Yemen announces attack on US aircraft carriers, targets in ‘Israel’; Israel apparently didn’t notice
[HodhodYemenNews] The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced the launch of a precise military operation targeting a vital Israeli site in the city of Ashkelon and a military site in the Umm al-Rashrash area (Eilat).
Neither the Times of Israel nor the Jerusalem Post have anything about this as of 1:40 a.m ET.
Additionally, the Armed Forces also confirmed direct strikes on the US aircraft carriers USS Truman and USS Vinson, along with their accompanying naval units in the Red Sea, using advanced naval missiles and drones.

The Yemeni Armed Forces issued the following statement:

“In support of the oppressed Palestinian people and in rejection of the crime of genocide being waged by the Israeli enemy, with American support, against our people in Gaza.

The UAV force of Yemeni Armed Forces carried out two military operations.
The first targeted a vital Israeli enemy target in the occupied Ashkelon area using a Yaffa drone, while the second targeted an Israeli military target in the Umm al-Rashrash area in southern occupied Palestine using a Sammad-1 drone.

In retaliation to the American aggression against our country and its massacres against our people, the latest of which was the massacre in the capital, Sana’a, which left dozens of martyrs and wounded, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out two specific military operations.

The first was carried out by the missile force and UAV force against the US aircraft carrier Truman and its affiliated vessels in the northern Red Sea, using two cruise missiles and two drones.

The second was carried out by the naval, the UAV , and the missile forces, targeting the US aircraft carrier Vinson and its affiliated vessels in the Arabian Sea, using three cruise missiles and four drones.

The military operations have successfully achieved their objectives.
The Yemeni Armed Forces will persist their support operations deep within the Zionist entity in occupied Palestine at an escalating pace over the coming period.

They will also continue their military operations in the Red and Arabian Seas, targeting all hostile forces. Dozens of US airstrikes will not deter them from their supportive stance toward the oppressed Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip until the aggression against them stops and the siege is lifted.”

US bombers launched intensive airstrikes on Sunday evening, targeting the Farwah neighborhood and a popular market in the Shu’ub district, resulting in 43 deaths and injuries, according to statements by the Health Ministry.

The airstrikes also targeted the Attan area and the cleaning program project in the Asr area.

Despite the air strikes, the Yemeni Airlines plane coming from the Jordanian capital, Amman, managed to safely land at Sana’a International Airport. There were more than 300 passengers on board, most of them women and kiddies.

Somalia: Jubaland forces integrate armed militias in push for control over Gedo region
[ShabelleMedia] Paramilitary forces aligned with Somalia’s Jubaland regional administration have integrated a group of armed militias previously active in the town of Balad Hawo, as part of a renewed effort to assert control over the contested Gedo region, officials said on Monday.

The militias, reportedly left without financial support from allied local businessmen, have joined the ranks of the Jubaland Darawish forces. Ali Hassan Deeq, deputy commander of the regional force, said the fighters would now be registered as official personnel within the Jubaland security apparatus.

"They will be part of our official forces, recognised by the administration," Deeq said during a brief ceremony held in Balad Hawo.

The move comes amid ongoing tensions between the Jubaland leadership and Somalia’s federal government in Mogadishu. Jubaland’s president, Ahmed Mohammed Madobe, severed ties with the federal authorities after his disputed re-election in 2023, which was rejected by Mogadishu and deemed unconstitutional.

The federal government later issued an arrest warrant for Madobe, a move he reciprocated by issuing a similar order for Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. The rift has deepened divisions over control of southern Somalia, particularly in the Gedo region.

Somali government forces had recently deployed to the coastal town of Ras Kamboni in Lower Juba in response to Madobe’s re-election. However,

Somali President meets regional leaders over worsening security, Al-Shabaab resurgence; Somali army chief quits

bad boys.

The talks, focused on counterterrorism operations and the bad boy group’s recent resurgence, came in the wake of an al-Shabaab takeover of the central town of Adan Yabal in Middle Shabelle, approximately 245 kilometers north of Mogadishu.

Hirshabelle President Ali Hussein Gudlawe underscored the strategic importance of regaining control of Adan Yabal, describing the group’s presence there as a major challenge to his administration.

Meanwhile,
...back at the shootout, bullets whapped! around Butch as he tried to tie his scarf around his shoulder as a tourniquet......
South West President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohammed Laftagareen praised the Somali National Army for repelling a recent al-Shabaab assault near Baidoa. He said the attack had been thwarted with several bully boyz killed, their bodies later displayed publicly in the city.

President Mohamud also consulted the regional leaders on a broader political initiative aimed at engaging key stakeholders and civil society to address the country’s fragile security. The initiative seeks to coordinate efforts to retake territories currently under al-Shabaab control and reinforce the national army’s campaign.

Security in Somalia has steadily worsened in recent weeks, with an uptick in attacks targeting military bases in Hiiraan and Middle Shabelle, fueling public concern and political pressure in the capital.

Somali army chief to resign after setback in Al-Shabaab war

[Garowe] General Odowaa Yusuf Rage, the Chief of Defence Forces of the Somali National Army (SNA), who made a return recently after dismissal, has since written to President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, asking for exit from the SNA leadership.
"I'm outta here!"
Credible reports indicate that the Chief of Defence Forces is said to have written to President Hassan, expressing his intention to leave the forces, at a time the Somali National Army is facing setbacks from the battle against Al-Shabaab militants.

The Somali National Army lost strategic Adan Yabaal town in Middle Shabelle, highlighting a serious gap in the operations, with the US Africa Command forced to intervene by activating an airstrike while assisting the local forces in the fight against the group.

For this, President Mohamud is also expected to reshuffle senior military leadership to boost operations against al Shabaab, as the group has recently intensified attacks and regained control of previously lost territories.

General Odawaa Yusuf Rageh rejoined the military in November 2024 after two years of absence, having been replaced by General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhyiddin. Odowaa was brought back to spearhead the operations by the military against al-Shabaab.

If Odowaa Yusuf Rage's exit is confirmed, it would yet again deal a blow to security forces with the change on Command set to affect general organisation and strategy within the defence forces. The military is struggling to reclaim its lost glory.

This comes at the time President Hassan Sheikh opened talks at Villa Somalia with leaders of the South West, Hirshabelle, and Galmudug states. The meeting, requested by the three federal member states, comes after the loss of the military on a number of frontlines.

Next week, Hassan Sheikh has convened the National Consultative Council meeting, which shall focus on the strategies in the fight against Al-Shabaab. The government of Somalia is fighting the group with local security teams expected to take over security responsibilities in future.

Somali official calls for crackdown on families of Al-Shabaab fighters in Mogadishu
[ShabelleMedia] A senior Somali official has called on the federal government to expel the wives and children of al-Shabaab
... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...
Death Eaters from the capital, accusing them of living peacefully in Mogadishu while the group continues to carry out deadly attacks across the country.

Ali Jeyte Osman, the presidential envoy for the mobilisation of community defence forces known as Macawiisley, said it was unacceptable for the relatives of al-Shabaab members to remain in the city while the group kills innocent civilians.

"We cannot allow a situation where al-Shabaab leaders kill people every day, yet their wives and children live peacefully in the capital," Jeyte said during an inclusive interview with Shabelle TV.

The former governor of Hiran region urged the federal government to launch operations aimed at identifying and removing family members of the hard boy group from Mogadishu, arguing that doing so would send a strong message to the fighters.

"There needs to be a clear separation between areas controlled by al-Shabaab and the capital. Their families should not be allowed to stay here. They must all be arrested," he said.

Jeyte described the proposed operation as a form of psychological pressure on al-Shabaab, aimed at holding them accountable for continued bloodshed targeting civilians.

The Macawiisley militia, made up of local fighters from central Somalia, has played a key role in pushing back al-Shabaab in the Hiraan region. Jeyte, a former regional governor, has led multiple offensives that have seen government forces reclaim territory previously under hard boy control.

Al-Shabaab, an al Qaeda-linked group, has waged a deadly insurgency in Somalia for more than a decade, regularly targeting civilians, government officials and military personnel in attacks across the country. The group controls parts of southern and central Somalia despite continued offensives by Somali and African Union

US to establish two military bases in Kurdish-held areas of Syria: Rojava official
[Rudaw] The United States plans to relocate its troops in Syria to two new military bases, one near The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
-held areas and another on the Syria-Iraq border and maintain at least 400 soldiers in Kurdish-held areas, an official from the northeast Syria (Rojava) administration in Washington DC said on Monday.

Bassam Ishaq, a US-based member of the Syrian Democratic Council’s Presidential Council, told Rudaw’s Nalin Hassan that the US is carrying out a "relocation of positions," opening a new base "in northern Syria near the Tishreen Dam," with another to be established "near the Syrian-Iraqi border in the southeast, close to Deir ez-Zor."

The SDC is the political wing of the Kurdish-led, US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

Tishreen Dam, located on the Euphrates River, has been a key target in a military campaign launched by Turkey and Ottoman Turkish-backed Syrian militias since November. The aim has been to seize control of the strategic site, facilitating access to other SDF-held territories. At least 20 civilians have been killed in Ottoman Turkish dronezaps on the area.

The SDF and the new government in Damascus are in talks to hand over the control of the dam to forces affiliated with the Syrian government in a bid to end attacks by bully boys, which have ceased for weeks.

Regarding the drawdown of US troops, Ishaq emphasized that the reduction is "tactical" and "gradual," but will stop at a floor of 400 soldiers. He noted that decision-makers in Washington DC are constrained by a congressional provision prohibiting any reduction below that threshold.

A provision in the Senate Armed Services Committee’s version of the FY2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) bars the Secretary of Defense from reducing US troop levels in northeast Syria below 400 unless the Pentagon certifies that local partner forces are independently capable of degrading and defeating the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. (ISIS) threats and can detain ISIS members effectively and humanely.

A statement from Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell on Friday said that they were consolidating "to select locations in Syria," but that US forces "will remain poised to continue strikes against the remnants of ISIS in Syria."

"The issue is not only related to the SDF and the new administration in Damascus," Ishaq said. "It extends to regional security in the area. At present, there will be no complete withdrawal of US military forces from Syria."

A senior US official, speaking to The New York Times

...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

on condition of anonymity, said on Tuesday that commanders will assess whether additional downsizing will be made on top of the announced ones, noting that the commanders have already recommended keeping 500 troops in Syria.

"The United States aims at downsizing its forces to below one thousand in the next two or three months," a US defense official told Rudaw on Friday.

The US increased its troop numbers in Syria from 900 to around 2,000 after a coalition of Salafist tough guys led by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else

’s regime on December 8. The White House described the deployment as a temporary measure to prevent ISIS from regaining a foothold in the country.

Despite the uptick, US President Donald Trump
...They hit him with slander, they impeached him twice. Nancy Pelosi tore up his State of the Union address on national TV. They stole an election and put his adherents in jail. They vilified him. They couldn't crucify him, so they shot him. Still, they can't keep him down...
said in February, "We're not involved in Syria. Syria's its own mess... They don't need us involved," adding that a "determination" on troop levels would be made later, without providing further details.

US forces in Syria remain the main backers of the SDF, which territorially defeated ISIS in 2019, ending the group’s so-called caliphate. SDF Commander Mazloum Abdi has repeatedly warned that a premature US withdrawal could enable an ISIS resurgence.

Kurdish forces in northeast Syria fear that ISIS may be regrouping, exploiting instability following the decline of Assad’s regime and the shifting dynamics in the country.

On March 10, the SDF reached an agreement with new authorities in Damascus to integrate into the Syrian national armed forces.

According to Ishaq, negotiations are ongoing over logistical matters related to how the institutions of the Kurdish-led Democratic Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria (DAANES) will be integrated into those of the new Syrian state.

"The same applies to the military issue," he added, referring to discussions about integrating the SDF into the Syrian Ministry of Defense.

Iraq
Iraq showcases locally made surveillance drones at defense expo in Baghdad
[Rudaw] Iraq’s Defense Industries Commission (DIC) exhibited domestically produced drones during a two-day security and defense exhibition in Baghdad to bolster border surveillance and internal security.

"We have started building drones used for surveillance," DIC Chairman Mustafa Aati told Rudaw during the second day of the event on Sunday.

The drone weighs 60 kilograms, has a wingspan of 4.8 meters, and can fly at distances between one to three kilometers. It can remain airborne for five to six hours, cover a range of around 80 kilometers, and be deployed within 20 minutes.

"We also have contracts with security agencies to increase it [drone production], which will be made use of for border surveillance and internal security," he added. "We have the right to build drones within the framework of the objectives that the security forces need."

Around 150 domestic and international companies participated in the exhibition. Among them, Iran

The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. displayed a range of drones and both heavy and light weapons, expressing readiness to expand support for Iraq.

According to Iranian political and security analyst Amir Mousavi, who spoke to Rudaw at the event, Iran’s participation signals that it has "opened the door to providing assistance with all its military and security capabilities, especially in the areas of border security, electronic issues, and the supply of drones, to control sensitive and remote areas on the border, as well as desert and mountainous regions."

In late March, the DIC announced it had saved $700 million over the past two years by manufacturing weapons and ammunition locally, reducing reliance on imports.

In September 2019, Iraq’s legislature passed a bill to establish the DIC with aims of expanding military production. Iraq’s interior minister last September showcased the first batch of domestically produced armored vehicles manufactured by the commission.

More than 90 Yazidi families return to Shingal
[Rudaw] More than 90 Yazidi families have returned to Shingal (Sinjar), their homeland in northern Iraq, the country’s migration ministry announced on Monday.

The Spokesperson for the Iraqi Ministry of Migration and Displacement Ali Jahangir told Rudaw that 92 Yazidi families had returned to Shingal on Sunday, from Chamishko camp in the Kurdistan Region’s Duhok province.

In June 2014, the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) seized control of large swathes of territory in Iraq’s north and west. A little over a month later, in August, the group launched a wide-scale attack against the Yazidi community in Iraq's northern Shingal.

During the August 2014 assault, ISIS killed and kidnapped around 9,900 Yazidis. Recognizing the systematic targeting of the Yazidis as genocidal, the United Nations
...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks...
also reported that up to 200,000 Yazidis were displaced from Shingal, many of whom settled in camps across Dohuk.

Jahangir told Rudaw on Monday that "at the beginning of 2024, there were 31,000 displaced [Shingal] Sinjar families in the Kurdistan Region’s camps; however, now 21,000 [Yazidi] families are still there."

According to Jahangir, the migration ministry will provide returning Yazidi families with four million dinars (around $3,000) in financial assistance, as well as some essential household appliances to get by, including a refrigerator, stove, and television.

"Currently, only household appliances are being provided to the returning families, while the financial assistance will be distributed soon, following the approval of the [Iraqi] finance ministry," he explained.

Though more than 10 years have passed since ISIS launched its attack on Shingal, much of the Yazidi community remains displaced. Their return has been hindered by a combination of security concerns, political disputes, and infrastructure and reconstruction challenges. The presence of various gangs has also created an unstable environment, further deterring many Yazidis from returning.

Security spending at many US Jewish schools has soared since Oct. 7 — study
[IsraelTimes] Security spending has surged at many US Jewish schools since Hamas’s October 2023 attack on Israel, a study says.

Teach Coalition, a division of the Orthodox Union that operates in seven US states, compares spending at some of its member schools in the 2024-2025 school year to the 2022-2023 school year.

Average spending went from $184,228 per school to $339,297 per school, an 84% increase, the study finds. Per-pupil costs went from $445 to $807.

In New York, security spending doubled. The average New York school has spent $569,789 on security since the October 7 onslaught, an increase of 99%. Per-pupil spending increased 102%.

The top spending category is for security guards, accounting for 69% of security costs, followed by property improvements such as doors, and equipment such as radios and cameras.

Security has gone up from 1.85% of the schools’ total budget to 3.09%. Security costs increased at close to 10 times the rate of other costs, the survey says.

Smaller schools spend less in total on security, but have higher per-pupil expenses. Schools with fewer than 100 students have spent an average of $1,735 per student since October 7.

The researchers collated data provided by 63 schools in February and March. Most of the schools are in Florida and New York, while others are in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The schools range in size and enroll a total of 26,473 students, representing 10% of the total Jewish school enrollment in those states.

The responding schools are all among the members of the Orthodox Union’s Teach Coalition, meaning they are likely not representative of the US Jewish school system as a whole.
In Europe I suspect they’ve borne such expenses during the entire post-War era, long predating the arrival of the recent wave of Moslem colonists. Following 9/11 my synagogue hardened the building and hired off-duty police as an everyday thing — not just for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. In about 2010 they reconfigured the building to meet the changing needs of the congregation, donating space for a satellite police station off the entrance for the convenience of the local force — in exchange for a full time police presence. Win-win!

Also, many US Churches that run k1-to H12 private schools, are doing the same.

Our church recently spent serious money to add additional Physical security measures to each classroom. Measures that protect students in case of the usual mentally Ill wacko deciding to target kids.

Irish band Kneecap projects ‘F*ck Israel’ on Coachella music festival stage, Nova Festival responds
[IsraelTimes] Group accuses US government of enabling Israel to commit ‘genocide’ in Gaza Strip, makes good on promise to repeat remarks that were cut from livestream a week earlier

Irish band Kneecap projected anti-Israel messages above the stage on Saturday as it performed at the Coachella music festival in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, including accusations of genocide.

The band had delivered similar remarks in a performance last week that were apparently cut from the festival’s livestream of the event.

When Kneecap took to the stage at one of the world’s best-known music festivals, a large screen displayed "Israel is committing genocide against the Paleostinian people."

"It is being enabled by the US who arm and fund Israel despite their war crimes," the message continued. "Fuck Israel Free Paleostine."

"The Paleostinians have nowhere to go," band member Mo Chara told the crowd. "It’s their fucking home. And they’re bombing them from the skies. If you’re not calling it a genocide what the fuck are you calling it?"

He went on to lead the crowd in chants of "Free Paleostine."

Leftist social media influencer Hasan Piker joined the performers onstage as they delivered the messages, live-streaming the moment on his own Twitch channel, where he has some 2.7 million followers in addition to over a million more on other social media platforms.

The onstage display was broadcast live on various internet feeds, Channel 12 reported, though it was not clear if the festival’s official broadcast carried it.

Last weekend Kneecap delivered its initial performance at the festival, using its time onstage to heap scorn on the late British prime minister Margaret Thatcher, and leading the crowd in chanting "Maggie’s in a box."

At the time, the band also made remarks about a "genocide" in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
. However,
we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by...
the livestream of the remarks on both topics was cut, the NME reported.

"Not the only thing that was cut — our messaging on the US-backed genocide in Gaza somehow never appeared on screens either," the band later posted to X. Israel strongly refutes all accusations of genocide.

"Back next Friday Coachella and it’ll be sorted," they added along with a Paleostinian flag.

The following day, US rock band Green Day used its performance at the California festival to apparently criticize Israel, changing the lyrics of one of its songs to make a reference about children in the Gaza Strip.

In the song "Jesus of Suburbia," lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong sang "Running away from pain like the kids from Paleostine," instead of the original "Runnin’ away from pain when you’ve been victimized," drawing cheers from the crowd.

The band has a history of politically charged messaging. Last month at a concert in Melbourne, Armstrong changed a lyric in the same song to sing ""Am I retarded or am I just JD Vance?" the UK’s Jewish News reported.

Tensions are high between Ireland and Israel. Israel closed its embassy in Ireland in December, citing "extreme anti-Israel policy of the Irish government." Dublin joined South Africa at the International Court of Justice in its genocide case against Israel.

The war in Gaza was sparked by the Hamas
..a regional Iranian catspaw,...
terror group’s October 7, 2023, invasion of southern Israel in which some 1,200 people were killed and 251 were taken hostage.

Many on social media made the connection between the performance at Coachella, and the massacre at the Nova festival.

During the October 7, 2023, shock attack, more than 100 Hamas Death Eaters stumbled upon the Nova music festival, an outdoor overnight rave taking place near the Gaza border community of Re’im, where they brutally massacred and kidnapped partygoers.

In all, 344 civilians who attended the Nova party and 34 security personnel were killed during the attack, which included sexual crimes and other brutal acts. The Death Eaters kidnapped another 44 to the Gaza Strip.

A day later, Bono, the frontman of Irish band U2, paid a moving tribute to those murdered at the desert rave. At a show at the Las Vegas Sphere, Bono dedicated the song "Pride" to "those beautiful kids at that music festival."
Yesterday, we told you about a truly repugnant display at the Coachella Music Festival this past weekend from Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap. We hate to repeat their utterly depraved words, but the giant electronic sign they displayed only contained four words: 'F--- Israel, Free Palestine.'

If they had just included the 'Free Palestine' portion of that slogan, we probably wouldn't even have paid it any mind. Musical artists, like actors, are generally removed from reality, and they love to shout slogans of 'the current thing.' But the fact that they included the first half of the message -- at a MUSIC festival, no less -- was beyond the pale.

This is who Kneecap is, though. In the past, the band has embraced IRA terrorists and paraded the severed head of a statue of King George V in Australia.

As much as this band makes us want to weep for humanity, this morning, a group called The Tribe of Nova Foundation -- which honors all of the young people who were murdered, raped, and kidnapped by Hamas tarrorists on Oct. 7 -- showed everyone a better way.

They didn't respond in kind with hate, threats, or insults as they could have -- and many would have -- justifiably done. They simply invited Kneecap to come and visit them to find out what actually happened to young festivalgoers on Oct. 7.

Here is the full statement:

It is a beautiful statement and a gracious invitation based on love and understanding, not hate.

And almost certainly one that will go ignored by the members of Kneecap.

At Coachella, Kneecap showed the world who and what they are.
As did Coachella.
This morning, the Tribe of Nova did the same.

We know which side we choose.

'US invokes RICO law in charging more alleged Venezuelan gang members
(Reuters) - More than two dozen people whom the U.S. government says are current or past members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua have been charged with murder, sex trafficking and other crimes under a federal law created to combat organized crime, the U.S. Justice Department said on Monday.

The Justice Department said in a written statement that it was the first time alleged members of the criminal gang that originated in Venezuelan prisons had faced charges under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, or RICO.

U.S. President Donald Trump was elected last November in part because of his anti-immigration stance. The charges against the 27 people are part of a broader push by the president to prosecute and deport alleged members of foreign criminal gangs operating in the country.

Trump's administration has designated Tren de Aragua and other criminal gangs as foreign terrorist organizations.

In March Trump invoked a seldom-used wartime law, the Alien Enemies Act, to deport hundreds of alleged Tren de Aragua members to a notoriously brutal prison in El Salvador without going through normal deportation procedures.

'UPDATE: El Salvador Blocks Four U.S. Democrats from Meeting with Deported MS-13 Suspect
[Townhall] The four Democratic lawmakers who traveled to El Salvador in an attempt to meet with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, deported last month by the Trump administration, were blocked by local authorities, who cited that the visit was not officially authorized.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) confirmed on X that El Salvador refused to meet with the group of Democratic lawmakers after their arrival.

"El Salvador just denied Democrats from meeting with the MS-13 gang member because they didn't travel to the country in an official capacity. I will never authorize a penny of taxpayer dollars to send Democrats to El Salvador for a photo-op & margaritas," Comer wrote on X.

In a move that perfectly captures the Democratic Party’s warped priorities, more left-wing lawmakers are traveling to El Salvador to advocate for Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a deported illegal immigrant with alleged ties to MS-13, a history of domestic abuse accusations, and suspected involvement in human trafficking. Instead of standing with law-abiding American citizens, these Democrats are going out of their way to defend a criminal alien, proving once again that protecting the border and enforcing immigration laws are the last things on their agenda.

Teen syndrome that FSU shooter was being medicated for when he opened fire in campus rampage
Emotional dysregulation is a brain-related symptom that means you have trouble managing your feelings and emotions. It’s often a sign of conditions that affect your brain or differences in how your brain developed or works today. It’s usually not a serious condition except when severe. Many of the causes are treatable.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The student accused of shooting two people dead at Florida State University had been diagnosed with emotional dysregulation.

But Phoenix Ikner, 20, had come off the prescription medication at the time of the rampage, a source told CNN.

Ikner was identified by police as the suspect responsible for fatally gunning down two people and injuring six others at the Tallahassee campus last week.

The FSU student opened fire using his Sheriff's Deputy stepmom's handgun, according to investigators.

Police are yet to establish a motive and said it is too early to state whether his condition played any role in the shooting.

Ikner allegedly began firing at random and did not have any connection to the victims, investigators said.

Aramark Collegiate Hospitality regional vice president Tiru Chabba and FSU dining coordinator Robert Morales were identified as the two fatalities.

The suspect was also injured during the shooting and was taken to the hospital where he remains with 'significant' but not life-threatening injuries.

Four bloodcurdling words of girl, 11, as Florida man filmed pinning her to the ground
Horrified bystanders urged others to call 911 as they filmed an 11-year-old girl being pinned to the ground
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Sickening footage captured the moment an 11-year-old Florida girl screamed for help as she was pinned to the ground by a man.

'I wasn't doing anything,' she screamed as shocked bystanders filmed the incident, adding in a bloodcurdling plea: 'I swear to God.'

'Help me, help me,' she continued, as the man on top of her appeared to try and keep her pinned between his legs while taking his phone from his pocket.

The man was arrested at the scene and was later named as Marius Mutu, 43, a military veteran who worked at the Florida Department of Children and Families, according to his LinkedIn.

In footage from a witness filming from a balcony, the suspect was seen holding her to the ground in a bushy area near Allison Park in Tampa, Florida.

Witnesses were heard urging others to call 911, and when deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department arrived, they placed Mutu under arrest.

He reportedly told deputies that the situation escalated after someone had been throwing eggs at his apartment for the past week, and believed the girl was responsible when it happened again, reports WTSP.

Mutu was arrested on April 19 and is now facing charges of battery and false imprisonment.

According to the sheriff's department, Mutu had been complaining of vandals throwing eggs at his apartment for a week leading up to the incident.

'When it happened again that day, he assumed the girl walking nearby was responsible,' authorities said.

According to investigators, Mutu then chased her down and forced her to the ground as he attempted to take a photo of the child to report her to his apartment management.

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said after the arrest that the acts seen in the shocking footage are 'not only unacceptable, its reprehensible.'

'The safety of our children is non-negotiable,' Chronister said in a statement.

'This child endured a terrifying and traumatic experience at the hands of someone who chose to take matters into his own hands. We remain committed to protecting our children and ensuring those who harm them are held fully accountable.'

According to his LinkedIn profile, Mutu was most recently worked for the Florida Department of Children and Families.

He listed his employment as a Child Protection Investigator from August 2024 to January of this year, where he said he would 'apply strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.'

Mutu has also worked as a correctional officer, security guard, and spent 10 years in the United States Air Force.

According to the sheriff's department's arrest records, Mutu was released on a $6,000 bond. It is not clear when he will be back in court.

US military stationed at the border in New Mexico National Defense Area can detain illegal migrants
[FoxNews] Service members with the Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB) will conduct several security measures in the New Mexico National Defense Area

Military members stationed in and around portions of the southern border have been given the authority to temporarily detain and search illegal migrants.

Service members with the Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB) are now authorized to conduct several security measures in the New Mexico National Defense Area (NMNDA), U.S. Northern Command said Monday. The NMNDA is part of the U.S. Army's Fort Huachuca military installation.

The move allows the U.S. military to serve in a more active law enforcement role than in years past. Military personnel have typically been prevented from participating in civilian law enforcement activities such as search, seizure, or arrest.

As part of their new duties, the service members can search and temporarily detain trespassers on the NMNDA, as well as provide medical care and implement crowd control measures, until appropriate law enforcement can take them into custody.

Task force members can also assist with the installation of temporary barriers, signage, and fencing upon request.

"Through these enhanced authorities, U.S. Northern Command will ensure those who illegally trespass in the New Mexico National Defense Area are handed over to Customs and Border Protection or our other law enforcement partners," said USNORTHCOM Gen. Gregory Guillot. "Joint Task Force-Southern Border will conduct enhanced detection and monitoring, which will include vehicle and foot patrols, rotary wing, and fixed surveillance site operations."

USNORTHCOM was named as the Defense Department's operational lead for the employment of U.S. military forces to carry out President Donald Trump’s southern border executive orders.

Last week, Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum visited New Mexico to announce that the Army will take control of nearly 110,000 acres of federal land along the U.S.-Mexico border as part of the Trump administration's efforts to curb illegal immigration and trafficking.

The 109,651 acres of federal land will be transferred to the Army for three years, subject to valid existing rights.

The switch in jurisdiction will allow the government to protect sensitive natural and cultural resources in the region, while helping the Army support U.S. Border Patrol operations in securing the border and preventing illegal immigration, according to the Department of the Interior.

In March, the Defense Department authorized the military to patrol the southern border to provide "enhanced detection and monitoring" to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

"Any law enforcement actions to apprehend individuals suspected of illegal entry must be conducted only by non-DoD law enforcement personnel and National Guard personnel in a non-federalized status accompanying these patrols," the DOD said at the time.

Magnificent Stephen Miller Blows Up the Left's Birthright Citizenship Fallacy
[PJ] It's no secret 'round the PJ Media water cooler that I have a massive brain-crush on Stephen Miller, who's currently serving as Trump's deputy chief of staff. I love to see a man stand up straight, look the lefties right in the eye, and explain the truth to them, in searing clarity and with barely suppressed condescension that is richly deserved in the face of their ignorance on whatever matter is at hand.

For example, he did this just last week when he schooled the woke media on the matter of Saint Kilmar of Maryland. You only need to watch the first 20 seconds of this clip to see what I mean (but if you are lingering over your coffee, there are ten more minutes of intellectual spanking to savor and enjoy).

Right now, there is an existentially important issue in play — President Trump's executive order, "Protecting the Meaning and Value of American Citizenship." The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to decide whether Trump can proceed with enforcing this revolutionary policy:

DOGE is granted untapped access to more than 3.5million people's immigrants sensitive data
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Elon Musk's controversial Department of Government Efficiency has been granted access to the sensitive data of millions of immigrants dating back to the 1990s.

It is the latest extraordinary development in the Trump administration's far-reaching efforts to track down and deport illegal immigrants using any tools at the government's disposal.

The Justice Department granted a DOGE request to the Executive Office for Immigration Review's Courts and Appeals System, known as ECAS, according to the Washington Post.

This database contains names, addresses, immigration testimony and court records of countless migrants - both documented and undocumented.
Illegals have no right to privacy — especially when their lawbreaking is being examined. Ditto those who lied on their application or who committed acts once here that should have resulted in their legal application being rejected. Those here legally who did not break the law will be ignored by these particular DOGE file searches.
While there is no explicit number confirming how many people are impacted, the system is reportedly dealing with a backlog of 3.5million cases.

This means that at an absolute minimum, DOGE staffers will now have access to unprecedented information about every single person and case.

Beyond that, a source with knowledge of the ECAS accounts told the publication the system contains information about immigrants dating back to the 1990s.

'It's every record of every interaction immigrants have had with the U.S. government in any way,' the official said.

Mexican sewage gushing into Navy SEAL training waters is US' 'next Camp Lejeune,' vets warn; UPDATE: EPA sect’y Lee Zeldin flies out to handle it
[FoxNews] 'It's a crisis. It's a FEMA-level travesty,' vet says of Mexican sewage crisis
If it were a new problem, it would be a crisis. Since Mexico has been allowing this to happen all along the border for decades without a care, it is merely an unacceptable situation that was accepted long ago. A wealthy California community even donated a water treatment plant to their counterpart across the border at one point, I understand, without it resulting in any improvement, suggesting the problem might actually be intentional. But perhaps this time the Trump team can make a difference…

Update from the Daily Signal at 4:00 p.m. ET:
Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin is flying out to San Diego Tuesday to address a “public health and environmental crisis” regarding sewage on the U.S.-Mexico border on Earth Day.

“There is nowhere more important for me to be tomorrow than on the border in California, dealing with this very important public health and environmental crisis,” Zeldin told reporters at a Monday morning news conference ahead of his flight.

“For decades, there has been raw sewage that’s been traveling across the border and Americans are very concerned with regard to beach closures, degradation of the Tijuana River Valley, concerns with public air, health quality,” Zeldin noted. “It’s been going on for too long, and we have to urgently and deliberately pursue and implement a solution that permanently ends this.”

Earlier this month, Mexico completed its San Antonio de los Buenos Wastewater Treatment Plant, which treats approximately 18 million gallons of sewage per day, the Coronado Times reported. The U.S. is rehabilitating and expanding its treatment plant, the South Bay International Wastewater Treatment Plant, in a project that launched last fall and is projected to take five years to complete.

The International Boundary and Water Commission reported on April 9 that Mexico would start releasing five million gallons a day of sewage into the Tijuana River for the next five days as authorities repair a critical junction box that forms part of the International Collector project.

That flow partly abated a few days later, but many beaches in Coronado, the coastal city next to San Diego, remained closed as of Saturday.

Zeldin told reporters that he will meet with Mexico’s environmental secretary, and he will host a news conference with Navy SEALs, who have gotten sick due to the contamination. He will also visit a local wastewater treatment facility, meet with businesses and elected officials, and take a helicopter tour of the border.

In December, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, touted President Joe Biden signing a bill allocating $250 million for the wastewater project.

When asked about that funding, Zeldin mentioned another source of funding—the U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement that President Donald Trump signed in November 2018 and which went into force in July 2020.

The EPA head said Mexico had failed to obligate $88 million for projects on the Mexican side, under the USMCA.

The solution is to stop having Baja Mexicans manage and operating the pumping stations - they are proven not capable of it.

Government Corruption
Nadine Menendez -- wife of ex-Sen. ''Gold Bar'' Bob Menendez --convicted of sprawling bribery scheme
[NYPOST] Nadine Menendez was convicted Monday of cooking up a crooked scheme with her husband — ex-New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez — to sell out his political post for gold bars, a Mercedes-Benz and other bribes.

Jurors found the 58-year-old Englewood Cliffs resident guilty of all 15 federal corruption charges against her following about eight hours of deliberations over two days.

Wearing all-black save for a pink mask over her face, Nadine showed no discernible emotion as the jury foreman read out the guilty verdict inside a sparsely filled Manhattan federal courtroom.

Death toll from Israeli genocide war on Gaza rises to 51,240 — Hodhod Yemen News Agency
Darwin is winning. Next time don't start a war with Israel, O Gazans, and magically you won’t be killed.
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Monday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli military operations against Palestinians has risen to 51,240, with 116,931 wounded since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statement, the ministry confirmed that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 39 martyrs and 62 wounded over the past 24 hours due to the ongoing operations.

The ministry also clarified that the numbers since the resumption of these operations on March 18 reached 1,864 martyrs and 4,860 wounded.

It noted that some victims are still under the rubble of destroyed homes and in the streets, where ambulance and civil defense teams are facing difficulty reaching them.

Members of the UN mission expressed their deep dismay at the extent of the destruction, stressing that their visit aims to document violations in accordance with international humanitarian law and that they are preparing a neutral and objective report to be submitted to the relevant UN agencies.

The Salif Port and Ras Issa Port are considered one of the most prominent maritime outlets for the import of basic materials, and their targeting has disrupted operational operations.

This comes amid international warnings of the increasing intensity of the humanitarian crisis in the event of continued targeting and siege

regnum.ru has the best all around news coverage of news from Russia and elsewhere. It would take considerably more time for me to scope out the non military operation news from sources such as ria.ru and rt.ru

Western news sources in their Ukrainian war reporting, in my opinion, are every bit as state run as regnum.ru

They do not provide and accurate picture of what is happening on the battlefield.

If you study the Russian military tendencies, you will find that, save for the occasional reverses, Russia has accurate reporting of what is happening on the battlefield.

The best part of this is that YOU can submit your own articles from whatever source you want, and, if it is up to our standards, it will be published.

Aoun: Lebanese no longer want war, arms issue to be approached calmly — Naharnet
[NAHARNET] President Joseph Aoun stressed Sunday that the Lebanese ''no longer want war,'' adding that the thorny issue of Hezbollah's arms will be addressed in calm and responsible manner.

''This issue cannot be approached through the media and social networking websites. It needs a responsible, calm and patriotic approach and it needs communication without provocation,'' Aoun said in a response to a news hound's question about the latest statements by top Hezbollah officials. He was speaking in Bkirki after taking part in Easter Sunday Mass and meeting with Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi.

''In this issue, the most important thing is the country's higher interest,'' the president added.

''When I mentioned arms in the inaugural speech, I was not talking to talk — I'm convinced that the Lebanese no longer want war, cannot bear it and cannot withstand the rhetoric of war,'' Aoun went on to say.

''Our armed forces must be in charge of bearing weapons and we will implement the decision of limiting arms to the hands of the state,'' the president said.

''The train of Leb
...Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects....
's rise has set off and no one will obstruct this start,'' Aoun reassured.

Israel warns its citizens abroad about planned global protests over Gaza Tuesday
[IsraelTimes] Israelis should not display national symbols, says National Security Council, which is expecting pro-Palestinian protests around the world; Hamas calls for West Bank campus rallies

Israel on Monday alerted its nationals abroad to take caution ahead of mass pro-Paleostinian protests planned worldwide for Tuesday, warning that the demonstrations could spark violence against Israelis.

The warning from the National Security Council (NSC) came after over 18 months in which Jews and Israelis around the world have been repeatedly targeted in attacks linked to the war against Hamas
..a regional Iranian catspaw,...
in Gazoo.

In a statement, the NSC said that it had "identified many calls online to hold events and protests in countries around the world led by various pro-Paleostinian groups."

"These events may turn violent mostly peaceful against Israelis," the statement warned, adding that "terror supporters and lone wolves could integrate into protests in order to carry out attacks."

The NSC advised Israelis abroad to obey local security services, notify them in case of distress, not display Israeli symbols in public, avoid protests, and remain alert.

Such specific NSC warnings are relatively rare and based on concrete intelligence.

Hamas last week called for protests across the globe over the weekend, though these were not accompanied by a warning.

On Monday, a senior Hamas official called on Paleostinians in the West Bank, particularly in universities, to hold "angry marches" and mass events across the territory on Tuesday in protest of Israel’s "war of extermination."

In a message on the terror group’s Telegram, Abdel Rahman Shadid argued that "the student movement in the West Bank must play a role in stopping the genocide and taking urgent action for Gaza in all squares and universities, in light of the ongoing war of extermination, and in continuing the heroic battle of the Flood of al-Aqsa" — Hamas’s name for its October 7, 2023, massacre in Israel that sparked the war.

Hamas also called for "escalating all forms of resistance to confront the occupation’s aggression and displacement plans in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem."

Israel’s warning to nationals abroad was issued amid a dramatic rise in protests, calls for violence, and attacks on Israelis in the last year and a half following the Hamas-led October 7 attacks and the subsequent war, notably in Amsterdam in November when 10 people were maimed after angry mobs chased Israeli soccer fans through the city, forcing hundreds to hide in their hotels.

Hamas has previously called on Paleostinians and their supporters around the world to protest Israel, calling for "days of rage" immediately following the October 7 onslaught, in which some 1,200 were killed and 251 were taken hostage, and after the liquidation of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh
...became Prime Minister of Gaza after the legislative elections of 2006 which Hamas won. President Mahmoud Abbas dismissed Haniyeh from office on 14 June 2007 at the height of the Fatah-Hamas festivities, but Haniyeh did not acknowledge the decree and continued as the PM of Gazoo while Abbas maintained a separate PM in the West Bank. Zapped during the 2023-24 war, to eveyone's satisfaction...
in August 2024.

Pro-Paleostinian, anti-Israel groups, including student groups at Western universities, have adopted this practice and had even called for their own "days of rage" to commemorate the first anniversary of the October 7 assault in October 2024, including vigils, lectures and protests.

Widespread protests have been held by students for the last year and a half, some of which resulted in harassment and violence against Jewish and Israeli students.

2 arrested, several hurt by cops at rally against PM after Shin Bet head’s court filing
”Mostly peaceful”, no doubt. Tiresome, definitely. And probably between half and an order of magnitude fewer protesters than claimed.
[IsraelTimes] “Thousands”
…scare quotes mine…
gather in Tel Aviv, say Netanyahu ‘unfit’ to serve after Ronin Bar said premier urged him to curb protesters; mounted police whip photojournalist, allegedly hurt protest leader.

Thousands of anti-government protesters rallied at Tel Aviv’s Habima Square Monday night in an impromptu demonstration called after Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a court filing of having sought to use the domestic security agency against activists opposed to the premier.

“The Shin Bet chief revealed today a dangerous attempt by Netanyahu to turn the Shin Bet into a tyrannical tool for persecuting Israeli citizens. He ordered monitoring of citizens, asked for information about them, and in secret talks demanded that the Shin Bet head obey him rather than the law,” a statement from protest leaders said, summing up some of the details included in Bar’s court submission.

“This is a clear and immediate danger to Israeli democracy, posed by someone whose office received money from Qatar, Hamas’s chief sponsor, during wartime,” they argued, echoing suspicions at the basis of the Qatargate affair.

“Netanyahu has lost all legitimacy to lead,” they charged. “He’s unfit to serve.”

Speakers at the event included The Democrats party leader Yair Golan, former defense minister Moshe Ya’alon, and various protest leaders.

A group of lawyers who give pro bono representation to anti-government activists said two protesters were arrested at the Begin-HaHashmonaim intersection and taken to central Tel Aviv’s Lev police station.

According to Haaretz, they were among a group of protesters who marched from Habima toward the Ayalon Highway. The two were detained after sitting down on the street and refusing police orders to clear the road, Haaretz reported.

A mounted police officer appeared to whip a Haaretz photojournalist during the stormy protest. Several videos uploaded to social media showed a policeman on horseback hitting Itai Ron with his riding crop, causing Ron to lurch backwards.

Footage showed mounted officers bumping up against protesters who had already vacated the road and were standing on the sidewalk, in compliance with the police orders.

When marchers reached Begin Road, Lev Tel Aviv station chief Deputy Superintendent Micha Gafni declared the demonstration illegal and called for the “arrests of the protest leaders” through a megaphone.

A police horse also trampled on the foot of prominent anti-Netanyahu activist Moshe Radman, who required treatment from a volunteer medic, organizers said.

Bar was fired in a cabinet decision on March 21 at Netanyahu’s recommendation after the prime minister said he had lost faith in Bar’s ability to do his job.

The High Court of Justice froze Bar’s dismissal and told the government and the Attorney General’s Office to work out a solution for resolving the procedural failures, while also inviting Bar to submit his version of events to the court.

Bar submitted an eight-page public statement on Monday via the State Attorney’s Office, along with a 31-page classified statement with five appendices providing greater detail and documentation of his claims.
Mr. Bar was clearly insubordinate, and should have been fired for that alone, never mind compounding factors.

#2  Grom, do you remember during the anti-judicial reform protests (same people, different putative cause) when the protest leaders flew to America to meet with a group of rich Progressive donors to work out approaches and funding? One of them was Daniel Lubetzky, who founded PeaceWorks in the 1990s and the OneVoice Movement in 2002, and I believe went on to support the anti-Bibi Victory2015 effort. He’s apparently been quietly advocating here at home against the Hamas protesters since 10/7. He and a group of his friends helped New York City’s Mayor Adams see that what was going on at Columbia U is unacceptable.

[GEO.TV] A teenager has been maimed by Israeli live fire during a military raid on the town of Idhna, west of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, Al Jazeera reported, citing a report.

The Wafa news agency reported that Israeli forces stormed Idhna, firing live ammunition, stun grenades and tear gas canisters.

As a result of the attack, a 16-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen and transferred to hospital while several other people suffered from tear gas inhalation and were treated at the scene.

Israeli soldiers also detained a young man after he was maimed.

At least six terrorists killed in KP IBOs: ISPR
[GEO.TV] At least six bad boyz were potted during two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) by security forces in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.

According to the military's media wing, security forces conducted an operation in the general area of Razmak in North Wazoo district on the reported presence of terrorists.

"During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location, resultantly, five khwarij were sent to hell," the ISPR said.

In another IBO in South Waziristan District, security forces neutralised ring leader Zabi Ullah Zakran, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well as in murder of innocent civilians.

It noted the slain ring leader was "highly wanted" by the law enforcement agencies.

Meanwhile,

Ammunition for the war in Ukraine
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Text taken from the Telegram channel of c

[ColonelCassad] The UK plans to increase production of hexogen by 16 times, The Times reports with reference to the defense company BAE Systems. We are talking about the explosive substance that underlies the 155 mm caliber shells that have been actively used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2022. Ukrainian artillery uses these shells both on the front line and shells frontline Russian cities. They were used, among other things, to disrupt the Easter truce.

155 mm ammunition has become the central consumable of this war. Germany purchased them from Rheinmetall, the US shipped them from its warehouses and increased its own production for this purpose. After delivering 500,000 shells, Britain came to the obvious conclusion - it was no longer possible to wage such a war at the same pace - and began to repeatedly expand its capacities, including key components such as hexogen.

Kiev's critical dependence on these munitions led to an obvious step - an attempt to expand production within the country. In 2024, Ukrainian Defense Minister Umerov announced the launch of a joint line with Western countries for the production of 155-mm shells on Ukrainian territory. More than six months have passed since then. What exactly has been built is unknown. No one names the volumes, locations, or launch dates. And it is no coincidence: such a goal will be one of the first on the list of priorities for the Russian Aerospace Forces. Building a workshop to then have it torn apart by a Kinzhal is a dubious investment, especially by Western standards.

However, the British transition to their own production is much more rational than it might seem. Refusing to import hexogen from the US or France gives Great Britain production independence in the production chain of 155-mm shells. This is not only and not so much about reducing costs or accelerating logistics, but about the fact that by producing ammunition at home, London is freed from the need to request permission from Washington for export. This means that it can supply them to Ukraine directly and without foreign policy restrictions. In this case, production sovereignty is both military flexibility and a lever of influence.

At the same time, this decision fits into a general trend: more and more expenses for the Ukrainian war are being shifted to the Europeans. The United States is cutting supplies, and Europe is forced not only to “wear out” its ally, but also to finance the entire infrastructure for waging a protracted conflict. The longer the war lasts, the higher the demand for shells, explosives and components. And while Europe still pays, Britain is doing everything to ensure that this money remains in its defense sector and does not go to the United States.

However, increasing the production of hexogen is not just an industrial step. It is a political statement: London is claiming the same role that the United States played for more than three years of the conflict - the role of the main coordinator, organizer and beneficiary. The production of explosives, ammunition, armored vehicles and drones turns Britain into the core of military support for Ukraine, through which all issues pass - from determining the volume of supplies to political decisions.

In fact, Great Britain is now not just helping Ukraine — it is replacing the weakening role of the United States and turning into an independent (and one of the strongest) center for conflict management. This is no longer a story about an ally out of solidarity, but the plans of a predatory player who sees the war as an economic and strategic asset. The transition to independent hexogen production will be followed by other military decisions. Thanks to them, the British Empire of the 21st century is actually laying the foundation for its own military model of Europe, where money goes mainly into its pocket, decisions are made in London, and blood is still shed by other people's hands. The Ukrainian war is becoming a British project. And this transformation is no longer a tactical maneuver, but a long-term calculation.

RFK Jr. To Ban Petroleum-Based Food Dyes
[DAILYWIRE] Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. plans to direct food manufacturers to phase out eight petroleum-based food dyes from cereals, sports drinks, and other grocery staples by the end of 2026.

The directive, expected to be announced in full detail on Tuesday, affects hundreds of thousands of grocery store items containing eight petroleum-based dyes, which health experts have long criticized for potentially causing hyperactivity and other neurobehavioral problems in children, according to a New York Times

The eight dyes being targeted include Red No. 40, Yellow No. 5, Yellow No. 6, Blue No. 1, Blue No. 2, Green No. 3, Red No. 3, and Orange B, according to details provided by HHS officials to the Times.

When you look at the list of ingredients and you see an innocuous sounding name like one of the above you might not think much about it. But what if they had to list the ingredients, the chemicals, that are used to produce Orange B and all the rest of them?

ISWAP claims responsibility for deadly attacks in Nigeria
[REUTERS] The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) has claimed responsibility for a series of deadly attacks targeting Nigerian security forces as well as Christian civilians in Nigeria's northeastern regions earlier this month.

Through seven messages posted on its news agency "Amaq," ISWAP claimed it conducted these operations, backing up the statements with a video depicting one of the assaults and two photo albums documenting two other operations.

The attacks in Borno state targeted a Nigerian army barracks in Yamtage town where it claimed it killed three soldiers and set the barracks ablaze.

ISWAP also claimed that its fighters captured and subsequently killed four members of pro-government militias loyal to the Nigerian army in the same state.

In Adamawa state, the group claimed responsibility for two attacks on Banga village, a Christian community.
The first, on April 15, allegedly resulted in the deaths of two Christians and the torching of over 30 houses and a church, with "Amaq" publishing photographs of the assault.

The second attack on Banga, on April 16, targeted a Nigerian police patrol in the village, damaging a vehicle and wounding several officers.

It also released a photo album depicting an assault on Lareh village in Adamawa, showing houses belonging to Christians and a church being set on fire but it was not accompanied with a claim.

Boko Haram
and ISWAP fighters have mainly operated in northeastern Nigeria and targeted security forces and civilians, killing or displacing tens of thousands of people.

The Nigerian government has said it will "crush" the groups, increasing this year's defence budget by over 40%.

Boko Haram now on TikTok, operates unmanned drones - Security expert
[PUNCHNG] A security analyst and senior fellow of the Extremism Policy Unit at Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, Bulama Bukarti, on Sunday, warned that the activities of the dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
, have started gaining ground on major social media platforms like TikTok.

Bukarti spoke when he was featured as a guest on Channels Television's Politics Today.

The revelation comes barely one week after the senator for Borno South District, Ali Ndume, lamented that Borno State lost 100 soldiers and 280 civilians to the onslaught carried out by Boko Haram bully boyz in six months.

But Bukarti, who has researched the bully boy group for many years, raised a fresh alarm that the bully boyz are now propagating their ideology on social media amid video clips and live streaming.

Construction Photos of Obama's 'Mosque' Receive Harsh Reviews: ‘Looks Like a Prison'

[GatewayPundit] The shrine to Barack Obama
If you like your coverage you can keep it...
, aka the Obama library at the Obama Presidential Center (OPC), is still under construction in reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown
...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel...
Photos of the building made the rounds on social media recently, and the building is receiving harsh criticism, with some suggesting the barren, characterless building looks more like a prison than a library.
Built with DEI concrete. Good luck.
Biz Pac Review notes that the building, designed by Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, features an exterior wrapped in granite panels and is one of "numerous buildings on the massive 19-acre Obama Presidential Center campus, which has been priced at about $830 million by the News Agency that Dare Not be Named."

Harvard University sues Trump administration over $2.2B funding freeze as feud escalates
Better than what was predicted late Sunday night. That was that Harvard would file for bankruptcy. Reason was most of the massive endowment was in non-public equities, hard to liquidate to replace the loss of Gov monies. It was mentioned that Penn, Princeton, Yale and Stanford had a similar problem.
[NYPOST] Harvard University slapped a lawsuit against the Trump administration Monday in a bid to unfreeze over $2.2 billion in grants and other funding imposed against the wealthy Ivy League school for refusing to make reforms to combat antisemitism on campus and address other concerns.

Alan Garber, 69, Harvard's president, accused President Trump's team of seeking ''unprecedented and improper control'' over campus affairs to keep the federal funds flowing.

''These actions have stark real-life consequences for patients, students, faculty, staff, researchers, and the standing of American higher education in the world,'' Garber warned in a blistering statement.

''The consequences of the government's overreach will be severe and long-lasting.''

Earlier this month, the Trump administration's White House task force on antisemitism sent an April 11 email to Harvard University outlining a slew of demands that the prestigious school clamp down on antisemitism and end certain diversity and gender programs in favor of merit.

Those demands included steps such as establishing more merit-based hiring; ending diversity, equity and inclusion programs; reforming ''programs with egregious records of antisemitism and other bias;'' and stepping up admissions screening of international applicants to ''prevent admitting students hostile to the American values,'' including those ''supportive of terrorism or antisemitism.''

House Republicans ask DOJ to charge Andrew Cuomo for lying about 'calculated cover-up' of NY nursing home deaths
[NYPOST] House Republicans have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to charge former New York Gov. Andrew Sonny Cuomo for making ''criminally false statements'' to Congress, citing ''overwhelming evidence'' that an audit he presided over had low-balled nursing home deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The House Oversight Committee re-upped the criminal referral after then-Attorney General Merrick Garland declined last year to prosecute Cuomo for allegedly triggering, helping to draft and reviewing a July 6, 2020, report that undercounted the total number of deaths in senior care facilities by 46%.

''Andrew Cuomo is a man with a history of corruption and deceit, now caught red-handed lying to Congress during the Select Subcommittee's investigation into the COVID-19 nursing home tragedy in New York,'' said Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) in a statement.

Ukrainian Perspective: Invasion of Ukraine: April 21, 2025
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Worth noting, korrespondent.net has compiled its Invasion of Ukraine series into separate months, beginning May 9th, 2023. Linked in the title.

[Korrespondent] 22:20 Ukraine is ready for dialogue to begin a partial ceasefire with Russia, which will include a ban on long-range strikes on civilian targets. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Russia rejected not only the American proposal for a complete and unconditional ceasefire, which was made at the talks in Jeddah more than a month ago, but also yesterday's proposal to continue doing everything for silence after Easter... However, Ukraine maintains its proposal not to strike at least civilian infrastructure. And we expect a clear answer from Moscow. We are ready for any discussion on how to ensure this," Zelensky said.

21.58 Russian military are increasingly using donkeys to transport cargo to the front lines. Another video confirming the use of such "pack transport" has appeared on social networks.

The video was made by one of the invaders, who probably accidentally encountered a new, unusual vehicle on his way.

"The UAZs are gone, the Urals are gone, the boys are leading a donkey... A zoo," says the occupier and curses obscenely, commenting on what he saw.

20.57 Scouts from the Black Forest brigade discovered a launcher and loader for the Russian Buk-M2 medium-range anti-aircraft missile system.

"Only after identifying the targets did we transmit the coordinates to adjacent units, who skillfully hit us and gifted us with these fireworks," the statement said.

20:35 The issue of Ukraine's territorial integrity is not discussed with partners in the negotiations to end the war. This is contrary to the Constitution.

"All the negotiators attending meetings either in Saudi Arabia or France clearly say that the issue of Ukraine's territorial integrity is not discussed at all. And even the Constitution of Ukraine contains many prohibitions and restrictions, the media landscape is filled with them," he said, commenting on rumors that Washington might recognize Crimea as Russian.

20.19 Ukraine received another delivery of equipment from the IT coalition, financed by Luxembourg and Iceland. The total cost of the aid was almost 2 million euros.

This time, the partners handed over to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine:

  • 3,288 access points of different models

  • 500 routers

  • 460 charging stations with solar panels

  • 872 phones.

This is already the third delivery from the IT coalition in 2025.

19:49 President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a conversation with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, during which the parties agreed on further steps to achieve an unconditional ceasefire and establish lasting peace.

"Already on Wednesday, our representatives will be working in London. Ukraine, Britain, France, the United States. We are ready to move forward in the most constructive manner possible in order to achieve an unconditional ceasefire with subsequent establishment of a real and lasting peace," the president said.

19:45 US President Donald Trump believes that there is a "very good" chance of some kind of "peace agreement" between Russia and Ukraine. The politician said this during an Easter event at the White House.

Asked about possible details of a peace deal the United States is proposing between Ukraine and Russia, Trump promised to announce full details within the next three days.

Asked about the possibility of a peace deal this week, Trump said yes.

18.56 The Space Pioneers Institute at Kyushu University, which specializes in the production and operation of satellites, will transmit geospatial images to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

17.52 Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has decided to "sort out" Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's proposal not to strike civilian targets. The Russian side "always seems to be positive about any peace initiatives," he cynically assured.

17.20 In Russia, the 2nd Western District Military Court of Moscow (RF) on April 21 sentenced the driver of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sergei Eremeyev, to 15 years in prison on charges related to the invasion of the Kursk Region. This was reported by the Russian service of the BBC, citing the Main Military Prosecutor's Office of Russia. It is noted that the first three years of the Ukrainian's sentence will be spent in prison, and the remaining term - in a maximum security penal colony.

16.35 The Security Service detained 5 pro-Russian Internet agitators operating in the Kyiv region and the Carpathian region. Among those detained is the 58-year-old former functionary of the banned Nashi party, former MP Yevgeny Murayev.

This person administered one of the groups that popularized the party on Facebook. There, he regularly spread fakes about the Defense Forces and the situation at the front, and also praised Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. The total audience of the enemy Internet resource was 27 thousand users.

15.44 Ukrainian aviation carried out a successful strike on the launch site of attack drones near the village of Tetkino in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Up to 20 Russian drone operators were eliminated.

14.33 Russia has not negotiated with anyone about the so-called "Easter truce." Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the corresponding statement at a briefing. At the same time, Moscow is going to inform Washington about the alleged "violation of the truce" by Kiev, although there was no agreement on a ceasefire.

13.21 The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) officers, in cooperation with the SBU, have completed a pre-trial investigation into officials of one of the military units in the Kyiv region and three private entrepreneurs who organized the supply of low-quality first aid kits for Ukrainian defenders. The total amount of contracts exceeded UAH 18 million. The indictments have been sent to court. The SBI reports this on its website.

12.54 Studying at universities and vocational schools is currently used to evade mobilization. The government plans to close one of the loopholes. This is evidenced by draft law No. 13193.

12:31 A 31-year-old man has been detained in the suburbs of Kharkov, who organized a "full service" to evade mobilization for 11 thousand US dollars. This was reported on April 21 by the regional prosecutor's office.

11.35 The Ministry of Defense has allocated a third of the defense budget for technological weapons. This was stated by the Director of the Department of Procurement Policy of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Gleb Kanevsky.

11.20 Russian troops are trying to protect themselves from attacks by Ukrainian drones using "anti-drone corridors." This was reported by Andriy Demchenko, a representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine, during a telethon.

10.36 The Russian army attacked residents of the village of Belozerka in the Kherson region from a drone as they walked down the street. As a result of the enemy attack, an older woman was killed and a 47-year-old man was injured. This was reported by the head of the Kherson OVA Oleksandr Prokudin on his Telegram channel.

9:56 Soldiers of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with related units in the Kursk region captured nine Russian servicemen. The video was released by the command of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

9:14 On the morning of April 21, Russian drones attacked Cherkasy Oblast, damaging an infrastructure facility. The territory is being surveyed. This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration Igor Taburets. It is noted that air defense forces destroyed eight Russian drones over the region. There were no civilian casualties.

8:25 The Russian military continues to keep a Kalibr cruise missile carrier in the Black Sea. There is a risk of a missile strike on Ukrainian territory. This was reported by the Ukrainian Navy.

7:58 The Russians attacked the Pokrovsk direction almost 40 times and carried out 1,882 shellings of Defense Forces positions and populated areas. There were 96 combat clashes on the front. This is evidenced by the report of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

7:29 The Russian army lost 670 soldiers on the front over the past 24 hours. This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

05:33 The United States of America is tired of the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, it has been going on for too long. This statement was made by the special representative of the American President Donald Trump, Keith Kellogg, commenting on the air of Fox News on the words of the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio that Washington may leave the peace talks in the absence of progress. According to the representative of Trump, Rubio's statement sounded quite harsh, but that is exactly how it was. The reason is that Washington is "tired of what is happening."

05:12 Immediately after the end of the so-called "truce" declared by dictator Vladimir Putin on Easter, Russian occupation forces began shelling Sumy and Kharkiv regions with UAVs. In addition, the Russians launched reconnaissance and attack UAVs into regions in northern Ukraine.

03:28 The "Easter truce" declared by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has been called a media stunt by Russia in the Czech Republic. According to Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky, Putin announced the so-called "Easter truce" in order to create a positive image in the press.

"It's like declaring a fast between breakfast and lunch, but secretly eating sweets. We see that the attacks continue. Ukraine reports several attacks, so the ceasefire declared in this way is more of a media stunt than reality," the Czech Foreign Minister said.

01:14 Since the beginning of April 20, Russian occupation forces have violated the "Easter truce" declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin more than 2,000 times. There were 67 assaults in different directions, most of them in Pokrovskoe. JUI-F announces rally in Lahore to express solidarity with Gaza
Making no difference whatsoever, but at least it gets them out in the healthy fresh air and sunshine.
[GEO.TV] Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam
...Assembly of Islamic Clergy, or JUI, is a Pak Deobandi (Hanafi) political party. There are two main branches, one led by Maulana Fazlur Rahman, and one that was led by Maulana Samiul Haq. Fazl is active in Pak politix and Sami spent more time running his madrassah until his secretary rubbed him out in a jealous rage. Both branches sponsor branches of the Taliban, though with plausible deniability...
-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman
...Deobandi holy man, known as Mullah Diesel during the war against the Soviets, his sympathies for the Taliban have never been tempered by honesty. Fazl seldom misses a meal and is now so large he has his own gravitational pull...
expressed serious concerns over the situation in Paleostine and announced a protest rally at Minar-e-Pakistain in Lahore to show their solidarity with the people of Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks.
Addressing a joint presser flanked by Jamaat-e-Islami
...The Islamic Society, founded in 1941 in Lahore by Maulana Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, aka The Great Apostosizer. The Jamaat opposed the independence of Bangladesh but has operated an independent branch there since 1975. It maintains close ties with international Mohammedan groups such as the Moslem Brotherhood. the Taliban, and al-Qaeda. The Jamaat's objectives are the establishment of a pure Islamic state, governed by Sharia law. It is distinguished by its xenophobia, and its opposition to Westernization, capitalism, socialism, secularism, and liberalist social mores...
(JI) Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Fazl said: ''The [current] situation in Paleostine is a matter of deep concern for the entire Moslem Ummah.''

He invited the religious parties and the people to attend the proposed rally at the Minar-e-Pakistain.

Lambasting the rulers, the JUI-F chief said that those who are in power have failed to fulfil their responsibilities towards Gaza. He added that the JUI-F will soon launch a countrywide awareness campaign.

Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano erupts in Kamchatka
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The highest active volcano in Eurasia, Klyuchevskaya Sopka, has begun erupting in Kamchatka. This was reported by the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The branch noted that a glow was recorded on the volcano's crater on the night of April 21. It lasted for several minutes.

"Klyuchevskoy Volcano. April 20, 2025. The glow above the volcano's crater is associated with a Strombolian type of eruption," says a message from KVERT of the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IVS FEB RAS) on the Telegram channel.

The aviation hazard code for the Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano has been changed from green to yellow. This code is the second of four and indicates risks for small aircraft. If the volcano's activity continues to increase, it could affect low-flying aircraft.

Klyuchevskoy Volcano (Klyuchevskaya Sopka) is located 30 km from the village of Klyuchi in the Ust-Kamchatsky District, where about 4.5 thousand people live. It is the highest active volcano in Eurasia. Its age is approximately 7,000 years.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, the Bezymyanny volcano began erupting in Kamchatka. Satellite data showed a bright thermal glow in the crater that lasted for several minutes. At 10:30 local time on April 21 (01:30 Moscow time), explosions raised ash from the Bezymyanny volcano 4,000 meters above sea level. The ash plume stretched 36 km west of the volcano.

The volcanic eruption continues. Volcanologists noted that an ash plume up to 10-15 km above sea level can be expected at any time. The volcano's activity is dangerous for local air travel, and an orange hazard code (increased probability of eruption) has been declared.

Klaus Schwab steps down as Chairman of WEF Board of Trustees
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Klaus Schwab, 88, has stepped down as chairman of the board of trustees of the World Economic Forum (WEF). This was reported by the WEF press service.

“At an extraordinary meeting of the board on April 20, the Board of Trustees took note of the resignation of Klaus Schwab,” the statement said.

The board appointed vice-chairman Peter Brabeck-Letmathe as acting chairman, in accordance with WEF rules. It also established a search committee to select a future chairman.

Schwab himself said that he was leaving his post due to his age.

Klaus Schwab, has been chairman of the WEF trustees since its founding in 1971. The forum's members include about a thousand large companies from around the world, including Russia.

The last meeting of the WEF, which took place in January 2025, was held without the participation of the Russian delegation, since, according to the Russian Ambassador to Switzerland Sergei Garmonin, the organizers of the forum did not send the corresponding invitations to the Russian Federation, but the Russian side took this decision calmly.

Garmonin emphasized that Moscow will continue to solve external problems in promising formats such as BRICS.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, in May 2024, the President of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Klaus Schwab, decided to leave his post and become a non-executive director of the forum.

Earlier, in June 2024, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that at least six women had faced sexual harassment from senior WEF management. Two employees reported being approached by high-ranking participants at the event. The employees also accused Schwab of harassment - "offering informal communication to a young employee." Another six former employees said they were forced to resign after they announced their pregnancy.

Moreover, according to the publication, Schwab personally ordered the dismissal of some employees over 50 years old in order to reduce the average age of workers and improve performance, deciding to “carry out a youth transformation of the organization.” Representatives of the forum refused to arrange an interview with Schwab, and the press service stated that the article “incorrectly describes the organization, culture and colleagues, including the founder ”

Swedish ACS-890 aircraft tested in Ukraine — media
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] One of the two ACS-890 radar reconnaissance aircraft transferred by Sweden was tested in Ukraine. According to the publication "Strana.ua", the test flight took place on April 21 over Lviv.

"The Swedish Ministry of Defense believes that these aircraft will provide Ukraine with completely new capabilities for airborne radar reconnaissance. The ACS-890 is capable of detecting air and sea targets at a distance of up to 400 km," the authors noted.

It is noted that the aircraft has the potential to be integrated into a defensive system along with American F-16 fighters.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, on March 10, the SVF680 aircraft of the Swedish Air Force conducted reconnaissance along the border of the Kaliningrad Region. The aircraft's route is indicated on the Flightradar website, according to which the aircraft departed from the Swedish city of Linköping towards the Polish Gdansk, where it began reconnaissance along the borders of the Kaliningrad Region. It then flew near the Polish-Belarusian border, reached Zamość, located near the border with Ukraine, and turned north.

US announced that the Russian Aerospace Forces received upgraded Su-57 fighters

The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) have received two upgraded Su-57 fighters. This is reported by the American magazine The National Interest (TNI).

The publication specifies that neither Rostec nor the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) officially announced the deliveries of the fighters. At the same time, photographs of two aircraft with the identification marks "Red 25" and "Red 26" were distributed online. Based on these numbers, the publication assumed that these Su-57s had just rolled off the assembly line.

"Visible new markings indicate that these are newly built aircraft, possibly part of an effort to scale up production. The aircraft spotted this week are from newer series, featuring improved avionics and design features," the publication says.

It is also specified that Russia continues to produce fifth-generation fighters, despite active attempts by the West to limit production.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on March 29, the Rostec press service reported that the Russian troops received the first batch of Su-35S fighters in 2025. The state corporation also reported that the fighters had passed a full cycle of factory tests, were accepted by the technical staff and tested in various operating modes by Defense Ministry pilots.

At the end of December 2024, UAC also manufactured and transferred new batches of Su-57 fighters and Su-34 frontline bombers to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Rostec CEO Sergei Chemezov previously noted that the state corporation's aircraft manufacturing enterprises are rhythmically supplying the Russian army with aircraft equipment, and the Su-57 and Su-34 aircraft transferred to the troops will soon take their place in service.

Russia Does Not Plan to Get Involved in Naval Arms Race — Patrushev
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Russia does not plan to get involved in a naval arms race, but it bears in mind that its fleet is one of the strongest in the world and can provide an adequate response to any threats. This was stated on April 21 by the Russian Presidential Aide, Head of the Naval Collegium Nikolai Patrushev.

"We have no plans to get involved in a naval arms race. Our country already has and continues to develop a powerful, modern and balanced Navy, which is capable of providing an adequate response to any challenges and threats to security," Kommersant newspaper reports Patrushev as saying.

He noted that the collective West has already stopped hiding its intentions to create a naval blockade. These measures will be met with adequate and proportionate resistance from the Russian Federation. If diplomatic or legal instruments do not lead to results, the Russian Navy will be ready to ensure the safety of Russian shipping, Patrushev concluded.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, from April 6 to 10, the Russian Navy held the Friendship Bridge 2025 exercises with the participation of the Egyptian Navy in the Mediterranean Sea. The sailors worked out elements of ship defense against high-speed naval craft and air defense training to repel an attack by a simulated enemy aircraft.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the experience of the special military operation should be taken into account in training sailors and developing the tactics of the Navy. The head of state also noted that it is necessary to develop the production of Russian ship-based unmanned aircraft systems and marine robotic systems.

According to Putin, 49 military ships have been built in Russia over the past five years. At the same time, 8.4 trillion rubles have been allocated for the development of the Russian Navy in the next decade, the head of state concluded.

STC accuses unnamed groups of deception, potentially alluding to Islah and GPC parties — Hodhod Yemen News Agency
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) claimed on Monday that a major deception has had a negative impact on residents of the southern provinces which are under the control of the Saudi-led coalition.

STC Presidency member Fadl al-Jaadi stated: ''We are fully aware of the political deception and cunning schemes being employed against our people's free will through various means — political, military, and service-related.''

This remark appeared to reference the STC's controversial alliance with the so-called ''7/7 gang'' from the Islah and General People's Congress parties, which are aligned with the Saudi-led coalition.

Al-Jaadi further stated in a post on X: ''These agendas aim to exhaust citizens and politically demoralize them, with the goal of diverting the Southern Cause from its path and stripping it of its essence.''

Al-Jaadi emphasized that the STC and the people of the south will not allow these ''parasitic elements'' to thwart their aspirations or push them backward.

#13  2 Thessalonians 3

One further order we must give you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: don’t associate with the brother whose life is undisciplined, and who despises the teaching we gave him. You know well that we ourselves are your examples here, and that our lives among you were never undisciplined. We did not eat anyone’s food without paying for it. In fact we toiled and labored night and day to avoid being the slightest expense to any of you. This was not because we had no right to ask our necessities of you, but because we wanted to set you an example. When we were actually with you, we gave you this principle to work on: “If a man will not work, he shall not eat.” Now we hear that you have some among you living quite undisciplined lives, never doing a stroke of work, and busy only in other people’s affairs. Our order to such men, indeed our appeal by the Lord Jesus Christ, is to settle down to work and eat the food they have earned themselves.

Via The Washington Examiner (emphasis added):

“Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has declassified a Biden administration plan to counter domestic terrorism established in the months following the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.

Gabbard declassified former President Joe Biden’s Strategic Implementation Plan for Countering Domestic Terrorism at the prompting of conservative groups, including America First Legal…

Biden’s summer 2021 outline even garnered the criticism of the American Civil Liberties Union*, which called it a reflection of the “ever-expanding authority to surveil and monitor American communities.””

The Strategic Implementation Plan For Countering Domestic Terrorism four “pillars”:

· Pillar One: Understand and Share Domestic Terrorism-Related Information

· Pillar Two: Prevent Domestic Terrorism Recruitment and Mobilization to Violence

· Pillar Three: Disrupt and Deter Domestic Terrorism Activity

· Pillar Four: Confront Long-Term Contributors to Domestic Terrorism

Whereas “terrorist” once meant something specific — the use of literal violence for political ends — by “domestic terrorism,” the Biden regime meant “parents who don’t want the state to turn their kids into trannies without their consent” and people who say true things about Anthony Fauci on the internet.”

Via Pillar Four:

“Implement the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act to address hate crime reporting barriers faced by disadvantaged communities by promoting law enforcement training and resources to prevent and address bias-motivated crimes; improve federal hate crimes data and analysis to eliminate hate crimes underreporting; mitigate xenophobia and bias, including by advancing inclusion in the nation's COVID-19 response.”

Via the 2024 Supreme Court of the United States petition (emphasis added):

“The Attorney General of the United States has weaponized the vast law enforcement resources of the federal government to target parents, including Petitioners, who publicly and vehemently object to certain policies being forced upon their children in various school districts across the country, specifically including school districts located in Loudoun County, Virginia, and Saline, Michigan. The Attorney General has pejoratively designated these parents as “threats” and “domestic terrorists,” deeming them worthy of investigation and surveillance by the federal government.”

This perfect illustration of mission creep is why we should not be cavalier about allowing — or even celebrating — the current administration designating criminal gangs like MS-13 as “terrorist” groups.

While I understand that doing so endows the Trump administration with greater authorities to purge the illegal aliens who comprise these groups from American soil, it is also laying the groundwork for future abuses when the Democrats, at some point in the future, take the reins of power.

Yet here we sit in 2025, allowing the ranks of who can be swept up in the national security state’s “terrorism” dragnet to swell once more, to deafening partisan cheers.

Van Hollen Trainwrecks on the Sunday Shows, Reveals Who''s Paying for His Trip — RedState
[REDSTATE] After a week in which Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) completely embarrassed himself by having a meeting with an illegal alien alleged MS-13 gang member who has also been accused of beating his wife, you might think he would go to ground and hide away in shame. But that would mean he had shame.

He apparently doesn't, since instead, he was hitting all the Sunday shows on Easter trying to attack the Trump team and push the twisted narrative of his visit. But even going on friendly stations didn't go well for him.

On "Meet the Press," he didn't seem to understand why the murder of Rachel Morin, a resident of Maryland, the state he's supposed to represent, was relevant.

"I'm not sure why Abrego Garcia's rights should be denied based on an awful murder that he had absolutely nothing to do with," he said, dismissing that fact and people calling him out for not advocating or caring about Morin.

Then there was CNN
...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for...
and Dana Bash. Bash brought up the question of Abrego Garcia's alleged MS-13 tattoos, which President Donald Trump
...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...
pointed out. She doesn't note the court findings that Abrego Garcia was a member. But she asked Van Hollen if he could say that Abrego Garcia was not a member: "Did you ask him point blank?"

Van Hollen's answer showed the exact problem Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
have with this case.

, and the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reported, citing local media reports.

The al-Aqsa TV news outlet also reported that two people were killed as a result of Israeli air strikes on the Bakr family home west of Gaza City.

At the same time, an Israeli drone attack on a tent housing displaced people in the al-Katiba neighbourhood of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, injured several people, including women and kiddies.

How the Times of Israel reported it a few hours later:
Hamas-controlled civil defense agency says seven killed in Israeli airstrikes
Gaza’s Hamas-controlled civil defense agency claims seven people were killed in fresh Israeli airstrikes across the territory.

“The occupation launched violent airstrikes on Gaza City and the towns of Beit Lahiya, Beit Hanoun and Khan Younis, killing seven civilians,” civil defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal tells AFP. Hamas’s casualty figures consistently conflate civilians with terror operatives.

Four people are killed in the Al-Rimal area near Gaza City, two in Al-Sabra west of Gaza City and one in Khan Younis, he asserts.

“The occupation also destroyed more than 10 homes east of Gaza City and in Rafah,” he adds.

About exchanges of the dead
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Text taken from the Telegram channel of lost_armour

See the charts at the link. Red is for Russia and Blue is for Ukraine. It falls in line with my contention that Russian irretrievable losses from the war are at least an order of magnitude lower than Ukraine and its western procurers claim.

[ColonelCassad] In connection with the intensified topic of another exchange of bodies, the group for calculating the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the LOSTARMOUR project offers an overview of this issue for the entire period of the SVO.

We know that at least 61 exchanges were made in total, the earliest on 05/07/2022, of which we have information on 50.

Initially, the exchanges were carried out as equivalent by analogy with prisoners, later shifting towards the "all for all" scheme, since there is no benefit from storing enemy bodies.

In 2023, there is some shift in the number of bodies transferred towards dead Russian soldiers, especially during the summer Ukrainian "counteroffensive".

Later, especially since the summer of 2024, there is a sharp increase in the number of bodies transferred to Ukraine.

Trump admin reups $5M reward for capture of MS-13 kingpin: 'Turn him in. End this threat'
[NYPOST] The Trump administration reupped a $5 million reward Monday for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of Yulan Adonay Archaga Carias, the alleged leader of MS-13 in Honduras.

Archaga Carias, who also goes by ''Porky,'' directs several of the notoriously violent mostly peaceful gang's criminal activities, including drug trafficking, money laundering, murder and kidnappings, according to the State Department.

The US government's $5 million bounty for Archaga Carias was first offered in 2023 under the State Department's Transnational Organized Crime Rewards Program but is being highlighted once again as part of the Trump administration's efforts to combat the gang, which earlier this year President Trump designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization.

Fauci Raked in $3.5 Million During First Year of Retirement from Government
[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] In the year after he ''retired,'' Fauci pulled in approximately $3.5 million, cashing in on the fame he garnered during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a financial disclosure obtained by government watchdog Open the Books.

''Dr. Fauci's assets soared during the worst of the draconian Covid lockdowns while families and small businesses struggled through school closures and lost income. Now it's clear the cash kept coming during his first year of 'retirement,''' Open The Books CEO John Hart told the Daily Caller. ''He was rubbing elbows with groups like AHIP flanked by taxpayer-funded security — even as his wife remained the top bioethicist at NIH.''

Florida Methodist Church Lights Candle for Kilmar Abrego Garcia on Easter
[BREITBART] A far-left pastor of a Florida United Methodist Church lit a candle wrapped in barbed wire in honor of accused MS-13 gang member and alleged wife beater Kilmar Abrego Garcia during his Easter Sunday service, saying the United States government ''kidnapped'' him.

The sermon was given by Rev. Andy Oliver of Allendale United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, where he compared the El Salvadoran illegal alien to one of the criminals who were crucified alongside Jesus Christ before his Resurrection:

''We continue to pray for Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who the Supreme Court has ordered must be returned home after our government unlawfully kidnapped him,'' Oliver said.

US ambassador Mike Huckabee calls on Hamas to accept proposed ceasefire
[GEO.TV] The new US ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, has called on Hamas to accept a proposed ceasefire to release captives in exchange for humanitarian aid to flow into the enclave, which Israel has blocked since early March.

''When that happens and hostages are released, which is an urgent matter for all of us, then we hope that the humanitarian aid will flow and flow freely, knowing it will be done without Hamas being able to confiscate and abuse their own people,'' Huckabee said in a video statement on X.
That’s not all he said:

Ag Sec: As Deals Advance, Farmers May Not Need Tariff Bailouts
[DAILYSIGNAL] The Trump administration may ''soon'' institute a plan for undocumented Democrat farm workers to leave the country then return legally to work, Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins said Monday.
*cough* Bracero program *cough*
''The president at his Cabinet meeting, the one about a week and a half ago, brought that up, and he really fully understands and realizes that our dairy producers, our row croppers, our citrus producers, they have to have labor to be able to feed America, and food security, and America is national security, so it's incredibly encouraging,'' Rollins told The Daily Signal. ''He realizes that, but at the same time realizing that you have to secure the border, you've got to have an immigration system in place that makes sense for America and puts America first.''

''So I believe it will be soon,'' she added, ''but we're working through all the details.''

Israeli Air Force said to hold drill simulating another Iranian missile attack
[IsraelTimes] Days after US-Iran nuclear talks, Trump reports ‘good meetings’; Netanyahu said set to speak with him by phone

The Israeli Air Force conducted drills on Monday simulating another Iranian missile attack on Israeli airbases, in light of rising tensions over the Islamic Theocratic Republic’s nuclear program, the Kan public broadcaster reported

IAF bases were targeted in previous Iranian strikes in April and October 2024.

The report of the exercise came as the US and Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
continue to hold talks on the latter’s nuclear program, with the drills said to be aimed at boosting readiness in case the talks collapse.

Israeli officials were reportedly caught off guard by a New York Times

...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

report last week revealing a halted Israeli-American plan to strike Iran, allegedly blocked by US President Donald Trump
...Never got invited to a P.Diddy party...
In Jerusalem, the leak has been interpreted as a US pressure tactic to push Tehran toward a nuclear deal.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was expected to speak with Trump by phone on Monday, the Walla news site reported.

The two leaders would discuss the currently stuck Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. hostage talks as well as the nuclear negotiations between the US and Iran, according to the report.

It would be the first call between the two men since the premier visited the White House two weeks ago.

In Israel, newly appointed US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee — upon delivering his credentials to President Isaac Herzog — stressed that Iran wants to destroy both Israel and the US.

"It has always been their desire that Israel would be the opening act and then it would be America’s turn to face destruction," he said. "Or to put in another simple way, Israel is the appetizer and the United States is the entrée."

Agreeing with Huckabee, Herzog emphasized that Tehran "continues to pursue its radical vision of regional dominance and destabilization — on its own and via its proxies — whilst pursuing nuclear arms and openly calling for the destruction of Israel."

Islamic Jihad terrorist who took part in October 7 assault killed in strike, IDF says
[IsraelTimes] Army reports airstrikes hit over 200 targets in Gaza over weekend, including terrorist cells and weapons depots

An Israeli strike in Gazoo

killed a terrorist who took part in the October 7, 2023, invasion, the military said Monday, announcing hundreds of strikes on targets in the Paleostinian enclave over the past three days.

The Israel Defense Forces did not detail when or where the strike that killed Ahmad Mansour took place, announcing the killing after Gazooks said 43 people were killed in attacks on Friday.

According to the IDF, Mansour was a member of the Paleostinian Islamic Jihad
...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah...
terror group’s rocket unit. The army said he was among the thousands of bully boyz who infiltrated southern Israel from Gaza on October 7.

During the Hamas
..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",...
-led attack, which included members of other terror groups, 1,200 people were killed and 251 were taken hostage, of whom 59 remain in captivity. Twenty-four are believed to be alive.

There was no immediate confirmation from PIJ, which has fired a number of rockets at Israel over the course of the war, though the Iran-backed group was considered to have a smaller arsenal than Hamas.

In March, PIJ grabbed credit for two rockets that were launched at the city of Sderot in southern Israel.

The IDF also said Monday morning that the Israeli Air Force had struck over 200 targets over the last 72 hours, including terrorist cells, weapons depots, rocket launchpads, sniper outposts, and other structures used for terrorist activity.

The army said troops killed an unspecified number of bully boyz during ground operations near the southern city of Rafah.

Additionally, the IDF said recent ground operations saw the dismantling of an "underground infrastructure site" in the northern Gaza Strip from which it identified terrorist activity, as well as several sniper posts that posed a threat to Israeli troops in the area.

Fighting in the Strip resumed in mid-March following the collapse of a two-month ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, which saw the release of 33 hostages.

The army had faced relatively light resistance in the renewed offensive until Saturday, when the IDF announced that an Israeli soldier was killed and five others were maimed, three of them seriously, in a Hamas attack in northern Gaza.

The slain soldier was named as Warrant Officer G’haleb Sliman Alnasasra, 35, a tracker in the Gaza Division’s Northern Brigade, from Rahat.

According to the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry, some 1,600 deaths have been reported as a result of IDF actions since the end of the ceasefire, including 43 people reported killed on Friday, according to Rooters.

The ministry claims over 50,000 Gazooks have been killed in the war, though its tolls cannot be verified and do not differentiate between civilians and fighters. Israel estimated in January that it had killed some 20,000 combatants in Gaza.

Talks for a new ceasefire have reportedly been deadlocked over Israel’s demand that Hamas free 11 living hostages in exchange for an extended ceasefire, while Hamas has offered to release five.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a pre-recorded statement that Israel would not end the war in Gaza until Hamas had been completely dismantled, dampening hopes for a ceasefire.

He accused the terror group of rejecting a proposal for the return of half of the remaining living hostages and many of the slain hostages it holds in Gaza, and said Israel could not agree to Hamas’s demands to end the war and withdraw militarily from Gaza.

"If we capitulate to the dictates of Hamas now, all the great achievements of the war, which we achieved with the merit of our soldiers and our fallen and our heroic injured, all these achievements will disappear," Netanyahu said.
