All very well and good (bad news for the Dinos, though) but still germane should one consider the seismic analysis performed to identify 'ripples' in a seabed 5000 ft deep.
Imagine what cave and tunnel structures can have been mapped from recent opportunistic (targeted?) explosions.

Considering that the Earth's surface is 75% water, it would follow that any random asteriod strike would also have a 75% chance of ocean effects.

Everybody knows this is happening. Everybody knows it's against the law. Technically, legally, Biden should be impeached and removed from office for it. But only Tucker will talk about it.

Consider the possibilities. What is to stop a president like Biden, who is so obviously willing to engage in illegal activities and has so far gotten away with it, from secretly and illegally conferring citizenship on these people? And then, how would a legitimate government ever be able to identify and deport them? He can then provide them with welfare, healthcare and education at our expense and they can then vote Democrat in red states that will then be turned blue. What is to stop Biden from using the military age invaders to form a clandestine army to be used at Biden's discretion for strictly extra-constitutional purposes?

Canadian Doctor Believes Two-Thirds of Vaccinated Could Die of Heart Failure
Canadian doctor Charles Hoffe believes that the mRNA vaccines manufacture microscopic blood clots in the capillaries of the vaccinated and at least 60 percent could eventually succumb to heart failure.
by Free West Media July 14, 2021
Canadian Doctor Believes Two-Thirds of Vaccinated Could Die of Heart Failure
Charles Hoffe, who practices medicine at Lytton British Columbia, explained: “We now know that only 25 percent of the ‘vaccine’ injected into a person’s arm actually stays in your arm. The other 75 percent is collected by your lymphatic system and literally fed into your circulation so these little packages of messenger RNA, and by the way in a single dose of Moderna ‘vaccine’ there are literally 40 trillion mRNA molecules.
“These packages are designed to be absorbed into your cells. But the only place they can be absorbed is around your blood vessels and the place where they are absorbed is the capillary networks – the tiniest blood vessels where the blood flow slows right down and where the genes are released.
Your body then gets to work reading and then manufacturing trillions and trillions of these spike proteins. Each gene can produce many, many spike proteins. The body then recognises these are foreign bodies so it makes antibodies against it so your are then protected against Covid. That’s the idea.”
But instead, the product becomes part of the cell wall of the vascular endothelium. “So it is absolutely inevitable that blood clots will form because your blood platelets circulate round your blood vessels, and the purpose of blood platelets is to identify damaged vessels and stop bleeding. So, when the platelet comes through the capillary it suddenly hits all these Covid spikes and it becomes absolutely inevitable that blood clots will form to block that vessel.”
A blood test called a D-dimer blood test, clearly revealed this disconcerting development.
“The blood clots we hear about which the media claim are very rare are the big blood clots which are the ones that cause strokes and show up on CT scans, MRI, etc. The clots I’m talking about are microscopic and too small to find on any scan. They can thus only be detected using the D-dimer test.”
In performing D-dimer tests on his mRNA jabbed patients, Hoffe discovered that at least 62 percent of them had these microscopic blood clots.
“These people have no idea they are even having these microscopic blood clots. The most alarming part of this is that there are some parts of the body like the brain, spinal cord, heart and lungs which cannot re-generate. When those tissues are damaged by blood clots they are permanently damaged.”
This causes Reduced Effort Tolerance (RET) due to the blood vessels in the lungs being blocked. As a result, the heart needs to work harder to compensate for the blocked vessels. The condition is known as pulmonary artery hypertension, which inevitably leads to heart failure.

# 2- I agree. Lifetime impairment and a shortened lifespan. Like having a team with three players on your side being three hundred pounds and the rest sickly 90 pounders. Autoimmune system permanently compromised. I compare it to an aids-HIV person.Symptoms(sound familiar)-"HIV will slowly and surely damage the immune system (the body's natural defense system against infections). This eventually makes people vulnerable to a wide range of health problems."

The nurse is an idiot. Please don’t post any more articles like this.
With regard to the micro-clots, how does this compare to other vaccines? How does this compare to the illness itself? I honestly don’t care how this vaccine compares
to no vaccine, as that is a different risk calculation — nothing is perfectly safe.
The chance of developing cerebral venous sinus thrombosis was nearly 10 times higher in the two weeks following a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection than after receiving an mRNA vaccine, a data analysis finds.

[AP] Johnson & Johnson said Wednesday that it is recalling five of its sunscreen products after some samples were found to contain low levels of benzene, a chemical that can cause cancer with repeated exposure.
The affected products, packaged in aerosol cans, are Aveeno Protect + Refresh aerosol sunscreen, and four Neutrogena sunscreen versions: Beach Defense aerosol sunscreen, CoolDry Sport aerosol sunscreen, Invisible Daily Defense aerosol sunscreen and UltraSheer aerosol sunscreen.
The recall includes all can sizes and all levels of sun protection factor, or SPF. The products were distributed nationwide through retailers.

The products simply are not selling. People just not sunbathing like they used to. Something about the harmful effects of exposure to the sun. The real money is in vaccines.

[Free Baeacon] Five years after calling on him to resign, Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe spoke at a fundraiser for a state lawmaker who served jail time in an underage sex case.
McAuliffe, who served as governor of Virginia from 2014 to 2018, threw his support behind Democratic state senator Joe Morrissey in 2019, five years after Morrissey, 63, was charged with having a sexual relationship with his then-17-year-old part-time receptionist.
McAuliffe initially called on Morrissey to resign as a state delegate after the conviction, calling the charges "disturbing." But five years later, McAuliffe flipped and campaigned for Morrissey after he won the Democratic primary for a state senate seat. McAuliffe's change of heart is raising questions about his political motivations—in 2019, he called on Virginia Democratic governor Ralph Northam to step down due to a blackface scandal but two years later said he was "honored" to accept Northam's endorsement.
"What I love about Joe is he will fight for you," said McAuliffe at a fundraiser event at Morrissey's home in 2019. "And the people most in need is the one he will fight for, and that's what I respect about Joe Morrissey."
Morrissey told the Washington Free Beacon that McAuliffe's initial call for him to resign in 2014 was "politically expedient" and noted that McAuliffe changed his tune only after Morrissey won the state senate primary and became an important figure for Democrats seeking to maintain a majority in the state house last year.
[Breitbart] CNN medical contributor Dr. Leana Wen said Friday that life needs to be "hard" for Americans who have not received a coronavirus vaccine with "twice weekly testings."
Wen, the former Planned Parenthood president, said, "So now we have this delta variant that is much more contagious. Because it’s more contagious, it’s going to be even harder for us to reach herd immunity. We’re going to have to vaccinate an even higher proportion of people to get there. What happens, then, if we end up having another variant developing that’s even more contagious, that could cause more disease, that could evade the protection of our immune system?"
She added, "So how quickly we can get this under control and which way we go depends on what we do now to overcome disinformation. What we really need to do at this point is make vaccination the easy choice. It needs to be hard for people to remain unvaccinated. Right now, it’s kind of the opposite. It’s fine. It’s easy if you’re unvaccinated. You can do anything you want to do anyway. At some point, these mandates by workplaces, by schools, I think it will be important to say, hey, if you want to opt-out, you have to sign these forms, get twice weekly testing. Basically, we want to make getting vaccinated the easy choice. That is what it’s going to take for us to actually end the pandemic."

[AlAhram] Secretary of State Antony Blinken had signed an earlier waiver and has extended it for 90 days as 'these repayment transactions can sometimes be time-consuming,' a State Department spokesperson said
The United States said Wednesday it was allowing Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... to use frozen funds to settle debts in South Korea and Japan, as talks drag on over reviving a nuclear deal that could see sanctions relief.
The United States maintains sweeping sanctions on the holy manal regime, meaning that companies that deal with many bank accounts in Iran can face legal penalties in the world's largest economy.
The State Department said that it has been letting Japanese and South Korean companies receive payments from US-targeted Iranian accounts to pay for exports shipped before former president Donald Trump ...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party... 's administration started enforcing its toughest sanctions in 2019.
"To be clear: The waiver does not allow for the transfer of any funds to Iran."
The spokesperson said the goal of the waiver was to satisfy companies in Japan and South Korea, saluting the allies' "steadfast support for all US and UN sanctions."
South Korea and to a lesser extent Japan, both major tech exporters, hold billions of dollars in assets from Iran that have been stuck since Trump's sanctions.
South Korea said in April that it had resolved a dispute over $7 billion blocked from Iran but had been waiting for the US green light.
Japan, South Korea and other US partners, notably India, begrudgingly stopped buying oil from Iran after Trump imposed a unilateral embargo with threats to punish anyone who buys from Tehran.
Trump had vowed to bring Iran to its knees through maximum pressure after he walked out of an agreement negotiated by his predecessor Barack Obama How much damage could he do in four years?... The NAACP hasn't endorsed him every time he's run.... favors returning to the 2015 accord, arguing that it was working and peacefully addressed a major security concern.
But EU-brokered indirect talks in Vienna have not yielded a breakthrough as Iran insists on an end to all sanctions, including measures taken over non-nuclear issues.
[AlAhram] European governments increasingly rely on and support North African countries with fewer resources to handle search and rescue operations
The number of migrants colonists and refugees who died while attempting to reach Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... on dangerous sea crossings more than doubled so far this year compared to the first six months of 2020, the United Nations ...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships... ' migration agency said in a new report.
At least 1,146 people perished between January and June, according to the International Organization for Migration. The number of people traveling on sea routes to Europe also increased, but only by 56%, the IOM's report said.
The Central Mediterranean route between Libya and Italia was the deadliest, claiming 741 lives. Next was the stretch of the Atlantic Ocean between West Africa and Spain's Canary Islands, where at least 250 people died, the agency said. At least 149 people also died on the Western Mediterranean route to Spain, as well as at least six on the Eastern Mediterranean route to Greece.
The IOM says the actual number of deaths on sea routes to Europe may be far higher as many shipwrecks go unreported and others are hard to verify.
European governments increasingly rely on and support North African countries with fewer resources to handle search and rescue operations.
Tunisia increased such operations by 90% in the first six months of 2021, while Libyan authorities intercepted and returned more than 15,000 men, women and kiddies to the war-torn country, three times more people than in the same period last year, the IOM report said.
Meanwhile, ...back at the palazzo, Count Guido had been cornered by the banditti... Italian authorities increasingly targeted charity rescue ships that have worked over the years to fill the void left by European governments, routinely detaining the vessels operated by nongovernmental organizations for months, sometimes years.
While many factors contributed to this year's higher corpse count, including an increase in the number of flimsy boats attempting sea crossings, ``the absence of proactive, European, state-led search and rescue operations in international waters combined with restrictions on NGOs'' was among the main factors, IOM spokesperson Safa Msehli said.
``These people cannot be abandoned in such a dangerous journey,'' Msehli told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named.
Italia detained nine NGO-operated ships so far this year, according to Matteo Villa, a research fellow for the independent think thank ISPI, who tracks data and statistics on migration.
Mediterranean countries such as Italia, Malta, Spain and Greece have repeatedly asked other European countries for help caring for the people who are rescued and brought to their shores.
Last year, when pandemic restrictions made it hard to move between countries, the number of refugees and migrants colonists arriving in Europe by sea dropped to its lowest level since 2015. That year, 1 million reached Europe, many of them refugees fleeing the war in Syria.

[AlAhram] Rouhani's remark is his second such public comment this year about 90% enrichment - a level suitable for a nuclear bomb - underlining Iran's resolve to keep breaching the deal in the absence of any accord to revive it

[IsraelTimes] Army says roughly 30 detained outside Turmus Aya are members of Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", student faction at Birzeit University and include individuals directly involved in terrorist activity.
The IDF said it arrested dozens of Hamas activists Wednesday after they paid a solidarity visit to the West Bank village of a Paleostinian man accused of killing an Israeli student.
In a joint operation with Border Police and the Shin Bet security service, Israeli security forces raided two buses full of Paleostinian university students as they were making their way out of Turmus Ayya. The students taken into custody had visited the home of Montasir Shalabi, which the IDF demolished last week as part of its controversial policy aimed at deterring future attacks.
The suspects were part of Hamas’s student faction at Birzeit University, the IDF said in a statement, adding that "some of the arrested activists were directly involved in terrorist activities, which included money transfers, incitement and the organization of Hamas activities in the West Bank."
The IDF did not specify how many suspects it had detained, but Hebrew media said that roughly half of the 60 students on board the buses had been brought in for questioning.
An invitation for Wednesday’s student event posted on social media read, "The Hamas student faction at Birzeit University invites you to attend a visit to the family of the heroic prisoner Montasir Shalabi, who carried out the heroic [attack] at the [Tapuah Junction]."
Shalabi has been charged with killing Yehuda Guetta, 19, at the Tapuah Junction in the northern West Bank on May 2. The shooting attack also injured two other Israeli teenagers, one of them seriously.
The 44-year-old is suspected of driving to the northern West Bank’s Tapuah Junction and opening fire at the group of Israeli students from a yeshiva in the nearby Itamar settlement.
The father of seven was eventually arrested following a three-day manhunt, an hour after Guetta departed this vale of tears.
Shalabi is a dual US-Paleostinian citizen, and senior US officials reached out to their Israeli counterparts imploring them not to move forward with the demolition of his home on the grounds that the alleged attacker’s family should not have to pay for the actions of their father and husband. But the IDF went forward with the razing, angering the Biden administration (aka the Wilmington comorra) ...knaves, footpads, and adjusters employed by the Biden Crime Family. They leave a trail of havoc everywhere they turn their attention, be it the nation's borders, the Keystone XL Pipeline, or epidemics, sometimes on purpose, most times through sheer arrogant ineptitude. They learnt this stuff in college, you know... , which vowed to continue voicing its objections over the matter.
The Axios news site reported Wednesday that the move led House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Gregory Meeks to phone Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, chastising Jerusalem for the demolition, which took place while the US politician was in Israel leading a congressional delegation.

[AnNahar] The Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... do not want to battle government forces inside Afghanistan's cities, a senior holy warrior leader said Tuesday, as the snuffies also warned The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... against extending its troop presence.
The Lions of Islam have swept through much of northern Afghanistan in recent weeks, and the government now holds little more than a constellation of picturesque provincial capitals that must largely be reinforced and resupplied by air.
On Tuesday, the head of a Taliban commission that oversees government forces who surrender to the Lions of Islam urged the residents of cities to reach out to them.
"Now that the fighting from mountains and deserts has reached the doors of the cities, Mujahiddin don't want fighting inside the city," Amir Khan Muttaqi said in a message tweeted by a Taliban front man, using another term for the group.
"It is better... to use any possible channel to get in touch with our invitation and guidance commission," he said, adding this would "prevent their cities from getting damaged".
The strategy is one well-worn by the Taliban -- particularly during their first rise to power in the 1990s -- cutting off towns and district centers and getting elders to negotiate a surrender.
In a separate statement Tuesday, the Taliban said Turkey's decision to provide security to Kabul airport when U.S.-led forces leave was "reprehensible."
"We consider stay of foreign forces in our homeland by any country under whatever pretext as occupation," the group said, days after Ankara agreed with Washington to provide security for Kabul airport.

as the article says, back in the 90s, the city elders surrendered to the Taliban
what the article doesn't say is that some of the elders ended up ingratiating themselves and did OK under Taliban rule but a lot of the elders were killed or tortured or lost family

[MinDefenseArmenia] At dawn on July 14, in foggy conditions, while performing official duties with a military vehicle, contact was lost with Aramayis Torozyan, a driver of Arthur Nalbandyan, a serviceman of the RA Armed Forces N military unit located in the south-eastern direction of the Republic of Armenia.
Search and rescue operations were launched immediately, but have not yielded results yet.
Through the mediation of the Russian side, the incident is being discussed with the representatives of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
The possibility exists that Torozyan will appear in the Azerbaijani territory.
Let us add that Arthur Nalbandyan and Aramayis Torozyan were unarmed.

Rouda’s comments were made at a town hall hosted by the Laguna Beach Democratic Club, Fox News reported.
During his remarks, Rouda said, "Trump being at the top of the ticket" in 2020 was one of the reasons he lost his House seat, according to an "audit" he did.
He went on to say that "The fact that six million more ’morons’ voted for this man, is mind-boggling to me," but he noted, "Thank goodness about 11 more million Americans voted for [President] Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier... Rouda also blamed Democrat "low-propensity, uninformed voters who came out and voted for Trump and the down the ticket." He said that "impacted" him.
He continued, "When you look at this district, it was 89 percent turnout. So 89 percent of the registered voters voted."

Psychology
(from da internet somewhere just now) Moron is a term once used in psychology and psychiatry to denote mild intellectual disability. The term was closely tied with the American eugenics movement. Once the term became popularized, it fell out of use by the psychological community, as it was used more commonly as an insult than as a psychological term. It is similar to imbecile and idiot.

[REGNUM] During the military operation in Syria, the Russian military tested more than 320 types of various weapons, including helicopters, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at a meeting with the labor collective of the Rostvertol company.
"We have checked more than 320 types of different weapons, including, by the way, your helicopters," said Shoigu.
"One of the helicopters that we saw today is the result of the Syrian operation," he added.

It's starting to bear a disturbing resemblance from the "Down-with-EVERYBODY" rants of the 50s and 60s. China's faith in Russia is poorly placed. All countries that border China have a healthy dislike of China. Border disputes with all. Currently China has several serious problems to deal with internally. Talk is cheap and China's talk is very cheap.
[KhaamaPress] Pakistain’s National Security Advisor Moeed Yusuf has said that Pakistain is not in position to let in more refugees from Afghanistan as violence in the war-battered country is deteriorating.
As war between the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... and Afghan government Forces is in its worst stance ever in the past 20 years and the Taliban fighters are widening their territory on daily bases, fears from another flow of Afghan refugees similarly increase in the region particularly in Pakistain.
NSA of Pakistain Moeed Yusuf in his interview with VOA said that the country is willing but is not in position to accept more asylum seekers from Afghanistan. Yusuf asked International Forces and United Nations ...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks... to step in and make arrangements for the Afghan people inside Afghanistan.
He also recommended that in such situation the United Nations High Council for Refugees, UNHCR, should set up camps for Afghan refugees on the Afghan border sides.
Earlier, Pakistain’s foreign affairs minister Shah Mahmoud Quraishi had also expressed concern that not only Pakistain but Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. Iranian officials have not yet expressed their remarks over potential flood of Afghan refugees.
As per UN, there are currently close to 3 million Afghan refugees living in Pakistain since 1980s. Half of them are unregistered.
[OneIndia] The National Investigation Agency has arrested three operatives of the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... in connection with the ISIS Voice of Hind case. The arrested have been identified as Umar Nisar, Tanveer Ahmad Bhat and Rameez Ahmad Lone all residents of Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... The NIA had unearthed a conspiracy of the IISIS to radicalise and recruit impressionable youth in India to wage violent mostly peaceful jihad against the Indian State. ISIS forces of Evil operating from various conflict zones along with ISIS cadres in India, by assuming pseudo- online identities, have created a network wherein ISIS related propaganda material is disseminated for radicalising and recruiting members to the fold of ISIS. In this connection an India-Centric online propaganda magazine 'the Voice of Hind' (VOH) is published on monthly basis with an aim to incite and radicalise impressionable youth.
The operatives of the Islamic State had organised a campaign in cyber space to further terror activities on the ground in Jammu and Kashmir, investigations by the National Investigation found.
ISIS forces of Evil operating from various conflict zones along with the cadres in India assumed pseudo online identities and created a network, the NIA said. Further the agency said that an India centric online propaganda magazine Voice of Hind was published on a monthly basis.
The aim of the magazine was to incite and radicalise impressionable youth by projecting a a skewed narrative of imagined injustices in India to arouse a feeling of alienation and communal hatred. During the searches the NIA seized a large number of incriminating documents and digital devices such as mobile phones, tablets, laptop , hard disks and T-Shirts having ISIS logo.

Akhilesh Yadav reportedly said that he does not trust the state police. The comments are said to have been made after the arrest of two Lions of Islam in UP. Yadav said that he cannot trust the UP police and especially the BJP government. His party however said that an edited clip is in circulation.

[OneIndia] Buckling under pressure from their Hindu community members, parents of a 28-year-old woman in Maharashtra's Nashik district have called off her marriage ceremony with a Moslem man, sources said.
In a letter to the community body, the woman's father, a jeweller, said they decided not to go ahead with the July 18 wedding ceremony due to the 'present situation', referring to the protests on social media after the wedding invitation card went viral.
He said his daughter and the man had a registered marriage in May. "However, there's no worse danger than telling a mother her baby is ugly... due to the present situation, I can't say if they will stay together," he said, adding his daughter is staying with her parents since the marriage registration. The woman was scheduled to tie the nuptial knot as per Hindu rituals. The online protesters had described the upcoming wedding ceremony as a case of 'love jihad'.
Love jihad only was made illegal in India at the end of 2020, in the vain hope of curtailing the industry of training physically attractive, superficially charming Muslim men for the purpose of luring husbandless Hindu girls into marriage in order to reduce the number of wombs available to the Hindu majority. But the Muslim community pays well for the work, and for a certain kind of man the benefits are palpable, so it isn’t likely to stop until the punishment is extended beyond merely cancelling weddings and returning the girls to their families.
A member of the woman's community said the man was her private tutor a few years ago and that was how they got to know each other. The registered marriage did not evoke any harsh reaction within the community but the family came under a lot of pressure after the invitation card of the wedding ceremony went viral on social media, a community member said.
Social media posts and messages related to the marriage ceremony were widely circulated on WhatsApp groups and the woman's family members also received telephonic threats, he said.
The woman's father, who is an office-bearer of the community body, consulted family members after the stiff opposition on social media and decided to call off the wedding ceremony, he said.
"The woman's father has informed us through a letter that he is calling off the marriage ceremony of his daughter due to certain circumstances," said Sunil Mahalkar, president of Sant Narhari Maharaj Lad Suvarnakar Sanstha, Nashik.
The decision to call off the wedding ceremony was also circulated on WhatsApp, with community members thanking various 'suvarnakar' (jewellers) community organizations and also the OBC Andolan Samiti, Vishwa Hindu Gay Pareehad, Bajrang Dal and Hindu Ekta Manch.
[NYPOST] It’s beginning to look like going soft on crime — especially juvenile crime — wasn’t such a hot idea. Is it time to reform New York’s "reforms"? Obviously, it is.
And a reasonable place to begin is with those concerning children who bear adult arms — and who use them with deadly abandon.
The problem is stark and clear, the most recent example being three murders in The Bronx — teenagers killed by other teenagers in what police say were gang-related tit-for-tat shootings of a sort not seen regularly in New York since the ’90s.
That is, not since the last time New York grew tired of the bloody consequences of lax law enforcement and concentrated its prodigious energies on protecting all of its citizens.
The results were spectacular — a city so secure that over time safe streets came to be seen as nature’s way. But complacency set in; activists and their apologists chipped away the policies and practices keeping criminals at bay — and then the dominos began to fall.
Perhaps most relevant right now, and among the most corrosive, is the 2017 "Raise the Age" law, a statute strongly backed by Gov. Cuomo that reset the age of criminal responsibility in New York from 16 to 18.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Models again? At least they won’t grow actual hair on their palms from playing with those.
MIT used a world simulation model to learn how our world would fare from 1972 to 2060
The model looked at a number of factors such as population, industrial output and persistent pollution, and found a societal collapse could happen by 2040
The research was criticized at the time, but an accounting firm analysis took another look at MIT's data and found their stark prediction was correct
The recent work shows our business-as-usual mentality will spark a decline of economic growth within the next decade, but a total collapse by 2040

If you read the headlines on today's Rantburg, one would think 2040 would be a best case scenario. Try 2030.

Say you are an Uber level Elitist with lots $$$$$.
What steps would you take to ensure you and yours continue to be in control?
Maybe? Like buying massive amounts of land with rivers for mini hydro-power plants, in northwestern/ mid-western states. Then setting up enclaves (principalities) in remote but well armed controllable locations?
Whom has been doing that a lot in the last 20 years?

[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] Jacob Zuma's son has urged looters to 'do so responsibly' and called for his father to be freed after South Africa's lawlessness entered its sixth consecutive day amid fears of a 'humanitarian crisis' with food, fuel and Covid medicine shortages.
The former president was locked up last Friday for failing to appear in court on corruption charges, prompting riots and looting across the country, with police forces totally absent or in some cases, officers participating.
Duduzane Zuma took to Instagram to call for his father to be freed and the Covid lockdown to end, claiming that with troops now deployed the country was 'just one massacre away from a complete spiralling out of control.'
'For the people that are protesting and looting, please do so carefully and please do so responsibly. Because you cannot hold people responsible for defending what they love,' Zuma said.
The 37-year-old, who has his own ambitions to run the country, said that 'finger pointing' was not going to help because the government must 'feed the poor people that are looting' as he blamed lockdown-fuelled economic inequity for the chaos.
But the raging unrest has lost any sense of its loose political origins, descending into wanton lawlessness, including gang shoot-outs in the streets, people queuing up with cars to loot warehouses and malls, and wealthy Indian and white South Africans forced to take up arms to protect their homes.
A 13-year-old boy was rubbed out at a mall outside Johannesburg on Wednesday during skirmishes between vigilante taxi drivers and looters.
And two coppers were caught on camera with their cars packed full of allegedly looted household supplies and even a flat-screen television.
Now President Cyril Ramaphosa has promised to call up more soldiers after deploying 2,500 troops to bolster overrun police forces in in Johannesburg and Durban. But rioting has also spread to Mpumalanga, Northern Cape and Soweto.
[CHICAGO.SUNTIMES] At least five people were maimed in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in Gresham on the South Side, hours after five people were shot on the West Side.
The group was on a sidewalk near a food mart at 79th and Justine streets when a silver car pulled out of an alley and three button men got out shortly after noon, reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... police spokeswoman Michelle Tannehill said.
The trio opened fire, striking four men and a woman, she said.
Two of the victims were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn: A 27-year-old woman grazed in the hip and in good condition, and a 40-year-old man shot in the face and at death's door.
Two others were taken to University of Chicago Medical Center: A 32-year-old man shot in the lower back and listed at death's door, and a 50-year-old man shot in the side and also at death's door.
A fifth person, a 36-year-old man, was shot in the ankle and initially refused treatment on the scene, but he later went to Christ Medical Center and was listed in good condition,
The shooting occurred across the street from the Target DevCorp Auburn Gresham Community Outreach Center, an anti-violence organization.
Autry Phillips, executive director of Target DevCorp, said his team was just starting their shift when the shooting happened.
He said the spot where the people were shot is a "hangout for individuals that don’t work or that’s off work and just needed to blow off some steam so they’re coming outside. It’s a nice day, why not come outside and hang out on the block?"
He said the victims are not gang members and were not hurting anyone. "Unfortunately someone made the decision to pull the trigger," he said.
Phillips said his team was now working in the community to prevent any retaliation. "What we try to do first is to try to make sure the families are okay."
Phillips said it was troubling that the shooting happened so close to his organization, but added that these attacks can happen anywhere in the city. "At any time at any place, anyone in Chicago can get hit" he said. "We have shootings that’s next to the Chicago Police Department, we have shootings that’s next to schools."
Earlier Wednesday, four women and a man were shot as they stood in the 4600 block of West Monroe Street in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, police said. The victims, all between ages 18 and 34, were listed in good condition.

[NYPOST] For Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. The very model of probity.... , it’s "the most significant test of our democracy since the Civil War. That’s not hyperbole, since the Civil War."Good God! What insurrection or secession is he talking about? What threat to our union?!
Turns out it’s voting laws.
Sorry, Joe, that’s the very definition of hyperbole. The Democrats, who, as a pandemic safety measure, introduced universal mail-in voting without either ID or even asking for a ballot, now say that any change or restriction to that system is literally the confederates attacking Fort Sumter.
In Texas, the proposed law would set hours for early voting, require voters to request an absentee ballot and then write in their driver’s license number or other identification, and set rules for poll watchers. Rather than vote for it, Texas Democrats fled to DC and sang "We shall overcome."
When Oregon Republicans pulled such a stunt in 2019, Vox said they were "subverting democracy." When the Texas Democrats did it, Vice President Kámala Harris Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's former mistress, then a senatrix from California, and then a former 2020 Dem presidential hopeful. She dropped out because she was polling in negative numbers because of racism. Her father is a Marxist professor emeritus at Stanford and her mother is an Indian of the Hindoo tribe. She is reputedly the proud descendant of a long line of women. Joe Biden picked her for her skin tone, feeling she could also bring in the Native American, women's, and bimbo votes. She's an outstanding exemplar of the Peter Principle, proudly displaying her level of competence in her handling of the Biden Border Surge called it "as American as apple pie."
This is a common refrain. When Democrats change the voting laws, draw the Congressional districts, restrict who can even get on the ballot (looking at you, New York Democratic Machine), or use the filibuster it’s just democracy in action. When Republicans do it, it’s apocalypse now.
These laws will pass, the Republic will stand. But as with his other overwrought warnings of doom, President Joe Biden ...... 46th president of the U.S., father of Hunter...... will prove again that he’s not to be taken seriously.

Sure, but it’s Russian manufacturing. Better than Chinese, no doubt, but even so.
Yeah, well, while defense contractors and the military are so worried about the past enslavement of Negros, Russian operatives will be walking off with trade secrets.
[TASS] Russia is outpacing many of the world’s advanced armies in developing new armaments with much lesser defense spending, Deputy Secretary of Russia’s Security Council Mikhail Popov said in an interview with the government’s Rossiyskaya Gazeta daily on Wednesday.
This has been largely achieved through the implementation of the previous version of the national security strategy that was effective from December 31, 2015, the security official said.
On July 3, Russia’s new version of the national security strategy was published and a decree on its approval was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"The state’s defense capability that guarantees Russia’s reliable protection from an entire range of military threats is the basic result of the work that has been carried out. Advanced armaments and military hardware are arriving for the troops in a planned manner," Popov said.
"The latest strategic missile systems are on combat alert and the number of strike aircraft with Kinzhal hypersonic missiles as well as warships outfitted with long-range precision weapons is growing. We are also outpacing many advanced armies of the world in developing new armaments with a far smaller defense budget," the security official pointed out.
"The Russian Armed Forces are "combat-ready, mobile, modern, compact and capable of coping with their assigned tasks in any conditions," he said.
This was proven by the Russian air taskforce in Syria and Russia’s peacekeeping operation in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict zone," he specified.
Throughout the duration of the previous version of its national security strategy, Russia managed to achieve basic strategic goals in its national defense, such as strategic deterrence and the prevention of military conflicts. Also, the country’s mobilization readiness was boosted, along with the preparedness of the civil defense forces and capabilities, the deputy secretary of Russia’s Security Council said.
"These tasks were addressed in the process of implementing Russia’s military doctrine and defense plan for 2016-2020, and other military planning documents amid the restrictions imposed to fight the novel coronavirus pandemic," the security official explained.

Sure, but it’s Russian manufacturing. Better than Chinese, no doubt, but even so.
The other way around. Chinese manufacturing is based on the western model and have access to higher tech than the Russians. Chinese do have weaknesses like engine manufacture but they have the money to make mistakes and keep improving.
[NYPOST] REvil, the Russia-linked cyber gang blamed earlier this month for a massive ransomware attack that affected hundreds of businesses globally, has vanished from the web.
As of Tuesday morning, the group's public website, the dark-web site the gang used to facilitate its ransom negotiations and the site that victims used to pay the ransom fees were all offline, multiple cybersecurity analysts said.
It's not clear what led to the Russia-linked ransomware-as-a-service group's websites going dark. But the sudden outage came just days after President Joe Biden ...... 46th president of the U.S. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier...... said he pressed Russian President Vladimir Putin ...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances... to act against hackers that are operating from Russia.
"I made it very clear to him that the United States expects when a ransomware operation is coming from his soil, even though it's not sponsored by the state, we expect him to act," Biden told news hounds last week after a call with Putin.
Ransomware attacks, often orchestrated by Eastern European hacking groups, have surged over the past 18 months as the pandemic and work-from-home accommodations have made businesses especially vulnerable to cybercrime.
[ToloNews] The Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... on Tuesday night launched an assault on Spin Boldak district in the southern province of Kandahar and captured the Spin Boldak crossing along the Durand Line, local sources in the province said on Thursday. The Durand Line serves as a de facto border with Pakistain.
Sources stated that fierce battles were also reported in the PD6, PD7 and PD8 areas of Kandahar city including Kandahar’s Arghandab province. Reports say that at least 11 non-combatants were killed and 41 others were maimed as a result of the fighting.
All victims were transferred to Mirwais Hospital in Kandahar city.
20 out of 34 provinces saw fighting in the past 24 hours. The Taliban also launched attacks on Ghazni city and Lashkargah city in the center of Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... province in southern Afghanistan.
"There is heavy fighting in Spin Boldak, only a few parts of the district remain, all checkpoints have collapsed," said Qudratullah, a resident in Spin Boldak.
"Kandahar city has faced lots of damage due to security issues, many people were displaced from their homes," said Niaz Mohammad, a resident in Kandahar.
There are also reports that a girls school was torched in the Haidar Abad area of Ghazni city. The Taliban has rejected involvement.
"We witnessed the torching of the school in Haidar Abad which is only 3 kilometers away from the governor’s office, this situation is not bearable to the people of Ghazni," said Naseer Faqiri, the head of Ghazni's provincial council.
In Baghlan province local people have taken arms in support of Afghan cops to fight the Taliban.
Fighting was also reported in Kunduz province.
"Fighting was going on in the road leading to Imam Sahib district and in the outskirts of Kunduz city," said Mohammad Yousuf Ayoubi, the head of the Kunduz provincial council.
Meanwhile, ...back at the Council of Boskone, Helmuth had turned a paler shade of blue. Star-A-Star had struck again... the Afghan security agencies said that soon the security situation in the country will change. They also said that the Afghan cops have been inflicting major casualties on the Taliban on the battlefield.
"1369 (Taliban) fighters were killed during recent operations including their key commanders and intelligence officials," said Ajmal Omar Shinwari, a front man to ANDSF.
That sounds like someone is working up to piles of skulls.
The Taliban also claimed to have downed an Afghan Air Force plane in Kunduz province. But the Afghan government has denied the claims.
[ToloNews] An Afghan police officer, Ahmad Shah, fought the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... alone for 18 hours in the southern province of Kandahar and said that the Taliban are undertaking a massive propaganda campaign about the military offensives to demoralize the Afghan cops.
We discussed this here yesterday.
Ahmad Shah and 14 other coppers were deployed at a checkpoint in the suburbs of Kandahar city when the Taliban attacked them. Ahmad Shah, who was maimed, did not surrender and resisted the Taliban for 18 hours.
Ahmad Shah was rescued after reinforcements were sent to the area. He is now in stable, pH balanced condition.
"I did not surrender, I did not lay down my arms and I fought back," said Ahmad Shah.
Ahmad Shah says that war needs determination and firmness for victory to be achieved.
"The enemy is very weak. They want to frighten us through their propaganda. I learned that no one should fear the enemy in real life," added Ahmad Shah.
"Afghanistan is a sovereign country, it has an independent army and a sovereign system, it has a Constitution, we are the guardians of the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Afghanistan," said Fazel Mohammad Daudzai, a member of the Afghan Special Forces ...established in 2007 with the intent of taking one conventional infantry kandak (battalion) from each of the regional ANA corps, giving them special training and equipment, and reorganizing based on the U.S. Army Rangers. Each battalion is assigned to one of the six regional corps. The commandos comprise 7% of the Afghan National Security Forces but conduct 70% to 80% of the fighting... The Taliban launched their onslaught on Kandahar city two weeks ago.
The Afghan National Security and Defense Forces (ANDSF) launched a series of anti-Taliban operations in response.

"There is heavy fighting in Spin Boldak, only a few parts of the district remain, all checkpoints have collapsed," said Qudratullah, a resident in Spin Boldak.
I may be mistaken, but this appears to be a Pashtun name. The Pashtuns are the core of the Taliban. Asking the Pashtuns about the progress of the war is like asking a black South African whether the ANC should be in charge.
I don't think non-Pashtuns are fighting for honor. They're fighting for their lives. The quick way to end the Taliban would have been to slaughter the Pashtuns and push them into Pakistan. The problem is what happens when we leave and the Pakistanis send the Pashtuns back over the border, this time with Pakistani regulars backing them up. Pakistan has 200m people. Afghanistan has 40m. Anyhow, Strategypage suggests that the Taliban are staging what amounts to a Mazar-e-Sharif-style pogrom:
So far this year civilian deaths are up 40 percent compared to 2020. Most of the increase comes from the Taliban policy of killing non-Pushtun civilians while offering Pushtun civilians the option of surrendering without violence. This is the custom in Afghanistan and characterized the unfinished civil war that ended in 2001 when the Americans intervened on the side of the largely non-Pushtun Northern Alliance. The Taliban are confident it will be different this time, because they have more drug money and access to Pakistan for illegal import items and access to the outside world.
I respect Strategypage, but disagree that Taliban drug money can match Uncle Sam's $400m a month. Not to mention the huge amounts of cached equipment and ammo that are the fruits of 20 years of salting away by each of the provincial warlords. We talk about corruption like it's this great evil.
In Afghanistan, if you're not corrupt, you're the patsy. When push comes to shove, you'll be pushed off the podium because you have no army of your own and no weaponry. Don't think of these people as citizens in a nation state where the government gives everyone a fair shake.
Think of these warlords as barons under King John. When he comes for you, you'd better have a big enough army to kick his ass back to where he came from, because he will take everything you own unless you stop him.
[NYPOST] Team Biden seems determined to dismantle all its predecessor’s policies — even those that promised to transform the dysfunctional Middle East for the better. The White House "suspended the Abraham Fund indefinitely," Israeli financial paper Globes reported last week, citing US and Israeli sources. The public-private partnership was established last year after Israel signed the US-brokered Abraham Accords with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, the first peace deals between the Jewish state and Arab nations in decades.
The Trump administration called the Abraham Fund "an integral part" of the peace deals; it would "mobilize more than $3 billion in private-sector-led investment" to demonstrate "the benefits of peace by improving the lives of the region’s peoples." It was opened to Morocco and Sudan when they joined the accords too.
It was smart diplomacy: The fund would nurture more peace deals as it showed how Arab-Israeli cooperation brought prosperity all over the Middle East.

[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Ubax Gardheere, the embattled progressive county council candidate, who threatened to blow up a school bus filled with children, has been endorsed by a radical activist transit union whose logo is ironically, a bus.
The Transit Riders Union (TRU) is well known in Seattle for being activist foot soldiers for radical causes and Marxist candidates like Seattle Councilmember Kshama Sawant ...Socialist Seattle city council member who has difficulty distinguishing between her money and the city's... The TRU announced the endorsement after national attention was brought to Gaardheer’s past, and a video of the incident itself, published by The Post Millennial went viral.
[KhaamaPress] Chinese foreign ministry was shocked by the incident in Pakistain and called it an attack on Chinese citizens in which 13 people were killed among them nine Chinese.
Spokesman of china’s foreign ministry Zhao Lijian has asked Pakistain to go into the depth of the issue.
Officials in northwestern Pakistain said that the bus carrying Pak and Chinese construction workers fell into a ravine on Wednesday which killed at least 13 people.
Authorities in Pakistain though said that the alleged incident is under investigation but the Chinese embassy based in Islamabad said that the bus was attacked.
Assistant commissioner in Kohistan ...a backwoods district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa distinguished by being even more rustic than is the norm among the local Pashtuns.... of Pakistain said authorities believe the incident was an accident but investigations over alleged explosives in the bus are underway.
”We don’t want none o’them furriners round here, with their soft living and their unbelieving ways.”
“I know, Abudullah — let’s kaboom ‘em til they go away!”
The cause of the incident is not yet clarified but state officials in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa said it will soon be briefed to the media.
Chinese engineers are working along with Pak workers on building a hydroelectric dam in eastern Pakistain, Kohistan.
China is the biggest economic ally of Pakistain which has implemented major economic projects including China-Pakistain CPEC.

Maybe this makes me a bad person but, upon reading this headline, the corners of my mouth curled into something resembling a smirk.
[OneIndia] A top commander of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba and two of his accomplices have been bumped off in an encounter in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. The Kashmir zone police said that the commander, Abu Huraira has been killed along with 2 local terrorist. Following information about the presence of murderous Moslems in the area, a cordon and search operation was launched by the police.
The operation turned into an encounter after the murderous Moslems opened fire on the security forces. Incriminating material including arms and ammunition have been recovered from the site of the encounter, an official said.
In June, the Kashmir police had appealed to all the misguided youth who joined the terror ranks to shun the path of violence and return to the mainstream. The police said that they were committed to accept them with open arms as society needs the most especially their parents.

Abu Huraira AKA Aijaz was Pakistani - a recruiter and trainer of jihad fodder. The others were Javed Ahmad Rather and Shahnawaz Ghani, fodder from Kashmir.
It was humint from one of the relatives of Javed Ahmad that allowed security forces to zero in on their base.

Please pass on our congratulations for a job well done, Dron. Not least for cultivating creating an atmosphere in which the relative felt comfortable calling the police on the family disgrace.

According to the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs and the Rantburg archives, Gaza’s Army of Islam (Jaish al-Islam) — as opposed to the one in Syria — is Al Qaeda in the Gaza Strip. They’re known for kidnapping BBC reporter Alan Johnston in 2007 and participated in the Gilad Shalit kidnapping in 2006. The Army of Islam is headed by Mumtaz Dughmush, also known as Abu Muhammad al-Ansari, whom the U.S. declared a terrorist in 2011. Mr. Dughmush previously was a PA Preventive Security Service officer in the Gaza Strip, and when he left Fatah for Al Qaeda, he took scores of his fellow policemen with him. No doubt many of them are also members of the vast Dughmush/Dagmoush/Durmush/Dogmosh/Dogmush clan, nicknamed “the Sopranos of Gaza City”. To that core of relatives was added a cadre of so-called Afghan Arabs, who’d fought with the Taliban and Al Qaeda in Afghanistan before Tora Bora fell.

[REGNUM] Police in Cameroon have killed two unidentified militants at a checkpoint in the west of the country, Xinhua reported, citing security sources.
It is reported that unknown armed men arrived on motorcycles in the city of Babajou and opened fire on the gendarmes at the checkpoint. The security forces managed to eliminate two militants with return fire, and another of the attackers was wounded. No reported casualties or deaths among the police. It is noted that so far none of the known groups has claimed responsibility for the attack.
As reported by IA REGNUM , on June 23 in the north of Cameroon there was a scuffle between two rival groups around the land in one of the villages of the country. As a result of the incident, two people were killed and several houses were burned down.
[OneIndia] Hizbul Mujahideen ...Party of Holy Warriors, founded by Muhammad Ahsan Dar in September 1989. One of the Pak sock puppets waging jihad in Indian Kashmir. It was originally organized as the armed wing of Jamaat-e-Islami. In 1990, Dar declared Hizbul as the sword arm of Jamaat. Hizbul murdered many of the pro-independence intelligentsia in Kashmir. After the organization was taken over by Syed Salahuddin Dar and several other ex-Hizb leaders were assassinated between 2001 and 2003...
Hizbul Mujahideen has been banned in India, and now action is being taken...

Originally owned body and theoretical soul by Jamaat-e-Islami he and his organization are currently controlled by Pakistain's ISI. Salahuddin's hobbies include crocheting doilies shaped like the Taj Mahal, combing his enormous beard, and eating....
Mr. Salahuddin also rejoices in being named a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the United States...
's sons Syed Ahmad Shakeel and Shahid Yusuf were recently terminated by the Jammu and Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... government. Shakeel was working at the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute fo Medical Sciences, while Shahid is a former employee at the Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture department.
The National Investigation Agency had found that the duo were facilitating funds from Saudi Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Fifteen of the nineteen WTC hijackers were Saudis, and most major jihadi commanders were Saudis, to include Osama bin Laden. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman quietly folded that tent in 2016, doing terrible things to the guys running it, and has since been dragging the kingdom into the current century... for terror funding in Kashmir. Shakeel was arrested by the NIA in 2018 and the action was reared to a terror funding case which was registered in 2011 in which 7 persons had been chargesheeted.
The case pertains to transfer of funds through Hawala Channels by the gunnies based in Pakistain to Jammu & Kashmir, in a criminal conspiracy hatched with some operatives in India, to fuel and fund the secessionist and terrorist activities in J&K. In this case, Ghulam Mohammed Bhat alias Abdul Rehman and 3 others were chargesheeted in the year 2011.
In October, 2017 accused Syed Shahid Yusuf, another son of accused Syed Salahuddin was arrested by NIA as he had received funds from the Hizbul Mujahideen from abroad and was chargesheeted in 2018.
In this case, so far, three accused persons Mohd. Sidiq Ganai, Ghulam Jeelani Liloo and Farooq Ahmed Dagga have been convicted after they pleaded guilty. During investigation, involvement of Syed Ahmad Shakeel resident of Rambagh, Srinagar had also surfaced in raising, receiving, collecting funds from terrorist organization through its active cadres from Saudi Arabia. He had received money through Western Union several times which were sent by absconding chargesheeted accused Aijaz Ahmad Bhat.
Accused Syed Ahmad Shakeel, aged 48 years is the elder son of Syed Salahuddin, self-styled commander of Hizbul Mujahideen and he has been working as lab assistant in Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS). Investigation revealed that he had also received funds from various countries from the operatives of Hizbul Mujahideen.
Accused was summoned by NIA for questioning but he did not appear. A non-bailable warrant (NBW) was earlier got issued by NIA from the NIA Special Court, Patiala House, New Delhi.

[NYPOST] Democrats are united in the belief that laws of economics no longer exist. That you can spend trillions upon trillions — anything you want, really — with no downside. The laws of economics respectfully disagree.
Inflation is up 5.4 percent year-over-year, the largest increase in 13 years. Partly, that’s the bounce-back from the pandemic, but it’s also because of the massive spending bills pushed through by both the Trump and Biden administration, the same old faces in slightly different places, the same old ideas, the same old graft ...knaves, footpads, and adjusters employed by the Biden Crime Family. They leave a trail of havoc everywhere they turn their attention, be it the nation's borders, the Keystone XL Pipeline, or epidemics, sometimes on purpose, most times through sheer arrogant ineptitude. They learnt this stuff in college, you know... s.
Some stimulus was clearly necessary, but now that the economy is heating up again, the Democrats want to spend even more — $6 trillion.
If they succeed, expect inflation to shoot up even more. Progressives don’t care. They’ll claim credit for an increase in wages and government aid. But chances are that won’t make up for the rising cost of daily necessities like gas, meat and milk. Inflation is, above everything, a tax on the poor.

People might try to find a haven in property, gold or crytocurrency. I don't trust property as it already seems over-inflated. I am leery of crytocurrency as well. But then I am old engineer and not a financial guy. I've taken a hit a couple of times.
Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", announced in 2019 their intention to establish a mechanism for supporters to donate cryptocurrency to the group. A short time later, its web site setup a link for supporters to transfer donations.
However, a person who gets all wrapped up in himself makes a mighty small package... this effort caught the attention of the U.S. Department of Justice who covertly took over the website, intercepted funds directed to Hamas, and subsequently shut it down.
"With judicial authorization, law enforcement seized the infrastructure of the al-Qassam Brigades websites and subsequently covertly operated alqassam.net. During that covert operation, the website received funds from persons seeking to provide material support to the terrorist organization, however, they instead donated the funds bitcoin wallets controlled by the United States," a Department of Justice blurb stated.

"In the Idlib de-escalation zone, 28 attacks were recorded from the positions of the Jabhat al-Nusra (including 26 attacks, according to the Syrian side).
In the province of Idlib, 12 attacks were registered. In the province of Latakia: 11 attacks. In the province of Aleppo: four attacks. In the province of Hama: one shelling," said Vadim Kulit.
There is no information about the casualties or those killed in the shelling.
[Freedom of Speech] A 20-YEAR trail of patent applications concerning the virus responsible for Covid-19 proves it is neither new nor the result of a jump from animals to humans, an inquiry has been told. I saw a video clip yesterday, which tickled my fancy. Today I wrote down the three patent numbers featured in the clip and found this article.
Instead, the patents show that a natural virus, harmless to humans, was subjected to numerous laboratory modifications which ’weaponised’ it, such that it could become the basis of a marketing campaign for tests and vaccines which are of questionable value to the public health, but which have proved to be a financial bonanza for drug companies.
A dossier of evidence supporting these claims has been presented to the international Corona Investigative Committee headed by Reiner Fuellmich, a senior German lawyer specialising in exposing corporate swindles. The committee has been taking testimony from scientists and other experts since July last year.
The dossier was submitted last week by Dr David Martin, who heads M-CAM International, a US company which monitors innovations relevant to financial interests. Martin was the speaker in the five-minute video clip I saw yesterday. I can't post a .mov file.
First made public more than a year ago, Martin’s allegations were widely dismissed as ’conspiracy’ by so-called fact-checkers, who at the time were promoting the view fostered by the scientific establishment that the virus had a natural origin. From the referenced US Patent 7270327 - The present invention relates to methods of producing recombinant nidovirus vectors, particularly coronavirus vectors, and expressing heterologous genes from said vectors.
Even more problematic, the patent record showed that in 1999 Anthony Fauci, head of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID), found the ‘malleability' of the coronavirus made it a potential candidate for vaccines against HIV (the purported cause of AIDS, for which US taxpayers have contributed more than $300billion in research and treatment over the past 35 years). The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. ‘Anthony Fauci funded research at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, specifically to create – and you cannot help but lament what I am about to read, because this comes directly from a patent application filed on April 19, 2002 – "an infectious replication defective coronavirus".'
This virus was specifically targeted to invade human lung epithelia, the protective cells lining the lungs, Martin said.
‘In other words, we made SARS. Before there was ever any alleged outbreak in Asia, which as you know followed that by several months. He's talking about the first SARS coronavirus, in 2003.
‘Throughout the fall of 2001 we began monitoring an enormous number of bacterial and viral pathogens that were being patented through the National Institutes of Health, NIAID, USAMRIID [the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases], and a number of other agencies internationally that collaborated with them.
‘Our concern was that coronavirus was being seen not only as a potential manipulable agent for potential use as a vaccine vector, but it was also very clearly being considered as a biological weapon candidate. Bits and pieces posted here. Read it all, if you have time. This might be bubbling to the surface again.

At the risk of sounding pedantic, swksvolFF, your diatribe has 3 little misconceptions.
(a) The infection rate is not constant - it increases with the fraction of the infected in the population.
(b) The death rate is not constant - it depends on the number of sick relative to the available medical services*.
(c) If vaccination doesn't make you immune for life, undergoing the disease - even if you recover (see b) won't make you immune for life (think common cold).
Other than these three - really minor points, your argument is perfectly cogent & rational.
*Lets do an example.
A state has 1000 ventilators. Survival rate for people who need one is (let say just for example) 70%. Survival rate of people who need ventilator but don't get one is 0%. Now, as long as you have less than 1000 seriously ill 70% survive. If you have more than 1000, some will not survive. And some doc gets the fun of deciding who lives and who dies.
#15
^In Israel survival rate of people on ventilator is like > 90%.
On the other hand, I know this 26 years old guy who had Covid. Nowadays, he walks a 100 meters, he has to sit & rest. Before Covid, he was an officer in Golani recon.
Then I started to notice that fellow passengers had underlying psychosis of hypochondria which festered in the ideal environment making my wife look like Pigpen, to the point they couldn't even (paper) mask effectively.
My favorite, to date, is the unsolicited advance into my place of business to sing the Song of Covid, taking the mask off to do so, from 5 yards out, yelling to make up the difference. Yeah. No spittle there.
Close second, similar circumstances, maskless in here, gets in car, puts mask on.
I mean, I have one hundred stories per day of Not-Covid. Never have I advocated someone do something they are not comfortable with. Never have I demanded someone do what I would not do myself. Those favors have only been wielded against me.
Mask works. Great. Wear your mask, I"m no threat. Vax works. Great. Get your Vax, I'm no threat.

I also think that the magnet people, if not manufactured they should have been, is being used as a Fred Phelps type parody tool to bash those not all-in for the vax.

Hekmatyar has told the Taliban that they-Hezb-e-Islami-have fought for the cause of Islam even prior to the Taliban’s birth.
True. Not that Islam has benefitted from either champion, but they have tried in their differently deqr little ways.
The former warlord added that if the Taliban can prove the ongoing war to be in favor of Islam and the people of Afghanistan, they-Hezb-e-Islami will too join them. He reiterated that the current conflict is neither in the favor of Islam nor the people of Afghanistan.
"There is neither rational nor religious justification for continuation of war", Hekmatyar added
He suggested, reconciliation, peace, intra-afghan talks and dialogue should be deemed as the ideal and rational means through which the goals should be pursued.
Gulbadin Hekmatyar by addressing the Taliban said, they-the Taliban- can achieve nothing but demolition and killing civilians by persisting in the ongoing war, thus they have to shun it.
Earlier, former president Hamid Maybe I'll join the Taliban Karzai ...A product, and probably the sole product, of the Southern Alliance... also said that the Taliban with their current territorial gains can achieve nothing. He in similar call on both the Taliban and Afghan government said, the current opportunity for peace must be seized not wasted.

They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. (ISIS) suspects were arrested in Erbil who were allegedly planning to carry out terrorist attacks in the city before Eid al-Adha ...a major Moslem holiday, marked by animal sacrifice and ritual rioting... , the Kurdistan Region Security Council (KRSC) announced on Tuesday.
"The directorate general of counter-terrorism arrested a terrorist group who was planning to carry out terrorist attacks before Eid al-Adha," the Security Council said in a video it published, adding that the group’s main target was the governorate’s building and a "place with a number of foreigners."
The group had picked out different places in the city and were planning to conduct a "suicide kaboom" in the governorate’s building located in the city center, according to KRSC.
"I joined the group in 2021 through Abu Sara," Abdulrahman Alaa who is known by the name Wisam in the group said in a confession video.
"Abu Sara asked me to conduct a security attack in Erbil, and I agreed. He [Abu Sara] then introduced me to an ISIS security official and then he [Abu Humam] asked me to find and specify some administrative and security areas in the city," he added.
Abu Humam is an ISIS security official that directed all five members to conduct the attacks in Erbil before Eid al-Adha.
Mazin Diyab, another member of the group, arrived in the city by the end of May where he met with Wisam.
"We went to the places that Wisam had selected, and then we chose the governorate building as a target," Diyab said in the video. "Then we decided to go to places that had foreigners."
"Abu Humam asked Wisam to find a place to hide the things at, and because Wisam lives in a farm on the outskirts of Erbil he said he would keep them there," Diyab added.
In June, Diyab met another member of the group and they went for multiple walks to monitor the governorate building in Erbil. They designated the building’s main gate as a target for the attack.
Mustafa Abdulnasr, known as Ayub, joined the group earlier this year through ISIS member Abu Hafsa who later introduce him to the official Abu Humam.
"Abu Humam asked me to meet someone called Abu Awad, and I met him in Erbil," Ayub said. "We monitored the governorate building for the last time at the end of June and we sent all the details, the number of guards, coordinates of the site, and photos to Abu Humam."
The group was expected to receive smuggled weapons and explosives through Syria as well as the jacket wallah.
"We were arrested before the smuggling operation," all five members said.
Another suspect was arrested in the city last week. He was planning to launch an attack against the counterterrorism headquarters in the city.

They’re just thinking in terms of local political refugees, but they’re preparing themselves for Muslim colonists moving in from the West and south as well.
[DW] The bill allows for the detention of asylum seekers and curbs migrants colonists' right to appeal. Lithuania claims neighboring Belarus is using migrants colonists as a "weapon."
Lithuania's Parliament on Tuesday approved a raft of new laws tightening the rules on migration and asylum.
The new legislation is intended to deter high numbers of asylum seekers crossing European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... member Lithuania's border with Belarus.
What is the new legislation on asylum seekers?
The bill prevents any release of migrants colonists from detention for six months after their arrival.
It also curbs the right of appeal for rejected asylum-seekers and stipulates that migrants colonists can be deported while their appeals are under consideration.
A total of 84 politicians in parliament supported the bill, with one against and 5 abstentions.
Several non-governmental organizations have said the decision to detain the migrants colonists violates Lithuania's international obligations, as well as the rights of the asylum seekers.
"The law is a potential human rights ...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty... violation, and it does not correspond to EU directives," Lithuanian Red Thingy program director Egle Samuchovaite told news agency Rooters.
"It enshrines the current bad situation in Lithuania's detention centers in law and leaves vulnerable people in an even more vulnerable situation."
What is the EU-Belarus dispute over migrants colonists?
On Monday, Lithuania accused Belarus of using migrants colonists as a political "weapon" to put pressure on the EU.
The country's foreign minister, Gabrielius Landsbergis, told DW that Belarus was using refugees from war-torn countries as "human shields" in an attempt to force the bloc to ease sanctions.
The EU has imposed a series of sanctions on Minsk over what it says is an "escalation of serious human rights violations and the violent mostly peaceful repression of civil society, democratic opposition and journalists, as well as the forced landing of a Ryanair flight" in order to detain a dissident blogger and his girlfriend.
In response, Belarus vowed to allow migrants colonists to cross into Lithuania.
Vilnius accuses Minsk of flying in migrants colonists from abroad to send to the EU. Last week, Lithuania began building a fence along the border and deployed troops to prevent migrants colonists crossing illegally into its territory.

According to the IDF, the terrorist group is storing rockets, military-grade explosives and other weapons in a residential building just 25 m. from a school with 300 students.
The explosion of the warehouse would be half the size of the Beirut explosion of last year that killed at least 211 people and badly damaged a large part of the city.
The IDF hopes that with the disclosure, the group will remove the weapons from the building.
The IDF sent a mysterious tweet on Wednesday, posting a set of coordinates leading to Kfar Ebba.
Our intelligence can reveal that Hezbollah has built a weapons warehouse just 25 meters from a school in the village of Ebba, Lebanon.
This endangers the lives of 300 children who attend the school.
Hezbollah doesn't want you to RT this, but these innocent children need you to pic.twitter.com/FJyEyJZrIu
But, should the group keep the weapons there, "the IDF will not hesitate" to destroy it, warned OC Northern Command Maj.-Gen. Amir Baram.
"Hezbollah consistently uses civilian assets as an operational tactic for military activity," Baram said, adding that "the IDF and the Northern Command will take all measures to reduce harm to civilians, and yet the IDF will not hesitate to destroy active targets."
[LIBYAREVIEW] In partnership with the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... and the United Nations ...an organization which on balance has done more bad than good, with the good not done well and the bad done thoroughly... , Libya launched the "Dismantling Human Trafficking and Migrant Criminal Networks in North Africa," regional programme, according to a statement by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).The project is funded by the European Union, through the EU Trust Fund for Africa (EUTF), and is being implemented by UNODC. It aims to strengthen the capacities of the Libyan authorities in preventing all forms of organized crime, including human trafficking and migrant smuggling.
According to the statement, the programme is fully in line with the EU’s New Pact on Migration and Asylum, which puts forward the need to promote tailor-made and mutually beneficial partnerships with third countries.
The €15 million Euro regional umbrella programme supports Libya, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia in countering criminal networks involved in migrant smuggling, and human trafficking.
UNODC is a key partner of the EU in this endeavour, working closely with the Government of Libya. UNODC is the guardian of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC) and its supplementing Protocols, to which Libya is a state party,
The Libya project will focus on improving the detection and interception capacities of front-line officers and agencies, including health and social workers. As well as building the skills and knowledge of law enforcement agencies; jointly reviewing the legal framework; and strengthening the skills of criminal justice practitioners in cases of migrant smuggling and human trafficking, with an emphasis on regional and international cooperation.
The programme follows a human rights One man's rights are another man's existential threat. -based approach in line with the EU’s do-no-harm policy, and international human rights commitments.

This is a test one that will just attempt to static fire without blowing up. It only has 3 engines instead of the required 33 to 35 engines. BN4 will be the one to launch if this prototype doesn't blow up. See the photo in the story.

Of course, the FAA just said that it hasn't approved the environmental impact statement for the launch tower, so it may have to be torn down.

[OneIndia] Charges have been framed following an investigation by the National Investigation Agency in the Jammu Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. Charges were framed abasing several persons including those based in Pakistain. Between 2004 and 2011, illegal funding was made to the tune of Rs 80 crore

Money down a rat-hole. Since 2009, the U.S. government has committed over $5 billion in civilian assistance to Pakistan and over $1 billion in emergency humanitarian response. During Pakistan's 2019-2020 fiscal year, the United States was once again the top donor country to Pakistan of on-budget, grant-based assistance.

The short video clip, posted to Facebook on Monday, shows the driver reaching into the open container of what appears to be a burrito bowl to bury the note under shredded cheese and lettuce.
"Ya kno I’m bout to violate the s—t out this order 61st precient [sic]," the video, posted by a user with the handle "So Certified," was captioned.
"I dreamed of moments like this," it continued. "god u been so good to me like idk how to re pay u."

On holidays I don't feel like "eating out" at commercial franchise eateries because the thought that some disgruntled employee (young n' dumb whinging that all of their friends are at the lake!) *might* adulterate the food. I don't *expect* it, but it just makes me feel like eating at home at the very thought.

Sabotage like this is precisely why so many small businesses, where an employee may be 1/4 of his business output, prefer to hire illegal aliens from south of the border. These scumbags can literally bankrupt you and destroy what you spent decades putting together. Disproportionate homicidal tendencies are just the tip of the tip of the iceberg.

Lefties are always agitating for some sort of mandatory public service for the young. How bout this: If you don't make a realistic predetermined cut to go into high school, you get the national service track instead. Would give some the incentive to work harder to avoid it, and it could be tailored to beat the "too cool for school" out of the rest.

[Rusvesna] Zakhar Prilepin, a well-known Russian writer and former deputy commander of the DPR Army, comments on the program article published yesterday by Russian President Vladimir Putin on the unity of Russians and Ukrainians.
"The emperor correctly writes in his article that Kiev does not need Donbass.
I would also like to remind you that Kyev does not need Rusyns and the Rusyns do not need Kyev, because the Rusyns filed for secession back in the same distant 2014, but Kyev hushed up the case with the Rusyns. But Rusyns remember their desire.
Kiev does not need Odessa, since Kyev tried to burn it down.
Kiev does not need Kharkov, it is pro-Russian.
Kiev does not need Poltava, the Russian imperialist Gogol was born there.
Kiev does not need Kherson, because Kyev did not build it.
Kiev does not need Lvov, because Lvov belongs to Stalin.
Kiev does not need Russian Kiev.
But first, Donbass. It's right. All Donbass.
Let us remind you that Vladimir Putin in his article recalled how exactly the current Ukraine ended up within its modern borders and at the expense of whom it grew in territories. He also recalled the policy of indigenousization pursued by the Bolsheviks, which for the Ukrainian SSR resulted in the development of the Ukrainian language and culture. The President called modern Ukraine the brainchild of the Soviet era.
A little earlier Prilepin wrote in his Telegram channel:
“I flew here on a plane, read the latest issues of the AIF and KP with two pages dedicated to the problem of Ukraine.
The main message is "we are one people" (true) and "Ukraine was created under the USSR" (in fact, no, it is not true - because both the Zaporozhye Sich, and the Little Russian territories within the Commonwealth, and the Ukrainian-Kharkov province in the 19th century in as part of Russia, and Ukraine Skoropadsky and other petlyurs - all this was before the USSR; Yeltsin created a sovereign Ukraine in its present form in 1991. And the Bolsheviks returned it to Russia. Do not confuse this).
[POLICETRIBUNE] Oakland Police Chief LeRonne Armstrong and a group of friends and family of victims of gun violence led a pro-police, anti-violence march on Saturday to call for a unified stand against violent mostly peaceful crime.Anti-police demonstrators and antifa showed up and clashed with members of the group, leading to heated arguments between them and the crime victims’ families and law enforcement supporters, video footage showed.
"Surreal moment in Oakland," Intercept news hound Lee Fang tweeted. "About 200 mostly black families rally with police to call for an end to the epidemic of gun violence. Mothers at the stage mourning recently murdered children. In the back, less than a dozen mostly white antifa protesters assembled to jeer them."
Chief Armstrong and many members of the 200-strong "Stand Up for a Safe Oakland" anti-violence group wore white shirts emblazoned with the hashtag "#SAFEOAKLAND" as they made their way from the amphitheater to Lakeshore Avenue, where one person was murdered and six more were maimed during a Juneteenth celebration last month, The Mercury News reported.
"We continue to see shootings every night in the city," Chief Armstrong told the crowd. "It is time we come together and we unite behind reducing gun violence in the city of Oakland. There are people in our community who don’t feel safe. There are seniors in our community who cannot come out at night. There are young, African-American men and Latino men that are at risk in our city."

According to a computer model from MIT, given the way the world is going, we totally run out of popcorn in 2030.
Are they telling us that these snowflakes will "advance under fire"??
Prediction: after the first couple of 'em get shot, the rest will either want an armed escort and we are back to where we started, or they will simply bail and the whole thing will fall apart.
Most people with half a brain will look at ideas like eliminating the police and think, "That's stupid!". But as a philosopher said, "It's a fine line between stupid and clever". Sure, this sounds stupid, but if we have never tried it, do we really know? Perhaps there is some incredible non-linearity that makes everyone nice once we eliminate the cops. I say we do the experiment and if it doesn't work (hint: it won't), we have evidence we can point to next time some dumbass brings it up.

Oh, they won't get shot. They'll get stabbed; they'll get other people stabbed; they'll get taken hostage and raped; they'll get other people taken hostage.
The taxpayers of Chicago will be on the hook for atrocities that would have been prevented had someone present applied $10 worth of ammunition.

So instead of a TV show that follows cops we get a TV show that follows mental health professionals on 911 calls. Instead of Cops, we'd get Mental Health Professionals.
