Virginia Clara Jones was born on November 30, 1920 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of a newspaper reporter and his wife. The family had a rich heritage in the St. Louis area: her great-great-great-grandfather served in the American Revolution and later founded the city of East Saint Louis, Illinois, located right across the Mississippi River from its namesake. Virginia was interested in show business from an early age. Her aunt operated a dance studio and Virginia began taking lessons at the age of six. After graduating from high school in 1937, she became a member of the St. Louis Municipal Opera before she was signed to a contract by Samuel Goldwyn after being spotted by an MGM talent scout during a Broadway revue. David O. Selznick gave her a screen test, but decided she wouldn't fit into films. Goldwyn, however, believed that her talent as an actress was there and cast her in a small role in 1943's Jack London (1943). She later had a walk-on part in Follies Girl (1943) that same year. Believing there was more to her than her obvious ravishing beauty, producers thought it was time to give her bigger and better roles. In 1944 she was cast as Princess Margaret in The Princess and the Pirate (1944), with Bob Hope and a year later appeared as Ellen Shavley in Wonder Man (1945). Her popularity increasing with every appearance, Virginia was cast in two more films in 1946, The Kid from Brooklyn (1946), with Danny Kaye, and The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), with Dana Andrews, and received good notices as Andrews' avaricious, unfaithful wife. Her roles may have been coming in slow, but with each one her popularity with audiences rose. She finally struck paydirt in 1947 with a plum assignment in the well-received The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (1947) as Rosalind van Hoorn. That same year she married Michael O'Shea and would remain with him until his death in 1973 (the union produced a daughter, Mary Catherine, in 1953). She got some of the best reviews of her career in James Cagney's return to the gangster genre, White Heat (1949), as Verna, the scheming, cheating wife of homicidal killer Cody Jarrett (Cagney). The striking beauty had still more plum roles in the 1950s. Parts in Backfire (1950), She's Working Her Way Through College (1952) and South Sea Woman (1953) all showed she was still a force to be reckoned with. As the decade ended, Virginia's career began to slow down. She had four roles in the 1960s and four more in the following decade. Her last role was as Lucia in 1997's The Man Next Door. She died on January 17, 2005.
[PJMedia] On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously ruled that the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) violated the rights of student athletes by restraining their compensation. Specifically, the NCAA violated the Sherman Anti-Trust Act by unduly restraining colleges from compensating student athletes.
The NCAA rules “depress compensation for at least some student-athletes below what a competitive market would yield,” thus violating their rights under the Sherman Anti-Trust Act, the syllabus for NCAA v. Alston (2021 explained).
Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote the opinion for a unanimous Court, upholding the ruling of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote a concurrence.
Gorsuch painstakingly went through each of the NCAA’s arguments, dismantling them, one by one. The NCAA argued that its compensation rules should not be subject to a “rule of reason” analysis because it is a joint venture to offer consumers the unique product of intercollegiate athletic competition. Gorsuch explained that the NCAA has monopoly power in the market, so it deserves no such deference. He also dismissed the NCAA’s argument that it should be exempt because it offers societally important non-commercial benefits.

They have always been a paid professional athlete. Now they will unionize and the college revenues will go down. This will spell the demise of college sports, or the advertisers will step in and we will have another pro football league with college names.

While the NFL viewership has been going down faster than the Titanic, college football has been steady or rising. If they go union, have professional pay with corporations (more involvement with corporations than they do now), the NCAA will follow the NFL's woke bullshit and start hemorrhaging viewers as well.

*Shrug* Athletic scholarships seem about as "unnecessary" as supporting the various "Studies Programs". Or such fields as Medieval Burgundian Folk Music. As long as the Athletic Departments are "revenue neutral" then it seems to be a wash.
I am more concerned with the Service Academies (West Point, Annapolis, Colorado Springs) trying to stay in Division-1A Football, or Basketball, by recruiting "sports athletes". It seems a distraction from their real job of producing officers.

It seems a distraction from their real job of producing officers.
Some countries had some, admittedly modest, success with putting good soldiers through OCS.
On the other hand, good universities are absolutely essential for producing genuine scientists & scholars. IMHO, any society without such people is not long for this world.

[JPost] - Israel’s Defense Ministry has successfully carried out a series of interceptions using a powerful airborne laser system installed on a civilian plane, downing several drones.
The trials were carried out over the course of several days last week under the leadership of the ministry’s Research and Development unit and with Elbit Systems.
During the trials the high-powered laser system that had been installed on a civilian Cessna aircraft destroyed several unmanned aerial vehicles at different ranges and altitudes. The trials were carried out over the sea in the center of the country in close cooperation with the Israel Air Force.

[Guardian]The underlying challenge for Biden is how to keep together an unwieldy Democratic coalition that encompasses conservative senator Joe Manchin from West Virginia — which is Donald Trump country — and senator Bernie Sanders, a self-declared democratic socialist from Vermont, who this week drafted a $6trn infrastructure package. Oh come on, let's just admit that Bernie is a Commmunist and cut out the verbal gymnastics.
Then there is the squad,
...the Guardian isn’t to know, being English and all, but it’s The Squad, because they’re just that kewl or something...
the left-leaning group of House members that now consists of seven people of color.
I missed the additions — are they budding?
The more that Manchin digs in his heels against ambitious legislation, the more restive the squad is likely to become, raising difficult questions over whether Biden is applying sufficient pressure to bring the doubters on board. I wonder how well Antifa would do in West Virginia.
Yvette Simpson, chief executive of the progressive organization Democracy for America, said: "Right now people are really getting frustrated because it’s been six months and we don’t see Joe Biden engaging in the way that he should to push for more support. In fact, he’s negotiating against us and what Democrats want.
Squad members including Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Michigan’s Rashida Tlaib sharply criticized Israel for its recent bombing of Gaza and challenged the Biden administration’s unwavering support for the country. And when Harris told Guatemalans, "Do not come" to the US, Ocasio-Cortez called the comment "disappointing" and noted that it is legal to seek asylum. Is there anyone who likes Harris? I mean other than Willie Brown.
Ocasio-Cortez has also been pushing Biden to face up to the fact that bipartisanship with a radicalized Republican party is a doomed enterprise.

[Breitbart] Juneteenth celebrations in Oakland, California; Aurora, Colorado; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Clover, South Carolina; and Flint, Michigan, were marred by shootings and death. It's a Wakandan thing. You wouldn't understand.
ABC News reports that Oakland’s Juneteenth celebration at Lake Merritt was interrupted by gunfire at 6:22 p.m. When the shots ended, seven shooting victims were discovered, included a 22-year-old man who was killed in the incident.
Some History of Juneteenth
The holiday is sometimes called Black Independence Day, Freedom Day or Emancipation Day.
It derives from events that took place in Texas on or about June 19, 1865. On or about that day, over 2 years after President Abraham Lincoln’s (Republican) Emancipation Proclamation and approximately 2 months after CSA surrender. When a Union Gen. Gordon Granger (Republican), commander of the District of Texas, issued General Order No. 3, announcing that more than 250,000 enslaved Black people in Texas had been freed. Formerly enslaved people in Galveston TX celebrated the announcement. On June 19, 1866, one year after the announcement, freedmen in Texas organized the first of what became the annual celebration of "Jubilee Day".
Early celebrations were used as political rallies to give voting instructions to newly freed African Americans.
Early Black Independence celebrations often occurred on January 1 or 4.
In 1980, with the Texas Democrat Party losing increasing political control of the state. Decided to play the Race Card and became the first U.S. state to make Juneteenth a holiday for that years elections.
In short
1. The Civil Rights Act signed July 2, 1964, preceded it by 16 years.
Civil War by over 110+ years and other events were are historically meaningful to Black and White True equality.
2. It is the equivalent of a holiday passed due to Racial Political Blackmail being imposed by BLOM Radicals.
3. Another Federal/State Holiday will cost about $23.3+/- Billion to US, State and business operational budgets in lost productivity and overtime pay.
#4
All to easy to predict. Next up: Now that the Left has established it's supreme national holiday in Juneteenth. It will move to discredit and dismantle observance of July 4 as Independence Day. And as always, the Left will employ violence. I fully expect to see BLM/Antifa attacking random July 4 events by next year.

So, every weekend in Chicago is Juneteenth? Asking for a friend.

It would take a bit of data wrangling, but it would be interesting to calculate the excess deaths from Juneteenth celebrations compared to a normal 19-June.

[American Thinker] As Forest Gump would say, "just like that," scientists are now curious over the lab leak hypothesis, after adamantly denying it for well over a year, and want to investigate further, according to a letter published by 18 scientists. As NBC reported,
And while public discussion of a potential lab leak has shifted significantly in recent months, as more people pay attention to a theory that was originally promulgated by former President Donald Trump and his followers, the scientific evidence has remained unchanged, according to interviews with five virologists who have experience in microbiology, infectious disease ecology and viral evolution.
Note "the scientific evidence has remained unchanged". So what did change? The President changed.

There is a lot of criminal activity going on here. First their hate for Trump blinded them to the proper safeguarding and processes to keep America safe. To start, the scientists, political class, media and legislators put a stop to any possible treatments using Zink. They argued the Zink was dangerous and there were no studies, other than small ones, to show it worked. Yet they pushed an even lessor tested vaccine on the population.
They went after anything Trump said as lies and countered him at every turn, not for the betterment of the people, but because of Pelosi's hate for the man.
Lastly, and we don't talk much about this, the virus in China is a product of American Biological testing. It was being researched in America when President Obama banned all biological testing. Thus it gets moved at Fauci's request to China to continue testing. And then we get the release. When you get to root cause, we see that the dems stopped it in America on some moral high ground line, but moved it to a place where it can get loose and kill millions.
I have to ask myself a simple question. Was this the worst case scenario? Of are there other weapons grade viruses out there in third worlds labs because of Obama's decision?

[DailyWire] The CEO of a German media giant had a very pointed message for employees who complained that the company raised the Israeli flag outside their offices to show solidarity with the Jewish people and Israel as anti-Semitic demonstrations unfolded last month, saying that they should find new jobs.
The remarks by Axel Springer SE CEO Mathias Döpfner were made during a meeting last Thursday for the company’s 16,000 employees where he addressed complaints from some employees that the company had raised an Israeli flag outside company headquarters in Berlin.
“I think, and I’m being very frank with you, a person who has an issue with an Israeli flag being raised for one week here, after anti-Semitic demonstrations, should look for a new job,” Döpfner said. “After these weeks of terrible antisemitic demonstrations, we at our building headquarters raised next to the European flag, and the German flag, [and] the Berlin flag, said let’s raise for 1 week the Israeli flag as a gesture of solidarity. We do not accept this kind of aggressive anti-Semitic movements.”
The Jerusalem Post reported:
Berlin-based Axel Springer is the largest digital publisher in Europe, which owns Bild, Die Welt, Business Insider, Politico Europe and many other news brands, as well as Israel’s largest classified ads website, Yad2. …
Axel Springer put the Israeli flag up in front of its headquarters in May, following antisemitic displays at pro-Palestinian demonstrations across Germany, including marches to synagogues, shouting slogans against Jews, attacks on Jewish institutions and the burning of Israeli flags.
Döpfner reportedly said that some people did not want to work for the company if the company flew the Israeli flag and that those people did “not fit the company and its values.”
Axel Springer was founded post-WWII in 1946 in the western German city of Hamburg. The company’s top-5 “Essentials” includes standing up for the Jewish people and Israel’s right to exist.
The company’s top-5 Essentials include:
We stand up for freedom, the rule of law, democracy and a united Europe.
We support the Jewish people and the right of the State of Israel to exist.
We support the transatlantic alliance between the United States of America and Europe.
We are committed to a free and social market economy.
We reject political and religious extremism and any kind of racism and sexual discrimination.
Anti-Semitic demonstrations and attacks on Jews skyrocketed last month after Israel repeatedly defended itself from Palestinian terrorist attacks from Gaza. Palestinian terrorists fired thousands of rockets at Israel and Israel responded by devastating terrorist infrastructure, including over 60 miles of underground tunnels, inside Gaza. Israel also said it killed more than two hundred terrorists. Out of the estimated 4,350 rockets fired at Israel, approximately 650 fell inside Gaza and Israel’s Iron Dome intercepted roughly 90% of the remaining rockets.
[Washington Examiner] The number of police officers intentionally rammed by vehicles, killed by gunfire, or stabbed to death has increased over 40% throughout the first six months of 2021 compared to last year as crime in major cities in the United States continues to rise, a review by the Washington Examiner found.
A total of 38 law enforcement personnel have been killed so far this year, equating to a 41% increase compared to data from 2020, according to tabulations made by the Officer Down Memorial Page. By June 19 of last year, 27 officers were pronounced dead in circumstances considered homicides out of a total of 50 who died in a similar fashion throughout 2020 as a whole.
In 2019, 24 officers were killed in the same frame, equating to a 58% increase this year, while in 2018, 33 were killed in a similar fashion, a 15% jump. In 2017, 27 were killed, a 41% increase, and in 2016, only 22 were pronounced dead in circumstances considered homicides, equating to a 73% uptick in 2021.
In total, 58 policemen were killed in 2019, 59 were pronounced dead in circumstances considered homicides in 2018, 54 were killed intentionally in 2017, and 72 were killed in all of 2016.

[America Conservative] If conservatives can't even boycott Bezos, our defeat will be as inevitable as it is deserved.
At this very moment, all across the country, a hundred thousand tongues are wagging about the state of the conservative movement. I'm sorry to say, they wag in vain. There is no conservative movement in America. There never has been, and I doubt there ever will be.
Of course, there are folks who call themselves conservatives, and some even do a passable impression. But whether or not they’re really conservatives, they’re certainly not a movement. I’d say that movement is the thing we want most from conservatives, and the last thing we’re likely to get.
It’s funny, when you think about it. Our friends on the left are still in a tizzy about the Capitol Hill "insurrection." Meanwhile, here in New Hampshire, a man being charged in the riots is planning to run for Congress. "Despite my ongoing legal problems, I’m supposed to live my best life," Jason Riddle told NBC.
When asked why he broke into the Capitol, Mr. Riddle said, "I just had to see it." His home was raided by the FBI after he posted a photo of himself drinking a bottle of wine he stole from a (Republican) senator’s office. Not exactly Che Guevara, is he?
No, I’m afraid those who fear an imminent right-wing coup give us too much credit. Watching Fox News, posting Ben Shapiro quotes on Facebook, and casting the occasional ballot: that’s pretty much the extent of our activism.
And that, if you’re wondering, is why conservatives always lose. It’s why we’ll go on losing until the last Bible-thumping, MAGA-hatted redneck in Georgia dyes his hair blue, cuts off his penis, and starts calling himself Cheryl. We deserve to lose. And, when we do, we’ll have no one to blame but ourselves.

You can get almost anything somewhere else besides Amazon. Just because Google shows Amazon first after you search for something doesn't mean you have to buy it from Amazon.
And it wasn't Parler that decided me against Amazon, it was the Washington Post coverage of the Covington Kids. Bezos is a bad guy and he deserves to lose business if that's how he's going to use his power.

[IndependentSentinel] One hopes that all people of good will despise the vicious racism of Pakistan-American psychiatrist Aruna Khilanani and BET employee Lamont Hill, not just the white ones. Editorial transcribes the key bits of the interview we saw here yesterday.
[World News] The moment that local governments in the Western world began to issue guidance or full-on mandates for religious gatherings in the early days of the pandemic, many were concerned that society had stepped onto a slippery slope.
Fast-forward 15 months later, and we’re seeing pastors arrested in front of their children after their "underground" church services were discovered by a police helicopter.
This is the stuff of tyranny and totalitarianism, not Western-style democracy. Yet here we are.
This week, Pastor Tim Stephens of Fairview Baptist Church was arrested outside his home as his distressed children cried, all for holding a church service discovered the day before by a police helicopter.
.@ATSoos and @KianSimone44 were on scene as police in Calgary, Alberta arrested Pastor Tim Stephens of Fairview Baptist Church for a second time on new charges stemming from his hosting of ’underground’ church services the past two weekends.
FULL REPORT: https://t.co/hjRBNFjZ7G pic.twitter.com/IKNm4TItLv
— Rebel News (@RebelNewsOnline) June 15, 2021
The conservative Canadian website Rebel News reported that it is unclear if the helicopters were searching for unauthorized church services or just happened to notice the gathering. The outlet said that while police vehicles were later seen circling the service, which included group worship and a sermon from Pastor Stephens, they did not move in and attempt to stop the gathering.
The minister was arrested the following day for violating a court order that restricted him from holding services. Rebel News notes that the weekend prior, the church was effectively seized by Alberta Health Services for failing to adhere to local regulations regarding attendance, social distancing, and masks.
Stephens is being represented by the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms.
Jay Cameron, a lawyer for the firm, blamed Jason Kenney, premier of the Canadian province of Alberga, for the arrest, according to the Calgary Herald.
"It appears that Premier Kenney’s government is targeting its enemies, those who are speaking out against lockdown restrictions and for Charter freedoms," Cameron said, according to the newspaper.
"Locking out Fairview Baptist congregants and arresting Pastor Tim Stephens has everything to do with punishing dissent, and nothing to do with public safety."
Stephens has had several run-ins with the law for holding services in violation of local COVID-19 restrictions (as have other Canadian pastors). After Stephens was arrested in May, Alberta Health Services was forced to drop the charges after discovering the health order he had been accused of violating had been served to someone else by mistake, The Calgary Herald noted.

[JPost] - Forty years after Israel destroyed Iraq’s fledgling nuclear program, one of the pilots who took part in Operation Opera warned that an attack against Iran’s nuclear reactors "won’t be the same."
...But any operation to take out the Iranian nuclear program "won’t be the same; it can’t be the same," Brig.-Gen. (ret.) Relik Shafir told The Jerusalem Post. In Iran, "it’s all very different, especially how they built their program."
Unlike in Operation Opera, Iran’s nuclear sites are spread across the country, some deep underground or in mountains, and surrounded by sophisticated air-defense systems.
Shafir was one of eight IAF pilots selected for the mission, including one who would one day become the country’s first astronaut. It was Ilan Ramon’s first operational mission, but not Shafir’s, who was the second youngest of the pilots.
..."It’s a different world 40 years later, but the interests and motivations of humans remain the same. The Middle East and our conflict remains, even though at the time it was with Iraq, and now it’s with Iran."

Of course that doesn't account for all the newer empty warheads, 2 and 3-part chemical storage containers with working transfer pumps connected, sealed containers with 'Bio-Hazard' labels in English and Russian (those disappeared after 'Special' units visited the sites), new mop suits and recently printed handling instructions in Arabic that our family Marine's unit (and other units) found in early 2003.
Much of the equipment was labelled in French and German, so there's that too.

The "cleanup on aisle three..." described above was perhaps the cause of the political exploitation that followed that "Bush lied, people died". Some people believe we were protecting friends and our own misdeeds in the coverup, and others believe that the folks behind the Green Door wanted to aid the progressive side of the swamp.
[IsraelTimes] Israel allows export of agricultural products, textiles through Kerem Shalom crossing; Paleostinian official says mail, including passports, to be allowed into the Strip.
The Israeli government will relax some restrictions on goods and mail entering and leaving the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... Strip, after a tight ban since last month’s round of fighting, Israeli and Paleostinian officials said on Sunday night.
After a security meeting Sunday, a decision was taken by the politicians to allow agricultural and textile exports from the Strip from Monday morning, defense officials said.
Agricultural goods would be allowed for export to the Paleostinian Authority in the West Bank and overseas, but not to Israel. However, by candlelight every wench is handsome... textiles would be allowed into Israel following a specific request from an Israeli textile company that works with suppliers in Gaza, the officials said.
The goods would be allowed through the Kerem Shalom crossing.
Paleostinians said they had been informed of additional restrictions being lifted.
"The Israeli side informed the Civil Affairs Commission, a short while ago, that mail is allowed to enter and exit the Gaza Strip... after a ban that lasted more than a month and a half," Saleh al-Ziq, a senior Gaza-based official in the Paleostinian Authority Civil Affairs Commission, said in a statement.
Al-Ziq added that Gazooks stuck abroad since the 11-day escalation between Israel and the Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw, terror group would now be allowed to reenter the enclave via the Erez Crossing from Israel.
Exports of clothing and food to Israel and the West Bank would also recommence, he said.
The Paleostinian official said that passports held by Israeli mail would be released. Around 5,000 authorized travel documents are currently being held in Ramallah, waiting to be sent to their owners, the Haaretz daily reported last week.
According to al-Ziq, the Paleostinian coordination body was told that the change in policy would go into effect on Monday morning.
During the recent round of fighting between Israel and Hamas in May, Israel shut down all the crossings with the Gaza Strip. Only a few exceptions were made for specific aid convoys to enter the coastal enclave during the fighting. Gaza-based terror groups bombarded some of the convoys, wounding one Israeli soldier, the Israeli military said.
Since the 11-day escalation, a few restrictions have been eased. Gazooks seeking medical care were allowed to leave the enclave for treatment in hospitals in Israel and in the West Bank.
But Israel still maintains tight control over goods, including mail, that enter and leave the Strip. Defense Minister Benny Gantz has said that Israel will not permit a full reconstruction of Gaza — with the influx of materials that would entail — without the return of two Israeli civilian captives and the bodies of two Israeli soldiers currently held by Hamas.
Hamas, for its part, has rejected any connection between the reconstruction of Gaza and a potential prisoner exchange with Israel.
[IsraelTimes] Paleostinians return 90,000 soon-to-expire doses already sent by Jerusalem, which had planned to deliver over 1 million vaccines before PA canceled agreement.
Citing a diplomatic source, Haaretz said the three unnamed countries had requested all the doses should the deal with the PA fall through. The official said Israel was currently talking to them about supplying the 100,000 doses that were returned by the PA and expire in July.
If an agreement is reached it would be under the same terms as the deal with the Paleostinians, whereby Israel would be repaid out of future vaccine shipments to those countries. the deal would need the approval of Pfizer.
Meanwhile, ...back at the wreckage, Captain Poindexter awoke groggily, his hand still stuck in the Ming vase... the PA Health Ministry said on Sunday that it will seek to renegotiate the terms of its recent one million coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... vaccine dose deal with Pfizer and the Israeli Health Ministry, hoping to receive Pfizer vaccines from Israel that do not expire until the end of July.
Israel announced the planned transfer on Friday and immediately sent an initial shipment of 100,000 vaccines to Ramallah. Under the terms of the deal, Israel was handing over its soon-to-expire vaccines in exchange for an equivalent part of the PA’s shipment of fresh Pfizer vaccines, which are scheduled to arrive later in 2021.
Ramallah has been slow to roll out its coronavirus vaccine response, and fewer than one-fifth of West Bank Paleostinians are currently vaccinated. But the PA canceled the deal on Friday night, claiming that the vaccines it received did not meet its safety standards as they were set to expire in just ten days, at the end of June.
According to al-Kaila, Israel had sought to set two conditions for the transfer of vaccines: first, that no doses would go to Paleostinians in the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. Strip, which is ruled by the Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®, terror group; second, that the loan agreements would not designate the Paleostinian Authority as "the State of Paleostine," as the body often refers to itself in official documents.
According to the PA Health Ministry, 446,564 Paleostinians had received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine as of Saturday night, around 11 percent of the Paleostinian population.
Those figures include the more than 100,000 Paleostinian workers that Israel has vaccinated since March. Another 52,000 Paleostinians in the Gaza Strip have been vaccinated, mostly with Russian Sputnik V vaccines provided by the United Arab Emirates.
Israel has until now refrained from initiating a campaign to vaccinate the general Paleostinian population, despite calls from Israeli nonprofits, a petition to the High Court of Justice, and senior health experts’ urgings that it do so.
Israel has maintained that under the Oslo Accords, the Paleostinians are responsible for immunizations in the West Bank. Gaza, meanwhile, is controlled by the Hamas terror group.
The Paleostinians suffered their worst COVID-19 wave in March and April, which peaked at almost 3,000 new cases a day. However, a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all... following a strict lockdown, figures have dropped to some 250 cases daily.
[IsraelTimes] Spokesman for Merkel’s party says prohibition on terror group’s symbol would be a ’clear signal to our Jewish citizens’.
The German government has agreed to ban the Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw, flag following a rise in the number of antisemitic incidents surrounding the recent conflict between Israel and Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... terror groups, a report said Sunday.
According to the Deutsche Welle news agency, citing the Welt am Sonntag newspaper, the decision was made in response to a number of incidents at anti-Israel protests last month.
Hamas is one of several Paleostinian groups listed by the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... as terrorist entities.
The plan to ban the terror group’s flag was originally proposed by German Chancellor Angela Merkel ...chancellor of Germany and the impetus behind Germany's remarkably ill-starred immigration program. Merkel used to be referred to by Germans as Mom. Now they make faces at her for inundating the country with Moslem colonists... ’s Christian Democratic Union party (CDU), the report said.
"We do not want the flags of terrorist organizations to be waved on German soil," Thorsten Frei, the deputy parliamentary front man for the CDU, reportedly said, adding that the ban was a "clear signal to our Jewish citizens."
The center-left Social Democratic Party, a coalition partner to Merkel’s party, had initially raised constitutional concerns about the potential ban on the flag, but later gave its backing to the proposal.
Several German cities saw pro-Paleostinian demonstrations during the 11-day conflict between Israel and Hamas last month, prompting Merkel to issue a call for calm.
Some participants at marches in towns across Germany shouted antisemitic slogans, which Merkel blasted as "unacceptable."
Others burned Israeli flags and in one case stoned the entrance to a synagogue.
Germany’s Central Council of Jews, which represents about 200,000 Jews living in the country, called for stepped-up protection for Jewish institutions in the country. Data released last month showed antisemitic crimes rose by more than 15 percent in Germany in 2020.
A ban on Hamas flags would not be the first action of its kind by Germany.
Last year, Berlin officially announced that it had outlawed activities by the Iranian-backed Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah. Since there is no formal German branch of Hezbollah, Berlin could not outlaw the organization as such, so instead undertook to ban the terror group’s activities.
The policy prohibits the showing of Hezbollah signs and symbols in public, including "in an assembly or in print, audio or visual media, pictures or portrayals."
That’s one way to ensure the money flows into other pockets before it can stick to Hamas fingers.

Six Arab Israeli and two Paleostinian men were arrested in connection with the murder of Yigal Yehoshua in a rock-throwing attack on his car during violent mostly peaceful riots in the central Israeli city of Lod last month, Israeli law enforcement bodies announced Sunday, calling the incident a "racist and nationalistic" crime.
The eight suspects were arrested over the past several weeks in a joint operation by the Shin Bet security service and Israel Police, according to a statement from the two organizations.

[OneIndia] Three turbans including a top commander of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba were bumped off in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... 's Sopore. The shootout which began on Sunday night resulted from a joint operation conducted by the Army, CRPF and J&K police.
Mudasir Pandit, a top Lashkar-e-Tayiba turbans who was involved in the killing of three police personnel, two councillors and two civilians was killed in the encounter. IN all three bad boyz were potted, Inspector General of Police, Vijay Kumar told ANI.
The security forces, launched several operations following a terror attack in North Kashmir on June 12.
The attack took place when a police party led by sub-inspector, Mukesh Kumar was stationed at the main town for enforcing COVID-19 appropriate behaviour. Director General of Police, Dilbag Singh said that two of the four coppers, Waseem and Showkat were martyred in the attack.
Third guy identified. Khurshid Mir, a Lieutenant of Pandit's, responsible for deaths of two cops and five civs.
No question of payments here, B. Army identifies threats and provides intel, even overwatch if need be, and police have to perform. This time there was added zeal because the local cops who died were nice guys missed by the community.
The trio were hiding in another militant's house, and were being protected by some kind of community leader. One facilitator was err... wasted during questioning and one was shot in the encounter itself.
[Garowe] The republic of The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund... has been dragged into Somalia's internal politics, with opposition leader Abdirahman Abdishakur Warsame now claiming Ankara is directly responsible for problems bedeviling the Horn of Africa nation.
If Turkey were not there, it could not have been their fault. They are there, therefore it must be their fault — the same logic the Saudis use about foreigners in car accidents.
Turkey is a major development, financial, and security partner of Somalia, a relationship that has lasted for almost a decade, even as the country struggles to fight violent mostly peaceful extremism among other challenges. Some of the projects Turkey is taking part in include the improvement of roads and hospitals in Somalia.
But it's the training of Haramcad police and the GorGor troops that has often caused rifts in the country, with the opposition accusing President Mohammed Abdullahi Farmajo of "misusing" the soldiers for political expediency. They are accused of targeting opposition leaders in the crackdown.
In Mogadishu, Turkey has one of the largest overseas military training schools, which targets recruitment and training of Gor Gor special forces. But Abdishakur believes Turkey uses the opportunity to train and provide weapons that are wrongly used.
Turkey must help Somalia responsibly. It is not acceptable to train and provide weapons to soldiers who contribute to the insecurity and repression of the opposition," he told Garowe Online during Twitter Space conversation, Saturday dubbed "Democratization and state-building".
Ankara has massively invested in Somalia in a move that has seen equal competition from Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi... and United Arab Emirates [UAE]. Even in recent weeks, the Ottoman Turkish convoys have often been targeted by al-Shabaab ...... Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda... , which seeks to overthrow the fragile UN-backed Somalia administration.
While acknowledging Somalia's problems are enormous, Abdirahman Abdishakur however, blamed outgoing President Mohammed Abdullahi Farmajo for focusing on "non-issues" with an aim of protecting his stay in power albeit in short term.
"In any case, no president can solve Somalia's problems in four years, but he can work to make it better," he said, adding that: "Farmaajo wasted time in crushing his critics and the Federal States in Somalia, and that's is what kept him busy from the war on al-Shabaab."
For a long time, Farmajo has been accused of using security forces for his personal benefits. Ironically, in most of his speeches, the president has often asked security forces to adhere to their constitutional obligations in protecting the nation and its interests.
Ottoman Turkish-trained Gor Gor commandos and Haramcad police are often dragged to the country's internal politics like the operation in Gedo and raiding of opposition leaders' residences in Mogadishu. Recently, a fallout in the army almost plunged the country into civil war after Farmajo's attempts to extend his term.
But Abdishakur suggests that "The power to appoint and replace heads of the security agencies in Somalia should not reside with the president." Across the world, security is a national government function.
"The goodness and strangeness of the army forces are not measured by the weapons and uniforms they carry, but by their independence from politics. The outgoing leaders used the SNA - Somali National Army for political purposes in Somalia," he added.

Fethullah Gulen, a Turkish cleric living in exile in the United States was, or possibly remains, the Deep State's groomed 'regime change' pick to replace Erdoğan. It didn't happen, or hasn't yet. The effort to blame Erdoğan and Turkey for everything continues.
One of the reasons Mike Flynn (and there were many other reasons) was targeted was his support for the return of Gulen to Turkey.
#4
To be fair, Turkey deserves a lot of blame, though it seems misplaced here. Fethullen Gulen strikes me as far more suited to being head of a pseudo-cult of driven self-starters than as a politician, while none of his people have poked their heads above the ramparts to lead the fight against the unending Turkish government hunt at home and abroad for overlooked FETO members to haul off to jail.
I do have to wonder what President Erdogan thinks he’ll get out of his involvement in Somalia, and where he’s getting the funds to pay for swanning around as if he were already the neo-Ottoman sultan.

[NYPost] Do these parasites never go away? Who next? Anthony Weiner?
Former California congresswoman Katie Hill, who resigned in 2019 amid a highly publicized "throuple" sex scandal, said in a new interview that she is mulling another run for office.
Hill told "Axios on HBO" that in hindsight she now believes the scandal was "politically survivable," citing two current elected officials — Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz — who are facing their own allegations of sexual misconduct, but have refused to resign.
"You really wonder how much of it was the pressure I put on myself because I was a woman, and because I’d been an advocate for the #MeToo movement, and how much of it was sexism and ... the public shaming aspect of it, the revenge-porn aspect of it," Hill told the network of her resignation.
The former lawmaker revealed she is contemplating another run, but admitted it would "take a lot" for her to do so.
Hill resigned in October 2019 after she admitted to being in a "throuple" relationship with her now-ex-husband Kenneth Heslep and a 22-year-old female campaign staffer. Who was a lot hotter, btw

[Sudan Tribune] The Sovereign Council’s decision to establish a joint force to maintain security in the capital sparked mixed reactions among the Sudanese people and some political forces.
The Sovereign Council on 17 June announced the formation of a joint force involving the army the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militiamen, the police and gangs to maintain security and order in the capital and other big towns.
The decision comes after the spread of criminal activities and violence in the capital Khartoum.
However, a clean conscience makes a soft pillow... the formation of the joint security force triggered fears, especially since they are not trained to maintain security in cities.
Also, the participation of the notorious RSF turbans was not welcomed due to their bad record of human rights ...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions... violations.
The ruling coalition Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC) did not issue an official position on this decision which is largely rejected on social media and portrayed as a further breach by the military for the transitional constitutional document.
A member of the FFC Leadership Council, Haider al-Safi, told Sudan Tribune that the political coalition has not taken a position of force so far.
"We will hold our regular meeting tomorrow and we may discuss a unified position," he added.
But this did not prevent Mohammed Esmat of the United Unionist Party from describing the decision to form the joint force as "strange, flawed and suspicious".
This decision is a prelude to "situations worse than some can imagine," stressed Ismat in a post on his Facebook page on Saturday.
Last Tuesday, the head of the United Nations ...a formerly good idea gone bad... Integrated Mission in Sudan UNITAMS, Volker Perthes said he encourages the international community to support the Sudanese police which had been weakened by the ousted regime as it focused on the repressive security apparatus and various militias.
"The police are the most appropriate body to protect civilians. Preparations are underway with them for training programmes to be held in Khartoum and Darfur. In the future, we will expand it to include the Two Areas and eastern Sudan," told news hounds.
The Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) officials reached by the Sudan Tribune preferred to not comment on this decision for the time being.
For his part, Mohammed Hassan Haroun Spokesman of the Sudan Liberation Movement led by Minni Minnawi welcomed the formation of this new force.
Haroun said they would take part in its operations pointing to the need to curb the insecurity.

[AlAhram] LNA last week sent troops into the southern city of Sebha and then on Saturday to a southern border crossing with Algeria
Libyan National Army (LNA) led by commander Khalifa Haftar ...Self-proclaimed Field Marshal, served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy, so it's kind of hard to describe him as a Qadaffy holdover. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Guess you can't win them all. Actually, he is, but slowly... have closed the border with Algeria, they said on Sunday, after major deployments of his forces to the south underscored his continued role despite efforts to unify the country.
"The armed forces has closed the Libyan-Algerian border and declared it a military zone in which movement is prohibited", said the Moral Guidance Department, an LNA media unit.
The nearly 1,000-kilometre (620 miles) border between Algeria and Libya cuts through mostly uninhabited desert and has few crossings.
Despite progress towards a political solution for Libya after a decade of violence and chaos, most of the country is still controlled by gangs, corruption is rampant and the outside powers involved in the conflict have not withdrawn.
Progress is expected on Sunday in implementing the terms of a military ceasefire in place since September, with the planned reopening of the main coast road across front lines, and foreign powers will convene in Berlin this week for Libya talks.
[WashingtonPost] KABUL — He was a general's son, a U.S.-trained officer with a dazzling academic record and a daring military reputation.
Col. Sohrab Azimi, a field commander in Afghan special forces that often rescue troops and retake outposts from Taliban attacks, symbolized the country's best hope to fend off an insurgent takeover as U.S. troops began to withdraw from the fight.
Azimi, 31, and his squad of 22 men were massacred Wednesday by Taliban forces while defending a base in northern Faryab province and waiting for reinforcements.
At a ceremony outside a military hospital in Kabul on Saturday morning, a Muslim cleric blessed the velvet-draped coffins of Azimi and two other commandos, released by the Taliban and flown to Kabul by the Afghan Air Force.
They were lifted onto artillery trucks, followed by goose-stepping soldiers and a marching band, then loaded into ambulances.
But in Faryab, one of numerous provinces where the Taliban has launched repeated assaults in recent months, the mass killing added to a deepening sense of despair and defeat. After weeks of attacks that wore down local security forces and led many to surrender, the highly trained commandos sent to save the day had been surrounded, isolated and mowed down en masse.
“Government forces don’t have the will to fight. Their morale is weak and there is little coordination among the forces,” Sayed Babur Jamal, a provincial legislator, said Saturday.
He said the insurgents control eight districts in Faryab and continue to overrun military and police bases, seizing military vehicles and weapons from surrendering local forces.
“There is a strong possibility that Faryab will fall,” he said.
Officials say the pace and aggression of Taliban attacks have increased since the Biden administration announced in April that all remaining troops would be withdrawn by Sept. 11. In some areas, local forces have surrendered after negotiations between community elders and the Taliban. In others, departing U.S. troops have destroyed bases or stripped them of everything usable to keep them from falling into Taliban hands.
Despite the drumbeat of attacks, military officials play down the significance of local Taliban advances and note that many are quickly reversed. After the commando slayings in Faryab’s Dawlat Abad district, the district was recaptured by Afghan forces by Thursday, with insurgents suffering heavy casualties, authorities said.
For the Taliban, Azimi’s killing was a potential propaganda coup.
The group released a video showing him with bullet holes in his chest, lying amid the corpses of men he had led in battle. But Azimi’s father, Zahir, a former Defense Ministry spokesman, wrote on Facebook that he felt pride when he saw the bullets had struck his son from the front.
“You fought face to face with your enemy until the last moment,” he wrote.
In an interview at his home Friday, the elder Azimi also noted that his son — who studied in the United States and Turkey, held several academic degrees and married an American citizen — could have easily chosen a prestigious desk job or foreign posting.
“He had many opportunities, but he wanted to go into operations. Regular Afghan families related to him, those who lost husbands and sons,” he said.
The elder Azimi, 67, who fought Taliban extremists before they took power in 1996, said he was disturbed by the lack of planning that had preceded the dangerous mission in Faryab, leaving the commandos with no backup.
He said that with up to 50 of 370 Afghan districts under Taliban control or attack, it would be better to temporarily withdraw from some vulnerable areas and prevent bloodshed.
The ex-general said he respected Biden’s decision to withdraw U.S. forces but that the president was wrong to rush into the pullout just months after U.S. officials signed a deal with Taliban leaders.
“[The Taliban] came to believe they were winning, and they began to attract thousands of volunteer fighters and support from abroad,” he said. “They have a lot more capacity now.”

"The Bears are locked into a lease at Soldier Field until 2033. In addition, this announcement from the Bears comes in the midst of negotiations for improvements at Soldier Field. This is clearly a negotiating tactic that the Bears have used before," Lighttfoot’s statement read.
"As a season ticketholder and longtime Bears fan, I am committed to keeping the ’Chicago’ name in our football team."
To further convey her point, Lightfoot took a jab at the Bears.
"Like most Bears fans, we want the organization to focus on putting a winning football team on the field, beating the Packers finally and being relevant past October. Everything else is noise."
The Bears have played at Soldier Field since 1972 and despite ongoing talks about renovations, capacity plays a big role in the organization's desire to relocate.
President & CEO Ted Phillips issued a statement on Thursday confirming a bid for the Arlington International Racecourse property, which sits just 35 miles outside Chicago.
"It's our obligation to explore every possible option to ensure we're doing what's best for our organization and its future. If selected, this step allows us to further evaluate the property and its potential."

Born a couple of blocks north of there on Lake Shore Drive.
Had my best, favorite a car accident at Soldier's Field.
Driving an inter-company mail route, southbound in fast lane 2 of 6 southbound. Green Maverick cuts left across 6 southbound lanes right in front of me. I'm driving a heavy Oldsmobile station wagon. I swerve to the left, spinning, and hit the Maverick in the trunk with my backend.
I turn into the SF parking lot and there's a tactical defensive driving traffic cop in the lot watching the whole thing.
Two Asians [Japanese] driving the Maverick pull in behind me and get out yelling at each other and trying to get into the crushed trunk.
The cop tells me "that's the best collision avoidance driving I've ever seen!" He goes to the Japanese guys and settles them down. One is trying to go back into the southbound traffic and sweep up the dust.

There has been crickets in the media about this possible hate crime
[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] Amid rampant censorship, the purge of conservatives from the internet and left-wing propaganda brazenly permeating the mainstream media, entertainment and academia, a kaboom of "fake-news" fact-checker sites devoted to delegitimizing The Gateway Pundit have emerged to bolstering the iron curtain.
The self-appointed gatekeepers of facts operate under the guise that they have no bias whatsoever and typically cloaked behind a veil of anonymity.
In reality, they are merely liberal activists with no actual journalism experience and are intent on reinforcing their preconceived narratives and opinionate news.
Fact-checking is an imminent necessity because "you’re not intelligent enough to adequately read, research and or rationalize for yourself," the socialist arbiters of truth proclaim, "so, you must rely on us to filter out the ’fake news.'"
Exhibit A: MediaBIasFactCheck.com, a fact-checking that prides itself as "the most comprehensive media bias resource in the Internet," despite being run by an owner who was previously exposed for misleadingly claiming to be a journalist.
According to the fact-checking site, The Gateway Pundit is not "right-center" or "right," but "extreme" and ranks "very low" in factual reporting for premising its reports on "failed facts on a near-daily basis."
MediaBiasFactCheck.com also claims The Gateway Pundit reports "propaganda," "conspiracy," "Nationalism" and "Some Fake News" and shares its "low credibility" rating with every prominent centrist or right of center media organizations. They are losing money faster than they can do what they do. Job losses mount every day. Old saying "my outgo is greater than my income".
[AMERICANTHINKER] "Resistance®" television has been having a rough go of it lately.
MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace has suffered a roughly 80% decline in viewership in the 25-54 age demographic since former President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and whatever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... left office in January, the Washington Free Beacon reports, citing data provided by the Nielsen Media Research.
In May, just a little over 147,000 people in this all-important demo tuned in every day to watch Wallace's two-hour MSNBC program. In contrast, her program averaged 543,000 viewers in the 25-54 demographic in January, 297,000 in February, 177,000 in March, and 215,000 in April.
It was only a matter of time before lousy ratings caught up to cable news' patron saint of mediocrity. Wallace's particularly bland and ignorant brand of analysis and unrelenting cheerleading for the Democratic Party may have served its purpose when the Republican Party held the White House and the U.S. Senate, but now? Who needs analysis from a know-nothing, washed-up GOP operative? Very few people, apparently.
The non-geriatric adult segment of the audience, the 25—54 group, is the only one that advertisers wish to reach. They have money, and their brand preferences are not set in stone. Reaching fewer than 150,000 of them in a two-hour chunk of time is a terrible performance for a national political show.
[ToloNews] With the centers of many districts in Faryab now under Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... control, festivities have begun in the city of Maimana in the northern province, increasing the alarm of Faryab residents and politicians from the province in Kabul, who say that urgent action by the security forces is needed.
Along with fighting in the center of Faryab, the centers of 11 districts have fallen to the Taliban over the last 24 hours. The districts include Chal, Namak Ab, Yangi Qala, Khwaja Ghar and Hazar Samooch districts in Takhar, the Dara-e-Soof-e-Bala district in Samangan, Chahar Bolak district in Balkh, Khashrod District in Nimroz, Manjigak and Khanaqah districts in Jawzjan and Kharwar district in Pashtun-infested Logar.
Faryab politicians said the province needs urgent attention to push back the Taliban attacks from the center of Faryab.
The newly appointed acting defense minister Gen. Bismillah Mohammadi called on the people to stand with security forces and that the government will provide facilities and equipment.
The city of Maimana looked empty on Sunday morning following intensified festivities that inched closer to the center of the northern town.
"The people have been dispersed everywhere. Those who could have fled to villages," said Darwish, a Faryab resident.
"The conflict has reached the gates and the outskirts of the city. The Taliban has reached the gates of the city," said Mirwais, a Faryab resident.
Faryab residents warned that the city will fall to the Taliban if action is not taken to push back the hard boys.
"The government and the security and defense forces should take urgent action to save the Maimana city residents from this situation because it is on the verge of collapse," said Shafiqa Sakha Yulchi, an MP from Farah.
The situation has been fragile in the northeastern province of Takhar over the last two weeks. Eight districts of the province, including Chal, Baharak, Ishkamish, Namak Ab, Yangi Qala, Khwaja Ghar and Hazar Samooch, have either fallen to the Taliban or have been evacuated by security forces within a week's time.
"The war management is weak because they are not keeping one commander two months in one assignment. They are deployed from one place to another and from that place to still another. All the time passes during these reshuffles," said Amir Mohammad Khaksar, an MP from Takhar.
Sar-e-Pul ...a city and eponymous province in northern Afghanistan, population about 500,000. Demographically it is majority Tadjik and Uzbek. There are small Pashtun, Arab, and Hazara communities, of which the Hazaras mostly don't bother anyone... , Takhar and Faryab provinces in the north, Ghazni province in the center and Farah province in the west have lost the most territory to the Taliban over the last two months.
"If the Taliban chooses violence, continues fighting and bloodshed, they should realize that they will not achieve their evil end and will take it to the grave," said Bismillah Mohammadi, the acting defense minister.
Meanwhile, ...back at the Hubba Hubba Club, Nunzio had his hands full of angry bleached blonde... a government forces supply convoy was attacked by the Taliban on the Kabul-Gardez highway in Pashtun-infested Logar province, causing many vehicles to be damaged, according to local sources.
[JOURNALDUCAMEROUN] One of six Divisional Delegates working in Ndian, South West region of Cameroon ...a long, narrow country that fills the space between Nigeria and Chad on the northeast, CAR to the southeast. Prior to incursions by Boko Haram nothing ever happened there... , kidnapped last Tuesday June 15 by armed separatists in Ekondo Titi is reported to have been killed in captivity.
According to reports, the murdered Divisional Delegate is that of the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Johnson Mudika Mabia.
His body was taken to Limbe this Friday afternoon upon discovery.
The whereabouts of the five other Divisional Delegates kidnapped alongside Johnson Mudika while there were on a land demarcation mission in Misore Balue, Ekondo Titi Ndian Division last Tuesday June 15 remain unknown.
Sources have it that the alleged head of the fighters that kidnapped the government officials, ’Commander’ 10 Kobo earlier said he wasn’t interested in any ransom as reported to secure their release.
"Ransom is not good because they want to use the money that they will send to track us," he allegedly said in a voice note that went viral.
He had equally promised in the voice that he would use the kidnapped officials "as an example", without explaining what he meant by that.
This kidnap came 24hours after the opening of the two-day first bi-annual conference of Cameroon’s ten regional Governors where reports indicated that the security situation in the country as a whole is stable.
The report nevertheless indicated that the crisis in the North West and South West regions remains a major security challenge.

[NPASYRIA] The ancient city of Palmyra in the middle of the Syrian Desert, is witnessing secret excavations of antiquities by groups affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), using heavy machinery late at night, local sources said.
According to the owners of machinery and those working in the excavations, the Iranian-backed group Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba started a new excavation of antiquities in the vicinity of Palmyra in general and its northern outskirts in particular, using heavy machinery.
Hamdi Abdullah (pseudonym), owner of a truck, said he rented his dump truck to Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba from 8 pm until 8 am on a daily basis for a sum of 25,000 Syrian pounds (SYP) per day.
In May 2015, ISIS took control of Palmyra, which is on the UNESCO list of archaeological sites, and Syrian government forces retook control of it in March 2016 with the support of Russian air strikes.
However, you can observe a lot just by watching... eight months after ISIS was defeated there, its members regained control of Palmyra again in December 2016.
Following violent mostly peaceful battles between the two sides, the government forces managed to regain control over Palmyra in early March 2017, with the support of Russian air strikes.

[FoxNews] Raffensperger also removed 18,486 voter files of dead people.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger intends to remove 101,789 "obsolete and outdated" voter files from the state's voter registration rolls, his office announced.
"Making sure Georgia’s voter rolls are up to date is key to ensuring the integrity of our elections," Raffensperger said in a statement. "That is why I fought and beat Stacey Abrams in court in 2019 to remove nearly 300,000 obsolete voter files before the November election, and will do so again this year. Bottom line, there is no legitimate reason to keep ineligible voters on the rolls."
The more than 100,000 voter files set to be removed include 67,286 voter files linked to a National Change of Address form submitted to the U.S. Postal Service; 34,227 voter files that had election mail returned to sender; and nearly 300 that had no contact with elections official for two general elections.
Raffensperger's office touted the cleanup as "the first major cleaning of the voter rolls since 2019."
Raffensperger also removed 18,486 voter files of dead people according to Georgia's Office of Vital Records and the 30-state Electronic Registration Information Center.
"These people don’t live in Georgia anymore. Then you have 18,000 people who passed. So they are not going to be voting anymore. You need to have accurate voter rolls and proper list maintenance. It also helps your county election directors," Raffensperger told Atlanta's WSB-TV.
Officials say the periodic voter roll cleanup is required by law, according to WSB-TV. Raffensberger's office also published a list of all 101,789 names and gave Georgians 40 days to take action if their name is wrongly included.
Earlier this year, Georgia was embroiled in controversy over state Republicans' new election law that requires stricter identity verification for absentee ballots, legalizes ballot drop boxes and shrinks the window for absentee ballots to be requested, among other provisions.
Before that, Raffensperger and former President Trump were at odds over Trump's loss in Georgia. Now, Trump is endorsing a bid by Rep. Jody Hice to oust Raffensperger in next year's Republican primary.

OK! But how of these 100,000 still voted or double voted in 2020?

[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] A group of leftists aggressively harassed and attacked attendees of the Colorado Christian University Centennial Institute’s Western Conservative Summit in downtown Denver on Friday night.
One video, posted by The Blaze’s Elijah Schaffer and shared by freelance journalist Andy Ngo, shows a protester pushing a person walking to the Western Conservative Summit.
"F*** you," the protester, who is reportedly tied to the leftist group antifa, said in the video.
"You want some? You want some?" he echoed as he shoved the attendee. "You better back your a** up."
"Back inside, loser," another person can be heard repeatedly shouting off-camera.
"Your man came over and f***** with him," a third man said, defending the shoving. "Watch your man and shut the f*** up," he instructed an attendee who was attempting to resolve the situation.
A man named Leonne, who would not give his last name ("like Cher," he said) and said that he somewhere between 20 and 40 years old, told the Washington Examiner that he was "first and foremost" protesting "that a place like this," the Hyatt in downtown Denver, "lets a conference like this happen, that accepts money from these sorts of people."
"They’re known Nazi sympathizers. They sit at the tables with people like Proud Boys," Leonne said.
Another member of the group who refused to give a name said, "This is called ’Frontier Freedom,’ but y’all are on stolen indigenous land. And it’s on Juneteenth, and I particularly find that distasteful."
Videos recorded earlier in the day show more festivities between the two groups.
[AlAhram] Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry affirmed Egypt's aspiration to continue cooperation with the EU during the coming period to push forward the path for peace in the Middle East
Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry expressed his aspiration for the continuation of the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... ’s (EU) role in supporting the Paleostinian cause at all levels, as he met on Sunday with EU Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process Sven Koopmans.
Receiving Koopmans in Cairo, Shoukry affirmed Egypt’s aspiration to continue cooperation with the EU during the coming period to push forward the path for peace in the Middle East, the Egyptian foreign ministry said in a statement.
Their meeting comes a month after Israel and Paleostinian factions agreed on an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire in the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. Strip. The ceasefire ended 11 days of Israeli Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s that killed more than 250 and injured thousands of Paleostinians.
Shoukry affirmed to Koopmans that Egypt continues to exert efforts to consolidate the ceasefire in the enclave to achieve the desired calm and stability.
These efforts come in parallel with the reconstruction efforts and the efforts to meet the developmental needs of the Paleostinian people during the coming period, Shoukry noted.
The Egyptian FM also affirmed the necessity for a real political will and an appropriate climate to revive the Paleostinian-Israeli negotiations path urgently and establish an independent Paleostinian state.
Shoukry affirmed the need that this Paleostinian state be established on the 4 June 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The minister also congratulated Koopmans on assuming the post.
Koopmans hailed Egypt’s role in supporting the peace efforts in the Middle East, which caused a ceasefire to be reached in the Gaza Strip.
The EU diplomat also praised Egypt’s continuous endeavour to achieve Paleostinian reconciliation.
He expressed his keenness to continue coordination and consultation with Egypt to support the current endeavour to push forward the peace path.
Koopmans underscored the importance of the role of the quartet in the Middle East during the coming period and how it contributes to achieving security and stability in the region.
The Madrid Quartet, involved in mediating the grinding of the peace processor between the Israeli and Paleostinian sides, includes the United Nations ...an idea whose time has gone... , the United States, the EU, and Russia.
Cairo has intensified its diplomatic efforts to revive peace talks between the Israelis and Paleostinians, which broke down in 2014.
In a phone call earlier in June with European Council President Charles Michel, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi affirmed the need to work urgently to resume direct negotiations between the Paleostinians and Israelis.
Shortly after it brokered the Israeli-Paleostinian ceasefire in late May, Egypt dispatched the chief of the General Intelligence Service Abbas Kamel to talk with key figures from the Israeli and Paleostinian sides in a bid to consolidate the ceasefire.
Egypt also launched a massive initiative to support the reconstruction process in the Gaza Strip after Israeli air strikes last month destroyed hundreds of commercial and residential buildings and displaced tens of thousands of Paleostinians.
[AlAhram] The crossing has been open on an exceptional basis since 16 May following directives of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi
Egyptian authorities kept the Rafah border crossing open Sunday to receive maimed and stranded Paleostinians and allow humanitarian relief assistance into the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. Strip.
According to official sources, Rafah, the only crossing point between Egypt and Paleostine's Gaza Strip, will remain open on both sides to allow entry of relief materials into the Gaza Strip for the reconstruction of the impoverished Paleostinian enclave after the widespread destruction due to last month’s Israeli onslaught.
A number of ambulances were on hand at the crossing to receive injured Paleostinians and those at death's door and transport them to Egyptian hospitals for treatment.

The only payment is a line on a resumé saying one has had this work experience. And making connections that might possibly yield another unpaid internship or actual paid work in the future.
[HOTAIR] Governor Abbott threatened to defund the Texas Legislature after Texas Democrats walked out of the legislative session rather than take a vote on election reform laws. When they broke quorum and shut down the session, Abbott said that if politicians weren’t going to do their jobs, they shouldn’t be paid. Friday Abbott made good on that threat.
The elections bill was a top priority for the governor during this year’s session. Texas Democrats decided to cut and run, breaking quorum, instead of voting on Senate Bill 7. They knew that the Republicans had the votes to pass the legislation — both the Texas House and the Texas Senate hold Republican majorities. By breaking quorum when they did, Texas Democrats also stopped bail legislation reform, another of the governor’s priorities. Rather than do their jobs and vote, Democrats walked out, something that has rarely been done in the past. It is a cowardly move, not a move exhibiting strength.
At that time, at the end of May, Abbott tweeted out his intention to hold politicians accountable and said he would veto Article 10 in the budget which funds the legislative branch. On May 31 he tweeted: "I will veto Article 10 of the budget passed by the legislature. Article 10 funds the legislative branch. No pay for those who abandon their responsibilities. Stay tuned."
Texas has a biennial legislature which means it meets every other year. On Friday Governor Abbott signed the two-year state budget. He touted the budget as fiscally conservative. "It includes no new taxes and a budget surplus of more than $1 billion."

Starting with the papier mache head and protest craze of the 60's, the former democrat party has completely degenerated into a collection of puerile, petulant public stunts. The same way they have herniated themselves to coarsen and degenerate the social order at large and any public discourse. They talk about 'goals', but there is no enough, no destination simply directtional movement.
[AnNahar] Renewed battles between government forces and Iran's Houthi sock puppets ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him... s over the strategic city of Marib in northern Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... have left 47 dead, including 16 pro-government forces, military sources said.
The Iran-backed rebels are seeking to seize control of Marib and its surrounding oil fields, the Yemeni government's last stronghold in the north after six years of fighting that has plunged the country into a humanitarian crisis.
Diplomatic efforts to secure a ceasefire in Yemen had intensified, in parallel with the fierce campaign for control of Marib, which has left thousands dead on both sides.
But with no agreement in sight, the fighting has flared again after a lull over the past month.
Sources with the internationally recognized government told AFP that 16 soldiers from their ranks were killed, including six officers, on Saturday. The holy warriors rarely report their casualties.
The Huthis "launched attacks on various fronts, in an attempt to advance, but they were mostly repelled," one of the officials told AFP.
The sources said that warplanes from the Saudi-led coalition, which supports the beleaguered government, launched air strikes on rebel sites.
The Huthis said on their Al Masirah television channel that the coalition had also carried out 17 air strikes in different parts of Marib province.
The renewed fighting over Marib comes after the failure of a diplomatic push by the United Nations ...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships... , the United States and regional nations to secure a ceasefire in Yemen.
The outgoing U.N. envoy for Yemen Martin Griffiths on Tuesday told the Security Council his own efforts over the past three years to end the war have been "in vain."
"It is with deep regret that I report today that the parties have not overcome their differences," he said.
Yemen has been devastated by the civil war which broke out in 2014, and millions of civilians are on the brink of famine, according to the U.N.
The Huthis have repeatedly demanded the re-opening of the airport in the rebel-held northern capital of Sanaa before agreeing to any ceasefire.
As well as the bloody offensive in Marib, the Huthis have also stepped up drone and missile strikes on Saudi targets, including its oil facilities.
Saudi air defenses on Saturday intercepted and destroyed 11 drones fired at the kingdom by Houthis in Yemen, Saudi state media reported, quoting the coalition battling the bully boys.
"The interception operations were successful," the coalition said in a statement, adding that the drones were packed with explosives and seven were neutralized in Yemeni air space.
[Sudan Tribune] A front man of coordination, which supports the holdout SLM/A led by Abdel Wahid al-Nur, said that 11 displaced people from Mukjar camp were detained by the police in Wadi Saleh on Thursday afternoon and still under arrest.
Their arrest goes back to the fact that "the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) tried on Wednesday, June 16th to open offices inside the camp, but the displaced refused and resisted it by peaceful means" said Adam Rajal.
"The IDPs consider that some of JEM local leaders were among the perpetrators of the mass and individual killings, rape, looting, kidnapping, torture, burning, displacement, arrest and other crimes in Mukjar and Wadi Saleh," stressed Rajal.
The statement went further to claim that JEM officials were part of the forces of Evil led by Ali Kushyab who is under trial by the International Criminal Court (ICC).
It is worth noting that the IDPs Coordination and the residents of camps under its control reject the Juba Peace Agreement. Also, they voiced their support to the position of the SLM-AW which calls for a national conference they intend to hold in the future.
Rajal said the camp residents closed the municipality’s office to protest the arrest of 11 people.
The Sudanese in Central Darfur did not comment on the arrest of IPDs, or the incident.
The IDPs say elements of the former regime are still holding office at the state and local levels despite the regime change in 2019.
Also, aid workers complain that the humanitarian aid officials in Darfur still reject the give them the needed permits for humanitarian access.

Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances... as a "killer with no soul," he knew exactly what he was talking about. And during the Geneva meeting between the two leaders last week, Putin indeed killed it. He accomplished what he wanted from the US and more.

[LATIMES] When FBI agents asked for permission to rip hundreds of safe deposit boxes from the walls of a Beverly Hills business and haul them away, U.S. Magistrate Steve Kim set some strict limits on the raid.
The business, U.S. Private Vaults, had been charged in a sealed indictment with conspiring to sell drugs and launder money. Its customers had not.
So the FBI could seize the boxes themselves, Kim decided, but had to return what was inside to the owners.
"This warrant does not authorize a criminal search or seizure of the contents of the safety deposit boxes," Kim’s March 17 seizure warrant declared.
Yet the FBI is now trying to confiscate $86 million in cash and millions of dollars more in jewelry and other valuables that agents found in 369 of the boxes.
Prosecutors claim the forfeiture is justified because the unnamed box holders were engaged in criminal activity. They have disclosed no evidence to support the allegation.
Box holders and their lawyers denounced the ploy as a brazen abuse of forfeiture laws, saying prosecutors and the FBI were trampling on the rights of people who thought they’d found a safe place to stash confidential documents, heirlooms, gold, rare coins and cash.
If the FBI wanted to search the boxes, the lawyers say, it first needed to meet the standard for a court-issued warrant: Probable cause that evidence of specific crimes would be found.

[NYPOST] Dozens of House Republicans are demanding President Joe Biden ...... 46th president of the U.S. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier...... remove Vice President Harris from her leading role handling the US migrant crisis, citing her "inaction" on the issue.
"Despite being in the midst of a border crisis this country has not seen in two decades, Vice President Harris has not yet shown adequate interest in observing this crisis first-hand," wrote Wisconsin Republican Glenn Grothman in a letter President Biden signed by 56 House politicians.
"In the 85 days since the Vice President has been tasked with solving this crisis, she has yet to visit the border and meet with Border Patrol agents, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials and local law enforcement officials," the letter continued.
Torrents of illegal migrants colonists flooding the US-Mexico border have created one of the earliest and most pressing challenges of Biden’s presidency and Harris has been tapped with solving the problem.
She recently traveled to Mexico and Guatemala where she took heat from progressives for bluntly telling would-be migrants colonists there not to come to the United States. The White House has tried to pivot and has stressed that Harris’ role is primarily diplomatic.
The Republicans allege Kámala Harris Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's former mistress, then a senatrix from California, former 2020 Dem presidential hopeful, and now Joe Biden's wing nut. She's displaying her level of competence in her hanling of the Biden Border Surge has "not shown adequate interest in observing this crisis first-hand."
A major sticking point has been Harris’ refusal (so far) to visit the US border herself. When pressed on the issue she has punted. Former President Trump — who made immigration a central talking point of his administration — said he will visit the border later this month with his close ally Texas, Gov. Greg Abbot.

Via Bulgarian journalist Ruslan Trad. CACAK, Serbia, June 19 (Reuters) - Three workers sustained light injuries in a strong explosion that rocked an ammunition plant's facilities in the Serbian town of Cacak on Saturday evening, state RTS television reported.
Police blocked access to the factory and ambulances and fire fighters were seen nearby, a Reuters reporter at the site said, adding there was a smell of explosives in the air but no fire could be seen.
The mayor of Cacak ordered the evacuation of people living near the factory, RTS reported. The three injured workers were hospitalised.
"There was a huge blast, and the house shook under us and then we saw a huge mushroom cloud," said a man who lives near the factory and identified himself as Milorad, 60. He said he did not want to evacuate.
The investigation was under way, the authorities said.
This is the second explosion this month at the Sloboda plant, which produces home appliances as well as artillery ammunition, propellants and explosives. No one was hurt in the previous blast, which occurred at the plant's warehouse.
[JPost] Another coincidence
Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant underwent an emergency shutdown, Iranian media reported on Sunday.
The Iranian Atomic Energy Organization reported that a technical defect in the power plant led to the plant being temporarily shut down and disconnected from the national electricity grid, according to the Iranian Fars News Agency. The AEO stated that the plant would be reconnected to the electricity grid in the next few days.
The deputy coordinator of the Iran Power Transmission, Generation and Distribution Company (TAVANIR) told Fars that the plant was temporarily closed for "technical repairs," which would continue for about three to four days.
Last month, a massive fire broke out near the Islamic Republic's only functioning nuclear power plant in Bushehr. Last July, the city of Bushehr saw another large fire break out at the Delvar Shipyard.
In addition to the fires plaguing the plant, Iran said in March that Bushehr could stop operating this year altogether as the country struggles to keep the unit running due to financial troubles caused by American sanctions, the semi-official Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA) reported.
The incident comes as Iran and world powers continued negotiations on renewing the Iran nuclear deal on Sunday for the first time since Ebrahim Raisi, a hardline judge under US sanctions for human rights abuses, was elected as Iran's next president.

Technical difficulties, right, right,
what could possibly be a technical defect
in the power plant which led to the plant being temporarily shut down...
#2
The practical capacity of this power plant is about 900MW.
I've never been able to get data on the actual production but otherwise it seems to have been working reasonably well since 2013. There have been at least two refueling outages since then and for all appearances, those went OK.

[FoxNews] Gunfire broke between two groups holding respective birthday, graduation celebrations, according to police
A gun battle broke out between two groups who were each holding their own celebrations at adjacent banquet halls in Dallas early Sunday, leaving eight victims with gunshot wounds, including two juveniles ages 10 and 15, authorities said.
The shooting unfolded just after 12:30 a.m. at a strip mall along the East R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas police said in a written statement to Fox News. Responding officers found multiple gunshot victims at the scene.
Investigators believe two separate groups were each having a celebratory gathering in individual suites at the strip mall, according to police.
Photojournalists with FOX4 Dallas at the scene posted pictures of the aftermath on Twitter. One wrote that the two groups were at adjacent banquet halls celebrating a birthday and graduation, respectively.
Police said people from each party were standing outside in the back of the building when an argument broke out and led to a brief physical confrontation. Shortly after both parties went back inside their respective suites, gunshots were exchanged.
[NYPost] An Israeli vendor was yanked from a Philadelphia food trunk event, prompting claims that organizers bowed to anti-Semitism — and leading to a decision to scrap the event on Sunday.
Food truck Moshava said its invitation to the "Taste of Home" event scheduled for Father’s Day was pulled because organizers feared protests over their Israeli ties.
"We are deeply saddened by this," Moshava said on its Instagram on Saturday.
"The organizers of the event heard rumors of a protest happening because of us being there and decided to uninvite us from fear that the protesters would get aggressive and threaten their event."
"The organizers of the event heard rumors of a protest happening because of us being there and decided to uninvite us from fear that the protesters would get aggressive and threaten their event."
The company shared a screenshot of a statement from one of the two organizers of the event, Eat up the Borders, announcing the decision to nix Moshava "in order to best serve our guests." The screenshot says the nonprofit stands by an initiative "to give vendors from all nationalities a platform to showcase their talents and provide an awesome experience for all."
Moshava said in its post it hoped in the future the organizers hold true to their words of a safe environment "for all religions and nationalities — not just all of them except Israeli and Jewish ones."
Another canary dies in a coal mine.
Eat up the Borders has since made its social media pages private but co-organizer Sunflower Philly announced minutes before the scheduled start of the event on Sunday that the festivities had been scrapped.
Good for them.
"At Sunflower Philly we truly believe in creating a positive and inclusive community space here in Philadelphia," the group said in an Instagram post.
"Due to the ongoing situation with one of our event partners @eatuptheborder and @moshava_philly we have to decided to cancel the ’Taste of Home’ event today," it went on.

[FoxNews] It was the case of the missing pistachios.
When a pistachio company in California noticed that thousands of pounds of its main product had gone missing, it opened an investigation. It appears that a truck driver may have been running an illegal pistachio operation out of the trucking yard.
The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office posted about the missing pistachios on its Facebook page. According to the statement, the Touchstone Pistachio Company noticed that 42,000 pounds of pistachios had gone missing during a routine audit.
The company reported the situation to the sheriff’s office, which opened an investigation.
According to the Facebook post, it was eventually discovered that a tractor-trailer had been moved from the Montemayor Trucking lot in Delano to a nearby, unnamed lot. There, it was discovered that the pistachios were in 2,000-pound sacks.
Apparently, the plan was to move the pistachios into smaller bags and resell them.
Authorities arrested Alberto Montemayor, of Montemayor trucking, in relation to the incident.

"I’m a doctor. My job isn’t to do nothing. If I wanted to do nothing, I’d be selling shampoo," Hazan says. When patients got really sick, she tried everything, treating off-label with a number of drugs in combination, including ivermectin. Eventually, she ended up taking it upon herself to run clinical trials with repurposed, off-patent drugs like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, fearing that the lack of a profit angle would prevent a major corporate effort in that direction.
"I felt, no one is going to be investigating a cheap solution, so I did it myself," she says.
Some weeks ago, Hazan got up early on a Sunday to present findings to a group of physicians that included Dr. Kylie Wagstaff, one of the physicians in the first in vitro ivermectin study, a family doctor in Zimbabwe named Jackie Stone, and others.
She uploaded the talk on YouTube, and "lo and behold, it got taken down. It’s amazing. These are doctors talking. It’s not anyone selling anything."

[BREITBART] U.S. Representative Ted Lieu (D-CA) has challenged the U.S. bishops to refuse him Holy Communion at Mass, flaunting his support for child sacrifice abortion and same-sex marriage. Go ahead and sue the bishop. See what it gets you.
"Dear USCCB, I’m Catholic and I support contraception, a woman’s right to choose, treatments for infertility, the right for people to get a divorce, the right of same sex marriage," Lieu tweeted Friday. "Next time I go to Church, I dare you to deny me Communion," he taunted. The Church ain't no democracy. What're ya gonna do? Beat the priest up and take the wafer away from him?
The Jesuit-educated congressman, who attended Cleveland, kept in touch with the world by Obamaphone, ...was ruled by a Democrat machine from 1942 through 1971. After the river caught fire during the administration of Carl Stokes they tried a Republican, then went back to being Democrats when the party hacked up Dennis Kucinich ... ’s St. Ignatius High School and Georgetown University, enjoys a 100% politician rating from lobbyist NARAL for his spotless voting record in favor of child sacrifice abortion rights.
Lieu went on to tweet: "How radical is the @USCCB decision? A Catholic can love Jesus with all her heart, oppose child sacrifice abortion & work at Catholic Relief Services. But if she believes government shouldn’t put women in jail for an child sacrifice abortion, then she can be denied Communion."
"No wonder membership is declining," he stated.
Lieu was one of the 60 Democrats from the House of Representatives who signed a "Statement of Principles" Friday appealing to "primacy of conscience" as justification for promoting child sacrifice abortion, which the Catholic Church considers a very grave sin.
On Friday, the U.S. bishops voted overwhelmingly in favor of drafting a document on the reception of Holy Communion, a heavily debated topic following the election of President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass.... , a professed Catholic who supports the expansion of child sacrifice abortion rights.
In response to that vote, Ted Lieu called the leaders of the Catholic church "hypocrites" for failing to deny former Attorney General William Barr Communion for expanding use of the death penalty.
"You are being nakedly partisan and you should be ashamed. Another reason you are losing membership," he wrote.
The Catholic Church has consistently taught that taking an innocent human life in child sacrifice abortion is always gravely evil and has declared that Catholic politicians are obliged to oppose laws permitting child sacrifice abortion or euthanasia, noting that "it is impossible to promote such laws or to vote for them."
