#5  Trump should have started this war months ago. Hell, Biden should have started this war half a year ago!

The writing was on the wall!
Regime change in Iran is the only possible outcome. And a complete dismantling of their nuclear weapons program like Libya did.
And we kept our end of that deal, too. Colonel Gadafi stayed in control of his socialist country until he started genociding his own people. That's a crime against humanity. The US has R2P, responsibility to protect. Borders don't matter when a genocide is going on.
So NATO attacked and destroyed his country and topped the genocide. Unfortunately Gaddafi did not survive to face war crimes trials at The Hague. Some asswipe killed him before we got to try him. That was disappointing, it would be great to see him rotting in prison for the rest of his life. Unfortunately he couldn't hang like the Nazis did.

New York City May Elect an Unhinged Socialist as Mayor
[Hot Air] Yes, yes. I know "unhinged" and "socialist" go together like peas and carrots, but it is a headline.

Now, on to the story.

New York City does elections the new-fangled way, using ranked-choice voting to ensure that the outcomes take forever to tally, the results tend to lean left, and voters are maximally confused.

That makes predicting outcomes particularly difficult, although you can balance the difficulty by assuming that the worst outcome possible is the most likely. Throw in the fact that a plurality of New York City voters will reliably make the wrong choice when it comes to electing people, and suddenly it should surprise nobody that a socialist candidate has a very good chance to live at Gracie Mansion soon.

Yes, Zohran Mamdani is rising in the polls, after weeks of being substantially behind Andrew Cuomo in the polls.

Mayor Brandon 'Bear of Little Brain' Johnson Is Having a 'Come at Me Bro' Meltdown
[Hot Air] I suppose while I'm on a pathetic, big, blue city mayor kick this afternoon, I might as well update y'all on the goofiest, least competent, most anxiety-ridden, saddest creature ever to occupy the mayor's office in Chicago - Brandon Johnson, Bear of Little Brain.

The teachers' union tool is having a whale of a year, and nothing is slowing down the man down on his self-paved highway to hell.

We've been over all the looming financial ruin and skullduggery that preceded the still percolating teachers' union pension payment and the payday loan situation.

The fired head of the Chicago Public Schools system, long-suffering Pedro Martinez, is finally leaving after a heroic fight to safeguard the schools. On his way out, he had a few choice words for Hizzoner, starting with how he was asked to resign to facilitate the mayor's payoff scheme. Something that mayor, bastion of integrity that he is, has denied.

#1  I always thought covid was part of a plot to steal the 2020 election. Democrats had to have mail-in ballots "because covid" and Joe Biden couldn't come out of his basement "because covid". It was just a little too convenient for me to believe it was anything but a commie plot.

I think it's pretty clear now, as many suspected at the time, the real reason Joe couldn't come out of his basement was because even then he was too demented to campaign. Covid gave his handlers the excuse they needed to keep him in seclusion.

It's high treason if we ever find the people who conspired with the CCP to pull that stunt.

Iowa cops rescue 88 children from Bible study camp in terrifying human trafficking investigation
[Daily Mail, where America gets it news] Nearly 90 children have been rescued from an Iowa Bible study camp as part of an investigation into human trafficking.

The Louisa County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant at the Shekinah Glory camp, operated by the Kingdom Ministry of Rehabilitation and Recreation, in Columbus Junction on June 12 and 13 as part of the ongoing investigation.

Following reports of potential criminal activity, the 88 children were transported from the camp to the Wapello Methodist Church, where they met with child protection workers and were later placed in protective custody, WQAD8 reported.

Victor Bawi, the son of a minister at the camp, confirmed to KWQC that the camp is under investigation for possible violations involving child abuse, endangerment and human trafficking.

He also denied the allegations and said that as of now, no arrests have been made.

Bawi claimed that a 15-year-old boy from Texas called authorities because he didn't want to be at the camp.

'We never harmed that child. We loved him,' Bawi told KWQC. 'We bought him like $400 shoes, clothing, everything.'

Bawi said the camp was created for Christian teenagers from across the country and insisted the children were not in danger.

'Of course I'm upset,' he said. 'The children are pretty upset too, the ones that are with us - well, there's no children with us - but the ones that were with us, and then hopefully this can be resolved soon.'

He continued, 'If they want to investigate, they can investigate. We're innocent. They're not going to find anything. Never abuse anyone.

'You can ask the children as well, they were having fun. During the scene where they took away the children, they were crying. One of my sisters, they had to give her oxygen. She wasn't breathing. She was sad.'

Bawi also expressed hope that the children would return.

'We hope that the children are well and they can come back. We talked to the children and their parents. They want to come back. They want to send their children back.'

The pastor of Wapello Methodist Church said he opened the building after receiving a call from the sheriff's office about the need for a safe space.

He reported that between 80 and 88 children were brought in, though most did not stay overnight. As of Monday, no children remained at the church, according to KQWC.

Columbus Junction residents expressed shock at the incident.

'We don't really see cops - I mean, we live on a gravel road, so it's pretty quiet,' one neighbor told WQAD8. 'They always look like they are having a good time over there. They're always playing soccer or playing games.'

The Kingdom Ministry of Rehab and Recreation was founded in Columbus Junction in 2018, according to its website.

'What we try to do is, we take care of adults and children who are under the influence of drugs, alcohol, nicotine,' Bawi, said.

'The adults and children, we take care of them, we provide food for them. The children we separate from the adults. We separate the boys and girls. We care for them, we provide for them. This summer camp.'

According to the ministry's website, it currently rents five mobile homes and houses over 60 people, with plans to build a church and housing for 100 residents by 2025.

The Bawi family are members of the Chin ethnic minority, originally from Burma (Myanmar), the New York Post reported.

According to an Iowa cultural organization, the state has resettled thousands of refugees fleeing the world's longest-running civil war.

Iowa now hosts one of the largest Burmese populations in the Midwest, with many refugees living in Columbus Junction and working at the Tyson Foods Inc. meat packing plant, which employs translators to assist non-English speakers.

Burma was added to a State Department travel ban list on June 16, as reported by the New York Post.

The investigation into the camp remains ongoing.

The operation was carried out by the Louisa County Sheriff's Office in coordination with the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, and the Columbus Junction Police Department, according to WQAD8.

Man arrested near 'No Kings' protest allegedly had stash of pipe bombs at home
A West Chester, Pennsylvania, man arrested near a "No Kings" protest on Saturday has allegedly been found to be in possession of seven pipe bombs at his home, according to police.
"Personal use, man!"
The West Chester Police Department said 31-year-old Kevin Krebs was arrested on Saturday after members of the public told officers a man with a concealed weapon was walking near a large rally in Chester County, one of several held in communities across the country to protest President Donald Trump.

When officers identified the suspect, they stopped and questioned him before allegedly discovering he was in possession of a firearm without having a concealed carry permit.

When questioned, Krebs allegedly told detectives "he wanted to go protest peacefully, but also wanted to be safe because of what he has seen on television."
Sounds like he is a little lacking in the social awareness area.

Walmart expands drone delivery service to 3 more states in race against Amazon
Do they have sniffers for nitrogen bleeds, or RAD sensors?
[FoxBusiness] Tech-enabled retailer has completed over 150,000 drone deliveries since 2021 with partners Wing and Zipline

In partnership with Google's Wing, Walmart is expanding the service to launch at 100 stores in Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, Orlando and Tampa, building on the existing operations in Northwest Arkansas and Texas. The retailer said that it's the first to scale this service across five states – Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas – underscoring its aim to become a leader in tech-enabled retail.

Wing flies its drones beyond visual line of sight of up to a 6-mile aircraft range from the store. The products arrive to customers in under 30 minutes, according to Walmart.

"People all around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex have made drone delivery part of their normal shopping habits over the past year," the company said. "Now we’re excited to share this ultra-fast delivery experience with millions more people across many more U.S. cities."

"This is real drone delivery at scale," said Wing CEO Adam Woodworth.

The company has conducted more than 150,00 drone deliveries since 2021 with Wing and drone delivery company Zipline.

Zipline initially partnered with Walmart in 2021 to deliver items in Arkansas before expanding its reach. Meanwhile, Walmart and Wing began their partnership in August 2023.

Florida attorney general held in contempt after challenging court's block on immigration law
[FoxNews] Judge punishes state official who informed law enforcement they could continue enforcing DeSantis-backed illegal entry statute

A federal judge found Tuesday that Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier was in civil contempt of court over her ruling to pause a new state law making it a crime for people living in the U.S. illegally to enter the state.

U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams ordered on April 29 that Uthmeier show cause on "why he should not be held in contempt or sanctioned" for violating a temporary restraining order (TRO) from the court, though Williams ultimately decided he was unable to convince her otherwise.

"If being held in contempt is what it costs to defend the rule of law and stand firmly behind President Trump's agenda on illegal immigration, so be it," Uthmeier said Tuesday in a post on X.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation into law in February that made it a misdemeanor for illegal immigrants to enter the state as part of President Donald Trump’s push to crack down on illegal immigration.

But on April 4, Williams issued a 14-day TRO in response to the law, following a lawsuit filed by the Florida Immigrant Coalition and other groups. She then extended the TRO another 11 days after learning the Florida Highway Patrol had arrested over a dozen people, including a U.S. citizen.

The court said on April 18 that Florida law enforcement officers were bound by the TRO, preventing them from enforcing the criminal immigration law.

The court also ordered the attorney general to provide notice to all law enforcement officers, which Uthmeier initially complied with.

Following his response, the court opined that litigants cannot change the meaning of words as it suits them, ruling that Uthmeier was in contempt of the court’s April 18 order to provide the TRO to law enforcement officers regarding the enforcement of the immigration law.

As such, the court ordered Uthmeier to file bi-weekly reports detailing arrests, detentions or law enforcement actions when it comes to the immigration law prohibiting undocumented immigrants from entering the state of Florida, with the first being filed by July 1.

If any arrests had been made under the law, Uthmeier was ordered to notify the court about the details of the arrests.

Kathleen M. Williams is a U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Florida, appointed by President Barack Obama in 2011.

So one must acknowledge Obama and his groundwork, in early planning in setting the stage for the demise of Free America many years prior.

Imagine Hillary winning in 2016 and not Trump, which just delayed the initial plan start date.

But then Biden was clearly illegally placed in and kept in office.
Then the regime's puppet masters went into overdrive, using the collection of Uber LSD agenda following judges and Lawfare to circumvent the US Constitution and basic rights.

Even now, Trump is still fighting many parts of the Obama/LSD agenda and laid out plans from years ago.

Europe
First in line: Germany fears retaliatory strikes from Iran
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Gregor Spitzen

[REGNUM] It cannot be said that the outbreak of the Iran-Israel conflict took Germany by surprise: the threat of a new major war in the Middle East had long been in the air.
And Iran has been turning German dual use supplies into missile bodies and …other things… since the 1990s.
Israel, having effectively managed to deal piecemeal with its closest enemies, Hamas and Hezbollah, made no secret of the fact that its next goal should be to eliminate the existential threat to the Jewish state, allegedly emanating from Tehran.
Allegedly. Such a useful word.
The German chancellor, ministers and other statesmen competed in political balancing act, explaining to the public why Israel’s strikes on Iran are “different!” and have nothing to do with the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

At the same time, lower-ranking officials began to prudently prepare for a wave of anti-Semitic protests. Fortunately, the German law enforcement agencies have accumulated quite significant experience in such matters after the events in Gaza on October 7, 2023.
Actually, it was the events in Israel on that date and following that were eventful. Nothing terribly special happened in Gaza at that time until it was all brought back from Israel. Anyway, German law enforcement had experience in such matters long before 10/7.
It cannot be said that the Iranian diaspora in Germany, which could pose a potential threat to law and order on the streets of German cities, is very large: it currently numbers just over 300 thousand people.
That’s not exactly peanuts — if 10% of them act up, that’s about 30,000 separate jihadi events. For perspective, the current Jewish population of Germany is about 125,000; in 1933 it was 505,000.
In addition, most Iranians in Germany are refugees who left their ancestral land due to disagreements with the theocratic regime and do not have much love for the authorities in their homeland.

Moreover, the Iranian political emigrants in Germany are, for the most part, well-educated and intelligent people, and therefore little inclined to spontaneous street violence.
Even the ones that have been bullied and blackmailed to go on the Iranian payroll?
The likelihood that local Arabs will take to the streets of Germany to demonstrate solidarity with Iran, which has been attacked, is also low. Although they hate Israel with a passion, they also have a strong dislike for the Persians because of religious differences and alleged Iranian arrogance.
But they are so charming about their arrogance, unlike the Saudis and Kuwaitis and such. And as the saying goes, “Me and my brother against the outsiders,” especially if Iran pays the protesters in cash, like Antifa.
However, local Arabs will go to any anti-Israeli rally with great pleasure. And there they can also speak out against strikes on Iran.

This is exactly how events unfolded on June 17 in Berlin, for example, where about 2,000 people gathered for a pro-Palestinian demonstration in the capital’s Tiergarten under the slogans “Freedom for Palestine!” and with calls to stop the supply of German weapons to Israel.
Unexpectedly, along with all the other unexpected places anti-Israel protests and riots occurred.
According to the organizers, they demanded that solidarity with Palestine and the peace movement not be criminalized, and that the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Iran not even be mentioned. Although the call for the demonstration stated that the rally was also an action against this war.

However, beyond the tensions on the streets, the Israeli-Iranian conflict is also fraught with hidden threats for Germany.

Security experts are alarmed. They suspect that Iranian agents are spying on German targets that they could allegedly attack. Intelligence agencies fear that Germany is first in line for retaliatory strikes by the ayatollahs.
How could this possibly be a new idea for the Germans?
The main German media are at the same time strenuously fanning fears of an Iranian spy and even terrorist threat that Germany could face. And this despite the fact that Iran has never been seen to be involved in actions that could be classified as terrorist attacks against civilians.
*Boggle* Is he serious??
However, composing a beautiful story that looks great in newspaper headlines is entirely in keeping with local traditions.
*Snicker* As could equally be said about many places.
For example, on January 16, 2018, the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office arrested ten suspected terrorists, allegedly members of the Iranian Quds Force. According to the Federal Criminal Police Office, they were supposed to kill several opponents of the regime living in Germany.

Another “killer squad,” on orders from Tehran, allegedly recorded in their files the location of Jewish kindergartens, schools, and restaurants.

We can also recall the story that happened on April 7, 2024, with a certain Algerian, Abdelkarim S., allegedly a major agent of the Iranian special services, who was followed on the high-speed train Paris-Munich on a tip from French counterintelligence.

Abdelkarim and four other aides were allegedly tasked with monitoring targets in Munich and Ulm that could be attacked and destroyed in retaliation in the event of a war with Israel and the United States, such as pedestrian areas, hospitals and bridges.

The Algerian, just like the “combat swimmers” six years earlier, allegedly had another special assignment: to photograph the signs on the doors of suspected opponents of the regime and to collect information about Jewish scientists. One Jewish professor was then supposedly planned to be killed with particular cruelty and cynicism.

What is significant is that the German prosecutor's office was forced to release the Iranian "combat swimmers" without bringing charges - the flimsy evidence base did not allow the case to be brought to court. But the German secret police agents did not dare to detain Abdelkarim at all, and he safely returned to Paris.

Although the credibility of both stories eventually evaporated, it is possible that anti-Iranian sentiments fueled by such publications will continue to grow.

However, the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) believes that, as was the case with the recent military operations in the Gaza Strip, Germany is clearly defined as the "aggressor" for Iran due to its solidarity with Israel.

"From the 'pro-Palestinian spectrum' we should expect violent demonstrations in solidarity with Iran - including 'attacks on emergency services'," the VKA believes.

August Hanning, the long-time president of the Federal Intelligence Service (BND), is confident he knows “how dangerous the Tehran terror brigades are. ” “Germany is at the forefront of any Iranian retaliation because of our close relationship with Israel,” he says.

Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU) also called for increased vigilance. "We are arming ourselves in case Iran targets Israeli and Jewish targets in Germany," he stressed on Sunday before leaving for the G7 summit in Canada.

In short, the German authorities are trying hard to portray Iran as a terrorist state and to inflate the Iranian threat to domestic security, although they have very dubious grounds for doing so.

#2  This probably began when then German FM Genscher started his hare-brained diplomatic outreach to Iran in 1984.

The Mullah's correctly interpreted diplomacy and dialogue as weakness and subjected Germany to unprecedented exploratory aggression that set the stage for Iranian aggression against the West in general.

Moreover, the Iranian political emigrants in Germany are, for the most part, well-educated and intelligent people, and therefore little inclined to spontaneous street violence.

So intelligent and well educated that an Iranian born individual was permitted accession to the highest leadership level in Germany's domestic surveillance agency. (link in German)

This political paradigm might be about to change though.

Weather vane Merz did publicly say that Israel taking out Iran is "... the dirty work that Israel does for all of us.” (»Das ist die Drecksarbeit, die Israel macht für uns alle«)

In many cultures garbage collectors are untouchables, in others merely despised as low caste. Chancellor Merz has previously made his opinion on Israel crystal clear.

#5  @3 "Drecksarbeit" isn't garbage collection, and Merz' statement isn't pejorative.

It it an idiomatic expression that describes unpleasant, thankless and perhaps low paid work that is nonetheless necessary.

He basically says that Israel is doing this work for "our" benefit.

Merz has so far been a spineless weather vane, though. I expect him to take back this praise of Israel and apologize soon.

It would be a pleasant surprise if he doesn't.

Scientists Record Brain Activity in Deceased Patient
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

And still it was higher than that of the average live Democrat...

[Regnum] Neurosurgeon Ajmal Zemmar from the University of Louisville (USA) tried to find an explanation for one of the near-death phenomena described by American hospice nurse Julie McFadden. According to her, she often observes such cases at work.

This was written about by the Metro publication.

Neurosurgeon Zemmar says brain can show memories before death
As the nurse explained, many patients have visions in the last days of life, which she distinguishes from hallucinations and manifestations of mental illness. In particular, some patients claim to see the dead.

The experiment was conducted by Dr. Zemmar, who studied the electroencephalogram of an 87-year-old patient 30 seconds before and after cardiac arrest. The oscillations in the brain after the patient's death showed that during the "transition to another world" and even for some time after that, the brain can remain active.

The neurosurgeon did not rule out that the brain at this time may show the last memories of important life events. This type of activity may explain the phenomenon of "flashes of life," when a person experiences vivid and detailed memories of significant events in their life before death.

#2  OK, we understand the brain needs fresh O2 enriched blood to stay alive.

With age, there is decay, with reduce blood and O2 flow issues start kicking in.

Or look at the other fact.
Given the well known fact, many a person has been given CPR and brought back from being dead for 2 to 4 mins after a heart stoppage. Kinda indicates the brain is still alive and registering something about what is going on around it for some time.

So, whether the many related health issues related to dying kick in a dual "Here and Hereafter" scenario is a valid question.

Sharing a personal note.
In our case... My 91 y/o Mother-in-law, a sweet angel of a person. Told us she would be dying that day, about 14 hours before she did. Family, being told of her warning, flew in from the Midwest or drove hours to be at her deathbed. She passed with her family around her.

#3  A few months ago a friend survived a cardiac arrest and recovered with no neurological deficits.

He told me about the experience. One second he was dizzy and sat down to rest, the next thing he remembers was one of the paramedics calling his name.

As it happened, one of the people he was playing golf with knew CPR, another witness was a retired physician. There was an AED within a 100 feet of where he was and someone got it and used it.

He remembers none of that, no light at the end of a tunnel, no voices.

Maybe the brain can function at some level after cardiac arrest, but in my friend's case he has no memory of it.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
US police charge suspect in fatal shooting of Minnesota lawmaker and husband, published hit list appears odd
[IsraelTimes] Suspect accused of murdering state’s top Democrat, plus attempting to murder 2nd lawmaker and wife; is tied to evangelical ministries, claims to be security expert with Gaza experience

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz
...Kamala's smarmy-looking VP running mate, governor of Minnesota and self-admitted knucklehead, who decided to retire rather than to deploy with his National Guard unit, then claimed to have been in Iraq and Afghanistan. One man's socialism is another man's neighborliness....
said a 57-year-old suspect was arrested on Sunday in the killing of a Democratic state politician and her husband while posing as a police officer.

The arrest was the culmination of a huge manhunt after the shooting deaths of Melissa Hortman, the top Democrat in the Minnesota House, and her husband, Mark, the previous day, which Walz characterized as a "politically motivated liquidation."

Authorities said the arrested suspect, Vance Luther Boelter, also allegedly shot and maimed another Democratic politician, state Senator John Hoffman, and his wife, Yvette, at their home a few miles away.

Walz said Hoffman, hit by nine bullets, was heading for recovery after emerging from his last surgery.

Boelter has links to evangelical ministries and claimed to be a security expert with experience in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip and Africa, according to online postings and public records reviewed by Rooters.

Boelter was charged with two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree attempted murder, a Hennepin County criminal complaint showed.

Three of those charges are punishable with jail terms of up to 40 years, according to the complaint unsealed on Sunday.

When police searched Boelter’s SUV after the shootings they discovered three AK-47 assault rifles, a 9-mm handgun, and a list of other public officials, including their addresses, the complaint showed.

Some Things About Boelter’s ‘Hit List’ Don’t Make Sense

[PJMedia] According to reports, Boelter’s vehicle contained flyers emblazoned with the slogan “No Kings”—the same phrase we saw at anti-Trump protests across the country this past weekend. So far, officials haven’t clarified whether Boelter intended to target those protests or if he was aligned with them ideologically. What we do know is that he left behind a manifesto and a lengthy target list that reportedly named both Democrat and Republican politicians, as well as abortion clinics.

But perhaps most striking is Boelter’s history with the state’s Democrat leadership. In 2019, Gov. Tim Walz appointed him to a four-year term on Minnesota’s Workforce Development Board. Before that, under former Gov. Mark Dayton, also a Democrat, Boelter held a position on a similar advisory council.

Liz Collin, an investigative reporter for Alpha News, released the so-called “hit list” that Boelter had — or, more accurately, a typed-up version of it.

Skepticism about the so-called “hit list” is growing on social media, where users have flagged several oddities. The list reportedly contains over 60 names, and while early reports claimed it included both Republicans and Democrats, there don’t appear to be any Republicans on it at all.

Adding to the confusion is the absence of Sen. John Hoffman’s name. Hoffman, whom Boelter allegedly shot along with his wife, would seem like an obvious inclusion. At first, his omission could have made sense since he was already hospitalized and in protective custody, but that logic falls apart when you notice that Melissa Hortman’s name was on the list, even though Boelter had already allegedly killed her.

One state senator on the list died of cancer last December. Another name appears twice. There are other strange details, too.

For a document supposedly central to a targeted attack, it’s oddly inconsistent, and speculation is growing that the list the media received may not be what it seems.

There’s still no update on the status of Boelter’s wife, Jennifer, who remains a key figure in the ongoing investigation. On Saturday morning, police detained her during a traffic stop near Onamia. According to reports, several of Boelter’s relatives were also in the car. According to Tom Hauser of ABC 5 Eyewitness News, nearly a dozen police vehicles descended on the car, locking down the area for as long as three hours. aa

Hauser’s sources say officers found a firearm, ammunition, a large amount of cash, and multiple passports inside the vehicle. While police made no arrests, officers took all individuals into custody for questioning, which raises more questions about how deep this situation goes.
And with hat tips to Deacon Blues and lotp, a taste of all the different ways this story is really, really odd from the Coffee & Covid blog:
The first act of the Minnesota mystery has now closed. The New York Times ran the story headlined, “Suspect in Minnesota Attacks Is Arrested, Ending Manhunt.” They called the largest manhunt in state history. The suspect, Vance Boelter—unemployed but mysteriously well-off—was found crawling through a cornfield about an hour from his house, a scene equal parts Coen brothers and classified op-gone-wrong.
A photo of Mr. Boelter as he was being arrested can be seen at the link.
They didn’t say if he’d crawled the whole way. But I can tell you this: He wouldn’t have lasted an hour in a field in Florida, not in that getup. It’s too hot. Even if he’d taken off his military-style cargo jacket, the skeeters would have got him. Or gators.

Anyway, the story of how they found Vance Boelter, 57, is as convoluted and difficult to credit as the rest of his bizarre story. It begins with an “alert police officer” (I swear that’s what they said), a conveniently located trail camera, drone surveillance, and— Bob’s Your Uncle, there he was. So far, this story bears many parallels to Trump assassin Ryan Routh’s: weird world travels, loads of inactive small business entities, military-level skills (from a pre-retiree!), and unaccountable funding without any visible source of income, which is the fact I will focus on for today’s post.

Boelter, 57, is a deeply strange figure: married father of five, owner of a sprawling rural estate, former convenience store manager, NGO “director,” freelance preacher, security consultant, business panelist, self-described funeral technician, and now—allegedly—a spree killer. His arrest narrative features the trademark deus ex trail cam, a conveniently alert patrol officer, and some helpful drone surveillance. Bob’s your uncle, Vance is in cuffs.

And just like Trump assassin Ryan Routh, the details get weirder the closer you look.

It first grabbed my attention as it became increasingly obvious the entire corporate media was avoiding saying one word in all the Boelter articles: unemployed. So far as I can tell, Boelter’s been out of work since his government grant ran out four months ago and he returned from Congo as though a man possessed by a demon.

But here’s the question: How did Vance Boelter fund an apparently lavish lifestyle —marked by a large home, five children, weapons, at least $50K in cash, disguises, and multiple vehicles (including a late-model SUV modified to look like a police car)— despite being unemployed? Where’d the money come from? It’s a conundrum, but don’t look to media to quell the curiosity.

Available information provides tantalizing clues without any definitive answers, and the narrative around Boelter’s finances is muddled by conflicting hot takes and unverified claims.

Boelter owned a rural home in Sibley County, Minnesota, 60 miles southwest of Minneapolis. He reportedly purchased it with his wife for around $500,000 just a few years ago. It sits on 11 acres halcyon rural acres, far from neighbors. The property, described by some as a “million-dollar estate,” suggests significant financial resources. And anyone who owns a home can imagine how much it costs to keep up. At least three businesses were registered at his address— none having offices or customers.

Boelter also bizarrely rented a room in North Minneapolis— a detail that screams staging house or cover identity, but is being treated like a quirky footnote.

Reports mention multiple vehicles, including a custom SUV (the one modified into a security/law enforcement vehicle), his wife’s car, and another expensive-looking auto found ‘abandoned’ near his home. The weapons and disguises (like a latex mask and police-style ballistic vest) imply access to specialized, costly equipment.
Aaaaaand he’s off! Go read the whole thing

Trump Says US Controls Iranian Airspace
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

As we should...

[Regnum] Iran's airspace is now under the full control of the United States, US President Donald Trump said on June 17.

"We now have complete and total control over Iranian airspace. Iran had good air surveillance and other defense equipment, and there was a lot of it, but it does not compare to what was designed, developed and manufactured in America," Trump wrote on his Truth Social page.

He did not provide any other details.

Strip, the territory's health ministry said, adding that dozens of others were maimed.

Medics said residents said Israeli tanks fired shells at crowds of desperate Paleostinians awaiting aid trucks along the main eastern road in Khan Younis. They said at least 51 people were killed and 200 maimed, with at least 20 of them at death's door.

There was no immediate comment by the Israeli military on the incident.

Witnesses said Israeli tanks fired at least two shells at thousands of people awaiting aid trucks. Nasser Hospital wards were crowded with casualties, and medical staff had to place some on the ground and in corridors due to the lack of space.

The incident was the latest in nearly daily mass deaths of Paleostinians who were seeking aid in past weeks, including near sites operated by the U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.

Iran Attacks Israeli Air Bases
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Iran attacked air bases in Israel. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, elite units of the Armed Forces) made a corresponding statement on June 17.

"The target of the new large-scale missile operation was the Zionist regime's air bases from which enemy planes take off [to carry out attacks] on our country," the Fars news agency quotes the IRGC statement as saying.

The IRGC also emphasized its readiness to continue conducting targeted operations against Israel.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, the Iranian security forces announced that they have many "aces up their sleeve" that will come as a surprise to Israel. According to the military command, Iranian troops are inflicting painful blows on the territory of the Jewish state.

On June 17, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that the situation surrounding the conflict between Israel and Iran is on the path of galloping escalation, and its level of unpredictability is absolute.

120 women and children injured in Israeli strikes on Iran

At least 120 women and children have been injured in Israeli strikes on Iran since June 13. This was reported on June 17 by Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani.

“The number of injured women and children has exceeded 100 and reached 120,” ISNA agency reports her words.

On June 16, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei reported that 73 people, including women and children, were killed in three recent IDF strikes on Tehran. He also noted that Tel Aviv is deliberately attacking civilian infrastructure and civilians.

On the same day, Iranian Health Minister Mohammad Reza Zafargandi announced that at least 1,800 people had been injured by Israeli aggression. He noted that most of those killed or wounded were civilians.

Arabia
The Failure of the Mole: Why Israel Can't Get Close to the Houthi Leaders
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Leonid Tsukanov

[REGNUM] The clashes between Iran and Israel are gaining momentum. Tehran's allied forces are gradually joining the fighting. Thus, the Yemeni movement "Ansar Allah" (Houthis) supported the operation against Israel from the first days and began to carry out massive strikes with hypersonic missiles.
Massive? That’s one way to describe it, I suppose…
It turned out to be not so easy to deal with the Houthis.

In addition to the impressive distance between Israel and Yemen and the lack of a common border, Tel Aviv still has no one to rely on “on the ground.” And this gives the Houthis a serious tactical advantage.

A BLOW FROM A NEW DIRECTION
A few days before the clashes began, the Israelis tried to knock the Houthis out of the game early by striking the port of Hodeida. The latter is considered the main transshipment point for weapons cargoes arriving in Yemen from Iran, and Tel Aviv hoped to “thin out” the arsenals of the forces allied with Tehran in this way.

It is noteworthy that for the first time since the beginning of the conflict between Israel and the Houthis, a strike on them was carried out from the sea. Several missile boats were involved in the operation, which moved more than two thousand kilometers from the shores of Israel.
Yemen happens to be on the way to Iran, but surely that is coincidental…
And although the effectiveness of the strike on Hodeida is questionable—the rapid fire only managed to damage a few docking hangars—the psychological effect of the operation was important for Tel Aviv.

With the attack from the sea, the Israelis allegedly proved that they can use not only aviation but also surface fleet in operations in the Red Sea. And the next stage could well be the use of submarines against Ansar Allah.
Or possibly Iran. But go on…
HUNTING FOR LEADERS
On the night of June 15, Israeli aircraft attacked the Yemeni capital of Sanaa. The task of the air force was to try to decapitate the Houthis. The current leader of the movement, Abul-Malik al-Houthi, the Chief of General Staff Mohammed Abdul Karim al-Ghamari and the head of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, were all in the crosshairs - according to the Israeli army leadership, they were all present at a secret meeting to prepare for a large-scale attack on Israel.

The Houthis have not officially confirmed the death of any of the figures mentioned. On the Israeli side, objective control is also difficult due to the lack of reliable sources "on the ground".
Almost all 49,000 Yemenite Jews were gotten out by Israel in Operation On Wings Of Eagles back in 1949-50. The last few were snuck out recently, which leaves none to spy on the insular, intermarried tribal types left behind to stew in their own juices. And to be fair, nobody else has got an agent inside, either — certainly not the atheists and “Roman” Sunday People of Russia.
That is why Tel Aviv preferred to hush up the issue, switching to covering the results of targeted liquidations of Iranian high-ranking officers, the verification of data for which is much easier.

However, it is not only Israel that has faced the problem of confirming the effectiveness of attacks in Yemen. The US, which previously tried to launch a combined operation against the Houthis, has not been able to exhaustively prove any of the liquidations of the movement's command.

And other supposedly successful raids (like the attack on the “missile formation” in April 2025, which turned out to be a village meeting) later turned into a reason for criticizing the Pentagon.

Israel, already under pressure from all sides due to the war on several fronts, prefers to avoid such stories for now.

A STRANGER AMONG HIS OWN
The lack of reliable informants in Yemen is becoming an increasingly serious problem for Israel over time. Each new “retribution operation” against the Houthis costs Tel Aviv a pretty penny and is fraught with many risks.

Hitting at random is not the best strategy in this case. Especially since the Houthi command - unlike, for example, their "colleagues" from the Lebanese Hezbollah - leads a more guerrilla lifestyle and holds key meetings at facilities in the mountains, rather than in official headquarters.

Attempts to get closer to the Houthis through Saudi and Emirati loyalists have led to nothing.

Neither Riyadh nor Abu Dhabi want to aggravate the situation in Yemen, from where they were only able to escape after an unsuccessful campaign relatively recently. And after the start of active clashes between Tel Aviv and Tehran, they also want to give the Iranians another reason to accuse their Arabian neighbors of secretly supporting Israeli expansion.

The Israelis came up with an ambitious plan to infiltrate a double agent into the Houthis. And, at first glance, it had every chance of success. Especially since Israeli intelligence had previously managed to plant "moles" in the most secret structures of Iran, Syria and Egypt, and to introduce them into the inner circle of the Hezbollah and Hamas leadership.
All were named Mohammed or similar, except that one guy…
Considering that the Houthis' counterintelligence, in the opinion of the Israelis, worked much worse than that of other groups of the "Axis of Resistance", the operation did not promise any major difficulties.

Mossad operatives managed to recruit one of the Houthi liaisons in Lebanon, codenamed Mehmed,
See?
who was responsible for exchanging information and intelligence with Hezbollah. However, he was arrested by Lebanese intelligence a few days after receiving his first operational assignment.

It was a coincidence: Lebanon was going through its own "witch hunt", provoked by the discovery of several high-ranking Israeli agents of influence among the security forces, and they decided to check their Yemeni counterpart "for show". And, as it turned out later, for good reason.

Tel Aviv tried to pull the hapless "mole" out of Lebanese jails by spreading a rumor about his diplomatic immunity and his affiliation with the security forces of the legitimate government of Yemen. However, representatives of the Yemeni embassy in Beirut refused the spy - an escalation of the conflict with Iran was not in their plans.

Most likely, this is not Tel Aviv's last attempt to plant someone in the Houthi structures. Otherwise, the Israelis will have to look for other approaches to shutting up the Yemeni front - including conducting a large-scale combined operation, for which the authorities do not yet have the strength or resources.

Moreover, the Houthis themselves do not allow the issue to be put on the back burner, continuing to fire harassingly throughout Israeli territory, blocking the sea and air ports of the Jewish state.

Britain
The British Bureaucrats Who Want To Govern American Tech
[American Liberty News] Last November, I issued a warning. The United Kingdom’s Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act (DMCC), then working its way through Parliament, was not a benign act of consumer protection. It was a deliberate regulatory incursion into the global tech economy, dressed up in bureaucratic language to obscure its true aims. At the time, many critics scoffed. They said I was exaggerating, engaging in nationalist chest-thumping, or mistaking precaution for aggression.

But as of June 15, 2025, the facts speak for themselves. Everything I warned about is now happening. The DMCC has come into force. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has begun investigations. The UK has given itself the tools, and now it is beginning to wield them. The opening salvos of regulatory warfare have already been fired.

It is not too late to act. But if President Trump does not move swiftly to counter this effort, the full brunt of British regulation will fall not merely on US tech firms, but on the very engine of American innovation. The time for euphemism is over. The DMCC is not a friendly nudge toward market fairness. It is an act of economic aggression.

Let us be precise. The DMCC’s digital markets provisions went into effect on January 1, 2025. These provisions allow the CMA to designate companies as having "Strategic Market Status" (SMS), a vaguely defined category that places firms under ex-ante regulatory supervision. That is, the CMA can now impose rules not in response to demonstrated wrongdoing, but preemptively, based on the suspicion that dominance might lead to harm. Such powers invert the bedrock principle of Anglo-American law: that enforcement follows evidence, not mere potential.

That which they cannot take for themselves, they hand over to the communists.

Karachi remains among world''s least liveable cities in 2025: survey
[GEO.TV] Bloody Karachi
...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous...

has once again ranked among the world's least liveable cities, according to the latest global liveability index published by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).

In the 2025 edition of the annual survey, Pakistain's financial hub was ranked 170 out of 173 cities evaluated. Karachi received an overall score of 42.7 out of 100, placing it just above Dhaka (Bangladesh), Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
(Libya), and Damascus (Syria).

Karachi was the only Pak city to appear in the index this year. In comparison, the top of the list featured cities like Copenhagen, which scored 98.0, followed by Vienna and Zurich, each with a score of 97.1. Melbourne (97.0) and Geneva (96.8) completed the top five.

The Austrian capital, which ranked as the world's most liveable city from 2022 to 2024, dropped to second place after its stability score declined due to two foiled terrorist attacks — one targeting a Taylor Swift concert and another at a train station.

It is pertinent to know that Karachi's position has remained relatively unchanged over the past few years. In 2024, the city was ranked 169th, similarly grouped with cities such as Lagos, Tripoli, Algiers, and Damascus.

The EIU's global liveability index is a benchmark report that evaluates urban living conditions across 173 global cities, providing comparative insights for governments, corporations, and global institutions.

Canadian prinicpal apologizes after high school valedictorian makes unauthorized comment praising Gazans
Of course they start with the bullshit land acknowledgement before slipping in the antisemitic slur.
[CTVnews] The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board says commencement ceremonies are not an “appropriate forum” for discussions on issues that impact the community, after the valedictorian made a pro-Palestinian remark in her speech at Bell High School.

The principal of the high school in Ottawa’s west end apologized to parents and guardians for the “unexpected and unapproved comments” made during the graduation ceremony last Thursday.

The National Council of Canadian Muslims says the valedictorian called for peace for the people of Gaza during her speech.

A video of the graduation speech posted on Instagram shows the valedictorian said after a land acknowledgment, "as a commitment to truth and reconciliation, I must acknowledge colonial and genocidal atrocities today, including the massacre of more than 17,000 Palestinian children in Gaza."

In a letter to parents, Bell High School principal Jane Conrod said the content of the speech, ”which touched on deeply sensitive global events, was not part of the pre-approved speech.”

“I am writing to acknowledge and express my deepest apologies for the unexpected and unapproved comments made during the valedictorian speech at last night’s commencement ceremony,” Conrod said.
The correct response, upon hearing unacceptable, unapproved words, is to stop the speech and walk the speaker out of the room to a controlled, supervised location until a parent or guardian can take the child home, stripped of diploma and honours, while the principal makes an announcement to the graduates and audience explaining exactly that before continuing the ceremony. To let the graduate complete the speech unimpeded connotes official approval. Failing that, the correct response for those on the podium and in the audience is to rise and walk out, depriving the speaker of an audience. That’s exactly what the Zionist students and families at MIT’s graduation did recently when their valedictorian pulled the same unclever stunt.
Some Bell High School students held a walkout Monday afternoon in support of the speech.

A spokesperson for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board tells CTV News Ottawa no students were suspended in relation to the graduation speech at Bell High School.
Again, refusal to punish indicates official approval, no matter what apology was written. Cowardly hypocrites, all.

Strikes on Kyiv. 06/17/2025
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin:

[ColonelCassad] In the morning there were one of the most powerful strikes on Kiev since the beginning of the SVO.

A large number of "Geraniyas" arrived, after which "Kinzhals", "Iskanders" and cruise missiles followed.

They covered the positions of the "Patriot" air defense missile system in Zhulyany, various enterprises, warehouses, etc.

The following were hit:

Kiev Armored Plant,

482nd Design and Technology Center of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (military unit A-2070),

1899th Central Base for Repair and Storage of Communication Equipment (military unit A-0476),

195th Central Base of Railway Equipment (military unit T-0710),

Warehouses southeast of the Antonov plant - according to unofficial data, there could have been already assembled drones there, ready for use.

The territory of the Zhulyany airport, where, in all likelihood, at least three flights occurred.

As a result of the work of the "air defense titans", a number of residential high-rise buildings in Kiev were also traditionally hit.

The enemy's air defense was completely broken through as a result of this combined attack - the damage will be significant.

Ukrainian authorities report damage to critical infrastructure in Kyiv
Critical infrastructure facilities were damaged in Kiev after explosions that thundered on the night of June 17. This was reported by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko in the Telegram channel.

Air raid sirens sounded in Kyiv last night. Ukrainian media reported a series of explosions in the capital.

Klimenko specified that 27 objects were damaged in different areas of the city, including “critical infrastructure objects.”

The Russian Defense Ministry did not report any strikes on targets in Ukraine at night.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, Russian troops, in response to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on civilian targets, strike energy, defense industry, military command and communications facilities in Ukraine. Air raid sirens are announced in Ukrainian regions every day, sometimes throughout the country. The press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly emphasized that there are no residential buildings or social infrastructure facilities among the targets.

Landing of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Tendrovskaya Spit. 06/17/2025

THE LANDING FAILED
Last night, Ukrainian formations attempted to conduct a landing sortie in the Tendrovskaya Spit area, with up to 8 boats. Their movement was detected on approach, and a battle ensued.
Wikipedia: The Tendra Spit or Island of Tendra is a sandbar in the Black Sea and part of Kherson Oblast in Ukraine
As a result, units in this area hit one of the boats with a Lancet, which sank. Fighters from the spit also report that one was damaged by small arms. After that, the enemy units turned around and left.

Landing attempts in this direction have occurred before. And each time, unsuccessfully. Now, the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to take advantage of the lull in activity and jump onto the spit unexpectedly, but our servicemen responded quickly.

However, this was only one of many attempts, and there will be others, since the Ukrainian Armed Forces have quite a large number of boats of various types. Preparations are in full swing, including near Ochakov, where the SSO Yug and TGr Garuda, a unit specially created for operations in the Black Sea, have settled in.

The video shows the sinking of a boat with the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces.

Servicemen of the 80th Arctic Brigade sank a boat with the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces personnel using the Lancet loitering munition.

This happened during the retreat of Ukrainian units after an unsuccessful landing attempt; one boat with a crew was completely destroyed and sank. The remaining vessels left in the direction of Odessa.

Russian naval infantry frustrate Ukrainian seaborne assault attempt in Tendrovskaya Spit area
On the night of June 17, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to land troops in the area of Tendrovskaya Spit in the Kherson region. This was reported by the region's governor Volodymyr Saldo.

Up to eight enemy boats took part in the action, but the Russian Armed Forces naval infantry confidently repelled the attack, Saldo said on his Telegram channel.

"Our units spotted them as they approached and accepted the battle. One of the boats with the militants was hit by a Lancet and sank. After that, the enemy turned around and quickly retreated," the governor noted.

Control over the situation in this area is maintained, Saldo added.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, in January the governor reported that Ukrainian formations continue to make unsuccessful attempts to land on the Tendrovskaya Spit. This concerns the deployment of small sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

According to Saldo, the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not take losses into account; the appearance that they are taking some steps is important to them. At the same time, such activity ends with the destruction of the saboteurs.

The governor stressed that such actions do not affect the operational situation in the region in any way. He expressed confidence that the Ukrainian army will not engage in a mass transfer of its forces across the Dnieper, despite the short distance between the banks of the river.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Key Moments of the Israel-Iran War
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Text taken from the Telegram channel of @playcivilization

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin:

[ColonelCassad] Some comments on the new war in the Middle East.
The following points remain outside the discussion of the course of military operations.

1. The United States is participating in this war.

It is naive to think that Israel relies only on its intelligence. The accuracy of Israel's strikes is such that only one country in the world can ensure this. Only the United States has the ability to collect primary data on all mobile network subscribers and either process it themselves, identifying the necessary contacts and establishing online surveillance of target people, or leak this database to Israel for processing.

But only the Americans can do the collection. They also have space reconnaissance systems that allow them to take accurate radar images of the terrain and military equipment several times a day in some cases, and to track the situation in real time in others, and to transmit this data to whoever they deem necessary.

In addition, the United States is directly involved in the destruction of Iranian missiles and UAVs outside Iranian territory. The United States is a participant in the attack on Iran, but the extent of US participation allows them to declare their non-involvement.

2. The factor of the so-called "sayyanim".

Sayanim (from Hebrew סייענים, English sayanim, in Hebrew - "helpers", assistants, (singular sayan, pl. sayanim) in the singular - sayan) - a secret international network of voluntary agents of Israel, managed by the operational units of the Mossad. These are Jews who under normal circumstances remain loyal to the country of residence and do not break the law, but on command are ready to provide assistance to the Mossad or another Israeli intelligence service without asking unnecessary questions.
I am half Israeli on my father’s side, and this is the first time I have heard of such a thing or of that word.
Sayans are usually not involved in operational work, due to their lack of training. Their tasks are simpler - for example, renting a large garage, finding and buying a car, providing some strangers with a place to live that meets the specified criteria, etc. Theoretically, they can be entrusted with more complex tasks if the supervisory officer considers it worth it.

In 1990, a book called "By Way of Deception" was published in Canada by retired Mossad officer Viktor Ostrovsky (co-authored with Canadian journalist Claire Hoy), who worked with the "sayanim". According to him, in London in the 80s, Mossad had 7,000 sayanim, which at that time was 0.1% of the entire city population. Zionist organizations are engaged in the recruitment of sayanim.

In Iran, anti-Semitism is officially condemned, and the Jewish minority has two reserve seats in parliament. The Jewish diaspora in Iran still exists, but officially at the turn of the 2000s there was a collapse in its numbers, from tens of thousands to thousands of people.

Nevertheless, this collapse was not accompanied by a reduction in the presence of Jews in public life, and a sharp, proportional reduction in the number of synagogues.Which may indicate that a significant part of the Jewish community of Iran has gone into the "shadows".

Perhaps it was then that the Sayans began to be activated en masse, because it was in those years that Iran's progress in a number of areas slowed down sharply, as its space program literally "came to a standstill."

The attack on Iran with the deployment of large contingents of special forces on Iranian territory, with the deployment of UAVs and missile systems near military facilities, with the outright failure of Iranian counterintelligence, could not have happened without the "sayans."

Anthropologically, Jews and Persians in Iran are indistinguishable, which makes it easier for the former to infiltrate anywhere. To understand the degree of indistinguishability (and infiltration capabilities), you can compare a photo of a rabbi with a photo of Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

3. Despite the spectacularity of the Israeli attack, it is more stunning than deadly.

Moreover, there is every reason to believe that in a fairly short time Israel will face a shortage of high-precision weapons. Forecast - they will be able to maintain the pace of strikes for several dozen days, but not more than a hundred.

Then everything will depend on the political will of the Iranian leadership and the degree of its control over the population.

At the cost of overexertion and disproportionately high losses, Iran can still win. But it will be very difficult

Yesterday, a similar measure was introduced in the Senate.

While the proposed legislation would likely face a presidential veto if Congress approves it, advocates say the effort could add to the pressure Trump is facing from opponents of war with Iran.

Surrendering positions in panic and without a fight: Russian troops are smashing the Ukrainian forces in west Donbass
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Sergey Adamov

[REGNUM] While the world is closely watching the clash between Israel and Iran, events in the SVO zone are developing very rapidly - and in favor of the Russian Armed Forces.

Over the past week, our troops have liberated a number of settlements in the DPR - near the border with the Dnepropetrovsk region and on the approaches to Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk), advanced into the border area of the Sumy region and inflicted serious damage on the enemy's logistics in key areas of the front.

The main success of Russian troops at the end of last week was the liberation of the village of Komar, 78 kilometers west of Donetsk. In recent months, Komar has been used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as the main stronghold in the western part of Donbas.

The village, which is located near the strategically important highway H15 Donetsk-Zaporozhye, was liberated by fighters of the 336th separate marine brigade. In Komar, a fairly large and well-fortified settlement, assault units had to clear out more than 1.1 thousand buildings. Several dozen enemy armored vehicles were destroyed.

A little later, the fighters moved to the villages of Fedorovka and Perebudova, which are located to the south and north of Komar, respectively. At the final stage of the assault, the Ukrainian Armed Forces units found themselves in a fire pocket and, in panic, surrendered some of their positions without a fight.

The enemy's attempts to counterattack and regain control of the settlement were thwarted. Having lost several units of armored vehicles, the Ukrainian troops were forced to retreat.

Madyar is left without "poultry farmers"

The enemy withdrew its main forces to the area of the village of Voskresenka near the border with the Dnepropetrovsk region, where the retreating units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces took a beating.

“A FAB strike was carried out on Voskresenka, as a result of which a platoon of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the enemy’s 141st infantry brigade, as well as operators of the 414th separate unmanned systems brigade, were destroyed,” the Defense Ministry reported.

It is noteworthy that the military department's report specifically mentioned the enemy's 414th brigade, a unit that specializes in the targeted use of drones. The airstrike killed experienced drone operators, leaving Ukrainian troops in this section of the front without the necessary support, a frontline source told IA Regnum.

"The brigade, also known as the " Birds of Madyar ", is a professional unit, it really does have specialists in both the development and use of unmanned aerial vehicles. They are sent in measured doses to the most threatened areas. Now we can see a decrease in the activity of enemy drones in our area," the agency's interlocutor said.

WHY TARNAVSKY WAS FIRED
According to sources on the ground, by driving the enemy out of the village of Komar, Russian troops have seriously disrupted the enemy's logistics in the far west of Donbass, near the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region. Combat operations continue in the area of the border villages of Shevchenko, Malinovka, Volnoye Pole, Zelenoe Pole and Novoye Pole. Here, due to the disruption of supply chains, the enemy has stopped receiving reinforcements and ammunition in the required volume.

The main task of Russian troops in this section of the front remains the creation of a buffer zone in the territory of the adjacent region in order to protect the settlements of Donbass from shelling and invasion attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In order to accomplish the task of clearing the eastern part of the DPR, the forces of the "Vostok" group will have to drive the enemy out of the settlements of Mirnoye and Poddubnoye, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces have turned into a fortified area.

Against the backdrop of failures at the front, the commander of the Donetsk group of Ukrainian Armed Forces, General Oleksandr Tarnavsky, was dismissed from his post – formally at his own request (Ukrainian media reported that the general complained of “deteriorating health”). Tarnavsky held this post for only six months.

Before him, Donetsk was headed by General Alexander Lutsenko, but in mid-December 2024 he was dismissed - "for the sum of his merits". It was Lutsenko who was one of the organizers of the failed "counteroffensive" in the Zaporizhia region in the summer of 2023, but the last straw was the advance of the Russian Armed Forces in December last year. Let us recall that then our troops liberated the city of Kurakhovo and pushed the front to Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk).

Now, after another advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the west of the DPR with an “entry” into the Dnepropetrovsk region, it is the turn of another general.

Now the group of troops is headed by Major General Viktor Nikolyuk, who previously held the position of Chief of Staff of the Donetsk group. However, Ukrainian media doubt that the appointment of a new commander will change the situation on the front.

"SOLID AGGLOMERATION"
Another success of Russian troops in Donbass was the liberation of the settlement of Malinovka east of the city of Krasnoarmeysk.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces units holding the village abandoned their positions and retreated towards Novoekonomicheskoe. Earlier, Russian troops also liberated the village of Mirolyubovka in this direction, approaching Novoekonomicheskoe from the south. To the north, assault units crossed the Chaplin Yar River and are advancing in the direction of Novotoretskoe-Razino. According to information from the field, the village may be semi-encircled in the foreseeable future.

"In essence, we are already talking about the suburbs of Krasnoarmeysk. The city has a satellite Mirnograd, which is adjoined to the east by Novoekonomicheskoe. That is, it is a solid agglomeration. But we have already said, we will repeat once again: until the communications are cut, there is no need to expect an assault on the city. Now they are bypassing Pokrovsk in order to encircle the enemy in the city," a source of IA Regnum reports.

According to his assessment, the enemy is not attempting a counteroffensive in this direction. In the spring, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces group was tasked with not only holding Krasnoarmeysk, but also dislodging Russian troops from their previously occupied positions. However, since then, the Russian Armed Forces have been able to launch an offensive on the city from the east, liberating dozens of settlements. So today, the Ukrainian Armed Forces command faces the prospect of encirclement and subsequent loss of the city, which is a vital logistical hub and stronghold.

"BUFFER" APPROACHES SUMY
In parallel with the offensive in Donbas, an operation to create a buffer zone in the Sumy region is ongoing. After the liberation of the settlements of Andreevka and Alekseevka, Russian troops continued their offensive along the H-07 highway in the direction of Korchakivka. A number of sources report that Russian troops have begun an assault on the enemy's second line of defense in this area.

According to unconfirmed reports, assault units of the Russian army managed to penetrate the defensive lines of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the section of the front between the villages of Pisarevka and Mala Korchakovka. There are also reports of the start of hostilities in the area of the village of Miropolye, where Russian troops were also able to push back the enemy. Local Ukrainian administrations and the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Sumy direction are preparing for the development of the Russian army's offensive. In the Sumy and Shostka districts, 60 settlements were immediately declared evacuated. At the same time, the southern border of the evacuation zone adjoins the outskirts of the city of Sumy.

Ukrainian media claim that most of the local residents have already left the dangerous areas. The fact that the enemy considers the situation in this direction threatening is evidenced by the fact that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since June 16, began reporting in its daily reports on the progress of military operations in another combat direction - the North Slobozhansky.

Preparing a bridgehead for a new offensive in this section of the front, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched several strikes against the enemy's rear. The Ukrainian Armed Forces' location near the Makovo railway station and the former Shostka penal colony were hit. Ukrainian sources fear that the front in this section may "crumble", while the main reserves of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are being spent on futile attempts to break through to Russian territory in other parts of the border.

A similar opinion is expressed in Western media. Thus, The New York Times in an article from June 14 noted that the offensive that began in May, in which the main bet is on mobile, fast-moving units, led to the undermining of Ukrainian defenses in the area of Pokrovsk, Konstantinovka in Donbass and Sumy Oblast.

The fate President Trump saved our military from
[YouTube] The SANDF today is a far cry from its former strength: holding ~71,000 personnel and operating on just 0.8% of GDP (~R56 billion), the force is plagued by underfunded operations, grounded aircraft, unserviceable ships, and crumbling infrastructure. Its stretched commitments—most recently in the DRC where SANDF troops suffered significant losses in early 2025—underscore systemic neglect and mismanagement. Critics warn that without urgent reform and investment, South Africa’s military will remain incapable of fulfilling its mandate domestically or abroad.

Britain
How Musk Forced The UK To Admit It's Islamic Grooming Gang Crisis
The fun jihad of rape.
[American Liberty] A decade of willful blindness has finally met its reckoning. Not by the British press, nor Parliament, nor even by the so-called safeguarding champions in government, but by a American entrepreneur armed with a smartphone and a stubborn sense of moral outrage. Elon Musk, through his unflinching commentary and willingness to name the unnamable, catalyzed a political confrontation the United Kingdom had artfully dodged for years. That confrontation produced the June 2025 National Audit on Group-Based Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, a report so scathing, so undeniable in its indictment of systemic failure, that even Labour was forced to respond.

The facts are now laid bare. For decades, the systematic rape and trafficking of working-class English girls, often underage, often in care, often forgotten, was ignored, minimized, or worse, blamed on the victims themselves. The perpetrators, mostly men of Pakistani heritage operating in tight-knit ethnic enclaves, were protected by a paralyzing mixture of political correctness, institutional cowardice, and multicultural denialism. To even mention the ethnic or religious identity of the abusers was to court accusations of racism, Islamophobia, or incitement.

It took Elon Musk to break the spell. Not through a well-polished BBC segment or a Guardian editorial, but through a series of caustic, indignant posts on X. Musk dared to say aloud what countless victims and whistleblowers had screamed into the bureaucratic void for years: that the UK’s grooming gang crisis was ethnic, organized, and systematically ignored.

His critics, predictably, recoiled. Prime Minister Keir Starmer accused him of spreading "misinformation," defending his record at the Crown Prosecution Service where he purportedly "reopened cases" and refined victim-support policies. But those defenses rang hollow in the wake of Baroness Louise Casey’s audit. The numbers speak for themselves: 100,000 child sexual abuse and exploitation crimes reported annually. An estimated 500,000 children victimized each year.
God dammit to Hell. We knew it was bad, but not that horrible. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer should be de-knighted as a starting point, then required to spend the rest of his natural life being prosecuted for covering all that up. And the whole thing televised.
Seventy-one percent of suspects identified in grooming cases are Islamic, sixty-two percent Pakistani. These are not fringe crimes. These are industrial-scale atrocities.
Indeed. We have reports on the subject in the Rantburg archives going way back. This from 2007 may well be the first: Grooming of white girls for sex is exposed as two Asian men jailed
Update at 9:40 a.m. EDT: Baroness Casey’s report in PDF form. The forward and executive summary are scathing.
