[Rudaw] Fourteen people from Sulaimani, who were detained by Tunisian authorities last month, are set to go to trial on Monday, an Iraqi foreign ministry official told Rudaw, expecting a quick release for the detainees.
"Those people were deceived in the name of Europe. Even if they receive a sentence they will be immediately released, because their sentence will be for one month and they have been detained for more than a month," Omar Barzanji, undersecretary of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told Rudaw’s Soran Hussein on Sunday.
A group consisting of 16 people in total was detained in Tunisian waters in early August while trying to illegally enter into Europe. In June, Tunisia lifted visa requirements for Iraqi tourists.
Ten more people from the Kurdistan Region were detained in Tunisia recently for similar attempts, but they have all been released, according to Barzanji.
Tunisia, which is situated on the Mediterranean Sea, is a hub for many people from the Middle East and Africa seeking to cross into Italia illegally and then reach other destinations in Europe.
Every year, Tens of thousands of people from Iraq and the Kurdistan Region take on perilous routes towards Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... in hope of escaping the endless crises, including the lack of employment, political instability, and corruption.
[IsraelTimes] Three Paleostinians suspected of planning to carry out an imminent terror attack were detained earlier today, the Shin Bet security agency says.
One of the suspects was arrested on the Route 6 highway in central Israel this afternoon after a vehicle with 12 other Paleostinians was stopped by coppers.
The other two suspects were detained by IDF troops later in the day at their homes in the West Bank, following the interrogation of the Paleostinian detained on Route 6.
The trio are from the West Bank town of Bani Naim, near Hebron, according to the Shin Bet.
The Shin Bet says weapons that would have been used in the attack were seized at the homes of the other two cell members.
All three are currently being questioned by the security agency.
The suspect were tossed into the calaboose near the Horeshim interchange on Route 6 shortly before 1 p.m. after coppers stopped a minivan carrying 12 other Paleostinians, who were all illegally in Israel.
Israeli troops found weapons intended for the alleged attack in their homes, the Shin Bet added. They included an M-16 assault rifle and magazines, according to an image released by the agency.
The suspect detained on Route 6 was unarmed, and no explosives or firearms were found inside the vehicle, though he may have been scheduled to pick up a weapon at another location.
[IsraelTimes] Two leaders of a white supremacist group have been arrested on charges of seeking to spark a "race war," including attacks on Jews, immigrants colonists, and members of the LGBTQ community, using an online forum known as "Terrorgram," US officials say.
What small percent of the readership are not FBI agents?
Dallas Humber, 34, of Elk Grove, Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, and Matthew Allison, 37, of Boise, Idaho, were taken into custody on Friday and were to make their first appearances in a federal court today, they say.
"Today’s indictment charges the defendants with leading a transnational terrorist group dedicated to attacking America’s critical infrastructure, targeting a hit list of our country’s public officials, and carrying out deadly hate crimes — all in the name of violent mostly peaceful white supremacist ideology," Attorney General Merrick Garland says in a statement.
Humber and Allison face multiple charges including soliciting hate crimes and the murder of federal officials, distributing bomb-making instructions, and conspiring to provide material support to terrorists.
According to the indictment, Humber and Allison used the encrypted Telegram platform to promote their white supremacist ideology and communicated with followers on a forum dubbed the "Terrorgram Collective." That's cute. I wonder if any actually used that term or is it just clickbait?
They promoted the belief that "violence and terrorism are necessary to ignite a race war and ’accelerate’ the collapse of the government and the rise of a white ethnostate," it says.
Humber and Allison allegedly joined Terrorgram in 2019 and became leaders of the group in 2022 after another leader was arrested.
Followers were led to believe they could become "saints" by "committing an attack in furtherance of white supremacist accelerationism," the indictment says.
[IsraelTimes] Hamas said to demand life-term murderers in return for civilians, not just for soldiers
Citing a White House official, the Washington Post reported Sunday that Hamas introduced its own "poison pill" into the talks in the past week, demanding the release of Paleostinian murderous Moslems serving life sentences in Israel in return for hostages who are civilians, not just IDF soldiers.
The Washington Post on Sunday cited a White House official as saying that Hamas has made the truce-hostage negotiations all the more difficult by demanding that murderous Moslems serving life sentences be released for civilian hostages in the deal’s first stage, a six-week ceasefire.
Until now, the formula was that hardened murderous Moslems would only be released for kidnapped IDF soldiers, including 150 life-term murderers to be released from Israeli jails during the first phase in return for the five female surveillance soldiers held hostage.
Citing "officials involved in the details" of the talks, Kan News reported Sunday that Washington is holding up presenting its new formula for a deal because of the new Hamas demand — which was made Friday, according to Kan.
The public broadcaster cited a Paleostinian source as saying Hamas’s demand was not new. However,
some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them... an unsourced Channel 12 report said Thursday that Hamas was demanding an increase in the number of life-term murderers to be released in return for the five female soldiers.
It is believed that 97 hostages kidnapped during Hamas’s October 7 onslaught remain in Gaza, including the bodies of at least 33 confirmed dead by the IDF.
[IsraelTimes] Families reportedly told deal unlikely to happen as Netanyahu, Sinwar both hardened stances; US to delay presenting new proposal, does not want to reward Hamas after executions

No surprise here.
HAMAS will keep stalling and adding conditions, to drag it out in the Media.
Plus, it will need time to locate the hostages actually being held by its collection of constantly moving terrorist cells.
Then there is the real serious issue, as sad as it is to say. That likely the number of living Hostages is lower than what Hamas is claiming, for its constantly delaying and increasing demands.
[IsraelTimes] Thousands of alleged terrorists await trial due to difficulties with evidence, lack of representation, overloaded justice system, and fears for hostages’ lives.
Eleven months after Hamas ..a regional Iranian catspaw,... ’s October 7 attack on Israel, a series of legal difficulties are still preventing Israel’s justice system from beginning to prosecute the thousands of terrorism suspects captured in Israel that day or during the resulting war in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... Citing unnamed sources in the State Attorney’s Office, Haaretz reported last week that the challenges preventing Israel from prosecuting snuffies include inadequate evidence in some suspects’ cases, the extra load on an already struggling justice system, lack of representation for those on trial, and concern that beginning legal proceedings could harm hostages still held in Gaza or the chances of a deal to free them.
According to the report, the investigations into thousands of terrorism suspects arrested on or after October 7 have either been completed or are close to completion, but it is unclear when they will be put on trial.
During Hamas’s October 7 attack, more than 3,000 snuffies murdered some 1,200 people, mostly civilians, in towns and bases in Israel’s south, committing widespread atrocities and sexual assault, and took 251 hostages.
Israeli forces killed some 1,000 of the invaders and hundreds more fled back to Gaza. Some 200 were captured alive and several thousand more have been detained in Gaza during the 11 months since, although the IDF has not given detailed numbers and many have been released following questioning.
In some cases, even though the investigation has been completed, prosecutors have little or no evidence that certain suspects took part in the specific murders with which they would be charged, making a conviction unlikely.
One potential solution that has been suggested, Haaretz reported, is to group suspects by the towns they operated in during the attack and put the groups on trial rather than individual suspects. But the International Court of Justice and other forums could declare such trials void because they would not comply with international legal practice.
Meanwhile,
...back at the argument, Livia had made her point with her knee to Jane's stomach... a possible solution to the pressure hundreds of trials would place on the justice system would be to hold the trials in military courts instead, the report added.
However,
some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them... that would still leave the question of who would represent the suspects in their trials, as Israel’s public defenders have refused to represent them. The report did not present any possible solutions. But when faced with a similar issue for the Nazi Holocaust criminal mastermind Adolf Eichmann’s trial in 1961, Israel enlisted foreign lawyers.
The final challenge listed in the report was fear for hostages still held in Gaza as mediators continue to try to reach a deal between Israel and Hamas that would see hostages released in exchange for Israel releasing Paleostinian security prisoners and a ceasefire.
At present, the suspects arrested since October 7 are being held mainly in two Israeli prisons, Ofer and Ktziot, and have been split into two groups. The first are people suspected of taking part in or helping plan the October 7 attack and designated to undergo proceedings as criminals, while the second comprises suspects who are being held under administrative detention as illegal fighters.
The suspects have been separated in order to protect the criminal suspects’ rights, Haaretz reported, and thus to avoid accusations of mistrials that would ultimately allow them to go free. However,
some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them... suspects have been moved between the two groups as recently as in the last few weeks, as new evidence comes to light.
Since the US announced criminal charges against Hamas leaders including Yahya Sinwar last week, soon after six hostages were murdered by their Hamas captors, the State Attorney’s Office has come under criticism by police and citizens for not doing the same or beginning to prosecute October 7 suspects.
However,
some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them... the former head of the office’s international department, Yuval Kaplinksy, explained to Haaretz that Israel’s legal system does not enable the state to indict Sinwar in the same way as the American system permits.
"Unlike the US, Israel doesn’t indict people who are not under arrest or available for proceedings," he said.
"The US sees a duty to the Americans harmed by October 7 in filing an indictment," he added, "but I don’t think there’s a single prosecutor in the US who believes that Sinwar will really be caught and put on trial in the US."

Criminals should get a swift trial, but prisoners of war stay until the end of the war— unless the diplomats work out a trade. And anyway, there’s been a steady flow of prisoners being returned to Gaza if they aren’t in the wanted group. The ones there eleven months were deemed guilty of whatever they were captured for — wheat, not straw.

The moment everyone has been waiting for has almost arrived, with Donald Trump and Kamala Harris set to debate each other tomorrow night. While it's commonplace for political candidates to make specific demands before participating in a debate, Kamala's list of demands has not been revealed — until now.
The Babylon Bee has exclusively obtained the following list of demands made by the Harris campaign prior to tomorrow's debate:
* Only questions about what kind of spices she uses when cooking: This is the type of thing Americans want to hear.
* Moderators must respond to all of Kamala's answers with "you KNOW das right" or "guuuuuurl, say it!": Conversely, all of Trump's answers must be met with boos and hisses.
* The debate is to be held 3 hours before air time and edited down to her best 7 minutes: It's standard practice with all Kamala Harris public appearances.
* She will be awarded extra points for each accent she uses: Being multi-lingual should have its advantages.
* Trump will be docked speaking time for being white and male: Plus, he's wealthy, so he's lucky to even be allowed to speak at all.
* Jamaal Bowman must be stationed by the fire alarm: Just in case things aren't going Kamala's way.
* She must be given the opportunity to sleep with the moderator the night before: Kamala always has to have her secret weapon up her sleeve.
While Kamala drives a hard bargain, it's plain to see that the viewing public is in for quite a treat tomorrow night — especially once everything Trump says is edited out.

[Breitbart] Job Creators Network, America’s largest small business advocacy group, has unveiled a rotating billboard in Times Square, highlighting the harsh economic reality millions of Americans face under President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The massive ads, meant to “dismantle campaign spin from the Democrats by showing how consumer prices are still rising even as the inflation rate falls,” arrive ahead of Tuesday’s primetime debate between Harris and former President Donald Trump.
The billboards show how the price of electricity, ground beef, and rent have exploded since Biden and Harris took office in January 2021. “Plotting actual prices alongside the inflation rate on the same graph. The ads refer to the difference as ‘Kamala’s Misery Gap,'” Job Creators Network said.
Indeed, Biden-Harris inflationary spending policies shot electricity prices up more than 30 percent from January 2021 to July 2024, according to the not seasonally adjusted Consumer Price Index (CPI).
“The Democrats are attempting to hoodwink the American people into believing that consumer prices are falling by pointing to the moderating inflation rate. But anyone who goes to a grocery store anecdotally knows this is not the case,” said Alfredo Ortiz, Job Creators Network CEO, in a statement.

[Breitbart] The following content is sponsored by Americans for Limited Government.
At the second first presidential debate, Vice President Kamala Harris will claim she capped prescription drug costs so that she can say she took on big drug companies. Sure enough, ahead of her debate, Harris released a new list of policies on her campaign website. She claims: “Just as she did as Vice President, she will take on Big Pharma to lower drug prices.”
But what she’s not telling you is that her policies and one consequential vote is making seniors’ wallets weep.
As vice president, Kamala Harris cast the tie-breaking vote that’s now making seniors’ Medicare Part D premiums skyrocket faster than a SpaceX rocket. The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) might as well be renamed the “Inflation of Medicare Premiums Act.” The IRA or IMPA has increased seniors’ Medicare Part D premiums by more than 20 percent this year and will increase their premiums by more than 50 percent next year. And it could be even higher—some say double.
And to hide the premium hikes on seniors right before the election, the Biden-Harris administration is bailing out Part D insurers with billions in taxpayer dollars from the Medicare trust fund.
But wait, there’s more! This act didn’t just tweak the numbers; it created a new $3 billion bureaucracy so big that it could probably be seen from space. This isn’t just about higher premiums; it’s about government bureaucrats playing doctor, deciding what medicines are covered for your ailments.
And if you thought that was the limit of this legislative misadventure, think again. They’ve siphoned off $300 billion from Medicare, not for your grandparents’ heart medication, but for EV subsidies and health care for illegal immigrants. Kamala Harris must believe electric cars and illegal immigrants’ health are more important than your grandparents’ health.
Harris might claim she’s fighting for you, but her policies? They’re fighting seniors’ bank accounts. Trump has a plan to make healthcare great again, not just for the elite, but for every American senior.
Trump will dismantle the giant healthcare bureaucracy created by this administration and kick out the government bureaucrats that Kamala Harris put in charge of deciding what kind of health care you can have.
He’ll implement the Trump Rebate Rule, which cuts out the middlemen and says that all price discounts negotiated between drug and insurance companies will only go to patients and seniors. In plain English, that means your drug discounts go to you, not some insurance exec’s bonus or some EV made in China.
So, as we gear up for tonight’s debate, remember, it’s not just about who can demagogue on drug prices louder. Here’s hoping for a healthcare comeback that doesn’t require grandma and grandpa to take out a new reverse mortgage. It’s about who’s got your back when it comes to those healthcare bills and can make American health care great again.
[IsraelNationalNews] Nine months after submitting a suit in the International Court of Justice in the Hague, South Africa is working to extend its deadline to present evidence, Kan Reshet Bet revealed on Tuesday.
South Africa's tactic is an attempt to "buy time" understanding that it does not have enough evidence to prove its allegations that Israel is committing genocide.
South Africa is required to submit its evidence next month, on October 28th, 2024, but is trying to extend the deadline by several months, with the hope that in the meantime evidence would come from other places.
According to the report, South Africa's conduct is seen as especially surprising because the plaintiff usually wants to speed up proceedings while the defendant is the one who usually attempts to buy time. Israel has refused to comment. Bandarlogs
[DM] An 'ISIS-inspired' terror plot to kill Pope Francis with bows and arrows during his visit to Indonesia has been foiled by police.
Seven suspects were arrested across September 2 and 3 following tip-offs from concerned citizens.
Bow and arrows, a drone and ISIS leaflets were found during a raid of one of the alleged militant's houses.
Some of those arrested had also pledged allegiance to ISIS, The Straits Times has reported.
The suspects, who have been named only as HFP, LB, DF, FA, HS, ER and RS, were reportedly angered by the Pope visiting Jakarta's Istiqlal mosque, the largest in South-east Asia.
There was also fury over the government's request for TV stations to broadcast the Pope's visit over the usual Islamic call to prayer.
A spokesman for Indonesia's terror-crushing unit Detachment-88 said investigations are 'ongoing' and it is unclear if the detainees knew each other.
'We have a mechanism to monitor and filter. We had tip-off information from members of the public,' Colonel Aswin Siregar added.
Pope Francis is currently on a 12-day tour of the Asia Pacific during which he will visit Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, East Timor and Singapore.
He arrived in East Timor on Monday, where he will hold a huge mass expected to attract more than half the country's 1.3 million population.

[ZeroHedge] Leaked US Army Documents: Thousands Of Violent Venezuelan Prison Gang Members Run Amok Across America
Investigative reporter James O'Keefe published unclassified information from the US Army North Division on X, revealing that the Venezuelan prison gang wreaking havoc across the northern Denver suburb of Aurora has become a nationwide crisis. Law-abiding Americans will soon feel the growing consequences of the Biden-Harris administration's failed open southern border policies (recall what's happening in Springfield, Ohio) of importing the third world into the first world.
"O'Keefe Media Group has obtained Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) from the US Army of the North Division, highlighting the growing presence of one of Venezuela's largest criminal organizations in the US. The document states that Tren de Aragua "has established a presence in Brooklyn, Bronx, and Williamsburg, NY, "with "approximately 400 TdA members" living in these cities. The CUI also warns that TdA members in Denver "have been given a 'green light' to fire on or attack law enforcement," with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in New York receiving a similar report.
The document details how the criminal organization is using advanced technology and surveillance, heightening the danger to US military personnel and law enforcement. It states, "Coordinated efforts between local, state, federal law enforcement, and the military are crucial" to protect against these expanding threats.
With National Guardsmen recently seen in subway stations across New York City, the situation is escalating as Venezuelan gang members, linked to the TdA, have been involved in violent incidents, including an attack on a Colorado apartment complex in late August.

If by some chance, Trump can overcome the illegal vote (all flavors), would he actually do anything about this? IIRC, he didn't do a thing about the BLM and Antifa thugs, presumably because he didn't want to come on all heavy in an election year.
[GP] WAKE UP, REPUBLICANS!... Democrats Are Openly Stealing the 2024 Election with Fraudulent Overseas Ballots
The Gateway Pundit reported extensively on this 2020 voter fraud scheme in numerous battleground states.
One method Democrats used to steal the election was with overseas ballots. We saw evidence of this in several battleground states.
During an Arizona Senate session in February2022, the discussion turned to the UOCAVA voters — these are voters covered under the Uniform Overseas Civilian Absentee Voting Act. These are the men and women who are serving their country in the military and send in a mail-in vote from where they are stationed outside the country. These ballots also include US citizens residing in countries outside the United States.
The act officially covers:
members of the United States Uniformed Services and merchant marine;
their family members; and
United States citizens residing outside the United States.
During the Arizona hearing, Paul Harris, a Maricopa resident and veteran in corporate executive management, spoke to the committee. Harris was a manager during the audit of the Maricopa County audit of the 2020 election ballots.
Paul Harris was tasked with overseeing the UOCAVA ballots during the audit. He described his experience.
Paul Harris: The UOCAVA is the Uniform Overseas Civilian Absentee Voting Act ballot. That ballot is sent out to men and women who work overseas and the people who work overseas to get a chance to work in the election. This is what a ballot looks like that goes out, an 11 1/2 X 19 ballot. When I opened up a box of ballots this is what a ballot looks like that’s a UOCAVA ballot. You know what that is? It’s an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of copy paper.
Paul Harris continued: “Did you all know that our ballots come back like this from our overseas people? Did any of you know thia? It is such a sham that I had people everyday at my table taking pictures of these ballots that were scanned down. It took my team three complete days to count all of the UOCAVA ballots. You know why? Because in 2016 the numbers were apparently 1,600 UOCAVA ballots that came back in the most significant election in our lifetime. In 2020 the numbers were close to 9,600 ballots that came back. And I will tell you as an eye-witness, 95%… all went towards one candidate. And in a state where a candidate won by 10,000 votes that is 8,000 new votes during an election where people were brought home because there was a pandemic… No chain of custody. There’s nothing to identify where this piece of paper came from.
This testimony by Paul Harris is very similar to what we witnessed in Michigan and Georgia.
We reported on this extensively at The Gateway Pundit.
The Gateway Pundit recorded testimony in three battleground states of this happening.
But there’s more…
Back in 2020 election worker and witness Kathleen Alby (sp?) testified at the November 2020 Arizona Senate Hyatt hearing for Rudy Giuliani.
She said baskets of “military faxes” in Pima County were converted to actual ballots at stations with just one person.
The cubicles only had one chair, no observers. She said hundreds (probably thousands) of these ballots had no chain of custody. She and other election workers could not get questions answered regarding this shady process.
AZ State Senator: “Were there a lot of those duplicates (military ballots)?”
Ms. Alby: “Yes. Thousands of them. At one point that’s all that they were processing were the faxed ones.”
Ms. Alby later described the thousands of ballots faxed in from overseas or wherever they were coming from.
Ms. Alby: “I complained about the chain of custody of all of these faxes because there were so many, and I questioned that. Because I wasn’t sure, I mean, I could be in Michigan and I could fax something to Pima County. It could be rerouted anywhere, through any fax. And how do I know it didn’t come from Afghanistan? “
Again, this appears to be a highly coordinated tactic used by the left in several battleground states.
We saw it in Michigan. We saw it in Georgia.
Fast forward to 2024. Democrats announced they are pushing their UOCAVA election fraud into overdrive.
The Gateway Pundit’s Patty McMurray reported on the Democrats’ UOCAVA fake voter scam last week.
In the 2000 presidential election, a mere 629 votes separated the race between George W. Bush and Al Gore in Florida. When the absentee overseas votes finally arrived, George W. Bush was able to take the 537-vote lead from Al Gore and win the presidency.
Democrats paid attention.
Are Democrats really interested in attracting more overseas voters, or is it the flawed voter registration system they use that could be a game-changer in our upcoming election if properly utilized by unscrupulous election officials?
On August 12, 2024, the DNC released a memo announcing it would spend six figures to collect up to 9 million Democratic votes from overseas.
[Blaze] Why the FBI BATTLED Tennessee media over Covenant School shooter’s manifesto
The Covenant School shooter’s manifesto has finally been released by the Tennessee Star — but it didn’t happen without a fight.
“We’re just a journalistic organization seeking documents which the public has a right to see, and at every level, the local government has obstructed those desires, as has the FBI,” Tennessee Star CEO Michael Patrick Leahy tells Jill Savage and Matthew Peterson of “Blaze News Tonight.”
“In fact, the Metro National Police Department has claimed for well over a year that the investigation is ongoing. They claimed in court in March it would be over by the end of June. Well, here we are, the beginning of September, they’re still claiming it,” he explains.
“It’s basically a stalling tactic because they don’t want this information out,” he adds.
In 2023, Leahy was hauled into court on June 17 by the presiding judge in the state case to explain why “she shouldn’t hit me with contempt of court charges.”
“She claimed that perhaps there was a court order that she’d issued that I violated. There was no such order,” Leahy explains. “It was Kafka-esque, right here in America.”
Leahy didn’t give up, as he believes it’s incredibly important for Americans to understand the motive behind a shooting like this, and Savage also notes that "the shooter's writings shed light on her poor mental health leading up to the shooting."
“This is a matter of public interest,” he says. “What is the motivation behind these mass murders committed by very troubled people, and what’s the public policy solution to it? I think that’s a very important part of the discussion.”
“We believe that we have served the public interest by demonstrating the very confused state of mind that Audrey Hale had and the absolute total failure of the mental health system to treat her for her difficulties,” he continues, noting that Hale had been under psychiatric care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for 22 years.
“She was also taking very, very strong SSRI drugs since 2019. Those will have an impact on a person, and I think that really, the whole public discussion about this has been misdirected. They try to make it about gun control.”
The issue isn’t the weapon a person uses but why the person picks up the weapon in the first place.
“The real issue here is how our children are suffering from mental illness and not being treated properly and how they’re being overprescribed with psychiatric drugs,” Leahy says.
[RealClearDefense] Many consider the Convair B-58 Hustler, the world’s first Mach two bomber, to have been a highly problematic aircraft in the 1950s. It was an extremely expensive aircraft, and its reported lack of range, along with safety concerns, combined with General Curtis Lemay’s opposition to the whole concept, helped force the USAF brass to retire the aircraft very early in its career. That is the conventional thinking expressed in Kenneth P. Werrell’s 2024 book, Air Force Disappointments, Mistakes and Failures, 1940-1990. Werrell quotes an Air Force historian named John Greenwood, who provides a quick summation of the case against the aircraft: “‘The B-58, although the holder of numerous world speed records, was severely restricted in its usefulness and lifetime. Designed for supersonic, high altitude penetration, the B-58 was limited in range, payload, and growth potential for the addition of advanced radar and other electronic equipment. The decision to phase out the B-58 was an easy one.’” (p.146)
The B-58 was retired in 1970, and for many, it is a forgotten aircraft, never fully appreciated in its time. Military minds are often not receptive to radical innovative ideas, like a supersonic bomber was in that era, and stubbornness animated the USAF generals to get rid of this aircraft before it had a real chance to prove its worth. Status quo or conservative thinking may have its place in many arenas, but the military really should not be one of them for they are in the business of protecting democracy, and innovation in weapons design and doctrine can make a significant difference in combat.
#3
...FWIW, one story I heard on several occasions is that the -58 was simply too expensive and demanding to operate as the escalating costs of Vietnam started to pile up. When it worked it worked very well - but it was maintenance-intense, and couldn't be adapted to Vietnam operations. (Not that they didn't try; there was an attempt to use -58s as a bombing pathfinder but the plan was scuttled before tests were run, mainly because DOD was terrified of losing a -58 in combat.)
Robert MacNamara without question took advantage of this; he wanted the -58s gone and PDQ at that and wasn't going to let the USAF try and delay it. So he made USAF a deal - retire the -58 and they would get two wings worth of a dedicated medium bomber version of the TFX. This is what became the FB-111, which was actually everything the -58 was never quite able to become. It had its own issues, but it served long and well.
[YourNews] The Election Fairness Institute, Inc. (EFI) is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3), engaged in the analysis of election procedure, process, and system components that demonstrate potential defects impacting election security, transparency and ultimately integrity. Such defects cut across all political lines and get to the heart of the “Equal Protection” clause of the Fourteenth Amendment for every American citizen. In November 2021 EFI was asked to engage in a private sector political money laundering investigation that would ultimately lead to the identification of over $1Trillion —a conservative estimate— supply dirty money supply in support of political campaigns of candidates at every level and individuals in all three branches of government from coast to coast. Early on in the pursuit of evidence showing the source of funding and the distribution pathways our team identified entities in Scottsdale Arizona and Nashville Tennessee that were inextricably tied to real property transactions with significantly inflated values, mortgage and title insurance fraud, and wire fraud.
“This is the fuel driving the takedown of America as we know it, to secure power for the elites and the government gangsters. From local protection rackets to the attacks on President Donald Trump in multiple courts across America with malicious prosecutions on exotic legal theories and the most frivolous of charges, this is how ‘political lawfare’ is funded,” says the Hon. Mark Finchem, Executive Director of EFI. EFI has also made significant progress in tracking what is known as “smurfing.’ Which is a unique type of political money laundering, the same activity that the James O’Keefe Media Group (OMG) has reported on over the last 18 months, with virtually no meaningful criminal prosecutions.
Over the last several months our investigation has also made a connection between child sex trafficking and highly placed political figures, and media personalities, including a well-known Scripps Media Company reporter in the Nashville area, and law enforcement agents. With the level of compromise that runs vertically from perpetrators to the Tennessee Attorney General and Inspector General, it is clear that the level of corruption is unprecedented. Proof of the pervasive corruption was made manifest on September 4th at approximately 9:45 am when a search warrant was executed on the Millersville Police Department for records and electronic devices that the AG, IG, and TBI already had access to through a cooperative agreement with the Attorney General’s office. Mr. Finchem says, “We informed several state attorney generals that we are at the point where we are ready to present cases for Grand Juries to begin hearing arguments and issuing indictments, including the Tennessee AG, and then the unthinkable happens.”
A search warrant was also served on the home of Deputy Chief of Police, Shawn Taylor, to seize records and electronic devices related to the ongoing criminal investigation that implicates Sumner County TN judge Joe Thompson, and Soros-supported DA Ray Whitley. Coincidentally, DA Whitley authorized the search warrant and Judge Thompson signed off on the search warrants. During the search of his home, DC Taylor’s civil rights were violated, and his home was vandalized by one or more of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) agents when one of the agents urinated in DC Taylor’s bathtub, then tracked urine throughout the home. A DNA sample has been secured, and at some point, the agent who engaged in this criminal act will be identified.
The TBI agents present at DC Taylor’s home were ASAC Nathan Neese, SA Andrew Graves, FI Billy Deering, SA Bobby Simmons, AZ Andy Vallee, SA Josh Anderson, SA Jason Williams, SA Shane Hunter, and Officer Darryl Brown. We have a saying at the Election Fairness Institute, “Be a Witness, Not a Suspect.” Our suggestion to all who are involved in this malicious abuse of law enforcement, prosecutorial, and judicial authority, if you choose to be a witness, contact us, and we will help you document what you know for the criminal prosecution of others. Some will talk, but others will not, but be assured prosecutions will soon come. If you choose to be a suspect, get a good lawyer, because you’ll need one.
The money laundering and child sex trafficking investigation will continue, even with what appears to be a significant effort at covering up the crimes that can be proven. Who knows what else will be found?

Once Hunter is pardoned, there will be ample legal resources available for new Attorney General RFK Jr. or Mathew Whitaker to conduct a DoJ 'deep dive' into the J6 matter.
I doubt the J6 people will be incarcerated much beyond the Trump inauguration date in January.
Taiwan’s exports to the US topped the record for any month’s shipments to China, underscoring rapidly shifting East Asian supply chains.
The archipelago’s shipments to the US rose to $11.89 billion in August, data from the Finance Ministry in Taipei showed on Monday. That beat the previous high of $11.72 billion to China in 2021.
Also, Taiwan’s exports climbed to a record last month, coming in at $43.64 billion.
The new monthly record is partly the result of a yearslong campaign by the US to rewire Asian trade, highlighted by President Joe Biden’s sweeping tariff hikes on a range of Chinese imports. Japan’s exports to the US have been above shipments to China for 22 months, the longest stretch since 2017.
In December, the US overtook China as South Korea’s top export market, though in recent months the China figure has been greater.
The new monthly record also comes as the US’s artificial intelligence boom drives a surge in Taiwanese exports, especially for tech-related shipments. The US has been the biggest customer for the chips, made by the likes of Nvidia Corp. and critical to powering graphics and training AI services. Companies in the Netherlands and Hong Kong have also been big customers.

Looking at the graph in the tweet and reading the attached Bloomberg article, it looks like the comparison is Taiwan exports to the US vs Taiwan exports to China.

[The Federalist] Aclassical charter school that was preserved after Republican-backed candidates took over the local school board just posted the top state test scores in the district. Students at Merit Academy, a 3-year-old K-11 public school that opens its 12th grade in 2025, also posted the best scores among the four districts that families in the Woodland Park exurb of Colorado Springs can choose from under open enrollment.
While test scores scratch the surface of student and school academic quality, these do help vindicate Teller County parents dissatisfied with extended school lockdowns, an increase in screen-based schooling, and creeping politicization of taxpayer-provided education. Due to these frustrations, this group of parents started a new public classical school in 2021 and took over their school board that fall to keep Merit open and growing. Merit nearly doubled in size the year after that. Charter schools are public schools run by independent boards that can be closed if students perform poorly.
The Denver Gazette offers a data visualization tool for state English and math tests. It shows Merit Academy’s top standing in the Woodland Park Re-2 district on both measures of academic performance.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A Wyoming man who rescued a 14-year-old girl from a sex abuser was sentenced to up to 10 years in prison for 'kidnapping' him, while the pedophile received a similar sentence of 10 to 14 years.
In April, Timothy J. Ott, 31,
…the kidnapper…
pleaded guilty to kidnapping Zackary Minard, 23,
…the pedophile…
who was found in bed with a teenage girl.
When the mother discovered her 14-year-old daughter in bed with Minard, she contacted her boyfriend, Ott, who rushed to the house with a 35-year-old friend in tow.
Last month, Ott was ordered to serve nine to 10 years in prison. District Judge Michael McGrady further ruled that the 31-year-old must pay the abuser $1,065 in restitution.
The 31-year-old confronted the abuser and soon a violent fight broke out, during which the young girl vomited, according to Cowboy State Daily. While the friend repeatedly kicked Minard, Ott took the then 22-year-old by the ankles and dragged him outside, Gillette News Record reported. The young girl vomited? Wow, that's a pertinent detail
After letting the abuser get to his feet, they ordered him into the trunk of a red 2007 Chevy car, which he promptly did. Minard claimed to authorities that Ott deliberately drove in an erratic manner, so that he would be thrown around against hard metal objects while in the trunk. The abuser thought that he was being taken to some remote location in order to be killed.
Eventually, the car came to a stop and Ott punched Minard multiple times, breaking his nose. The two men left the then 22-year-old out in the rural country, where the temperature was about 35 degrees.
Before driving away with his friend, Ott told Minard to walk back to town and consider what he had done.
The next day, the 31-year-old returned to the scene to look for the abuser, fearful that something might happen to him. However, Ott learned that Minard had already been found and was now being treated at a hospital. The 'kidnapper' spoke with the police, confessed to his crime, and expressed regret that things went 'too far.'
Only a few days after his arrest, authorities found paraphernalia with trace amounts of meth in Ott's possession. The judge gave Ott a three-to-five-year prison sentence for the illicit drug, but is allowing him to serve it concurrently with his time for kidnapping.
In his interview with authorities, Minard admitted to having sex with the underage girl. In addition to his prison sentence, the 23-year-old must pay $3,000 in fines, as well as $500 in restitution to the Wyoming Division of Victim Services.

In Wyoming, no less. Louisiana judge did ok back in 1984 with Gary Plauche, who got a suspended sentence for executing his son's kidnapper at the Baton Rouge airport.
[LIBYAREVIEW] Six bodies believed to be from a shipwreck off the coast of Libya were recovered near Sicily, Italia, on Sunday, according to DW.
The victims are thought to be among those missing from a boat that sank earlier in the week in Libyan waters, according to Italian media reports.
The decomposed bodies were found near Sicily, located off Italia's southwestern mainland. They were transported to Lampedusa, an island about 350 kilometres (217 miles) away from where they were discovered.
The Italian coastguard had rescued seven Syrian men from a partially sunken boat southwest of Lampedusa on Wednesday. The survivors reported that they had departed from Sabrata, Libya, on September 1, with 28 people onboard, including three children. They said that 21 people fell into the sea amid rough weather conditions.
''We left Sabrata, Libya, on Sunday afternoon,'' one survivor told Italian media. ''Onboard were all Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... ese and Syrians. The boat capsized after a day at sea — Everyone fell into the water because the weather was bad and the sea was rough. We tried to save our companions, but there was nothing we could do.''
Rescuers believe that the bodies retrieved are some of the 21 individuals who went missing from the shipwreck, based on the coordinates of the recovery site, as reported by the Italian news agency AGI.
Lampedusa's mayor, Filippo Mannino, described the discovery as ''another tragedy'' in the ongoing migration crisis. ''We hoped, in the hours following the rescue of the seven Syrians, that the coasties patrol boats would be able to find the missing alive. But the passing of time has made us lose all hope,'' Mannino told local media.
The latest incident highlights the dangers faced by migrants colonists trying to cross the Mediterranean from Libya in search of safety and a better life in Europe.

Once, in a century long, long ago, I was trying to buy a house in Lampedusa. It was practically being given away. I investigated and found why it was a bargain. In 1946 it would have been great. Three decades later it was a disaster.

153, eh? That sounds impressive. But it is only the front end of the pipeline. How many end up in jail? How many are never charged, disappear while out on bail, or cop to a lesser plea?
[NYPOST] Greta "Pippi" Thunberg ...an autistic sixteen year old Swedish expert on climate change, though I guess she's older now... 's not just a climate fanatic: She's also a proud antisemite!
(No wonder she's scored so many Nobel Prize nominations.)
The Norwegian wunderkind of the leftist blob got arrested at Copenhagen University last week as she and a crew of other pro-Hamas ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,... thugs were protesting the school's connections to Israel.
It should be noted that Ms Thunberg is not a student at this or any other university. She is a professional Black Bloc protester, reportedly worth something over $2 million from her labours.
Those connections? Efforts like the Erasmus student exchange program that let Israeli students study at CU.
She also supports an overall academic boycott, banning any collaboration or cooperation between universities outside Israel and those within it.
In other words, Thunberg doesn't want an end to Israel's fight for its life against the would-be genocidaires of Hamas, nor is she interested in helping Paleostinians achieve a peaceful autonomy or freeing them from their tyrannical terror masters.
[IsraelTimes] Allenby Bridge Crossing remains closed to trucks; Israeli security forces meet Jordanian counterparts to discuss investigation into murder of three Israelis, upgrading security
The Allenby Bridge Crossing between Israel and Jordan reopened to pedestrians on Monday morning but remained closed to trucks after Amman released a meager condemnation of a Sunday terror attack by a Jordanian truck driver at the crossing in which he murdered three Israelis. The killings were celebrated on the streets of the Jordanian capital.
The murderer was identified by Israeli authorities as Maher Dhiab Hussein al-Jazi, 39, a Jordanian national from the southern Jordan town of Udhruh, east of Petra
The reopening of the crossing came after representatives from the Shin Bet and IDF met with their Jordanian counterparts at Allenby on Sunday evening to coordinate continued operations after the attack, according to the Kan broadcaster.
The crossing, also known as the King Hussein Bridge, is the West Bank’s sole crossing with Jordan.
According to the report, the two sides discussed how to improve security conditions at the border crossing and shared information that could help with the investigation into the attack, as cooperation between the two nations continues.
However,
facts are stubborn; statistics are more pliable... it took some 14 hours for Jordan’s Foreign Ministry to issue a statement containing a brief condemnation of the terror shooting attack.
The ministry stressed "Jordan’s firm position rejecting and condemning violence and targeting civilians for any reason."
The rest of the statement reiterated common talking points in support of the two-state solution and against Israel’s actions in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... and the West Bank, with the condemnation of the attack immediately followed by a call for "addressing all causes and escalatory steps that generate" violence against civilians.
The ministry added that its probes have so far concluded that the attack was carried out by a lone assailant. Terror groups Hamas ..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",... and Paleostinian Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... both welcomed the attack, but did not take responsibility.
While the ministry issued its tepid statement, thousands of Jordanians celebrated on the streets of Amman, claiming the gunman had avenged the deaths of thousands of Paleostinians in the war in Gaza.
Videos posted to social media showed fireworks being set off during the demonstration. People waved Jordanian flags, and there were reports of Israeli flags being burned at the event.
Three Israelis, Yohanan Shchori, 61, Yuri Birnbaum, 65, and Adrian Marcelo Podzamczer, were murdered at the crossing on Sunday by Maher Dhiab Hussein al-Jazi, 39, a Jordanian national from the southern Jordan town of Udhruh, east of Petra.
According to the military and Israel Airports Authority officials — the latter of which manages the land crossing — al-Jazi got out of the truck he was driving during an inspection at the terminal and shot up several of the crossing’s workers, killing three.
Israeli security guards returned fire at the terrorist, killing him.
Israel and Jordan signed a peace treaty in 1994 and have close security ties. Dozens of trucks cross daily from Jordan, with goods from Jordan and the Gulf that supply both the West Bank and Israeli markets.
[IsraelTimes] Jordanian intelligence some six weeks ago thwarted a plan to place explosives on a truck and detonate it at the Allenby Bridge border crossing, Channel 12 reports.
The report, which cites non-Israeli sources, comes a day after a Jordanian truck driver rubbed out three Israelis in a terrorist attack at the Allenby crossing.
Jordanian intelligence officials arrested four members of a cell in Salt, west of Amman a month and a half ago, the report says, and they led the officials to a weapons lab in which several bombs were found. Jordanian intelligence suspects the members of the cell intended to plant the devices on a truck and detonate it at the Allenby Bridge crossing.
The alleged Death Eaters were all Jordanian nationals, and the cell was formed locally, rather than being recruited by Iran, Hezbollah or other external forces.
Jordan did not publicize the incident in order to avoid triggering public protests, given anti-Israeli sentiment in the kingdom and anger that Jordan cooperates with Israel on security matters.
Channel 12 notes that Israeli sappers were seen checking the truck driven by the button men yesterday for more than an hour after the deadly attack to make sure it was not rigged with explosives.
The TV report notes that Jordan has also busted at least three cells in the past two months, recruited by Hezbollah via the internet, that were intended to carry out actions designed to destabilize the kingdom.
It notes that in June, Jordanian security forces announced they had uncovered and detonated explosives hidden in a commercial warehouse in an industrial area southeast of the capital Amman that they said was part of an Iran-linked plot to destabilize Jordan. That incident, Channel 12 says, involved "immense" quantities of explosives smuggled into Jordan by Iran.
It says Hezbollah has also been recruiting, via the internet, Paleostinian cells in the northern West Bank — including Nablus, Jenin, and Tulkarm — also intended to act against Jordan.

BREAKING: Google Growth Strategist Exposes Google’s Search Engine Manipulation for Kamala Harris Campaign, Revenue-Driven Political Bias
"Google was essentially promoting through its ads rhetoric that was very pro-Kamala,” admits Dakota Leazer (@dakotaleazer), a Growth… pic.twitter.com/5Sn3gU84be
… a Growth Strategist at
@Google
, during an undercover date with an OMG American Swiper journalist. Leazer reveals that Google has been actively coordinating with the Kamala Harris campaign, manipulating its search engine advertisements to favor her in the 2024 election. He explains, “It seemed to link out to legitimate news publication sites. So, it seemed like it was an ad from PBS, but it was really an ad for the Kamala campaign,” making users believe they were reading unbiased reports from reputable sources.
Leazer also confesses that Google’s primary objective is to generate ad revenue through fear-based content, explaining, “I think whatever demographic is most fearful is going to be most profitable.” According to Leazer, the left currently represents the most fearful demographic, which is why Google has been pushing pro-Kamala narratives for profit, explaining “I think right now the left is more fearful than the right is.”
He further states, “It's all about the share of the stock price,” revealing that Google’s liberal bias is not just political, but tied to financial gain. He adds, “I think Google has a belief that one side will allow them to make more money,” revealing Google’s profit motives through driving political manipulation.
Leazer’s admission mirrors past media motives, including CNN Technical Director Charlie Chester’s claim that “fear sells,” reinforcing the role of big tech and media in shaping public perception through fear and bias.
[NEWARAB] The UK has ordered Afghanistan's embassy in London to be closed by September 27, the Afghan ambassador has confirmed.
In a post on social media platform X, Zalmai Rassoul ... former foreign minister and a very close confidant of Hamid Karzai. Before serving as foreign minister Rassoul also spent seven years laboring as a national security adviser to the president. An ethnic Pashtun born in Kabul, Rassoul was the valedictorian of his class at the illustrious Franco-American school in Kabul, Lycee Istiqal. He has an MD from the Paris Medical School in France..... announced that the decision was made by British authorities, amid ongoing disputes over the control of Afghan embassies in Western countries.
Currently, dozens of embassies continue to operate, run by diplomats affiliated with the former US-backed Afghan government of deposed President Ashraf Ghani ...former chancellor of Kabul University, then former president of Afghanistan. Before returning to Afghanistan in 2002 he was a scholar of political science and anthropology. He worked at the World Bank working on international development assistance. As Finance Minister of Afghanistan between July 2002 and December 2004, he led Afghanistan's attempted economic recovery until the Karzais stole all the money... .
"We thank and appreciate all colleagues, citizens, and related institutions who have sincerely cooperated with the Afghan Embassy in London during this period," Rassoul said in a statement.
In July, Afghanistan's unrecognised Taliban ...the once and current oppressors of Afghanistan... government sent letters to 13 nations, including European countries, Canada, and Australia, asserting that consular services provided by embassies managed by diplomats from the former Afghan government were invalid without Taliban involvement.
In response, countries such as the United States and now the UK have shut down Afghan diplomatic missions.
According to Afghan independent news network Amu TV, Germany had urged the Afghan embassy in Berlin to engage with the Taliban, becoming the only country to formally respond to the Taliban's letters.
On Saturday, a protest outside Germany's Foreign Ministry saw Afghan citizens opposing any diplomatic engagement with the Taliban, drawing attention to the movement's human rights ...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless... record.

[IsraelTimes] Six abductees reportedly had trouble breathing while held by Hamas in unventilated, narrow, dark tunnel where they couldn’t stand upright, had no toilet and got very little food
Several of the six Israeli hostages who were executed by their Hamas ..the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,... captors in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... some 10 days ago had attempted to fight off their killers, their families have reportedly been told by the Israel Defense Forces.
IDF Spokesman Daniel Hagari has briefed some of the families of the six — Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Ori Danino, Eden Yerushalmi, Almog Sarusi, Alexander Lobanov and Carmel Gat — on the difficult conditions in which they had been held and on their courage in their final moments, according to Channel 12 and Channel 13.
Hagari, who reportedly met with the families over the past day or so, shared what Channel 12 news described as the initial findings of the army’s investigation into the incident, detailing the harsh conditions in which the six were held, and showing the families evidence from inside the tunnel where they were killed.
The IDF believes they were murdered a day or so before the IDF got to the tunnel on August 31, the report said.
"Several of the six are assessed to have defended themselves and struggled with those who shot them," it added.
Channel 13 cited "forensic" findings that show "Hersh, Ori, Alex and Almog defended Eden and Carmel."
The six were held in a small and very narrow tunnel, barely the width of two people and too low for them to stand fully upright, the Channel 12 report said.
There were no air vents, and the hostages had difficulty breathing, the families were reportedly told.
There were no toilets or showers in the tunnel. The hostages washed with water from the bottles they drank from.
Protein bars were found in the tunnel but the hostages had very little food and lost weight to the point where Yerushalmi had weighed just 36 kilograms (80 pounds) before she was murdered.
There was a generator and a small torch that didn’t always work, a chess set, writing implements and notepads. The IDF has given the notepads to the respective families, the Channel 12 report said.
Members of one family, who were not named, told Channel 12 that the hostages "did everything to survive in impossible circumstances... and in the end Hamas murdered them... Their only demand was that the government save them, and the government failed in its mission."
The bodies of the six were recovered by the IDF overnight August 31-September 1. An initial autopsy on September 1 found they had been shot multiple times at close range two to three days earlier.
Last week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the hostages’ Hamas murderers had shot them dead "in cold blood. They riddled them with bullets... They shot them in the back of the head."
[IsraelTimes] ‘Military pressure does not bring hostages back alive. It kills them,’ mother tells Knesset, citing autopsy report; Buchshtav’s death echoes murders of six hostages in late August

Residents in Ohio are fuming about the cultural clash between locals and Haitian migrants at city council meetings, demanding the city take action on the issue.
Thousands of Haitians have arrived in Springfield since the COVID-19 pandemic, and residents have been pointing to an uptick in crime, mayhem and car crashes due to the massive influx of new residents. In a town of 58,000 people, about 20,000 Haitians have arrived, according to city officials.

"In the West Bank, deadly and destructive operations, some at a scale not witnessed in the last two decades, are worsening a calamitous situation there, already aggravated by serious settler violence," Turk told the council.
It does. But there is a German family name convention — family names resulting from a Napoleonic command — that connects to where the family came there from. Another connects to appearance. One branch of my mother’s family is also named Turk, supposedly because they came to Germany from Turkey… or possibly because they had dark hair.
[GEOTV] Syrian state media said Monday that overnight Israeli strikes killed 14 people in central Hama province, with a war monitor reporting a higher death toll in raids on sensitive military sites.
The Israeli military, which has carried out hundreds of strikes in Syria since the start of the civil war there in 2011, declined to comment on the latest reported attack.
Syrian official news agency SANA, citing a medical source, said: "The number of martyrs resulting from the Israeli aggression on a number of sites in the vicinity of Masyaf has risen to 14 martyrs and 43 wounded including six critically."
At least seven people were killed in multiple rounds of Israeli Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s late Sunday in Syria’s central Hama province, a war monitor reported.
"The number of dead as a result of the Israeli attacks on the Masyaf countryside rose to 7 people, consisting of 3 civilians, including a man and his son ... and 4 unidentified soldiers," said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK-based war monitor.
The attack also injured 15 others and caused the destruction of civilian and military infrastructure in the area, in the southwestern countryside of Hama, according to the Observatory.
Syria’s state-owned SANA news agency placed the corpse count at five, saying the strikes also caused damage to a highway near Masyaf and sparked a wildfire.
"At around 23:20 on Sunday evening, the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from the direction of northwest Leb ...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... , targeting a number of military sites in the central region," SANA said, citing a military source. "Our air defenses engaged the aggression’s missiles and shot down some of them."

Airstrike in Masyaf, Syria, targeted military facility developing Hezbollah missiles and 'chemical, biological and potentially nuclear weapons,' The New York Times reports.
The Masyaf area, west of Hama, is thought to be used as a base for Iranian forces and pro-Iranian militias, and has been repeatedly targeted in recent years in attacks widely attributed to Israel.
It contains the Scientific Studies and Research Center, known as CERS or SSRC, which according to Israel is used by Iranian forces to manufacture precision surface-to-surface missiles.

[ColonelCassad] Hello everyone, "Author" is on the line. I would like to dedicate today's article to the battle for Chasov Yar and tell you about the features of this battle as a direct participant, along the way explaining the structure of the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the course of hostilities at this stage. Sit back, I'm getting started. Part 1: Why Chasov Yar is so important for the Russian army
Chasov Yar is a city in the Artemovsky district of the Donetsk Republic, which became famous due to the fact that it was here that the outstanding artist Iosif Davydovich Kobzon was born. But now the city is back in the spotlight - during a special military operation, since April 4, 2024, a battle has been taking place here between the Russian army and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Analyzing the terrain and studying the map of the operational situation, we can come to an obvious conclusion - Chasov Yar is of significant strategic importance for the continuation of the offensive actions of the Russian army in the Donbass. The city is located at a height and its capture allows "opening the flower of the offensive" in the direction of Konstantinovka, Druzhkovka, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. Below I will give an example of the heights of large frontline cities:
Bakhmut/Artemovsk - 165-175 m
Druzhkovka - 95-120 m
Konstantinovka - 90-120 m
Kramatorsk - 100-110 m
Slavyansk - 80 m
Chasov Yar - 220-240 m
You must agree that the difference in heights is significant, right? This is precisely why Chasov Yar is so important for the Russian army. In addition, the capture of the city contributes to a significant expansion of the bridgehead behind the Seversky Donetsk-Donbass Canal, which will also have a beneficial effect on the offensive of Russian troops in the area of the remaining large cities of the Donetsk Republic.
So, having quickly familiarized ourselves with the map of the heights in this section of the front, we come to a simple conclusion (I, sitting on the couch, know better) - control of Chasy Yar and the subsequent pull-up of artillery to the area will contribute to the fastest possible entry into the settlements we need with the subsequent defeat of the garrisons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces located in them. Of course, the enemy command understands this, so they are trying to stop the advance of our troops with all the forces they have. More on this below:
Part 2: What enemy units are represented in Chasy Yar:
For a general idea of the battle for the settlement, I consider it appropriate to tell you about what enemy garrison is opposing our units.
First of all, the "first violin" in Chasov Yar remains with the 24th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Despite the fact that the brigade's units are divided into two operational-tactical directions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - Toretskoye and Chasovyarskoye, the majority of the brigade works in the direction of Chasov Yar.
In addition to infantry units, among the available forces and means of the brigade, there are internal UAV units (reconnaissance and strike, mainly inhabited in the private sector of the Novoseverny and Oktyabrsky districts of Chasov Yar, sometimes found in forest plantations near the city), as well as barrel and rocket artillery, stationed in forest plantations to the south and west of Chasov Yar.
Command post of the company of the 24th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On the wall you can see maps of the operational situation, covering the Seversky Donetsk-Donbass channel, the Kanal microdistrict, as well as the Orlova tract and the Druzhba forest.
In addition to the 24th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the vicinity of Chasov Yar we encountered units of the 23rd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade and a Troops unit, which also worked on the enemy's front line.
If we take any special forces, then the "fashionable TikToker boys" from the nationalist battalion "Kraken" really conducted military operations in the Kanal microdistrict around April-May 2024, even before our unit entered the direction, but then they pulled back towards Vovchansk and we did not see them in Chasov Yar anymore. By the way, based on the analysis of their videos, I dare to assume that they were waging a TikTok battle, shooting in an unknown direction in order to make a beautiful picture, well, according to their favorite tradition, as in other TikTok troops.
There are also other units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area - we noticed Ichkerian militants, "Ulfhednar team", "Delta Knights Group", but these guys quickly deflated and, at least, prefer not to show themselves anymore. Colombian mercenaries were also present in the area - FABs recently flew to the point where they "got caught" filming TikToks. Most likely, these guys will not film TikToks anymore. To summarize, we can say that the main burden of defending the city is borne by the infantry, as well as the Troops of Defense units assigned to it, stationed in the forests north and south of Chasy Yar.
An important role in the defense of the city is played by the UAV units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - now almost every battalion has a separate UAV platoon, and each enemy brigade has a separate company. Indeed, conducting an analysis of the enemy UAV groups, sometimes the head begins to simply "boil" - there are so many of them and it is almost impossible to remember all the names. Of the UAV groups that we encountered in our direction, I can single out the Morana and Katenyata UAVs - the ones that are on everyone's lips.
Among the range of equipment used by the UAV units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there are not only "mavics" and FPV drones, but also heavy agricultural hexacopters, called "Baba Yaga" and "Vampire". As a rule, such hexacopters carry serious "drops" - from mines for 82mm mortars to TM-62. TM-62 being an antitank mine.
Our units have declared a hunt for them and it is bearing fruit. It is not difficult to calculate the location of the UAV operators of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - we have the relevant developments and, based on a number of signs, quickly determine where ordinary infantrymen are sitting, and where the "charged" UAV operators are. Taking this opportunity, I send greetings to several opponents (if they are still alive), whose locations we were able to detect, and then wiped them into dust.
Part 3: The Ukrainian Armed Forces' Defense System in Chasov Yar
I published this text in my author's channel "Na dvizheniyakh", but I will duplicate it here and add some details:
First of all, we will look at the Ukrainian Armed Forces' forward positions. Let's start with the Druzhba forest south of the western part of the settlement of Kalinovka (♦️48.602027, 37.840905) and the forest south of the Novoye microdistrict (♦️48.577742, 37.857899)
The Druzhba forest is a forest area with ten buildings inside (a former pioneer camp). The enemy used the buildings as places to install electronic warfare and other equipment, as well as temporary shelter from UAVs and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces.
The adjacent Oktiabrskaya Street allowed the Ukrainian Armed Forces to organize a supply and evacuation point there for a while, but all of this was discovered by our units and destroyed. The small fortified area in the forest itself includes a network of well-equipped trenches, dugouts and covered trenches, near some of which the Egoza (commonly known as "barbed wire") were installed.
In addition to the dug-in positions, the enemy had some advantage in the form of residential buildings in the western part of the settlement of Kalinovka (north of the forest), in which forward command posts, ammunition depots and personnel accommodation points were equipped. Nevertheless, thanks to the competent actions of the Russian Armed Forces, these positions were also discovered, and the personnel hiding in them were destroyed.
Today, the enemy is trying to carry out counterattacks in the Druzhba forest, but fails time after time, sending more and more of its soldiers to the slaughter. Below in the appendix is a map with some explanations.
On the map above I indicated two points: The first is a machine gun nest of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, located in the technical room of the channel "Seversky Donetsk-Donbass", the second is the path along which the Ukrainian Armed Forces sabotage and reconnaissance groups entered the Orlova tract ("island"). Below I will tell a couple of situations with these points:
During the assault units' entry behind the canal, our fighters encountered a problem when a Ukrainian machine gun prevented groups from Kalinovka from breaking through normally. The machine gunner snapped back for quite a long time, which is why it was decided to destroy the point with an FPV strike. Two attacks and the point was destroyed. The machine gun, by the way, was taken away a little later and is now on the side of good :)
One day, when the author of the article was directly at the site, aerial reconnaissance forces discovered a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group crossing from the Druzhba forest through the Seversky Donetsk-Donbass canal. Due to the fact that it was dark, it was decided to stop the moving group of Ukrainian Armed Forces with the help of "drops". Our and allied drone operators were raised by radio, and within ten minutes the above-mentioned group was completely destroyed. The remains of the Ukrainian militants were scattered around the "island", one tried to crawl away towards Druzhba, where he later died.
This is part of the daily combat routine of our units. Maybe someday I will write about how the battles were fought on this section of the front, but here we have an informational and analytical article, so let's continue.
If we consider the forest to the south of the "Novoe" microdistrict, then everything is much more interesting there. The enemy has done colossal fortification work in this area, in the above-mentioned area there is a rather serious fortified area, including well-equipped dugouts, camouflaged vehicle parking lots and a very wide line of trenches. It was in this area that the enemy expected a breakthrough of the Wagner PMC units during the Bakhmut operation in 2023, so he was forced to invest a certain amount of forces and resources to create a fortification line. Also, along the line of the "Seversky Donetsk-Donbass" canal, the enemy used the canal pipe for his own purposes, along which he moved and under which trenches and small dugouts were also dug.
Let's move to the private sector of the Oktyabrsky and Novoye microdistricts, where the assault units of the Russian Armed Forces began to open up the enemy's defenses.
So, the first thing the enemy used in the Novoye and Oktyabrsky microdistricts was to establish cover for their positions with electronic warfare. The electronic warfare assets are located in echelons almost throughout the entire territory of the two microdistricts, with the exception of the area of the cell phone tower next to the canal, from where the equipment was knocked out by our strikes back in June.
At the same time, the most powerful electronic warfare of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which we had to face in Chasov Yar, is located in the forests to the north and south of the settlement itself (indicated in the map above).
In terms of electronic warfare, the defense of the Novoye and Oktyabrsky microdistricts is based on the fact that the enemy is taking advantage of a convenient position, being behind the Seversky Donetsk-Donbass canal and actively using the basements of the private sector, which is the two above-mentioned microdistricts, for its own purposes. The line of trenches directly on the bank of the canal was until recently used by units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to install automatic grenade launcher positions and observation posts there.
The line of trenches was knocked out by our drone operators, after which the enemy was forced to retreat to the private sector and take trenches in the green spaces on the sides of the railway.
The enemy carries out logistics in this area mainly by foot groups, sometimes the most daring ones try to bring equipment for these actions, however, preference is given to foot groups with cover by UAV units.
Since I mentioned UAVs, it would be appropriate to talk about the air situation in the area. In short - "airfield". "Wings" are constantly on duty in the air, the number of "mavics" and FPVs is simply incalculable. A banal trip to the toilet is accompanied by the beeping of a drone detector and the buzzing of the drones themselves. Every now and then, the fighters find downed copters, subsequently sending them to rear units for restoration or disassembly for spare parts.
We move from the private sector to the central part of the city. It is a connection of the Oktyabrsky and Novoseverny districts. The defense structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this area is, first of all, a refractory plant (♦️48.592610, 37.833813) and three/five-story buildings located south of it. If we consider the refractory plant, then at the beginning of the battle for the city it was a parking point for heavy equipment and a serious logistics hub for organizing the defense of the settlement. Now, due to the change in the nature of military operations, the refractory plant and its workshops play the role of "zero", without ceasing to be a jump-off point and a logistics hub.
At the same time, the urban development, which is located to the south of the plant, is used by enemy units as points for placing personnel in the basements of houses, places for installing communication and electronic warfare equipment, as well as parking equipment and organizing control points and communication nodes in the same basements.
Our units regularly observe the movement of enemy vehicles along Dneprovskaya and Central streets, pickups now and then drive between houses, transporting food and equipment for the garrison remaining in the city. It is in the basements of the central part of the city that the first link in the defense is carried out, the enemy has invested a lot of effort and money for this.
Part of the Novoseverny (and other) district is used as a place to quarter UAV units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a rule, the UAV control center itself is located in the basement of one house or another, with "remote" and control stations together with "Starlink" located on the roof nearby, and a temporary deployment point for Ukrainian Armed Forces militants in the neighboring house. Most of the enemy's drone operators are currently operating according to approximately this scheme, but some UAV control points are also present in the five-story buildings near the fireproof plant (Tsentralnaya, Gorky and Dneprovskaya streets).
To date, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have evacuated some civilians from five-story buildings, after which they themselves moved in, equipping firing points in the windows and temporary deployment points for personnel in the basements. We also know about Ukrainian Armed Forces control points in five-story buildings and the private sector. I won't say where, but the enemy will definitely get a "hello" from us.
Part 4. The nature of military operations in the city.
If we consider the nature of military operations using the example of modern urban battles, the general tactics have changed significantly. For example, in Bakhmut, the assault groups of the Wagner PMC worked according to one tactic, almost a classic one, when the only small aircraft present in the sky were reconnaissance UAVs, and, at most, "mavics" with airdrops, but during the assault on Avdeevka, units of the DPR army and the Central Military District used a different tactic, since both sides in the conflict saturated their arsenal with FPV drones and modernized the same airdrops on "mavics".
In the Battle of Chasov yar, as in the ongoing battles for other populated areas, a third tactic is already being used - the parties have almost reached a significant saturation of units with electronic warfare and UAVs, and they play the first role in the successful conduct of offensive and defensive operations.
It is important to understand that today the general tactics of combat operations have slid into approximately the following format: Reconnaissance drone + artillery + attack drones - the primary role in achieving the result, but the assault/defensive work of foot or mechanized groups (which is in fact the most important for achieving control over a particular point) is already fading into the background.
Most losses in modern combat operations occur in the "drone-artillery" combination, when a reconnaissance drone detects enemy positions, first an artillery strike is carried out there, and then a control attack is carried out by a kamikaze drone, or a reconnaissance drone with the function of bombing with small munitions made in artisanal conditions can stop a foot group by making literally a couple of drops.
Due to the above-mentioned nature, assault and defensive groups prefer to take cover mainly in basements and dugouts in order to protect themselves from the huge number of "birds" that fill the sky. Despite this, assault work and close fire contacts are still present. For example, frequent fire contacts occur in forests, where drones have a hard time getting to because of dense vegetation, or when storming/clearing buildings. But the priority in the war at this stage remains the sky.
Of course, sooner or later they will invent electronic warfare that covers the frequency ranges necessary for control and radio-controlled "birds" will lose their relevance, but now UAVs on fiber optics are actively used (here is the principle of operation of ATGM with a "thread"), which do not care about electronic warfare. Yes, modern war is primarily a war of technologies and whoever comes up with something new as quickly as possible will be "on top".
Part 5. Results
In the article I wrote, I did not touch on a number of topics on which we are currently working and implementing the information we have already collected. Perhaps, I will tell you something about the implementation in my posts. In four parts, I tried to briefly acquaint you, dear readers, with the situation on the contact line and tell you about some of the features of modern military operations in Chasov Yar, where I, together with my comrades from the AVC Group, am taking part in the liberation of the settlement from the Ukrainian Nazis, while not forgetting to write small informational and analytical posts.
According to my forecasts, the active phase of the city's liberation will continue for another two to three months, possibly longer, since the enemy is seriously clinging to Chasov Yar, because it understands what its loss is fraught with. Ahead of us lies a lot of analytical and combat work, since the private sector, the forest south of the "Novoe" microdistrict, the fireproof plant and five-story buildings are next in line.
In any case, the capture of Chasov Yar is a matter of time. Meanwhile, the enemy's Pokrovsk operational-tactical direction is falling apart, the attempt to break through to the Kursk region resulted in huge losses in manpower and equipment for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, so we wish the guys from adjacent sections of the front military success and new victories, and we continue to work in our direction.
Worth noting, korrespondent.net has compiled its Invasion of Ukraine series into separate months, beginning May 9th, 2023. Linked in the title.

00:50 Zelensky asked Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni to mediate in negotiations with the United States on the transfer of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine, the Italian publication Messaggero reported. According to the publication's sources, Zelensky would like Meloni, as head of the G7, to push Washington to transfer a significant number of Patriots before the US presidential elections by the end of the year.
In addition, during the meeting in Italy, Zelensky and Meloni discussed the transfer of the second Samp-T air defense system to Ukraine, which was approved in June, but the delivery had to be delayed due to technical difficulties. According to the publication, the Samp-T can be expected to be sent by the end of September, which Meloni assured Zelensky of.

[Regnum] Former US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland in an interview with journalist Mikhail Zygar (an individual recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) indirectly admitted that Kiev refused to conclude the Istanbul agreements with Moscow after consultations with Washington and London.
According to her, the US was not very aware of the details and conditions of the Istanbul agreements. Ukraine, in turn, asked Washington for advice on the prospects of concluding this agreement.
It became obvious to the American side that Russia’s conditions were allegedly unfavorable for Ukraine, she emphasized.
"People inside and outside Ukraine started asking questions about whether the deal was a good one, and that's when it all fell apart," Nuland said.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) on September 5, stated that Russia is ready for negotiations, but only on the basis of already recorded agreements. He recalled that the relevant documents had previously been agreed upon and actually initialed in Istanbul.
Russia sincerely wanted to reach an agreement with Ukraine at peace talks in 2022, and the Ukrainian delegation expressed the same desire, said presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, who led the Russian negotiating team in Istanbul.
In Istanbul, the Russian and Ukrainian delegations reached agreements on Ukraine's non-aligned and non-nuclear status and security guarantees for it. But the Kiev regime rejected the agreements reached, and its leader Volodymyr Zelensky declared that Ukraine would seek a return to the 1991 borders.
In November 2023, a member of the Ukrainian delegation, David Arakhamia, admitted that the peace talks in Istanbul were disrupted by then-British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who convinced Kiev to continue hostilities.
On June 17, 2023, Putin showed African leaders at a meeting the initialed peace treaty with Ukraine, which included a clause on Kiev's neutrality and security guarantees. He also showed them the draft Istanbul Treaty, which took into account various provisions, including the number of military equipment and personnel. The Ukrainian authorities abandoned the agreements as soon as Russia withdrew its troops from Kiev, the president emphasized.
[DHAKATRIBUNE] A BNP leader has been accused of occupying the ancestral home of renowned poet and novelist Sunil Gangopadhyay in the Dasar upazila of Madaripur.
The BNP leader allegedly vandalized several photographs, books, and furniture inside the house and later stored OMS (Open Market Sale) rice there.
The accused BNP leader is Sohel Howlader, who was the legal affairs secretary of the BNP's Dasar upazila committee. He resides in the Kazibakai area of the upazila, reports Prothom Alo.
Currently, the position of Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) in Dasar is vacant.
Regarding this, the UNO of Kalkini, Uttam Kumar Das, said: ''A BNP leader named Sohel Howlader had occupied the house and stored OMS dealer's rice there. Before we could take action, he removed the rice. Action will be taken against the occupier.''
According to local sources and the Dasar and Kalkini Upazila administrations, Sunil Gangopadhyay's ancestral property in the East Maijpara mouza of Kazibakai Union in Dasar Upazila consists of 7 acres and 15 decimals of land.
Of this, 2 acres and 97 decimals are recorded as government khas land.
Last Saturday afternoon, BNP leader Sohel Howlader and his associates broke into a tin shed room of the novelist's ancestral home (Sunil Smriti Pathagar), vandalized the belongings, books, furniture, and images, including a picture of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. They then stored about a truckload of OMS rice in the room and locked it with a new padlock. They also removed a signboard put up by the deputy commissioner in front of the house.
A local individual responsible for overseeing the writer's ancestral home, speaking on condition of anonymity
... for fear of being murdered... , said: ''Since the change in government, Sohel Howlader has been claiming the writer's land as his own with his people. When some supporters of the Awami League criticized him, he attacked their homes. Now, no one is speaking out of fear. Taking advantage of this, Sohel and his people broke the lock of the tin shed room and installed a new lock. They stored OMS rice there. The local administration and everyone is aware of this.''
''We have received reports that an individual has taken possession of Sunil Gangopadhyay's ancestral home by breaking the lock. The UNO and AC Land have been instructed to take action against those involved. They will vacate the writer's house and take necessary steps,'' said the Madaripur DC Mohammad Maroofur Rashid Khan.

Nobody cared when illegals were killing people in DUI crashes, raping them in shelters, strangling them on college campuses, beating cops in Times Square
Republicans — including Senators Vance and Cruz and the House Judiciary Committee — are using online rumors that Haitian migrants colonists in Ohio are stealing and eating pets as evidence of Biden-Harris’s failed immigration policy. The only problem is that no such reports have been brought to local police.
According to a local newspaper at Springfield, the News-Sun, police at the central Ohio city have not received any reports related to pets being stolen and eaten. While the police were aware that the allegations were being shared on social media, such crimes are "not something that’s on our radar right now," the police department told the Springfield News-Sun on Monday morning.
The Springfield police department has not yet responded to the Sun’s request for comment. The accusations being levied against the Haitian community are being described by the New York Times
...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... as "false." They are being used by Republicans to criticize the Biden-Harris administration’s immigration policies.
"Months ago, I raised the issue of Haitian illegal immigrants colonists draining social services and generally causing chaos all over Springfield, Ohio," the GOP vice presidential nominee, Senator Vance, wrote in a post on X on Monday morning. "Reports now show that people have had their pets kidnapped and eaten by people who shouldn’t be in this country. Where is our border czar?"
Senator Cruz joined in by posting an image on X of two cats embracing with the text "Please vote for Trump so Haitian immigrants colonists don’t eat us." The House Judiciary GOP posted an AI-generated image on X of President Trump holding a duck and a kitten in his arms, adding, "Protect our ducks and kittens in Ohio."
Donald Trump ...Oh, noze! Not him!... Jr. shared an NBC news headline from June which announced that the Biden administration would provide temporary protected status to more than 300,000 Haitian immigrants colonists. "Less than three months ago, Kamala Harris It is time for us to do what we have been doing. And that time is every day and her Administration blocked 300k unvetted Haitian Migrants from being deported out of our country," the junior Mr. Trump wrote on X. "Today, those unvetted migrants colonists are sucking up precious resources and destroying Springfield, Ohio. Kamala Harris did this."
The pet-napping allegations gained traction after a conservative pundit, Charlie Kirk, claimed on Sunday in a widely shared post on X that "Residents of Springfield, OH are reporting that Haitians are eating their family pets, another gift of the Biden-Harris mass immigration replacement plan."
"Liberals will soon be lecturing Americans on why they need to be sensitive to Haitian culture and accept this as the new normal," Mr. Kirk added. "Those idiots deserve to be condemned and mocked mercilessly. Save our pets. Secure our borders." Mr. Kirk shared a screenshot of a post made in a private Facebook group, Springfield Ohio Crime and Information, in which a local accused Haitian migrants colonists of stealing and eating a neighbor’s lost cat.
The cat, the anonymous user wrote, was found "hanging from a branch, like you’d do a deer for butchering" and the migrants colonists were "carving it up to eat." The user added: "I’ve been told they are doing this to dogs, they have been doing it at snyder park with the ducks & geese, as I was told that last bit by Rangers & police. Please keep a close eye on these animals."
The post has since received more than three million views and counting. It even caught the eyes of Tesla’s chief executive, Elon Musk, who commented: "Apparently, people’s pet cats are being eaten."
The post echoes claims made during a city commission meeting last month, in which an angered local accused Haitian migrants colonists of "grabbing up ducks by their neck, and cutting their head off and walking off with them. They’re eating them," he added.
In the past four years, Springfield, Ohio — which, in 2020, boasted around 58,000 residents — has taken in nearly 20,000 Haitian migrants colonists seeking to fill job vacancies. The town’s Haitian migrants colonists are credited by local businesses with helping to reignite Springfield’s lagging economy post pandemic, filling much-needed positions in warehouses, manufacturing, and the service industry.
However,
there's more than one way to skin a cat... the population inflow has also prompted the town to face "a significant housing crisis," Springfield’s city manager, Bryan Heck, wrote this summer in a letter to Senators Scott and Brown requesting federal financial aid.
With tensions already brewing between locals and migrants colonists over strained resources, the conflict came to a head last year when a Haitian driver was involved in a deadly car accident. The driver, who was carrying a foreign license, swerved into oncoming traffic and hit a school bus, killing an 11-year-old and injuring 23 other children.
The accident was "the match on the tinder bundle," said the Clark County health commissioner, Chris Cook.
On the other hand, NoMoreBS gives us Zero Hedge’s report, which brings receipts, as I believe the kids say nowadays. Interesting times, most assuredly.

In the book "They Were Expendable" by William L. White the PT boat crewmen tried eating a cat because they were very tired of eating canned salmon which was almost all they had. They described it as horrible and would rather eat the canned salmon.

The situation in Springfield was covered in Rantburg a couple/three months ago, including how stats such as crime and income mysteriously quit being reported around 2021.
The town’s Haitian migrants colonists are credited by local businesses with helping to reignite Springfield’s lagging economy post pandemic, filling much-needed positions in warehouses, manufacturing, and the service industry.
If this were true, the stats would still be reported, highlighted, and prime timed on national TV.
Immigrants killing geese at Central Park is a thing, so these NYC papers have no cred.

Always welcome, my dear. Fred very kindly invented the Related keyword search because I am forever looking things up in the archives that I otherwise only remember the barest outline of.
Seen on Instapundit, I thought this also illuminates Springfield, Ohio’s pain — longer term and harshly:
Until last year, except for a four year period in the 1990s, from 1990-2023, the mayor of Springfield, OH was the late Warren Copeland. Copeland since the late 1970s was an associate professor at nearby Wittenberg University, a private liberal arts college. He specialized in…
The rest of the tweet: … He specialized in religion, with a focus on Social Ethics. He wrote a book on Springfield titled "Updating the Dream" in 1997. He wrote a book about his view of governance titled, "Doing Justice in Our Cities: Lessons in Public Policy from America’s Heartland" where you can get a summary of here. https://amzn.to/3XA7VrM
The present mayor is just having to deal with what Springfield voted for during most of the previous three decades.
Those 20,000 Haitians did not show up overnight or uninvited. Though flown in by the federal government, they were not forced on the city by the federal government.
Elections have consequences. Springfield voted for this. They signaled their virtue, their signal was seen, and virtue arrived.
This is what they wanted. This is what they got. They'll have to deal with the consequences.

Note to KARMA:
Nice start. You will be very busy after Jan. 20th, 2025. So it's best to get an early start, with the 100's of other such Anarchist Leaders.
[IsraelTimes] Muslim Brotherhood political arm demands abrogation of pro-Western kingdom’s ties with Israel, overhaul of electoral system that disadvantages urban Islamists
Jordan’s main opposition, buoyed by anger over the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... war, says it expects its Islamists to win enough seats in Tuesday’s election to loudly challenge the country’s pro-Western stance, a result that could stir up the kingdom’s staid political scene.
The opposition Islamic Action Front ...Jordan's branch of the Moslem Brüderbund... (IAF), the Jordanian political arm of the Moslem Brüderbund, says its voice is needed in the assembly to help reverse unpopular economic policies, stand up to laws curbing public freedoms and oppose further normalization with Israel, with which Jordan signed a peace treaty in 1994.
"It’s enough that there is a significant bloc that is able to influence public opinion and the general political scene," Murad Adailah, the head of Jordan’s Moslem Brüderbund, which is an ideological ally of Hamas ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,... , told Rooters.
In a country where anti-Israel sentiment runs high, the Gaza war is expected to help the electoral fortunes of the IAF, which is Jordan’s largest opposition party and has led some of the region’s biggest pro-Hamas rallies.
Hundreds erupted into the streets of Amman to celebrate on Sunday, hours after a gunman from Jordan rubbed out three Israeli civilians at the Allenby Bridge border crossing with the West Bank.
The IAF, fielding only 38 candidates for the 138-seat assembly, is unlikely to unseat the tribal, centrist and pro-government deputies who dominate a system that underrepresents cities, where their Islamist and liberal opponents do best.
But the Islamists, who have angered the authorities with demands to abrogate the peace treaty and end commercial ties with Israel, are urging supporters to go out and vote to show their opposition to Israel’s offensive in Gaza.
"Today what is happening in Gaza is an existentialist [sic] battle and neither the Jordanian or Islamic movement can be bystanders. The voice of the Jordanian street was heard and influential," Adailah said in an interview on Monday.
He said the Jordanian state needed a strong parliament more than ever, arguing that a vocal IAF parliamentary presence could strengthen Jordan’s ability to navigate, and if necessary stand up to, any pressures it might face from Israel and Western allies.
Adailah was echoing sentiments by many Jordanians across the political spectrum, who fear Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government seeks a wider war in which Paleostinians in the Israel-controlled West Bank could be pushed out to Jordan.
”Because even we, their Jordanian brothers, think Palestinians are icky and dangerous. We have not yet forgotten when they tried to overthrow King Hussein in Black September (1970-71).”
Israel on Saturday completed a 10-day counterterrorism operation in the northern West Bank, as fighting in Gaza drags on. The war in Gaza was sparked when thousands of Hamas-led faceless myrmidons stormed southern Israel on October 7 to kill nearly 1,200 people and take 251 hostages.
VOTING SYSTEM FAVORS TRIBAL AREAS
The Islamic Action Front is contesting the polls despite its reservations over a voting system the party feels is biased against it. Party leaders are demanding even broader political representation following changes introduced under an electoral law passed in 2022.
"The law is not up to our ambitions but it presents a recipe for gradual political reforms," Adailah said, referring to the law that for the first time directly allocates 41 seats for over 30 licensed and mostly pro-government parties.
Officials say the vote is a milestone in a democratization process launched by King Abdullah, paving the way for political parties to play a bigger role.
The results — due within 48 hours of polls closing — are expected to keep parliament in the hands of tribal and pro-government factions, which are powerless to make deep changes.
Nevertheless, the elections could see the Islamists shaking up Jordan’s bland political scene, analysts said.
"We expect a significant bloc from these elections provided we are left without a direct and blatant interference in the ballot box," Adailah said, without being drawn into exactly how many seats they expect to capture.
The party, whose slogan is "With Islam we protect the nation," says the authorities have used clan pressure to persuade tens of IAF candidates to drop out of the race.
"This hurts our chances," Adailah said.
Now, the vote will test the Islamists’ grassroots support, politicians and analysts say. Most other candidates with limited political agendas have focused their campaigns on economic conditions such as unemployment, public services and inflation.
[NYSun] With Jordanians voting for a new parliament Tuesday, the Hashemite kingdom’s delicate ties with America and Israel are expected to become even more fraught.
King Abdullah II is walking a tightrope: While he needs to appease angry constituents who are seething over the worsening economy and the Gazoo war, he also must maintain vital relations with Israel. With Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... seeking to add Jordan to its "ring of fire" strategy targeting Israel, the Islamic Theocratic Republic’s interference in local Jordanian politics is further undermining the king’s grip on power.
[IsraelTimes] Lebanese terror group claims to have targeted IDF base, kilometers away from apartment building that sustained direct impact; 2 soldiers lightly hurt in separate attack
Leb ...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. ’s Hezbollah on Monday launched explosive-laden drones at northern Israel, one of which impacted a high-rise residential building in the coastal city of Nahariya, causing damage, authorities said.
The Israel Defense Forces said two drones were launched in the attack, which was later claimed by the terror group.
There were no injuries in the attack, though the drone that hit the building caused damage to two apartments.
In a statement, the terror group took responsibility for the drones but claimed to have targeted a military base, the IDF’s Shraga Camp, some three kilometers (1.8 miles) south of Nahariya.
Hezbollah said the attack was a response to recent IDF strikes in southern Lebanon.
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi called the attack "a serious incident."
Wrapping up an assessment on the northern front with the military’s top brass, Halevi said the "IDF operates strongly in the north, and is at a high level of readiness with prepared operational plans, ready for any mission that will be required."
In another attack on the Western Galilee on Monday, three explosive-laden drones launched from Lebanon struck near the border community of Shlomi, lightly injuring two soldiers, the IDF said.
Hezbollah took responsibility for the attack, saying it targeted a military base in the area.
The IDF said the soldiers were taken to a hospital in good condition.
In addition to the drones, Hezbollah also fired more than 20 rockets from Lebanon at northern Israel on Monday, according to the IDF. The rockets targeted the Western Galilee, the Kiryat Shmona area, and the Galilee Panhandle. There were no reports of injuries.
The terror group also claimed to have launched a surface-to-air missile at an Israeli fighter jet over southern Lebanon on Monday, forcing it to retreat.
Meanwhile,
...back at the Council of Boskone, Helmuth had turned a paler shade of blue. Star-A-Star had struck again... on Monday, the IDF said fighter jets struck several buildings and observation posts belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon’s Kafr Kila.
Another dronezap targeted a Hezbollah operative in Tallouseh, the military said.
Separately, Israeli tanks shelled a Hezbollah observation post in Kafr Shouba, the IDF added.
Overnight, Israeli fighter jets struck several sites and a rocket launcher belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon’s Kafr Kila, Taybeh, Hanine, and Yarine, the IDF said earlier Monday.
A separate strike on Sunday night in Khirbet Selm targeted a building used by Hezbollah, the military added.
Amid the ongoing exchanges of fire between Israel and Hezbollah, US CENTCOM chief Gen. Michael Kurilla, who was again visiting Israel, met with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi and other generals on Sunday, the Israeli military said. The IDF said the visit "focuses on current threats, with an emphasis on threats from Lebanon and Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... in the northern arena."
After an assessment with Halevi, Kurilla met with Northern Command chief Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin at the command’s underground war room, where the military said he was "presented with the IDF’s operational plans for Lebanon." At least the Op Plans they're willing to share with the US. Not necessarily the real ones
"The IDF will continue to deepen its relationship with the US Armed Forces, due to our commitment to strengthening regional stability and the coordination between the militaries," the IDF added.
On Sunday, Kurilla met with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Gallant on X said that they had discussed "the operational and strategic situation in the region" and "reflected on ways to further strengthen interoperability to achieve our common objectives."
Since October 8, Hezbollah-led forces have attacked Israeli communities and military posts along the border on a near-daily basis. So far, the skirmishes have resulted in 26 civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of 20 IDF soldiers and reservists. There have also been several attacks from Syria, without any injuries.
Hezbollah has named 433 members who have been killed by Israel during the ongoing skirmishes, mostly in Lebanon but some also in Syria. Another 78 operatives from other terror groups, a Lebanese soldier, and dozens of civilians have also been killed.

This is what children in northern Israel have been dealing with all morning today: Iranian made suicide drones sent by Hezbollah.
[AFRICANEWS] More than 16 months of war in Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... has killed more than 20,000 people, a senior United Nations ...an organization which on balance has done more bad than good, with the good not done well and the bad done thoroughly... official said Sunday, a grim figure amid a devastating conflict that has wrecked the northeastern African country.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director general of the World Health Organization, gave the tally at a news conference in Sudan's Red Sea city of Port Sudan, which serves as the seat of the internationally recognized, military-backed government. He said the corpse count could be much higher.
''Sudan is suffering through a perfect storm of crisis,'' Tedros said as he wrapped up his two-day visit to Sudan. ''The scale of the emergency is shocking, as is the insufficient action being taken to curtail the conflict.''
Sudan was plunged into chaos in April last year when simmering tensions between the military and a powerful paramilitary group, the Rapid Support Forces, went kaboom! into open warfare across the country.
The conflict has turned the capital, Khartoum, and other urban areas into battlefields, wrecking civilian infrastructure and an already battered health care system. Without the basics, many hospitals and medical facilities have closed their doors.
The conflict has created the world's largest displacement crisis. More than 13 million people have been forced to flee their homes since fighting began, according to the International Organization for Migration. They include over 2.3 million who have fled to neighboring countries as refugees.
The fighting has been marked by atrocities including mass rape and ethnically motivated killings that amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, according to the U.N. and international rights groups.
On Friday, U.N.-backed human rights When they're defined by the state or an NGO they don't mean much... Sherlocks urged the creation of an ''independent and impartial force'' to protect civilians, blaming both sides for war crimes including murder, mutilation and torture.
Devastating seasonal floods in recent weeks have compounded the misery. Dozens of people have been killed and critical infrastructure has been washed away in 12 of Sudan's 18 provinces, according to local authorities.
A cholera outbreak is the latest calamity for the country. The disease has killed at least 165 and sickened about 4,200 others in recent weeks, the health ministry said in its latest update on Friday.
''We are calling on the world to wake up and help Sudan out of the nightmare it's living through,'' Tedros said, adding that an immediate cease-fire is urgently required.
''The best medicine is peace,'' he added.

The Houthi-run al-Masirah channel reported that US and UK aircraft carried out one strike on the al-Jabanah region of Hodeidah but provided no information on the targeted locations, casualties or damage.
The attack in Hodeidah came a day after the Houthis said that the two countries had conducted three Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s on unidentified targets in the Maytam region, north of Ibb province.
At the same time, US Central Command said on Sunday evening that over the past 24 hours, its forces had destroyed three Houthi drones and two missile systems in a Houthi-controlled Yemeni area, all of which were threatening US-led coalition ships and commercial vessels in international shipping lanes.
Houthi attacks on ships led the US to form a coalition of marine task forces to defend vessels, designate the Houthis as a terrorist group and launch strikes against Houthi-controlled Yemen, including Sanaa, Saada, Ibb and Hodeidah, in collaboration with the UK.
Hodeidah, Yemen's only major coastal city under Houthi control, has received most of the US and UK strikes since January, as the militia is said to have used its coasts to launch explosive-laden and remote-controlled boats to attack ships.

Note Qatar financial support. The al-Thani family that has ruled Qatar for decades has long been a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan al-Muslimeen), and its center of operation outside of Europe is located there. The Pentagon stupidly opened a base there and provides the family with protection. The State Department has believed and still believes that the al-Thani are trustworthy go-betweens. This has only proved how stupid our politicians and diplomats really are.

The corruption runs deeper than the Department of State.
[NAHARNET] Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant commented the situation on the Lebanese border Sunday during a tour of the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza, telling troops "we are preparing for anything that may happen in the north."
"The shift of the center of gravity can happen quickly and can also involve you in a short period of time," Gallant said, according to a statement issued by his office.

[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Algerian authorities declared President Abdulmadjid Tebboune
…FLN Party stalwart who has held many government positions over the years. He currently hold the Minister of Defence portfolio as well as the presidency…
the clear winner of Saturday’s election giving him a second five-year term in office.
Supported by the military, Tebboune faced only nominal opposition from Hassani Cherif, a moderate conservative, and Aouchiche, a moderate secularist, both backed by Algeria’s powerful establishment.
Hassani Cherif’s campaign claimed that polling officials were pressured to inflate results and that there were failures to provide vote-sorting records to candidates’ representatives, along with instances of proxy group voting.
"This is a farce," said Hassani Cherif’s spokesperson, Ahmed Sadok, asserting that the candidate had won significantly more votes than announced, citing the campaign’s own tallies from various regions. The claim could not be verified.
However,
those who apply themselves too closely to little things often become incapable of great things... electoral commission head Mohammed Charfi stated during the results announcement that the commission had ensured transparency and fair competition amongst all candidates.
Tebboune’s re-election signals that Algeria will likely continue its current governing program, which has resumed generous social spending fuelled by increased energy revenues after he took office in 2019 during a period of lower oil prices.
He has pledged to raise unemployment benefits, pensions, and public housing programs, all of which he expanded during his first term.
Buying off the voters. He sponsored a Constitutional rewrite that included a two-term limit on the president. Will he stick to it at the end of this term, or suddenly discover that he needs more time to put things in order before letting someone else take the reins?

[NEWARAB] A fully-fledged war between Israel and Leb ...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... will erupt in a "matter of days", a member of the Israeli parliament (MK) has claimed, threatening that Beirut's southern suburbs "will look like Gazoo

It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... " if conflict breaks out.
"There is no other way," MK Nissim Vaturi of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's governing Likud party told Israel's Kan broadcaster.
"This is something that will develop in the coming days."
Vaturi claimed that Netanyahu briefed military officials on Sunday and told them "we must end this saga."
The MK, who is a member of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee, said Israel should carry out a "major" pre-emptive strike on Lebanon that would last for days, followed by a ground invasion of the country's south.
Vaturi has made a number of incendiary comments about Lebanese and Paleostinians throughout Israel's indiscriminate war on Gaza. He has previously said that Gaza should be "erased" and called Israelis protesting for a deal to free hostages a "branch of Hamas ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,... The area south of Beirut which Vaturi referred to, known as the "Dahieh" - or suburb in Arabic - has been hit twice since hostilities between Lebanon's Shia Hezbollah group and Israel began in October.
[IsraelTimes] A full-blown war between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon could have “catastrophic and unforeseen consequences,” a senior US official tells the Middle East America Dialogue (MEAD) summit in Washington, DC.
"There is no war in lab conditions. It’s not a game. I don’t doubt the capabilities of the IDF, but we have to think about the fact that there will be serious consequences for both sides," the unnamed US official is quoted by Israeli journalist Barak Ravid as saying, in addition to other reports in Hebrew.
The comments at the closed-door summit come amid near-daily attacks from Hezbollah-led forces on Israeli communities and military posts along the border since October 8, with the group saying it is doing so to support Gaza and its allied Palestinian terror group Hamas amid the ongoing war there since October 7.
Speaking yesterday at the same conference, former war cabinet minister Benny Gantz said Israel should shift its focus toward Hezbollah and the Lebanese border, warning that “we are late on this,” while also warning that a war with the Iran-backed terror group is imminent if Israel does not soon strike a hostage-ceasefire deal with Hamas in Gaza.
While Gantz and other Israeli officials say that a major operation in Lebanon is the only way to return tens of thousands of Israelis to their homes on the northern border, the US official warns that many civilians could be killed in the fighting and wouldn’t have homes to return to, according to Ravid.
“There is an idea of let’s go to war and then we will destroy all the missiles Hezbollah has and everything will be fine. It’s not that simple. There is no magic solution. The other side cannot be annihilated. At the end of the war, Israel may pay a heavy price and not achieve its goals,” the official is quoted as saying, while recommending a diplomatic rather than military solution to calm the border tensions.
The official argues that if a war breaks out, the international community will intervene to reach a diplomatic solution that is similar to what can be clinched now.
Since Hamas’s October 7 massacre, Israel has warned it can no longer tolerate Hezbollah’s presence along its border following the atrocities perpetrated by the Palestinian terror group and has warned that should a diplomatic solution not be reached, it will turn to military action to push Hezbollah northward.
[X] Defense Minister Yoav Gallant vows that Israel will kill the Sinwar brothers, Yahya and Muhammad, during a visit to the Netzarim Corridor in the central Gaza Strip today.
"We will reach Muhammad Sinwar and also Yahya Sinwar. Anyone who thinks otherwise should look at Marwan Issa [and] Muhammad Deif, they also thought they were immune, they are not with us today, they made their mistake. [Sinwar] will also make his mistake, [and] we will carry out our mission," Gallant says.
Yahya Sinwar is the leader of Hamas in Gaza, and was recently appointed as the head of the terror group following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh. Muhammad is a senior commander in Hamas's military wing.
Is Yahya still running around disguised in women’s clothing?
I think he just likes the kink

Go get em,...and when you're done, deposit them in the Med outside of territorial waters, like what the U.S. did with Bin-Laden.
[GEOTV] Israeli army confirmed that it has detained a United Nations ...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks... convoy in northern Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... , claiming it has intelligence that a ''number of Paleostinian suspects are present'' in it.
In a brief statement, the army said: ''The event is not over yet,''
The army detained the convoy in order to ''question the suspects'', it said, adding that this is not a convoy containing polio ...Poliomyelitis is a disease caused by infection with the poliovirus. Between 1840 and the 1950s, polio was a worldwide epidemic. Since the development of polio vaccines the disease has been largely wiped out in the civilized world. However, since the vaccine is known to make Moslem pee-pees shrink and renders females sterile, bookish, and unsubmissive it is not widely used by the turban and automatic weapons set. Currently the disease is only found in Pakistain and Afghanistain... vaccines.
UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said that the organization is aware ''of an ongoing incident involving UN personnel and vehicles'' and was working to establish the facts.
He said the top UN priority ''is the safety and security of our colleagues'' in the Gaza Strip.
[IsraelTimes] The head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees says a convoy of United Nations vehicles and staff detained by Israel in northern Gaza on Monday has been released and are back at a UN facility.
UNRWA chief Phillip Lazzarini says the convoy was carrying Gazans and foreign staff who were en route to Gaza City and northern Gaza to roll out a polio vaccination campaign when they were detained.
“The convoy was stopped at gun point just after the Wadi Gaza checkpoint with threats to detain UN staff. Heavy damage was caused by bulldozers to the UN armoured vehicles,” Lazzarini says on X. “All staff & convoy are now released & back safely in the UN base.”
The Israeli military said earlier it detained the convoy after receiving intelligence indicating that “Palestinian suspects” had snuck aboard the convoy. It had disputed claims that the convoy was carrying polio vaccines.
Lazarini says he is unsure if the vaccination campaign will resume in northern Gaza on Tuesday.
This significant incident is the latest in a series of violations against UN staff including shootings at convoys & arrests by the Israeli Armed Forces at checkpoints despite prior notification,” Lazzarini complains.

UNRWA head says polio campaign may be paused after IDF detained convoy
Shows how much they really care for "the children of Gaza.
[GEOTV] Germany's government announced plans to impose tighter controls at all of the country's land borders in what it called an attempt to tackle irregular migration and protect the public from threats such as extremism.
The controls within what is normally a wide area of free movement - the European Schengen zone - will start on September 16 and initially last for six months, Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said on Monday.
“After half a year the election will be over and the voters will have other concerns,” she added. “Then we can drop it like a hot potato without anyone noticing.”
The government has also designed a scheme enabling authorities to reject more migrants colonists directly at German borders, Faeser said, without adding details on the controversial and legally fraught move.
The restrictions are part of a series of measures Germany has taken to toughen its stance on irregular migration in recent years following a surge in arrivals, in particular people fleeing war and poverty in the Middle East.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz's government is seeking to seize back the initiative from the opposition far-right and conservatives, who have seen support rise as they tap into voter worries about stretched public services, integration and security.
"We are strengthening internal security and continuing our hard line against irregular migration," Faeser said, noting the government had notified the European Commission and neighbouring countries of the intended controls.
Recent deadly knife attacks in which the suspects were asylum seekers have stoked concerns over immigration. The ISIS group grabbed credit for a knife attack in the western city of Solingen that killed three people in August.
The AfD earlier this month became the first far-right party since World War Two to win a state election, in Thuringia, after campaigning heavily on the issue of migration.
Polls show it is also voters' top concern in the state of Brandenburg, which is set to hold elections in two weeks.
Scholz and Faeser's centre-left Social Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... (SPD) are fighting to retain control of the government there, in a vote billed as a test of the strength of the SPD ahead of next year's federal election.
"The intention of the government seems to be to show symbolically to Germans and potential migrants colonists that the latter are no longer wanted here," said Marcus Engler at the German Centre for Integration and Migration Research.
A backlash had been building in Germany ever since it took in more than a million people mostly fleeing war-torn countries such as Syria during the 2015/2016 migrant crisis, migration experts say.
It reached a tipping point in the country of 84 million people after it automatically granted asylum to around a million Ukrainians fleeing Russia's 2022 invasion even as Germany was struggling through an energy and economic crisis.
Since then, the German government has agreed to tighter deportation rules and resumed flying convicted criminals of Afghan nationality to their home country, despite suspending deportations after the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... took power in 2021 due to human rights ...which often include carefully measured allowances of freedom at the convenience of the state... concerns.
[GEOTV] A group of 10 retired top US military officials endorsed US Vice President Kamala Harris It is time for us to do what we have been doing. And that time is every day in a letter made public on Monday, saying she is the only presidential candidate fit to serve as the nation's commander in chief and calling her Republican rival Donald Trump ...The Hero of Butler, Pennsylvania... "a danger to our national security and democracy."
The letter, signed by Retired General Larry Ellis and Retired Rear Admiral Michael Smith, among others, cited Trump's comments disparaging members of the military and his own "chaotic approach" to Afghanistan ahead of the US withdrawal, including negotiating a deal with the Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... that allowed 5,000 of the group's fighters to return to the battlefield.
In contrast, they wrote, Harris "has demonstrated her ability to take on the most difficult national security challenges in the Situation Room and on the international stage," from Russia's invasion of Ukraine to tensions with China in the Indo-Pacific.
"Harris is the best — and only — presidential candidate in this race who is fit to serve as our commander in chief," they wrote in the letter posted on X by Harris's campaign.
So sweet of them to tell us how to think.
The Democratic vice president and Trump, who is running for the third time after serving from 2017 to early 2021, face a tight race before the November 5 election in an unprecedented contest in which the future of American democracy looms large.
The letter coincided with a new Harris campaign ad released before the two candidates' Tuesday night debate featuring former Trump officials warning that a second Trump presidency would pose major risks.

Interesting.
Is this in regards to buying evacuation time with a bunker full of cash, the surrender of tens of millions of tax payer funded equipment, or the kicking off refugees from planes in order to load war trophies?

[AFRICANEWS] A South African hunter is believed to have been eaten by crocodiles after he went missing during a safari hunt in Zim-bob-we.
Crocodiles have been known to do that…
44-year-old Scott van Zyl, who owns a professional hunting company, disappeared last Friday on the banks of the Limpopo River in Zim-bob-we, British news portal The Telegraph reported on Tuesday.
The dogs he was hunting with returned without him and his rifle and personal items were intact in his pickup truck.
A search team traced his tracks to the banks of the river and found his backpack.
Police and park authorities decided to shoot two suspected Nile crocodiles and ''found what could possibly be human remains in them'', a member of the search party told The Telegraph.
The remains are reportedly being tested by forensic experts to verify if they belong to Scott van Zyl.
Crocodile attacks are common near river banks with at least four people killed in Zim-bob-we in the past month.
In March, a 19-year-old Mozambican football player Estevao Alberto Gino was killed by a crocodile along the Zambezi river in western Mozambique.
''The crocodile came out of the water abruptly and took him by the waist. After that, the animal ran back into the water,'' the founder and coach of his amateur side club, Eduardo Carvalho told the media.

[Regnum] In the city of Segezha in the Republic of Karelia, 115 people were poisoned by shawarma. This was reported by the press service of the regional Rospotrebnadzor.
“As of 09:00 (Moscow time), the Federal Budgetary Institution of Health “Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Republic of Karelia” received a total of 115 emergency notifications of cases of acute intestinal infections, including 48 children under 17 years of age, associated with the consumption of shawarma,” the publication states.
The agency representatives noted that the disease was moderate to severe. Laboratory tests diagnosed salmonellosis in the victims. Numerous gross violations related to water supply and personal hygiene conditions were identified at the point where the shawarma was sold. In connection with this, the court suspended the operation of the establishment where the shawarma was sold for 60 days. On September 11, three schools were closed for quarantine.
Representatives of Rospotrebnadzor explained that on September 4, a mass poisoning by shawarma occurred in Segezha. Investigators from the prosecutor's office established that all the victims bought ready-made food at the same food service outlet.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, the schoolgirl died after eating shawarma that she bought in a cafe in the city of Tetyushi in Tatarstan. The eleven-year-old girl felt ill shortly after eating the dish, she was very nauseous. Two days later, the child was hospitalized in a state of acute toxic poisoning and shock. Later, E. coli and salmonella were found in the food products of the cafe where the child was poisoned.
Earlier, employees of the Moscow office of Rospotrebnadzor temporarily closed the canteen of the Cherkizovsky meat-packing plant due to violations identified during an inspection conducted after the mass poisonings.

[REGNUM] Russian troops continue to push back the enemy along the entire line of contact, forcing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to surrender their fortified positions.
The most tense section of the front remains the area of the settlement of Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) - the last regional center in the eastern part of Donbass that remains under the control of Kyiv.
The offensive in the Pokrovsk direction continues confidently, despite the attempts made by the Ukrainian Armed Forces Command to stabilize the situation at the front. The day before, Kiev reported that additional reinforcements had been sent to the front and that the situation had "improved." In reality, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to retreat, surrendering one settlement after another.
In particular, it became known about the liberation of the settlement of Memrik, which is located south of the E50 Pokrovsk-Karlovka highway. The message about the liberation of the settlement was confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Earlier, the department also reported the liberation of the settlement of Kalinovoye on the approaches to Selidovo.
Neo-Nazi formations from the Azov regiment were deployed as a "fire brigade" in this direction. The presence of motivated fighters is intended to boost the fighting spirit of the units that remain at the front for six months without rotation or reinforcements, a source for Regnum news agency, who is located in the Pokrovsky direction, reports.
"In some places they have stopped rolling back and retreating, now they regularly try to counterattack. As a rule, they do not succeed, but at least they show initiative. I will not say that this creates problems for us, but the enemy has pulled up reserves, that is a fact," the agency's interlocutor reports.
He also noted that the arrival of Azov at the front could indicate two things: either Kiev considers the situation in the Pokrovsk area to be critical, or the radicals are called upon to cover the rotation of forces at the front.
Previously, the "Azov" troops were used in the Avdiivka area to cover the retreat of the Ukrainian garrison from the city, and after the operation was completed, they were withdrawn to the rear. Moreover, the Ukrainian troops at the front are in desperate need of rotation.
Servicemen of the 79th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which received the nickname "airborne" due to its unsuccessful and bloody counterattacks, complained to The Economist about the shortage of troops and high losses. According to the servicemen, the situation at the front is getting more complicated, logistics are becoming problematic - with interruptions in the supply of ammunition and the evacuation of the wounded, the article notes.
"We brought our last reserves into the battle and threw our logistics guys into the trenches," Ukrainian soldiers say.
The servicemen of the 79th Brigade also complained about the superiority of Russian artillery and aviation, especially the use of glide bombs, which they have no way of defending themselves against.
"THE UKRAINIAN ARMED FORCES ARE FACING BIG PROBLEMS"
Sending untrained fighters to the front line led to individual units being “forgotten” during the retreat, the command of the neo-Nazi brigade “Aidar” (the organization’s activities are banned in the Russian Federation) reported. According to information from Ukrainian sources, a group of Ukrainian soldiers found themselves surrounded in the area between the settlements of Lysovka and Zhelannoye.
It is reported that there are many wounded in the encircled units.
However, these setbacks seem trivial compared to what awaits the enemy forces in the Pokrovsk direction in the foreseeable future. After the liberation of the settlement of Memrik and the advance of Russian troops in the Ukrainsk area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces operating in this direction found themselves on the verge of encirclement, reports Forbes military observer David Axe.
The 59th Motorized Infantry and 68th Jaeger brigades, the 117th Territorial Defense Brigade and the 15th National Guard brigade are at risk. The Ukrainian Armed Forces command in the Pokrovsk direction is thus faced with a difficult choice: continue fighting with an inconvenient front configuration or begin withdrawing forces. The front is now completely dependent on the formations of the 25th Airborne Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which is holding the front in the Ukrainsk area.
A source for the Regnum news agency confirmed that Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsk direction are in a difficult situation from a strategic point of view.
"As for how they plan to encircle them, and whether they plan to do so at all, that's a question for the command. But if we think in theory, it's important to cut their defenses now. In particular, if we cut the E50 highway, separate Pokrovsk from Selidovo, Selidovo from Kurakhovo, in a word, disrupt communications. In short, they're in for big trouble," the source notes.
He also confirmed that during a retreat, the Ukrainian Armed Forces often "lose" individual fighters and entire units. As a rule, untrained fighters from among those mobilized are left on the front lines. They are offered to "cover" the escape of regular units and command staff.
This attitude towards personnel serves the only goal that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are pursuing: to slow down the Russian offensive as much as possible, regardless of losses.
THERE ARE RESERVES, BUT THEY ARE IN THE REAR.
The Russian army's offensive also continues in the area of the city of Toretsk. According to local reports, fighting continues in residential areas on the southern, eastern and northern outskirts of the settlement.
"The development has been turned into a solid "fortification". It is important for us not to break through with force, not to try to push them through. Now "artillery" and aviation are pinpointing firing points and identified defense nodes, for a decisive assault it is also necessary to deprive the enemy of supplies," explains a source of IA Regnum in the region.
According to available information, the Ukrainian Armed Forces command has not yet decided to send reserves to this section of the front. At the same time, Kyiv continues to hold a large group in the rear, which has not been involved in combat operations in any of the threatening directions.
According to Western sources, 10-15 mechanized and infantry brigades, each numbering up to 2,000 people, remain in reserve. F-16 aircraft, which until now have only been used in the rear to shoot down drones and missiles, also remain in reserve.
There are also reports that the Ukrainian command has withdrawn some of its reserve units from the Belarusian border to form a new group, designed to go on the offensive in one of the sections of the front in the foreseeable future.
It is assumed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces may try to send new forces to organize another provocation on the Russian-Ukrainian border as of early 2022. A number of sources suggest that the Zaporizhia direction may be chosen for the offensive.
At the same time, Russian troops can use the enemy’s attempt to counterattack for their own offensive and the collapse of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defensive front.

[LIBYAREVIEW] According to Africa Intelligence, the leadership crisis within Libya’s High Council of State (HCS) is derailing efforts by Acting UN Envoy Stephanie Khoury to resolve the ongoing conflict surrounding the governorship of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL).
Khoury has been working to secure an agreement on the governorship, a role essential for stabilizing Libya’s economy and managing its vital oil revenues. However,
if you can't say something nice about a person some juicy gossip will go well... her progress has been significantly hampered by political deadlock within the HCS.
The root of the problem lies in the disputed election held on August 6, 2023, which has left the council without a recognized leader. Khoury requires the approval of the HCS president to move forward with the negotiations, but the lack of consensus on the council’s leadership has left her efforts in limbo. This delay is not merely a bureaucratic hurdle; it threatens to deepen Libya’s financial instability and prolong its political divisions.
The CBL, as the primary institution responsible for managing the country’s oil revenues and overseeing national monetary policy, is a crucial player in Libya’s economic landscape. The governorship of the bank has been a contentious issue, especially given the power struggle between Libya’s rival governments in the east and west. The position has become highly politicized, and the inability to appoint a new governor is exacerbating an already fragile situation.
Libya’s economic future remains uncertain as long as this deadlock persists. The absence of a unified central bank leadership undermines financial stability, which is essential for the country’s recovery. Without swift resolution, the ongoing political paralysis could further entrench regional divides and complicate international mediation efforts aimed at ending the conflict.

[FoxNews] State Rep Benjamin Robbins, who represents the city, demands federal response from Mayorkas
Residents of a small Alabama city were up in arms at the migrant influx during a recent city council hearing that lawmakers suddenly cut short amid the outcry.
Meanwhile, state leaders demanded answers from the feds as the migrants appear to be in the country legally under Temporary Protective Status provisions extended to Haitian nationals by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
In Sylacauga, just south of NASCAR’s Talladega Superspeedway, City Council President Tiffany Nix abruptly curtailed public comment as residents demanded accountability for the at least 50 migrants that appeared in the city.
"We’re done," Nix responded to resident David Phillips, who had criticized council’s attitude as "entirely unacceptable" during the meeting last week.
"[Haiti is] a failed state – their president (Jovenel Moise) was assassinated in 2021 – there is no way the State Department can vet these individuals," Phillips said before Nix cut in as another resident called out, "Please let him talk."
State Rep. Benjamin Robbins, who represents the city, wrote a letter Thursday to Mayorkas, demanding a federal response.
"As the secretary of Homeland Security, you are charged with overseeing immigration enforcement and refugee resettlement," he wrote.
"Recently, my district has seen an influx of Haitian immigrants. You and your agency have failed in your responsibility to notify our community of the relocation of refugees, provide any information to local leaders or answer questions."
Robbins said the situation has caused "panic and confusion" and left local leaders "helpless." Robbins said he would demand Congress investigate if DHS does nothing.
Sylacauga Mayor Jim Heigl separately told Alabama’s 1819 News that information the migrants were in his city legally "came out from [Gov. Kay Ivey’s] office and also came from Mike Rogers’ office, [Sen.] Katie Britt’s office and [Sen. Tommy] Tuberville’s office.
Alabama House Speaker Nathaniel Ledbetter added his biggest concern is the lack of information from the feds on the migrants already inside the state.
"We have asked repeatedly," said Ledbetter, R-Rainsville. "Once they are here, communities like Sylacauga and Albertville are left to deal with the disaster. Our schools don’t have the ESL resources to support the immigrant children, housing these people is an issue, crime is an issue, and the federal government has offered zero support whatsoever."
Tuberville told Fox News Digital the feds are abusing their parole authority, which he said is supposed to be used sparingly and only for humanitarian purposes.
Instead, he said the administration is using it as a tool of "mass amnesty to millions of people."
"We have no idea who most of these people are," Tuberville said.

The political destruction of republican enclave (since before the civil war) Fayette County, GA. Clayton County from the East, and Fulton County from the North. They simply migrated to Fayette.
End result; increased crime and a change of the political landscape.
It doesn’t get much lewder than this. The only thing missing is a shoot-‘em-up with the cops. Note the miscreant’s changing pronouns throughout the article — someone is having fun with it.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A property manager from Oklahoma who began transitioning in prison had previously decapitated a friend in his home state it emerged today as he admitted the murder of a New York antiques dealer.
Alex Ray Scott, 28, fled the Sooner State in 2019 to escape allegations she molested a five-year-old, but not before dismembering Robin Skocdopole, 63, with a chainsaw. The revelations emerged as she appeared heavily made-up at Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday to admit killing Kenneth Savinski, 64, with a decorative plate, kitchen knife and 'maybe a pen' in January 2020.
'Scott agreed to take the FBI to the last known location of Skocdopole's head,' the Department of Justice said in a release.
'Unfortunately, when Scott took FBI to the location, no additional remains were found.'
Scott came to the authority's attention in January 2020 when she walked into a Manhattan police station covered in blood, and told officers: 'I think I may have killed someone last night.'
By then police had already found the body of the elegant antiques dealer in his Upper East Side apartment on 83rd Street near Park Avenue. Savinsky who met Scott on a dating site, was found with his throat cut and deep gashes to his head in the blood-spattered apartment.
Scott had been seen walking out of the apartment building, wearing Savinski's black jacket and counting money with noticeable hand injuries. Scott then allegedly used Savinski's credit cards to pay for a hotel room in New Jersey, where the killer woke up the next day, covered in blood and apparently with little memory of what had happened the night before.
Savinski's was one of five credit cards found on Scott, and investigators began tracing the owners of the others, one of whom was Skocdopole.
Scott told interviewers that she had lived at Skocpodole's single-story home in Broken Arrow, but no-one picked up the phone there to investigators.
The Broken Arrow Police Department was dispatched to the address with a search warrant in February 2020 and found the house empty of all possessions but splattered with blood. Three months later some of Skocpodole's dismembered remains were found in a nearby creek with a medical examiner concluding that both a chainsaw and a manual saw had been used to cut them up.
By then Scott was awaiting trial for Savinski's murder at a Rikers Island detention center reserved for female adults and adolescents after she began transitioning while in custody.
But it was May 2023 before Scott admitted to Skocpodole's murder and agreed to take part in a fruitless search for the 63-year-old's missing head.
The FBI was leading the investigation into Skocpodole's death because it took place on one of Oklahoma's native American reservations. They discovered that Scott, herself a member of the Cherokee Nation, had been fitted with an ankle monitor in July 2019 as she awaited trial for forcing a co-worker's five-year-old son to engage in oral sex.
She was renting a room in Skocdopole's home at the time and told friends that her landlord had moved to Dallas for work when Skocdopole vanished in August. Investigators later spoke to friends to reported receiving 'vague and oddly worded' emails from Skocpodole explaining his disappearance which Scott later admitted writing.
And data from Scott's ankle monitor data and bank history confirmed that she had purchased and then returned a chainsaw at a local Walmart, while further analysis of the tag led them to where the killer had disposed of some body parts.
In October she fled to Long Island where she was arrested for fleeing the child sex charges and told police he had gone there to kill herself.
Unaware at that point of Skocdopole's disappearance they took Scott to a psychiatric hospital for observation and later back to Tulsa to be charged with two counts of lewd molestation.
She had worked for a property management firm in Tulsa and in 2017 was pictured at a fashion show event in support of the Children's Abuse Network of Tulsa which raised $30,000.
But she was back in New York by Christmas 2019, staying on friends' sofas and arranging hook-ups on dating sites, the last of which was with Savinski.
In May of this year she was sentenced to 45 years by a US District judge for the Second Degree Murder in Indian Country of Skocpodole.
Details emerged today as she admitted his guilt to the second-degree murder of Savinski.
She is expected to serve at least 22 years in prison as part of a plea deal with the New York court but will be returned on release to Oklahoma to serve out her sentence there.
[GEOTV] Dozens of Palestinians were killed and scores of others injured in an Israeli attack on tents in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
A spokesperson for Gaza's Civil Defence that at least 20 tents were hit in the attack.
Hamas denies its fighters were in targeted tent camp
[IsraelTimes] The Hamas terror group claims in a statement that its operatives were not in the al-Mawasi humanitarian zone near Khan Younis when it was hit by Israeli fighter jets.
Israel says it a targeted a Hamas command and control center embedded in the tent camp, while taking multiple steps to minimize harm to civilians.
“The occupation’s allegations of the presence of resistance fighters are a blatant lie,” Hamas says in a statement on Telegram.
The group has repeatedly denied embedding within civilian populations, despite evidence to the contrary.
An official in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip says at least 40 people were killed and 60 injured in an Israeli strike on a humanitarian zone in southern Gaza where the military said Hamas was operating a command and control center.
The official says the number represents those who were found and transferred to hospitals, with civil defense officials indicating more people may be missing beneath the wreckage.
Israeli army orders another mass displacement in northwest Gaza
[NEWARAB] The Israeli military said Monday it ordered the evacuation of several neighbourhoods and towns near Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. City, warning of imminent fighting after rockets were launched from the area.
Avichay Adraee, a military front man, posted on social media platform X a map showing several areas in the Gaza Strip's northwest for its invasion, declaring them part of a "dangerous combat zone".
Israel has issued numerous evacuation orders during its war on Gaza.
No doubt this annoys the residents, but it does get them and their children out of the crossfire.
The evacuation orders have covered most of Gaza's territory, according to the UN, and include areas that the military had previously said were largely cleared of Paleostinian gangs.
Hamas, on its official Telegram channel, said the denial of 630,000 students of their right to education is a ''deliberate violation to all rights stipulated by international laws, which leaves the international community and UN agencies responsible to put an end to these crimes'', reported Al Jazeera.
Even in the Warsaw Ghetto and the post-war Cyprus internment camps the Jews provided classes for their children. It can be done, if the culture makes it a priority. Hamas has a minister of education — he should stop lolling at his ease in the deep tunnels and see to educating the kids. Maybe even add some of the 3Rs instead of spending so much time on marching with fake guns and diving through flaming hoops.
At least 19 Palestinians were reported killed as the Israeli military said it struck three senior Hamas operatives at a command room embedded within an Israeli-designated humanitarian zone in the southern Gaza Strip early Tuesday morning.
In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces said fighter jets struck “significant Hamas terrorists” who were based in the command center in Khan Younis. Palestinian media reported that the strikes took place in the al-Mawasi region on the Strip’s southern coast, west of Khan Younis.
The Hamas commanders had “advanced and deployed terror plots against IDF troops and Israeli civilians,” the military said.
They were later named by the IDF as Samer Ismail Khader Abu Daqqa, the head of Hamas’s aerial forces; Osama Tabash, the head of surveillance and targets in Hamas’s intelligence division; and Ayman Mabhouh, another senior Hamas officer.
All three were “directly involved in the October 7 massacre” and in other attacks on troops in Gaza and against Israel in recent months, the IDF said.
The military did not immediately confirm if the three were killed in the strike.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said it confirmed that at least 19 people were killed in the strike, and that the toll may rise as more bodies are recovered.
The Hamas health ministry said more than 60 others are wounded, and the death toll may rise as some victims are still under the rubble and sand.
