Balm in Hollywood, or, "I'm Peggy, and I'm an alcoholic."
Too strong and too godlike the river
For a brave little Sammon whose liver,
By thirty-four ravaged,
Was salvaged... or savaged,
Dried out or dried up. Al forgave her.
[FinanceYahoo] LLY announced that the FDA has expanded the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for its cocktail antibody medicine, bamlanivimab plus etesevimab to include the post-exposure prevention (prophylaxis) for COVID-19 indication.
This means the cocktail medicine can now be used (on an emergency basis) to treat certain people who have been exposed to the virus or who are at high risk of exposure in an institutional setting, including a nursing home or prison.. Another in the expanding set of treatments. There are several others. This is one reason why some places with thousands of new cases have only a few fatalities.

Eli Lilly was in command of an artillery battery (Union) at the battle of Mossey Creek, now Jefferson City, in Jefferson County, Tennessee in December of 1863. He was nearly captured by Confederates commanded by General James Longstreet but managed t extricate his battery and all his men.

If you need to use Ivermectin and can't get access except in veterinary (horse medicine) form, please do make sure you learn and use the appropriate dosing - you are not a horse and horse dosing will hurt you.
All Middle Eastern, Asian, North African, Latin American, and Caribbean refugees should receive presumptive therapy with:
Albendazole, single dose of 400 mg (200 mg for children 12-23 months)
AND
Ivermectin, two doses 200 mcg/Kg orally once a day for 2 days before departure to the United States.
that is for a 100Kg person, they would take 20 milligrams = 20,000 mcg, twice a day for two days

Most of the veterinary ivermectin I've seen is paste form, comes in a big syringe. Sort of like white peanut butter. You stick the tube in the corner of the horse's mouth and squirt it in. It's hard for them to spit out. Pilling a horse can be a nightmare.

[American Greatness] A total of 43 people were shot over the weekend in Chicago; 37 people were injured, and six people died of their injuries, as reported by ABC News.
Between 6:30 PM on Friday and Noon on Sunday, the Chicago Police Department had responded to 35 different calls of shootings across the city. The incidents range from mass shootings to individual shootings, as well as planned attacks and apparently random outbursts.
In the early morning hours on Sunday, a group of people were standing on the sidewalk in the Austin neighborhood when a silver sedan pulled up. Two gunmen got out and suddenly began opening fire, injuring five people between the ages of 18 and 47; although there were no fatalities in this incident, all of the victims were listed as being in serious condition at the hospital.
In a separate incident that same morning, a 27-year-old tow-truck driver who was providing assistance to a customer in the Englewood neighborhood was shot and killed suddenly when a gunman walked up to him and fired several times at close range.
No arrests have yet been made in either of these cases, nor in most of the other shootings over the course of the weekend.
Among the injured are a 3-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl. The boy was hit when shots were fired directly into his home in Calumet Heights on Saturday evening; after being taken to a hospital, the boy was listed in good condition. In the West Englewood neighborhood that same night, the girl was shot, along with a 20-year-old woman, while they were standing on a street and apparently shot from a distance.
Overall, over 2,490 people have been shot in Chicago in the year 2021, which marks a 9 percent increase from the amount of people shot over the first nine months of 2020. There have currently been 558 recorded homicides in the city this year, with most of them being due to shootings, also a 3 percent increase from 2020. Of the shooting victims this year, over 250 of them have been children.

HeyJackass.com uses a slightly different time period to count Chicago shootings, but they report 10 people dead (including one police shooting) and 54 wounded.
Story harvested from a comment posted today by our very own Unort Hupung.
[American Greatness] he United States should be at its pinnacle of strength. It still produces more goods and services than any other nation—China included, which has a population over four times as large. Its fuel and food industries are globally preeminent, as are its graduate science, computer, engineering, medical, and technology university programs. Its constitution is the oldest of current free nations. And the U.S. military is by far the best funded in the world. And yet something has gone terribly wrong within America, from the southern border to Afghanistan.
The inexplicable in Afghanistan—surrendering Bagram Air Base in the middle of the night, abandoning tens of billions of dollars of military equipment to the Taliban, and forsaking both trapped Americans and loyalist Afghans—has now become the new Biden model of inattention and incompetence.
Or to put it another way, when we seek to implant our culture abroad, do we instead come to emulate what we are trying to change?
COVID CHAOS
Take COVID-19. Joe Biden in 2020 (along with Kamala Harris) trashed Trump’s impending Operation Warp Speed vaccinations. Then, after inauguration, Biden falsely claimed no one had been vaccinated until his ascension (in fact, 1million a day were being vaccinated before he assumed office). Then again, Biden claimed ad nauseam that he didn’t believe in mandates to force the new and largely experimental vaccinations on the public. Then, once more, he promised that they were so effective and so many Americans had received vaccines that by July 4 the country would return to a virtual pre-COVID normality.
Then came the delta variant and his self-created disaster in Afghanistan.
To divert his attention away from the Afghan morass, Biden weirdly focused on an equally confused new presidential COVID-19 mandate, seeking to subject federal employees, soldiers, and employees of larger firms to mandatory vaccinations—right as the contagious delta variant seemed to be slowly tapering off, given the millions who have either been vaxxed, have developed natural immunity, or both.
[Politico] Beijing is denouncing the U.S. government’s new "AUKUS" technology-sharing working group with the U.K. and Australia as a threat to peace in the Indo-Pacific region.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian on Thursday slammed the grouping as a reflection of "outdated Cold War zero-sum mentality and narrow-minded geopolitical perception" that "intensified" a regional arms race and harmed international non-proliferation efforts. "How dare you defend yourselves, hegemonic running dogs!"
That rhetoric — including Zhao’s reference to "cliques" designed to target "third party" countries — reflects the Chinese government’s recognition that the U.S. has been able to rally allies in the Indo-Pacific to counter Beijing’s increasingly aggressive moves in the region. The AUKUS deal makes no explicit reference to China, but two U.S. officials noted that the subtext of the announcement is that this is another move by Western allies to push back on China’s rise in the military and technology arenas. But White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Thursday responded to questions about the AUKUS agreement’s focus on China by insisting that it "is not about any one country," adding that "we do not seek conflict [with China]."
Zhao hinted that the Chinese government may accuse Australia of violating its commitment under the Treaty of Rarotonga, which includes prohibitions on the production, possession or acquisition of nuclear weapons.
That tactic would ignore or misconstrue the fact that the AUKUS deal includes equipping Australia with technology for nuclear propulsion, not nuclear weapons. Both President Joe Biden and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison emphasized that Australia doesn’t seek a nuclear weapon. The three countries will undertake discussions over the next 18 months to figure out how best to deliver the technology, which the U.S. traditionally has only shared with the U.K.
[Guns America] Over 40 million guns were sold in 2020. Of those, five million were likely purchased by first-time gun buyers, according to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the firearms industry trade association.
Stands to reason that millions of people are looking for a place to safely store their newly purchased hardware. Because as the Peter Parker principle remains us, "With great power, there must also come great responsibility" or as comedians Key and Peele say, "With great power comes great responsitrilitrance."
Put bluntly, it is one’s duty as a responsible gun owner to properly secure his or her firearms.
Obviously, there are plenty of options out there, everything from trigger locks to gun cases to strong boxes and cabinets to, of course, gun safes. One’s preferences, needs, and homelife will ultimately dictate which route one pursues.
For me, I recently decided it was time for a major upgrade. Enter Steelhead Outdoors, the Minnesota-based manufacturer of the Nomad series of modular, easy-to-assemble, AND disassemble, gun safes.

[NYPost] Some anti-vaxxers have proclaimed themselves "Purebloods" in a campaign of biological supremacy against those who received the COVID-19 vaccine.
"From now on, I refuse to be referred to as ’unvaccinated,’" said conservative influencer Lyndsey Marie in a post last week. "I want everyone to now call me Pureblood."
Her hashtags included #harrypotter, #pureblood and #unvaccinated.
Marie is most likely referring to a term more recently popularized by the "Harry Potter" series, which saw wizards and warlocks with the most magical progeny assigned as "purebloods" or "half-bloods" — as opposed to "muggles," mere humans who practice magic.
Remember the olden days when there were these things called “jokes” that people didn’t take seriously?

"muggles," mere humans who practice magic.
Muggles didn't practice magic, muggles had no magic. Mudbloods were Muggles that developed magical powers. How hard is it to check this kind of thing, I though newsrooms were full of 20-somethings?
Slightly off topic, I have started hearing the "If you have been vaccinated, or are thinking about it, please tell your doctor." bits on those medication commercials.
Which means nothing in and of itself, other than it was a subject many were wondering if/when it would show up.
BLUF:
[AFF] The lawyer, Michael Sussmann, is a partner at Perkins Coie, which has represented the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee and which reportedly hired Fusion GPS, the firm responsible for compiling the Steele dossier.
The Washington Examiner’s editorial board provides more context for why this means more than it appears to mean:
Sussmann, who had worked with the FBI during its investigation into the Russian hack of DNC servers, told the FBI he had information showing a link between Trump and a Russian bank. During the meeting, Sussmann insisted to the FBI that he was turning the information over simply as a concerned citizen and that he was not working on behalf of any client. He further claimed that cybersecurity experts had approached him about a possible link between Trump and a Russian bank, but he never mentioned the true source of the data, Tech Executive-1.
This was a monstrous lie, and now, it has been exposed. Sussmann had been billing Hillary Clinton’s campaign for his collusion with Tech Executive-1 the whole time. That is, he was working for her. If the FBI had known that Sussmann approached it on behalf of the Clinton campaign merely so he could dish dirt on her political rival, it might never have opened an investigation. But since Sussmann lied about his motives and an investigation was opened.
[Seth] Rich’s laptop is also mentioned in these new files as having been collected on May 19 by the FBI from law firm Perkins Coie. It is unclear why counsel for Hillary Clinton and the DNC would have had it.
Emphasis added.

What a disgusting crew.
This is truly a low point in our history. I can't think of a time--since the 1850s at least-- that we have endured such a string of incompetent, malicious grifters occupying our highest offices.
Looks like America's run of good luck has come to an end. Dark times are here

It does appear like the internal warfare inside the ruling democrat factions is reaching a total war stage, and there is a hint that the Cackle-Jackal is aligned with the Clinton faction against the Obama/ValJar/Rice puppeteers at the White House, with Jill and Klain trying to just keep the ruse going day to day, with grand scheme after grand scheme to soak up all the special interest money they can from every source, foreign and domestic. This ought to give great comfort to the chance for a widespread flushing of the sewers that are the Washington Establishment/Federal government, but the voter fraud expertise on display in California coupled with the MSM and utterly clueless voting block that is fed by the Tech Propaganda system give me great concern.
[10 News] The Senate's nonpartisan parliamentarian says Democrats can’t use their $3.5 trillion package bolstering social and climate programs to give millions of immigrants a chance to become citizens.
The decision by the parliamentarian, Elizabeth MacDonough, deals a blow to what was Democrats' clearest pathway in years to attaining that long-sought goal.
And it's a disheartening setback for President Joe Biden, congressional Democrats and their allies in the pro-immigration and progressive communities.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says Senate Democrats are disappointed with the decision but have prepared alternate proposals.
U.S. Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin, Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and U.S. Senator Alex Padilla, Chair of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship, and Border Safety, today released the following statement regarding the Parliamentarian’s ruling on a pathway to legal status via reconciliation:
"We are deeply disappointed in the Parliamentarian’s decision, but the fight for immigration reform will continue. Senate Democrats have prepared alternative proposals for the Parliamentarian’s consideration in the coming days."

Updated with a description of the gunfire exchanged between the traffic police officer, the type and gage of the shotgun used, and the age and family name of the shooter: Bekmansurov.
A local news website shows a video showing some of the shootings.
Including an additional report by regum.ru on the failure of the local emergency system.
Added additional information about the start of the shooting.
Additional information about the gunfire exchange between the intervening police officer and the shooter.
MOSCOW, September 20. /TASS/. Six people were killed and 24 people were injured in a shooting at the Perm State University, press service of the Russian Ministry of Health told reporters on Monday.
"According to the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine, as of 1127 hrs Moscow time, eight people died in the incident at the Perm State University, 24 people were injured and are being treated, 19 of them have gunshot wounds," the report said.
The press service clarified that 25 medical teams are working at the site.
According to the Russian Investigative Committee, on September 20, a student opened fire on the territory of the Perm State University. The shooter was detained, his identity has been established.
Russia’s Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko and Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov flew to the scene.
Additional information from my VKontakte page:
Two armed guards were at the entrance to the university. One was shot and killed by the shooter.
Russian traffic police officer Jr. Lt Konstatin Kalinin rushed to the scene with a partner. At first, he helped with the evacuation of students.
After speaking with some students, Kalinin went to find the shooter. He called on the shooter to stop, but instead the shooter fired on Kalinin. Kalinin returned fire, hitting the shooter four times.
Video released on Vkontakte show that the gunfire exchange between Kalinin and the shooter took place inside a university building.
The shooter is identified as Timur Bekmansurov, 18, no patronymic.
Reports say Bekmansurov was carrying a shotgun, possibly a pump action 12 gage. Remote camera photos show the shooter sporting a tactical helmet. Kalinin was armed with a 9mm Makarov pistol.
Reports now say Bekmansurov bought a gun legally, incorrectly identified as a rifle, in May of 2021. It is possible both reports are correct, but the type of gun used in the shootings was a 12 gage shotgun, confirmed through videos of the crime scene.
Local 59.ru news website reports on the motivation of Bekmansurov. The incident was characterized as definitely not an act of terror.
The website also features a video showing several acts of murder.
According to a report by regnum.ru, the university had an emergency system that did not work, because no one was at the phones when calls came in.
A social media post of shows Bekmansurov mugging for the camera with what appears to be a pump action 12 gage shotgun, a tactical vest loaded with shotgun shells and a tactical helmet.

According to one of the Donbass militia VKontakte pages I follow, VKontakte is doing its best Facebook impression by removing posts, photos and videos related to the shooting.
The perpetrator, who was an 18-year-old student at the university, used a "traumatic" firearm, according to the Perm State University press service. Such guns are designed to fire non-lethal rubber or plastic projectiles, but can be modified to fire other ammunition.
The student had earlier posted a social media photo of himself posing with a rifle, helmet and ammunition.
"I've thought about this for a long time, it's been years and I realized the time had come to do what I dreamt of," he said on a social media account attributed to him that was later taken down.
He indicated his actions had nothing to do with politics or religion but were motivated by hatred.
The link also has a four minute news video on the story in English.
[American Spectator] In a just world, if the reporting of Bob Woodward and Robert Costa in their new book Peril is accurate, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley would be sharpening his ceremonial sword and planning seppuku. Woodward and Costa have reported that Milley circumvented the chain of command and made unauthorized calls to CCP Gen. Li Zuocheng.
If Woodward and Costa got the story wrong, however, they should be the ones sharpening their swords. Although more reliable than most in Big Media, Woodward has reported many stories of questionable accuracy over the years. There was the dubious "potted plant" signal for the equally dubious "Deep Throat," the imaginative deathbed confession of CIA Director William Casey, and the misinterpreted "slam dunk" quote by former CIA Director George Tenet among others.
More troubling than what Woodward may have misreported is what he did not report at all. Like so many of his colleagues, he has repeatedly betrayed the American public by ignoring stories of major consequence. As it happens, his single greatest oversight involves China, specifically its role in the 1996 presidential election.
Woodward was not lacking opportunity. He wrote a book about the 1996 election, The Choice, and had better access to key players than any reporter in Washington. Yet somehow he failed to mention that Chinese interests bought and paid for President Bill Clinton’s victory over Bob Dole. To miss the most striking feature of a campaign he covered in depth suggests not incompetence on Woodward’s part, but complicity.
There was a lot to miss. In the way of background, the Democrats got drubbed in the 1994 mid-terms and blamed Clinton for the losses. The media were as dismayed as the Democrats. Historians tracing the date of their shift from a tolerable bias to an intolerable corruption should look to this election and the two years that followed. Few reporters wanted to give the scary new House Speaker Newt Gingrich a Republican president, and many did what they had to do to prevent it. Woodward was among them.
With an approval rating at a dangerously low 45 percent, Clinton was looking at a one-term presidency. If he were to have any chance in 1996, he would have to raise money, lots of it. With the financially strapped DNC hesitant to pony up, he and Hillary promptly headed to the one place that welcomed his business, the Riady crime family HQ in Indonesia.
The ethnically Chinese Riadys, Mochtar and son James, had started investing in Clinton while he was still governor of Arkansas. More than once they bailed him out during the 1992 campaign and not just for the sport of it. In 1994, Clinton paid his Chinese loan sharks some of their vig by getting their "man in America," John Huang, a job in the Commerce Department. In May of that same year, Clinton paid more of it by "delinking" human rights from the renewal of China’s most favored nation status.

[IsraelTimes] Suspects charged with aggravated terrorist assault for attack that included blocking vehicle carrying maimed officer who had been shot, in move designed to ’worsen his condition’.
Two men have been charged for an attack in which they allegedly hurled stones and fired fireworks at coppers, as well as blocking an ambulance in the northern town Umm al-Fahm during ethnic unrest that rocked the country in May, the police announced Sunday.
The suspects, aged 18 and 20, both residents of the Arab city, participated in a violent mostly peaceful demonstration near the entrance of the city on May 11, Israel Police said in a statement. During the protest, the men also allegedly help set fire to a electric pole that supported a security camera.
The next night, an ambulance carrying a maimed police officer who was shot during violent mostly peacefulfestivities near the city’s entrance was attacked by a number of rioters including the two suspects, police said.
Police said the rioters blocked the ambulance, threw stones at it, broke its windows and tried to force open the door.
"This was in order to prevent the treatment of the maimed police officer and worsen his condition due to an ideological nationalist motive," police charged.
The ambulance then turned back to the local Magen David Adom emergency services station, where the maimed officer was transferred to a police car that took him to another ambulance that was waiting outside of the city.
The two accused men are also suspected of opening fire with a makeshift Carlo-style submachine gun near a community center in Umm al-Fahm, police said. It was not clear when this separate incident took place.
Police said the two men were arrested in August and the indictment was filed on Friday, but the details of the investigation were released for publication only on Sunday.
The indictment charged the two with aggravated terrorist assault, attempted assault of a public worker, rioting, abetting arson, intentional sabotage of a vehicle and weapons offenses, among other charges.
The violence in Arab locales and ethnically mixed cities of Israel, which erupted as the Israel Defense Forces and Paleostinian terror groups engaged in 11 days of intense fighting in the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. [Rudaw] A Peshmerga official on Saturday said Kurdish and Iraqi security forces have made good progress in their collective efforts to counter Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS) murderous Moslems, forming joint operation centers in disputed areas, but the establishment of a joint brigade will be delayed until after the election. Their combined efforts raise hopes of putting an end to the activities of the murderous Moslem group in Iraq.
The brigades would have been formed by now "if it wasn’t for this year’s October 10 elections," Deputy Peshmerga Minister Sarbast Lazgin said in a presser.
Iraq will hold parliamentary elections on October 10.
Joint operation centers in Khanaqin, Kirkuk, ... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time... Makhmour, and western Nineveh have been formed and security and military cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad is headed down a good path, Lazgin added.
[NationalReview] On the menu today: The Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... are methodically collecting as much information about the Afghan population as possible, looking for anyone who has, in their eyes, been tainted or corrupted by Western influences or values. Hiding Afghan allies of the U.S. are now wondering if it is worth it to try making the dangerous journey to sneak into Pakistain — although that option offers a separate plethora of deadly risks.
Americans who are trying to get Afghan allies out of the country continue to hear horrific stories from those they’re trying to rescue. These stories are difficult to verify, but bit by bit, similar accounts from different sources start to align.

U.S. troops is attacked by drone
Published Tue, Jul 6 2021
The U.S. military confirmed a Tuesday evening drone attack in northern Iraq, near a base that houses American troops.
[Western Journal] According to Fox News host Mark Levin, the Democrats are going to keep supporting Joint Chiefs of Staff head Gen. Mark Milley because they don’t want any backlash for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
In an appearance on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show Friday night, Levin said Pelosi played "a key role in" undermining civilian control of the military under former President Donald Trump via a call she made to Milley in the days after the Capitol incursion.
While the details of the call were disclosed for the first time in excerpts from Bob Woodward and Robert Costa’s forthcoming book "Peril," Pelosi had announced the conversation shortly after it happened on Jan. 8, saying in a letter to House Democrats she’d discussed "precautions for preventing an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or accessing the launch codes and ordering a nuclear strike."
CNN reported Woodward and Costa obtained a transcript of the call.
"What I’m saying to you is that if they couldn’t even stop him from an assault on the Capitol, who even knows what else he may do?" Pelosi, who is second in line for the presidency behind Vice President Kamala Harris, said during the call, according to the book. "And is there anybody in charge at the White House who was doing anything but kissing his fat butt all over this?

tell me why things are still going the way they are
Because Republicans are the draped crape paper ribbons on the Democratic agenda podium.
[Western Journal] A new report contradicts key points of the Biden administration’s narrative concerning an Aug. 29 drone strike that U.S. officials allegedly thought killed terrorists, but appears to have killed only innocent civilians.
An investigation conducted by The New York Times indicates that what President Joe Biden’s commanders thought was a man loading bombs into a car was instead Zemari Ahmadi putting canisters of water into his vehicle. Ahmadi was among the 10 people killed in the strike, including seven children.
According to The Washington Post, experts looking at photographic evidence believe military planners drew the wrong conclusions that day.
U.S. Central Command initially said in an Aug. 29 statement, "We are confident we successfully hit the target. Significant secondary explosions from the vehicle indicated the presence of a substantial amount of explosive material."
Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, later called the attack "a righteous strike."

What I see is:
While they were having a Evacuation Clint Eastwood Cluster F___ moment. They badly needed Media Deflection, went with a Terrorist Drone Strike and got the needed deflection.
Right or Wrong
Their Drone strike has in fact deflected the main attention away from, what we are hearing could be 500+ American citizens left behind.
POLITICAL REASONING
Which is the American voter more likely to forgiven and forget come election?
5,000 American left behind?
Or a mistaken target Terrorist Drone strike ?

An investigation conducted by The New York Times indicates that what President Joe Biden’s commanders thought was a man loading bombs into a car was instead Zemari Ahmadi putting canisters of water into his vehicle.
[WND] Former President Donald Trump theorized this week that alleged traitor Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is being protected by the Biden administration because he knows too much about last month's disaster in Afghanistan.
Milley allegedly twice called a high-ranking Chinese military official during Trump’s final months in office to warn him about Trump’s alleged mental state. That’s a claim being published in a new book called "Peril" from Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Robert Costa.
Trump shredded Milley in a statement released earlier this week over the claim. On Wednesday, he floated the possibility that Milley only has a job at this point because he knows too much about President Joe Biden’s chaotic and deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan.

ChiComs almost certainly are blackmailing Hunter Biden's dad.
Remember that Hunter & The Big Guy were up to their eyeballs in baksheesh via their Chinese military front-company partner. And of course the Chinese have all the disgusting, twisted and incriminating videos, emails and texts from Hunter Biden's laptop.
The Bidens are walking national security risks. Easy pickings for the Chinese.

[SHAFAQ] An explosion targeted a civilian vehicle without causing casualties in the northeast of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
A source told Shafaq News Agency that the sticky bomb was placed on a civilian vehicle in the Tojjar (Merchants) street in al-Shaab area, northeast Baghdad.
The explosion did not cause any casualties, according to the source.
"A security force cordoned to the site and started an investigation into the circumstances of the incident," the source said.

[GREATERKASHMIR] Director General of Police Dilbag Singh Saturday visited Kulgam in south Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... and Handwara, and Kupwara in north Kashmir and called for intensifying operations against the bully boys.Chairing the security review meetings at Kulgam and Kupwara, the DGP directed the officers to keep a strict watch on the suspicious elements and Over Ground Workers (OGWs) who are providing any kind of support to violent mostly peaceful activities.
He directed the officers to revisit the security plans "as the bandidosgunnies in order to create disturbance were looking for soft targets and stressed for counter strategies and preventive measures".
The DGP emphasised upon the officers to remain extra alert and ordered a series of counter measures to prevent unfortunate incidents like the killing of the Railways Protection Force (RPF) cop and a non-local labourer.
Singh said that protecting the lives of the people was the prime concern of the Police and every attempt of the anti-national elements to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere in J&K would be dealt with firmly.
He directed the officers to intensify the "operations against bandidosgunnies and terror support network" and said, "The bandidosgunnies involved in yesterday's killings should be brought to justice very soon."
The DGP directed the officers to augment the security of vulnerable targets and places.
He emphasised for putting in use the latest technology in monitoring the movement of suspicious elements.
Singh reiterated the importance of maintaining close synergy between the J&K Police and other agencies to meet the security challenges in J&K.
He said that the killing of infiltrators in the recent past at various border areas was an indicator that Pakistain and its agencies were making continuous attempts to disturb peace and stressed upon the offices to maintain alertness on the borders and the hinterland to check the movement of anti-peace elements.
He also led officers and relatives in paying floral tributes to Bantu Sharma at Kulgam and in the afternoon visited the family of SI Arshid Ahmad Mir at Handwara.
He was accompanied by IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, DIG South Kashmir Range Abdul Jabbar, DIG North Kashmir Range Sujit Kumar and other senior officers.

[AMERICANTHINKER] The Center for Immigration Studies, sent a senior researcher named Todd Bensman ask those questions on the ground, going to the immigrants colonists themselves, and he came up with a doozy of an answer:The surprising answer, which the migrants colonists provided independently in different places and at different times, was universal: on Sunday, September 12, the Mexican government effectively sent a mass of migrants colonists it had bottled up for months in its southern states up to the American border. This move, which appears to have been done under the cover of Mexico's independence week of celebration known as El Grito, essentially foisted a humanitarian problem onto the Americans in a single week.
Mexico was the one who did it. Turns out Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass. Don't say he didn't warn us... promised them some things and based on the available information, apparently never delivered. Mexico's response to that was comparable to that of the underpaid wedding photographer who deleted a camera full of wedding photos after the callous client denied her a bathroom or meal break after a multi-hour shift. They had been penning up thousands of illegal Haitian migrants colonists on their southern border in the town of Tapachula from entering the U.S. and opened the floodgates, all to teach Joe Biden a lesson about messing with them.
So much for Joe Biden vaunted 'diplomacy is back' claim -- he can't even manage the U.S. Diplomacy 101 task of managing relations with our nearest neighbor, Mexico. Biden had been touted in the press for his supposed foreign policy expertise but he's beyond incompetent of this, managing to severely alienate both La Belle France and Mexico, and sure enough, Mexico has already bit back.
As for why they all chose to head for Del Rio, Bensman found the answer to that, too - migrants colonists were told that cartels did not hold sway over that crossing as they did at other illegal crossings, and so, migrants colonists could get across without paying 'fees' to the cartels for the privilege of entering the U.S. illegally. And it certainly helped matters for them that Joe Biden halted the border wall.

[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] The US-led International Coalition against ISIS in Iraq and Syria has renewed its support for Iraq as US forces begin their gradual withdrawal from the Levantine country. For what that's worth.
The fourth round of meetings of the Joint Technical Committee between Iraq and the US had kicked off in Baghdad on Friday with the Joint Operations Command of the Iraqi Army saying that a security agreement had been signed to reduce the combat units and military forces in each of the two bases of Ain al-Assad in western Iraq’s Anbar province, and Harir in the Kurdistan region near Erbil.
Meanwhile, ...back at the wreckage, Captain Poindexter wished he had a cup of coffee. Even instant would do... the Coalition said Saturday it carried out raids targeting sites of the terrorist organization on the outskirts of Kifri district in the Sulaymaniyah province in northern Iraq.
"Coalition warplanes carried out three air strikes targeting terrorist hideouts in the Koh mountain range near Nogol district in Kifri district," according to a security source who requested anonymity.
"French warplanes bombed a location where the gunnies were hiding, near the village of Qalan, according to intelligence information," said the source.
Earlier Saturday, the Iraqi Ministry of Defense said in a statement that security forces had arrested an ISIS member in the al-Mushahdah district, north of the capital Baghdad.
In a Twitter post, military front man, Col. Wayne Marotto, said the Coalition is committed to supporting both the Iraqi security forces and the Kurdish Peshmerga forces in their fight against ISIS and to ensure that the group "never resurges."
It is noteworthy that the Coalition’s stand in solidarity with Iraq comes at a time that ISIS is waging several operations in different parts of the country, even in areas near the capital, Baghdad.
While the Iraqi government had concluded a truce with Iran-aligned armed factions to ensure they no longer target US troops in Iraq, the most important development remains Baghdad’s agreement with Washington to cut back the number of forces in Ain al-Assad in western Iraq’s Anbar province, and Harir in the Kurdistan region near Erbil.

The United Arab Emirates has named six Nigerians who are alleged to be financing turban group Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... , as well as other criminal activities in Nigeria. The list includes Abdurrahaman Ado Musa, Salihu Yusuf Adamu, Bashir Ali Yusuf, Muhammed Ibrahim Isa, Ibrahim Ali Alhassan and Surajo Abubakar Muhammad.
The decision came about a year after the six were indicted for sponsoring Boko Haram. The accused were said to have transferred up to U.S.$800,000 to the Death Eaters between 2015 and 2016. A court had found them guilty of setting up a Boko Haram cell in the UAE to raise funds and material assistance for them.
A Nigerian government official who was allegedly said to be involved in the sponsorship of the Death Eaters that has killed over 100,000 civilians and security forces and inflicted untold economic damage on the country since its campaign began in 2009. The government official, it was gathered was yet to be publicly identified by the UAE authorities, amidst alleged diplomatic pressure not to publish the name.

The moral justification for the Talib return to power is that they would restore order and safety. It looks like they’re already failing.
[ToloNews] A businessman, Zainulabuddin, who was kidnapped seventeen days ago in Kabul, has been killed, his family said on Sunday.
The family said a group of gunnies took him from his workplace, claiming to be on official business for the directorate of national security working on an investigation. Later they demanded money.
The merchant’s body was found behind the Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul two nights ago.
Hamid, son of Zainulabuddin, said: "Five gunnies wearing military uniforms took my father from our office in the Quwai Markaz area. They said they were from national security. Then, we received a phone call asking for a great amount of money."
Meanwhile, ...back at the dirigible, the pilot and the copilot had both hit the silk.
Jack! Cynthia exclaimed. Do you know how to drive one of these things?
Jack wiped some of the blood from his knuckles.
No, he said. Do you?... the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries officials said that such incidents will obstruct business in the country.
Mohammad Younus Mohmand told TOLOnews: "We talked with security officials. They assured us that they will take the people behind the incident to the courts."
Kabul residents expressed worry over kidnapping cases and robberies in Kabul.
Armed men stole 700,000 Afs four days ago from a shop in Chahar Qala area, shopkeeper Habiburahman said.
Habib said: " They forced me to open a safe of money and then tgey took all of it. They were four people. One was standing outside."
Kabul residents urged the caretaker government to provide security in Kabul, where several robberies have happened in the last few days.
[Garowe] At least five people were maimed on Sunday following a kaboom at Bulo Burte airstrip in the Hiraan region, in the latest al-Shabaab ...... Somalia's version of the Taliban ...Arabic for students... , functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda... attack within Somalia as the country struggles with political crisis, which could potentially split the country.
Reports indicate that the blast, which has since been owned by al-Shabaab holy warriors, destroyed a section of the airstrip, further raising questions about the security of the country, which is struggling with instability.
Area MP Mohamud Benebenne confirmed the incident noting it was the second time the holy warrior group had attacked the new departure and arrival terminal recently built in EU funded project.
Pictures shared by the MP show a destroyed building that was used as a waiting bay for passengers.
The federal MP condemned the attack terming it an afront to progress in the region. He called for more security at the airport and the construction of permanent facilities.
According to authorities, soldiers were among the people injured in a kaboom inside Buoloburte airport, which also caused severe damage to parts of the airport's office building. Those maimed in the attack were taken to the nearby hospital.
Buloburte district commissioner Ahmed Mahad Nur told VOA's Somali service that al-Shabaab was behind the bombings at Buloburte airport, which houses Djiboutian forces under AMISOM.
He said al-Shabaab had sneaked into the airport, then detonated the bomb at the airport's generator section. The Death Eaters control areas in the Middle and Lower Shabelle regions, where they are battling Somali and AU troops.
This is the second time such an attack has been carried out on the airport, one of the most functioning airports in the Hiiraan region. It was not immediately clear who the Death Eaters were targeting but it's their norm to target innocent civilians across the Horn of Africa.
Trying to take advantage of the opportunity their actions created.
[EpochTimes] The Biden administration, the same old faces in slightly different places, the same old ideas, the same old graft ...the pack of self-imagined masterminds of strategy and intrigue at the service of the Biden Crime Family and a grateful nation... has issued a warning that the pending federal debt crisis might trigger an economic recession that would affect economic growth and trigger job losses across the United States.
"Hitting the debt ceiling could cause a recession. Economic growth would falter, unemployment would rise, and the labor market could lose millions of jobs," the White House said in a letter (pdf) to state and local governments that was released Sept. 17.
Arguing that Congress needs to raise or suspend the U.S. debt ceiling, the administration said the debt crisis may affect the country’s recovery after the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic. In July, Congress missed its deadline to suspend or raise the debt limit, prompting several recent warnings from Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen that her agency will exhaust its cash reserves.
"The U.S. economy has just begun to recover from the pandemic and a manufactured debt ceiling crisis would threaten the gains we’ve made and the future recovery," the White House said.
If the United States defaults for the first time in its history should Congress not act, a number of federally funded programs could be stopped, the White House letter continued to say. That includes Medicaid, infrastructure funding, and disaster relief efforts.
"If the U.S. defaults on its obligations, the ripple effects will hurt cities and states across the country," the letter added, further saying that the S&P 500 could plunge due to a prolonged standoff.
The warning comes after Congress approved trillions of dollars in spending and relief packages in recent months, while Democrats are currently pushing a $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation bill designed to provide funding for a variety of new programs targeting social welfare, the climate, and some infrastructure projects. Because trillions of dollars have been injected into the economy, some have expressed concern that the measures are triggering a rise in inflation, which has rattled markets in recent weeks, although the Federal Reserve has said it believes the inflation spike is transitory.
Yellen recently spoke with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to try to get Republican senators on board with the debt limit increase. The GOP leader told media outlets, however, that he doesn’t believe any Republicans would vote to raise the debt limit.
"I can’t imagine a single Republican in this environment that we’re in now—this free-for-all for taxes and spending—to vote to raise the debt limit," McConnell told Punchbowl News.
Boom! Mic drop.
But some Biden administration officials have said they’re optimistic that Congress will take action in the coming weeks to avoid a crisis.
[GREATERKASHMIR] At least six persons were maimed, three of them critically, after two communities clashed in Lolab area of north Kashmir's ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. They said that the scuffle took place after cattle strayed into a cannabis cultivation farm. [chew chew] "Hmm! Pretty tasty stuff!" [chew chew chew chew]
Quoting the family members, news agency GNS reported that the incident took place in Forest Compartment number 40/41 in Nagmari Bomach between two rival communities belonging to Dardpora and Divar Dilbagh Kakkarpati areas. "MY CROP! Yer stupid cow's eating my bhang crop!"
Talking to news agency GNS, Mohammad Maqbool Chakbari alleged that the Divar Dilbagh Kakkarpati residents attacked his community members after several of their cattle strayed into bhang cultivation belonging to the former. "Those cows're higher'n a herd o' kites! What flavor of milk you think they're gonna give?"
"They (Divar Dilbagh Kakkarpati group) attacked us and injured our six persons", Chakbari said, adding that three of the injured have been referred to District Hospital Baramulla in a critical condition. "Conked him on the nut with a shillelagh, did he? Faith and begorrah! I thought that only happened in Ireland?"
He identified the injured as Mohammad Yousaf Awan, Mushtaq Ahmad Chugta, Mohammad Maqbool Chugta, Gudi Begum, wife of Riyaz Ahmad, Zainab Noor wife of Shah Jahan and Shakeela Begum wife of Bashir Ahmad Shiekh. Abdul Hamid Chugta told GNS that they have lodged a complaint at Police Station Lalpora. "That's right, officer! Their cows ate all our weed and then they attacked us!"
"The cows did?"
"No! Their owners!"
A police official told GNS that investigation into the incident is going on. "We'll have to wait until the cows get over their munchies though."
"Say! Try some o' this milk! Verrry tasty!... Like, wow man! Listen to the colors!"
The incident has given fresh impetus to the demand by locals, seeking stringent and fool-proof action against the bhang cultivators in the area, who according to them have encroached upon large patches of forest land. "And get our cows outta them trees! And tell that policeman to put his clothes back on!"

The Union Minister arrived in Kashmir for a two-day visit as a part of outreach programme going on for over a week now. He also met BJP functionaries this evening. "There are some elements, who do not want that there should be peace in Kashmir," he said adding that even common citizens did not want such incidents to happen in Kashmir. "However, a clean conscience makes a soft pillow... efforts are being made to create such atmosphere and fear among the common masses," Dr Singh said.
"Reality is that terror and snuffies are now in their last phase and they want to revisit this way and are thus, targetting, common citizens," he added. On the visit of the Parliamentary delegation to Jammu and Kashmir, the Union Minister said that some projects were stalled in Kashmir for the last few years, they gained momentum due to these visits and those works were also being reviewed.

...Recep Bey, may the fleas of a thousand camels infest his armpits, has figured out that we were serious about not giving him any new toys unless he got rid of the S-400s. One can reasonably assume that he was going to get a cut of whatever 'official' spending Turkey was going to do on the F-35 so he's losing that income stream, and I have no doubt that certain gentlemen with Russian accents are making it clear that he made a deal to buy another batch of -400s...and you need to keep your promises, Recep Bey.
So - let me make a suggestion.
A quiet meeting in Istanbul (not Constantinople) to arrange for a series of C-17 flights between the US and Turkey. When the C-17s land, they will load up a complete set of S-400 launchers, radars, tech orders, and missiles. They will fly back here, then return to Turkey with a complete set of PATRIOT launchers, radars, and missiles. We'll trade them one for one, and when the last of the S-400 gear has gone, we can talk about the F-35.
On the understanding, of course, that if we even think that you're letting unauthorized personnel get access to the PATRIOTS, we land on you with both feet.

President Biden, back when he still had working memory, loathed Mr. Erdogan, who has been doing his very best to revive the Ottoman empire while eradicating competing domestic power centers like the Turkish army and the Gulenists, many of whom still sit in Turkish prisons, their wealth confiscated as booty. On the foreign front he’s been doing his bit to expand Turkish power and influence, too, including killing off the Kurds at home, in Iraq, and in Syria; confiscating Gulenist schools and businesses around the world; and moving Turkic paramilitaries from Syria to fronts in Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh, for which the local clients get to pay Turkey in gold. Not to mention continued Turkish agitation against Greece, Cypress, and Israel.
Why on earth should we extend a helping hand to lift Turkey out of the deep hole they’ve dug for themselves using shovels of bile, hate, and greed?

OK. Being a Yankee, I speak under correction, but can some one of our Texas cousins explain to me the difference between a "pimp gun" and a "barbeque gun"... other than who owns it?
#6
OK, Mercutio, it's a matter of application.
'Pimp guns' and 'barbeque guns' are supposed to be seen and shown off socially. However, pimp guns are also supposed to be used socially. Most BBQ guns are only ever fired in the air (New Years, July 4th, Cinco de Beero, it's Saturday, and the like.)

Until today, I didn't know BBQ guns were a thing.
#10
Further clarification: "Pimp guns are carried by the bad boys, tend to be chrome plated or titanium nitride coated (looks gold). Frequently used to end a discussion.
"BBQ guns" generally show up when somebody throws a big BBQ or such and a next door neighbor's brother-in-law has piece he's proud of.
It's that "ooh shiny" thing.
Note that these are metal guns, Glock's need not apply. And extra points are given if in black teflon or ceracoat.

[Axios] Former Rep. Beto O'Rourke is preparing to run for governor of Texas in 2022, with an announcement expected later this year, Texas political operatives tell Axios.
The man is delusional. Still, his candidacy will put billionaire money into the Texas economy, from whence it will trickle in all directions.
O'Rourke's entry would give Democrats a high-profile candidate with a national fundraising network to challenge Republican Gov. Greg Abbott and give O'Rourke, a former three-term congressman from El Paso and 2020 presidential candidate and voting rights activist, a path to a political comeback. Imagine the look he gets from Dems who've funded his past two losing campaigns

Bleato is not well thought of by the hispanic community in Texas. Bleato should probably move to another state where he'd have better luck....maybe to Portland or Seattle he'd be able to win a race.

He came close in his Senatorial bid, and we've added a lot more immigrants from California and Mexico since then, plus a lot more dead voters. He has a real good chance.

[KhaamaPress] Pakistain provided the people of Afghanistan with another consignment of humanitarian aid that was crossed through the Torkham crossing point in the east of Afghanistan.
This was the first tranche of assistance relief crossed from Pakistain through the land on Sunday, September 19.
A statement released by the Pak embassy in Kabul reads that the aid which was loaded in 13 trucks include, flour, cooking oil, rice, pulses, and sugar.
As per the statement, additional four trucks are intended to cross the crossing point and the aid dispatched will be distributed to people in need in various provinces.
Earlier, Pakistain had dispatched tonnes of food ingredients and medicines through the air to Kabul, Kandahar province, and Khost province ... across the border from Miranshah, within commuting distance of Haqqani hangouts such as Datta Khel and probably within sight of Mordor. Khost is populated by six different tribes of Pashtuns, the largest probably being the Khostwal, from which it takes its name... The country intends to send another tranche of blankets this time as the winter season is getting closer in Afghanistan.
After the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... takeover, Afghanistan is in a humanitarian crisis and desperately needs assistance relieves as such.
The international community has pledged $1.2 billion in humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan that was welcomed by the Taliban authorities.

The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. That’s three years ago...
Samad, who held the post of president in the Houthi-controlled administration which runs most of northern Yemen, was killed in an air strike in the port city of Hodeidah on Yemen’s west coast.
The execution of the nine civilians from Hodeidah was described as a total war crime by the internationally recognized government and has sparked widespread outrage among human rights activists in the war-torn country.
Hundreds of activists took to social media against the Houthi move and accused the Iran-backed militia of striking fear among civilians in areas under its control by carrying out such actions.
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] The bodies of Indonesia’s most wanted holy warrior with ties to ISIS group and a follower, who were killed in a jungle shootout with security forces, were evacuated early Sunday to a police hospital for further investigation, police said.
The military earlier said the Death Eaters killed late Saturday were Ali Kalora, leader of the East Indonesia Mujahideen network that has claimed several killings of coppers and minority Christians, and another suspected krazed killer, Jaka Ramadan, also known as Ikrima.
The two men were fatally shot by a joint team of military and coppers in Central Sulawesi province’s mountainous Parigi Moutong district. It borders Poso district, considered an krazed killer hotbed in the province.
Several pictures obtained by The News Agency that Dare Not be Named from authorities showed an M16 rifle and backpacks laid near their bloodied bodies. The Central Sulawesi Police Chief Rudy Sufahriadi told a news conference on Sunday that security forces also seized two ready-to-use bombs from their backpacks, which also contained food and camping tools.
He said the bodies of Kalora and his follower have been evacuated to a police hospital in Palu, the bucolic provincial capital, after the rugged terrain and darkness hampered earlier evacuation efforts from the scene of the shootout in the forested village of Astina.
"We urged the other four wanted hard boyz to immediately surrender and dare to take responsibility for their actions before the law," said Sufahriadi, referring to remaining members of the East Indonesia Mujahideen who are still on the lam in the jungle on Sulawesi island.
The holy warrior group pledged allegiance to ISIS in 2014, and Indonesia has intensified its security operations in the area in recent months to try to capture its members, particularly the leader, Kalora.
Two months ago, security forces killed two suspected members in a raid in the same mountainous district, several days after authorities claimed that Kalora and three group members planned to surrender. The surrender was reportedly cancelled after other members rejected the plan.
Kalora had eluded capture for more than a decade. He took over leadership of the group from Abu Wardah Santoso, who was killed by security forces in July 2016. Dozens of other leaders and members have been killed or captured since then.

[LIBYAREVIEW] On Saturday, the Sudanese Rapid Support Forces (RSF) seized a shipment of weapons from Libya, and arrested four smugglers, including two Libyans.
"Our forces deployed on the border strip between Sudan, Egypt, and Libya, managed to seize a shipment of weapons, ammunition, and explosives coming from Libya," the RSF said in a statement.
The RSF Commander, Lieutenant-Colonel, Ali Ahmed Mahmoud Awajeh, said the RSF units were dispatched to the Saif al-Barli area on the border triangle after receiving intelligence about the presence of arms-trading gangs in the area.
RSF patrols clashed with the smuggling gang three kilometers from Saif al-Barli area and pursued them.
"After the festivities, the forces confiscated two GMC cars carrying 36 Kalashnikov rifles and a box of Kornet grenades, Dushka cannon, RPG-7 launchers, and a large number of various other kinds of weapons," the statement revealed.
Notably, the government in Sudan closed the country’s borders with Libya many times, citing security and economic risks. It has repeatedly complained of arms smuggling across its borders.
Last April, the Sudanese Security and Defence Council, the highest authority in the country, decided to monitor the borders to prevent the flow and spread of weapons. This occurred in the wake of violence that broke out in Sudan on April 3rd and lasted for more than a week.
However, if you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning... the new Governor of the western Darfur region, Mini Arko Minawi, in August decided to re-open the borders for trade with Libya and other neighbouring countries.

[FOX] A military aircraft crashed in a Texas neighborhood late Sunday morning, damaging three homes and displacing the residents, police said.
The crash happened around 11:15 a.m. between the 4000 blocks of Tejas and Dakota in Lake Worth Texas, about two miles northeast of Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth.
The U.S Navy has identified the aircraft as a T-45C Goshawk jet trainer assigned to Training Air Wing 2 at Naval Air Station in Kingsville, Texas.
The two pilots ejected themselves before the crash. One of the pilot's parachutes got caught in powerlines, while the other pilot was found nearby, Lake Worth Police Chief J.T. Manoushagian said.
Both pilots have been transported to medical facilities for evaluation and are in stable condition.
The aircraft had been conducting a routine training flight that originated from Corpus Christi International Airport, according to the Chief of Naval Air Training.
The residents of the damaged homes were displaced and a Red Cross team was on scene to assist them. No injuries were reported.
Multiple agencies, including the Forth Worth police and fire department, were on scene assisting.
NYC chapter of Black Lives Matter is planning to hold a protest against the Manhattan restaurant where three black women were filmed assaulting an Asian hostess after she asked for vaccination proof per city law. The women say they were racially profiled. https://t.co/uInrTz17Tz
Following the altercation, Hawk Newsome, co-founder of Black Lives Matter NY, said that the organization plans to hold a protest on Monday in response to the incident.
Three Texas women who were filmed allegedly attacking a Carmine's restaurant hostess after she asked for their vaccination proof are now saying that they were racially profiled and were called the N-word during the incident.
According to the Daily Mail, the trio, all of which are black women, are now calling for the 24-year-old Asian hostess to be fired from her job, alleging that she was, in fact, the aggressor. The hostess was taken to the hospital following the incident with minor injuries, with police arresting 21-year-old Tyonnie Keshay Rankin, 44-year-old Kaeita Nkeenge Rankin, and 49-year-old Sally Rechelle Lewis and charging them with misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief.

even my hard core lefty friends admit that being a server for wakandan patrons will make you prejudiced really fast.
Sorry, flinched.
Worst kept secret in food service.
I even read an article some ten years ago, some researchers or whatnot went into one of those decent food decent price restaurants everyone goes to, a national brand, to find out if servers earn better tips from same race patrons. What they found out is, by and large, all the servers regardless of race cringed when a black group arrived, mostly because the absolute lack, not low lack, of tipping made even a good time become a sort of wasted time experience.
Obviously this was not a valid research as there could be many factors involved, especially mean income among patrons within restaurant's footprint....but it sure wasn't what the researchers went in thinking.
That isn't of course this, this is three patrons attempting to use privilege to bully themselves a table.

While money is an issue, a bigger one is being abused by black patrons while getting a crappy tip.
[ToloNews] A child was killed and two people, including a Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... forces member, were injured in a kaboom on Sunday evening in Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province.
Bilal Karimi, a deputy of Taliban official Zabihullah Mujahid, confirmed to TOLOnews that the earth-shattering kaboom hit a Taliban forces vehicle.
According to Karimi, the earth-shattering kaboom targeted the vehicle in PD5 of Jalalabad city, the provincial center of Nangarhar.
Karimi said a child was killed and two people, including a member of the Taliban forces, were maimed.
No group has grabbed credit for the attack.
This attack followed a blast in Kabul on Saturday that maimed two people, and two explosions on Saturday that targeted a Taliban vehicle in Nangarhar, which maimed around 20 people.
[SHAFAQ] A Kurdish official in Diyala Governorate said that Kurdish candidates are prevented from electoral promotion and publishing election posters in Khanaqin.
The official front man for the Kurdistan Alliance and member of the Khanaqin Center for the PUK, Abbas Mahmoud, told Shafaq News Agency, "the candidates of the Kurdish parties were prevented by the other parties from publishing electoral posters in Saadiyah, Jalawla, Jabara and Qara Tapa."
Mahmoud expressed astonishment at the deprivation of the Kurdish candidates from their right to promote their candidacy, while Arab candidates from Arab parties are conducting their electoral propaganda regularly in Khanaqin.
Mahmoud called on the Electoral Commission and the security authorities to confront any party that prevents electoral promotion.
Moreover, a Kurdish party official reported that a PUK member in Jalawla had received threats and warnings from entering Jalawla.
Since October 2017, Kurds have faced organized political and security marginalization by parties trying to revive the Arabization attempts against the Kurds, which the former regime practiced against the Kurdish community.

[LIBYAREVIEW] The Customs Department at the al-Khums sea port thwarted the smuggling of narcotic tablets inside a container coming from abroad.
The department explained that it managed to foil the smuggling operation after receiving information that there was a container suspected of containing narcotics.
"After the search and investigation, the members of the department officers were able to seize a large quantity of narcotic pills amounting to 175360 tablets," the Customs Department said in a statement on Sunday.
In May, the Head of Libya’s National Central Bureau, Adel Bentaleb, said that they noticed a marked increase in narcos using Libya as a transshipment point, including for drugs from as far as South America.
"While many of these drugs are neither produced nor consumed here, this has not spared us from the violent mostly peaceful crime inevitably wrought by such activity, which we are determined to combat alongside Interpol," Bentaleb said.
Drug traffickers are using Libya as a transit route for illegal drugs from South America to Europe. The National Central Bureau said drugs worth nearly 100 million euros were seized in Africa and the Middle East during a large international police operation in March and April.

Kara Bell took the lectern at the Lake Travis Independent School District board meeting on Wednesday to discuss a book in the middle school libraries
She said the book, Out of Darkness by Ashley Hope Perez, contained a scene describing anal sex and including inappropriate language
On one page, she said the book reads: 'Put it in her coin box, put it in her cornhole, grab a hold of that braid, rub that Calico'
Bell, a former school board candidate, said she does not want her children to learn about anal sex
She said she wants the school board to instead focus on education and remove the book from its shelves
The next day, officials in the Austin-based district announced they have removed the book and its contents are under review
Definitely not appropriate for middle school, nor for public school libraries. That kind of thing kids can buy with their own money, if they really feel it’s necessary.

[ToloNews] A number of school-aged girls and young women on Sunday told TOLOnews they are disappointed by the recent decision of the Education Ministry of the caretaker cabinet to not allow female students to attend secondary school-level classes.
The Education Ministry in a statement said on Friday that only boys’ schools will reopen, and only male teachers can restart their jobs, but did not say anything about female teachers or girls returning to school.
On Saturday, boys and male teachers appeared in schools, but girls’ schools and classrooms remained empty.
According to students and teachers, the decision has shut out millions of girls across the country.
Fatima is a student at the Sayedul Shuhada Girls High School in western Kabul. She says she wants to become a lawyer in the future, but now she is prohibited from chasing her dream and is badly disappointed.
"As a girl, I feel like I am not a citizen of Afghanistan. I am locked at home like a prisoner," she said.
A number of boys, meanwhile, urged the Education Ministry to allow the girls to continue their schooling. "Our schools have reopened, and it would be good if girls’ schools also reopened so they can continue their classes," said Ahmad, a student.
"The girls’ schools should also reopen," another student said.
Just In Sayedul Shuhada Girls High School, thousands of girls are being deprived of an education. According to the school administration, around 7,000 students are enrolled at the school. Following the recent decision, nearly 5,000 girls have not been allowed back.
Aqila Tawakuli, the headmaster of the school, said that around 4,745 students who are in classes above sixth grade are at their homes.
Based on numbers of the Education Ministry, currently 14,098 schools operate in Afghanistan, of which 4,932 are schools with students from grade 10-12, 3,781 from grades 7-9, and 5,385 from grade 1-6.
According to the statistics, out of the total schools, 28 percent of grade 10-12, 15.5 percent of 7-9, and 13.5 percent of grade 1-6 are girls’ schools.
Saeed Khosti, a member of the Cultural Commission of the Culture and Information Ministry, said: "There are technical problems. There are problems that should be solved fundamentally and there is a need to make a policy and framework. In this framework, it should be established how our girls should continue their lessons. When these problems are solved, all the girls can go to school."
The female students said that although the Taliban ...Arabic for students... has repeatedly said it has changed, their recent decision is disappointing and causes the girls and young women to fear a further loss of rights.
Looking at the photo at the link, there were perhaps a few dozen protesters willing to risk Talib beatings.
[ToloNews] Women's rights and civil society activists on Sunday gathered in front of the former women's affairs ministry building to react against education restrictions against women and girls and to demand that their intetests are represented in the government.
The caretaker cabinet recently replaced the ministry of women's affairs with the ministry of virtue and vice, and told formerly employed women to stay at home.
The protestors called for the caretaker government to reinstitute the ministry of women and to allow the girls’ secondary schools to be opened.
Lida, a civil society activist, said: "The ministry of women, which is the identity of women, should not be eliminated. This elimination means the removal of women from society."
Women's rights activist Diba Farahmand said: "The ministry of virtue and vice should not have replaced the ministry of women. It should go elsewhere."
In the meantime, the protestors emphasized that the women who have been prohibited from working are financially responsible for their families. "There are women who are breadwinners for their families. There is no way for them, except working," said Hasina Sarwari, a women's rights activist.
Meanwhile, ...back at the fist fight, Jake ducked another roundhouse, then parried with his left, then with his right, finally with his chin... a movement called "Wave of Change" led by Fawzia Koofi held a meeting on Sunday, and called for the inclusion of women in the caretaker government, otherwise the movement will launch civil protests.
Fawzia Koofi, who attended the meeting virtually, said that she is coming to Afghanistan soon. She said: "It is apparent that the Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... sideline women from society. It is clear that the Taliban still hold their previous ideas and have not changed."
This comes as the education ministry of the caretaker cabinet on Friday announced only that male students and teachers should report to school.

When the Nazis shut my mother out of public and private schools in the Netherlands, then shut down the Jewish schools, my grandmother found Jewish educators to tutor Mama in the living room. There were stories about such things in Afghanistan the last time round, so I expect parents are quietly getting on with it, this time with modern textbooks.
[EpochTimes] The U.S. Treasury Department has sanctioned several Chinese entities and individuals based in China for financing Iran-related terrorist activities.
The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the Treasury Department posted on its website on Sept. 17 that it’s imposing sanctions on members of the networks that finance the terrorist organization Hezbollah in Leb ...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers, a practice dating back to the heady human sacrifice days of Baal Moloch. In 2020 Hezbollahblew up a considerable portion of Beirut and many of its inhabitants when its ammonium nitrate faci8lity exploded. They blamed it on... somebody else. It wasn't them though. Trust them on that... and Kuwait. The United States has also sanctioned members of international financial controllers and front company networks that provide financial support to Hezbollah and Iran.
Several of the sanctioned companies are based in Hong Kong, including PCA Xiang Gang Ltd.; Damineh Optic Ltd.; China 49 Group Co. Ltd.; Taiwan Be Charm Trading Co., Ltd.; and Black Drop Intl Co., Ltd.
Those companies are either directly or indirectly owned, controlled, or directed by Morteza Minaye Hashemi, an Iranian businessman living in China who’s also on the sanctions list. Hashemi is accused by the U.S. government of funding the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force (IRGC-QF).
Hashemi, who controls a number of companies in Hong Kong and mainland China, was helped by two Chinese nationals, Yan Su Xuan and Song Jing, according to the Treasury Department’s statement. They opened a bank account for Hashemi under his instructions and are the owners of the company on paper. Yan also purchased military-civil, dual-use products from the United States on behalf of Hashemi to ship to Iran.
The two other companies now under sanctions—Victory Somo Group (HK) Ltd. and Yummy Be Charm Trading (HK) Ltd.—are owned or controlled by Song. Hashemi also has supervised the financing and management of the companies.
The Treasury Department stated that it will seize the properties of the sanctioned individuals and entities in the United States and prohibit all transactions with them.
The department stated that Hashemi used his access to the international financial system to launder money for IRGC-QF and Hezbollah. Hashemi worked with Mohammad Reza Kazemi to launder tens of millions of dollars for IRGC-QF and Hezbollah through foreign exchange and gold sales.
Regarding the new sanctions, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement that Hezbollah used revenues generated by the financial networks to "fund terrorist activities and to perpetuate instability in Lebanon and throughout the region."
Blinken called on governments around the world to take measures to ensure that Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations aren’t allowed to have access to financial institutions.
"The United States will not relent in targeting these networks, and we will continue to take action to disrupt their activities," he said.

At a polling station in Pyatigorsk, the camera lens was closed with a mop and a rag at night, creating conditions for fraud with safes in the absence of video recording of violations. The chairman of the territorial commission after this should be immediately dismissed, said the head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova.
As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote, on September 18 there were reports of violations at the elections in the Stavropol Territory. So, the representative of the candidate for the State Duma deputy Alexei Fokin said that he could not vote in Zheleznovodsk, because there was someone else's signature in front of his name on the voter list. In Stavropol, Artem Gavrilov, a member of the advisory committee of PEC No. 83, complained about obstacles in filming the transfer of voters' books, and also said that there were no seals on the box with ballots.
Voting in the elections to the State Duma is held for three days in a row - from 17 to 19 September. In the Stavropol Territory, elections of deputies of the regional parliament, as well as of representative bodies in Stavropol, Pyatigorsk, Kislovodsk, Zheleznovodsk and Nevinnomyssk, are being held in parallel, the Caucasian Knot statement " Elections 2021 in the South of Russia: the main thing about a single voting day " says .
The head of the Central Election Commission of Russia, Ella Pamfilova, ordered the dismissal of the chairman of the territorial election commission after a violation was revealed at a polling station in Pyatigorsk.
"We need to immediately, immediately make a decision - dismiss the chairman, transfer cases to law enforcement agencies, and we will carefully monitor this. Cancel everything here [the results of the elections on September 17 and 18] that can be canceled," TASS quoted her as saying today.
The reason for the indignation was the video recording from PEC No. 1085 in Pyatigorsk, shown by CEC member Alexander Kurdyumov. The footage shows how some people cover the camera lens with a mop and rag. "A shadow appears, which is trying to do something with the safes, a friend is actively holding a mop. We switch another camera, which should show the safes. This happens for 5-10 minutes, then the girls abruptly leave, the cleaner opens the camera with a mop quickly leaves the premises. We open the first chamber - there, of course, the safes are like new, with new seals, apparently, "the agency quotes Kurdyumov.
According to the timestamps on the footage, the video was made at about 2317 hrs Moscow time on September 18, when the site number 1085 was closed, said "Notebook Stavropol" today at 0839 hrs Moscow time. The chairman of the TEC of Pyatigorsk, Alexander Borodaev, assured that he was not aware of what had happened.
"Currently, I do not know anything about this," the newspaper quoted Borodaev as saying.
This violation was reported at 0922 hrs Moscow time by the voter, it follows from the publication on the website "Map of violations", which is conducted by the movement "Golos."
"At night they carried out fraud at the polling station, and to hide it, they closed the video camera with a mop!" - the message says. Attached to the publication is a file entitled "Video recording from polling station No. 1085 in Pyatigorsk, where an unknown person is covering one of the surveillance cameras with a mop."
In total, 34 reports of violations in the Stavropol Territory were posted on the "Map of Violations" by 1530 hrs. Almost half of them (16) are reported on violations of the rights of observers, members of the commission and the media on voting days. Official complaints were filed on 15 cases of violations, it follows from the statistics of the "Map of violations".
An observer at a polling station in Armavir was detained for 10 days for participating in the rally of opposition leader Alexei Navalny on January 23.
As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote, on the first day of voting, September 17, the proxy of the candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Rostislav Shcherbakov, filed two complaints about violations during the voting in Anapa and was attacked at the exit from the polling station. In the evening of that day, an observer from the candidate for deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Aleksey Glimeydo, was beaten. Doctors recorded minor injuries, the activist sent a complaint to the police. On September 18, an observer from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Okolizdaev, announced that he was beaten at the exit from a polling station in Novorossiysk. Okolizdaev considered the target of the attackers to be falsification of the voting results.
Kuban voters announced on September 15 that they were forced to vote at work. State employees and workers in enterprises in the Krasnodar Territory are forced to detach themselves from polling stations at their place of residence and vote at their place of work, which makes it possible to control turnout, party representatives argued. Kuban is in the top five regions with the highest number of complaints of violations, said activist of the "Golos" movement, David Kankiya.
On September 17, security officials detained a member of the electoral commission with a decisive vote Yevgeny Volkov at a polling station, where he, as an independent observer, followed the course of the voting, an observer from a polling station in Armavir told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent today .
On the same day, the Armavir City Court ruled to arrest Volkov for 10 days for violating the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting, rally (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation), she said. According to the observer, there has been no communication with Volkov since the arrest, and his phone was seized. Note that 10 days is the maximum term of arrest under this article.
"He was arrested for organizing a rally in support of Alexei Navalny, which took place back on January 23. Until yesterday (September 16), there were no complaints from the police against him," the observer said.
The police detained an observer from the Yabloko party, Ksenia Klimova, on the territory of the precinct election commission in Volgograd, and after interrogation at the polling station sent him to the police department.
As the "Caucasian Knot" has reported , at the elections in Volgograd on September 17 and 18, observers complained of massive violations related to the on-site voting. The head of A Just Russia, Sergei Mironov, demanded to invalidate the results of voting at polling station No. 838, where an observer on September 17 filmed the moment of ballot stuffing. The members of the precinct election commission did not throw in ballots, but voted, the TEC chairwoman said. Today, Yabloko observer Daniil Bagrovsky was quarantined from a polling station due to a slightly elevated temperature. Bagrovsky suggested that he was deliberately removed from the site.
Today at 1010 hrs Moscow time in the Kirovsky district of Volgograd at PEC # 515, the police detained a member of the precinct commission with an advisory vote from the Yabloko party, Ksenia Klimova . She was escorted to the office of the Resource Center for School Volunteering on the first floor of gymnasium # 10, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reported.
Half an hour later, Ksenia's lawyer and Nadezhda Stepanenko, a member of the TEC of the Kirovsky district of Volgograd with an advisory vote, arrived.
"I am not allowed to see Ksenia, although I am a full member of the TEC. What is happening there is not clear. They say that she is being searched. On what grounds, they do not say," Nadezhda Stepanenko told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
A police officer came out of the office. She refused to introduce herself and give reasons for the detention of Klimova. The lawyer also declined to comment. After a two-hour interrogation, Ksenia Klimova was taken out of the office. The police escorted her to the lawyer's car and took her to the district police station, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reported.
ST. PETERSBURG , September 19, 2021 , 20:31 - REGNUM
Just during the counting of votes at polling station No. 803 in St. Petersburg, there was a fight and the destruction of part of the ballots (photos and videos of the events are at the disposal of the editorial office). This was reported by a REGNUM correspondent from the scene.
Police intervention did not immediately help end the riots. Now the PEC secretary is trying to count the spoiled ballots. During the riots, PEC chairman Mikhail Fedorov was removed from office by the deputy chairman Nikita Leikin.
N. Leikin tried to count the ballots on his own, but he was prevented from doing this by the observers who were at the polling station, who called for help from the police and a representative of the TEC.

MOSCOW, September 19. /TASS/.
Twelve cases of ballot stuffing have been confirmed in eight Russian regions, Central Election Commission (CEC) Chairperson Ella Pamfilova announced at the CEC information center on Sunday.
"As for ballot stuffing <...> 12 cases of ballot stuffing have been confirmed in eight Russian regions. It's not too many nationwide, it was overhyped by some media outlets," she noted.
According to Pamfilova, such cases were reported in the Adygea, Kalmykia, North Ossetia, Bryansk, Ivanovo, Kemerovo, Moscow and Saratov regions. "All of those ballots were declared invalid. Probes are underway, which particularly involve law enforcement agencies," the CEC chief added. The chairs of local election commissions in the Adygea, Bryansk and Kemerovo regions, where ballot stuffing was recorded, have been dismissed.
"The Russian Investigative Committee in the Adygea region opened a criminal case against former head of the local election commission Gavrilova," Pamfilova said.

Not as blatant as Biden's theft. And their oligarchs didn't interfere the way our$ did: $100 million each from Steter and Soros, $200m from Bloomberg and $500 million from Zuckerberg -- all to ensure their desired outcome.
Russian longevity and fertility rates are increasing.
American longevity and fertility rates are now DECLINING.
America's now the equivalent of Yeltsin's Russia. Whose ruinous, treasonous misrule led to Putin's restoration of order and competence thanks to authoritarianism.
And which is our future, too. Either left illiberalism or right illiberalism, but illiberalism nonetheless.

Russian longevity and fertility rates are increasing.
Glad to hear that, Uneager Unomomp5931. Please let us know when they reach replacement levels.
As for illiberalism, we’re still at the ballot box stage of things, and the populace continues to vote with their feet for Constitutional bounds on government.
[EpochTimes] More foreign Fortune Global 500 companies such as Samsung, Toshiba, and Ericsson, are speeding up withdrawal from China in September, and thousands of workers are facing unemployment.
South Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries Co. (Samsung Heavy) is carrying on the capital withdrawal from its Ningbo, Zhejiang Province shipbuilding plant “due to decreased productivity caused by its superannuated facilities,” wrote Korea Herald, a South Korean media in Seoul.
Since Sept. 8 thousands of employees gathered at the Ningbo plant to protest the closure of the factory, and express their dissatisfaction with the compensation package proposed by management.
The protesters held banners that said “Samsung is my home, I want to work! I need to support my family!” and “The government ‘vacate the cage and replace the bird,’ while the employees get the least.”
“Vacate the cage and replace the bird” is an industrial restructuring strategy of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) proposed by Wang Yang, then Party Secretary of Guangdong Province, in May 2008, indicating relocation or elimination of certain industries in the region and replacement or upgrading of other industries in the same region.
A document from the local government, and circulated online, said that Ningbo government has signed an agreement to reclaim about 476 hectares of the land of Samsung Heavy Industries.
In fact, early in 2020, workers had heard that the government was going to take over the land. “Samsung Heavy’s withdrawal of its investment this time is because the Ningbo authorities unilaterally reclaimed the land and paid Samsung Heavy about $620-770 million as compensation,” said Zhang.
“Ningbo plans to use the land to build a chemical zone,” he said.
The Ningbo officials have not yet confirmed how the land will be used.
“Although the authorities did not mobilize people to boycott Samsung, it was a disguised boycott and expulsion,” said Chinese financial media blogger “Financial Cold Eye” in a Youtube video on September 11.
TOSHIBA AND ERICSSON SHUTTING DOWN IN TWO CITIES
Besides Samsung, Japanese electronics giant Toshiba and Swedish telecom gear maker Ericsson are also closing their companies in china.
Japanese electronics giant Toshiba will shutter its factory in the northeastern city of Dalian, Liaoning Province at the end of September, Nikkei Asia said.
Caijing, a Chinese financial media said that on September 11, serval employees of Toshiba Dalian told The Time Weekly that some employees are no longer working there.
Toshiba Dalian was established on September 25, 1991. When the company closes, it will have reached its 30th anniversary.
Swedish telecom equipment manufacturer Ericsson is closing its R&D center in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province and TietoEVRY, a company headquartered in Finland, has agreed to take a 630 of its employees, reported Mobile World Live.
Early in July, Ericsson released its second-quarter 2021 financial report indicating that sales fell by more than 60 percent year-on-year, resulting in a 1 percent year-on-year decline in overall revenue, according to data by Caixin, a financial media in China.
MORE FOREIGN INVESTMENT OF FORTUNE GLOBAL 500 LOOK TO WITHDRAW FROM CHINA
After the outbreak of the U.S.-China trade war coupled with the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the global supply chain has seen the importance of disconnecting from the CCP. “Now it is a major trend for the foreign companies of Fortune Global 500 to move their industrial chains out of China,” said Financial Cold Eye.
Japanese Panasonic Group will close its battery plant in Shanghai, China. Panasonic will focus its investments on Central and South America and Southeast Asia, where it has the largest share, said Nikkei Asia in April.
IBM shut down a research institute in China, which operated in northwestern Beijing’s Zhongguancun area for 25 years, reported Today China on Jan. 24.
Apple, Microsoft, and Google planned to move their production lines to other parts of Asian countries like Vietnam, Thailand, CNBC reported on March 4, 2020.
And global consumer electronics makers HP, Dell, Microsoft, and Amazon are all looking to shift substantial production capacity out of China, reported Nikkei Asia on July 3, 2019.

Story was about Gerbil 500 companies. They are moving pieces around on the chess board but if you believe they are giving up on china, you don't get slave labor at all.
Slave labor can't be employed directly. Even Foxconn won't use slave labor. That segment falls within the purview of Chinese subcontractors. Turning a blind eye comes easier when someone else houses and feeds the slaves. Get a complaint? Switch subcontractors. No severance required.
The problem with China is theft of intellectual property. Outside of literal slave labor, Chinese salaries exceed maquiladora levels. Land prices are in the stratosphere, thanks to its massive property bubble. Previously lax regulatory enforcement against foreign operations is now almost vengeful, as if the Chinese are settling long-held grievances on their backs, even while their Chinese competition gets a free ride. Bottom line is that China welcomes foreign investment, but the grift gets into gear as soon as the investment is complete. If they are long-term thinkers, the Chinese definition is in the ballpark of a year.

The exec's at these companies are like stockbrokers.
They get salary and bonuses to move the pieces around on the board, and it's irrelevant whether the companies make any money.

[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] ISIS on Saturday claimed an attack on a major natural gas pipeline southeast of the Syrian capital that led to power outages in the city and surrounding areas. As if you could tell one explosion in Syria from another...
ISIS bully boyz "were able to plant and detonate explosives on the gas pipeline feeding the Tishreen and Deir Ali plants," the group said in a statement.
The Deir Ali station southeast of Damascus generates half of Syria's power needs, Electricity Minister Ghassan al-Zamel said Saturday in comments carried by the official SANA news agency.
AFP quoted him as saying that an attack on the gas pipeline on Friday evening with bombs caused the station to go out of service temporarily.
The outage affected several other stations, causing blackouts in Damascus, its outskirts and other areas, Zamel said, before power was restored some thirty minutes later.
He said maintenance works had started Saturday but warned of severe rationing until the pipeline is repaired and power plants resume normal operations.
The Deir Ali and Tishreen plants remain out of service.
ISIS’s so-called caliphate in Syria was declared defeated in the riverside hamlet of Baghouz in 2019 following a grueling US-backed offensive.
But the group continues to conduct attacks on Syrian government forces from its hideouts, including in the vast east Syrian desert.

[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Russian warplanes are intensely pounding Syria’s northwestern Idlib province to add pressure on Ankara ahead of an anticipated meeting between President Vladimir Putin ...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances... and Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than there are in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really most important... in Sochi, according to a senior Ottoman Turkish official.
By the end of September, a tripartite summit, including Iran, will be held in the Black Sea resort city of Sochi under the Astana process.
Speaking to Hurriyet Daily News under the conditions of anonymity, the bigwig said that the "main agenda point is Syria, namely Idlib." They were referring to planned talks in Sochi.
"The conditions set out in the Idlib agreement have not been fully implemented," they added.
An agreement signed in March 2020 had followed weeks of fighting that brought The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund... and Russia close to conflict and displaced nearly a million people.
The official added that the intense strikes launched by Russian and Syrian warplanes on targets in Idlib in recent weeks indicate that the calm that has prevailed in the region since the March 2020 agreement had started to change.
Moscow is trying to pressure Turkey through its sudden escalation of Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s in Idlib, the official explained.
In an article published by Hurriyet, Ottoman Turkish writer and analyst Sedat Ergin said that Moscow and Damascus stepping up their airstrikes in Idlib over the last few weeks aims to redirect Turkey’s attention away from developments in Afghanistan.
Ergin warns that Turkey could be looking at a future like that of Afghanistan in Idlib.
"The sudden increase in Russian air attacks in Idlib is possibly aimed at putting pressure on Ankara for other political reasons," said Ergin, highlighting that the strikes come just a few days away from the anticipated talks in Sochi.
For Ergin, Russia is "trying to reinforce its negotiating position by conducting more strikes ahead of the summit."

[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Saudi Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Fifteen of the nineteen WTC hijackers were Saudis, and most major jihadi commanders were Saudis, to include Osama bin Laden. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman quietly folded that tent in 2016, doing terrible things to the guys running it, and has since been dragging the kingdom into the current century... has started implementing new legislation for its justice system to improve judicial services and develop courts.
The new Judicial Costs Law, approved by the Council of Ministers, will reduce malicious lawsuits, encourage reconciliation between litigants, and promote documentation of transactions and contracts.
There will be no court costs for lawsuits related to divorce, alimony, and child’s custody.
There will be free litigation if it is a right guaranteed to all parties involved in cases that are not subject to the new law.
The idea of imposing fees is based on eliminating disparities between judicial costs and the principle of free litigation. The law also aims to contribute to raising the performance level of courts and bring down the number of malicious lawsuits.
There are provisions in the law under which the loser in the lawsuit shall bear the costs of litigation. The provisions of the law will be applicable to all lawsuits and pleas filed in the courts.
There will be exemption for five types of lawsuits. They are general criminal lawsuits and requests related to them; lawsuits and requests related to the execution of judicial verdicts; lawsuits examined by the Civil Status Courts such as divorce, alimony and custody (of children); lawsuits and requests that are within the jurisdiction of the administrative courts established to deal with state agencies, in addition to the suits related to termination of court proceedings.
The law ensures that judicial costs do not exceed SAR 1 million, taking into account of the effectiveness of the amount spent in achieving the objectives of the law.
The law also exempts from payment of judicial costs in a number of occasions, such as prisoners and detainees at the time they are entitled to judicial costs in financial cases that are nothing to do with criminal cases filed either by them or against them; plea for appeal if the court orders to review an appealed judgment, in addition to the request for cassation if it was decided to return the case to the court that issued the judgment, in the event of objecting the verdict.
Those who are exempted from the law included the parties involved in the cases that end in conciliation before the first session is adjourned, as well as claims for special rights that are filed in penal cases if they end in conciliation, in addition to the cases in which the arbitrators’ judgment is issued.
The law clarified that there will be a reduction of costs to one-fourth in the event of reconciliation, in addition to refunding the judicial costs paid when it becomes clear that it was not obligatory for them to make the payment.
According to the law, failure to pay the judicial costs does not prevent the court either from hearing the case or continuing with procedures including issuing of the verdict, and their collection shall be in accordance with the procedures and rules specified by the regulation.
The collected judicial costs shall be deposited in a special account of the Ministry of Finance, and that will be set aside to spend on projects to develop the judiciary and improve the performance of the judicial facility.

Abdulrahman Al-Rashed [ENGLISH.AAWSAT] It is not easy to forget that terrible day, and even after 20 years it is still disturbing and frightening that it can happen again anywhere in the world, and dreadfully replicable.
Two decades later, the number of al-Qaeda gunnies has increased, their areas of deployment have expanded, recruitment continues, and their weapons have evolved. They are in training camps in Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. Um, this isn't hard.
We were not surprised. Read what the AQ and ISIS leaders are saying...they mean it. OBL told everyone what he was going to do and he did it. Target the leaders and financiers that yap about attacking the US.
Agree on the AQ as an idea...Be aware of the literature given out by the mosques here in the states...if Wahab or Ibn al Taimiyyah are the scholars they follow, then that area will live perpetually one minute away from a terrorist attack.
We need to build the lawfare capability to win - we need the authorities established up front to respond...the AUMFs, the law of war needs to be expanded to deal with ununiformed enemy combatants, test what we have in the Military Commissions and fix the problems in the law, and make sure our federal laws support. Do this now rather than sit around and complain about what we don't have when it happens again.

Hopefully I'm wrong and all their successes are classified but it doesn't seem that our intelligence services and military leaders have improved at all since 9/11.

[EpochTimes] Almost 30 more U.S. citizens have been flown out of Taliban ...Arabic for students... -controlled Afghanistan since the full withdrawal of U.S. troops, the State Department confirmed on Sept. 18.
"We can confirm that a Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi... Airways charter flight departed from Kabul yesterday with 28 U.S. citizens and 7 lawful permanent residents on board," State Department spokesperson Ned Price said in a statement.
"We are grateful to Qatari authorities, who continue to coordinate these flights with us. We will continue to help U.S. citizens and Afghans affiliated with the U.S. government to depart Afghanistan."
Price suggested that the evacuation succeeded because of the Taliban’s cooperation.
He also indicated that the United States will continue the engagement with the terrorist group to ensure "U.S. citizens and Afghans enjoy full freedom of movement."
The News Agency that Dare Not be Named reported that more than 150 passengers were on the flight, citing an anonymous official. The news agency also said that more than 300 foreign nationals, U.S. green card holders, and Afghans with special visas have left Afghanistan in the past week.
The Epoch Times cannot independently verify the AP reports.
The White House had said in early September that more than 100 Americans remained in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan.
Between 100 and 200 U.S. citizens were believed to be in the country when U.S. troops exited on Aug. 30. That number remains above 100, but "it is closer to 100" than 200, White House press secretary Jen Psaki ...a valley girl who woke up one morning and found she was spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of State under Obama. A new American success story, under Biden she became spokeswoman for the whole administration, and she was even able to get her sister a job... told news hounds in Washington.
Without a military presence in Afghanistan, the United States is attempting to use diplomatic means to secure safe passage for the Americans stranded in the country.

[TRENDINGPOLITICS] "For Lightweight General Mark Milley to have called the Chinese to "bring down the temperature" of my negotiations with them, negotiations that were having a major positive impact on large-scale benefits to the United States, is outrageous. We were not going to make any Military moves—never even thought of it, but we were hitting them so hard in all other ways," Trump said.
"’Dumbo’ Milley inserted himself right in the middle of my trade negotiation, and if he did what is reported, he would have had a profound negative effect on those negotiations," Trump said. "Milley is an idiot with no common sense or ability to negotiate—that’s why he left $85 Billion of the World’s best Military equipment in the hands of the Taliban ...Arabic for students... for no reason whatsoever. That’s also why 13 young Warriors are not with their families tonight."
Trump wasn’t finished. He went on to comment about the Russia investigation that lingered on throughout his presidency. It was all a scam.
"Mark Milley hurt our Country very badly, and he should pay a big price, just like the crooked politicians and lawyers on the Crooked Hillary Clinton ...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away. Politix is not one of her talents, but it's something she keeps trying to do... campaign for the years of Fake Russia, Russia, Russia stories that are now being revealed with the arrest yesterday of Attorney Michael Sussmann of the Democrat’s Law Firm Perkins Coie, who was one of the heads of the operation," Trump said.

[BREITBART] Texas Governor Greg Abbott ... governor of Texas. Abbott is a Republican. His 2014 Dem opponent, state senatrix Wendy Davis, thought the absolute, most pressing, most important issue facing the state was abortion. Abbott beat the pantyhose off her. His 2018 opponent, Lupe Valdez didn't dwell too heavily on abortion, but she lost too... deployed a contingent of Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Highway Patrol troopers
“One traffic jam, one trooper.”
to stop the free flow of mostly Haitian migrants colonists from crossing the Rio Grande. The force of nearly 1,000 troopers and National Guard soldiers entered the makeshift migrant camp housing nearly 15,000
...a number that keeps rising as the days pass, oddly enough...
migrants colonists under the Del Rio International Bridge.
On Saturday afternoon, the troopers used vehicles and barbed wire to block access to a weir dam stretching the Rio Grande. The migrants colonists utilized the dam as the primary crossing point from Mexico into the makeshift camp.
As of late Saturday, the crossings had completely stopped after the DPS blocked access using vehicles and a rudimentary barbed-wire barrier. Just hours before, Breitbart Texas visited the camp by boat and witnessed the non-stop crossings of newly arriving migrants colonists and those using the dam to bring in food and other supplies from Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila.
Although the migrants colonists are being provided food and water by the Border Patrol and local authorities on scene, many chose to seek their own provisions from Acuna.
They don’t do Mexican food right in Texas, donchaknow.
Moslem colonists Migrants also brought cardboard and other materials used to construct primitive shelters alongside the international bridge. Many have spent more than a week in the shelter. As Breitbart Texas first reported, the migrants colonists began arriving in significant numbers earlier this month.
There are other areas that are being used by the migrants colonists to ford the river, but none provide the shallow, easy access that the dam afforded. Bringing goods and supplies into the camp from Mexico will be near impossible without access to the dam. Authorities have been worried about tension building up in the camp as the population continues to swell.
The troopers and Guardsmen, deployed as part of Texas Governor Gregg Abbott’s Operation Lone Star have been dispatched to border communities since March. The contingent of more than 1,000 Highway Patrol troopers and Texas Army National Guard soldiers have focused primarily on blocking major migrant crossing points and increasing patrols along state highways leading away from the border.

These days, I like to see it like a book of matches. The federal gov is the striker strip and the states are the matches. Yes, the striker is still there if all the matches are burned, but then it's useless.

It should be declared as a foreign invasion by the state and the admission that it is an act of war. Texas should close it's entire southern border and fortify it until such time as the invaders are repelled.
[LIBYAREVIEW] On Sunday, the Libyan Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdelhamid al-Dbaiba said that the long-standing Chairman of the state-run National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah, can remain in his post.
Al-Dbaiba’s decree has revoked an earlier decision by the country’s Oil and Gas Minister, Mohammed Aoun, who sought to suspend the NOC’s Chairman.
The announcement may also end a dispute between the NOC and Oil and Gas Ministry that risked causing a slump in the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) member’s crude production.
Oil Minister, Mohammed Aoun, said in late August that Sanallah, who’s been in his role for seven years, was suspended for an alleged "violation" of rules regarding business travel.
The attempted ouster underscored the political tensions in a country that’s been mired in conflict and civil war for much of the past decade.
On Friday, the NOC announced the resumption of crude oil exports in both Sidra and Ras Lanuf ports, after stopping for one day. Oil exports were halted after a group of demonstrators protest inside the two ports.
Despite the delay in shipment, production was not reduced, the NOC explained.
"Since the February 2011 revolution, the NOC has been the faithful custodian of Libya’s oil wealth," Sanallah said
"We will never accept the politicization of the corporation to use it as a bargaining chip by some politicians to achieve non-national interests and agendas," Sanallah added.
Sanallah also demanded that the "hidden hands" behind these events will be held accountable, and that they be brought to justice.
However, if you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning... Libyan Minister of Oil and Gas told Bloomberg that the decision to suspend the Sanallah was still valid. "An earlier decision to suspend the NOC’s Chief was still in effect and awaiting enforcement by authorities."

[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] The new head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... has said he wants to speed up the conversion of the country's Arak heavy water reactor into a research facility.
Under a 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and world powers, Tehran agreed to modify the Arak reactor so that it could not produce military-grade plutonium.
"This project must be reconfigured and returned to operation as soon as possible," Iranian media on Saturday quoted Mohammad Eslami as saying during a visit to the site this week.
No time frame was specified.
The nuclear deal gave Iran sanctions relief in return for tight controls on its nuclear program, monitored by the UN.
Tehran has gradually rolled back its nuclear commitments since 2019, a year after then US president Donald Trump ...Oh, noze! Not him!... withdrew from the multilateral deal and began reimpozing sanctions.
Iran said in 2019 that a secondary circuit for the Arak reactor had become operational as part of its redesign, but that the reactor's primary circuit, which contains the core, was still being built.
It also said that the US withdrawal from the nuclear accord had slowed the reactor's conversion.
Eslami's comments came just days after the head of the UN's nuclear watchdog, Rafael Grossi, visited Tehran and reached a temporary arrangement to continue surveillance of Iranian nuclear facilities.
[AlAhram] Gunmen in northern Nigeria have released 10 more students after a ransom was paid, but 21 others remain in captivity despite a pledge to release them all, officials said Sunday.
The Rev. John Hayab, the chairman of the local Christian association, said the kidnappers had collected money three days ago. The 10 freed students were returned to their parents Saturday night, he said.
Assailants had stormed the Bethel Baptist High School on July 5, seizing at least 120 of the students from their hostels. Various batches of the students have been released since then and the last group was freed on Aug. 27.
The Kaduna state bandits demanded 1 million naira ($2,430) per student.
``These bandidos are torturing us emotionally, psychologically, physically, financially. They are putting us under serious pressure,'' he said of the button men. ``The moment they release a number (of students), it is because they want to ask for fresh money.``
About 1,400 children have been kidnapped from their schools over the last year and nearly 200 of them have yet to be released. Sixteen children have died in the attacks, UNICEF Nigeria Representative Peter Hawkins told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named.
As schools are set to reopen across Nigeria, UNICEF has also said at least 1 million children are afraid to return to their classrooms because of insecurity. That aggravates the education crisis in the West African country where more than 10 million children are already out of school.
Moreover, some of the freed captives have told the AP of how they continue to face trauma weeks after their freedom. Some of them have also said they won't return to school. Victory Sani, 20, who was kidnapped from the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization in Kaduna and later freed, said the button men ``asked us not to go back to school, that they will make sure they shut down all the schools in Kaduna state.''
