[Rudaw] Iraq has requested the repatriation of 36 families with suspected ties to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS) from the notorious Roj camp in northeast Syria (Rojava). However,
a woman is only as old as she admits... the families have reportedly refused, citing fears of retaliation, a senior Iraqi official said.
Speaking to Rudaw on condition of anonymity, the official stated that while 46 Iraqi families have been brought back from the camp so far, 38 others remain in the camp, adding that "their return requires security screening and procedures by Iraq's security agencies."
Roj camp houses nearly 2,600 people, including around 900 women believed to be ISIS krazed killers’ wives. Most of the Iraqi families there are originally from djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... , once the de facto capital of ISIS in Iraq, according to Mohammed Kakei, head of Nineveh province’s security committee.
Despite this, returnees are not expected to resettle in Nineveh. Instead, they will be relocated to Baghdad to undergo rehabilitation.
Sheikhmous Ahmed, the official responsible for displaced persons and refugee camps in Rojava, told Rudaw that "the Iraqi families in Roj camp refuse to return due to fears of retaliation from gangs" or prosecution by Baghdad. He also noted that some Iraqi families have left the camp for third countries.
The repatriation of individuals linked to ISIS remains controversial in Iraq.
While some communities are open to reintegrating family members not directly involved in crimes, others oppose the return of any individuals associated with the group. ISIS committed widespread atrocities in Iraq from 2014 to 2017.
Thousands of suspected ISIS affiliates remain in al-Hol and al-Roj camps, both under the control of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Rojava. al-Hol is significantly larger, housing nearly 35,000 people as of April - over 15,000 of whom are Iraqi.
Under a January 11, 2025 agreement, the SDF agreed to hand over 200 ISIS fighters to Iraqi authorities and facilitate the return of three convoys of Iraqi families. Baghdad aims to repatriate all Iraqi nationals from camps in Rojava by 2027.
[Rudaw] Two Kurdish men from Sulaimani province’s Kalar town were killed in the Dunkirk jungle in northern La Belle France, a notorious hub for migrants colonists hoping to reach Britannia by boat, sources told Rudaw.
The incident occurred on Sunday and resulted in the deaths of Karzan Abdullah and Mohammed Najm. Another Kurdish person, whose identity remains unknown, was injured. Authorities have not confirmed the incident as of the time of writing.
"Karzan lived in Germany for more than ten years, but he would go to La Belle France and the Dunkirk jungle for work," Abdullah’s cousin told Rudaw on Monday.
Abdullah was a former football player for a club in the Kurdistan Region. Najm was his friend and fellow townsman.
Ranj Pishdari, a migrant rights activist in Europe, told Rudaw that "Karzan got into an argument with someone from [Sulaimani’s] Chamchamal [district]. Mohammed Najm wanted to calm Karzan down and take the weapon from him, but at that moment, a bullet accidentally went off and killed Karzan.
"When Mohammed realized that Karzan was accidentally killed because of him, he ended his own life with the same weapon at the same location," Pishdari said.
Rudaw English could not independently verify Pishdari’s account of the tragic incident.
AFP cited a local police source on Monday as saying that a shooting at a migrant camp in Dunkirk on Sunday left one dead and two people seriously maimed, with no information released about the victims' identities. It remains unclear whether this incident is connected to the one involving the two Kurds.
The Dunkirk jungle, located about 235 kilometers north of Gay Paree near the French coast, is a well-known gathering point for migrants colonists attempting to cross to the UK by boat. Many engage in informal trade or smuggling to sustain themselves.
In December, a shooting spree in the Dunkirk area killed five people, including two Kurds from Iran’s western Kurdish areas (Rojhelat) who sought to cross the English Channel.

[IsraelTimes] Move comes amid ongoing Israeli strikes in Iran, with military using social media to propose concerned Iranian citizens reach out to ‘find a new way to improve their situation’
The Israel Defense Forces on Tuesday issued a public message in Persian calling on Iranians worried about the situation in the country — including, it noted, members of the security establishment — to consider contacting Israel’s spy agency Mosssd ...sees all, knows all, gets 'em all in the end... The statement, shared on the IDF’s official Persian-language X account, included a link to Mossad’s contact page, where individuals can confidentially share information.
"Dear citizens of Iran. We understand your difficult situation under the harsh conditions created by the regime. In recent days, we have received many messages from people who are worried about the current uncertain future," the statement said. "Even those who identify themselves as members of the regime’s security institutions have expressed to us their fear, despair, and anger over what is happening in Iran, and have asked us to contact Israeli authorities so that Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. "At this point, it is necessary to clarify that we are not the appropriate authority for such requests," the IDF continued. "But the least we can do is refer you through this link to the Mossad website."
It added: "Maybe you’ll find a new way to improve your situation there. Make sure you only contact us using an external VPN! We understand that you are yearning for a better future."
The tweet did not offer details about the nature or volume of the messages the military claimed to have received from Iranians. Nor was it immediately clear whether the move signaled a broader intelligence-gathering campaign or a psychological operation aimed at further destabilizing the Iranian regime from within — or both.
The IDF has maintained a Persian-language social media presence for years, mostly aimed at countering Iranian regime narratives. However,
it's easy to be generous with someone else's money... the new message marked a rare instance of the Israeli military openly suggesting that foreign nationals — particularly those in enemy states — engage with Mossad, in a possible appeal to would-be defectors or informants.
The Mossad’s secure contact page shared in the tweet is available in Hebrew, Arabic, English and Persian and allows individuals to send the agency a direct message. While it has been public for several years, Israeli authorities have rarely promoted it so explicitly via official channels.
Reactions to the IDF’s Persian message were sharply divided in the comments. Many Iranian users condemned the call as reckless, accusing Israel of openly encouraging espionage and putting citizens at risk. Others expressed skepticism or mocked the message.
Conversely, some user comments reflected anti-regime sentiment, welcoming Israel’s outreach as a sign of the regime’s weakening grip. Some urged caution, advising the use of VPNs or the secure Tor network to any who took up the Israeli offer, to evade Iranian surveillance.
So derivative — Mossad first did it decades ago, and the last time they called, the pagers blew up.
[IsraelTimes] Caller, speaking in Hebrew, tells recipients to run for shelter, vows Iran will destroy Israel; among those targeted, Religious Zionism and Yesh Atid officials
Threatening phone calls, apparently from Iran, have been made to a number of Israeli political figures over the past week, their recipients said Wednesday. "We're calling about your extended car warranty"
The callers, speaking in Hebrew, in some cases appeared to know exactly who they were calling as they vowed Iran would destroy Israel with missile attacks.
Among those who received a call was the director-general of the Religious Zionism party Yehuda Vald, and the office of Yesh Atid MK Shelly Tal Meron.
“Hello, you are Yehuda Vald, I want to tell you, you made a mistake. Wait for our missiles, okay?” said a caller to Vald. “I think it is worthwhile to remain in the shelter.”
“Who told you?” Vald responded and hung up.
“We will continue the war until the destruction of Israel. We will have revenge on you, you are cowards,” said a male caller to Meron’s office.
“I am calling from Iran, are you afraid or not? Today, you need to wait for our missiles, run to the shelter. We will continue the war until the destruction of Israel.”
“I think you need a diaper,” the caller said.
The lawmaker’s assistant then said, “Keep talking, I am locating your telephone.”
“No problem, I am calling from Iran and I am not afraid,” came the response.
Possibly the caller should be…
A statement on behalf of Meron thanked the Knesset Guard and its cyber directorate for attending to the matter.
“Calls like that won’t deter us, and won’t scare us,” it said.
Israel launched a major attack on Iran last Friday, saying it was a preemptive action against an imminent “existential” threat posed by Iran’s rogue nuclear weapons program and its ballistic missiles. Iran has responded with deadly barrages of ballistic missiles at civilian population centers and military targets in Israel.

While some Hebrew media reports initially said Saturday that al-Ghamari was believed to have been meeting with other Houthi leaders at the time of the strike, the Kan public broadcaster reported Wednesday evening that he was attending a social gathering for taking the drug.
Kan reported that the defense establishment received word that the Houthi military chief had been seriously injured in the strike and the attempted liquidation had ultimately failed.
The IDF did not comment on the report.

[HodhodYemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... News] The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Thursday the launch of the fifteenth wave of missile and drone attacks on military targets and industrial centers linked to the military industry in the cities of Haifa and Tel Aviv.
The attack comes in the context of the Operation True Promise 3, according to the statement
Today’s operation includes more than 100 combat and suicide drones, primarily targeting air defense systems in Haifa and Tel Aviv, the statement added.
"Escalated and effective missile operations that impact the military infrastructure and arms industry of the enemy remain the top priority at the current stage."
In the morning of the same day, the Iranian Armed Forces fires a wave of missiles, causing fires and much destruction in Haifa and Tel Aviv.
Iran’s Tasnim News Agency published on Thursday a map showing the precise targets of the Iranian missiles that struck Israeli military headquarters in Beersheva.
At least one ballistic missile launched by Iran at Israel in a barrage on Thursday morning was carrying a cluster bomb warhead, the Israel Defense Forces said, marking a dangerous new development after nearly a week of attacks.
The IDF Home Front Command said the missile’s warhead split while descending, at an altitude of around 7 kilometers (4.3 miles), spreading around 20 smaller munitions at a radius of around 8 kilometers (5 miles).
The munitions do not have their own propulsion or guidance and simply fall to the ground, where they are designed to explode on impact. An Israeli military official said such a missile poses a threat to a much wider area than Iran’s other ballistic missile warheads, but the explosion from each of the cluster bombs is far smaller.
One of the small munitions, with an explosive warhead of around 2.5 kilograms, struck a home in the central town of Azor, causing damage equivalent to that of a small rocket.
Many of the other munitions did not explode, according to the military official. The unexploded ordnance still poses a danger to anyone who happens upon them.
Home Front Command said sappers had found and disposed of 20 bombs, but warned that it could not be sure that others were still out there. It warned the public not to approach any missile remains they may find on the ground, which effectively act as landmines, and to alert authorities immediately if one is spotted.
Human rights groups have long campaigned for cluster bombs to be banned due to the random, indiscriminate nature of the threat they pose, unlike other types of munitions that can be used to precisely target combatants or military assets while minimizing harm to civilians.
In total, 112 countries have signed a 2008 convention banning the production, storage, sale, and use of cluster munitions. Iran and Israel are not among them.
The text of the 2008 Convention on Cluster Munitions says cluster bombs “kill or maim civilians, including women and children, obstruct economic and social development… impede post-conflict rehabilitation and reconstruction (and) delay or prevent the return of refugees and internally displaced persons… for many years after use.”
Three other missiles that directly impacted sites in Israel during the Thursday morning attack were carrying conventional warheads with hundreds of kilograms of explosives.
The volley of some 20 ballistic missiles was the latest in a series of daily attacks Iran has carried out since Israel launched an offensive against the Islamic Republic last week.
Missiles carrying large warheads hit Soroka Hospital in Beersheba and residential buildings in Ramat Gan and Holon, causing extensive damage and wounding dozens, including six seriously.
It was unclear how many other missiles were carrying cluster bomb warheads, as the rest were intercepted by air defenses.
Israel says its sweeping assault on Iran’s top military leaders, nuclear scientists, uranium enrichment sites, and ballistic missile program, which began last Friday, is necessary to prevent the Islamic Republic from realizing its avowed plan to destroy the Jewish state.
Iran has retaliated by launching over 450 missiles and around 1,000 drones at Israel. So far, 24 people have been killed in Israel and hundreds have been wounded.
…which isn’t much for that many attempts.
Some of the ballistic missiles have hit apartment buildings in Israel, causing heavy damage.
The major public hospital, which serves around 1 million people living in southern Israel, sustained extensive damage in the strike. Several wards were completely destroyed, with debris scattered across the parking lot and surrounding walkways.
The Health Ministry said 71 people were maimed in the attack, most of them suffering light injuries or panic attacks as they rushed for shelter. Hospital staff evacuated patients and cordoned off damaged areas.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said they had targeted Israeli military and intelligence headquarters near the hospital. An Israeli military official denied there were military targets nearby.
The hospital began moving patients out of some buildings in recent days as part of emergency precautions in response to the Iranian strikes. It has since limited admissions to life-threatening cases only.
Patients in the damaged building were taken to an underground facility just hours before the strike, a statement from the Israeli Health Ministry said.
An Iranian ballistic missile carrying a powerful warhead slammed into a residential area in the central city of Holon on Thursday morning, destroying several apartment buildings, injuring dozens, and forcing people to flee with little more than the clothes on their backs as emergency crews scrambled to pull survivors from the wreckage.
The strike was part of a broader Iranian missile barrage targeting central and southern Israel, sending hundreds to hospitals. At least six people suffered serious injuries nationwide, four of them in Holon.
Holon fire chief Shaul Rachamim confirmed that all those trapped beneath the rubble had been rescued and taken to nearby hospitals within two hours of the impact.
The missile struck a dense five-building complex in the working-class city south of Tel Aviv, hurling debris across the area and shattering windows blocks away. At the impact site, buildings were partially reduced to rubble, with whole sections collapsing from the strike.
The widespread damage was testament to the massive warheads Iran is putting on its missiles, often carrying hundreds of kilograms of explosives, several times the magnitude of missiles fired by terror groups in Gaza or Lebanon that Israelis have become accustomed to dealing with.
“We’re used to having patients with minor injuries,” Lazarovich said. “Now we’re seeing crush injuries, severe burns, smoke inhalation, and everything in between.”
“These missiles carry hundreds of pounds of explosives,” he added. “We have to adapt.”
Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo, who heads Israel’s Home Front Command, commended Holon residents for seeking shelter, as warned, ahead of the strike, likely saving lives and minimizing the extent of injuries.
“The civilians who were in the building heard the warning, the advance directive, went down to a shared private shelter located at the bottom of the building, and this saved their lives,” he said, calling it “an extraordinary example of civilian behavior.”
The Holon strike was one of several caused by a barrage of roughly 30 Iranian ballistic missiles launched Thursday morning. Other direct hits were reported at Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba and in Ramat Gan.
Though it was the second missile in as many days to hit the city, where Jews and Arabs both live, it was a sign of a vastly diminished Iranian attack capability. The size and frequency of missile barrages has fallen steadily.
Khamenei’s bluster seemed disconnected from the reality of conflict, as the IDF struck many targets in Iran overnight, including nuclear sites, missile production facilities, and key symbols of the Iranian regime.
[Jpost] Israel launched Operation "Rising Lion" last Friday, marking a powerful opening strike in its war against Iran. The operation successfully eliminated many senior figures in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and key individuals involved in Iran’s nuclear program.
In a striking twist, the operation targeting Iran’s nuclear scientists is known as "Narnia" in Israel, a name that reflects the operation’s improbable nature, like something out of a fantasy tale rather than a real-world event.
The Mossad responded to this message with a tweet of their own: "Iran claims to have attacked a Mossad building with missile strikes. Fortunately, no one was there... everyone is in Iran."
Throughout the operation, Israeli intelligence officials categorized Iran’s nuclear scientists into four levels for elimination, ranking them from highest to lowest priority. The scientists with the most military expertise and the greatest difficulty in replacing them were ranked highest. Israel then compiled a hit list, ready for execution at command, with the most dangerous scientists at the top.
The successful strike, which also targeted nuclear scientists, was made possible by the Intelligence Directorate’s precise intelligence. The killed scientists and experts were pivotal figures in Iran’s nuclear program, with decades of accumulated experience in nuclear weapons development. Many were direct successors of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, often regarded as the father of Iran’s nuclear program.
KEY SCIENTISTS ELIMINATED IN THE STRIKE
Among the senior nuclear scientists eliminated during the operation were:
Fereydoun Abbasi, a nuclear engineering expert
Mohammad Mahdi Tehranchi, a physics expert
Akbar Matlali Zadeh, a chemical engineering expert
Saeed Beraji, a materials engineering expert
Amir Hassan Faqahi, a physics expert
Abd al-Hamid Minushahr, a reactor physics expert
Mansour Asgari, a physics expert
Ahmad Reza Davalparki Daryani, a nuclear engineering expert
Ali Bakhayi Kathehremi, a mechanical expert
BEHIND THE SCENES: PLANNING THE OPERATION
A senior IDF official provided insight into the operation's planning: "120 individuals from Military Intelligence and the Air Force were brought into a facility in Unit 8200 to plan the operation. By January, the pressure was mounting as no solutions had been found. The consensus was clear - we needed to develop solutions targeting air defense systems."
The official added, "In the past year, we began constructing a target bank, and the breakthrough came when we discovered an intelligence base and an air force base. However, the target bank did not yet contain enough targets. Each team had its own mission: killing nuclear scientists, eliminating command centers, and radar systems. That’s when Operation 'Rising Lion' began."
PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE: ISRAEL’S NEW APPROACH
In an unexpected move, Israel has also embraced psychological warfare, a strategy typically associated with terror regimes but one that Israel has traditionally avoided. On Wednesday, a message posted on the IDF’s X/Twitter account in Persian urged Iranian citizens to contact the Mossad. The message implied that some members within the regime were begging Israel not to turn Iran into another Gaza or Lebanon. It read in Persian: "We understand that you are in a difficult situation under the conditions imposed by the regime. In recent days, we have received messages from our loved ones who fear the uncertain future."
The message continued, "Even members of the regime’s security institutions are expressing fear, despair, and anger at what is happening in Iran and are asking us to contact the Israeli authorities - to avoid the same fate as Gaza and Lebanon. However, we must clarify that we are not the address for such requests, and we direct you to contact the Mossad. Perhaps you will find a way to improve your situation." A link to the Mossad was provided, with a warning to use a secure and encrypted connection (VPN).
The Mossad responded to this message with a tweet of their own: "Iran claims to have attacked a Mossad building with missile strikes. Fortunately, no one was there... everyone is in Iran."
*Snicker* That’s chutzpah.

Haiti goes from bad to worse — this is a country demonstrably incapable of self rule. Unfortunately, sending in a UNSC Mandate government to rule them for three generations, retraining the culture into something civilized, is not possible in the post-colonial zeitgeist, both to vote for it and to do the hard work.
[Breitbart] A mob of angry Haitian citizens stormed a hydroelectric plant in the town of Mirebalais on Wednesday, plunging the capital city of Port-au-Prince into darkness, in an attempt to protest the lack of government action against gang violence.
The people of Mirebalais did something similar in May, swarming into the Peligre dam and shutting down its power plant to protest police inaction. Gangsters had swarmed into the town in late March, murdering dozens of people, burning houses, and taking over the local prison.
Peligre is Haiti’s main power plant, an aging facility that dates back to the 1950s and currently runs at a little over half its rated capacity due to poor maintenance. Mirebalais residents decided to storm the facility after the invading gangsters treated themselves to a big concert in the middle of town on May 11. Furious residents took the concert as a symbolic demonstration of gang supremacy and government weakness.
“If the police were serious, that event would never have happened. Now I just sit outside playing dominoes. I can’t even go to town anymore,” a local man complained in May.
The power plant remained offline for several days in May, which angry locals said was further proof of the government’s passivity and incompetence.
Although the townsfolk might seem to have been hurting themselves by causing a blackout, many of them already used portable generators. Supporters of the dam protest said they wanted to make the wealthy political elites in the nation’s capital feel as helpless and uncomfortable as the poor residents of rural communities.
Police officials insisted they did fight back when the gangs invaded Mirebalais, killing some 60 gang members and losing at least one officer from the Anti-Gang Tactical Unit in gun battles. Local vigilante groups managed to kill a few more of the hoodlums.
The Viv Ansanm gang coalition nevertheless declared itself in control of the town, posting photos of hostages it captured and buildings it destroyed. Hundreds of residents fled the town in terror. Other towns feared it was only a matter of time until they were attacked next.
The new storming of the Peligre dam occurred on Wednesday after the police had a showdown with the gangsters occupying Mirebalais – and lost. The victorious gangsters were reportedly able to capture a vehicle from the outmatched security forces and set it on fire.
The gangs uploaded footage of their celebratory car-burning to social media, and a few hours later, the irate residents of Mirebalais uploaded video of themselves overrunning the power plant and knocking over one of its transmission towers.
Where's the AI?
[Breitbart] On Thursday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Way Too Early,” Rep. Jonathan Jackson (D-IL) reacted to the State Department announcing that it will be reviewing the social media accounts of applicants for student visas by stating that the guidelines are “too subjective” and have not been made clear and there are issues around freedom of speech and expression with the move, but also that the State Department should “widen the aperture for antisemitism, for racism, for xenophobia, that, if you’re going to have the proper aperture to deal with these issues, make sure that it’s humane and it’s broad.”
Jackson said, “Well, this is so arbitrary that no one understands the guidelines, and these definitions have not been published or articulated. And so, this is going to be problematic, and this also has to deal with the level of freedom of speech as well as freedom of expression.”
He continued, “And I think they should also widen the aperture for antisemitism, for racism, for xenophobia, that, if you’re going to have the proper aperture to deal with these issues, make sure that it’s humane and it’s broad. But this is going to be problematic. It’s too subjective.”
[Breitbart] Nvidia has joined a $650 million funding round for TerraPower LLC, a nuclear energy startup founded by creepy Bill Gates. The company plans to further develop its advanced reactor project in Wyoming, which could one day contribute to the insatiable power demands of AI datacenters full of Nvidia chips.
The modern AI boom is pushing our power grid to its limits. ChatGPT alone processes roughly 1 billion queries per day, each requiring data center resources far beyond what’s on your device.
In fact, the energy needed to support artificial intelligence is rising so quickly that it has already delayed the retirement of several coal plants in the U.S., with more delays expected. Some experts warn that the AI arms race is outpacing the infrastructure meant to support it. Others argue it could spark long-overdue clean energy innovation.
AI isn't just reshaping apps and search engines. It's also reshaping how we build, fuel and regulate the digital world. The race to scale up AI capabilities is accelerating faster than most infrastructure can handle, and energy is becoming the next major bottleneck.
[Breitbart] Leftist direct action group Palestinian Action, which has been engaged in a campaign of violent sabotage of Israel-linked supply chains since the October 7th attacks, has claimed responsibility for a strike against the United Kingdom’s Royal Air Force overnight.
Two RAF logistics jets were damaged at one of Britain’s most theoretically secure airfields overnight into Friday by Palestinian Action activists who were able to escape undetected.
Two activists were able to infiltrate RAF Brize Norton, cause damage with paint-filled fire extinguishers and crowbars, paint a symbol on the runway and hang a Palestinian flag before leaving the area, all without being caught.
The air base is a legally protected place in British law and is heavily guarded, leaving serious questions asked about the state of its defence given two activists on e-scooters were able to cause damage undetected. The Commanding Officer of RAF Brize Norton, Group Captain Louise Henton OBE, a career “personnel and administrative officer” deactivated her X account on Friday morning after news of the infiltration became public.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The longest-standing dark web drug market worth £200million has been dismantled following a years-long investigation with its alleged mastermind arrested in Barcelona.
The site, known as Archetyp Market, was busted last week by European authorities with the help of the US in an effort dubbed 'Operation Deep Sentinel'.
Europol said in a statement on Monday that between June 11 and 13, 300 officers were deployed to carry out a 'series of coordinated actions' across Germany, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain and Sweden targeting the platform's administrators, vendors and technical infrastructure.
It added that the platform's infrastructure in the Netherlands was taken offline and that the mastermind behind the operation - a 30-year-old German known as 'Big Boss' - had been arrested in Barcelona.
Users of the Archetyp Market website are now met with a banner informing them the site has been taken down.
'This operation led by the German authorities marks the end of a criminal service that enabled the anonymous trade in high volumes of illicit drugs, including cocaine, MDMA, amphetamines, and synthetic opioids', the statement said.
So is this a tool of the narco gangs connected to regional and transnational jihadi groups, or is it a clearinghouse for lots of small time local buyers and sellers?
Europol said the takedown comes after years of investigation into the platform's 'technical architecture' and the individuals behind it, adding that its findings were achieved by analysing digital forensic evidence.
Europol's Deputy Executive Director of Operations Jean-Philippe Lecouffe said: 'With this takedown, law enforcement has taken out one of the dark web’s longest-running drug markets, cutting off a major supply line for some of the world’s most dangerous substances.
'By dismantling its infrastructure and arresting its key players, we are sending a clear message: there is no safe haven for those who profit from harm.'
It comes after international law enforcement agencies led by the FBI seized a sprawling dark web marketplace popular with cybercriminals back in 2023.
The hacker cyber-bazaar, known as Genesis Market, was seized in a multinational crackdown dubbed 'Operation Cookie Monster' after the site's specialization in stolen digital fingerprints, known as cookies.
According to the FBI, Genesis Market offered access to data stolen from more than 1.5 million compromised computers around the world, containing over 80 million account access credentials.
The stolen data included passwords for services such as online banking, Facebook, Amazon, PayPal and Netflix, as well as digital fingerprints that can be exploited by criminals to bypass online security checks by spoofing the victim's device.
In coordinated raids around the world, more than 200 searches were carried out and about 120 people were arrested, including 24 arrests in and around the British town of Grimsby, UK law enforcement officials said.
The raid on Genesis followed a similar US-led enforcement actions in 2023 against other darknet hacker market places, including Hydra Market and Breach Forums.
But experts warned that hacker gangs are often slippery, and similar markets often soon re-emerge.
[FoxNews] Grzegorz Vandenberg, 48, is facing federal charges for allegedly buying fireworks with the intent to harm law enforcement officers and government officials at the Los Angeles protests, the Department of Justice said in a press release.
Vandenberg allegedly visited a travel center in New Mexico, where he "requested assistance in selecting fireworks that could be thrown directly at people to cause harm," according to prosecutors.
While at the store, federal authorities allege, he told employees he previously served in the military’s special forces and claimed he could make pipe bombs before revealing he was planning to travel to Los Angeles to kill law enforcement officers and government officials in the anti-ICE riots.
"This man allegedly intended to use the chaotic riots in Los Angeles as an opportunity to commit deadly violence against law enforcement officers," Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a statement. "Threats like these strike at the heart of law and order. We will not hesitate to bring federal charges against anyone who seeks to harm law enforcement or endanger the safety of our communities."
Staff members at the store told authorities Vandenberg requested to buy the "largest explosives available" and invited an employee to join him at the riots, the DOJ said.
He also allegedly claimed to be in possession of mortar explosives and further revealed his plan to use them on officers at the riots. Vandenberg ultimately "purchased six mortars," each containing 60 grams of gunpowder, and 36 large fireworks, according to federal prosecutors.
"Our message is clear: If you come after law enforcement officers, the FBI will spare no effort to find you and bring you to justice," FBI Director Kash Patel said. "This defendant allegedly intended to use explosives to attack police officers currently conducting law enforcement operations in Los Angeles and – with the help of a store cashier who took down his license plate information – we were able to put a stop to that plan."
Vandenberg was charged with transporting explosives in interstate commerce with the knowledge and intent that they would be used to kill, injure or intimidate individuals, according to the DOJ. He is in custody as he awaits trial and faces up to 10 years in federal prison if convicted.

Could be that Newsom is secretly happy about this. He gets to keep calling Trump a Nazi. He gets to keep claiming the riots are Trump's fault for deploying the Guard in the first place. But if LA was to go up in smoke, it wouldn't look good for Newsom either. Even if he blames Trump, the riots don't look good for him. This way, Trump keeps a lid on the riots and the communists get mad at him, not Newsom.

[ET via ZERO] Long-term marijuana smoking and THC edible use may harm the blood vessels as much as tobacco, a new study suggests. The research indicates that cannabis users might face an increased risk of heart disease, even if they are otherwise healthy.
Both smoking and eating cannabis caused the blood vessel linings to not work as effectively, even in otherwise healthy adults who never used tobacco, researchers at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) found.
"The blood vessels don’t seem to care whether the smoke is from tobacco or cannabis," study author Matthew L. Springer, professor of medicine at the Cardiovascular Research Institute at UCSF, told The Epoch Times. The research shows cannabis users had blood vessel function "very similar" to tobacco smokers in previous studies, he noted.
Different Methods, Same Damage
For the estimated 17.7 million Americans who use marijuana in some form every day, according to polling data, the study raises important questions about long-term health risks that remain largely unstudied.
The research, recently published in JAMA Cardiology, tracked 55 healthy adults aged 18 to 50, dividing them into three groups: marijuana smokers, THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) edible users, and non-users. All cannabis users consumed their preferred method at least three times weekly for more than a year—making them regular, not casual users.
Springer said they had a good reason for the relatively small number of participants. "We were very picky!"
"The study is very clean in that our cannabis user groups have never been tobacco smokers/vapers, and tend to avoid secondhand smoke," he added. "The marijuana smokers only smoke marijuana and don’t vaporize it or vape THC, and our THC edibles group avoids all smoke."
Researchers measured blood flow-mediated dilation, which shows how well blood vessels relax and contract. Both cannabis groups showed significantly worse vascular function than nonusers, with heavier use linked to greater damage.
Israel strikes Iranian nuclear reactor
[Yahoo-Telegraph] Israel struck an Iranian reactor in the central city of Arak on Thursday in its latest efforts to destroy the regime’s nuclear programme.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it targeted Iran’s heavy water nuclear reactor, striking what it described as "a key component in plutonium production".
A black and white video, circulated online by the IDF, showed a missile crashing into the target, followed by a large explosion.
Both sides have been fighting for nearly a week since Israel launched attacks on Iranian nuclear sites and killed several top generals and nuclear scientists.
On Thursday, Israel said its warplanes also struck a facility at Natanz, a key Iranian nuclear site, which was being used to develop nuclear weapons, a military front man said.
The IDF said: "The site houses unique components and equipment used for the development of nuclear weapons, and hosts projects that enable the acceleration of the nuclear weapons programme."
Earlier on Thursday, the IDF announced it had struck a nuclear site in Bushehr, which sits on the Gulf coast and is understood to be Iran’s only operating power plant.
The announcement caused concern among neighbouring Gulf states because of the contamination risk to the surrounding air and water.
But Israel was forced to retract i,t admitting it had been "a mistake". When pushed, a front man said it could "neither confirm nor deny" whether the reactor was attacked.
Israel has said its goal for the war is to demolish Iran’s nuclear programme, which the West fears is close to building a bomb.
Some officials signalling that the attacks are also aimed at forcing the collapse of the Iranian regime, with possible US support in the near future.
The Arak nuclear reactor has been a key feature of Iran’s nuclear programme for decades, with Tehran insisting that it is only used for civilian purposes and not for the creation of nuclear bombs.
In 2016, Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... agreed to remove the core of the Arak reactor and fill it up with concrete under the now-defunct Iran nuclear deal, which eased sanctions on Tehran in exchange for curbing the nuclear programme. The first Trump administration withdrew from the nuclear pact in 2018.
In 2019, Ali Akbar Salehi, Iran’s nuclear programme chief, said Tehran had replaced a calandria, a key component in the reactor, so that work on the programme could resume.
The IDF said: "The reactor is designed to produce high-yield plutonium, which would enable the acquisition of nuclear weapons. The attack was carried out against the component intended for producing plutonium, thus preventing its ability to be reused to produce nuclear weapons."
It added that it had also carried out overnight strikes, involving 40 aircraft and 100 munitions, against several Iranian military facilities.
The UN nuclear watchdog confirmed Thursday that IDF strikes had hit Iran’s partially built Khondab Heavy Water Research Reactor and damaged the nearby plant that makes heavy water, a component used in nuclear react.
“IAEA has information the Khondab (former Arak) heavy water research reactor, under construction, was hit. It was not operational and contained no nuclear material, so no radiological effects,” the International Atomic Energy Agency said in a post on X.
In its first statement on the attack in central Iran, the IAEA said it had no information indicating the nearby plant that produces heavy water had been hit. The agency later issued a statement revising that assessment.
“While damage to the nearby Heavy Water Production Plant was initially not visible, it is now assessed that key buildings at the facility were damaged, including the distillation unit,” the IAEA statement said.
The strike on the Arak heavy water reactor came a week into Israel’s campaign of airstrikes against the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program and military leadership.
Heavy water reactors use heavy water, also known as deuterium oxide, as a moderator, a material that slows down fast-moving neutrons released during the nuclear fission process that generates heat in the reactor.
The Arak facility that was struck overnight Thursday was originally designed in a way that would make it capable of easily producing plutonium, which could be used to produce nuclear arms.
Under a 2015 deal with major powers, the heavy water plant was redesigned to reduce the nuclear weaponization risk and its core was removed and filled with concrete. Iran had informed the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency the reactor would start operation in 2026.
The IDF, which issued a warning to residents of the area to evacuate ahead of the strike, said the attack on Arak “targeted the component intended for plutonium production, in order to prevent the reactor from being restored and used for nuclear weapons development.”
Even if unique U.S. conventional strike capabilities are brought to bear, there could still be significant targeting challenges, especially if the Iranians move to disperse elements of their nuclear program.
[TWZ] MQ-28 drones can provide organic protection and extended sensor capabilities for lumbering support aircraft like the E-7 early warning jet.
MQ-28 Ghost Bat drones have demonstrated their ability to engage an aerial target while under the direction of the crew of a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) E-7 Wedgetail airborne early warning and control aircraft. The RAAF plans to conduct more crewed-uncrewed teaming tests this year with the MQ-28, including with F/A-18F Super Hornets and F-35A Joint Strike Fighters, as its plans for the drone evolve.
Boeing announced the MQ-28/E-7 test on Monday, which involved a pair of real Ghost Bats and a third drone simulated entirely in a digital environment, along with the Wedgetail, but did not explicitly say where or when it had occurred. Since the MQ-28’s first flight in 2021, RAAF Base Woomera and its surrounding range complex have been, together, a central hub for Ghost Bat testing in Australia. To date, Boeing has delivered eight MQ-28s to the RAAF in a Block 1 prototype configuration, and the company is on contract to supply three more Ghost Bats in an improved Block 2 configuration.
“During the mission, a single operator onboard the E-7A took control of the uncrewed MQ-28s emulating the role they play in flying ahead of and protecting crewed assets,” according to a Boeing release. Underlying software used in the test “was jointly developed and implemented by Boeing Defence Australia, Defence Science and Technology Group, and the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratories.”
“This trial demonstrates family-of-systems integration, the strength of our open systems architecture, and is a critical first step towards integrating mission partners’ software and communications systems natively into the E-7A Wedgetail,” Glen Ferguson, Boeing’s director of MQ-28 Global Programs, said in an accompanying statement. “It not only validated a key element of the MQ-28 concept of operations, but also how collaborative combat aircraft can expand and enhance the role of the E-7A to meet future force requirements.”
“It is another tangible proof point of the maturity of our program.”
The idea of using MQ-28s as uncrewed loyal wingmen to help protect high-value assets like E-7s has been part of the RAAF’s vision for using the drones from the very start of what is also known as the Airpower Teaming System (ATS) program. It is a mission set that has been envisioned for other next-generation drones for some time, as well. In addition to providing an extra layer of defense for important, but often vulnerable support aircraft like the Wedgetail, this would also help free up crewed combat jets for other missions.
Unfortunately, we're cancelling our E-7 buy, and the RAF(who tried to cheap out by buying used airframes for theirs) can't even keep the test airframes flying; supposedly been 7 months since the last flight.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A faltering American tech icon is set to lay off as much as a fifth of its workers next month.
Intel — once the dominant chipmaker which powered most PCs — sent an email to employees on Saturday, warning that job cuts are coming to its factories.
'These are difficult actions but essential to meet our affordability challenges and current financial position of the company,' Naga Chandrasekaran, the tech giant's vice president of manufacturing, said in the memo seen by Oregon Live.
Chandrasekaran said the company is aiming to slash 15 to 20 percent of its factory workforce in July, a move that could push thousands of Americans into job searches.
With Intel employing 109,000 globally, that would mean 16,350 to 21,800 layoffs.
It is not clear how many work in US-based factories, and how many American jobs will go.
Recently, Intel reported employing more than 20,000 staffers at its plant in Hillsboro, Oregon.
The news comes a day after Microsoft said it was cutting thousands of jobs, and two days after Amazon's CEO also announced brutal workforce cuts. Both linked the cuts to AI.
This marks the second round of layoffs for the legendary tech company in a year. Last December, Intel slashed 15 percent of its workforce after its stock price dropped by more than 60 percent.
The two sets of layoffs are a response to rising pressure from upstart competitors, compounding financial losses, and a declining stock price.
For years, Intel had been a dominant force in tech, manufacturing components for computers such as chips and microprocessors.
But in recent years, its competitors have made major technological strides. Chipmakers AMD, IBM, TSMC, and NVIDIA have surged past Intel by investing heavily in processors built for artificial intelligence.
AI chip deployment has been a weak spot for Intel. Investors have punished the company for its apparent flat-footedness.
Intel traded above $68 a share in 2021, but it’s currently trading just north of $21.
The company reported an $821 million loss in the first quarter of this year.
It is also receiving billions of dollars in federal support through the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act, which aims to bring militarily critical tech manufacturing back to the US.
The company is awaiting the arrival of $6.9 billion in federal grants to support factory builds and growth in Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico, and Ohio.
Intel has delayed construction of its Ohio factory until 2030.
JOBS JETTISONED
Some of America's biggest companies have announced sweeping job cuts this year.
In May, Walmart — America's largest employer — announced it was cutting 1,500 jobs from its tech operations and e-commerce teams.
Procter & Gamble, the owner of Tide detergent and Gillette shaving products, is also undergoing significant cuts. The company said it would eliminate 7,000 positions.
Job losses have been even more pronounced in the tech sector, as firms increasingly replace human employees with hyper-intelligent machines. The AI-driven job bloodbath marks a major shift for American workers. For years, mass layoffs were concentrated in US manufacturing plants. Now, they're impacting college-educated, high-to-middle-class earners.
Microsoft — one of the leading firms investing in AI — is expected to lay off thousands of employees next month as it shifts resources toward deeper investments.
Amazon CEO Andy Jassy recently said the quiet part out loud: the technology will uproot thousands of Americans from their jobs.
'As we roll out more Generative AI and agents, it should change the way our work is done,' he wrote to his employees in a memo.
'It's hard to know exactly where this nets out over time, but in the next few years, we expect that this will reduce our total corporate workforce.'
So far, the cuts haven't had a statistically significant impact on overall job numbers in the US. Last month, employers continued to add jobs. But job creation is starting to slow.
#4
Intel spent the last 8 years celebrating their woke culture while companies like TSMC dug in and built new facilities and new processes. TSMC is building the largest chip manufacturing facility in the world, right here in AZ. Intel will not recover, it will become a sub contractor the TSMC. They owned thwe market, and they blew it.

[SlayNews] The United Nations’ World Health Organization (WHO) and several other top European health agencies have been hit with a criminal complaint over surging reports of people developing deadly "turbo cancers" caused by Covid mRNA "vaccines."
The new criminal complaint was filed in France and presents evidence linking Covid mRNA "vaccines" to the rapid onset of metastatic pancreatic cancer.
According to a report from French outlet The Daily News, the case sounds alarming about surging cases of "turbo cancer" and related deaths following mRNA injections.
The complaint was filed over the death of a French psychiatric nurse who had developed a rapidly spreading metastatic pancreatic cancer.
It calls for a full investigation into possible poisoning, medical malpractice, failure to obtain informed consent, and human experimentation without authorization.
The complaint was submitted on June 18, 2025, to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Named in the complaint are key regulatory bodies and individuals involved in Covid "vaccine" policy and approval:
World Health Organization officials, including Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus
French Medicines Agency (ANSM)
European Medicines Agency (EMA)
High Health Authority (HAS)
Pharmaceutical companies Moderna and Pfizer
Former French Health Minister Olivier Véran
The complaint was filed by a grieving husband in France, who is raising the alarm about what he calls a catastrophic failure of government, medicine, and global health authorities.
He argues that his wife was one of the skyrocketing number of people around the world who died from "turbo cancers" caused by mRNA injections.
His sweeping criminal complaint accuses powerful institutions of hiding deadly "vaccine" risks, suppressing medical truth, and using the public as test subjects for experimental mRNA technology.
The complaint centers around the sudden and aggressive onset of pancreatic cancer that killed his wife, a 49-year-old nurse, in less than two months.
She received two doses of an mRNA Covid vaccine in August 2021 and January 2022.
Less than a year and a half later, in June 2023, she was diagnosed with a fast-moving pancreatic "turbo cancer."
By August, she was dead.
Her husband and his wife suffered a vaccine-induced "turbo cancer."
The term is used by some medical researchers and whistleblowers to describe cancers that explode in severity shortly after mRNA vaccine administration.
Some leading oncologists have warned that their seemingly healthy patients can die within a week of turbo cancer diagnosis.
According to the legal filing, his wife was never fully informed about the serious risks of mRNA "vaccines.".
While she was told to expect minor symptoms like fatigue and headaches, she was never warned about potential life-threatening effects such as myocarditis, immune suppression, or accelerated cancer growth.
The complaint argues this violates Article 5 of the Oviedo Convention, an international agreement on medical ethics that mandates full, transparent informed consent for any medical procedure.
The plaintiff, supported by a growing chorus of medical dissenters, also lays out scientific allegations suggesting the mRNA vaccines may interfere with critical systems in the human body.
He claims the shots inhibit tumor-suppressing proteins like p53, potentially making the body more vulnerable to cancer.
He also raises concerns that mRNA vaccine components may disrupt hormone regulation through the renin—angiotensin—aldosterone system, which is linked to organ malfunction and tumor development.
He further notes that lipid nanoparticles used to deliver the mRNA have carcinogenic properties, while genetic modifications using pseudouridine can allegedly lead to the production of unnatural "ghost proteins."
Even more concerning, the complaint asserts that the "vaccines" include HIV-like genetic sequences that may suppress natural immune defenses, leaving the body more exposed to illness and disease.
As Slay News has previously reported, this phenomenon has been dubbed Vaccine-Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (VAIDS) or vaccine-induced AIDS.

[Regnum] The Iranian military launched a missile attack on the Israeli army's cyber command headquarters and intelligence center in Gav Yam. This was reported by the Iranian agency IRNA.
"The main targets of the attack were a major IDF C4I command and control center and a military intelligence camp in Gav Yam. These facilities house thousands of troops, digital command systems, cyber operations, and C4ISR systems of the Zionist army," the statement said.
The agency also clarified that the main target of this strike was military facilities, and a nearby hospital was only slightly damaged by the blast wave.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated Thursday evening that Israel is "ahead of schedule" in its military campaign against Iran, exceeding prior expectations and poised for further success.
In a rare Hebrew-language interview with the Kan public broadcaster, Netanyahu said Israel has destroyed at least half of Iran’s missile launchers, eliminated key military leaders, is targeting paramilitary forces and will hit all of Iran’s nuclear sites — including the heavily fortified Fordo nuclear facility.
"We are ahead of the schedule we set, both in terms of timing and results," the premier said, nearly a week after Israel launched what it says is a preemptive campaign to neutralize an existential nuclear threat from Iran.
"The work has been outstanding," Netanyahu said, explaining that he decided on the plan when a series of IDF operations left Iran’s strongest proxy, Hezbollah, "on its knees" toward the end of last year, and it became clear that Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. "was racing toward a nuclear capability."
"The elimination of [former Hezbollah head Hassan] Nasrallah," along with Israel’s gains against the Hamas ..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,... terror group, "broke the Iranian axis. What does [Iran] have left?... This operation has been in planning for many months," the prime minister added.
Addressing concerns over Israel’s reportedly depleted stock of Arrow missile interceptors, Netanyahu said the US was resupplying them and emphasized that "We’re striking [Iran’s] launchers. It doesn’t matter so much how many rockets they have. What matters is how many launchers they have — and we’re already getting there. I think we’ve already passed the halfway mark of their launchers."
A day earlier, the IDF had said around 40% of launchers were destroyed.
Netanyahu praised Israeli resilience under fire, comparing the home front to British society during the Blitz, the WWII German bombing campaign against Great Britannia.
’MORE TO COME’
Addressing whether Israel is concerned about any "non-conventional" Iranian missiles or weaponry, Netanyahu said the IDF is "systematically" targeting Iran’s full range of weapons systems, including any non-conventional arms.
Netanyahu still would not say whether assassinating Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khameini is on the table. He repeated his stance that regime change lies with the "Iranian people alone," but added, "We’re also striking government targets, symbols of the regime. You’ve seen it — the broadcast station and others. And there’s more to come."
"We are doing everything necessary — and there will still be much more," the premier continued, saying Israel is also targeting the Basij paramilitary militia of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, known for suppressing dissent in Iran.
"We’re also striking the Basij... this kind of internal police force of a million people. We’ve inflicted heavy damage, and we will continue to strike their targets," Netanyahu said.
The Basij consists mostly of volunteers and is used for internal security, regime enforcement, and suppression of dissent. Khamenei deployed the IRGC and the Basij militia to quell national protests in 1999, 2009, and 2022.
Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Wednesday that Israeli Air Force fighter jets "destroyed the headquarters of the Iranian regime’s internal security, the main arm of the Iranian dictator’s oppression," but Iranian media said that ordinary Iranian police, not the Basij, were targeted in the attack.
Asked whether Israel can destroy the underground Fordo facility without assistance from the United States, Netanyahu said, "We will achieve all our objectives and hit all of their nuclear facilities. We have the capability to do that."
Fordo is buried under a mountain and widely considered to be out of reach of all but America’s "bunker-buster" bombs.
Earlier Thursday, an Israeli official told The Times of Israel that Israel expects the US will decide on whether or not to join the offensive against Iran within the next 24-48 hours, though a White House spokesperson later said Trump would decide "within two weeks."
Whether US President Donald Trump ...Never got invited to a P.Diddy party... "wants to join or not — that’s entirely his decision," Netanyahu added.
"He’ll do what’s good for the United States, and I’ll do what’s good for the State of Israel," said Netanyahu, while adding that "as the saying goes — every contribution is welcome."
Pressed by Kan’s Ayala Hasson on Trump’s backing for a strike despite his earlier support for diplomacy, Netanyahu replied, "I’m not going to get into my discussions with the president of the United States."
"I speak with him almost daily — very good conversations," Netanyahu said, adding "there will be a time" to reveal what was said between the leaders, but "let’s not call on the historical archive to release itself just yet."
WITH OR WITHOUT THE US
Netanyahu said the "one thing" he can say is that "the United States recognized our right to defend ourselves from an existential threat," and that unlike Trump’s predecessor Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. Too old and senile to be prosecuted, not too old and senile to set national policy... , the incumbent US president at no point "tried to stop us."
Netanyahu accused Biden of trying to block earlier operations against Iranian proxies: "He imposed an embargo, said: ’Don’t enter Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... , don’t go into Rafah.'" The premier stated that he resisted Biden’s warnings, which Netanyahu said set a precedent for how he’ll act if Israel faces similar pressure during the Iran war.
"I told him, ’Joe, I have no choice. You’re the president of the United States, I’m the prime minister of the Jewish state — we’re going in.’ So first of all, there’s already a precedent: Even if a US president tries to stop us — he won’t," said Netanyahu.
"By the way, this time, he didn’t try to stop us," added the premier in reference to this Trump.
Netanyahu also declared that during internal discussions about the operation over the last six months, other senior Israeli officials fretted over not receiving "a green light from the Americans."
"You know what my answer was? We’re not asking for a green light. Either way, we’re going to do this, because we have no choice. We will not allow 3,500 years of Jewish history to come to an end because of this deranged ayatollah," said Netanyahu, appearing to reference Khamenei.
Netanyahu added that Israel was prepared for the cost of the conflict: "We were told towers will fall in a war with Iran. But any outcome, no matter how difficult, is not the destruction of millions. Not the destruction of Jewish history. That’s why I had no doubt."
"Whatever the outcome is — even the worst-case scenario — we don’t dwell on predictions. Despite...the pain of losing precious civilians, we’re talking here about the possible destruction of millions...of Jewish history, of the people of Israel, God forbid...There was no other option."
Turning to the war in the Gaza Strip, Netanyahu argued that the conflict with Iran helps advance the return of the remaining hostages held by Hamas in the territory.
The "only real thing" preventing an end to the Gaza war is the hostages, according to the premier, who said the operation against the Islamic Theocratic Republic helps secure the captives’ return since "Hamas relies on Iran."
Netanyahu would not provide Hasson with even a rough timeframe for the campaign against Iran, declaring simply that it will be over “by the end of the operation.”

Unconfirmed reports in Iran of the assassination of Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces, successor to Mohammad Hossein Baqeri who was killed in the opening blow of Operation rising lion .
[IsraelTimes] Iranian state media claims that Ali Shamkhani, a top adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, is alive and recovering from serious injuries in a hospital, despite reporting last week that he had been killed in an Israeli strike.
Several news outlets, including the IRGC-controlled Fars News Agency and the semi-official Mehr news agency, carry a statement attributed to Shamkhani. Last week, the same agencies reported that he had been killed in Israel’s initial wave of airstrikes on June 13.
“I am alive and ready to sacrifice myself,” reads the statement attributed to Shamkhani. "I'm not dead yet. I feel haaappy"
The news outlets claim that he is recovering from serious wounds sustained in the Israeli strike and that he is in stable condition.

[Regnum] The Russian Su-24MR fighter caused panic on board a NATO warship by firing heat flares while flying around the vessel. The corresponding footage appeared online on Thursday, June 19. The 'MR' designation means it is a maritime reconnaissance aircraft.
The North Atlantic Alliance ship, which presumably belongs to the US Navy, was in the Baltic Sea at the time of the incident. Suddenly, a Russian military aircraft flew over the ship at low altitude. The footage shows the emotions that the Russian fighter jet caused in English-speaking sailors.
Russian idiots. In these fraught times, they would not enjoy the result if the Americans responded in anger.
According to the Telegram channel "Two Majors", the Russian Aerospace Forces are protecting the fleet, which supplies oil to foreign markets. However, it is not specified when exactly the video was filmed.
[IsraelTimes] Transmission interrupted with footage from 2022 women’s protests against the regime; state broadcaster later warns viewers that ‘Zionist enemy’ is disrupting satellite service
Iranian media said Wednesday that Israel briefly hacked the state television broadcast, airing footage of women’s protests and urging people to take to the streets.
…which does not mean that it was Israel that dunnit…
On its Telegram channel, the Hamshahri daily newspaper shared a video of the brief disruption with a text saying “hackers infiltrated state television and broadcast a call asking people to take to the streets.”
Iran’s state television later warned viewers that this was “due to cyberattacks carried out by the Zionist enemy that is disrupting the satellite transmission.”
Israel’s United Nations spokesperson Jonathan Harounoff also shared a clip of the television disruption.
The clip apparently contained footage from 2022 during mass protests against the government over the death of Mahsa Amini, a woman held by the country’s morality police.
It came as Iran limited internet service, claiming Israel was using the medium for military purposes.
Earlier Wednesday, Israel had hit Iran’s police headquarters in Tehran, as the IDF kept up heavy strikes across the Islamic Republic on the sixth day of fighting between the two countries, and as thousands continued to flee the Iranian capital.
Jets “destroyed the headquarters of the Iranian regime’s internal security, the main arm of the Iranian dictator’s oppression,” Defense Minister Israel Katz said.
And on Monday, Israel bombed Iran’s state broadcaster building in Tehran in the middle of a transmission, sending Sahar Emami, an anchor at the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network, hurrying off-camera as the screen behind her cut out.
Israeli media pundits have noted that some of Israel’s bombing runs in Iran are destroying the state’s symbols of power and its ability to govern, a move that would pave the way for an uprising against the regime.

[ColonelCassad] In the wake of the Iranian-Israeli events, the domestic blogosphere has once again started talking about foreign agents who “suddenly” don’t want to die for their new homeland.
And here I want to ask a question not to them, but to you, dear opinion leaders: how did it happen that now they are such-and-such, but before February 22nd they were quite ok?
Well, that is, I first watched “Radio Day”, where the foreign agent Misha Kozyrev plays himself, when I was still a young student of the journalism department. And even then everything was clear to me.
And a couple of years later I went into journalism and saw a great many such characters. Needless to say, in 2013 none of them let me down?
Who is Misha Kozyrev in absolutely all the TV series and films where he plays himself? A mean, cowardly, petty and absolutely unprincipled eccentric who simultaneously pretends to be terribly inspired and sells his own ass to anyone who is ready to pay.
Many colleagues who defected, by the way, did exactly that: they poured out spirituality, principles and struggle to the girls in the bar, and "denimed" for everyone.
I never heard that word before, but apparently it means wearing blue jeans. What it is meant to imply in this context, I have no idea.
And many decent people preferred to close their eyes to this, since it was the same party.
Yes, there are such interesting types, concentrated, as a rule, in more or less creative spheres. Yes, they are always visible in advance. Yes, they will sell you, and mom, and the Motherland, and then find a thousand and one excuses for this.
It is useless to pressure them with arguments and facts, since in the end you will inevitably hear "yes, that's the kind of shit I am."
So don't waste your time. You blinked once, and now just forget it.

It's amazing what a few well funded sellout Race Pimp Black Reverends accomplished for the Democrats.

Black or white doesn't make much difference. We all, as a society, suffer very badly from collective amnesia. Far too many people, black and white, only remember what they've seen on TV in the last 24-hour news cycle.

[ColonelCassad] As we can see, this material from five years ago has almost completely come true. Iran's strikes on Israel are now fully consistent with its missile doctrine, which took into account, among other things, the disorganization of the country's top leadership. Despite the damage suffered from attacks and sabotage, Iran retains the ability to inflict costly targeted damage, as it planned 5 years before the war. Today's strikes on the center of Tel Aviv have become quite indicative.
INTERPRETATION OF IRAN'S MISSILE DOCTRINE
Non-nuclear weapon states may have the highest conventional military capabilities, but this is always considered insufficient when it comes to nuclear war.
This intuitive view is based on two main ideas:
There is no reliable defense against nuclear weapons
Conventional weapons cannot provide a significant counter-response to the use of nuclear weapons.
Iran’s 21st century missile warfare doctrine relies on three main capabilities:
Ballistic missiles precise enough to deliver pinpoint strikes (~50 m) against key enemy assets. These could be critical targets such as power plants and other critical infrastructure, or military targets such as missile silos or missile defense early warning radars.
The launch and deployment options for ballistic missiles are designed to survive the decapitation of the military-political leadership by an adversary's nuclear attack and to accomplish the mission of inflicting serious damage on the adversary.
The damage to the adversary is inflicted at a high enough rate that any counter-campaign aimed at neutralizing Iran's missile forces will be ineffective. Once this capability can be neutralized, it has already exhausted its ballistic missile arsenal and can no longer participate in the conflict.
Once this capability is achieved, the adversary's nuclear option is neutralized by two facts:
A nuclear preemptive strike will not deprive Iran of the ability to counterattack, and what survives is sufficient to inflict damage on a scale that the adversary cannot afford.
The scale of damage, due to the ability to strike critical and high-value targets at a pinpoint level, reaches a level high enough to be comparable to what was previously possible only with nuclear weapons or, at least, with complete air superiority.
THE BASIS OF SURVIVABILITY.
In August 2020, Iran revealed a new method of basing solid-fuel ballistic missiles in underground launchers. This concept is based on the ambiguity of true and false sites, as well as the large spaces that can be exploited at so-called “missile farms.”
For a nuclear preemptive strike to neutralize these weakly defended sites, it would be necessary to strike large areas, which would increase the number of nuclear weapons needed.
Other solid-fuel ballistic missiles in Iran’s arsenal include:
Autonomous vehicles that can launch a missile quickly upon receiving an order (e.g., Sejil).
Or off-road launcher-transporters that can hide in the terrain (e.g., Dezful).
Iran’s mountainous terrain is particularly well suited to the latter of the two launch methods. Deep valleys eliminate line-of-sight for the standoff reconnaissance assets that would need it, and also provide some protection against conventional and nuclear weapons.
Another means Iran uses to improve the survivability of its missile systems is to design them small enough to disguise them as civilian trucks, for example by using plastic containers.
LIQUID-FUELED MISSILES ARE A MORE COMPLEX MATTER.
Iran prefers to retain and even expand its liquid-fueled ballistic missiles despite the availability of solid-fueled missiles for three main reasons:
The superior performance of liquid-fueled intermediate-range ballistic missiles allows for heavier payloads and longer ranges in the same size.
They can be safely stored without the risk of explosion or catastrophic cascade, making them attractive for deep tunnel construction. This is primarily due to the physical separation of the fuel and oxidizer tanks and the warheads.
When stored dry and without fuel, their service life without significant maintenance is enormous. Thus, the investment in the arsenal is designed to last for several generations, and the life cycle costs make such conventional liquid-fueled ballistic missiles attractive.
However, the problems that liquid-fueled missiles pose are also significant: A well-trained crew is needed to fuel and handle the missile.
Iran’s new generation of missiles use fuel and oxidizer combinations that cannot be used at the high temperatures typical of Iran.
So while the solid-fueled Sejil-2 can travel hundreds of kilometers disguised as a civilian truck and hide anywhere, a similar liquid-fueled missile cannot operate very far from its base.
MISSILE CITIES
The concept of storing a valuable arsenal of ballistic missiles in deep tunnel complexes is not new, with China, North Korea and Iran being the countries that have made the most extensive use of this basing concept. Iran calls such complexes “missile cities” due to their scale.
These bases are often buried so deeply in the mountains that their arsenal is protected from nuclear strikes. However, nuclear strikes on the entrances to such bases could potentially disable them for the remainder of a high-intensity conflict or reduce their value because they cannot operate their missiles until the damage is repaired.
In conventional attacks on such missile tunnel complexes, excavators and other construction equipment either reopen the entrance within a short period of time or create alternative emergency exits if necessary.
High-quality tunnel linings made of high-performance composite concrete are also used at the entrance sites.
The damage caused by conventional bunker buster bombs to such entrance structures is less than often intuitively assumed. This is true for both bunker buster bombs that can be delivered by manned aircraft and for special means such as the GBU-57.
Thus, while tens of meters of soft rock can be penetrated by such weapons, including several concrete slabs, penetration values drop sharply to a few meters or less when dealing with hard granite rock formations and/or high-performance composite concrete.
The impact of such conventional weapons on critical targets inside the tunnel complexes is virtually non-existent due to the overlying rock thickness, typically 50-100 m for the least fortified of them.
Therefore, reliable capability for rapid repair and continuous operation is guaranteed against conventional bunker buster bombs.
Here it is necessary to emphasize the criticality of the operation of such missile-tunnel systems. Since their sole purpose is to launch the entire arsenal of stored ballistic missiles, for an opponent who has aviation as the only platform for delivering bunker buster bombs, a dilemma arises: in order to deliver a bunker buster, it is necessary to suppress the enemy's integrated air defense system and ensure that it is degraded to a sufficient extent to enable successful delivery of the weapon to the target.
The range of Iran's ballistic missiles allows for the placement of missile cities deep in the central regions of Iran, which is a huge country.
The distance that aviation must survive, flying through enemy airspace without a single damage or destruction, is hundreds of kilometers. Evasive maneuvering with such a heavy payload is often equated to mission failure.
The time-critical nature of ballistic missile warfare does not allow for a sustained SEAD/DEAD campaign to disable an enemy’s integrated air defenses.
Iran’s integrated air defenses and their capabilities have reached a technological level that can effectively counter low observable techniques that are primarily used by Western air forces against high-value targets.
Iran's objective would be to defend a point target (missile city) which is much easier to defend than a random area target. Subsonic cruise missile delivered warheads would suffer most in such a scenario against a point/node defense system.
COUNTERING MISSILE CITIES
The solution to the problem posed by such a missile city would be nuclear warheads delivered by precision ballistic missiles. In the future, this could be hypersonic bunker busting conventional missiles or low yield ground penetrating ballistic missiles.
Granite rock formations can withstand a 300 kt contact blast delivered by thermonuclear ballistic missile warheads (~100 m) if the depth/overburden is
~300 m if anchor bolts and mesh lined tunnels are used. This is typical for very deep missile storage areas and low risk transit tunnel sections that can withstand damage.
100m using high grade concrete lining. This is typical for critical areas with sensitive equipment and personnel.
030-50m using high strength concrete structures for entry areas. Such transit sections can withstand damage and spalling/debris and simply need to remain passable.
Entry areas, which almost always have less granite overburden than the 30-50m mentioned, can be heavily damaged due to the risk of total tunnel collapse. It takes a significant amount of time to free and clear such entry sections for continued launch operations. Multiple hits over a long period of time can completely disable a missile city for the duration of the war. Thus, although the missile arsenal cannot be destroyed by enemy nuclear weapons systems, effective actions against such missile tunnel complexes are possible in the event of a conflict.
NUCLEAR-RESISTANT MISSILE CITIES
Missile cities that can withstand nuclear strikes and continue launch operations are of the cave silo type.
This concept does not require an entry zone or opening large enough for the launchers to operate, and instead launches missiles from inside a mountain through a vertical shaft that can be several tens of meters long.
As long as the shaft remains clear, launch operations can continue, and the nature of this concept allows it to survive multiple hits from precision (e.g. Trident II) nuclear weapons and remain operational.
Since Iran lacks a nuclear triad and expensive delivery platforms like SSBNs, it can focus its resources on developing a complex and expensive basing method like cavern basing.
During the basing study for the US MX Peacekeeper ICBM, cavern basing was rated as the most successful basing concept in terms of robustness, but also one of the most expensive.
Only Iran and possibly North Korea are known to use the cavern launch concept.
However, the rock formations of such Iranian systems are likely not suitable for multiple nuclear hits due to the relatively shallow barrel depth.
The examples of such systems shown so far have been firing one missile at a time, which does not meet the timing parameter that is most important in a high-intensity missile war.
In early November 2020, Iran unveiled a new concept for launching and loading ballistic missiles. A high mobility electric railcar carrying 5 ready-to-launch liquid-fueled missiles loaded into a semi-automated erector system. It is best described as a multi-launch carousel magazine loading and launch system that allows for continuous parallel loading operations.
The IRGC Aerospace Force has not revealed how or where the missiles are launched.
The launch method could be a combination of the previously disclosed cavern launch concept, potentially a vertical shaft more than 100 meters deep.
However, it appears Iran has opted for a more down-to-earth, far less complex and resource-intensive concept that maintains the nuclear resilience requirements of the facility.
The concept is based on the following features:
The cavern is deep enough to be unaffected by the force of the blast, overpressure, and radiant heat.
Small enough to pose a very low risk of a direct hit from a nuclear bomb into the cavern.
Deep enough to require a steep-angle-of-attack weapon trajectory to hit the critical lower portion of the cavern where the rails and tunnel door are located.
Situated deep in a valley to complicate the weapon's trajectory and use natural barriers to deflect the blast.
The launch silo is bored into solid granite rock, reinforced and lined with high-performance concrete structures. Such relatively small structures can be well protected from nuclear weapons, just as ICBM silos are designed to remain intact from a close-in thermonuclear warhead (~300 m).
Unlike a standard ICBM silo, the Iranian silo does not contain sensitive equipment and serves no function other than to facilitate the delivery of a missile through a special door and subsequent launch. Consequently, it is not only more resistant to damage, but can also be repaired by improvised engineering means if necessary.
The purpose of this type of silo is to contain the erosion caused by a nuclear blast to a level low enough to leave the door and launch pad intact. The surface explosion, the primary mechanism for destroying hardened nuclear weapons, must remain within the limits of the yield to prevent the last 10–30 m of the missile transit tunnel from being irreparably damaged. Vibration levels in this section of the tunnel can be neglected, since a simple door collapse and malfunction must be avoided.
Multi-megaton nuclear warheads have a more adverse effect but are not used for counter strikes, mainly because they are either fewer in number or heavier. Earth-penetrating nuclear bunker busters are primarily used for air delivery, as a ballistic missile strike is considered less effective.
NEWLY OPENED COMPLEX
In addition to this new basing and launch concept, the tunnel complex also has conventional silos as a secondary launch option. The huge complex has deep missile storage bays with anchor bolts and mesh lining, polymer-lined compartments where sensitive equipment is protected and ground impacts can cause only minor damage. Warhead mating and missile loading areas, where warheads pose a concentrated risk of catastrophic cascade effects, must be separated from the rest of the complex.
Transit tunnel sections where damage and spalling are acceptable, and anchor bolts and mesh are used.
Critical areas and low cover entry areas where high quality lining is used.
In addition to these details, to estimate the overall firepower it would be necessary to know how many loading bays, how many carrier cars, and how many launch silos there are.
If it is a large complex, as is assumed, hundreds of different ballistic missiles could be stored, which would be done in the deepest bays. These inexpensive anchor and mesh lined sections have a granite cap of 300-600 m and are therefore considered impervious to nuclear attack.
Liquid fuel missile types that are likely present and compatible with minor modifications include:
SRBM Qiam with a range of 800 km with precision strike, MaRV, and warheads with submunitions. Primarily for use against air bases of neighboring countries to destroy specific sites or to ensure the impossibility of operations due to accidental interval strikes with submunitions of warheads that require removal due to the risk of unexploded ordnance and accidental placement.
SRBM Emad with a range of 1,700 km with a precision warhead MaRV for key military and high-value sites of a regional adversary.
Heavy SRBM Khorramshahr with additional ammunition and MaRV warheads With a payload that is approximately 3 times higher than the Emad and Ghadr-H missiles, this new ballistic missile with a heavy warhead(s) will be available in greater numbers. In terms of cost and benefits, one Khorramshahr with a 1.8-ton submunition warhead causes the same damage as three Gadr-H, which is a significant advantage. The range is up to 2,000 km.
In terms of firepower generation, depending on how many parallel loading sites are available in the complex to load the unmanned automatic wagon magazine, the value can vary greatly. Since the location of this static system is known and modern missiles do not require a turntable for azimuth alignment, loading is relatively fast.
Compared to Iran's tactical solid-fuel missiles, the liquid-fueled missile arsenal is launched at predetermined targets, so if the conflict is very intense, these missiles will be launched as quickly as possible.
CONCLUSION
In the past, Iran sought protection from nuclear explosions with its concept of basing liquid-fueled missiles in a vertical silo in a cavern.
The new concept of launching and loading five missiles can also be applied to this concept, but it is expensive and requires a very mature missile system with the highest reliability.
It is expected that in combination with the concept of a separate silo launch pad, a sufficient degree of protection against a nuclear explosion will be achieved.
This allows the existing missile cities to be retrofitted with this capability at an affordable cost and within a reasonable time frame.
This and other various cladding methods show that the IRGC Aerospace Force is very confident that this is necessary to achieve a specific goal with high cost effectiveness.
The dynamics of the development of this basing method are very different from those of other countries:
Iran is not a nuclear power; it requires a huge amount of precision firepower to make a difference in a conflict and ultimately deter an adversary from a first nuclear strike. In this case, silos with single missiles do not make sense, since hundreds to thousands of ballistic missiles are required in each theater. The absence of nuclear weapons, as well as various basing concepts for them, with the highest potential and most expensive option - SSBNs - allows resources to be concentrated on conventional missile forces.
Iran has the necessary sparsely populated areas, as well as high mountain topology and suitable rock formations to use such a basing method. This concept brings Iran closer to achieving a capability that no other country has: deterring nuclear powers from a preemptive preventive conventional nuclear strike. Iran is limited to a missile range of about 2,000 km. Previously, this range was the maximum that could be achieved with a relatively cost-effective single-stage missile.
As Iran's missile program rapidly improves in technology, a liquid-fueled, two-stage ICBM with direct deterrence and continental US strike capability may become a reality at some point, and the missile basing method shown is probably already quite good in its current state.

[REGNUM] In response to the Israeli attacks on Iran on June 13, the Islamic world demonstrated a rare degree of diplomatic consolidation.
Verbally, anyway. Mustaches were cursed, shoes thrown en masse. Beyond that, they haven’t stopped Israel from flying through their airspace on the way to flattening hundreds more key buildings somewhere in Iran.
This was expressed in a joint statement by twenty countries, led by Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, the UAE and Pakistan. But behind the rare unity in condemning Israel lies a complex mosaic of positions reflecting deep regional contradictions.
The collective document qualified Israel's actions as a gross violation of Iran's sovereignty and international law, especially given the targeted strikes on nuclear facilities under IAEA safeguards.
The signatories unanimously warned that such actions create an extremely dangerous precedent, threaten the stability of the entire Middle East and jeopardize the safety of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, which is critical to the global economy and through which a third of global oil supplies pass.
GULF STATES UNDER THREAT
The current conflict is of particular concern to the Gulf states, which are watching with growing alarm the prospect of further escalation and expansion of the confrontation between Israel and Iran.
In recent days, the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have made their position very clear: they categorically do not want to be drawn into a large-scale armed conflict that they did not provoke and do not seek.
This position is not dictated by abstract concerns.
The presence of major US military bases and vital strategic infrastructure, including oil terminals, ports and logistics hubs on their territory, makes the Gulf states potential targets if the Donald Trump administration joins Israel's actions.
The leaders of the Arab monarchies understand that escalation could spread quickly to their own cities, jeopardizing not only the safety of their populations, but also the very foundations of their economies, which are deeply integrated into global energy supply chains.
Against this backdrop, discontent is growing in Arab capitals with Trump’s approach to current events, his de facto support for Israeli aggression, and even plans to join it. For the GCC states, this essentially means the US abandoning its own promises to prevent regional escalation – assurances Trump gave to Arab leaders during his May visit to the Gulf states.
Now, Israel's actions and the US administration's failure to contain Netanyahu do not guarantee the GCC countries' security even if they maintain consistent neutrality.
Israeli air force attacks on Iranian nuclear infrastructure raise concerns about potential expansion of strike targets. The Gulf littoral states' main nightmare is a strike on Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant.
The location of this facility just three hundred kilometers from the coast of Arabia makes the scenario of radioactive contamination catastrophically real. A release of radiation into the Persian Gulf would have immediate and long-term devastating consequences.
Radioactive contamination will inevitably affect the desalination plants from which the Gulf countries receive the bulk of their drinking water, creating a direct threat to the livelihoods of millions of people.
Water contamination will destroy fish stocks and cause irreparable damage to aquaculture, undermining an important economic sector and food security. The consequences for the unique marine ecosystem of the Persian Gulf will be irreversible.
In light of these risks, the message from the Gulf monarchies is extremely pragmatic and urgent.
They call for the need to contain the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Iran at all costs and to protect the critical energy flows from the Persian Gulf, the stability of which is vital for the global economy. It is fundamentally important for them to prevent the involvement of other regional players in the conflict, but above all the United States, which would inevitably turn a local confrontation into a regional and even global conflagration.
Whether Washington and Tel Aviv respond to this call will be the decisive factor in determining the region's prospects.
At stake is a test of the fundamental strategy that monarchies have pursued in recent years - hedging, balancing between global powers, economic diversification and attempts to reduce dependence on oil.
Will these carefully constructed buffers and alternatives be able to withstand the onslaught of a full-scale regional war, or will the entire strategic project collapse in the chaos of a large-scale conflict, setting the region back decades?
The answer depends largely on the ability of the international community to hear and respond to the alarm bells coming from the Gulf. But it is clear that grandiose transformation programs like Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 are now under renewed threat.
In fact, Saudi Arabia was forced to make peace with the Houthis precisely because of the stalled implementation of this program, which requires “greenhouse conditions,” and any security challenges put it at risk.
Now, however, a new war, started without any participation from Riyadh, is proving even more destructive for the country's modernization projects.
It is obvious that if the US is drawn into the conflict, Iran's missile salvoes against US bases in the Gulf countries will set their programs back many years, and they will lose their investment appeal for many years. And it is not worth thinking that all Iranian missiles will end up in Israel.
The Islamic Republic has only used medium-range missiles that can reach the Jewish state for retaliatory strikes, while its vast stockpiles of tactical missiles have not been used. But they could be used if Trump decides to join Netanyahu.
Thus, the consequences of the June 13 attacks create serious systemic risks for the region, and possible US intervention will push Tehran to an asymmetric response that could also destabilize Lebanon and Iraq, where Iranian influence remains.
Even if Washington does not join the Israeli attacks, the US passivity in containing Israel and Donald Trump's indirect support for it are damaging American plans for the Gulf Arab monarchies, forcing them to continue to distance themselves from the Abraham Accords.
The economic threat is existential for them: a potential closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran would paralyze the oil exports of the Gulf countries, whose budgets are critically dependent on energy revenues.
The deaths of prominent nuclear scientists such as Abdolhamid Minouchehr can only accelerate Iran's development of nuclear weapons in underground complexes like Fordo, creating a new source of global instability and forcing Arab countries to rethink their security strategies.
CONFLICTING CONVICTIONS
Türkiye has seemingly taken the most radical position, openly calling for sanctions against Israel and essentially supporting Iran's military response as a right to self-defense.
“Iran’s right to defend itself against banditry and state terrorism from Israel is completely natural, legitimate and legally justified,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a meeting of the parliamentary faction of the ruling Justice and Development Party.
At the same time, the territory of the Turkish Republic can still be used by US and NATO aircraft to collect intelligence information in the interests of Israel.
In turn, the State of Qatar insists on an immediate international investigation into Israel's actions under the auspices of the UN, expressing direct solidarity with the victims of the attacks in Iran.
Saudi Arabia, despite its historic rivalry with Tehran, has suddenly issued a strong condemnation, using the rhetoric of the “Muslim Brotherhood” and criticizing the West’s “double standards,” in a desperate attempt to prevent a chain escalation that could derail the kingdom’s economic diversification plans.
Pakistan also supported this line, calling Israel's actions aggression, a challenge to all Muslims and demanding collective measures of defense.
"Israel has set its sights on Yemen, Iran and Palestine. If the Islamic world does not unite now, we will all face the same fate," Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said. And Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke by phone with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and assured him of unwavering support.
In contrast, the UAE and Egypt have shown noticeable restraint.
Abu Dhabi has called for dialogue to “prevent the conflict from widening,” while Cairo has offered to act as a mediator to resume talks on the nuclear deal, indirectly acknowledging ongoing concerns about Iran’s nuclear program.
Indonesia and Morocco have joined the OIC's general rhetoric but avoided making specific commitments, demonstrating caution in the face of geopolitical turbulence.
Oman, which traditionally acts as a regional peacemaker, took a special position.
Sultan Haitham bin Tarek Al Said called on both sides in a telephone conversation with Pezeshkian to exercise "maximum restraint and immediately return to the negotiation process," warning of the catastrophic humanitarian and economic consequences of an escalation for the entire region.
He reiterated Muscat's readiness to open its diplomatic channels for de-escalation, recalling Oman's historic role in mediating between Iran and the US, including talks disrupted by the June 15 attacks.
However, the Grand Mufti of Oman, Ahmad al-Khalili, took a tougher stance: “We were stunned and shocked by the aggression of the Zionist entity against Iran. Despite this, we believe and are confident that Allah Almighty will defeat them [Israel] and will do so through the hands of the Iranian armed forces – something that the souls of believers aspire to.”
And in the next message, Al-Khalili said: “The Iranian response to the Zionist aggression was firm and decisive, calming hearts after it achieved results. It opened the door to hope that the hated Zionist occupation of the Holy Lands will end irrevocably, if God allows.”
SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCES
At the same time, deep fault lines within Islamic solidarity became apparent in the first hours after the attacks.
Not a single country, including Israel's most vocal critics – Turkey, Qatar and Pakistan – has offered Iran real military support, limiting itself to rhetoric and diplomatic demarches.
Despite the fact that there are American military facilities on the territory of these countries that could be used against Iran, and may already be used for intelligence purposes.
Significant differences also emerged in the interpretation of the nuclear issue.
While Saudi Arabia and Egypt have been insistent on the need to control Iran's nuclear program, Pakistan and Qatar have deliberately ignored the issue, focusing exclusively on "Israeli aggression."
The neutrality of Algeria, Morocco and Malaysia, which abstained from signing the joint statement, once again confirmed the caution of many Muslim countries, who are not ready to sacrifice relations with the West for the sake of demonstrating unity.
It is significant that Algeria, previously Israel's most consistent opponent and Iran's close Arab partner, expressed its position only after the country's Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf took a phone call from Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
"Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf reiterated Algeria's unwavering position, which, while condemning Israel's aggression, stresses the need for the UN Security Council to assume responsibility for ensuring compliance with international law and the principles of the UN Charter in order to stop Israeli attacks," the official statement said.
Thus, the Islamic world's reaction to the Israeli-Iranian standoff reflects the paradox of tactical unity amid strategic fault lines.
Condemnation of Israel, based on principles of sovereignty and fear of a regional conflagration, has allowed for temporary consolidation. However, unresolved contradictions – from the age-old Sunni-Shiite rivalry to fundamentally different approaches to relations with the US and assessment of the Iranian nuclear threat – block the transition to real collective action.
Oman's position, balancing between solidarity with Iran and pragmatic mediation, serves as a clear illustration of this duality.
The June 13 attacks have fueled anti-Israel rhetoric, but they have not addressed the underlying conflicts that make the “Muslim consensus” extremely fragile.
However, further escalation could reformat the entire system of regional alliances, pushing even moderate regimes into confrontation with Israel and its allies, which threatens the Middle East with destabilization on an unprecedented scale.

In the Kramatorsk direction, two armed clashes occurred in the area of Chasovy Yar and in the direction of Stupochki.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy tried to break through near Petrovka, Aleksandro-Kalinovye, Yablunovka, Rusiny Yar and towards Dilievka, Belaya Gora and Predtechny. The defense forces repelled 10 enemy assaults, and five more clashes are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russians carried out 28 assaults in the areas of the settlements of Poltavka, Mirnoye, Mirolyubovka, Koptevo, Promen, Lisovka, Novosergeevka and Gorekhovoe. The fighting continues.
In the Novopavlovskoye direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy assaults. The enemy is trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Zaporizhzhya, Perebudova, Novosyolka and Shevchenko. Three more clashes are still ongoing.
Let us recall that in the course of 24 hours on June 18, Russia lost more than 1,000 fighters killed and wounded. The total number of Russian losses exceeded 1 million people.
To be fair, the Mad Mullahs who rule Iran have taken Israeli suffering into account only in terms of pondering how to increase it, while the people of Iran’s opinion does not matter at all. And the people’s only hope of overthrowing the Mullahcracy is if Israel completes defanging them. So how meaningful is the CDN graph?
[NewJerseyGlobe] The International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825 has endorsed Jack Ciattarelli for governor of New Jersey, giving the Republican nominee the support of one of the state's most politically potent labor unions.
In politics there are no friends, only interests?
The 8,000-member union can provide Ciattarelli with boots on the ground during his campaign, and the potential to spend a significant amount of money through independent expenditures to help him win.
"New Jersey is at a crossroads. We face an energy crisis, an affordability crisis, and a crisis of common sense. The solutions are basic but may not be politically popular," said the union's business manager, Greg Lalevee. "We need a Governor who will tackle our challenges and not cave to the fringe political voices. Jack Ciattarelli understands New Jersey and what needs to be done to fix our great state."
Four years ago, Local 825 endorsed Democrat Phil Murphy for re-election against Ciattarelli, who came within three percentage points of winning.

[Regnum] Ukraine, which is losing in the special operation zone, has decided to open a second front in African countries friendly to Russia. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
"Ukraine is retreating under the pressure of the Russian Armed Forces. They have apparently decided to open a second front in Africa, stimulating terrorist activity there, in African states that are friendly to us," Zakharova noted.
The diplomat specified that last week Malian and Burkina Faso news portals, citing official sources, stated the involvement of Ukrainian intelligence in assisting the terrorist group Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (GSIM), which has ties to Al-Qaeda (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation). On May 30, this group carried out an attack on positions of the Malian Armed Forces in the Koulikoro region.
Zakharova called GSIM's support in Africa another demonstration of the terrorist nature of the Kiev regime. The MFA representative also added that Kiev's ties with African terrorists had been confirmed earlier, including by the press secretary of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Andrey Yusov and the country's ambassador to Senegal Yuriy Pivovarov.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, in early August 2024, Pivovarov published a video supporting Malian terrorists, after which he was summoned to the Senegalese Foreign Ministry, and the authorities of Mali and Niger broke off diplomatic relations with Ukraine. At that time, Zakharova stated that the decision of African countries to break off diplomatic relations with Ukraine indicates a growing understanding by African countries of the terrorist nature of the Kiev regime.
In November 2024, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that Russia would combat Ukrainian support for terrorists in Africa. According to Georgy Mikhno, Acting Director of the Department for New Challenges and Threats at the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Kiev regime actively and openly supports terrorist groups on the continent.

NOTE: Below is a practical analysis about how to defend against fiber optic drones. I won’t bury the lede. Defense against any and all small-cheap-drone is based on first seeing/sensing it. It’s all about the sensors. There is no new tech here. We have everything we need to sense a drone in enough time to shoot it down. As with everything, is it scalable? Yes. I think so. Is there something on the market now? No, but many systems are being tested. There are many systems for shooting down cruise missiles and Shaheds. But nothing yet that is modular for good point and convoy defense vs small-cheap-drones. Why don't we already have this on the battlefield? EW has, until now, worked very well. Fiber drones changed this.
On today’s battlefields, fiber-optic guided drones present one of the most difficult detection challenges faced by defenders. These drones don’t emit radio-frequency signals, making them invisible to standard electronic warfare systems that rely on RF detection and jamming. Controlled via an ultra-thin tethered cable, they fly low, use terrain for cover, and exploit gaps in conventional sensor systems. Both Ukraine and Russia have deployed these “unjammable” drones for reconnaissance and precision strikes.
Detecting fiber-optic drones requires a layered approach. No single sensor can cover all the weaknesses these drones exploit. The solution lies in combining acoustic, radar, and optical sensors into a single fusion system. Each sensor type has its strengths and weaknesses, but together they can compensate for each other and create a viable detection umbrella.
Iranians Chant for Shah’s Return As Terrorist Regime Collapses
[PJMedia] In Tehran, Iranians are reportedly chanting enthusiastically about the anticipated fall of the “Islamic Republic” regime and the potential return of the Crown Prince, heir to the ancient throne of Persia.
While it is unclear exactly the extent of the damage Israel has inflicted on Iran and whether or not the current genocidal regime will fall because of it, Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi confirmed that Iranian soldiers and officials have reached out to him, and he urged the Iranian people to rise up, announcing he already has a plan for renewing Iran should he come to power again.
Clips are circulating online of Iranians chanting a slogan that has been translated: “This is the final battle — Pahlavi will return!” In recent years, many tens of thousands of Iranians took to the streets to protest the Islamic regime, with thousands of them arrested, raped, tortured, or killed. The protesters (especially the women) who survived are no doubt hoping for the current regime to collapse. Iranian dissidents have been among the strongest supporters of Israel in the current conflict.
In his message, Pahlavi condemned the violence, cowardice, and destructiveness of Ayatollah Khamenei and co., and confidently predicted that the collapse of the regime there is irreversible. “We are prepared for the first hundred days after the fall, for the transitional period, and for the establishment of a national and democratic government — by the Iranian people and for the Iranian people,” he vowed. Pahlavi is an advocate for a Westernized, secularized government in Iran.
The return of Pahlavi could benefit Jews as well, and not only because the current dictatorial and collapsing regime is dedicated to wiping out Israel. A popular X account called “The Persian Jewess” reminisced about the days of the monarchy, “Since the rise of Islam in Iran, Iranian Jews were oppressed, shoved in ghettos, raped, tortured, murdered forced to convert, and treated like second-class citizens. Then in 1925 the Pahlavis came to power and instituted reforms that recognized Iranian Jews as equal citizens for the first time in millennia. For 54 glorious years, we flourished.”
She added, “When Khomeini came to power, we were forced to flee, our hearts mourning all that Iran once was and could have been under the Pahlavis. And in the 46 years since, we have not forgotten the family who broke us free from our chains, and ended our oppression.”
And whoever is the Great White Father in Washington is better to zip his yap re "human rights violations"
Posted by: Grom the Affective 2025-06-20 09:57
AFAIK, Mr. Pahlavi seems to be a reasonable guy, and God knows he's an improvement on anybody over there right now, but remember what was said about the Bourbons when they took back the French throne after Napoleon:
"They remember nothing; they have forgotten nothing."
Put another way: restored regimes and dynasties have a habit of settling scores and then going right back to the bad behaviors that got them thrown out in the first place.

[REGNUM] This is the third case of public abuse of a Russian passport in St. Petersburg since the beginning of the year. This time, it was burned by trash blogger Alexandra. She waved the burning document and called on the police to come get her as soon as possible.
The police complied with the request and arrived the same day. This surprised Alexandra quite a bit, as did the news that she could face real criminal punishment.
BURNED MY PASSPORT AND CLEARED OUT MY ACCOUNT
Now Alexandra's Telegram account is empty - she deleted all posts pending trial. But before that moment, there was a raging discussion: what were the blogger's motives? Did she understand what this would lead to? And does she understand it now? Opinions are divided on social media: some believe that the girl was simply "catching the hype" and increasing her popularity, others think that she did it on purpose - for ideological reasons.
- This is my passport, and I'm going to fucking burn it right now. Here it is. That's it, come on, ***, come get me! Come get me, ***! I hope you come get me before the *** moment when I have to go to work. Because I *** have to work, ***! Ha-ha!
According to some reports, Alexandra works in a strip club, but her main income comes from donations during streams. In the video, you can hear a young man urging her to be careful, but then he brings a blue plastic bucket, into which the girl throws a burning passport. They pour beer from a bottle over it.
Later, she would say that she wanted to "wipe her ass with her passport," but it had already burned. But everything is preserved on the Internet: users posted a screenshot of the original message, which will also be included in the case.
Irina Volk, a representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, wrote on her Telegram channel: "My colleagues from St. Petersburg have opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation against a girl who deliberately set fire to her passport, as well as her friend. Both defendants have been detained under Article 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. A preliminary investigation is underway."
Alexandra's most pragmatic followers are interested in how she plans to travel somewhere without a passport, fill out documents, and get a new job?
However, the illusory idea that when a document is destroyed, all obligations associated with it are immediately terminated is not new at all.
FIRST THEY DO, THEN THEY CRY
In Soviet times, few people dared to publicly burn and tear up important documents – passports and party cards.
Stalin's daughter Svetlana Alliluyeva fled to the United States in 1967. She wrote to a friend that she "burned her Soviet passport so that no one would think that she could go back.”
The first Soviet NHL player, Viktor Nechayev, burned his passport in 1980, which contained a fictitious marriage to an Israeli woman, so that he could be issued a new, “clean” one. He used it for another marriage, this time to an American, in order to emigrate to the United States.
"Conceptual artists", having left the USSR, sometimes made art objects out of passports and party cards, emigrants could tear up passports in front of reporters, symbolically saying goodbye to the Soviet past. But all these were individual cases, as a rule, with a political subtext.
At the turn of the eighties and nineties, a completely opportunistic gesture became the public destruction of - no, not a passport (without it things would have been hard), but a party card - the catalyst for many Soviet careers.
In 1990, Lenkom director Mark Zakharov burned his party card live on the Vzglyad program (by that time he had already been a member of the CPSU for seventeen years). Much later, he would say: “After many years, I am ready to honestly admit that it was a stupid, spontaneous act that I bitterly regret. The act of burning the little red book was an unbridled and completely unnecessary theatricality. It was necessary to part with the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in a completely different way – calmly and with dignity.”
Now there is a category of citizens who are publicly "cutting ties" with Russia - members of the informal public movement "Citizens of the USSR" (in 2022 it was recognized as an extremist organization). They apply for symbolic passports on old-style forms and categorically do not recognize Russia as a state, considering it a "commercial organization." Before destroying their Russian passport, "citizens of the USSR" apply for loans and mortgages in it. Of course, this does not end well, but until the bailiffs come, there is a place to warm up.
The destruction of passports became a political performance in 2022, when non-warriors and deviationists of all stripes, the liberal creative community and ideological “opponents of the regime” began to demonstratively leave Russia - absolutely convinced that a calm, well-fed and serene life was opening up ahead, in which there was no place for a Russian passport and Russia.
But everything turned out differently.
Singer Eduard Sharlot, who destroyed his Russian passport and nailed a photo of Patriarch Kirill to a tree, was found guilty of rehabilitating Nazism and insulting the feelings of believers. He was sentenced to 5.5 years in a penal colony, although the Patriarch himself (through Bishop Kinelsky) asked not to apply the punishment.
And the singer feigned remorse and said that he loved his country and was ready to support it. Before repenting, he managed to escape from Russia, "swear allegiance" to Ukraine, realize that his small talent was not in such demand abroad, and return from Yerevan to Moscow.
In St. Petersburg, on Border Guard Day, a girl named Alena (also a webcam girl, like Alexandra) urinated on a passport at the Ploshchad Aleksandra Nevskogo metro station, and her friend filmed everything on camera. Both are now in pretrial detention until July.
A little earlier, in early May, in Primorsky District, two bloggers burned a passport and posted a video on the Internet. They have not yet been identified.
In addition to vulgar hype, there is another motive: preparation for emigration. It is better to go to a new homeland with symbolic capital - the status of "martyred for one's beliefs." Two years ago, Tehran Dzhamalov, a resident of Tomsk, also burned his passport: putting a Koran next to it, he said that he had lived in Russia for 25 years and "became convinced that a passport and this book are incompatible, one must choose one of the two." After which he doused the document with flammable liquid and set it on fire.
That same day, he became the hero of online videos once again — when he apologized, having difficulty pronouncing the words “committed a thoughtless act.” His mother also shed tears in the video, realizing the danger of desecrating state symbols.
And in August 2024, the famous freak blogger Alexander Shpak published a video in which he demonstratively burns a Russian passport and, mixing up the words, tries to sing the Ukrainian anthem.
What are the risks of such “performances”?
Russia is not alone in its desire to defend the honor of state symbols. In Israel, for example, the fine for damaging the flag is 60 thousand shekels (1.3 million rubles), plus a prison term of up to three years. In Spain, it is four years in prison, in Kazakhstan, up to a year and a large fine. Ireland, Turkey, Germany, Estonia, Mexico, Moldova — each country defends its symbols as best it can.
The legislation in Russia is quite soft and humane. Punishment for mockery of a passport varies - charges can be brought under different articles of the Criminal Code or the Code of Administrative Offences.
Tehran Dzhamalov, for example, got off with an administrative fine of 10 thousand rubles - he was tried under Article 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation ("Incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity").
However, Aleksandr Shpak was sentenced in absentia to eight years under Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the RF Armed Forces for reasons of political hatred”).
We will soon find out what punishment awaits Alexandra and Alena.

[Regnum] Washington's intervention in the conflict between Tel Aviv and Tehran will strengthen extremists inside Iran and "open Pandora's box." This was stated on June 19 by the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov.
"Iranian society is very well organized and consolidated, (US intervention - Ed.) will lead to the growth of extremism inside Iran. In addition, those who talk about this should keep in mind that they will open Pandora's box," Peskov explained in an interview with Sky News.
He stressed that Russia advocates a political and diplomatic settlement of the conflict and calls on all parties to exercise restraint.
As reported by Regnum News Agency, on June 17, The Washington Post wrote that without US assistance, Israel's air defense systems would fall to Iranian attacks within 10 days due to a shortage of ammunition. According to the publication, Israel will soon be able to intercept only a small portion of Iranian missiles. Air defense costs Israel $285 million per day, the article stated.
According to Bloomberg, the US is preparing for a possible strike on Iran on June 21-22. In this regard, the heads of some federal agencies have begun preparing for an attack.
