800,000 Afghan Citizen Cards (ACC) would be cancelled — the second phase of a deportation programme which has already forced 800,000 undocumented Afghans across the border.

The country has been hosting millions of Afghans for around five decades. Hundreds of thousands of them returned to their country in the last few years but still over 2.1 million are living in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and other provinces.

Pakistain had set March 31 as the deadline for all the illegal Afghans as well as those who possessed ACC cards to return to their country amid rising incidents of terrorism in the country.

Last year was the deadliest year in almost a decade in Pakistain, with more than 1,600 people bit the dust in attacks — nearly half of them security forces personnel — according to the Islamabad-based Centre for Research and Security Studies.

Pakistain accuses the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
government of failing to root out murderous Moslems sheltering on Afghan soil, a charge the Taliban government denies.

The Taliban government has repeatedly called for the "dignified" return of Afghans to their country, with Prime Minister Hassan Akhund urging countries hosting Afghans not to force them out.

Arabia
Houthi official slams Trump for celebrating killing of Yemen 'villagers'
[GEO.TV] A Houthi official has condemned US President Donald Trump for boasting about blowing up ''Houthi fighters'' in Yemen, Al Jazeera reported, citing a statement issued on social media.

In a video, a group of people is struck by an air strike that leaves a large crater at the scene.

“These Houthis gathered for instructions on an attack. Oops, there will be no attack by these Houthis! They will never sink our ships again!” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

In response, Abdulrahman al-Ahnomi, head of the Houthi-run General Corporation for Radio and Television, denied Trump’s claims, saying those targeted were simply Yemeni villagers.
Now
“The US president is showing off his terrorism before the world,” he wrote on X. “Targeting a tribal gathering is not a victory, but a reflection of the US’s failure to identify any real targets.”

Israeli forces raid Kafr Malek and Kafr Nima in West Bank
[GEO.TV] Israeli forces raided the villages of Kafr Malek and Kafr Nima in the Ramallah and el-Bireh district, Al Jazeera reported, citing Wafa news agency.

Citing security sources, Wafa said, in Kafr Malek, Israeli soldiers violent mostly peacefully entered a house in the al-Hara al-Fuqa area.

Meanwhile,
...back at the shootout, Butch shot Ike through the elbow. Take that, Ike! he yelled......
in Kafr Nima, soldiers were seen deploying throughout the streets.

Israel's months-long assault on the occupied West Bank has raised fears of mass expulsion and annexation.

3 THINGS TO REMEMBER

1. Hamas started it and kept at it while hiding among the GAZA population to launch new attacks.

Note: I did not say innocence Civilians. As a vast majority of GAZA supports and hides HAMAS members.

2. Hamas and it's supporters have been caught time and time again inflating the numbers.

3. Remember, Hamas itself said, that about 70+% of the Gazan's they claimed killed were Military age Males and in areas where Hamas was hiding, and/or launched missiles attacks from.
