Miss Zadora looks dressed for a swingers convention. This really is a thing, it turns out — a bunch of them descended on one of Mr. Wife’s favourite bars for the evening, so he had to sort carefully through his crowd shot photos to keep it appropriately PG for Facebook.
[Guardian] Hours after being endorsed by the third-party candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr, Donald Trump said he would release "all of the remaining documents pertaining to the assassination of John F Kennedy" if he were elected president in November, as part of a proposed new commission on presidential assassination attempts, including the one that targeted him.
Speaking at a rally in Glendale, Arizona, Trump also pledged that, if elected, he would "establish a panel of top experts" that would work with Kennedy, a prominent anti-vaccine advocate, to investigate childhood health problems. The 13 July assassination attempt on Trump is already being officially investigated, including by the Secret Service and the FBI.

I suspect that will be a Fort Sumter moment. They might was well go full coup and see how long they can hold on. Think the lock down, but without end, no electricity or gas, and interstate transportation basically truncated. Local sheriffs aren't going to help and the National Guard is still made up of citizens. IIRC Mao correctly - he who controls the countryside controls the cities.
[NYPOST] The whereabouts of a former Las Vegas Democratic politician around the time a veteran investigative journalist was brutally stabbed to death remains a key question in the ex-official's murder trial — and a newly unearthed text message shrouds mystery to the defendants alibi as he continues to plead his innocence and contest DNA evidence linking him to the crime.
Robert Telles, 47, is on trial for killing journalist Jeff German, who had penned critical stories about the official, and the defendant faced tough questioning during cross-examination on Thursday where the prosecutor presented him with a surprise text message sent from his wife that had vanished from his phone.
Telles, a former Democratic Clark County administrator of estates, read out a text message from his wife, showing that she had wondered where he was around the time German was ambushed and killed outside his home nearly two years ago.
''It says, 'Where are you?''' Telles said, in response to prosecutor Christopher Hamner.
Telles testified earlier that he had ignored several text, email and voice messages while he was at home, and gone for a walk and then to a gym the day German was killed.
Prosecutors have suggested that he had left the phone at home as he executed a meticulously planned fatal attack on the journalist.
Hamner zeroed in on cellphone records presented Wednesday by a defense witness that included no listing of the text from Telles' wife.
The prosecutor said it was found on her Apple Watch device, and that the message had been deleted from Telles' phone.
Telles said he had been in possession of the phone all day and that he had had the ability to save and delete messages.
He did not admit that he had deleted the message.
Hamner noted the time — 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 2, 2022 — was the time security video presented earlier to the jury showed a maroon SUV that Telles had agreed looked just like his, was in German’s neighborhood.
It was driven by a person wearing an orange outfit and a big straw hat. Telles himself referred several times Thursday to that person as German’s killer.
Telles said on the stand that a professional assassin stabbed German to death.
He has accused a real estate firm of being behind the murder in order to frame him for trying to fight corruption that he saw in his office.
[NYPOST] The principal of a Brooklyn high school plagued by a gang of Hitler-loving youths and acts of antisemitism is being removed and replaced with a Muslim educator, The Post has learned.
Dara Kammerman's departure as interim principal of Origins High School comes six months after The Post exposed complaints that she had failed to stem outbursts against Jewish and LBGTQ students and teachers.
Kammerman sent an email to the school community on Monday saying she will be ''stepping down'' after working 11 years at the Sheepshead Bay school. She made no mention of the turmoil, calling Origins ''beautifully diverse'' and saying ''I am proud of what the school has become over the years.'' "Diversity is our strength, y'know."
The change also comes on the heels of a lawsuit filed against the city Department of Education by Jewish teacher Danielle Kaminsky and campus manager Michael Beaudry, who allege they were removed from the school in retaliation for blowing the whistle on anti-Jewish and anti-gay hate.
Kaminsky, 34, was terrorized by teens who called her ''a dirty Jew,'' scrawled swastikas in the classroom, gave the Nazi salute and told her ''I wish you were killed'' in the Holocaust, she said. Students tore down an Israeli flag in her classroom, and wrote ''DIE'' on the door.
The misconduct continued because Kammerman did not adequately discipline the students — once insisting that teens taunting the teacher about liking Hitler ''were trying to have an academic conversation,'' records show.
In a separate email, Superintendent Michael Prayor said Kammerman ''will continue to be a valuable member of my team.'' He did not elaborate on her new role. She made $170,508 last year.
Prayor replaced her with Ahmed Elmaliki, a former English teacher with less than two years' experience as an assistant principal at Boerum Hill School for International Studies.
In his own email, Elmaliki described himself as ''the child of hard-working immigrants from Yemen.''
[NYPOST] A federal judge has thrown out major felony charges against two former Louisville officers accused of falsifying a warrant that led police to Breonna Taylor's door before they fatally shot her.
U.S. District Judge Charles Simpson's ruling declared that the actions of Taylor's boyfriend, who fired a shot at police the night of the raid, were the legal cause of her death, not a bad warrant.
Federal charges against former Louisville Police Detective Joshua Jaynes and former Sgt. Kyle Meany were announced by U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland in 2022 during a high-profile visit to Louisville.
Garland accused Jaynes and Meany, who were not present at the raid, of knowing they had falsified part of the warrant and put Taylor in a dangerous situation by sending armed officers to her apartment.
Looking deeper in the archives, because I’m sure somewhere we have notes about Miss Breonna — I seem to recall she was an EMT whose current and former boyfriends were both in the recreational drugs biz, while the police executing a no-knock raid were sent to the wrong address — I came across one of Fred’s more inspired in-line extravaganzas. Enjoy, dear Readers!
Update at 11:55 a.m ET: Here’s the best summary I can find: the Louisville police raided her apartment back in March 2020 because she was holding the profits of her old boyfriend, a drug dealer, while living with her new boyfriend, another drug dealer. The new boyfriend shot at the police while hiding behind her, allowing her body to absorb the bullets aimed back at him. The police claim they knocked; someone in the Louisville PD leaked information that the address was raided because the old boyfriend was using her rental car, which had a bill with her address and phone number on it.
[NYPOST] French President Emmanuel Macron called Saturday's suspected arson attack on a synagogue in southern La Belle France a ''terrorist act'' — as authorities increased security at Jewish houses of worship around the country.
A police officer was hurt when two parked cars outside the Beth Yaacov synagogue in La Grande-Motte, near Montpellier, were set on fire and went kaboom!.
VBIED. But was it jihadis or radical leftists? Still Page 1: WoT either way, but it would be nice to know if the Black Blockers are getting in on the jihadi shtick.
Two of the synagogue's doors were damaged in the blast, La Belle France24 reported.
A gas canister was found in one of the cars, the outlet noted.
It was not immediately clear how many people were inside the synagogue at the time of the fire.
No other injuries were reported.
''Our thoughts are with the congregation at the Grande-Motte synagogue and all the Jews in our country,'' Macron wrote on X.''Everything is being done to find the perpetrator of this terrorist act and to protect places of worship. The fight against anti-Semitism is a constant battle, that of a united nation.''
French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin vowed that ''all means are being mobilized'' to find the perpetrator.
A suspect caught on a surveillance camera outside the Beth Yaacov synagogue in the seaside resort of La Grande-Motte, near the city of Montpellier, was caught in surveillance camera footage clad in a Palestinian flag.

[Bee] GLENDALE, AZ — The presidential race underwent a shakeup today, with Donald Trump adding a Kennedy to his team in hopes he will draw all the sniper fire.
Following an assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania campaign rally in July, Trump sought to take drastic steps to increase his safety for the remainder of the campaign, including bringing on Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., a member of a family with a reputation for being shot at.
"A brilliant move by the Trump campaign," said one political strategist. "With lingering questions about the competence of the Secret Service, Trump has decided to take matters into his own hands. Nothing will draw gunfire away from him more effectively than having a Kennedy standing next to you."
Political experts predicted Kennedy's departure from the presidential race and subsequent endorsement of Trump could be a significant boost for Trump's campaign with the added bonus of being an extra layer of protection from attempts on his life. "It's like having a rodeo clown," one analyst said. "If there are any other would-be assassins along the campaign trail, they won't be able to resist the lure of a Kennedy."
At publishing time, pundits speculated that RFK, Jr.'s endorsement was likely to be rewarded by his receiving an appointment as CIA Director in Trump's administration, which, in turn, could open the door to the ironic possibility of the CIA being killed by a Kennedy.

[JustTheNews] Officers of U.S. Customs and Border Protection seized more than 90,000 rounds of large-caliber ammo on Saturday. CBP officers intercepted the illicit shipment on a commercial tour bus headed toward Mexico via the Bridge of the Americas in El Paso, Texas.
Toward Mexico? Surely they can make their own more cheaply down there…
"The seizure almost triples the amount of ammunition CBP officers performing outbound enforcement inspections at the El Paso field office have made during the last three fiscal years (FY) combined," according to a CBP blurb.
CBP reports having "seized 15,678 rounds in FY 2021, 7,224 rounds in FY 2022 and 11,205 rounds in FY 2023."
Although CBP's primary focus is intercepting inbound contraband, "the agency will also perform outbound inspections as part of our overall enforcement portfolio."
"The magnitude of this seizure is impactful," CBP said. "Had this ammunition fallen into the hands of transnational criminal organizations the impact could have been devasting."
CBP officers seized the ammo shortly after 7 PM on Saturday "when members of CBP’s Anti-Terrorism Contraband Enforcement Team (ATCET) initiated an operation at the southbound lanes of the BOTA port of entry."
CBP selected a Mexico-bound commercial tour bus for secondary inspection after "officers noted that the two bus drivers depicted nervous behavior during the routine inspection."
The secondary inspection revealed "multiple 27-gallon plastic storage totes that seemed very heavy."
"Upon inspection of the totes they were found to contain boxes of ammunition A total of 59,900 rounds of .223 ammunition and 33,000 rounds 7.62 x 39 ammunition were seized," CBP said.
Homeland Security Investigations arrested the drivers, who "will face charges related to the failed smuggling attempt."
"CBP seized the bus," which had 16 passengers. A passenger in the U.S. illegally was processed. The remaining passengers "were released and continued their journey on a different bus."

Thought experiment: Consider this from a military logistics perspective. If you are going to conduct major clandestine ground ops into the US from Mexico, and expect to have significant expenditure of ammunition, would you want your lines of supply (MSR) north of you? Your major supply depot(s) should be in Mexico, safe from interdiction, akin to the Viet Cong Laos sites in the Viet Nam era.
As for why it is being imported into Mexico from the US, the Mexican government has undoubtedly got very good awareness of large ammunition production facilities in Mexico and how/by whom it is being purchased, but little to no visibility of what is being bought in bulk in the US and sent south.
During the Vietnam War, the United States' Studies and Observation Group (SOG) conducted a covert operation called Project Eldest Son, which involved placing exploding cartridges into supplies used by communist combat forces. The project, also known as "Italian Green" or "Pole Bean", involved assembling 11,565 7.62×39mm cartridges for AK-47 rifles, 556 12.7×108mm heavy machine gun cartridges, and 1,968 82mm Type 67 mortar shells. The cartridges were designed to detonate when the weapons were fired, and were an example of unconventional warfare.
I have it on good authority that variations on the 'Eldest Son' theme took place in Iraq and Afghanistan.
[FoxNews] An attempt to use an extendable robot to remove a fragment of melted fuel from a wrecked reactor at Japan’s tsunami-hit Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant was suspended Thursday due to a technical issue.
The collection of a tiny sample of the debris inside the Unit 2 reactor’s primary containment vessel would start the fuel debris removal phase, the most challenging part of the decades-long decommissioning of the plant where three reactors were destroyed in the March 11, 2011, magnitude 9.0 earthquake and tsunami disaster.
The work was stopped when workers noticed that five 1.5-meter (5-foot) pipes used to maneuver the robot were placed in the wrong order and could not be corrected within the time limit for their radiation exposure, the plant operator Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings said.
The pipes were to be used to push the robot inside and pull it back out when it finished. Once inside the vessel, the robot is operated remotely from a safer location.
[FoxNews] The Army’s acquisition, logistics and technology (ALT) office on Wednesday released two new initiatives, "Break AI" and "Counter AI," which will test ever-developing AI technologies for reliable in-field use and provide protection from adversarial employment of AI against the U.S., the Federal News Network reported this week.
The Army is not only looking at how to safely implement AI across the military branch but how to develop it safely in coordination with outside parties.
"One of the obstacles for the adoption is how do we look at risk around AI? We have to look at issues around poisoned datasets, adversarial attacks, trojans and those types of things," Young Bang, principal deputy to the assistant secretary of the Army’s ALT, reportedly said during a tech conference in Georgia Wednesday.
[FoxNews] Darryl Stevens' home surveillance camera captured the moment a machete-wielding intruder approached the family's Liberty Hill home just north of Austin.
"At that moment, I obviously freaked out. I have two young children here in the house and just went into complete fight or flight mode," Stevens told FOX 7.
"I started running through the house. I locked every door as fast as possible, ran upstairs. Luckily, I had a firearm here, so I grabbed my 9mm, unlocked it, ran down as fast as possible," Stevens said.
The suspect, later identified as 43-year-old Jerry Escamilla, managed to climb a fence and get to the upper deck of the family's home.
He was greeted by Stevens' handgun when he arrived.
"Told him he's got to leave, or he's going to lose his life, you know?" he said. "Luckily, after I did that, he dropped the machete."
Stevens' wife called 911 and local police arrested Escamilla. The 43-year-old was charged with criminal trespassing and failure to identify and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
That's what the 9mm is for. It tilts the odds in favor of the house.

[FE] The Korean Demilitarized Zone [DMZ] is one of the most heavily fortified and dangerous borders in the world. It has acted as a buffer zone between North and South Korea, and also become an unexpected haven for pheasants and greenheads. Sharing the 2.5-mile-wide strip of land that runs along the 38th Parallel for 160 miles with the U.S servicemen are a plethora of quail, snipe, and other waterfowl. Since 1945, the heavily embattled area has been in a constant state of alertness as danger levels fluctuate based on geopolitical events and tensions that arise between the two countries.
The history of hunting in this paradoxical region, particularly during and after the Korean War, highlights the resilience and adaptability of military personnel in finding ways to engage in recreational activities amidst tense and dangerous environments. As such, servicemen took advantage of the excellent hunting grounds for sanctioned and unsanctioned hunting throughout the area.
In a January 25, 1951 letter from a young U.S. Marine stationed at Pohang, Korea, the Devil Dog wrote home to his family telling them, "One of our Sgt’s went pheasant hunting. The platoon is hopeful that he returns with several, as we are ready with a frying pan, butter, grease as the chow has become rather monotonous."
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Oregonians have reacted angrily to a taxpayer-funded scheme that doles out $30,000 for non-legal migrants to buy homes, but excludes US citizens.
Hacienda Community Development Corporation, a Latino-led group in Portland, says in a promotion that it will give first-time home buyers up to $30,000 to get on the property ladder.
But there's a catch, the advert adds. The scheme is 'only for people who are not American citizens.' It is instead open to refugees, asylum seekers, Green Card holders, and those who arrived in the US illegally as children, the post says.
Oregon state representative Ed Diehl is among those to say he's 'appalled' at the scheme, which he said was funded through the state's tax-funded Economic Equity Investment Program (EEIP).
Hacienda and its CEO Ernesto Fonseca, who hails from an impoverished part of Mexico, did not answer The Mail's requests for comment.
The post was unearthed and shared on X earlier this month by a community information group called Oregon Citizen. The group says it was being shared quietly through schools so that the immigrant parents of students could find out about it.
Hacienda is in-part funded through the EEIP, which was created through Oregon's Economic Equity Investment Act of 2022.
It receives millions of dollars from Oregon state taxes and also from federal taxes through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The EEIP received $15 million at launch and was allocated another $8 million this year.
That money is distributed through Hacienda and other groups that deliver 'culturally responsive services,' according to Oregon Senate Bill 1579.
The funds are aimed at supporting 'economic stability, self-sufficiency, wealth building, and economic equity among disadvantaged individuals, families, businesses, and communities.'
Hacienda was funded through Business Oregon and EEIP to the tune of $692,775 this year, Oregon Citizen says.
The group did not reply to our questions about excluding US citizens from its home loan schemes.
It was founded in 1992 and aims to get poor 'immigrants and communities of color' into homes, says its website.
Immigration has become a key issue in Oregon, with state Republicans moving to repeal some of the state's sanctuary laws, which protect some migrants from deportation.
Still, voters in the Beaver State have nuanced views about migrants.
Polling by Portland firm DHM Research in April 2023 showed that about half of voters say illegal immigration is a serious problem.
The other half, one assumes, have long owned their own homes and enjoy being able to hire low-wage illegals for domestic labour.

Not sure $30,000 will do much in the Portland market…
You are thinking in terms of results. In terms of grift process, you need a Program Manager, her secretary, some assistant administrators/facilitators and their assistants, maybe a company car, and some misc. clerks, office space, computers and copiers, etc. Think of it as a full-employment program for friends and family.
Hacienda Community Development looks to be doing well, judging from their website. In case you are interested, they have the following positions open: After-School Program Coordinator (Bilingual English/Spanish; English/Somali)
Asset Manager

[REGNUM] The second terrorist attack under the ISIS flag in Russian prisons in the last two months confirms what observers have long warned about: the influence of radical Islamist groups, so-called prison jamaats, is growing in prisons, and “green zones” are forming. And they are becoming incubators for terrorists. Unlike the previous riot in Rostov, the current one in Volgograd's Surovikino was organized by people from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan convicted not of terrorism but of drug trafficking. They attacked prison staff, killing two and taking hostages, and displayed the ISIS* flag, meaning they consciously identified themselves as terrorists.

[IsraelTimes] NGO says Nassau County law discriminates against people covering their faces for health reasons; proponent says antisemitic incidents ‘often perpetrated by those in masks’
A disability rights organization is challenging a suburban New York ban on wearing masks in public except for health and religious reasons, arguing it is unconstitutional and discriminates against people with disabilities.
People with disabilities would fall under the health and religious reasons thingy… unless their only health reason is anxiety driven by COVID hysteria.
The federal class action lawsuit, filed by Disability Rights of New York on behalf of individuals with disabilities, seeks a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction to immediately stop enforcement of Nassau County’s Mask Transparency Act.
[IsraelTimes] Event for Joshua Leifer’s ‘Tablets Shattered’ back on as owner of bookstore blames rogue employee for ‘hideous’ incident, fires her.
An event at a Brooklyn bookstore that was canceled because an employee objected to its "Zionist" moderator, causing widespread backlash, has been rescheduled for a different location next week.
The event for "Tablets Shattered," a new book on American Jewish life by journalist Joshua Leifer, will take place on Monday evening at the Center for New Jewish Culture in Brooklyn’s Prospect Heights.
Monday’s discussion will be moderated by Rabbi Andy Bachman, who was supposed to host the initial event at Powerhouse Arena, an independent bookstore in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn. Leifer is a Jewish journalist who has written for a range of left-wing publications including Jewish Currents and +972, and Bachman, who previously led Park Slope’s Congregation Beth Elohim and identifies as a Zionist, is a progressive and a critic of the Israeli government.
The Powerhouse Arena event was initially set to take place this past Tuesday. But shortly before the start time, Leifer said he learned the event had been canceled because Bachman is a Zionist.
The bookstore "told me they were unwilling to host the conversation with Andy because they would not permit a Zionist on the premises," Leifer wrote on X.
The owner of the bookstore, Daniel Power, told the New York Jewish Week that a rogue employee had canceled the event and would be fired over the incident. "It’s hideous, it’s uncalled for, and it was completely unauthorized," he said.
On Thursday, the bookstore released a public statement condemning the employee’s decision to cancel the event, confirming she had been fired, and acknowledging "anti-Semetic [sic] hostility."
"Bookstores especially cannot fulfill their basic raison d’être without an unflinching commitment to the free and open exchange of ideas," the statement said.
The cancellation drew harsh criticism from Jewish leaders and public officials, including New York City comptroller and mayoral candidate Brad Lander (who also self-identified as a Zionist) and New York Reps. Dan Goldman and Ritchie Torres.
"We know and respect both Josh and Rabbi Bachman quite a lot and so it feels like a no-brainer from us, from a community perspective," said Rabbi Matt Green, co-founder of the Center for New Jewish Culture, about why the venue decided to host the event.
"The Center for New Jewish Culture is founded on the idea that we need to have difficult conversations, and I would say we need to have conversations that really impact the Jewish people right now, and this obviously is one," he added.
The term "Zionist" has become pejorative in parts of the American left, with progressive groups, business owners and college students actively seeking to exclude "Zionists" from public spaces. Surveys show that most Jews in the United States feel an attachment to Israel.
The cancellation incident was the latest instance since Hamas ..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,... ’s October 7 attack of Jews facing isolation in the arts world over Israel. Controversy over the Israel-Hamas war has embroiled other literary spaces since October 7. A viral list targeting "Zionist" authors circulated online, a Jewish sponsor of the National Book Awards withdrew from the ceremony due to an effort to call for a ceasefire, and PEN America canceled an annual festival due to disputes over the war.
Last month, a manager at a reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... bookstore, City Lit, withdrew Gabrielle Zevin’s popular book "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow" from consideration for a book club because she claimed that Zevin — who has not spoken publicly about her views on Israel — was a "Zionist." The bookstore later apologized for the decision but did not apologize to Zevin.
An online petition launched earlier this week demanding more Jewish and Zionist representation in independent bookstores, including Powerhouse, has garnered more than 700 signatures.

[IsraelTimes] Unconfirmed report from war monitor says three-Iran backed fighters were killed in attacks on makeshift petrol stations affiliated with Hezbollah in Homs, weapons depots in Hama
The Syrian defense ministry accused Israel of carrying out Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s on several sites in the center of the war-torn country on Friday night.
"At approximately 7:35 pm (1635 GMT), the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of northern Leb ...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... , targeting a number of sites in the central region," it said, adding that seven civilians were maimed.
A war monitor said Israeli air strikes on Syria targeting positions of the army and its Lebanese ally Hezbollah killed three Iran-backed fighters on Friday.
"Israeli strikes have so far killed three pro-Iranian fighters and maimed about 10 others," the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
The Britannia-based war monitor said the strikes targeted "makeshift petrol stations affiliated to Hezbollah in the Homs countryside, and struck weapons depots belonging to the group as well as two Syrian army sites in the Hama countryside."
SOHR, which relies on a network of sources inside Syria, has been accused in the past of inflating regime losses.
Since the Syrian civil war erupted in 2011, Israel has carried out hundreds of strikes in the country, mainly targeting the army and its Iran-backed allies.
[POSTMILLENNIAL] Speaking from the US southern border on Thursday, GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons... announced that those found guilty of sex trafficking of women and kiddies will receive the death penalty . Trump also highlighted the victims of border czar Kamala Harris Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's' former mistress , under whom millions of illegal immigrants colonists have entered the country.
"With your vote, we will seal the border, stop the invasion, and launch the largest deportation effort in American history. We will impose tough new sentences on illegal alien criminals. These include a 10-year mandatory minimum sentence for anyone guilty of human smuggling, a guaranteed life sentence for anyone guilty of child trafficking, and a death penalty for anyone guilty of child or woman sex trafficking."
"We'll also impose the death penalty on major drug pushers and traffickers in other countries on their immigration papers. There's a statement that says 'death for narcos,' big letters, big, bold letters, 10 times the size of everything else on the page."
Trump had the families of those killed by illegal immigrants colonists in the US speak, talking about the pain and heartbreak they've endured following their loved ones' deaths.
The mother of Rachel Morin, who was allegedly murdered by an undocumented Democrat on a Maryland hiking trail who had reentered the US three times, broke down in tears as she recounted the day authorities told her they found her daughter's body.
"We're 1,800 from the border. And because of this open border, we've had, not just my daughter, we've actually had two in the same county" where illegal immigrants colonists have raped and murdered someone.
"We should be taking care of our country, our people. And the only way I believe that's gonna happen is if President Trump is re-elected as president."
The mother of Jocelyn Nungaray also spoke out, with the 12-year-old being allegedly murdered and raped by two illegal immigrants colonists. She recalled her daughter, saying she "had dreams to be famous," and was "her own personality."

We need to bring back a realistically applied Death Penalty process. The few death row inmate executions that are actually done, usually take about 20 years.

...we lost over 500,000 in a war to stop that in a population 1/10th the size of what it is today. The death penalty for violating the commitment to end that crime is not 'cruel or unusual'. Just release them into the general prison population will solve the 'timeliness' issue.

Far too much intelligence capability "sharing" already. Collection Management and Dissemination are not the problem. The much deeper challenge is as Thor states at number-1.
It's what you do with the knowledge that is so important. I speak here of political meddling and control issues. Failing to mind one's own business. Partnering with global change agents is where problems begin. The situation in Ukraine might be an example.

His death was confirmed by the Eritrean Human Rights Council (HRC), a UK-based organization.
Abrehe was arrested on September 17, 2018, shortly after publishing a book critical of Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki titled "Hagerey Eritrea" (My Country, Eritrea). He had been held at Carshelli prison in Asmara's capital, without formal charges or a fair trial.
A former Eritrean Liberation Front (ELF) member and later Eritrean People's Liberation Front (EPLF) member, Abrehe played a significant role in the struggle for Eritrea's independence. After independence in 1993, he held several key government positions, including Minister of Finance from 2001 to 2012.
Despite his high-ranking position, Abrehe publicly criticized the government's financial practices and the concentration of power in the hands of President Afwerki. His outspoken views led to his removal from office in 2012 and subsequent arrest in 2018.
Abrehe's health had been deteriorating, particularly after a liver transplant in 2009. His wife, Almaz Habtemariam, who was arrested alongside him in 2018, was released two years later without trial.

Russia views its capture as a strategic goal, since the city opens a bridgehead for an offensive on the Dnieper and Zaporozhye. Israel should label the ICC a terrorist organization and that any such 'warrants' it issues will be met with termination warrants for it's members. Ie, they issue one arrest warrant, EVERYONE working for the ICC gets on the Mossad death list. Be sure to peek under your bed, your pillow and buy a new cell phone for every use.

Apparently Israel is not a member state of the International Criminal Court and does not recognize the court's authority, though they have made presentations before the court.
Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin.
[ColonelCassad] A year ago, under rather murky circumstances, a plane crashed with Yevgeny Prigozhin and his associates in the leadership of the Wagner PMC, which in the 2010s became the largest PMC in history, surpassing the American PMC Blackwater/Academy.
Despite the funeral of the victims, versions are still actively discussed that Prigozhin did not die and simply went into hiding, living somewhere abroad, for example, in Africa.
Prigozhin's assessments are now inseparable from the assessments of the unsuccessful rebellion of 2023, for which no one was convicted, since the criminal cases were closed for reasons of political expediency related to the prevention of risks of civil war.
There remain political assessments of what happened on the part of the military-political leadership of the Russian Federation, which have remained, including in the biography of Yevgeny Prigozhin.
Regardless of whether Prigozhin actually died or cunningly went into the shadows, his deeds for the good of the country in Africa, Syria and Ukraine and the story of the failed military rebellion in the conditions of the ongoing war will remain in history. Well, and then the assessments will be based on the comparison of these deeds.
In any case, the history of Russia in the 10-20s of the 21st century can hardly be imagined without Yevgeny Prigozhin, regardless of whether he is alive or dead, he is now a historical figure.
Today marks one year since the death of Hero of Russia Yevgeny Prigozhin. On August 23, 2023, at about 18:40, a private jet, the Embraer Legacy 600, crashed over the Tver region, carrying him, the founder of the Wagner PMC Dmitry Utkin, and 8 other people.
This happened exactly two months after the start of the "March of Justice" - an attempt to establish justice in the country as he understood it, an undoubtedly controversial person with an imperfect past, who rescued his homeland in the most difficult moments, serving it as best he could. When the country called Prigozhin into the very mouth of the endless ten-year Donbass front, he followed his fighters into hell, not sitting in headquarters offices.
The Wagner PMC was perhaps the most successful Russian brand abroad, the prestige of the "musicians" was indisputable, their successes on the battlefields in different parts of the world were impeccable. And Prigozhin himself for a huge part of Russians is a synonym for the irreconcilable stubbornness that any Russian admires, even when seeing his hero off to the chopping block.
The campaign of Yermak of our days ended in failure. Prigozhin never crossed his Urals
[SUDANTRIBUNE] Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... has filed lawsuits against 12 alleged mercenaries from African and Arab countries, a government spokesperson said on Thursday, as the conflict between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) enters its fifth month.
The government accuses the RSF of using mercenaries from neighbouring countries in the conflict that erupted on April 15.
''Cases have been opened against 12 foreign mercenaries — and they will be tried later,'' Information Minister and government spokesperson Graham Abdel Gadir said.
He added that the public prosecutor has registered 15,868 cases against RSF leaders and members and issued arrest warrants for 16 of their collaborators.
In April, arrest warrants were issued for former Prime Minister Abdallah Hamdok and 16 other opposition leaders, accused of inciting war against the state. The coalition described the charges as malicious.
Abdel Gadir also said the RSF released 19,481 inmates from more than 39 prisons, leading to violations against civilians and looting.

he Wagner Group began its deployments in Sudan during the rule of former President Omar al-Bashir, who was forced from power in 2019 during large-scale protests.
Fearing that his rule was shaky, al-Bashir travelled to Russia in 2017 to meet with President Vladimir Putin and pitch Sudan to him as Russia’s “gateway to Africa” in return for Russian support. A short time later, Meroe Gold, a new mining company owned by the Russian company M Invest, began bringing Russian experts into Sudan, Africa’s third-largest producer of gold.
In 2020, the United States Department of the Treasury sanctioned M Invest and Meroe Gold, saying that its investigations had revealed that M Invest was a cover for the Wagner Group.
Sudan: The Wagner Group was “primarily aimed at guarding mineral resources, particularly gold mining resources, and acting as a support force for the Bashir government in terms of protecting it from international opposition”, Samuel Ramadi, author of the book Russia in Africa, told Al Jazeera.
[IsraelTimes] No injuries after more than 100 projectiles launched from Lebanon throughout day; military says among those it targeted were two members of Hezbollah’s rocket and missile unit
At least seven Hezbollah members were killed Friday in separate Israeli Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s on southern Leb ...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... , as the Iran-backed terrorist organization launched over 100 projectiles at the north throughout the day.
The strikes included the targeting of a Hezbollah cell preparing to shoot rockets from the village of Tayr Harfa. The other Hezbollah members were killed in separate attacks in Ayta al-Jabal, Mays al-Jabal, Aitaroun and Maarakeh.
According to the Israel Defense Forces, the airstrike in Ayta al-Jabal targeted Muhammad Najam, a prominent member of Hezbollah’s rocket and missile unit in southern Lebanon. Lebanese media reported that alongside Najam, his nephew Zulfiqar Radwan was also killed in the strike on Ayta al-Jabal.
The military also identified Saeed Mahmoud Diab, who was killed in Maarakeh by an IDF drone, as a member of Hezbollah’s rocket and missile unit.
The IDF said the operative in Mays al-Jabal had launched rockets at the Yiftah area earlier in the day and was killed upon being spotted at a building used by Hezbollah, while the operative in Aitaroun was struck shooting projectiles toward Malkia.
Hezbollah later released statements announcing seven members were killed "on the road to Jerusalem," its term for operatives slain in Israeli strikes, naming Najam among them.
Their deaths brought Hezbollah’s declared toll to at least 427 since it began attacking northern Israel a day after the October 7 terror onslaught from Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... by its Paleostinian ally Hamas ..one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede,... .
The Israeli strikes followed several Hezbollah attacks in the morning, including the firing of missiles at the Mount Meron base.
Hezbollah has attacked Mount Meron, located some eight kilometers (5 miles) from the Lebanon border, several times amid the ongoing war, launching large barrages of rockets toward the site, as well as guided missiles at the sensitive air traffic control base that sits atop it.
The IDF reported no injuries in the latest attack, during which three projectiles were fired at the base, one of which was intercepted.
Hezbollah also launched several rocket volleys at northern Israel on Friday, including a fusillade of some 40 projectiles fired at the Kiryat Shmona area and a salvo of around 20 rockets targeting Safed and its surroundings.
No injuries were reported in any of the attacks.
The IDF said some of the rockets fired toward Safed and Kiryat Shmona were shot down by air defenses, while the rest struck open areas.
However,
the hip bone's connected to the leg bone... there were several impacts in Kiryat Shmona following another Hezbollah rocket barrage Friday night, with one home set ablaze after being struck by a projectile.
Some of the rockets also sparked forest fires near Safed, which were extinguished hours later. The IDF later said it destroyed a Hezbollah rocket launcher in at-Tiri that was used in the barrage on Safed.
Since October 8, Hezbollah-led forces have attacked Israeli communities and military posts along the border on a near-daily basis. So far, the skirmishes have resulted in 26 civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of 19 IDF soldiers and reservists. There have also been several attacks from Syria, without any injuries.
In addition to the 427 members whose deaths Hezbollah has announced during the ongoing skirmishes, mostly in Lebanon but some also in Syria, another 73 operatives from other terror groups have been killed in Lebanon by Israeli strikes. A Lebanese soldier and dozens of civilians have also been killed.

[AFRICANEWS] The Democratic Republic of the Congo ...formerly the Congo Free State, Belgian Congo, Zaire, and who knows what else, not to be confused with the Brazzaville Congo aka Republic of Congo, which is much smaller and much more (for Africa) stable. DRC gave the world Patrice Lumumba and Joseph Mobutu, followed by years of tedious civil war. Its principle industry seems to be the production of corpses. With a population of about 74 million it has lots of raw material... (DRC) is facing worsening turmoil, as ongoing conflicts have displaced millions and strained relations with neighboring countries.
The region, rich in natural resources, has been plagued by violence for decades, with rebel groups like the Allied Democratic Forces ...established in the early 1990s through an agreement between portions of Uganda’s Salaf Tabliq Islamic sect and the National Army for the Liberation of Uganda (NALU), who said they had been sidelined by Museveni’s policies. At the time, the rebels staged deadly attacks in Ugandan villages and the capital, including a 1998 attack in which 80 students were massacred. A Ugandan military operation later forced the ADF into eastern Congo. The ADF has since established ties with the Islamic State group. The ADF has received funding from the Government of Sudan, which has also provided supplies and training. The ADF may also have received funding from the illegal mining and logging industries of the DRC.... (ADF) and M23 fueling the conflict.
Refugees like Arthur Masimango, who fled to Uganda after his father was killed by rebels, represent the human toll of this crisis. "We were unsafe," Masimango recalls, highlighting the desperation that has driven thousands to seek safety across borders.
The violence in Eastern DRC has claimed around six million lives over three decades, and nearly seven million people have been displaced. Despite international efforts, the conflict's impact is felt across the Great Lakes region, disrupting trade, displacing populations, and stalling progress.
There are accusations against Rwanda for allegedly supporting the M23 militia, complicating peace efforts. Experts stress the need for unified regional leadership to address the crisis and bring lasting stability to the DRC and its neighbors.
[Breitbart] Special Counsel Jack Smith reversed course in his quest to seek expedited hearings in his Washington, DC, case against former President Donald Trump.
Smith sought the hearings to determine which actions that Trump allegedly took he could charge in his election interference case against the president.
The Supreme Court’s July 1 decision that presidents enjoy partial immunity for actions taken in office in an official capacity spurred Smith to alter his approach.
Before Smith relented in his latest push to expedite the increasingly shaky case, Judge Tanya Chutkan had planned to hold hearings in the fall to determine which of Trump’s acts were official acts subject to prosecution.
That determination will now occur after the election — if it occurs at all.
Chutkan is likely to announce the path forward in a September 5 hearing.
Smith’s case against Trump in Chutkan’s court continues to hit roadblocks. His appointment itself was ruled unconstitutional in a Florida court.
If Trump wins the presidency, Smith’s case — and his appointment — are all but certain to come to an end.

[JustTheNews] The poll found that 54% of respondents said they believe illegal immigrants will vote in November, and 75% of respondents said they do not support allowing illegal immigrants to vote in federal elections.
The majority of respondents in a poll published Friday said they believe a large amount of people who are in the country illegally will actually vote in November's general election.
The poll, conducted by the Napolitan News Service, found that 54% of respondents said they believe illegal immigrants will vote in November, and 75% of respondents said they do not support allowing illegal immigrants to vote in federal elections.
An even larger percentage of the survey takers (87%) support requiring voter ID in order to vote in federal elections, according to the poll.
The poll comes as Republicans in Congress attempt to push through the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which requires voters to prove their citizenship in the United States in order to vote in federal elections. The bill has passed the House, but not the Senate.
And it won’t pass in the Senate so long as the Democrats have a majority.
The survey polled 1,000 Registered Voters on Aug. 20, and 21. It has a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points.

[Breitbart] Republicans have filed a lawsuit to block President Joe Biden’s “Parole in Place” amnesty for at least 500,000 illegal migrants.
“Under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the federal government is actively working to turn the United States into a nation without borders and a country without laws. I will not let this happen,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said in an August 23 statement. He added:
Biden’s new parole workaround unilaterally grants the opportunity for citizenship to unvetted aliens whose first act on American soil was to break our laws. This violates the Constitution and actively worsens the illegal immigration disaster that is hurting Texas and our country.
“This executive [office] amnesty gives over one million illegals legal status, work permits, and a path to voting citizenship,” said Stephen Miller, who is part of the lawsuit. “It is brazenly unlawful, a deadly accelerant to the ruinous border invasion, and we will use every lawful tool to stop it.”
Miller’s American First Legal law firm is a party to the lawsuit along with 16 Attorneys General.
Biden announced the amnesty in June after intense lobbying by Mark Zuckerberg’s lobby group for West Coast investors, FWD.us.
Biden’s Cuban-born, pro-migration border chief, Alejandro Mayorkas, is rushing migrants through the amnesty process, despite the near-inevitability of large-scale married fraud.
ABC News reported on August 21:
Cecilia sat in front of her computer repeatedly refreshing the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services webpage on Monday, waiting for the application for the Biden administration’s “Keeping Families Together” program to show up on her screen.
Minutes later, she clicked it open and submitted the form in less than 20 minutes.
A little more than 24 hours later, she got an e-mail sharing the news that she had been waiting 20 years to hear.
“Cecilia has already applied for her work permit and plans to apply for lawful permanent residence status as soon as she’s able to,” ABC reported.
Mayorkas has already used ambiguities in the parole law to import more than one million economic migrants since 2022.
Mayorkas is also pushing a second Biden amnesty from June, dubbed the D-3 amnesty, that uses parole to legalize up to 500,000 illegals who have the qualifications to apply for the college jobs sought by U.S. college graduates.
AMNESTY POLITICS
The dangled amnesty is also pulling potential voters toward Kamala Harris, FWD.us told NBC News:
According to FWD.us, a pro-immigration group that advocated for the program, Arizona has some 15,000 people eligible for parole in place. Though they themselves can’t vote, they are all married to U.S. citizens who can, and are otherwise embedded in families and communities full of citizens who will benefit indirectly from the policy.
Considering that Biden won Arizona in 2020 with 10,457 votes and considering that polling shows razor-thin margins between Harris and Trump, the political impact of the parole in place program could be decisive.
In general, Democrats want amnesty because it imposes diversity on Americans’ society, wins votes from migrants, and strengthens their allies with investors, such as the consumer-economy investors represented by FWD.us.
[JustTheNews] The policy was implemented in January, but until now, state regulations had spared migrants from the 60-day limits on shelter stays.
New York City is moving to enforce a 60-day limit on stays in the city's emergency shelter system, a move city officials say will hasten the eviction of many of the 30,000 migrant families living in shelters.
The New York Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance said the state has granted the city permission to begin issuing 60-day eviction notices to migrants and other homeless families not receiving public assistance.
The policy was implemented in January, but until now, state regulations had spared migrants from the 60-day limits on shelter stays. Homeless families living in other shelters run by the city have been subject to the policy for months.
More than 30,000 migrants are staying in shelters run by the city's Department of Homeless Services, spread across 150 hotels, large-scale emergency housing sites and other locations.
“People should not be in shelters their entire lives," New York City Mayor Eric Adams said at a press briefing. “This is traumatizing, and I don’t know if any of you have seen what it is, but it is traumatizing to live in these conditions.”
Homeless advocates have urged the city to halt the time limits on shelter stays, calling them "cruel and disruptive" for vulnerable families who are just settling into schools and communities.
"Shelters have always been designed to be a temporary stop-gap until families can get on their feet, but without inclusive and supportive housing solutions, our shelter system will remain overburdened and our families will continue to fall through the cracks," the New York Immigration Coalition said in a statement.
City officials said they plan to evict migrants on a rolling basis and will be helping connect them with alternative housing. They say some families can reapply for shelter if they have nowhere else to go.
“We’re telling people that they have 60 days and that they can see if there’s other places, other family members,” Deputy Mayor Anne Williams-Isom said during a briefing.
The city also plans on moving about 800 migrants from a large shelter on Randall's Island as part of a crackdown on tent encampments set up next to the shelter by migrants who have maxed out their stay.
New York City has had an influx of more than 210,000 asylum seekers over the past year and a historic surge of immigration along the U.S.-Mexico border, a crisis that Adams said is "not going away."
The city is providing housing, food and other necessities for more than 60,000 migrants in more than 200 temporary "humanitarian" shelters. Adams estimates the city will need to spend $12 billion on migrants through 2025.
Republicans have long said New York City's "sanctuary" policies are encouraging asylum seekers to resettle in the city amid the surge of immigration.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] …own floors and deal with cockroach infestation
A school district in San Francisco with significant attainment gaps has splurged $315,000 on an 'energy healer' who uses 'chakra clearing' while teachers have to sweep their own floors and face a nasty cockroach infestation.
A group of parents recently uncovered that Mountain View Whisman School District has been paying 'Master Energy Healer & Intuitive Guide' Alycia Diggs-Chavis to conduct 160 guided meditation sessions for the district's leadership team, the SF Chronicle reported. While her zen sessions have brought 'increased ability to focus, higher levels of engagement, and enhanced productivity and efficiency' to administrators, both parents and the 4,500 students have been left to fend for themselves. Frustrated parents also found that the district - run by Superintendent Ayindé Rudolph - has been paying a public relations firm and executive coach to guide staff.

Meanwhile, a former teacher said the district never splashed out cash on them, leaving her to become a custodian for her own bug-infested classroom while administrators were excused for the day to attend their funded programs.
...there are alternatives. Of course it might eat into DEI indoctrination time.
[Red State] One member of Trump's personal protective detail and four members of the Pittsburgh Field Office, including the special agent in charge, have been identified for possible disciplinary action. One of the five agents was also the event coordinator.
We'll soon know if this is a real investigation or a coverup. The decision to deprive Trump of adequate protection was made far above the Pittsburgh Field Office. If all the blame is placed on a handful of field agents and a pyramid of (figurative) heads isn't built outside Secret Service headquarters in Washington, then all we're seeing is a coverup perpetrated, and Congress should not stand by and let it happen.

‘the USSS Special Agent in Charge Tim Burke reportedly told law enforcement partners that the USSS had limited resources that week because the agency was covering the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit in Washington, D.C.’
Should have been covered by Department of State's (DoS) Bureau of Deiplomatic Security.... or have responsibilities changed ?
#6
NATO is obviously a military function, so US military police, military CI, and FBI could have be used to cover such an event. The more I think about Agent Burke's response, the more implausible it appears.
#9
Fox News reported this morning that a Secret Service whistleblower has reported that "additional resources were request for Butler, but were denied."
One might suppose the 'denial' would have come from former Secret Service Director Cheatle, friend of Dr. Jill.
Not suggesting any pre-Butler rally collusion of course.
#10
That fooking kurva Cheatle, Jill's chum and one who allegedly wanted to destroy the cocaine evidence from that crack house located at 1600 Penna. Ave.
#12
@#3 - my hunch is that the event was designated a National Security Special Event (NSSE) due to POTUS presence. USSS would have the lead. DS would cover visiting Foreign Ministers and DoD would cove visiting Defense Ministers.

An infinite number of things could happen, General. Almost all of them won’t, however.
[GEOTV] Retired Israeli Major-General Yitzhak Brik cautioned on Thursday that Israel could face ''collapse within a year'' if its current war against Palestinian group, Hamas, and Lebanese movement, Hezbollah, continues.
''The country really is galloping towards the edge of an abyss,'' Brik said in an opinion piece, which was published by Israeli daily, Haaretz.
Ha’aretz prides itself on being the New York Times of Israel. And like the original New York Times, it used to have a large and profitable circulation.
''If the war of attrition against Hamas and Hezbollah continues, Israel will collapse within no more than a year," he added.
[FoxNews] U.S. Central Command announced Friday that forces in Syria had successfully killed terrorist group senior leader Abu-'Abd al-Rahman al-Makki.
According to CENTCOM, al-Makki was killed in a "targeted kinetic strike" in Syria.
Al-Makki was a council member and senior leader with Hurras al-Din, which is ideologically aligned with Al-Qaeda in Syria. He was responsible for overseeing terrorist operations for the group in the Middle Eastern nation.
In a statement, the ministry said the murderous Moslems were arrested in the provinces of Tehran, Alborz, Fars, and Khuzestan.
''Fourteen elements of the US-Zionist-led group known as ISIS-Khorasan (ISIS—K) were identified and arrested by the order of the respected judicial authority,'' read the statement.
It added that the murderous Moslems had entered the country illegally in the last few days with the aim of carrying out terrorist operations.
''Of these, 7 ISIS elements were arrested in Fars province and 7 murderous Moslems were arrested in Tehran, Alborz and Khuzestan provinces,'' the ministry explained, adding that the results of the investigations and interrogations will be published later.

[Regnum] An evacuation has been announced in the Icelandic city of Grindavik due to a volcanic eruption on the Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland. This was reported on August 23 by the state broadcaster RUV, citing the Icelandic Meteorological Centre.
The eruption of the Sundhnukur volcano began on August 22 at 21:26 local time (August 23 at 00:26 Moscow time). Eleven minutes later, the authorities declared a state of emergency. By now, all people have been evacuated from the dangerous area.
The height of the volcanic emissions reached four kilometers. In an hour and a half, the lava moved about 1.2 kilometers to the south, toward the town of Grindavik. Professor of geophysics Magnus Gudmundsson, who surveyed Sundhnukur by helicopter, suggested that there would not be a strong lava flow in Grindavik, which scientists feared. Experts continue to monitor the volcano.
There are a total of 33 active volcanic systems on the peninsula. It is noted that an eruption of similar power was last observed in December 2023. And the last eruption of the volcano was recorded in May 2024. The Sundhnukur volcano has erupted for the seventh time since 2021, when it woke up after an 800-year "hibernation".
Earlier, Regnum News Agency reported that a small amount of ashfall from the Shiveluch volcano erupting in Kamchatka was recorded on August 18 in two populated areas of the region. A small amount of volcanic ash fell in the villages of Ust-Kamchatsk and Krutoberegovo in the Ust-Kamchatsky District. The Shiveluch volcano has been assigned an orange aviation hazard code, and lava is being squeezed out
At the end of July, the Bezymyanny volcano in Kamchatka ejected a column of ash to a height of 12 kilometers, the plume stretched for 300 kilometers. Due to the explosive eruption of the volcano, the tourist route "Around the Tolbachiks" in the Klyuchevsky Nature Park was closed. In the coming month, volcanologists expect a powerful eruption of the Bezymyanny volcano with an ash emission to a height of six to 15 kilometers above sea level.

[NY Post] Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, may be the current world-class champ of presidential-family shady dealings, but not for long. If Kamala Harris wins the White House, her brother-in-law, Tony West, who is married to her sister Maya, is poised to claim the crooked crown.
Like Hunter, West learned his craft in the Obama years. Then head of the Justice Department’s Civil Division, he invented a new form of what 19th-early 20th centuries Tammany boss George Washington Plunkett famously called "Honest Graft."
It was simple. Until 1977, Congress had to approve any settlement of a civil suit against the Federal government over $100,000. This preserved the Constitutional requirement that Congress control the government’s purse. But in that year, seeking relief from the burgeoning volume of suits to review, Congress removed the cap, handing the Justice Department a permanent blank check to pay settlements unilaterally, in any amount, out of an account known as the Judgment Fund.

During the special operation, security forces eliminated all four criminals. There were no casualties among the FSIN employees who took part in the release of the hostages.
The Federal Penitentiary Service expressed deep condolences to the families and friends of the employees who died in the line of duty. They will be provided with all necessary assistance.
As previously reported by IA Regnum, special forces eliminated four prisoners who had taken hostages in IK-19, all hostages were rescued. Snipers of the special forces of the Russian Guard neutralized the attackers with four precise shots.
On August 23, a group of prisoners took several FSIN employees hostage at a disciplinary commission meeting in a Volgograd penal colony. The attackers demanded $2 million and a helicopter, as well as the opportunity to leave Russia via the border with Georgia.
The head of the correctional colony IK-19 in Surovikino, Volgograd region, Andrei Devyatov, who was wounded during the hostage taking, was sent by helicopter to a hospital in Volgograd.
The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on the fact of hostage-taking in the Volgograd Region under Part 4 of Article 206 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Taking of hostages”) and Part 3 of Article 321 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Disorganization of the activities of institutions that ensure isolation from society”).
[IsraelTimes] Snipers from Russia’s National Guard on Friday killed four inmates who had stabbed four prison guards to death and briefly held others as hostages while declaring allegiance to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group.
The Federal Prison Service said that four inmates took eight prison guards and four inmates hostage. It said they stabbed four of the guards, three of whom went titzup and the fourth one later died at a hospital. The agency said three other guards were hospitalized with injuries.
Russia’s National Guard said its snipers "neutralized" all four attackers, freeing all the hostages, while the Federal Prison Service also claimed credit for killing the assailants.
The discrepancy could not be immediately explained. Details of the violence at the prison in Surovkino in the Volgograd region, 860 kilometers southeast of Moscow, were sparse and it was not clear how the inmates had taken hostages several hours earlier.
Videos that purportedly came from the scene and circulated on Russian media and messaging app channels showed men wielding knives inside and in a prison yard and several men in what appeared to be guard uniforms lying in blood on the ground.
In the videos, the alleged attackers claimed support for the Islamic State group and for the suspects arrested in the March terrorist attack on a Moscow concert hall that left 145 people dead. An ISIS affiliate grabbed credit for that attack, in which button men killed patrons waiting for a popular music group to perform and set the building on fire.

The state news agency Tass said court records showed that the hostage-takers were from former Soviet Central Asian countries; all the concert hall attack suspects are from Tajikistan.

According to the website of Yemen's "Al-Masira" network, in the first Yemeni operation, the oil ship "SOUNION" belonging to a company that cooperates with the Zionist enemy, was attacked by the Yemeni armed forces in the Red Sea and the ship is sinking.
According to this report, in the second operation, the ship "Sw North Wind I" was targeted in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea, which also belongs to a company related to the Zionist regime.
In these two operations, Yemeni naval, drone and missile forces participated.

Around the year 1900 there was the Heshamite kingdom of Transjordan and there was Yemen. There was no Saudi because the Saudi lived in Kuwait and were a favored warlord for protecting British caravans from the far east.
Then the British found oil on the Arabian peninsula. But the British will sware up and down that they did not find oil yet, even though they did.
Then the British made a deal with the warlord Saudis living in Kuwait.
The British would supply the money, the weapons, the strategic planning, the political support all around the world, and the Saudis would supply the puppet figurehead.
The British, using the Saudis conquered the southern part of Transjordan and the northern part of Yemen and established a new country called Saudi Arabia. (THIS COUNTRY SHOULD NOT EXIST,AND IRAN KNOWS IT)
But now, it has been discovered that under Yemen there is more oil than the Saudis had, plus there is natural gas the Saudido not have.
So, the race was on to conquer Yemen.
That is why the US, using Saudi (again) bombed Yemen for the last 12 years

[NYPOST] A suspect has been arrested in Haiti for the brutal shooting deaths of a Missouri politician's daughter and son-in-law alongside the director of a missionary they were working for, police announced this week.
Benice Celestin, 52, was arrested this week in connection with the deadly May 23 ambush on the Missions in Haiti Inc. campus in northern Port-au-Prince, the Haitian National Police said Wednesday while releasing a video of him in jug.
Missouri State Rep. Ben Baker also announced the arrest in the murders of his daughter Natalie Baker Lloyd, 21, and her husband, Davy Lloyd, 23. Both were killed alongside Missions in Haiti Inc.'s director, Jude Montis, in the shooting spree by alleged gang members.
Celestin used Davy Lloyd's phone SIM card the day after the murders, the local outlet Vant Bef Info reported, citing local authorities.
[Epoch Times] Spike protein from SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, potentially promotes cancer by interfering with anti-cancer activities, according to a recent peer-reviewed study from Brown University. The article was first published as a preprint on April 15; the peer-reviewed version was published on May 3.
The study authors, led by Dr. Wafik El-Deiry, director of the Cancer Center at Brown University, exposed cancer cells to spike protein subunits. They found that the spike subunits may promote cancer survival and growth by blocking a cancer suppressor gene known as p53.
Dr. El-Deiry’s study was designed to test whether the SARS-CoV-2 virus or its viral subunits could promote cancer activities.
However, the study further implied that SARS-CoV-2 therapeutics like the COVID-19 mRNA and protein vaccines may yield similar effects.
"Our goal was to study spike protein regardless of its origin," Dr. El-Deiry told The Epoch Times. "We focused on spike that may come from infection or any other way it can be expressed in human cells... this would also apply to vaccine-made spike."
Dr. El-Deiry was careful to highlight the many limitations of his study, including that it was a simple cell culture study. Additionally, with differing spike variations in the different viral strains and vaccines, the health consequences they may have require more research. But of course!

[AFRICANEWS] Armed men killed at least 13 farmers during an attack in north-central Nigeria, a local official said Thursday.
No group immediately grabbed credit for the killings that took place on Wednesday in the state of Niger .
Akilu Isyaku, a local government official, told the local radio station Crystal FM that herders and kidnappers are suspected in the attack. He suggested the farmers were killed for providing information to intelligence agencies about the movements of the button men.
North-central Nigeria has been plagued by fights for control over water and land between nomadic herders and rural farmers. The violence has killed hundreds in the region so far this year.
Once armed with sticks, the two sides now fight with guns that have been smuggled into the country. Both accuse the government of injustice and marginalization, but the festivities have also taken on a religious dimension, giving rise to militias that side with the herders, who are primarily Moslem, or the farmers from Christian communities.
The area is also known as a place of frequent kidnappings. Last week, button menkidnapped at least 20 students during an ambush in Benue state.
Police say the attack happened during a festival in the city centre on Friday evening. The attacker is believed to be still on the lam.
Bild website says a man randomly stabbed passers-by. A manhunt is now under way, with police helicopters seen hovering above the city.
The attack happened during the festival marking 650 years of Solingen.
The city authorities asked people to leave the Fronhof market area and police are imposing security cordons.
Emergency crews at the scene are now treating the injured, media reports say.
Philipp Muller, one of the concert co-organisers, said the emergency crews were fighting for the lives of nine people, the Solinger Tageblatt newspaper reports.
"People are shocked, but left the square peacefully," Mr Muller said.
An unknown assailant has killed three people and seriously injured four more with a knife, according to police. The attack took place as the city of Solingen was celebrating its 650th anniversary.
Philipp Müller, one of the co-organizers, said paramedics are fighting to save the lives of nine people.
The incident took place at Fronhof, a marketplace in the center of the city, where a stage had been set up for live music.
Authorities asked residents to leave the city center, according to the Solinger Tageblatt.
The police have issued a major alert and declared a manhunt. Armed officers are currently on the scene and have cordoned off large areas of the city. There are barriers all over the city. According to the German daily Bild, heavily armed SEK units with about 40 special vehicles from all over North Rhine-Westphalia had been deployed to Solingen. Road junctions have been blocked and residents have been asked to stay indoors and avoid the city center, the publication said.
Solingen has a population of about 160,000. It is located near the larger cities of Cologne and Düsseldorf in Germany's most populous state, North Rhine-Westphalia.
At least three people were reportedly killed and several others were left in serious condition after a mass stabbing at a “Festival of Diversity” in the German city of Solingen on Friday evening.
UPDATE 2315: Germany’s Bild newspaper has reported that eyewitnesses said that they saw an “Arab-looking man” flee from the scene of the attack. The suspect is still at large at the time of this reporting.
Looks like we have Sudden Jihad Syndrome. Odds are good the knifeman was a known refugee who had recently been rejected by the authorities, was receiving mental health treatment, a petty criminal, and had known connections jihadis or jihad-linked organizations.
Tragedy struck as the city of Solingen celebrated its 650th anniversary with a “Festival of Diversity” as a reported mass stabbing took place as festival goers gathered in the city centre.
According to the local Solinger Tageblatt newspaper, citing two sources at the scene, the believed knife attack left three people dead, six others were seriously injured, and another was injured.

Cops have launched a desperate manhunt for the killer who committed the 'brutal and senseless' strike at 9.45pm before fleeing - leaving a woman and two men from Solingen and nearby Dusseldorf dead.
Police are said to be classifying it as a terrorist attack, according to Bild. Germany's armed special police officers have been deployed to assist at the scene.
Police spokesperson Alexander Kresta said: 'We would like to have a precise description of the perpetrator. That is difficult. Witnesses are in shock or can't speak at the moment.
'We assume [it is] a single offender. He's on the run. He killed three people at the city festival and seriously injured at least four. So we can't say that he's not dangerous.
Germany's top security official, interior minister Nancy Faeser, recently proposed toughening weapons laws to allow only knives with a blade measuring up to 6cm (nearly 2.4in) to be carried in public, rather than the length of 12cm (4.7in), which is allowed now.
The country has seen a series of knife attacks over the past 12 months.
The attacker specifically targeted victims’ throats and necks, Röhrl added.

The police report is said to have stated: “A witness injured in the crime stated that the unknown suspect was ‘known from Solingen’ and that he was also a visitor to a local mosque. A witness reported that the suspect shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ during his crimes.”

Solingen stabbing suspect detained, local minister says
Police have arrested a main suspect following the knife attack in Solingen, Interior Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, Herbert Reul told German TV.
The minister spoke of a "real suspect" who police had been looking for all day, after a third person had been arrested in connection with the incident.
"They were very probably, still cautiously speaking, not the ones we really suspected," said Reul with regard to the two previous arrests.
"I myself am a bit relieved at the moment," the minister added. "I can only tell you that it is now more than a hunch. Not only did we have a lead on this person, but we've also found pieces of evidence."
The arrested suspect's clothes were dirty and covered in blood, the German news magazine Der Spiegel quoted security sources as saying.
Also, from an earlier post:
One person was arrested in a refugee center in Solingen on Saturday evening, a day after the stabbing rampage that left three people dead and five injured. A police spokesman told the DPA news agency that investigations were continuing.
Whether the detainee is suspected of being the attacker, authorities did not say. Links to the attack are still being investigated, the police spokesman said.
Earlier in the day, police detained a 15-year-old who allegedly had prior knowledge of the attack.

[Regnum] The Armavir City Court issued the first sentence to participants in the mass riots at the Makhachkala airport in October 2023; five defendants in the criminal case were sentenced to prison terms ranging from six years and four months to nine years. This was reported on August 23 by the united press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory.
“The court sentenced the following people to imprisonment: [ Anvarbek ] Atayev — six years and four months; [ Islam ] Ibragimov — six years and four months; [ Magomed ] Omaraskhabov — six years and four months; [ Salik ] Ramazanov — six years and four months; [ Rabadan ] Radzhabov — for the totality of the crimes committed, by partial addition of the sentences — nine years,” the press service’s Telegram channel said.
All defendants were found guilty under Part 2 of Article 212 of the Russian Criminal Code (“Participation in mass riots”), and Radzhabov was also found guilty under Part 1 of Article 318 of the Russian Criminal Code (“Use of violence against a government official”).
It is noted that the said individuals participated in crowd riots at the call of the organizers out of national and religious hatred and enmity after the arrival of a plane from Tel Aviv at the Makhachkala airport.
"The defendants, in search of passengers on a flight from Tel Aviv, together with a crowd, broke through the cordon, broke down the doors of the terminal and broke into the aircraft parking lot. The actions of the defendants and other individuals (more than 1,500, 136 of whom have been identified) led to a complete blockade of the airport's operations," the statement added.
The defendants did not admit their guilt. They will serve their sentences in a general regime penal colony.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, on the evening of October 29, 2023, over 1,200 people rioted at the Uytash airport in Makhachkala, breaking into the airport building and then onto the airfield. There they surrounded a bus with passengers from a plane arriving at the airport from Tel Aviv.
The riots occurred against the backdrop of the escalation of the Middle East conflict and the situation in the Gaza Strip. Security forces stopped the actions of the hooligans, and the passengers of the flight were not harmed.
The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on this fact under Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Mass riots"). Law enforcement officers detained 60 participants in the riots on the spot, and then another 20 people involved in them.
On October 30, 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the riots at Makhachkala airport were organized by Western intelligence agents. The head of state added that they were organized through social networks, including from Ukraine.
On July 9, Dagestan Interior Minister Abdurashid Magomedov said that 140 participants in the riots at Makhachkala airport were in custody. According to him, another 1,200 people from among the rioters were brought to administrative responsibility.
The court issued a harsh sentence in the case of the pogrom at the Makhachkala airport, without evidence of the defendants' guilt, the sentence will be appealed, the lawyers and relatives of the convicted stated. In such cases, it is difficult to achieve acquittal in an appeal, the head of the Dagestan POC believes.
As reported by "Kavkazsky Uzel", the Armavir City Court twice postponed the start of the hearing of the case of riots at the Makhachkala airport against five defendants - Anvarbek Atayev, Islam Ibragimov, Magomed Omaraskhabov, Rabadan Radzhabov and Salik Ramazanov. The arrest of the accused was extended until December 30. At the hearing of the Armavir City Court on the case of riots at the Makhachkala airport, the state prosecutor asked to sentence the five defendants to terms of seven to 10 years. Today, the court sentenced the defendants to terms of six years, four months to nine years.
On October 29, 2023, mass riots occurred at the Makhachkala airport due to the announcement of the arrival of a plane with passengers from Israel. More than 20 people were injured in the riots, 140 people are in custody, 1,200 people were brought to administrative responsibility. The accused claim that they were at the airport, but did not take part in the riots, noted the chairman of the Public Monitoring Commission of Dagestan Shamil Khadulaev on June 13. What happened at the Uytash airport and how the investigation is going is described in the "Caucasian Knot" report " The case of the pogrom at the Makhachkala airport ".
Magomed Omaraskhabov's lawyer Laila Ubaidulaeva believes the sentence is extremely harsh. "This sentence can be called absolutely illegal. Guilt must be confirmed by evidence, and here there is no evidence, but there is a very harsh sentence. This is unfair. The court ignored the lack of evidence and issued a knowingly illegal sentence," she told the "Caucasian Knot".
The verdict will be appealed soon. "We will definitely appeal the verdict as soon as we receive all the necessary materials. If the decision is upheld, we will go to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. We will go to the very end. Other lawyers are also planning to appeal the verdict," she noted.
Omaraskhabov's mother does not believe that the court handed down such a harsh sentence. "I knew that there would be a guilty verdict, I was prepared for it, but I was not prepared for my son to be given more than six years. This is a monstrous decision, such sentences cannot be handed down," she told a "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, barely holding back tears.
According to her, the convicts were steadfast, but were unhappy with the verdict. "They tried to calm me down. But it was clear that they did not expect such a verdict, they were in shock, but they kept their cool," she noted.
Gulya, the mother of Salik Ramazanov, who was sentenced to six years and four months, also did not expect "that they could give such a long term for being at the airport." "He did nothing there, he did not beat anyone, did not break or destroy anything. He was just standing there, he ended up at the airport by accident. During all these court hearings, no one brought up even one fact of his guilt," she told the "Caucasian Knot."
According to her, the lawyers of all the convicted are going to appeal the sentence. "Of course, we will appeal. Everyone will. What did they give him six years for? For working as a taxi driver, taking clients to the airport, getting interested himself and just standing there, watching what was happening, for that? This is complete lawlessness. Real provocateurs and violators are not tried, but our guys were sentenced so harshly. He is 27 years old, not married yet, he will spend six years of his life in prison for nothing. He is very kind, has never broken the law, has no problems with law enforcement agencies, such people should not be imprisoned," she noted.
Gulya also said that the convicts themselves reacted calmly to the verdict. "They are real men. They did not show any emotions. They were calm and even calmed us down in the courtroom," she said.
The Chairman of the Public Chamber of Dagestan, Shamil Khadulaev, also considers the sentence to be harsh. "This is a fairly harsh sentence, considering that, as the lawyers said, there is no evidence of the guilt of these guys in the case. If they were simply present there, did not beat anyone or break anything, then the sentence can be called harsh," he told a "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to him, the sentence should be appealed, but there is little chance of changing the decision. "Practice shows that in such cases, the terms are not reduced. They leave the court's decision in force. They can reduce it by six months at most, but no more," he noted.

Perhaps the same title is also worthy of the settlements of the Kursk border region, where battles are currently underway with the heirs of the Nazi aggressors who have invaded our land - armed, as 81 years ago, with European (including German) equipment and in whose ranks there are many uninvited "guests" from the West - both mercenaries and ideological Nazis.
August 23 marks 81 years since the end of one of the bloodiest battles in human history – the Battle of Kursk. Continuous fighting on the two-hundred-kilometer salient of the front, in the center of which was the city of Kursk, continued for almost two months, starting on July 5. The arc, we recall, was formed by March 1943, when, after the third battle for Kharkov, which was unsuccessful for the Red Army, the enemy recaptured both Kharkov and Belgorod. Continued on Page 49

In 2019, 57 scientists and crew embarked on a 54-day journey to the farthest reaches of Antarctica. Their mission: Thwaites Glacier, a rapidly crumbling block of ice the size of Britain melting so fast it's known as the world's "doomsday glacier".
What kind of global effects would it have if sea levels were to rise 10ft or more?
Well, the speed with which it happens makes a tremendous difference. So, 10ft over two centuries is really different than 10ft over 40 years. The concern is really what do human beings do about it?
I'm a huge proponent of managed retreat, which is having a government entity intervene in low-lying areas and essentially purchase flood-prone homes for pre-flooding value, giving the folks who live there the opportunity to take that money and move up and in with it.
New York City has already done some managed retreat on Staten Island. The state intervened and they purchased and demolished over 500 homes on Staten Island. Eighty percent of those residents were able to take the money that they were given for their home and move elsewhere on Staten Island.
I’d wondered what happened to them after that dreadful storm. But were the people able to buy replacement houses, or was it just enough to allow them to rent a little apartment somewhere considerably less pleasant?
We sometimes think that managed retreat is like fracturing communities, and that's not necessarily how it plays out.
So, sea level rise is not catastrophic if we prepare for it – and that's a big if.
It’s also not catastrophic if there isn’t a significant rise, but that’s a different question.

OBTW: Given, roughly 2/3 to 3/4's of an iceberg is underwater and water expands by about 10% when frozen.
Doing some math:
* Using the 2/3's below, and 1/3 above the water level estimates.
7.48 Gallons to a cubic ft. Which expands 10% to about
1.10 Cubic ft when FROZEN. So when thawed, it returns to
1 cubic ft of displacement.
So wouldn't the 2/3's below the water thawing compensate for the 1/3 about the waterline, which also displacing more area frozen that when it would if melted?

The first person to see Antarctica saw it, like, 200 years ago, and in this very short window of time, we've told a very narrow story about Antarctica – one that has a lot to do with human conquest and human beings overcoming incredible odds to do the unthinkable. Often those human beings are white men from the global north. All the stories about Antarctica sort of sound the same. I wanted to create a story about Antarctica that was much more democratic. E. The Thwaites ice shelf is on the water. Whether it melts or not has no bearing on ocean levels. The glacier part is on land, and what they worry about is the accelerated glacier flow into the ocean if the ice shelf gives way, combined with the effects of putative overall warming on the glacier.
Of course an ice surge into the ocean might create another clogging ice shelf. On these time scales I don't think continental rebound would play a significant role. There are probably other factors I didn't think of.

[IsraelTimes] Army says it killed dozens of gunmen and struck 30 targets Wednesday, including Hamas command post in a school; urges evacuation from humanitarian area set to become ‘dangerous combat zone’
More than 150 tunnels have been demolished along Gaza’s southern border, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced Wednesday, as the army said it destroyed some 30 terror sites and killed dozens of gunmen in airstrikes across the enclave over the past day.
The IDF on Wednesday also called on Palestinians to evacuate from part of the Israeli-designated humanitarian zone in central Gaza’s Deir el-Balah where the army vowed to “forcefully operate” against terror groups.
Speaking to troops at the Philadelphi Corridor, which runs along the border, Gallant said the IDF’s 162nd Division had defeated Hamas’s Rafah Brigade, which is centered in the Strip’s southernmost city.
“The most important thing,” he said, “is to remember what the goals of the war are, to meet all the goals of the war, both regarding Hamas and also regarding the hostages, and to look north now.” Gallant was referring to simmering tensions with Iran’s Lebanese proxy Hezbollah, which earlier in the day fired over 50 rockets at the north amid fears of an all-out war.
Meanwhile, the army said it carried out airstrikes on rocket launch sites, tunnel shafts, observation posts and a Hamas command center within a school in Gaza City, in the Strip’s north.
In the Strip’s south and center, ground troops raided Hamas sites and killed gunmen, the army said.
Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry said at least 50 Palestinians were killed and over 100 injured in airstrikes over the past 24 hours.
IDF DESTROYS TERROR SITES AS GROUND TROOPS BATTLE GUNMEN
In Rafah’s Tel Sultan neighborhood, troops with the 162nd Division killed dozens of armed terror operatives, destroyed sites belonging to terror groups and located numerous weapons, the IDF said Wednesday.
Farther north, troops with the 98th Division killed dozens more gunmen and raided Hamas sites on the outskirts of Deir el-Balah and in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis, the military said.
The division also directed an airstrike on several terror operatives who had been spotted in an area from which rockets were launched at Israeli border communities several times in recent days, the IDF said.
In central Gaza’s Netzarim Corridor, reservists with the 252nd Division struck buildings that the IDF said were used by Hamas to attack troops.
In the Strip’s north, an IAF airstrike hit Hamas operatives at a command room embedded within a school in Gaza City, the army said.
According to the military, Hamas was using the command room at the Salah ad-Din School to plan and carry out attacks on Israel and troops in Gaza.
The IDF said it took “many steps” to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precision munitions, aerial surveillance and other intelligence.
In recent months, the army has carried out dozens of airstrikes on Hamas sites embedded within schools and other sites used as shelters for civilians, according to the IDF. On Tuesday, the army struck what it said was a Hamas command center at a school in Gaza City’s Rimal neighborhood.
IDF CALLS TO EVACUATE PART OF HUMANITARIAN AREA
Amid the fighting, the IDF called on people to evacuate an Israeli-designated humanitarian area in eastern Deir el-Balah, where hundreds of thousands of Palestinians displaced by the fighting have sought shelter. The military said it would soon act against terror groups in the area.
The area is a few hundred meters away from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, one of the last functioning medical centers in the territory. There was no evacuation order for the hospital itself, but during past evacuations people have fled from areas adjacent to the declared zones for fear the fighting could spread.
Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman, published on X a map of the zones that need to be evacuated.
Adraee said that the military will “forcefully operate” against terror groups in the area.
“For your safety, we urge you to evacuate immediately to the west. The area you are in is considered a dangerous combat zone,” he added.
The size of the humanitarian zone has changed multiple times, amid evolving IDF operations against the Hamas terror group.
The humanitarian zone is currently around 42 square kilometers, or 11% of the Gaza Strip’s 40 by 11 kilometers (25 by 7 miles). According to IDF estimates, 1.9 million Palestinians, or some 83 percent, of Gaza’s 2.3 million people are residing in the humanitarian zone.

"...and to look north now.” Gallant was referring to simmering tensions with Iran’s Lebanese proxy Hezbollah. Today Israel, tomorrow the Litani River.
[GEO.TV] Qassam, the armed wing of Hamas, has said that they targeted “an enemy command, control and mobilisation centre in the Netzarim axis with a ‘Zuari’ suicide drone”. The Netzarim Corridor is an Israeli-controlled area that divides Gaza between north and south.
[IsraelTimes] Troops were operating in Zeitoun neighborhood as part of efforts to expand central Gaza corridor; military issues evacuation warning after rockets fired at Sderot
A reserve soldier was killed and several others were maimed Friday morning by an bomb set off by Hamas ..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",... operatives in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. City, the Israel Defense Forces said. The slain soldier was named as Sgt. First Class (res.) Evyatar Atuar, 24, of the Jerusalem Brigade’s 6310th Battalion, from Rosh Haayin.
The Jerusalem Brigade in recent days had been carrying out an operation in Gaza City’s southern neighborhood of Zeitoun, to expand the military’s Netzarim Corridor.
The Netzarim Corridor is built around a road south of Gaza City, enabling the IDF to carry out raids in northern and central Gaza while allowing Israel to control access to the north for Paleostinians seeking to return after fleeing south. It also enables Israel to coordinate deliveries of humanitarian aid directly to northern Gaza.
According to an initial IDF probe, the reservists reached a building in Zeitoun and began to search it. As four soldiers from the force entered the structure, an bomb planted on the outer wall of the building went kaboom!. The blast hurt those standing outside the building, not those inside. At least four other soldiers were seriously maimed, and another three were moderately hurt, according to the IDF.
The military believed that Hamas operatives had set up a camera at the building and then detonated the bomb upon identifying troops in the area.
Israel’s toll in the ground offensive against Hamas in Gaza and in military operations along the border with the Strip now stands at 337.
Also in Zeitoun on Friday, the IDF said it carried out an Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... against a Hamas command room embedded within a former school. According to the military, Hamas was using the command room at the Ali Bin Abi Talib School to store "many" weapons and carry out attacks. To mitigate harm to civilians in the strike, the IDF said it carried out "many steps," including using precision munitions, aerial surveillance, and other intelligence.
"The Hamas terror organization systematically violates international law, brutally exploiting civilian institutions and the population as a human shield for terror activity," the military said.
In recent months, dozens of airstrikes have been carried out against Hamas sites embedded within schools and other sites used as shelters for civilians, according to the IDF. The IDF added that it will "continue to act with strength and determination against the terror organizations that use schools and civilian institutions as shelters."
Meanwhile,
...back at the shootout, Butch clutched at his other shoulder...... two rockets were launched from northern Gaza at the southern city of Sderot. According to the IDF, one of the rockets was intercepted by air defenses and the second struck an open area, causing no injuries or damage. Sirens had sounded in Sderot and nearby communities.
Following the rocket fire, the military called on Paleostinians in the Atatra area of northern Gaza to evacuate and head to "shelters west of Gaza City." Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-language front man, published a map of the zones that need to be evacuated. He said the military would "forcefully operate" against Hamas and other terror groups in the area following the rocket fire.
The IDF in recent months has repeatedly issued evacuation orders for areas from which bandidosmurderous Moslems launched rockets at Israel. The successive evacuation orders, including 12 orders in August alone, have displaced roughly 90 percent of the Gaza Strip’s 2.3 million residents since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, the top United Nations ...an idea whose time has gone... humanitarian official for the Paleostinian enclave said.
Muhannad Hadi charged that the evacuation orders of endangering civilians instead of protecting them. Israel says the orders are aimed at warning civilians ahead of major airstrikes or ground operations, thus protecting the population, which comes at the cost of also giving Hamas operatives advanced warning of Israeli actions.
"They are forcing families to flee again, often under fire and with the few belongings they can carry with them, into an ever-shrinking area" that is crowded and unsafe, according to Hadi.
UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said that due to the recent evacuation orders, the UN’s World Food Programme has lost access to its warehouse in central Gaza’s Deir al-Balah.
"This was the third and last operational warehouse in Gaza’s middle area," Dujarric said. "Five community kitchens operated by WFP have also been evacuated, as the agency seeks new locations for them."
The size of the Israeli-designated "humanitarian zone" in Gaza — located in the al-Mawasi area on the southern Strip’s coast, western neighborhoods of Khan Younis, and central Gaza’s Deir al-Balah. — has changed multiple times in recent months amid evolving IDF operations against the Hamas terror group.
TROOPS DEMOLISH KILOMETER-LONG ATTACK TUNNEL IN RAFAH
In other updates on Friday, the IDF said that over the past day, more than 30 targets were struck by the Israeli Air Force in the Gaza Strip, as troops battled and killed dozens of button men. The targets hit by IAF aircraft included Hamas compounds, weapon depots, and rocket launching positions in Khan Younis, according to the military.
In Khan Younis and on the outskirts of Deir al-Balah, the IDF said that troops with the 98th Division killed dozens of button men and destroyed dozens of sites belonging to terror groups.
Further south, in Rafah, the IDF’s 162nd Division continued to operate in the Tel Sultan neighborhood, where the military said troops killed dozens more terror operatives in the past day.
In central Gaza’s Netzarim Corridor, reservists with the 252nd Division killed a terror operative who was carrying explosives, and struck a rocket launching site, the IDF added.
Also Friday, the IDF said combat engineers demolished a Hamas attack tunnel in southern Gaza’s Rafah, where a cell of terror operatives emerged in an attempted attack earlier this month. The tunnel was at least a kilometer long, according to the IDF. In the attack on August 11, a cell of operatives was identified emerging from a tunnel shaft, and a short while later they were killed in a dronezap. Since then, the IDF said combat engineers worked to investigate the tunnel. Inside, the troops found bombs, electrical infrastructure, and blast doors, the military says. The tunnel was demolished after being investigated.

Imagine the work, the years involved in building a complex tunnel structure. A structure that is being eliminated. If Israel controls the border with Egypt, as long as that occurs (as it must) Hamas will be hamstrung and cross border tunneling will end.
