#1  The Romani, colloquially known as Roma, are an Indo-Aryan ethnic group, traditionally nomadic itinerants living mostly in Europe, and diaspora populations in the Americas. The Romani as a people originate from the northern Indian subcontinent, from the Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab regions of modern-day India. The Romani people are widely known in English by the exonym Gypsies, which is considered by many Romani people to be pejorative due to its connotations of illegality and irregularity as well as its historical use as a racial slur. In many other languages, regarding cognates of the word, such as French: Tzigane, Spanish: gitano, Italian: zingaro and Portuguese: cigano, this perception is either very small or non-existent. At the first World Romani Congress in 1971, it was unanimously voted to reject all exonyms for the Romani people, including Gypsy for its aforementioned negative and stereotypical connotations.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
200 painted, naked models descend on Dead Sea for photo shoot
[Washington Examiner] An American artist is photographing hundreds of nudes at Israel’s Dead Sea to highlight the sinking water levels.

Spencer Tunick , who has photographed naked models at landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and a glacier in Switzerland, returned to the Dead Sea on Sunday for the third time to photograph 200 naked people coated in white paint.

"I'm here to raise awareness of the receding waters of the Dead Sea and to bring attention to the ecological disaster that is happening," Tunick told CNN.

The shoot will benefit collaborator Ari Leon Fruchter’s dream of building a "Dead Sea museum" on the same location as the shoot.

"By connecting an environmental issue to the (human) body, (it) shows the vulnerability of the body up against nature — and also, in juxtaposition, the vulnerability of nature that's caused by the body," Tunick said. "Mankind can affect a massive sea. And I think that showing this juxtaposition of the body — very fragile — against the Dead Sea, which is equally fragile, will bring a new energy to the work and people's conversations."

We'll be expecting a full report from g(r)om as soon as he returns home.

Biden Admin Threatens To Make Unvaxx'd Navy SEALs Repay Their Training Costs
[American Thinker] I can think of few better ways to ensure that fewer qualified people will apply to join the nation's most elite fighting unit than the policy just announced by the U.S. Navy's COVID Consolidated Disposition Authority. It has issued a directive that, as Hank Berrien reports, threatens "removing them from special warfare, reducing their salaries, and forcing them to repay training."

Since training a SEAL is very expensive, this amounts to financial ruin for the heroes who undergo incredibly harsh training and who offer their lives to protect us.

President Trump's interior secretary, Ryan Zinke, a former SEAL, appropriately criticized the plan on Facebook:
Our Nation's best don't sign up to be a Navy SEAL to cash in on our training years later. We give a blood oath to fight for freedom and defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. In doing so, we bear a burden of emotional, psychological, physical, and family stress of constant deployments and low pay because we love our Country. Shame Mr. President for not recognizing the service and sacrifice and further insulting SEALs by making this about money.

Put aside any consideration of the effectiveness of the vaccines or of the side-effects that may take years to become apparent. This escalation of bullying of the bravest and most self-sacrificing among us threatens national security.

Colin Powell Dead at 84
[Politico] Colin Powell, an accomplished and esteemed four-star general who became the first African-American secretary of State, died Monday as a result of complications from Covid-19, according to his family. He was 84.

Powell was fully vaccinated against Covid-19, his family said in a statement posted to Facebook. With his death, the former soldier and statesman becomes perhaps the most high-profile American public figure to succumb to a so-called "breakthrough" infection of the novel coronavirus.

Well perish that thought. All I can say the longer you are stable the better for you. Just seven years of chest colds will cause you COPD. Pneumonia is scaring also. I would load up on Garlic 400 mg per pill with parsley so you do not inherit the odor. QID (4X)in 24hr day. Lose weight in abdominal area. Till then sit at kitchen table with elbows on the table and knee on chair. Then diaphragm can move better. Most Americans are shallow breathers. Hurried life. Stay away from diary. Coffee is good black, tea and so on. over eating will cause SOB. When you learn the rules you will do better. So I must say stop sinus infections. Your probable cause of lung problems (chronic irritation). Bin there, done that and moved on.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
Gates seems to double down on claim that Biden's been wrong on top foreign policy issues for decades
[FoxNews] Robert Gates, the former defense secretary under President Obama, seemed to reiterate in an interview that aired Sunday night that he believes President Biden has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.

Gates, who spent about three decades in the CIA, was introspective during an interview with CBS’ "60 Minutes," and was asked by Anderson Cooper, the correspondent, about his 2014 memoir titled, "Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War."

Cooper pointed out a part in the book where Gates called Biden a man of integrity but wrote that he believes he’s "been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades."

"I think he’s gotten a lot wrong," Gates responded, before pointing out Biden’s opposition to "every one of Ronald Reagan’s military programs to contest the Soviet Union," the first Gulf War, and even pointed to their differences regarding Afghanistan during the Obama administration.

He said he believes Biden made a mistake in Afghanistan in the way he handled the withdrawal.

Biden has defended his administration and essentially said there was no easy way out of the country after two decades.

"When I hear we could have, should have continued the so-called low-grade effort in Afghanistan, at low risk to our service members, at low cost," Biden said. "I don’t think enough people understand how much we’ve asked of the 1 percent of this country who put that uniform on."
True, but that doesn’t answer the challenge.
Gates, who is 78 now, told "60 Minutes" that he lives in Washington state to get as far away from D.C. as possible, but admitted that it was difficult to watch the withdrawal and subsequent chaos in Kabul. He said President Trump failed to plan properly and once Biden said there would be a "firm deadline date, that’s the point at which I think they should have begun bringing those people out."

"You have to be pretty naïve not to assume things were going to go downhill once that withdrawal was complete," he said.

BBC's Rainsford can return if Russian journalists gets UK visas - ambassador
[BBC] Russia's ambassador to the UK, Andrei Kelin, has said the treatment of Russian journalists in the UK is reason the BBC's Sarah Rainsford has been expelled from the country.

In this interview with the BBC's Andrew Marr, he insists the BBC correspondent will be allowed back into the country, where she has reported for years, once UK visas have been issued to Russian reporters.

A Russian working as a reporter for the Tass state news agency left the UK in 2019 after he was denied leave to remain. The Russian government did not make a fuss at the time.

The UK foreign office says Russian journalists continue to work freely in the UK providing they act within the law.

Sarah Rainsford was told she'd been barred from Russia by the FSB security service in August and was labelled a "security threat" - a label that she and the BBC deny.

The move comes during an unprecedented assault on rights and freedoms in Russia, where critics of the Kremlin are increasingly being labelled as "hostile agents" of the West.

$86M bus 'war room' empty, falling apart two years after MTA ribbon cutting
[NYPOST] The MTA spent $86 million on a state-of-the-art, NASA-like "bus command center" that has gone unused for more than two years because it’s already falling apart, The Post has learned.

Transit officials have said the eastern Brooklyn command center, which replaces a smaller facility across the street, will serve as a "war room" for bus dispatchers. But the building has sat empty since former Transit President Andy Byford and other big-wigs held a celebratory ribbon cutting there in June 2019.

With the building at Jamaica Avenue and Fanchon Place having suffered leaks, faulty heating and bug-infested bathrooms, dispatchers who are supposed to work there have refused to relocate from across the street, sources said.

The ribbon Byford cut with then-MTA Buses President Darryl Irick in 2019 said "grand opening," but dispatchers only started to move into the building last winter, sources said. That lasted only a few months because the heat did not work and the building’s electrical system couldn’t handle the worker’s space heaters.

"It’s falling apart. It had roof leaks. The place is empty and the employees refuse to work there," said one bus worker. "They have to put in electric heaters just to keep warm."

MTA officials have promised to hire additional dispatchers to fill the new command center’s massive theater, but photos obtained by The Post show the so-called "war room" empty — with the computers running and cable playing on the TVs.

"They’re keeping the heating and ventilation system running. They can’t let it freeze up. They’re paying thousands of dollars in cable bills with TVs on and no one’s there," said the source. "It’s a brand new building and it looks horrible."

"That place has been a mess since it started," said another worker, who shared photos of dropped ceilings, an infested bathroom and cracked glass in a section of the building meant to protect workers from chemical attacks.

The command center was initially supposed to cost $55 million and wrap up in 2017. Completion was ultimately kicked to June 2019 due to issues with the building’s drainage and sprinkler systems.

The building was constructed by MPCC Corp., a contracting company based in Westchester County.

A related project to upgrade the MTA’s bus radio system has been repeatedly delayed, in part due to "poor contractor quality/productivity," according to publicly available MTA board materials. Once slated to cost $283 million, the radio project cost has increased to $294 as of November 2020.

MTA rep Aaron Donovan said the command center is now set to open "in the first half of next year."

"The upgraded Bus Command Center is the first part of a complex project to improve service for bus customers by bringing our service management into the 21st century with a state-of-the-art bus radio system," Donovan said in a statement. "Like most of the capital program, the project was temporarily placed on pause during the pandemic."

U.S. Christian Missionaries Kidnapped in Haiti: 17 Adults and Children Taken
More on this story from yesterday.
[Breitbart] A group of 17 Christian missionaries including children was kidnapped late Saturday by an armed gang near Haiti’s Port-au-Prince, a voice message sent to various religious missions by an organization with direct knowledge of the incident has claimed.

The religious aid workers were on their way home from building an orphanage when they were snatched off their transportation by an armed gang, according to a message from Ohio-based Christian Aid Ministries.

"This is a special prayer alert," the one-minute message said, according to AP. "Pray that the gang members would come to repentance."

The message says the mission’s field director is working with the U.S. Embassy, and the field director’s family and one other unidentified man stayed at the ministry’s base while everyone else visited the orphanage.

#12  How little does this generation know about the was once the foundation of society in the U.S..

The Great Commission was a commandment Christ gave to Christians after He was brutally beaten, crucified and then pierced in the heart by a Roman spear. Three days later He was walking around as if nothing had happened. He had conquered death.

He then gave Christians the command to "go unto ALL NATIONS" to bring the world the good news, an effort called "The Great Commission".

While you say "Shocking! Well Toto, where did you think you were going, Zermatt, Grindelwald, Saint-Tropez ?" the organization these Missionaries belong to are asking their captors to turn to Christ just as the Missionaries were doing. And of course commenters bring up "money" the organization has "from US aid to Haiti". That money went into Hillary's pocket long ago. That money came from Christians across this once great nation who continue to support God's work financially.

And don't think you are secure from the unusually brutal Haitian criminal savage. They are now pouring across the U.S. border into your neighborhood at this very moment with many many thousands more on their way.

Why is that happening? Is it really Biden's fault? No. Of course not. It is God's Judgments against our now Godless nation. He raises ALL LEADERS based on His approval or disapproval of the people of that nation. They get who they deserve so Biden is his decision for the U.S..

Palestine welcomes efforts of preventing admission of Israel as AU observer member
[AlAhram] Paleostine late on Saturday welcomed the efforts to prevent the immediate accession of Israel as an observer state in the African Union
...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful...
(AU).

The AU Executive Council, which concluded its 39th ordinary session held in Addis Ababa for two days, decided on Friday to postpone taking a final position regarding granting Israel observer status in the union until the AU summit scheduled for February 2022.

In a press statement, the Paleostinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the move "would allow for developing an integrated plan of action starting from this moment until the convening of the summit to prevent Israel's accession a success."

Paleostinian President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase....
will participate in the summit and will make an extra effort with the leaders of those countries to prevent Israel from being accepted as an observer member in the union, it added.

"More than 24 member states were able to announce officially and in writing their opposition to the decision to accept Israel's accession, including Algeria, South Africa, Nigeria, Namibia, Gambia
... The Gambia is actually surrounded by The Senegal on all sides but its west coast. It has a population of about 1.7 million. The difference between the two is that in colonial days Senegal was ruled by La Belle France and The Gambia (so-called because there's only one of it, unlike Guinea, of which there are the Republic of Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, New Guinea, the English coin in circulation between 1663 and 1813, and Guyana, which sounds like it should be another one) was ruled by Britain...
, and many other countries," the statement said.

"These countries, which back the Paleostinian position and support the Paleostinian rights, insist on preventing Israel's accession," it added.

Israel announced on July 22 that it had joined the AU as an observer state after being kept out for two decades, according to Israeli media.

Israel previously held observer status at the predecessor Organization of African Unity until 2002, when the organization was dissolved and became the AU.

Hamas terrorist group sentenced two Palestinians from Gaza and Rafah to death by hanging for collaborating with Israel
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

The Times of Israel adds:
A Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, court ordered that the two men, from Khan Younis and Rafah in the southern Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip, be hanged.

Reports did not say when the sentence will be carried out.

Two other men were sentenced to hard labor, also for collaborating with Israel.

The sentences came as a Paleostinian Authority court in the West Bank city of Bethlehem sentenced a man to 15 years in prison for attempting to sell land to Jewish Israelis.

Under Paleostinian Authority law, selling land to Jews can be a capital offense.

Hamas authorities have held public executions in the past of those it accuses of collaborating with Israel.

The terror group, which says it seeks to destroy Israel, has controlled Gaza since 2007, when it ousted the Fatah-dominated PA from the territory.

The PA, based in the West Bank, has long criticized rivals Hamas for carrying out executions without the approval of PA President the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas
...aka Abu Mazen, a graduate of the prestigious unaccredited Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow with a doctorate in Holocaust Denial. While no Yasser Arafat, he has his own brand of evil, just a little more lowercase....
. According to Paleostinian law, the PA president must approve the enforcement of any death sentence
...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead...
. Since 2006, Abbas has not given his official blessing for the implementation of a single execution.

According to B’Tselem, an Israeli human rights
...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty...
group, Hamas has sentenced 130 people to death since 2007 and has executed 25 people. With the two fresh sentences, Hamas has sentenced seven people to death this year, figures show.

The PA has not executed anyone since 2005, when five people were put to death.

'Let's Go Brandon!' Song Soars to 1 on iTunes
[BREITBART] The viral ’Let’s Go Brandon!’ mass take down of President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created ... by the — you know — you know, the thing...
has inspired a unique rap version that on Sunday perched squarely at the top of the iTunes hip-hop chart.

Fox News reported the song, performed by rapper Loza Alexander and titled "Let’s Go Brandon," first went viral on TikTok before quickly joining the iTunes hip-hop chart to clinch the number one spot.

The piece was inspired by the "Let’s Go Brandon!" trend sweeping the country since NBC sports news hound Kelli Stavast interviewed NASCAR driver Brandon Brown after his victory at Alabama’s Talladega Superspeedway earlier this month.

As Breitbart News reported, the crowd could be heard chanting in the background during the interview "F— Joe Biden" which Stavast claims to have misheard as "Let’s Go Brandon!"

"Brandon, you also told me," Stavast said before being interrupted by the crowd. "As you can hear the chants from the crowd..." she added, before claiming the crowd was saying, "’Let’s Go, Brandon!’"

The exchange quickly went viral on social media, with some users speculating the news hound intentionally attempted to mischaracterize the crowd’s chanting to spare her blushes and those of the interviewee.

From there the phrase became a catch cry for opponents of the president, finding its way onto merchandise while others began chanting it at sporting events, with a child at NAPA’s Super DIRT Week at the Oswego Speedway even exclaiming, "let’s go Brandon!" when asked by an announcer to "help kick this thing off."

Now the hip hop version rules the iTunes charts.

In the days since the mocking chant was first heard, neither NBC nor Stavast has commented on Stavast’s false claim about the NASCAR crowd.

Elsewhere the establishment media has also played its part in seeking to protect the president from the predations of public opinion.

Migrant found dead on boat in Spain's Canary Islands
[AlAhram] The body of a man was found dead on a boat carrying 44 other migrants colonists that arrived Sunday at Spain's Gran Canaria island after a week at sea, Spain's coastguard said.

A rescue operation was launched after the vessel was spotted as it neared Anfi del Mar beach on the south of the holiday island, a coastguard spokeswoman said.

The 44 migrants colonists who arrived alive received medical attention and were then taken to the nearby port of Arguineguin to be processed, she added.

All of the migrants colonists were males, many of them minors, from the Maghreb region of North Africa. The boat is believed to have departed from Morocco.

Separately, the coastguard recovered the body of another migrant off Spain's southern coast on Sunday, but others 16 were still missing.

The latest discovery brings to nine the number of bodies found after a boat carrying migrants colonists that had been spotted west of Spain's Cape Trafalgar sank on Thursday.

Two men were found alive on board the boat while a woman was rescued from the water.

Meanwhile,
...back at the pond, Gloria slowly backed away from the eight-foot bull frog. If the creature croaked she would surely be deafened...
the coastguard also rescued 16 vessels off the Balearic Isles in the Mediterranean on Sunday, pulling 203 people -- including eight women -- to safety, the government delegation in the archipelago said.

Spain is one of the major gateways for migrants colonists departing from North Africa and seeking a better life in Europe.

More than 27,000 migrants colonists arrived by sea in continental Spain and the Balearic and Canary Islands between January and the end of September, a 54 percent increase over the same period in 2020, according interior ministry figures.

The sea route to Spain is fraught with danger. The International Organization for Migration says at least 1,025 people have died in 2021, already "the deadliest year on the migratory route to Spain".

The strikes "destroyed 10 military vehicles and killed more than 165" rebels in the past 24 hours in the Abdiya district, the coalition said in a statement cited by the official Saudi Press Agency.

The coalition has said it has killed around 1,000 Iran-backed rebels in strikes in the area in the past week, making daily announcements of at least dozens of rebel deaths.

The Houthi rarely comment on losses and the tolls could not be independently verified by AFP.

The Huthis began a major push to seize Marib, the internationally recognised government's last bastion in oil-rich northern Yemen, in February, and have renewed their offensive in recent weeks after a lull.

The Houthis said on Twitter Sunday that they had taken control of several fronts around Marib, including Abdiya, which lies about 100 kilometres (60 miles) south of the city.

Taliban pledge to man security of Shi’ite mosques against ISIS promise to attack
Promising is easy. Getting takfiri turbans whose education at best consists of memorizing the Koran to treat those who believe slightly differently than they were taught as if they’re humans deserving of respect is something else altogether.
[KhaamaPress] A day after ISIS-K killed and maimed over a hundred Shi’ite worshipers in Kandahar province, a Taliban
...Arabic for students...
official has said that they themselves will man securities of these mosques.

In the meantime, the commander of police (Taliban fighters) of Kandahar province Abdul Ghafar Muhammadi has said that he will deploy more forces to protect Shi’ite mosques in the province.

Abdul Ghafar Muhammadi said that his forces will be working alongside the local volunteers to ensure the security of the mosques.

Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
on Saturday, October 16 in a statement warned that they will continue targeting Shi’ite Moslems in Afghanistan and accused them of supporting Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
and other countries against the fighters.

Shi’ite Muslims to be targeted everywhere: warns ISIS

[KhaamaPress] Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) or ISIS in a statement said that Shi’ite Moslems are perilous and they will be targeted by them everywhere.

The group’s al-Naba weekly has published the warning and furthers reads that the Shi’ite will be targeted in their homes and centers.

The alert comes a day after the bully boy group targeted a mosque of the Moslems and killed over 60 worshipers while wounding more than 80 more in Kandahar province.

The writing has especially threatened Shi’ite Moslems living in Afghanistan and added that they cooperate and support Iran and other countries against the ISIS-K.

Thy group has said that Shi’ite Moslems will be target everywhere from Baghdad to Khorasan.

ISIS Khorasan branch is now the biggest threat that threatens the Taliban government after they took over Afghanistan.

In the meantime, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has purportedly said that their fighters will be deployed to man the security of mosques, especially of the Shi’ite Moslems’ ones.

Russian President Vladimir Putin
...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances...
had warned of entering ISIS fighters to Afghanistan from Iraq and Syrian and added that there are presently up to 2,000 ISIS affiliates in the north of Afghanistan.

China-Japan-Koreas
China's frightening test of new hypersonic weapon: ‘We have no idea how they did this'
[AmericanThinker]The Financial Times has published a scoop that should frighten every American and which casts further doubt on the competence and capability of our military leadership. China has demonstrated an attack weapon well beyond our capabilities, defense against which would be difficult if not impossible.

China tested a nuclear-capable hypersonic missile in August that circled the globe before speeding towards its target, demonstrating an advanced space capability that caught US intelligence by surprise.

Five people familiar with the test said the Chinese military launched a rocket that carried a hypersonic glide vehicle which flew through low-orbit space before cruising down towards its target.

The missile missed its target by about two-dozen miles, according to three people briefed on the intelligence. But two said the test showed that China had made astounding progress on hypersonic weapons and was far more advanced than US officials realised.

The test has raised new questions about why the US often underestimated China’s military modernisation.

"We have no idea how they did this," said a fourth person.

As readers of this website already know, the senior leadership of the United States military is obsessed with:
  • Critical race theory, diving troops along racial lines and devastating morale.

  • Transgenderism, squandering the defense budget on free (and very expensive) "gender reassignment" surgery for anyone who joins the military.

  • Integrating "birthing people" into every military function, including flight suits for pregnant pilots.

  • Vaccination mandates, which could drive out large numbers of skilled service members, not to mention irreplaceable scientists, critically weakening force effectiveness.

Meanwhile, our military reportedly has been shocked by how far China has gotten ahead of us in space-based, nuclear-capable hypersonic gliders that, unlike missiles, can maneuver as the zero in on their targets, making missile defense far less effective if not impossible.

"Hypersonic glide vehicles . . . fly at lower trajectories and can manoeuvre in flight, which makes them hard to track and destroy," said Fravel, a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Our military’s ideological corruption and focus on investing in at-best-irrelevant and at-worst-harmful initiatives surely must remind many Chinese leaders of their own history that proved disastrous in the late nineteenth century. At the time, Japan was aggressively modernizing and building up its military capacity, including a very capable navy. In response, a visionary bigwig Li Hongzhang, created a Northern Fleet, purchasing 2 German battleships with 12 inch Krupp guns and 14 inch armor. But further work was starved of funds because the Empress Dowager Cixi wished to restore the Summer Palace northwest of Beijing for her retirement, and redirected the money to work there, notoriously including the 1893 reconstruction of a marble boat in a lake on the palace grounds.

In order to conceal the misappropriation of funds, the Imperial Household Department, with the necessary (and probably coerced) cooperation of Li Hongzhang, reported the expenditures as "naval funds." Just like "gender reassignment surgery" is a "defense expenditure."

The rest, as the saying goes, is history. A year-and-a-half later, on July 25, 1894, the Japanese Navy attacked China’s fleet and sank 2 ships, launching the First Sino-Japanese War. After 6 months of naval and land warfare, China sued for peace and, among other things, handed over Taiwan and Korea to Japan.

Now, China wants Taiwan back, and don’t for a second think that they have forgotten how they lost it in the first place, by squandering funds that should have been used for advanced weapons on useless baubles, of interest mostly to corrupt, decadent, and cowardly rulers.

'It is inevitable that China will take an upper hand over the US': Chinese state media celebrates new nuclear-capable 21,000mph missile that can circle Earth in low orbit before striking anywhere from space in MINUTES

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Report from Financial Times said test showed China had made 'astounding progress' on hypersonic weapons

  • Hypersonic missile launched in August, circled the globe at low orbit and missed target by two dozen miles

  • US intelligence was caught off guard as US is one of eight nations developing their own hypersonic missiles

  • An op-ed in Chinese state media said the test shows the 'unstoppable trend that China is narrowing the gap with the US in some key military technologies'

#1  It's not a very big step up from the existing X-37B to something that can dispense multiple hypersonic glide vehicles from orbit and return to Earth to be re-loaded. As Dr. Strangelove said, "It requires only the will to do so."

Whoopsie! China broke in, got the names of all the CIA's agents, and executed them one by one. Some in front of their horrified co-workers. How are they gonna recruit more spies, now that everyone knows what happens to traitors, and how easy it is to get caught because the CIA doesn't take the safety of its agents seriously?

-Land of the Free
The Greatest Beer Run Ever...
[B&N] In 1967, a former U.S. Marine named John "Chick" Donohue snuck into Vietnam to find his buddies serving in the war and bring them beer and bear hugs from back home. It would be called "The Greatest Beer Run Ever" and it is now being filmed for Skydance by Oscar winner Peter Farrelly, starring Zac Efron as Chick.

Who put the idea in Chick’s head? "The Colonel," Chick says. "George E. Lynch. He was the bartender at Doc Fiddler’s in Inwood and he was a holy man. He was a very patriotic individual."

Twenty-eight boys from Inwood would be killed in Vietnam — and most people in the neighborhood would attend their funerals, whether they had known the boys or not. "I’m gonna get on one of those ships that goes to Vietnam," the Colonel asserted, "and I’m gonna bring all the guys over there from the neighborhood a drink."

"I looked in the Colonel’s eyes to see if he could possibly be serious," thought Chick. "Oh, he was."

And though it would be Chick who endeavored on this epic journey, the Colonel supported the troops in other ways.

Kathleen "Sissy" O’Sullivan, who edited a neighborhood newsletter for the boys, and is now making a documentary about their lifelong bonds, recalls The Colonel’s unique contributions. In the envelopes with their newsletters, GIs would find flat sticks of gum with a bonus ingredient: they had been soaked in whiskey sours or gin and tonics, and dried so no military mail inspector would discover it.

On St. Patrick’s Day, the Colonel found an even larger surface. As O’Sullivan wrote then, "The management of Doc Fiddler’s wanted to send each and every one of you a bottle of scotch, but it wouldn’t fit in the envelope. So [the Colonel] did the next best thing — he soaked the enclosed coaster" with whiskey, dried it out, with orders to the troops to suck on the coasters

The Colonel had a flagpole outside the bar as big as the one outside City Hall, Chick recalls. He also organized a parade contingent of 600 people to march from Inwood to midtown for the Loyalty Day parade on May 13, 1967. [See photo.] While it didn’t get the press coverage the anti-war marches and moratoriums did, it gathered 250,000 people and lasted for eight hours. "I began to see that the protestors were at least trying to stop the madness," Chick says. "But they weren’t acknowledging that so many of the young men were doing what they truly believed was their duty to their country." It was partly a class issue, since many of these working-class boys were drafted, and couldn’t get a college deferment, or a single note from the right doctor.

"We knew we were the lucky ones," Sissy O’Sullivan recently recalled. "As girls, we couldn’t get drafted. We were going to funerals every month. When our guys left for Vietnam, we were heartbroken for them."

What she and other young Inwood women were determined to do was give them a sense of home and normalcy in the jungle with news from the neighborhood. Engagement announcements, usually three a month, weddings — sometimes as many as eight — babies born, announcements of soldiers’ return home.

Buttigieg: Supply Chain Problems Exist Because Biden Guided U.S. Out of Recession
[BREITBART] Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg
...the testicleless mayor of South Bend, Indiana, since 2012. Buttigieg graduated from Harvard College and, on a Rhodes Scholarship, from Pembroke College, Oxford. From 2007 to 2010, he worked at McKinsey and Company, a consulting firm. From 2009 to 2017 Buttigieg served as an intelligence officer in the United States Navy Reserve, attaining the rank of lieutenant and deploying to Afghanistan in 2014. Buttigieg was first elected mayor of South Bend in 2011 and was reelected in 2015. During his second term, he announced he was gay, which surprised no one. Buttigieg also campaigned for Indiana state treasurer in 2010 and for chair of the Democratic National Committee in 2017, losing both elections. He ran for the Dem nomination in 2020 on the theory that being mayor of a nondescript medium sized city is qualification to run the country. He lost that one too...
said Sunday on CNN
...the organization formerly known as the Cable News Network. Now who knows what it might stand for...
’s "State of the Union" that the supply chain backups at America’s ports were a product of President Joe The Big Guy Biden

guiding the economy "out of the teeth of a terrifying recession," which caused incomes and demand to rise.Anchor Jake Tapper said, "We are seeing supply chain disruption causing everything from higher prices to longer waits for products. Moody’s warns that these supply chain disruptions, quote, ’will get worse before they get better, ’ unquote. do Americans need to prepare ourselves for this to get worse before it gets better?"

Buttigieg said, "Certainly, a lot of the challenges that we have been experiencing this year will continue into next year. But there are both short-term and long-term steps that we can take to do something about it. Part of what’s happening isn’t just the supply side. It’s the demand side. Demand is off the charts. Retail sales are through the roof. If you think about those images of ships, for example, waiting at anchor on the west coast, every one of those ships is full of record amounts of goods that Americans are buying, because demand is up, because income is up, because the president has successfully guided this economy out of the teeth of a terrifying recession. Now the issue is, even though our ports are handling more than they ever have, record amounts of goods coming through, our supply chains can’t keep up. Of course, our supply chains — that’s a complicated system that is mostly in private hands and rightly so. Our role is to be an honest broker, bring together all of the players, secure commitments, and get solutions that will make it easier."

congenital liar 🤥 pathological liar 🤥 and more

A congenital characteristic or feature in a person is so strong that you cannot imagine it ever changing, although there may seem to be no reason for it

A pathological liar is someone who lies to get his way. They are manipulative, crafty, and usually have a goal in mind when they lie. They have no concern for the feelings of others, even of those people who are close to them.

Compulsive liars lie for many different reasons. Unlike the pathological liar, compulsive liars are easier to figure out. Their stories don’t usually have a ring of truth to them. They also display obvious lying behaviors, such as breaking out into a sweat, avoiding eye contact, rambling or tripping over their words.

Some types of compulsive liar personality disorder are the habitual liar and the narcissistic liar. Habitual liars are people who lie all the time. In fact, lying has become a habit.

Remember if you are a Democrat....Vote early and vote often !

Generally a tongue-in-cheek phrase used in relation to elections and the voting process. Though rarely considered a serious suggestion, the phrase theoretically encourages corrupt electoral activity, but is used mostly to suggest the occurrence of such corruption. (See Election 2020)

The phrase had its origins in the United States in the mid-19th century, and had an early appearance in Britain when a newspaper reprinted correspondence from an American solicitor. The phrase, however, did not find widespread use until the early 1900s when it was used in relation to the activities of organized crime figures in Chicago.

36 prisoners sent to Dagestan after a riot in the Vladikavkaz colony
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] A group of the most active participants in the riots in the Vladikavkaz colony was taken to a correctional facility in Dagestan.

As "Caucasian Knot" wrote , on October 15, riots broke out in a strict regime colony in North Ossetia, accompanied by a fire. The Federal Penitentiary Service claims that two prisoners from the punishment cell during the searches refused to obey the demands of the employees of the institution and called on other prisoners to riot.

Investigators opened a criminal case on organizing and participating in the riots. According to their version, in the correctional colony, at least two hundred prisoners took part in the riot in the colony. The riots in the maximum security penal colony took place a week after the appointment of a new head of the FSIN in North Ossetia, which toughened up the treatment of prisoners, the sources said.

Prisoners told the anti-torture hotline in places of detention that beatings preceded the riot. They achieved a meeting  with the human rights ombudsman in the republic. The Ombudsman said that earlier prisoners of this colony went on a hunger strike, protesting against the tightening of discipline, and that there were many infrastructure problems in the institution.

The prisoners were divided into several groups. A total of 36 of the most active participants in the riot were rushed to a maximum security colony in Dagestan, Osnova reported on October 16.

Initially, it was planned to send them to Chechnya, but at the last moment this decision was changed, the Baza Telegram channel reported.

In total, they plan to send 150 people to different regions, the report says.

There are no messages from the sending of part of the prisoners to the colony in Dagestan as of 7.00 Moscow time today on the website of the Federal Penitentiary Service for North Ossetia.

Two non-locals shot dead, another injured in south Kashmir's Kulgam
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

Two non-local labourers were killed and another injured after being fired upon by Lions of Islam in Wanpoh area of south Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
's Kulgam district on Sunday evening.

The attack comes a day after two non-locals were rubbed out in Srinagar and Pulwama. There has been a spike in the murders of non-locals in the valley of late. On October 5, Virendra Paswan, a non-local vendor from Bihar was rubbed out in Srinagar besides renowned Kashmiri Pandit chemist Makhan Lal Bindroo while Mohammad Shafi Lone, president of the local cab drivers' association in Naidkhai was killed in Shahgund Hajin area of Bandipora district.
One India adds:
Faced with killings of two more non-locals, the Jammu and Kashmir Police has asked all its district chiefs to gather non-resident labourers and bring them to the nearest security camps "immediately", officials said on Sunday.

The move comes after terrorists gunned down two labourers and critically wounded another one in Kulgam in South Kashmir on Sunday evening.

Bhata Dhurian encounter Trapped group in area for around 2 months — are Pak troops among them?
[GREATERKASHMIR] Police on Saturday said that the bad boy group trapped in Bhata Dhurian encounter had been there in the general area of Rajouri and Poonch for around two months with security grid trying to track their footprints. In an interaction with media person, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Rajouri-Poonch range, Vivek Gupta said that ongoing anti militancy operation, going on in Bhata Dhurian, was being carried out as per the practice and efforts were being made to neutralize the bad boys.

"The security grid was following the footprints of these bad boy group or groups," said DIG.

He said that the ongoing encounter in Bhata Dhurian was going on in dense forest cover and forces were conducting the operation cautiously keeping in view difficult topography.

Meanwhile,
...back at the buffalo wallow, Yellow Wolf clutched at his chest and fell from his horse...
officials said that tough terrain, ridges, dense forest of pine trees were making tough the anti militancy operation in Bhata Dhurian village area of Mendhar.

As aerial surveillance of operation site continued on Saturday the army also put into use heavy weaponry to eliminate bad boys, hiding in dense forests.

The operation in dense forest of Bhata Dhurian started on Thursday afternoon in which exchange of fire took place in evening in which two army personnel were killed.

Since Thursday, the intermittent exchange of fire took place multiple times in the area while the operation continued.

Officials said that the hilly terrain and dense forest cover in the area were making this operation too difficult. "There is dense pine tree forest in the area where encounter is going on and it is making this operation difficult," they added.

Besides, they said, tough terrains and forest ridges in the area were also adding to the degrees of difficulties in conducting this operation.

They added that through aerial vehicles, surveillance over encounter site was being made.

Battle at Poonch: Are Pak army soldiers fighting along side the terrorists

[OneIndia] Nine soldiers including two Junior Commissioned Officers have been martyred in the fighting with bully boyz since Monday. A deadly shootout has been on between the security forces and a group of bully boyz in the jungles of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain.
The battle has been on for 8 days and looking at the manner in which the events have turned out, officials suspect that some soldiers from the Pakistain Army could have infiltrated the jungles and are aiding the bully boyz in their fight.

Sources tell OneIndia that the battle has been so intense and has lasted a week because of the training these bully boyz have been imparted with. The role of the Pakistain Army in this operation cannot be ruled out, the source also said. The manner in which the battle is being fought clearly indicates that there are professionals involved in it and hence the role of the Pakistain Army cannot be ruled out an official also pointed out.

The battle continues despite a massive combing operation, intense shelling and a heavy cordon along the 9 kilometre stretch of the forests. On October 10, when the battle began, five soldiers including a JCO were martyred in the Dera Wali Gali area of Poonch close to the Line of Control.

The soldiers of the Indian Army came under intense fire when a group went searching for the bully boyz on Thursday. Two soldiers and two more including a JCO went missing. The Army managed to recover the bodies after an extremely tough operation.

While it is hard to confirm the presence of the Pakistain Army soldiers, officials say that the picture would become clear once all the bully boyz are gunned own. The Army's para commandos have managed to corner the bully boyz into one area and there is a likelihood of the operation getting over soon. The top priority for the Indian Army would be to ensure that there are no more casualties and hence the operation hence forth may drag a bit, but an official confirms that the end is near for the entire group of bully boyz involved in this operation.

Government Corruption
Loudoun County prosecutor who sought to jail father of girl allegedly raped at school tied to Soros, McAuliffe
[FOXNEWS] The Loudoun County prosecutor who sought jail time against a father who was arrested at a school board meeting after his daughter was allegedly sexually assaulted in a school bathroom has ties to progressive megadonor George Soros
...either Ernst Stavro Blofeld or Auric Goldfinger come true...
and Democratic Virginia gubernatorial nominee Terry McAuliffe.Loudoun County Commonwealth's Attorney Buta Biberaj
...born in Montenegro of Albanian parents then reared in the Bronx, she’s one of the stable of Soros prosecutors...
was described in the explosive report by The Daily Wire as the "progressive" elected county prosecutor who ran on a platform of ending "mass incarceration," but yet she sought jail time for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, both misdemeanor charges, against Scott Smith.

Smith was arrested during a June 22 school board meeting several weeks after he says his daughter was raped by a gender-fluid student in a school bathroom. The student, a 15-year-old boy, was charged in that case with two counts of forcible sodomy and later arrested. He was then fitted with an ankle monitor and transferred to another school in Ashburn, where he was accused of committing another sexual assault against another female student in October.

Biberaj told Fox 5 on Friday the decision to transfer the student to a different school came because he didn’t have a prior history of such behavior at the time, and she asked the public to "be patient" and refrain from judgment until "all the facts" in the case come to light.

Meanwhile,
...back at the desert island, Bert climbed the cocoanut tree, looking for ships. He saw none. He looked in the other direction and saw Irene, vigorously scrubbing her backside...
Smith’s attorney has announced plans to sue the school district over its handling of the case and his own arrest at the school board meeting. He was sentenced in that case to 10 days in jail, all suspended, contingent on a year of good behavior.

According to The Daily Wire, Biberaj appeared in court to personally prosecute Smith, despite knowing the details of the case involving his daughter. Smith’s attorney Elizabeth Lancaster told the outlet that she’s known Biberaj for "years" and was shocked when the charges against Smith weren’t dropped.

"The idea that they would actually be seeking jail time, I’d guess in my 15 years the number of times I’ve seen that happen would be zero," Lancaster said. "The idea that this is a person who we need to put in a cage was astounding to me given the social justice reform she was pushing. I was blown away."

The Daily Wire’s article appears to suggest Biberaj motives for prosecuting the case are political, claiming she is "known for leniency and alternatives to incarceration" in other cases. She came under fire earlier this month for dismissing of hundreds of domestic violence cases after an accused wife-beater out on bond allegedly murdered his wife with a hammer. An advocacy group called Virginians for Safe Communities is leading a recall effort against Biberaj because of that case, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

Biberaj did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
Fox News adds:
Biberaj was one of several Soros-backed prosecutors elected in Northern Virginia in 2019 after her campaign received more than $860,000 from Soros' Justice and Public Safety PAC. She is a criminal reform advocate and member of a group of the commonwealth’s attorneys called Virginia Progressive Prosecutors for Justice, which calls for eliminating mandatory minimum sentences and cash bail.

Biberaj is also a close ally with McAuliffe, who reportedly accepted a $250,000 contribution from Soros for his campaign in August. Biberaj, who has praised McAulliffe as being "part of the progress" that Virginia needs, joined the former Democratic governor as recently as Oct. 2 at a campaign event in Leesburg.

Withdrawing French troops, Macron gives Mali to Russian mercenaries
Here’s hoping the Russians can clear the infection.
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[INOSMI] France began to gradually withdraw its contingent from military bases in northern Mali. This withdrawal decision spoiled France's relations with its former colony and opened doors for Russian mercenaries.

While Paris will continue to provide air support for the Malian military in their fight against insurgent forces in western Africa, it will close three of its bases and cut its 5,100 troops by almost half. Now the European allies will support the Malian military in battles.

“The idea is not to create a vacuum. The idea is to shift responsibility for these areas to the Malian state, ”said General Etienne du Peyroux, one of the commanders of the French forces in Operation Barchan. "To avoid the risk of being stuck in this conflict, we need to respond in more than just a military manner."

Operation Barkhan began in 2013 after the Islamists seized control of northern Mali. But the French contingent, as well as the UN peacekeeping mission of 13,000 troops, failed to achieve significant success, and the intensity of conflicts in Mali increased. As a result, large swaths of territory fell into the hands of militants, and instability spilled over the border into neighboring Burkina Faso and Niger.

The Sahel, a large arid region south of the Sahara, has emerged as a new arena for the fight against Islamic fundamentalism since the collapse of the Gaddafi regime a decade ago. A number of jihadist groups have settled in Mali, where instability has become a key driver of population migration to Europe. France suspended military engagement with the Malian military in June after the country suffered a second coup d'état in less than a year.

Hamidou Cissé of the Mali patriotic movement was delighted to hear of the French dwindling contingent. “After their arrival, we thought we would have peace. If they leave today, in six months or a year, we will suffer. But it is better to suffer than to remain in their hands forever, ”he said.

After President Macron announced the withdrawal in July, tensions between Paris and his former colony began to grow. Reports have surfaced that the military leadership in Bamako will use a Kremlin-affiliated private military company to fill the vacuum French troops are leaving behind.

France and Germany, whose military are involved in the anti-terrorist operation of the UN and the European Union, warned that any agreement in the Wagner Group would call into question their continued participation in this operation. Russia has no hesitation in capitalizing on instability in the more fragile African states, reviving its Soviet-style influence there. Fighters from Wagner's private military company are present in dozens of countries on this continent.

These countries have insurgencies because their corrupt elites steal their people's money. If they weren't thieves, there would be no grievance and jihadist groups would die on the vine. Military isn't the solution to this problem.

Granholm Grants Interview to Dem Megadonor Donald Sussman's Daughter

in the White House.

Granholm sat down for an interview last week with Emily Tisch Sussman, the daughter of liberal hedge fund manager Donald Sussman. The liberal financier spent more than nearly anyone in support of Biden's presidential campaign, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, donating more than $23 million in support of Democratic candidates and Red Guards liberal groups during the 2020 cycle alone.

Granholm's interview with Emily Tisch Sussman, hosted by beauty magazine Marie Claire, briefly touched on the secretary's role in the administration but then shifted to the importance of electing progressive Democrats to get through Biden's spending agenda.

"First of all, not to be partisan, but I am part of a Democratic administration, and fortunately we have just bare, but we do have majorities in the House and Senate," Granholm said. "We've got to get this stuff through."

Sussman, whose father runs a hedge fund with billions of assets under management, stressed the importance of strengthening the government social net, noting how hard it is for her generation to get by. "So many of us are in the sandwich generation, taking care of our kids, taking care of our parents," she said.

State Duma wants to ban unmarried Russian women from traveling to Turkey
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Rusvesna] State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov said on the air of the radio station "Moscow Says" that unmarried Russian women should not go on vacation to Turkey.

According to him, local men are "famous" for not the best behavior and are constantly trying to "give women drunk with alcohol."

"Very often there is a problem that many Russian girls do not understand at all when they succumb to the courtship of Turkish seducers. They sing songs about great love, and then the child turns out to be the property of this Turkish pasha, and the mother is completely disenfranchised," the deputy said, adding that there are "a lot of such complaints" so unmarried Russian women should be banned from traveling to Turkey.

Earlier, Milonov proposed to deprive the pension of Russians involved in collection activities. According to him, "you need to be a complete bastard and a scoundrel to call mothers and threaten them."

In his opinion, such people should be prohibited from calling themselves citizens.
This proposal, so to speak, could be from an American reality TV show involving a young Russian woman and an American man from Utah, meeting in Turkey.

According to the Islamic Theocratic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the country’s Customs Administration's front man Roohollah Latifi said that Saudi Arabia has "rejoined" the list of countries to which Iran exports. He added that in the first half of the Iranian calendar year, which starts March 21, they have exported a total of $22.5 billion worth of goods to 15 countries, IRNA reported.

Iran last week expressed readiness to resume exports to Saudi Arabia provided that bilateral tensions wane, the state-run Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA) reported, adding that exports between Tehran and Riyadh "stopped" as tensions had escalated in recent years.

An Iranian official said in October of last year that exports to Saudi Arabia had reached "zero" in 2020.

Nine suspects in Krasnoyarsk will go to prison for drug trafficking
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[REGNUM] In Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, a verdict was passed on Nine members of a criminal group on charges of illegal drug trade. As a REGNUM correspondent was told in the press service of the regional prosecutor's office, seven residents of Kansk and two Achintsy were among the defendants.

According to the department, from November 2016 to June 2017, the organizer of the group, who is serving a sentence in a colony, opened online stores for the contactless sale of synthetic drugs. He attracted the rest of the defendants to illegal activities via the Internet.

A man bought large quantities of a prohibited substance from an unidentified person, which was then taken by his accomplices from hiding places, and packed into smaller quantities to create "bookmarks."

"During the indicated period of time, the defendants tried to sell a narcotic drug with a total weight of more than 1 kg, but their criminal activities were suppressed by law enforcement officers," the prosecutor's office said.

Following the results of the proceedings, the court found the accused guilty. The organizer, who is still in prison, was sentenced to 12 years in a special regime colony. The rest were sentenced to seven to nine years in a maximum security colony, depending on the role and degree of participation in the activities of the organized criminal group.

Biden Touts Police Reform While Mobs Run Wild in Portland
[PJMEDIA] Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S., father of Hunter. He blames Trump for losing Afghanistan....
commemorated coppers who had bit the dust in the line of duty in 2019 and 2020 in a speech at the Capitol building on Saturday. "There’s too much pain. There’s too much loss. There’s too much at stake for your safety and the safety of those you serve," Biden said at the National Peace Officers’ annual memorial service. There’s also too much interference by politicians for the police to do an effective job. And there’s too little support by Democratic politicians of the police forces that keep their cities from blowing up.

There’s a clear disconnect between what Biden was saying about the heroism of police and the fact that he and other politicians have abandoned them.

Washington Post:

The 2020 killing of St. George Floyd
...the patron saint of Minneapolis, a sterling example for our children and indeed for us all. St. George was martyed by the Devil's agents in blue while standing on a street corner preaching tolerance and racial justice or something like that...
by a Minneapolis police officer brought millions into the streets to call for police reform and a dismantling of systemic racism
...the idea that the nation is racist to the core, always was, and always will be. 330 million Americans live in Selma, Alabama in 1965, and we're never, ever leaving...
. "Defund the police" became a rallying cry for some and a source of derision for others. The polarization was exacerbated as violent mostly peaceful crime ticked up in American cities and local leaders looked to police to curb the violence.

Floyd’s family spoke at the 2020 Democratic National Convention, where Biden was nominated. And as president, Biden invited the Floyds to a White House meeting on the anniversary of his killing.

Biden said nothing about the way that Floyd’s murder while in police custody was used by politicians and activists — including radical revolutionaries — to portray all police as being guilty of racism and "targeting" black people for death. The white-hot anti-police rhetoric by Black Lives Matter has directly led to the deaths of several coppersbumped off for the simple reason that they wore blue.

Most recently, a Houston, Texas, deputy constable working a "police-related extra job" was shot and killed while two other constables were maimed in what authorities say was an "ambush" shooting.

Residents of two villages in Donetsk were left without electricity due to shelling
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

No casualties were reported.

Lawrence Jones blasts Biden admin over border catastrophe: 'Get down here and do your job!'
[BIZPACREVIEW] ’Fox & Friends" news hound Lawrence Jones described what is going on at the U.S. border involving the danger the cartels pose to the National Guard while bluntly telling the Biden administration (aka the Wilmington comorra)
...the collection of boodlers, grifters, hangers-on, and self-proclaimed experts affiliated with the Biden Crime Family. Entrusted with an entire nation as the result of a suspicious election, they set about happily implementing stuff they absorbed in college, all of which blew up and splattered the rest of us...
to "get down here and do your job."The Texas Department of Public Safety is reporting that suspected cartel members were taunting Texas National Guard troops and firing shots across the border at them in Roma, Texas this week, according to Fox News. Lawrence Jones was on the ground with Texas officials getting a firsthand look at what was transpiring there.

"It was rough out there when it comes to what these National Guardsmen are dealing with as well the troopers on the ground," Jones stated. "We can’t confirm they are part of the cartel, we just know the cartel works with these people."

"They were taunting... this was about a week ago when they were taunting the National Guardsmen. Yesterday, around noon, they fired off two shots at the National Guard. So, the governor has the Texas Rangers investigating the situation," he reported.

"When I talk to my sources, they put it very simply. During the Trump administration, they were going on the offense. Really going after the cartel. They made some headway. Of course, the drugs were still pouring in, but the cartels were in a defensive posture. Since Biden has been in office, they’ve gotten a little bold. They’re firing shots," Jones noted.

"Now, technically you would think that America, the United States would go on the offense when that happens. They’re not. And so Texas is left to investigate," Jones remarked while stating that the investigation stops at the border and does not continue into Mexico where the shots were fired from.

"We got our guys being shot at now and Biden and Kamala are nowhere to be found on this issue," he asserted.

Jones pointed out the cartels own the border currently because it’s not just drugs they are smuggling, it’s human trafficking as well. He claims the cartels are winning this fight.

After asking where the money is going to keep coming from to continue this fight and pointing out that Texas is footing the entire bill, Jones turned directly to the Biden administration over the issue.

He contended that Biden doesn’t want Texas to succeed at stopping illegal aliens from coming over the border.

"They don’t want Texas to be able to conduct these arrests at the border. They say this is a federal issue. You’re right, it is a federal issue. So, get down here and do your job," Jones angrily stated.

#3  /\ I doubt they are issued ammo. If they are, the Rules of Engagment (ROE) might be quite interesting. If the National Guard were to return fire, the Pentagon would likely intervene and establish a Federal border zone or Federalize the Guard.

Texas continues to push the envelope. The cartels are pushing back.

This kak would be SO EASY to put a stop to, it sickens me.

Democrats face growing storm over IRS reporting provision
[THEHILL] Democrats are facing a firestorm of criticism over a proposal to increase the amount of bank account information reported to the IRS
...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies...
, posing a challenge as they craft their wide-ranging social spending bill. The proposal is a top priority of the Biden administration, the same old faces in slightly different places, the same old ideas, the same old graft
...the collection of boodlers, grifters, hangers-on, and self-proclaimed experts affiliated with the Biden Crime Family. Entrusted with an entire nation as the result of a suspicious election, they set about happily implementing stuff they absorbed in college, all of which blew up and splattered the rest of us...
, which argues it will help the IRS go after wealthy tax cheats.

But it has come under a barrage of attacks from banks and Republicans, who say it raises significant privacy concerns. Financial institutions have been mobilizing their customers to speak out against the proposal to politicians.

Congressional Democrats are expected to make changes to the administration’s initial proposal, but are generally supportive of the idea. The increasing attacks on the proposal has prompted politicians and administration officials to go on the defensive.

"Ultimately, the President’s proposal seeks to pare back tax evasion by shedding some light on opaque sources of income that accrue disproportionately to the top 1 percent of earners," Natasha Sarin, deputy assistant secretary for economic policy at the Treasury Department, wrote Thursday in a post on the department’s website.

"As such, it is unsurprising that substantial resources are being deployed to defeat these efforts, because many tax cheats stand to lose from a fairer tax system," Sarin added.

The Biden administration earlier this year released a proposal that would require banks and other financial institutions to report on existing annual IRS forms the total amount of money that came into an account during a year and the total amount of money that came out of it.

The president’s budget request proposed imposing the reporting requirement for accounts with flows of at least $600. Congressional Democrats have discussed raising that threshold to $10,000 and exempting payments from payroll processors.

The proposal could be a way to raise revenue that could be used to offset the cost of spending in Democrats’ social safety net package in areas such as child care, education and climate. Treasury estimated that the administration’s proposal would raise about $460 billion over 10 years, and has said that a narrower proposal could raise $200 billion to $250 billion over a decade.

"Hey Jen, will he take a physical anytime soon and report it to the American public?" Karem asked about Biden, who will turn 79 years old Nov. 20 and is the oldest man ever to serve in the Oval Office.

"He will," Psaki responded.

"How soon? Do we know?" Karem asked.

Another 'Insurrection:' 'We the Parents' to demonstrate in front of Justice Department
[PUBLISH.TWITTER] Kamala Harris Appears in Law-Breaking Video Because Nothing Matters Anymore
[REDSTATE] When it comes to politics, nothing matters anymore. At least, that’s true as long as you are a Democrat, and Kámala Harris
Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's former mistress, then a senatrix from California, and then a former 2020 Dem presidential hopeful. She dropped out because she was polling in negative numbers because of racism or misogyny or something like that. Her father is a Marxist professor emeritus at Stanford and her mother is an Indian of the Hindoo tribe. She is reputedly the proud descendant of a long line of women. Joe Biden picked her for her skin tone, feeling she could also bring in the Native American, women's, and bimbo votes. She's an outstanding exemplar of the Peter Principle, proudly displaying her level of competence in her handling of the Biden Border Surge
illustrated that perfectly yesterday with the release of a law-breaking video. In it, she clearly endorses Terry McAuliffe to be Virginia’s next governor, which is technically allowed for the vice president because she’s exempt from the Hatch Act. Yet, it’s where the video is going to be played that should lead to legal consequences.

Of course, the keyword there is "should" because we all know nothing is going to happen here.

This would be a national scandal if a Republican down to dogcatcher did it.

These churches playing this video, which is not only political but actually endorses a candidate, is a clear violation of the Johnson Amendment which prohibits tax-exempt churches from engaging in the direct or indirect promotion of a candidate for office. Here’s the legal definition per NPR.

Under terms of the 1954 legislation (named for its principal sponsor, then-Sen. Lyndon Johnson), churches and other nonprofit organizations that are exempt from taxation "are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office," according to the IRS
...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies...
website.

Harris’ video could not meet the above definition anymore perfectly if she tried. Had she simply encouraged people to vote, this likely would have passed muster (as sketchy as that would be on its own), but she went much further than that. While there’s sometimes ambiguity when Democrat politicians campaign in black churches, a common occurrence, Harris endorses McAuliffe and spends half the video singing his praises. If that’s not a violation of the Johnson Amendment, then nothing is. And there’s little argument that the church is promoting her message from the pulpit when they are choosing to play the video without a counter from Glenn Youngkin.

The Turkish defense ministry said in a statement that the military operation, during which three militants were neutralized, was carried out in the Qandil region.

...... 46th president of the U.S. An incredibly corrupt version of Jar-Jar Binks, only well into his dotage. The dumbass who abandoned Afghanistan.......
slogan which was born after an NBC news hound embarrassingly misreported a NASCAR crowd chant earlier this month.

"It is happening because of the disastrous policies that are implemented by Joe Biden," explained Abbott.

"People are angry. People who come to these stadiums, who want to gather and celebrate a great American tradition like college football, and you have Joe Biden trying to shut things down and shut people out and you got [Anthony] Fauci saying you got to stay home until Christmas or whenever — and it’s just ludicrous the policies that Joe Biden is advancing," the governor continued.

Abbott shared his perspective ahead of the Texas vs. Oklahoma State football game Saturday. While the FJB phenomenon has since spread to other events, including to international venues, videos of the chant being sung were first recorded at college football games across America.

The Grand Turk
Merkel: Aid to Afghanistan Needed, Will Deter Migration
[ToloNews] German Chancellor Angela Merkel
...chancellor of Germany and the impetus behind Germany's remarkably ill-starred immigration program. Merkel used to be referred to by Germans as Mom. Now they make faces at her for inundating the country with Moslem colonists...
said that the international community should ensure humanitarian aid to Afghanistan to decrease the migration of Afghans into neighboring countries and to Europe.

Talking alongside her Ottoman Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyib Erdogan on Saturday in Istanbul, Merkel said Afghans should not become victims of human traffickers and smugglers.

"We also talked about the issue of Afghanistan. So that people from Afghanistan do not become victims of smugglers and traffickers, we must ensure that humanitarian aid is provided in Afghanistan," Merkel said.

Merkel and Erdogan also talked about bilateral relations and an EU-The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
agreement addressing illegal migration in Europe.

Merkel’s visit to Turkey follows a Human Rights Watch (HRW) report that accused Ottoman Turkish authorities of violating international law by mistreating Afghan refugees who try to cross from the Iranian border into Turkey.

HRW, quoting Afghan refugees who returned from the border, reported that Ottoman Turkish authorities mistreat the refugees who try to seek safety in Turkey. According to the report, Ottoman Turkish forces collectively expel Afghans in groups of 50 to 300 back into Iran.

"Ottoman Turkish authorities are denying Afghans trying to flee to safety the right to seek asylum. Ottoman Turkish soldiers are also brutally mistreating the Afghans while unlawfully pushing them back," said Belkis Wille, a senior crisis and conflict researcher at HRW.
As I recall, refugees are supposed to apply for asylum from the first country they encounter after fleeing home. In this case it would be Iran, not Turkey.
HRW said it hopes Merkel would push the Ottoman Turkish government to end the expulsion of Afghans and investigate allegations of collective expulsions.

Following the collapse of the former government in August 15 and the economic downturn in the country, many Afghans are trying to migrate into neighboring countries as well as into Europe.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Army Says Soldier Being Questioned for 'Firing at Protesters'
[An Nahar] Social media users have heavily circulated CCTV footage showing an army soldier firing at the Hizbullah
...Party of God, a Leb militia inspired, founded, funded and directed by Iran. Hizbullah refers to itself as The Resistance and purports to defend Leb against Israel, with whom it has started and lost one disastrous war to date, though it did claim victory...
-Amal protesters in the Tayyouneh-Ain al-Remmaneh area from a close distance during Thursday’s deadly incidents.

In an official statement issued overnight, the army acknowledged that the footage shows "a soldier opening fire at protesters during the confrontations that erupted two days ago in the Tayyouneh area," noting that he is being "interrogated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities."

Al-Jadeed TV meanwhile quoted "sources close to the Lebanese Army" as saying that "the army started responding to gunfire after three people were killed by gunfire in the armed clash."

"This is what appeared in the circulated videos that show an army soldier opening fire," the sources added.

Al-Rahi Rejects Violence between 'Brothers', 'Fabrication of Files, Scapegoating'
[An Nahar] Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi on Sunday expressed sorrow over Thursday’s deadly incidents in the Tayyouneh-Ain al-Remmaneh area, expressing "warm condolences to the families of the victims" and wishing recovery for the maimed."At the same time we strongly condemn these incidents and the armed appearances that were used between brothers in the same country," al-Rahi added, in his Sunday Mass sermon.

"The democratic system provides us with peaceful means of expression, in acceptance or rejection, support or opposition, and therefore no party is allowed to resort to intimidation, violence and the setting up of partisan or clan checkpoints on public roads to obtain what they want by force," the patriarch said.

He warned that "harming national peace and good and brotherly neighborliness is rejected wherever it may come from."

"We reject to return to arbitrary accusations, sectarian polarization and seditious media. We reject to return to readily available slogans and isolation attempts... We reject to return to the fabrication of files against this or that group or to the selection of certain people as scapegoats," al-Rahi added.

Raad Says 'LF Treachery' Will Have a Price, Asks State to Investigate
[An Nahar] Head of the Loyalty to Resistance® bloc MP Mohammed Raad warned Sunday that there will be a price for "the Lebanese Forces
A Christian political party founded by Bashir Gemayel, who was then bumped off when he was elected president of Leb...
’ treachery that committed a massacre on Thursday," referring to the deadly Tayyouneh festivities."We will not rush to a civil war and we will not threaten civil peace, but we also will not accept that this blood go in vain," Raad said.

"The state must investigate and reach the culprits to hold them accountable, seeing as this is its job," the Hizbullah politician added, noting that Hizbullah will wait to see what the state will do but "will not forget the blood of the innocents from our people."

"Their entire history is full of massacres and attacks on civil peace," Raad went on to say, referring to the LF.

Apparently lashing out at LF leader Samir Geagea
...Geagea was imprisoned by the Syrians and their puppets for 11 years in a dungeon in the third basement level of the Lebanese Ministry of Defense. He was released after the Cedar Revolution in 2005...
, the MP accused him of "planting snipers on rooftops to tell his handlers that he is the horse that they can bet on to ruin civil peace and the country."

He warned: "Our problem with the group of snipers will have a separate price, seeing as the blood of our people is not ink. The blood of our people remains blood and we know its value, seeing as had it not been for it, no Lebanese would have possessed dignity and the Israeli’s boot would have been ruling this country."

Turning to the port blast investigation, Raad asked: "What are you afraid of?"

"Those who want the truth must unveil it without cheating, falsification and lying to people and without turning the probe into something that can be exploited to incite people against each other. This is all what we are asking for regarding this matter and we will follow it up," he added.

Five Hizbullah and Amal Movement members and two non-combatants were killed and dozens of people were maimed in Thursday’s fierce festivities in the Tayyouneh area.

Hizbullah and Amal have accused the LF of deploying snipers on rooftops and opening fire on peaceful protesters. The Lebanese Forces has meanwhile denied using snipers while noting that it was Ain al-Remmaneh’s residents who "defended themselves" in the face of an "invasion" by the supporters of the two groups.
