Died May 31, 2014 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA (undisclosed)
Nickname Martha Lou Spring
Height 5' 5" (1.65 m)
Mini Bio (1)
Martha Hyer was born on August 10, 1924 in Fort Worth, Texas. Once she finished her formal schooling, Martha played a bit role in 1946's The Locket (1946). Slowly, Martha began picking up roles with more and more substance. The best years for the beautiful actress began in 1954 when she played in films such as Down Three Dark Streets (1954), Showdown at Abilene (1956) and Battle Hymn (1957). Perhaps the best role of her long career was as "Gwen French" in 1958's Some Came Running (1958) in which she starred opposite Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Shirley MacLaine. As a result of her stellar role, Martha received an Academy Award nomination as Best Supporting Actress, but she lost out to Wendy Hiller in Separate Tables (1958). Afterwards, Martha's stint on the US silver screen's trailed off some. She did make a handful of foreign films, returning to appear in the US from time to time, but nothing compared to the pace she had in the fifties. Her last film was in 1973 in the film The Day of the Wolves (1971). In 1966, she married producer Hal B. Wallis and remained with him until his death in 1986.

When you live with fame as a day-to-day reality, the allure of privacy and anonymity is as strong as the desire for fame for those who never had it.
I'm having too much fun looking for a husband to worry about catching one.
[JPost] - A Colorado man who fatally shot a gunman who had just killed a police officer was himself slain by a responding officer who apparently mistook him for the cop killer, authorities said on Friday.
Johnny Hurley, 40, was shot while holding a rifle belonging to a 59-year-old man who moments earlier had fatally ambushed police officer Gordon Beesley, police in the Denver suburb of Arvada said in a statement.
Hurley shot Ronald Troyke with a handgun. It was unclear why he picked up the dead man's weapon.
The tragic series of events unfolded on Monday afternoon after Troyke's brother called police saying he feared his sibling was going "to do something crazy," the statement said.
Beesley and another officer went to Troyke's apartment but were unable to locate him. Minutes later Beesley responded to a report of a suspicious man in Arvada's Olde Town Square.
Video footage released by police shows Troyke getting out of a pickup truck with a 12-gauge semiautomatic shotgun and approaching Beesley.
Police said Troyke called out to Beesley, who is seen turning toward the gunman, and the officer was shot twice with no time to take "defensive action." Police did not release video of the actual shooting.
Troyke then shot out windows in nearby patrol cars before running back to his truck and retrieving an AR-15 rifle, police said. He headed back to the plaza, where he was shot by Hurley. Shit happens
[BBC] The Biden Justice Department has announced that it will sue the state of Georgia over new voting laws passed in the aftermath of the 2020 election.
Attorney General Merrick Garland said the laws were "enacted with the purpose of denying or abridging the right of black Georgians to vote".
Republicans, who control Georgia's state legislature, say the restrictions streamline voting procedures.
Mr Garland also issued a mandate to prosecute threats to election workers.
It amounts to the first major action the Biden administration has taken in response to a wave of voting restrictions passed in Republican-led states.
[ZERO] In a story that will sound familiar to anybody who followed the collapse of Canadian crypto exchange Quadriga, two brothers who ran a South African crypto exchange have absconded with Bitcoin worth $3.6 billion stolen from their clients, demonstrating once again the one glaring security weakness: While hackers are believed to have brought down Mt. Gox, disillusioned insiders with the right kind of access can easily run off with a life-changing amount of wealth. And in many cases, clients who trusted the exchange to safeguard their assets will be left holding the bag.
Africrypt Chief Operating Officer Ameer Cajee, the older of the two brothers, reportedly informed clients back in April that the company had been the victim of a hack, but asked them to keep quiet, claiming that involving the authorities could "slow down the recovery" of the missing funds. However, the crime has since been reported to the Hawks, South Africa's federal police in charge of disrupting organized criminal enterprises. Ameer Cajee started the company with his brother Raees in 2019 and initially it provided "bumper returns" for investors.
[News With Views] Mike Lindell, the MyPillow guy, has been quoted several times as saying he believes Trump will be reinstated as president later this year (he mentioned August). I’m very doubtful of this, if for no other reason that, realistically, at this point it would take military action, and I don’t think our "woke" military would do it.
That aside, the U.S. is clearly facing an onrushing conjunction of crises likely to hit around that time, if not sooner. First, the number of voters convinced that last year’s election was stolen refuses to budge regardless of the volume of the Establishment’s denials and ridicule — and no matter the lawfare being waged against Sidney Powell, Lin Wood, Rudy Giuliani, Lindell, and others. If anything, the Establishment appears terrified of what will turn up in Maricopa Co., Arizona, and that calls for independent audits will spread to other states.
This is America’s collapsed and partly delegitimized political system. All the propaganda about how talk of a stolen election "threatens democracy" is just that: propaganda. The U.S. has not been an actual democracy, answering even to a majority of voters, at any point in our lifetimes. Gilens & Page showed this. That article is dense and restrained in its conclusions, but worth slogging through.
The approved narrative about the election could collapse, and if it does, a reckoning of some sort is inevitable. It might not happen this year, but it will happen eventually.
And this is not the only narrative at risk of losing all credibility.
If you want to see what a collapsed approved narrative looks like, think of the theory that the coronavirus said to cause Covid-19 evolved in bats and jumped to humans, possibly through an intermediary species, in a Chinese "wet market."

[ZERO] Update (1500ET): Judge Cahill handed down a sentence of 270 months - 22.5 years - to Chauvin, with a credit for 199 days of time already served.
Credit for time served? Golly.
The sentence is greater by 10 years than the 150-month (12.5 years) "recommended" sentence (represented by the average sentence for a second-degree murder conviction, the most senior of Chauvin's charges).
Before handing down the sentence the judge delivered a brief statement, insisting that his decision wasn't based on public opinion, the sentence is not based on emotion or sympathy, but at the same time, I want to acknowledge the deep and tremendous pain that all the families are feeling especially the Floyd family...I acknowledge the pain not only of those in this court room but Floyd family members outside this courtroom...most importantly we need to recognize the pain if the Floyd family."
The sentence, the judge said, is based on "your abuse of position and cruelty to George Floyd." Prosecutors had asked the judge to hand down a 30 year sentence.
In addition to the order, the judge released a 22-page sentencing memorandum, which will be released shortly.
Assuming he maintains a record of good behavior, Chauvin can be out in 15 years, serving the rest of his sentence on probation. To be sure, he is also now the focus of a federal investigation that seems intended solely to ensure that he will never be a free man again.

I want to acknowledge the deep and tremendous pain that all the families are feeling especially the Floyd family
What fcuking families? Floyd family? They're richer than they could ever be with him gone, and he's practically the new MLK for America! Motherf... bastard traitorous son of a whore in a robe.
The sentence is greater by 10 years than the 150-month (12.5 years) "recommended" sentence
Motherfcukers. Filthy, SOB, #%@ksucking motherfcukers. Swine in suits and robes. May they never see their own families happy again, the sons of whores. May their beloved Floyds and DeShawns reach into their secure lives and fcuk their smug happiness somehow.

Face it: the only thing that MIGHT have satisfied the BLM mob would be the death penalty, preferably the most painful, drawn out death possible.
Maybe even two or three death penalties.

insisting that his decision wasn't based on public opinion, the sentence is not based on emotion or sympathy
Somehow, the fact judge has taken unusual pains to reassure us that everything is on the up-and-up only serves to make me suspicious that it is not. That, plus the facts of the case...
Chauvin had to be sacrificed to the mob, lest our Blue cites burn. (You say that like it is a bad thing!)
I think the play is:
Chauvin goes to jail for a few years while the appeal paper-shuffling takes place and things can calm down. Assuming he survives prison, the case eventually gets tossed on appeal due to the prosecution's egregious conduct.
If he does not survive then it all becomes moot. Also, Chauvin Didn't Kill Himself becomes a meme.

This was none of the good Lord's pleasure,
For the Spirit He breathed in Man is free;
But what comes after is measure for measure,
And not a God that afflicteth thee.
As was the sowing so the reaping
Is now and evermore shall be.
Thou art delivered to thine own keeping. Only Thyself hath afflicted thee!
[Red State] The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a mockery of freedom. For more than a year, the federal government (and several state governments) forced Americans to hunker down in isolation, all in the name of combatting a virus that isn’t as deadly as we once thought. For the majority of Americans under the age of 65 (without certain co-morbidities) COVID-19 is about as lethal as the flu. However, the government’s draconian measures and the media’s unending fearmongering made many Americans think COVID-19 was akin to the bubonic plague.
Unfortunately, information about the COVID-19 virus, its origins, and risk factors have been contorted and manipulated into mistruths by our government and Fourth Estate.
On June 22, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) spoke at a Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee hearing titled, "Vaccines: America’s Shot at Ending the COVID-19 Pandemic." Dr. Paul had this to say, "I agree with you that misinformation is leading to vaccine hesitancy, and that probably the largest area of misinformation is coming from the government regarding natural immunity."
Dr. Paul also said there is evidence that shows natural immunity is possibly more effective than the vaccine and conservative estimates from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show more than 100 million Americans have natural immunity. In other words, we may be well past herd immunity, which calls into question the campaign to vaccinate all Americans, even those with natural immunity, and children.

Well, no national institution has exactly distinguished itself when it comes to COVID. Given how well their 'science' from last year has aged, one might reasonably be skeptical about the current 'science.'
#3
Obviously, you guys didn't get the memo. According to National People's Radio (NPR) and numerous, strangely similar letters to the local hippy weekly, vaccine hesitancy is caused by the fact that over 60% of Republicans believe that the Kung Flu is a hoax.
#4
After all this time our "Top Men" still haven't developed a consensus on the definition and extent of natural immunity to COVID-19 and particularly why so very few of those <= 18 get sick from it. The MSM studiously avoid publicizing either of these deficits among the "experts".

As soon as their work is to shape policy, they are then politicians, whatever their background may be.
I find it interesting all the different methods to Beg, Bribe, of Shove people into getting the vax. Seems to be the percentage of people who got the jab, or the perception of percentage, is way below what The Experts feel is the minimum to justify their policies.
And it also appears, the more disarmed the citizenry, the more draconian the measures to force compliance are.
All very strange for The Most Lethal Plague Death Murder Virus Evah.
[Free Beacon] The Biden administration in its 2022 defense budget underfunded a vital program dedicated to stopping China from advancing in parts of the Pacific Ocean.
The administration fell about $1 billion short of the $4.7 billion the Pentagon’s Indo-Pacific Command requested. Lawmakers and experts told the Washington Free Beacon the Biden budget's neglect of the program will enable China and discourage allies, putting armed forces in the Pacific in a dangerous position.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R., Tenn.), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said the Biden budget shows a major "disconnect" between what the Department of Defense needs and what the White House is willing to give it. Blackburn pointed to the Guam Defense System—a massively underfunded program tasked with protecting the more than 160,000 U.S. citizens living on the island—as a major disappointment. The Indo-Pacific Command chief requested $360 million for the Guam system and only received $118.3 million for the program.
"It is our constitutional command to provide for the common defense," Blackburn said. "The Indo-Pacific command chief got less than half of what he asked for. It shows you how far off base they are with this."
Guam’s defense is critical as one of the United States's westernmost holdings in the Pacific, giving the U.S. armed forces significant access to the area where China is closest. China has a complex system of rockets, bombers, and submarines that could leave Guam vulnerable to attack. The difficult terrain of the island and range of Chinese capabilities make Guam a difficult place to defend and standing U.S. defenses may not be sufficient, Missile Defense Agency chief John Hill said in June. In March, Adm. Phil Davidson called Guam a "target today" for China.

I think the Chairman basically said its not the Chinese, but the American people who are the threat. Emperor Xi's paid colonial officers are doing what is directed. The rest is kabuki theater.

[Just The News] As interest in the Wuhan "lab-leak theory" has intensified, a man at the center of the controversy has undergone a dramatic reversal of public and professional fortune.
Peter Daszak funded the Wuhan Institute of Virology from NIH grant awards that were largely shielded from wide public view. Later he posed as an ostensibly disinterested expert on the origins of COVID-19 in his roles as official international investigator, scientific researcher, and media commentator.
A British-born zoologist, Daszak is the president of EcoHealth Alliance, a New York-based research nonprofit focused on emerging infectious diseases. Closely involved with the global response to SARS-Cov-2 since early last year, Daszak was among the organizers and signatories of an influential letter in February 2020 condemning "conspiracy theories" surrounding the potential laboratory origin of the COVID-19 virus. He was given space in major international newspapers to argue vehemently against the lab-leak theory. And he was eventually selected to participate in the World Health Organization's investigation into the origins of SARS-Cov-2.
Yet in recent months, Daszak has suffered a fall from public grace: He has been sidelined from further investigations into COVID-19's origins; his earlier advocacy of the "natural origin" theory of COVID-19 has been retroactively footnoted to acknowledge (with varying degrees of transparency) his links to the Wuhan lab; and he has been subject to harsh media criticism as those links have become more widely known.
The editors of the renowned British medical journal The Lancet, for instance, this month published an addendum to the letter Daszak coauthored in March of last year, expanding on Daszak's "competing interests" regarding the subject of SARS-Cov-2's origins. The note did not mention the Wuhan Institute of Virology specifically — instead obliquely referring to "EcoHealth Alliance's work in China" — but more than a year after the letter was first published, his conflicting interests were tacitly acknowledged.
This was not the first time editors were forced to issue an update to clarify Daszak's associations. His June 2020 article in the Guardian originally made no mention of his link to the Wuhan Institute of Virology; that clarification was added about a week after the article was first published.
Even in cases where the research links between Daszak and the WIV were initially acknowledged, Daszak's heavy funding of the Wuhan lab was left unspoken, as in reports in the Wall Street Journal and in Vox.
[Western Journal] The widow of antivirus software tech tycoon and libertarian advocate John McAfee blamed U.S. authorities for her husband’s Wednesday death and said he was not suicidal. "He was pining for the fjords"
McAfee was found dead in a Spanish jail cell Wednesday in what Spanish authorities and his lawyer ruled an apparent suicide.
Janice McAfee is calling for an investigation into her husband’s death, according to Reuters.
"His last words to me were ’I love you and I will call you in the evening,'" she told reporters Friday outside the Barcelona prison where McAfee had been held.
"Those words are not words of someone who is suicidal."

[OneIndia] The National Investigation Agency has filed a chargesheet against 7 turbans of the proscribed terror outfit, Tehrik-ul-Mujahideen (TuM)
...one of Pakistan’s ISI’s catspaws in Kashmir, TuM was founded in 1990. But by the end of the decade the group was on their fourth emir, and subsequently their limited membership has been mainly visiting Paks with a few locals for local flavour. They’ve been seen in the Kashmir Valley in the Beeru belt of Budgam district, Ganderbal, and parts of Srinagar, Anantnag and Pulwama, and gotten funding from the Saudi Arabian Harmain Islamic Foundation — one of the financiers of 9/11, among other little projects — as well as the ISI and Lashkar-e-Taiba...
in connection with the Poonch conspiracy case of Jammu and Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... Mohd Mustafa Khan, Mohd Yaseen, Mohd Farooq, Mohd Javid Khan, Sher Ali and Mohd Rafiq have been named in the chargesheet.
The case was first registered under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in the Mendhar Police Station of Poonch District. The case was filed following the arrest of Mohd Mustafa Khan and recovery of 6 hand grenades along with other incriminating documents from his residence. The case was later taken over by the NIA.
Investigation has revealed that the seven chargesheeted accused persons were part of a deep-rooted criminal conspiracy by Pakistain-based handlers of TuM and their terror associates based in Poonch and Kuwait to execute terrorist activities and wage war against the Indian State.
Absconding accused Rafiq Nai alias Sultan and other handlers based in Pakistain Occupied Kashmir with assistance of Sher Ali based in Kuwait, Mohd Mustafa , Mohd Yaseen, Mohd Farooq, Mohd Ibrar, Mohd Javid and others on the Indian side of LoC in Poonch District smuggled arms, ammunition, explosives, narcotics etc into the Indian territory.
They were taking advantage of geography, affinities of religion, culture and other ties cutting across both sides of the LoC. During the course of investigation, large cache of arms, ammunition, explosives, narcotics along with flags, posters and other incriminating material belonging to terror outfit TuM, which was hidden at different places in Poonch was recovered.

Capturing territory by military force and then annexing it? Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that why we joined WWII, to put a stop to that?
That's actually the practical basis for the territorial boundaries of every nation on earth. The reason for every war is piled high and deep with flowery rhetoric, but the ultimate reason any country risks its future - the lives of its young men - is parochial interest. And there's nothing wrong with that. If I am not for myself, who will be for me?
We didn't enter the war in Europe, Germany and Italy declared war on the United States. It came to us. Yeah, I know FDR was egging them on, but even he knew he couldn't get a declaration of war against them with the focus on Japan and Pearl Harbor.

Capturing territory by military force and then annexing it? Correct me if I'm wrong
As I recall, Israeli tanks got as far as within 20 kilometers of Damascus before stopping because a truce was forced upon them, yet they only retained the heights of Golan overlooking the Israeli farms below.
Ditto Israeli tanks and Cairo, where they only kept the Sinai when the war was over, and most of that they traded to Egypt for peace.
So Israel in both cases could have completely conquered each country, yet did not do so and did not keep nearly as much territory as they’d overrun. Your initial assumption is incorrect, Knuckles Slererong5344. Consider yourself corrected at the front end as well as the rear of your argument.
[IsraelTimes] The Israel Defense Forces said that security forces foiled an attempted stabbing attack in the settlement of Yitzhar in the northern West Bank on Friday. The suspect was shot and "neutralized."
"A suspect was identified by an IDF observation post a short while ago attempting to enter the community of Yitzhar," the army said.
The settlement’s security officer reached the scene and identified the man who was carrying a knife.
The security officer attempted to detain the suspect and shot him in the lower part of the body when he refused to stop, the army said, adding that the suspect was "neutralized."
It did not give any details on his condition. There were no other injuries reported.
The settlement published a picture of the knife, which appeared to be a kitchen knife decorated with purple flowers.

[Garowe] Somalia has, in a couple of past weeks, registered small but crucial victories against the malevolent al-Shabaab ...... the personification of Somali state failure... terror group. And given the scale of madness expressed by the Death Eaters, any of their kind felled by our troops should be celebrated.
We want to be forthright in expressing our pleasure in seeing incidents in which the bully boyz meet their match. After all, it has been years and years of innocent bloodshed by these terror merchants. We express our congratulations to the special forces, Danab, for putting their lives on the line to take down the Death Eaters.
In parts of Lower Shabelle, some of the places have been impassable for years as al-Shabaab blockaded roads to extort travelers and transporters. They turned those parts of the country into their enclave, enslaving locals to their religious tenets no one can meet. They have abused Islam, and in turn, abused the people who follow its good teachings.
When Danab forces announced crushing some of those illegal roadblocks, it sounded like a country finally taking back its power from merchants of death. The small victories are certainly crucial for motivating the nascent army, its determined soldiers, and the country on the lam.
But we must never lose an eye to the cause of all these. Somalia has been without overall authority on its territory for nearly three decades. The Federal Government of Somalia may claim it is in charge now, but the persistence of terror cells, roadblocks, and uninhabitable districts in Somalia signals a country in need of legitimate authority.
The arguments in Mogadishu maybe that Somalia’s nascent government needs money and other resources to reach out to everyone. But there are poorer countries in the world that have managed to secure their populace without a whistle.
In most recent cases, al-Shabaab managed to expand simply by providing services the federal government hasn’t.
Somalia’s ultimate security, and the total victory against Shabaab, is going to demand much more than a resourced government. It is going to depend on how authorities can dissuade youth from joining renegade groups. It will depend on how the government can convince the public that it offers a better alternative to al-Shabaab.
In most recent cases, al-Shabaab managed to expand simply by providing services the federal government hasn’t. Somalis yearn for faster justice, and al-Shabaab simply conducts those kangaroo courts to show that theirs is not enslaved by bureaucracy or corrupt dealings.
It doesn’t matter that those courts the hard boyz run cannot even meet 20 percent of the natural administration of justice. But because of the lack of a stable judicial system in Somalia, people would rather subscribe to a terrorist group than spend years in and out of non-functional courts.
There is something else Somalia must do: The total defeat of al-Shabaab is also going to depend on whether we conduct a free, fair, and verifiable election. This could become the first stone to the walls that will strengthen our nascent institutions. A country with functioning government departments is likely to defeat al-Shabaab without even firing a shot.
As we have said before, al-Shabaab has been so infiltrated in our society that defeating it will no longer be based on ambushes or conventional warfare. It is going to depend on the government simply showing it is accountable to its people. There are examples around the world where terrorist groups have been outed simply through a strong working relationship between intelligence agencies and the public.
Somalia need not invent the wheel. We should continue crushing al-Shabaab through the bullet. But perhaps the ultimate victory will be attained simply by running a proper ballot.
[KhaamaPress] Taliban ...Arabic for students... fighters have fled from the Khenjan district in northern Baghlan province after the Afghanistan National Security Forces (ANSFD) launched a comprehensive military operation, MOD said.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Defense, the Taliban fighters have evacuated the Khenjan district after receiving heavy casualties as a result of Afghan forces operation.
Taliban fighters had seized Khenjan district on Wednesday evening. Another district, Tala-o-Barfak also fell in the hands of Taliban on Thursday.
This comes as the Taliban has launched its spring offensive with more focus on North of Afghanistan, launching operations on Balkh, Sar-e-Pul ...a city and eponymous province in northern Afghanistan, population about 500,000. Demographically it is majority Tadjik and Uzbek. There are small Pashtun, Arab, and Hazara communities, of which the Hazaras mostly don't bother anyone... , Faryab, Samangan, Baghlan, Badakhshan, and Takhar provinces.
As violence rose in the north, Afghan traditional leaders and local commanders form reinforcement forces against the Taliban, wherein many districts women have also been armed to fight back against the Taliban.
[ToloNews] Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... offensives in Pul-e-Khumri city in Baghlan to break the defensive fronts but they faced strong response by Afghan commandos and police special forces and their attacks were pushed back; however, pressure remains on the capital city.
The security forces assured that they will prevent the Taliban from entering Pul-e-Khumri.
Heavy festivities have been underway on the outskirts of Pul-e-Khumri city for the last five days. But security forces have managed to prevent the group from entering the capital city. Pul-e-Khumri city witnessed intense festivities between security forces and the Taliban on Thursday night. Trapped civilians on both sides of the battlefield spent a night full of panic.
"Taliban had launched offensives in Block Ha and Band-e-Dowom areas. They fled when we arrived on the battlefield," said Sediqullah, a commander of commando in the northeast zone.
"Clashes are underway. We struck the enemy strongly," said Payenda, a commander of the 888 Police Special Unit.
Baghlan residents are backing Afghan cops by taking arms and fighting along with them. They are protecting every street to prevent the Taliban from entering their city.
"We won’t let the enemy achieve its evil ends," a special forces member Basir Tokhtah said.
Yesterday it was Samangan and Kapisa, today ten more.
[ToloNews] Hundreds of people, many of them armed, on Friday poured into streets in 10 provinces of the country to raise their voice in support of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF), announcing their preparation to fight the Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... Those who rallied on streets said they will not allow the Taliban to take over their villages.
In northern Takhar province, a number of women went to the frontline where they distributed food and fruits to the security forces who are battling the Taliban in the area.
"It will be good if we Afghans sit together instead of killing each other," said Mohammad Asher Arab, a tribal elder from Takhar.
"As well as in Farkhar district, the security forces in cooperation with the people dealt major blow to the enemy," Takhar Police Chief Ekramuddin Sari said.
The northern province of Sar-e-Pul ...a city and eponymous province in northern Afghanistan, population about 500,000. Demographically it is majority Tadjik and Uzbek. There are small Pashtun, Arab, and Hazara communities, of which the Hazaras mostly don't bother anyone... is one of the provinces where the Taliban has taken over several districts. Many residents of the province have taken up arms to fight the Taliban.
"We are taking up arms to mobilize the second generation of resistance to fight against the dark regime of the Taliban, so we will defend until the last drop of our blood," said Ghulam Sakhi, a resident in Ghor province.
"We will wait until next week. If the lost territory is not retaken by the security forces, we will act on our own," said Mohammad Noor Rahmani, the head of Ghor provincial council.
In Khost province ... across the border from Miranshah, within commuting distance of Haqqani hangouts such as Datta Khel and probably within sight of Mordor. Khost is populated by six different tribes of Pashtuns, the largest probably being the Khostwal, from which it takes its name... , dozens of residents have taken up arms to fight the Taliban.
At least 200 residents of Zabul led by governor Hamidullah Tokhi have taken up arms for the fight against the Taliban, local officials said.
Moreover, some influential political figures have mobilized hundreds of gunnies to support the Afghan forces on the battlefields.
"No one should think that with these takeovers, the Taliban has been equipped and will transfer the tanks to Punjab," Deputy Minister of Interior Naqibullah Fayeq, who has traveled to Baghlan, said.
[ToloNews] Afghan forces retook the control of six districts from the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... in three districts in the last 24 hours, a major progress following back-to-back fall of territory to the murderous Moslems.
The districts include Andkhoi and Khan Chahar Bagh in Faryab, Khinjan and Doshi in Baghlan, and Ahmad Aba and Sayed Karam in Paktia.
At the same time, sources said that three districts -- Khost Firing and Guzargah-e-Noor in Baghlan and Dolina in Ghor -- have fallen to the Taliban in the last 24 hours.
This comes as heavy fighting is underway between the Afghan cops and the Taliban in several areas in the country, particularly in the northern provinces of Baghlan, Kunduz, Faryab and Sar-e-Pul ...a city and eponymous province in northern Afghanistan, population about 500,000. Demographically it is majority Tadjik and Uzbek. There are small Pashtun, Arab, and Hazara communities, of which the Hazaras mostly don't bother anyone... "The enemy has no longer a line. They suffered massive casualties and were pushed back," said Abdul Basir Salangi, a senior adviser to High Council for National Reconciliation, who has gone to Salang district in Parwan to support security forces.
"All resources are available. The security forces have enough strength. What we need is a high morale and strong determination. Our security forces are ready to fight the enemy," said MP Sadiq Qaderi.
Sources have told TOLOnews that a vehicle belonged to a public uprising forces in Shinwari district was attacked in Dara-e-Ghorband in which three of these forces were killed and nine others were maimed.
"Our brave security and defense forces are advancing. City belts are very strong," said Najibullah Amarkhel, acting governor of Kunduz.
"We have cleared those areas that had fallen to the enemy. We are ready to redeploy our forces," Faryab police chief Ghaibullah Sadat said.

^ I found this write-up from the Washington Institute very elucidating. Although it does skip the undeniably larger role of sunni friendly CIA policies and the opium angle altogether, the man does try to put it in perspective.

My shift partner went nutzo on heroin. He killed the ncoic and the oic in cold blood. And the MP on the entrance to the TOC. heroin. Up until that point I was a neutral.
Never again. Never.
The ncoic, I remembered his name but the oic I had misremembered. The investigating officer and I have recently spoken, and I was wrong. Misremembered. Lots of stress.
Bad situation. Still causes stress.

[ToloNews] At least 650 US troops are expected to remain in Afghanistan to provide security for diplomats following the completion of the American force withdrawal from the country, The News Agency that Dare Not be Named reported on Thursday, quoting US officials.
This comes amidst a sharp rise in Taliban ...Arabic for students... attacks on Afghan forces that have led to the fall of many districts to the group. But, on the other hand, thousands of Afghans have taken up arms to support the security forces in the fight against the Taliban.
US officials who spoke on condition of anonymity said that overall, the US expects to have American and coalition military command, its leadership and most troops out by July Fourth, or shortly after that, meeting an aspirational deadline that commanders developed months ago.

[Glenn Greenwald 6/18/21] The FBI has been manufacturing and directing terror plots and criminal rings for decades. But now, reverence for security state agencies reigns.
The axis of liberal media outlets and their allied activist groups — CNN, NBC News, The Washington Post, Media Matters — are in an angry uproar over a recent report questioning the foreknowledge and involvement of the FBI in the January 6 Capitol riot. As soon as that new report was published on Monday, a consensus instantly emerged in these liberal media precincts that this is an unhinged, ignorant and insane conspiracy theory that deserves no consideration.
The original report, published by Revolver News and then amplified by Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, documented ample evidence of FBI infiltration of the three key groups at the center of the 1/6 investigation — the Oath Keepers, the Proud Boys, and the Three Percenters — and noted how many alleged riot leaders from these groups have not yet been indicted. While low-level protesters have been aggressively charged with major felonies and held without bail, many of the alleged plot leaders have thus far been shielded from charges.
The implications of these facts are obvious. It seems extremely likely that the FBI had numerous ways to know of any organized plots regarding the January 6 riot (just as the U.S. intelligence community, by its own admission, had ample advanced clues of the 9/11 attack but, according to their excuse, tragically failed to "connect the dots"). There is no doubt that the FBI has infiltrated at least some if not all of these groups — which it has been warning for years pose a grave national security threat — with informants and/or undercover spies. It is known that Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio has served as an FBI informant in the past, and the disrupted 2020 plot by Three Percenters members to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) was shaped and driven by what The Wall Street Journal reported were the FBI’s "undercover agents and confidential informants."
What would be shocking and strange is not if the FBI had embedded informants and other infiltrators in the groups planning the January 6 Capitol riot. What would be shocking and strange — bizarre and inexplicable — is if the FBI did not have those groups under tight control. And yet the suggestion that FBI informants may have played some role in the planning of the January 6 riot was instantly depicted as something akin to, say, 9/11 truth theories or questions about the CIA’s role in JFK’s assassination or, until a few weeks ago, the COVID lab-leak theory: as something that, from the perspective of Respectable Serious Circles, only a barely-sane, tin-foil-hat-wearing lunatic would even entertain.

[AlAhram] Tunisia's coastguard said the migrants colonists, who also included three Egyptians, had been stranded at sea after their boat broke down
Tunisia authorities on Thursday rescued 267 migrants colonists, most of them Bangladeshis, who tried to sail from neighbouring Libya to Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... across the Mediterranean, the International Organization for Migration said.
The navy helped bring the migrants colonists to shore at the Ben Guerdane port in southern Tunisia, near the border with Libya, and they were handed over to the IOM and the Red Islamic Thingy, the coastguard said.
The migrants colonists were placed in quarantine at a hotel on the Tunisian island of Djerba, the IOM said.
According to IOM figures, more than 1,000 migrants colonists hoping to reach Europe had set off from Libya and ended up in Tunisia since January, and the number of departures is rising.
There have been 11,000 departures from January to April 2021 from Libya, over 70 percent more than in the same period last year, according to UN refugee agency UNHCR.
The agency said the "deteriorating" conditions of migrants colonists in Libya and Tunisia are pushing many to make the dangerous crossing from the North African coast to Europe.
Red Islamic Thingy official Mongi Slim said centres set up to house migrants colonists in Tunisia are full.
According to the UN, at least 760 people have died making the Mediterranean crossing between January 1 and May 31, compared with 1,400 last year.
Voting in a veto-proof Republican majority in both Houses of Congress would be the very best revenge, even if that requires accepting a few RINOs instead of the nearly identical Democrats. The lady absolutely reflects the character and abilities of the voters who elected her.
[PJMEDIA] Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. On-again-off-again Speaker of the House. It's not her fault when they lose, but it's her accomplishment when they win. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace and occasional senior... uhhh... moments... spoke today about "the root causes" of the January 6 Capitol riot: "the white supremacy ...the pernicious doctrine that laws were intended to be obeyed, that society works better when people don't pour shreiking from their places of worship every Friday for a weekend of rioting over insults real or imagined; and that cannibalism, beastiality, incest, murder, theft, rape, and similar activities are bad. A Dead White European (which invalidates his opinion) philosopher once opined that societies thrive when a person's word can be relied upon, and that a society which puts individual happiness first will invariably fail. Strangely enough, other successful societies, such as China, Japan, Korea, and those kinds of places could also be lumped with white supremacist societies, since they push the same values... , the anti-Semitism, the Islamophobia ...the irrational fear that Moslems will act the way they usually do... , all the rest of it that was so evident when you see a sweatshirt on one of the people saying, ’Camp Auschwitz.’" She repeated the common and yet completely unsubstantiated claim that the Capitol incident constituted an "insurrection," and once again claimed that Trump "incited" the "insurrection," in flagrant disregard for the fact that Trump told the demonstrators to remain peaceful. Her list of the three "root causes" of this sham "insurrection" were, in effect, a list of those that she and the Biden Justice Department intend to go after, and the charges they will hang over their heads in the Stalinist show trials that could be in the offing.
As many have pointed out, this was no insurrection. No one has even been charged with such an offense. The protesters were unarmed. The claim that they used a fire extinguisher to murder a police officer, although repeated far and wide, has been completely debunked. The idea that the great mass of people who entered the Capitol on January 6 and stood around snapping pictures and gawking at statues were there to overthrow the government at the behest of a rogue president is a paranoid Leftist fantasy, not a reality.
And it’s a paranoid Leftist fantasy with a purpose. The Capitol riot is really Leftists’ Reichstag Fire moment, and they’re clearly going to use it to demonize, stigmatize, and silence all opposition to their agenda. Pelosi’s inclusion of the terms "anti-Semitism" and "Islamophobia" among the root causes of the riot makes that clear. The protesters who entered the Capitol building weren’t there because they hated Jews or Moslems or anyone else. The protests weren’t remotely about such matters. The protesters were in Washington to demonstrate against an election that was marred by numerous obvious irregularities, and which is still being investigated as a result, despite the establishment media’s furious efforts to brand all questioning of the election’s integrity as a "Big Lie." If it were a Big Lie, there wouldn’t be such massive evidence of voter fraud, or audits going on in several key states and possibly more to come.

Addressing a presser at Jamia Manzoorul Islamiyah here on Friday, he said that people all over the world committed crimes but their institutions were not held responsible for their individual acts.
He said that the teacher of the madrasa had been fired for committing an illegal and immoral act, and thus the institution had done its job. He said that the religious class had no relationship with criminals.
He said about 1,000 to 5,000 students and 300 to 400 teachers were the normal strength of religious seminaries, adding that there were 30,000 religious seminaries in the country where around 3 million students were studying. "That does not mean everyone is bad in madrasas," he added.

[IsraelTimes] With swearing in of new government that saw Israel’s longest-serving premier replaced, Black Flag movement declares ’immediate threat to Israeli democracy has been removed’.
These creatures of the Obama wing of the Democratic Party think they got what they’ve been harassing everyone for. But Naftali Bennett appears to be just a younger, hipper version of Bibi, so the Black Bloc tools haven’t really won anything. One can only hope he now starts jailing the vicious idiots for all the misbehaviours that Bibi was forced to tolerate.
A group that helped lead protests over the past year against Benjamin Netanyahu announced Thursday it would halt operations, declaring victory after a new government that saw former premier replaced as prime minister was sworn in.
"The State of Israel has set out on a new path," the Black Flag movement wrote on its Facebook page. "The immediate threat to Israeli democracy has been removed. We won."
The organization was one of several prominent activist groups that helped lead the rallies against Netanyahu, who the demonstrators called on to resign over his criminal trial on corruption charges. Netanyahu denies wrongdoing in the cases.
"A criminal defendant kidnapped the country and embarked on a campaign in which he planned to dismantle the judicial system, use the Israel Police as an enforcement arm of his rule and turn all of us into his dependents," the group claimed.
It added: "Without the uncompromising struggle of all us we wouldn’t have reached this day... without you the defendant would still be in the prime minister’s chair and Israeli democracy would be under existential threat."
The group also said its members "are now setting aside the black flag and proudly waving the flag of the State of Israel."
Other protest groups vowed to continue demonstrating despite Netanyahu’s ouster as prime minister.
"We’ll continue to act in the public sphere to eradicate governmental corruption of all stripes and to strengthen democracy," the Crime Minister organization was quoted saying by the Ynet news site.
The main protest site over the past year was outside the Prime Minister’s Residence in Jerusalem, where thousands regularly rallied each Saturday night after Shabbat. Smaller protests were also held near Netanyahu’s private home in the coastal town of Caesaria and at highway overpasses, junctions and other sites across the country.
Netanyahu’s run of 12 consecutive years in office was ended on June 13 when an unlikely alliance of right-wing, left-wing, centrist and Islamist parties swore in a new government with a razor-thin majority. The ex-premier, Israel’s longest-serving leader, is now Knesset opposition chief and has vowed to swiftly bring down the power-sharing government led by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Foreign Minister Yair Lapid.
[NYPOST] President Joe Biden ...... 46th president of the U.S. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass....... on Thursday repeatedly whispered to news hounds during an impromptu presser at the White House — drawing bemused social media speculation and jokes about the "really creepy" exchanges.
On three separate occasions, Biden hunched over his lectern in the White House East Room and forcefully whispered to news hounds.
The awkward delivery seemed designed to emphasize his points while discussing a $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure deal.
When asked about additional relief for families, Biden whispered toward PBS news hound Yamiche Alcindor: "I got them $1.9 trillion in relief so far. They’re going to be getting checks in the mail that are consequential this week for childcare."
Later, when asked by CNN ...the organization formerly known as the Cable News Network. Now who knows what it might stand for... news hound Phil Mattingly about how the deal was brokered despite low expectations, Biden said in a normal speaking voice that he always thought the outlook was good.
"I’m not going to negotiate with the press when I’m negotiating privately with my colleagues. And these are very tough decisions. I don’t in any way dismiss what Sen. [Chris] Murphy [D-Conn.] says about the environment. I don’t dismiss it at all," Biden said.
Dropping to a whisper and stooping his head as his eyes grew wide, Biden added: "I wrote the bill on the environment. Why would I not be for it?"

[RIA Novosti] During the Nazi occupation of Crimea during the Great Patriotic War, Hitler's doctors experimented on prisoners of war and civilian Soviet citizens - they cut out kidneys and blood vessels from people, pumped out blood for the wounded German military.
Once near the basement where the prisoners of war were kept, they found a note. "We are sitting here, doomed to death, experiments are being done on us, they are giving mysterious injections," Galkin quoted its contents.
This is evidenced by archival materials declassified by the FSB department for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, which RIA Novosti got acquainted with.

Speaking to the prime minister were Yara Bayoumy, the Times’ world and national security editor, and Jyoti Thottam, the newspaper’s deputy Op-Ed editor.
The interview was published ahead of US President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. Old, boring, a plagiarist, fond of hair sniffing and grabbing the protruding parts of women, and not whatcha call brilliant... or is that an act?... ’s meeting with top Afghan leaders- President Ashraf Ghani ...former chancellor of Kabul University, now president of Afghanistan. Before returning to Afghanistan in 2002 he was a scholar of political science and anthropology. He worked at the World Bank working on international development assistance. As Finance Minister of Afghanistan between July 2002 and December 2004, he led Afghanistan's attempted economic recovery until the Karzais stole all the money... and Chairman of Afghanistan’s High Council for National Reconciliation Abdullah Abdullah ...the former foreign minister of the Northern Alliance government, advisor to Masood, and candidate for president against both Karzai and Ghani. Dr. Abdullah was born in Kabul and is half Tadjik and half Pashtun. He also held the meaningless salaried sop position as CEO of Afghanistan, while Ghani was president... - at the White House later Friday.
American officials have said they will discuss the US troops’ withdrawal amid a surge in fighting between the Afghan forces and the Taliban across the country. Imran Khan said Pakistain had used the "maximum leverage" it could on the Taliban to bring them to negotiating table with the United States and then with the Afghan government.
"Unfortunately," he said, "there is still a feeling in the Afghan government that Pakistain could do more, which I have to say is very disappointing to us when they blame us for being unable to, after so many years, to come to some sort of a settlement."
Replying to a question, the prime minister said Pakistain had been in constant communication with the Afghan government at different levels. Asked whether his government would recognise the Taliban if they carried a full military takeover in Afghanistan, the prime minister said, " Pakistain will only recognise a government which is chosen by the people of Afghanistan, whichever government they choose."

Via Bulgarian journalist Ruslan Trad [STJ-SY] Introduction
Parties in the Libyan conflict reached a permanent ceasefire agreement across the country on 23 October 2020.[1] The agreement contained a term on the removal of various groups of foreign forces and mercenaries from the country before 23 January 2021. However, Syrians for Truth and Justice (STJ) obtained information verifying that recruitment drives and mercenary deployment to Libya are still underway.
Hundreds of Syrians were transferred to Libya by armed Syrian groups and Russian security companies between 23 October 2020 and early April 2021. Furthermore, STJ discovered that the large percentage of recruits sent to Libya during the recent period were civilians from several Syrian provinces, including the countryside of Damascus, As-Suwayda, Deir ez-Zor, and Raqqa, as well as the city of Palmyra in Homs province. Notably, most of these provinces are controlled by the Syrian government.

Mr. Donahoe, you remind me of a fish, swims to where the feeding is good, because of the number of insects are plentiful, freshly killed, and juicy. Judgement of the waters made you swim far away from your spawning grounds, a place you are best suited for, with knowledge of your environment.
Covid killed our economy(water), people are slow to restart work (insects), we are ripe for the expansion of our economy because of pent-up demand (juicy), our environment is America, the home of the free and the brave (where your company started). We will rebound stronger than ever.
Unfortunately for you and NIKE, a bargain has been struck with China rather than your formerly native and supporting spawning ground... you are now a foreign species. You have taken in too much foreign water, changed your DNA...no longer American but Oriental.
NIKE are now fish to hook, capture and cook.
Good Luck in your attempt to 'come back', frankly you are not wanted here as prized fish but rather as a despised fish.

This shithead bought a bunch of crappy little companies for about $3 billion, without the faintest clue how to get any value out of them, and ended up selling them off in a fire sale for about 1/3 of what he paid.
Along the way Donahoe heaped scorn upon a far sharper businessman, investor Carl Icahn, who correctly assessed the eBay management to be incompetent nitwits and who judged that only PayPal was worth buying.
Typical consulting tool.

[TASS] MiG-31K fighters capable of employing Kinzhal hypersonic missiles have joined the Russian Navy’s maneuvers in the Mediterranean Sea, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Friday.
"In the course of the joint maneuvers of the Russian Navy’s standing Mediterranean taskforce and aircraft of Russia’s Aerospace Force that kicked off in the eastern Mediterranean on June 25, the crews of MiG-31K planes capable of employing the latest Kinzhal hypersonic missiles that arrived at the Russian Hmeymim airbase in the Syrian Arab Republic the other day have started accomplishing the tasks of mastering the airspace in the maritime zone," the ministry said in a statement.
MiG-31K fighters arrived at the Russian Hmeymim airbase in Syria for the first time, following the upgrade and the extension of the second runway with the complete replacement of the runway’s surface and the installation of new lighting navigational facilities and radio-technical equipment, the statement says.
"Tu-22M3 long-range bombers have also performed their training flights over the Mediterranean Sea," the Defense Ministry said.
Overall, the drills involve five Russian warships, including the missile cruiser Moskva, the frigates Admiral Essen and Admiral Makarov and the submarines Stary Oskol and Rostov-on-Don. The aircraft of Russia’s Aerospace Force are represented in the joint maneuvers by Tu-142MK and Il-38 anti-submarine warfare planes, Tu-22M3 long-range bombers and MiG-31K fighters, the ministry specified.
"The hypothetical enemy with the designated characteristics was simulated electronically by the shipborne armament control system," the statement says.
Related: Russia approves naval basing agreement in Sudan
[TASS] Russia’s government has approved an agreement with Sudan on establishing a Russian navy logistics center in Sudan, the agreement will be submitted to the president, according to a government resolution posted on the official website of legal information on Friday.
"To approve and refer to the Russian president for submitting to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly for ratification the agreement between Russia and Sudan on the establishment of a logistics center of the Russian Navy in Sudan that was signed in Khartoum on July 23, 2019, and in Moscow on December 1, 2020," the document reads.
Under the agreement, Sudan hands over the territory and real estate, including the coastline and a water zone with berthing facilities to Russia for free use. The upper limit of the center’s military and civil personnel shall not exceed 300, with any increase possible upon Sudan’s consent. The agreement’s term is 25 years, with automatic extension for ten-year periods in case neither of the sides notifies the other in written through diplomatic channels about its intention to terminate the agreement at least a year ahead of its expiration.
Sudan said on June 1 it planned to review its naval base agreement with Russia. Sudanese Chief of General Staff Muhammad Othman al-Hussein said in an interview with the Blue Nile TV channel Khartoum was in talks with Moscow to revise the agreement to take into account its interests and benefits.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on June 10 that the text of the naval base agreement could be changed but Moscow confirmed its interest in cooperation with Khartoum. She recalled that the agreement had been signed by an authorized representative of the Sudanese transitional Supreme Council in Khartoum on July 23, 2019, i.e. after the change of political regime in Sudan. "The document has not been ratified by Sudan, as the country has no legislative authority with such powers. It means changes can be introduced into the text upon agreement of the parties," she said.
[NYPOST] President Joe Biden ... 46th president of the U.S. We get to suffer the consequences...... raised eyebrows Thursday in North Carolina with a bizarre statement in which he claimed that "Latinx" people are less likely to get vaccinated against the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... because "they’re worried that they’ll be vaccinated and deported."
Biden traveled to Raleigh as part of a a nationwide "month of action" campaign meant to boost vaccination rates before the July 4 holiday. However, Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried... the president’s exhortation for people to get the shot was overshadowed by his strange aside, in which he also confused the Tuskegee Airmen — the heroic African American pilots of World War II — with the victims of the infamous decades-long Tuskegee syphilis study.
"There’s a reason why it’s been harder to get African-Americans, initially, to get vaccinated," Biden said. "Because they’re used to being experimented on — Tuskegee Airmen and others. People have memories. People have long memories.
"It’s awful hard, as well, to get Latinx vaccinated as well," the president continued. "Why? They’re worried that they’ll be vaccinated and deported."

She said many of them are suffering broken legs, smashed spines and shattered hips due to falling off the border wall as they attempt to cross into the U.S. Those kinds of hip and spine injuries have life long impacts on functionality, I imagine.
Torres said the hospital is so desperate for space that it is now issuing contracts to care homes to take in the injured migrants during their treatment

[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] Police confirmed multiple fatalities after a mass stabbing in Wurzburg on Friday
The suspect has been identified as a 24-year-old Somali man living in Wurzburg
Videos showed pedestrians holding the attacker at bay with chairs and sticks
A witness reported that the knifeman shouted 'Allah Akbar' before the attack
I'm guessing Sudden Jihad Syndrome, though the perp hasn't been ID'd. Ran into a pack, not a herd, didn't he?
He sure did. The first video shows him being held at bay, the second being chased by angry locals. He is very lucky the police stopped him before the crowd did. Deutsche Welle has more:
WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE SUSPECTED ATTACKER
The suspected perpetrator is a 24-year old Somalian man who lives in Würzburg, police said on Twitter
He has lived in Würzburg since 2015
The suspect was receiving psychiatric care, Herrmann said
In the past months, the suspect had drawn attention for "violent actions or readiness," Herrmann said
A MOTIVE FOR THE ATTACK
Investigators are looking into the motivation for the attack. According to a police spokesperson, the suspect is not known to the police for crimes that "lean in the direction of Islamic extremism."
Herrmann said that he is not excluding any possibility: "In any case, there is circumstantial evidence that this could have been an Islamist attack."
Herrmann cited a witness who alleged that the attacker had shouted the common Islamic phrase "Allahu Akbar," which means "God is great."
The number of Islamists considered dangerous in Germany rose sharply between 2015 and 2018, according to security services.
But numbers have declined since then, with just 615 considered dangerous by the latest count — compared with 730 in January 2018.
On top of that, there are also 521 people “who have attracted the attention of the security services but have not yet reached the stage of being considered dangerous”.
The suspect had most recently lived in a shelter for the homeless in the city and apparently did not know the victims.
Bavaria's top security official, Joachim Herrmann, said the suspect had been known to police and had been admitted to a psychiatric unit just a few days earlier.
'His condition had been noticed in recent months, including violent mostly peaceful tendencies, and a few days ago he was put into compulsory psychiatric treatment,' Herrmann said.

Investigators are looking into the motivation for the attack
Take a guess. The man went into the kitchen department of a store and asked an assistant where the knives were, regional police president Gerhard Kallert said. He seized a knife and stabbed and killed the saleswoman and two more women in the shop.
He then injured five other women seriously, as well as wounding a child, in a bank and on the street.
He was cornered by passers-by before the police shot him in the thigh, Kallert said.

[All Africa] Following a recent threat by Mark Jabateh to kill Liberia's Chief Justice Francis S. Korkpor, Sr. if a single Mandingo man got killed in a land dispute, the Liberia National Bar Association (LNBA) has intensified the call for the establishment of a war and economic crimes court to curtail impunity of war crimes here.
LNBA president Cllr. Tiawan Gongloe told judicial news hounds Monday, 26 April that impunity is too much in the country to the extent that some perpetrators of war crimes are even calling upon their war - time allies and those they commanded to rise up for whatever grievances they have."And that is why we are calling on all Liberians, all Liberians to, to support the establishment of the extraordinary tribunal for war and economic crimes," Cllr. Gongloe says.
Cllr. Gongloe condemns Jabateh's threat on the life of Chief Justice Korkpor, saying the Judicial branch, just like the other two branches of government, has challenges and the citizens, especially lawyers, are working to help improve the system."But that should not give anybody in this country the right to threaten any judge, any magistrate, any Justice of the Supreme Court based on how they see their work," Gongloe warns.

Few things are more likely to inspire the former warlords to call on their old allies and unearth their weapons caches than a war crimes court.

[NYPOST] When life gives you melons, you may have to explain to the public that they’re not fake. Salma Hayek has gone on the record to say that yes, her breasts are real — but she can understand why fans might think otherwise. "They just keep gettin' bigger 'n' bigger!
"A lot of people said that I had breast augmentation. I don’t blame them! My udders boobs were smaller! So was the rest of my body," the 54-year-old actress said Wednesday on "Red Table Talk," the Facebook Watch series Jada Pinkett Smith co-hosts with her daughter, Willow Smith, and mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris. Sorry I missed it.
Her growth, however, is all natural. Hayek explained that it happened significantly during life changes like pregnancy, menopause and periods of weight gain. Yeah, sure. Happens all the time.
It does, though that isn’t one of the things they talk about in s3x ed. classes. And very disconcerting it is, too, until older female friends’n’relations explain the possible side effects of aging for females.
"For some women, they deflate get smaller. But there are some women that when you gain weight, your boobs grow, and other women that when you have children and you breastfeed your boobs grow and they don’t go back down, and then in some of the cases when you are in menopause, they grow again," she said. "I just happen to be one of those women that it happened in every single step! When I gain weight, when I got pregnant and when I am in menopause." At the rate they're growing, by the time she's seventy, she can stand in Saint Louis and her nipples will be in New Orleans. Wished The Other Hayek's ideas would grow as much

Uganda President Yoweri Museveni ...President-for-Life of Uganda. He assumed office in 1985. His primary virtue is being prefereable to both his predecessors, Idi Amin and Milton Obote... has appointed his son Muhoozi Kainerugaba the commander of land forces in the army.
It is the second time in six months that the Head of State is promoting his 48-year old son in the security institution.
Muhoozi previously served as head of the Special Forces Command (SFC), an elite guard that specializes in protecting the President and first family.
A laid-back guy in public but with a commanding posture who is known for posting warning messages towards Uganda's 'enemies' on Twitter, Muhoozi is seen by many as a candidate to succeed his father, should he elect to retire after being President for close to four decades.
His latest promotion comes days after Museveni also reappointed his wife the Minister for Sports and Education.
This coming after the 76-year old won the 2021 presidential elections after garnering 58 percent of all votes cast, according to the electoral commision.
In other announcements made on Thursday, June 24, 2021, Museveni, who is serving his sixth term five-year term, promoted Wilson Mbasu Mbadi to the rank of General and appointed him as the new Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), replacing Gen David Muhoozi who was recently appointed as the Minister of State for Internal Affairs.

[REGNUM] The Russian Ministry of Defense is creating a unified procedure for the actions of the Russian aviation in relation to foreign ships that have violated the Russian state border, the Izvestia newspaper reports on June 25, citing sources in the military department.
According to the publication, the new regulations are under consideration by the leadership of the Aerospace Forces and the Navy. The incident with a British destroyer in the Black Sea could speed up the adoption of new rules.
According to some reports, the set of weapons that should be used by combat aircraft against intruder ships may be revised. In particular, dropping bombs along the offender's course can be replaced by the use of unguided air-to-surface missiles.
The Russian military believes that provocations with an invasion of the territorial waters of the Russian Federation will become more frequent, but unguided rockets are enough to demonstrate serious intentions.
This takes into account the fact that in the event of a provocation, the task of destroying a foreign ship is not posed, and the impact of fire should only suppress its actions.
As reported by IA REGNUM , on June 23, the British destroyer URO HMS Defender invaded the territorial waters of Russia off the coast of Crimea. The border ship opened warning fire, but the intruder ignored it. [IsraelTimes] German politician says the move will send ’a clear signal to our Jewish citizens’ after several antisemitic pro-Paleostinian rallies in the country.
Germany’s Bundestag lower house of parliament passed a law on Friday outlawing symbols of groups designated as terrorist organizations by the EU, including the Paleostinian Islamist movement Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw,.
The new law, which must still be approved by the Bundesrat upper house, also outlaws symbols of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), listed as a terrorist group by The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... and its Western allies.
Previously, only symbols of organizations banned by Germany had been prohibited.
The move comes after several violent mostly peaceful and antisemitic pro-Paleostinian rallies were held in Germany during the flareup of violence between Israel and Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... in May.
Thorsten Frei, a politician for Chancellor Angela Merkel ...chancellor of Germany and the impetus behind Germany's remarkably ill-starred immigration program. Merkel used to be referred to by Germans as Mom. Now they make faces at her for inundating the country with Moslem colonists... ’s CDU, told Die Welt newspaper last week that the government wanted to ban the Hamas flag in response to the demonstrations.
"We do not want the flags of terrorist organizations to be waved on German soil," he said, adding that a ban would send "a clear signal to our Jewish citizens."
Germany saw several demonstrations during the 11 days of fighting between Israel and Hamas in May, with protesters shouting antisemitic slogans, burning Israeli flags and damaging the entrance to a synagogue with stones.
At one protest in Berlin, 59 people were arrested and dozens of coppers injured as protesters threw stones, bottles and fireworks.
The Central Council of Jews in Germany said it had received "a torrent of the most vile antisemitic insults" on social media.
Council President Josef Schuster urged the police to take a hard line against antisemitism and said the events had been "reminiscent of the darkest times in German history."
Interior Minister Horst Seehofer said Germany would crack down hard on anyone found to be spreading "antisemitic hatred."
"We will not tolerate Israeli flags burning on German soil and Jewish institutions being attacked," he told the Bild am Sonntag newspaper.

[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. I'm not working for you. Biden discussed the firm’s involvement in the Burisma saga in his memoir, Beautiful Things.

[Rudaw] Goats and sheep belonging to local farmers were killed when The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire... bombed the vicinity of two villages in Duhok province on Thursday afternoon, a local official has confirmed to Rudaw.
The Ottoman Turkish airforce struck an animal farm located between the villages of Mizhe and Spindar, with a local villager confirming there were no farmers or shepherds present at the time.
Peshmerga forces near the area prevented some villagers from visiting their land after the bombardment due to security reasons, Rudaw has learned.
"Since 5am, the areas between Mizhe and Spindar have been intensely bombarded four times by Ottoman Turkish planes," Ismail Mustafa, the mayor of the nearby town of Amedi, told Rudaw.
"There have not been any casualties from these two villages but people have been terrified because 30 families live in Mizhe, and there are 12 families in Spindar," he added.
The exact amount of damage caused by Thursday’s bombardment is currently unknown. A team will investigate the damage when security improves, according to Mustafa.
Footage submitted to Rudaw shows a dog being freed by villagers after it became trapped underground due to the bombardment.
The presence of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) fighters in these areas has led to Ottoman Turkish bombardments, preventing people from visiting their land "although they have to irrigate their farms," said Mustafa.
[Epoch Times] The Pennsylvania Senate on June 23 passed a bill that would amend the state constitution to require that voters present identification each time they cast a ballot.
The measure, SB735, passed in a 30—20 vote, mostly along partisan lines. The proposal was backed by all Republicans and a single Democrat.
Currently, state voters are only required to present identification the first time they vote at a polling station. The measure would require some form of verification every time a ballot is cast, including when voting by mail. It also proposes amending the voting age in the Pennsylvania Constitution from 21 to 18, making it consistent with the U.S. Constitution.
If both houses of the legislature approve a proposed amendment, or if it is adopted by a state constitutional convention, the measure is put on the ballot in a general election. If a majority of voters then approve, the state constitution is amended.

Needs to happen EVERYWHERE. Stop this insane third-world bullshit about absentee ballots, "curing," midnight vans stuffed with 000s of ballots marked 100% for one and only one candidate.
Enough of this primitive circus.

[NINANEWS] A security source announced the death of five members of the Federal Police south of Kirkuk.
The source said that ISIS terrorist gangs attacked a point belonging to the second regiment within the 20th Brigade of the Fifth Division, Federal Police, with direct fire with light and medium weapons, after which they were seen by the point and four mortar bombs were fired, where they fled, and after about half an hour the gangs returned, and the attack led to the death of five members of the aforementioned point, and the burning of a Humvee near the village of Shabija Saud, 45 km west of Daquq district, south of Kirkuk.
The source said the attack took place at about 11 PM on Thursday evening in the Wadi al-Hamamat area of Daquq district, where ISIS elements launched an attack on a federal police security point.
Rudaw English has reached out to federal police in Kirkuk but no one was immediately available for comment.
ISIS responded to the attack on its Telegram channel on Friday, saying their Lions of Islam killed one soldier and injured another west of Kirkuk late on Thursday by firing at them. They also claimed they destroyed a thermal camera.
When more police came to the aid of the targeted cop shoppe, the ISIS Lions of Islam set up a "trap" for them by attacking them with rifles and rockets, according to their announcement. The Lions of Islam also went kaboom! a previously-planted roadside kaboom targeting the security forces.
"This led to the destruction of a Hummer vehicle and damaged another one as well as the death of five fighters and the injuries of others," the bad boy group said on Telegram.
In its weekly al-Nabaa newspaper on Thursday, ISIS grabbed credit for 36 separate attacks in Iraq between June 17 and June 23, including 9 in Kirkuk.
[NINANEWS] The Federal Police Forces Command announced today, Friday, the seizure of RBG7 launchers and mortar bombs, during inspections in Kirkuk Governorate.
The command said in a statement, "A force from the 9th Brigade, the 3rd Federal Police Division, supported by the intelligence effort, carried out a wide search operation in Brij village in Hawija district of Kirkuk, ... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time... which resulted in the discovery of 3 RBG7 launchers and a 120mm mortar bomb."
The statement indicated that "a force from the division's tenth brigade began an inspection duty within the responsibility sector of the 1st regiment in Hawija district, during which two RBG7 launchers were found."
According to the statement, the Eleventh Brigade, the Third Division, carried out a security operation to search and inspect Mazhariya area in Hawija district, which resulted in the discovery of 4 mortar rounds of different types, and two SPG9 missiles, confirming that all materials were removed and destroyed by the engineering detachments.
[THEEPOCHTIMES] An on-duty patrol officer in Florida who was inspecting a "suspicious vehicle" Wednesday night was rushed to the hospital after the driver shot him in the head, a video of the incident shows.
The shooting prompted a county-wide lockdown and the Daytona Beach Police Department is offering a $100,000 reward "for anyone who can help authorities locate the man who shot one of our officers in the head," a statement from the agency reads.
Authorities have identified the suspect as Othal Wallace, a 29-year-old black male, who was behind the wheels of a gray 2016 Honda HRV with Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, tag 7TNX532 at the time of the inspection and shooting.
The Volusia County Sheriff’s Department said in a blurb Wallace is considered "armed & dangerous" and urges anyone with information on the suspect to contact 911 "immediately."
The identity of the maimed officer is currently withheld, but Daytona Beach Police Chief Jakari Young confirmed he is at the Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach.
"No change in the status of my hero who was shot in the line of duty last night," Young said on Twitter early on Thursday in the latest update. "He’s fighting while all of us are praying."
A separate blurb from the department reads the officer is out of surgery but remains at death's door.
Young told news hounds during a press briefing there are more than 500 coppers that have responded in the area and they are currently committed to doing everything they can to hunt down Wallace.
"I’m grateful for every agency that has responded over here tonight to help us because they are committed to staying out here until we have this coward in jug," the chief said.
In a 29-second clip from the incident, Wallace is seen on the body-camera video from the officer shooting at him shortly after he started a conversation, asking the suspect if he was living here. Update: Othal was found hiding in a treehouse in Atlanta. Someone left the irony on
Frank G’s link names the gentleman as Othal Toreyane Resheen Wallace, which is a dreadful thing to do to a brand new baby.

Surround him at a sparsely populated spot, point your cop-cams away from him and at random things, while one guy does a wakandan impression shouting stuff like 'I be killin' y'all!' etc. Target should be heard not seen. Make sure the action is in a blind spot for all cams. The lead shooter should have his cam's line of sight obscured by car roof or pillar, like he's shooting from cover. Everyone shouts 'Active misdemeanant... err, misdemeaming!' and other police inanities, while the target is perforated.
Now, wearing latex gloves, place an illegal gun [always have these handy] in his hand and fire some rounds into your own car. The team keeps mouthing nonsense about 'look for other shooters' and 'check if anybody's hurt!' and waving their chest cams around everywhere else.
Cops and ATF in other countries have similar routines like it, called 'encounter baazi [as in bachabaazi?]' or anti-forensics by some. Jointly developed by army and paramilitary to kill legally defended insurgents, and adapted by cops to great effect nowadays. But ours only had to contend with street CCTV [thank Gawd!]. I understand this might take some staging and prep, but cam-screwed cops should spend time evolving such tactics.

Evil is a possibility in us all. And nobody's a saint when you think of it. What separates people you can coexist with from people you cannot, is their willingness to respect some universal rights. Some cultures have no concept of such things, and instead glorify wanton cruelty, immorality and chaos. You know what these cultures are. They all bear resemblance.
Evil or no, if you identify as part of any community you will bear all its failings and curses. Which is why I favour individualism over group identities. But a society made of strong individuals would not need a bloated houseful of politicians, so those that wish to rule need to divide and label populations, divvy up their constituencies.
The community leaders of blacks have, for generations now, led them into propagating a rogue culture of revenge and robbery justified by bygone injustices. A culture America tolerates to it's own detriment because it absolutely worships words about equality and social justice written by great dead men.

/\ "Can African-American and American cultures coexist?".
There appears to be some evidence that adapting to Western culture is more difficult for some than for others. Amalgamation efforts continue (by a long list of other names of course), but evolution to civilization takes time, and the definition of civilization does vary. One could point to the Mesa Verde as somewhat related. Reservations are certainly out of the question. Urban holding pens reinforced by Critical Race Theory and entitlement appear to be the popular solutions.
[Breitbart] The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced on Friday that it filed a lawsuit against the State of Georgia over the state’s new voter integrity laws, which were signed in March.
The DOJ alleged the Election Integrity Act of 2021, also known as SB 202, was created for the purpose of "denying or abridging the right to vote on account of race." Attorney General Merrick Garland is pursuing action against the state by challenging provisions of the bill under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.
"The Justice Department’s lawsuit alleges that the cumulative and discriminatory effect of these laws—particularly on Black voters—was known to lawmakers and that lawmakers adopted the law despite this," The DOJ contented in a release.
The department specifically said it is challenging absentee ballot restrictions, reduction of drop boxes, and voter ID requirements, among other new provisions.
Notably, the lawsuit is one of the first actions taken by the newly minted Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke, who runs the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ. She became a controversial figure during her nomination after statements she made while attending Harvard as an undergraduate resurfaced. In a letter to the Harvard Crimson she claimed Black people are mentally and physically superior, Fox News reported. The Democrat-Communist Party refuses to wean from their racism bottle.
The Heritage Foundation debunked several Democrat myths surrounding Georgia’s new election laws in April, "which the radical left has falsely described as a voter suppression bill harkening to the era of Jim Crow," Breitbart News previously reported.
Additionally, polls show close to 80 percent of voters, including more than 60 percent of black voters, support voter ID.

"The Justice Department’s lawsuit alleges that the cumulative and discriminatory effect of these laws—particularly on Black voters—was known to lawmakers and that lawmakers adopted the law despite this,"
That's quite the bold statement. Completely false and defamatory, but bold nonetheless.

Complete joke. Every advanced nation requires ID. Nearly every nation bans absentee balloting outright and those who allow it require extremely stringent ID, verification and chain of custody.
No major nation tolerates the clownshow that Democrats have foisted on this nation's electoral process. What a fucking embarrassment

Of the first twenty RB articles listed today, each elucidates in some manner the madness that attends Islam.
Schadenfreude is a dreadful thing. So be discreet as we snicker about this situation Pakistan so richly deserves, dear Reader.
[NATION.PK] While keeping Pakistain on its grey list, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on Friday has given new six points action plan on anti-money laundering to Islamabad to address the strategic deficiencies.
The FATF has recognised Pakistain’s progress and efforts to address the Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) action plan items.
FATF has noted that since February 2021, Pakistain has made progress to complete two of the three remaining action items on demonstrating that effective, proportionate and dissuasive sanctions are imposed for TF convictions and that Pakistain’s targeted financial sanctions regime was being used effectively to target terrorist assets.
"Pakistain has now completed 26 of the 27 action items in its 2018 action plan. The FATF encourages Pakistain to continue to make progress to address as soon as possible the one remaining CFT-related item by demonstrating that TF investigations and prosecutions target big shots and commanders of UN designated terrorist groups," it added. Since June 2018, when Pakistain made a high-level political commitment to work with the FATF and APG to strengthen its AML/CFT regime and to address its strategic counter terrorist financing-related deficiencies,
Pakistain’s continued political commitment has led to significant progress across a comprehensive CFT action plan.
In response to additional deficiencies later identified in Pakistain’s 2019 APG Mutual Evaluation Report (MER), Pakistain has made progress to address a number of the recommended actions in the MER and provided further high-level commitment in June 2021 to address these strategic deficiencies pursuant to a new action plan that primarily focuses on combating money laundering.
Pakistain should continue to work to address its strategically important AML/CFT deficiencies, namely by: (1) enhancing international cooperation by amending the MLA law; (2) demonstrating that assistance is being sought from foreign countries in implementing UNSCR 1373 designations; (3) demonstrating that supervisors are conducting both on-site and off-site supervision commensurate with specific risks associated with DNFBPs, including applying appropriate sanctions where necessary; (4) demonstrating that proportionate and dissuasive sanctions are applied consistently to all legal persons and legal arrangements for non-compliance with beneficial ownership requirements; (5) demonstrating an increase in ML investigations and prosecutions and that proceeds of crime continue to be restrained and confiscated in line with Pakistain’s risk profile, including working with foreign counterparts to trace, freeze, and confiscate assets; and (6) demonstrating that DNFBPs are being monitored for compliance with proliferation financing requirements and that sanctions are being imposed for non-compliance.
27 percent of Oregonians support abolishing the police, according to a new poll. The formerly fringe view has gained mainstream support among the left in the blue state. https://t.co/1Qfm510NOG
