Breaking: Iran-Backed Militants Storm US Embassy in Yemen, Seize Hostages and Equipment
Also submitted by 746.
[WFB] Let's go, Brandon! Fuck Joe Biden
State Department 'concerned about the breach of the compound,' demands release of hostages

The State Department is working to secure the release of several kidnapped hostages taken by Iran-backed terrorists just a day after the militant group stormed the U.S. embassy facility in Sana'a, Yemen, U.S. officials told the Washington Free Beacon early Thursday.

A group of Houthi rebels reportedly stormed the U.S. compound on Wednesday seeking "large quantities of equipment and materials," according to regional reports translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute. The raid comes just five days after the Houthis kidnapped Yemeni nationals who work for the U.S. embassy. "The alleged raid comes after the Houthis kidnapped three Yemeni nationals affiliated with the U.S. Embassy from one of the employee's private residences in Sana'a on November 5," according to MEMRI. At least 22 other Yemenis were kidnapped by the Houthis in recent weeks, "most of whom worked on the security staff guarding the embassy grounds," according to MEMRI.

The State Department confirmed to the Free Beacon that the Yemeni staffers are being detained without explanation and that the Iran-backed militants stole property after breaching the American facility in Sana'a, which housed U.S. embassy staff prior to the suspension of operations there in 2015.

Former South Africa President FW De Klerk dies at age 85
[Aljazeera] Former South African President Frederik Willem de Klerk, the last leader under apartheid and a key actor in the country’s transition to democracy, has died, his foundation has announced. He was 85 years old.

"FW de Klerk died peacefully at his home in Fresnaye earlier this morning following his struggle against mesothelioma cancer," the FW de Klerk Foundation said in a statement on Thursday.

De Klerk and South Africa’s first black President Nelson Mandela shared the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 for leading the "miracle" transition from white rule in the country.

He died after a battle with cancer, his foundation said in a statement.

De Klerk had announced his diagnosis on his 85th birthday, on March 18 this year.

He is survived by his wife Elita, children Jan and Susan, and grandchildren.

"The family will, in due course, make an announcement regarding funeral arrangements," the foundation added.

Biden's radical nominee for Comptroller of the Currency faces bipartisan opposition
[Hot Air] Joe Biden nominated Saule Omarova as Comptroller of the Currency. Her history is so radical that some Democrats are beginning to speak out about their concerns with moving forward with the nomination.

At the end of September, the Wall Street Journal ran a story on Omarova’s nomination. What jumps out is her Marxist history. In her opinion, the Soviet economic system is superior to any other. If only women in the U.S. had generous maternity benefits.
The Cornell University law school professor’s radical ideas might make even Bernie Sanders blush. She graduated from Moscow State University in 1989 on the Lenin Personal Academic Scholarship. Thirty years later, she still believes the Soviet economic system was superior, and that U.S. banking should be remade in the Gosbank’s image.

"Until I came to the US, I couldn’t imagine that things like gender pay gap still existed in today’s world. Say what you will about old USSR, there was no gender pay gap there. Market doesn’t always ’know best,’" she tweeted in 2019. After Twitter users criticized her ignorance, she added a caveat: "I never claimed women and men were treated absolutely equally in every facet of Soviet life. But people’s salaries were set (by the state) in a gender-blind manner. And all women got very generous maternity benefits. Both things are still a pipe dream in our society!"
She envisions a centralized banking industry — she wants to expand the Federal Reserve’s mandate to include the price levels of "systemically important financial assets" as well as worker wages. She suggests "the Federal Reserve take over consumer bank deposits, "effectively ’end banking,’ as we know it," and become "the ultimate public platform for generating, modulating, and allocating financial resources in a modern economy." How’s all that sound? She wants to do away with banks, the very sector her job requires her to supervise. She would supervise 1200 financial institutions.

#7  We don't have a gender pay gap here. What we do have is women tend to go into jobs that are typically low paying no matter what the gender. There are also fewer women in the work force than men so when women's pay is averaged and men's pay is averaged it looks like women are paid less than me. Male nurses are paid the same as female nurses, female engineers are paid the same as male engineers, etc.

French Laundry food poisoning ruled out: Gavin Newsom Had Adverse Reaction To COVID Booster & Flu Shots
[PJ] Sources have revealed why California Governor Gavin Newsom went missing from the public for nearly two weeks after receiving his COVID booster shot. Newsom’s disappearance became incredibly suspicious when he abruptly canceled his trip to the climate conference in Scotland last week, bizarrely claiming family obligations (namely Halloween) kept him from going.

But sources tell the Daily Mail that Newsom was left with muscle weakness and fatigue after receiving the COVID booster and a flu shot within days of each other.

Newsom made his first public appearance after receiving the booster on Saturday at the lavish wedding of Ivy Getty in San Francisco. After Newsom was spotted at the wedding, his press secretary Daniel Lopez denied any connection between Newsom’s disappearance and the shots.

According to Lopez, Newsom had "no adverse reaction to his booster shot" and said that the governor would resume having public events this week.

"The flu shot and booster shot were administered separately and the Governor did not have an adverse reaction to either shot," Lopez insisted.

But, Newsom rarely goes so long without public events, and when he has, some explanation is typically given, prompting the rumor mill to go into overdrive.

Tut, tut! Certainly not. He had a reaction to both shots together. Personally, doing a double seems a bit risky. As evidenced by this data point.

I do like the lawyerly "were administered separately" which is certainly true, but both shots were tickling the same immune system.

Biden administration creating unlawful firearms owner's database
[MAIL] The Biden administration has been compiling records of 54 million gun owners to possibly create an unlawful database of Americans who possess a firearm, according to a Saturday report.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) documents obtained by the Washington Free Beacon are keeping tabs on U.S. citizens who have purchased firearms to make sure their personal information is in the hands of the federal government.

The agency was able to obtain the information by using a process where the ATF can collect and store records on private gun transactions from licensed gun stores when they go out of business. The information is stored at a federal site in West Virginia.

There are so many records stored at this location that several years ago, The New York Times reported, the floor collapsed.

The practice of collecting these records has drawn criticism from Pro-Second Amendment groups who say the Biden administration is using the information to create a national database of gun owners, which is against U.S. law.

#1  I recall reading the German perspective of the Battle for Normandy in the days following the invasion. What stuck with me was the comment that the Americans had no radio discipline and that the Germans were hearing it all, but that all included how much material and manpower was coming down on them. Not good for morale.

Have the illegal database, then count how many people you will have on your side and how many people will be on the other side. Then realize nearly all of your people have to go home every night into that population. It only takes one Lexington Commons to set off a fire you can't hope to put out.

Pentagon says that climate crisis and and China are 'equally important' threats to US
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The Pentagon's chief spokesman said that the climate crisis and China are 'equally important' threats to the US.

After the Biden administration warned of the serious national security China poses to the US, Department of Defense press secretary John Kirby told reporters on Wednesday that the current climate crisis is an equal priority.
Contrast this position to what led to last year's destruction of the USS Bonhomme Richard. The command investigation into the incident found the loss was in part because sailors failed to press a button that could have activated a critical fire-suppression system. The investigation found four major areas that contributed to the ultimate destruction of the ship - the material condition of the ship, the lack of training and readiness, the inadequate response of support from the shore, and oversight that would've codified what to do in response to the fire.

A case could be made that the US Pentagon itself is a national threat to the US on a level with that posed by Red China.

First January 6 Capitol riot defendant to plead guilty to assaulting police is sentenced
[CBSnews] The first Capitol riot defendant to plead guilty to assaulting an officer has been sentenced to 41 months in prison by Senior Judge Royce C. Lamberth of the DC US District Court.

Judge Royce Lamberth sentenced ex-MMA fighter Scott Fairlamb, 44, to approximately three and a half years in prison and three years probation for assaulting an officer while he was part of the violent mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6 in support of former President Trump.
Compare that to the 30-day sentence given Rene Boucher by a US district judge for the Western KY US District court, for Boucher's guilty plea, re: his assault on US Sen. Rand Paul, giving Paul a critical and lasting injury. Prosecutors appealed that sentence & Boucher was later re-sentenced for a total of 8 months in prison.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard says it released seized Vietnamese oil tanker
Yesterday we assumed it was so, today Iran confirms it.
[IsraelTimes] Tehran says vessel has been emptied of oil cargo; ship suspected of trying to transfer sanctioned Iranian crude to Asia; vessel anchored in international waters; no details on crew

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said Wednesday they had released a Vietnamese-flagged oil tanker they seized last month in the Sea of Oman in a tense incident also involving the US Navy.

While the Guards claimed they thwarted an attempt by the US ship to seize the MV Sothys carrying Iranian oil, US defense officials rejected that account and said that Iran
...Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979...
seized the tanker and took it into its territorial waters.

"The seized Sothys oil tanker was released by court order after it was emptied of oil belonging to the Islamic Theocratic Republic of Iran in Bandar Abbas," said Sepah News, the official website of the Revolutionary Guards.

The Sothys had reached international waters in the nearby Gulf of Oman early Wednesday, data from MarineTraffic.com showed. The vessel appeared anchored there, but there was no information about its crew.

Vietnamese officials could not be reached for comment, though officials in the country earlier acknowledged trying to obtain more information about the seizure from Iran.

The US Navy’s Mideast-based 5th Fleet declined to comment.

Iran’s powerful paramilitary Revolutionary Guard troops took control of the MV Sothys, a vessel that analysts suspect of trying to transfer sanctioned Iranian crude oil to Asia, on October 24. US forces had monitored the seizure but ultimately didn’t take action as the vessel sailed into Iranian waters.

Iran later celebrated its capture of the vessel in dramatic footage aired on state television
... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?
, the day before the 42nd anniversary of the 1979 seizure of the US Embassy in Tehran.

The Sothys had been on the radar of United Against a Nuclear Iran, a New York-based advocacy group long suspicious of the Islamic Theocratic Republic. In a letter dated October 11 addressed to the Vietnam Maritime Administration, the group said its analysis of satellite photos showed the Sothys received a ship-to-ship transfer of oil in June from an oil tanker called the Oman Pride.

The US Treasury identified the Oman Pride in August as being used to transport Iranian oil as part of a smuggling scheme to enrich the Guard’s expeditionary Quds Force. That Iranian oil ends up being sold into East Asia, the Treasury alleged, without identifying a specific country.

Iran’s seizure of the Sothys is the latest in a string of hijackings and explosions to roil the Gulf of Oman, which sits near the Strait of Hormuz, the narrow mouth of the Persian Gulf through which a fifth of all traded oil passes.

The US Navy blamed Iran for a series of limpet mine attacks on vessels that damaged tankers in 2019, as well as for a fatal drone attack on an Israeli-linked oil tanker that killed two European crew members earlier this year. Just a few months ago, Iranian hijackers stormed and briefly captured a Panama-flagged asphalt tanker off the United Arab Emirates.

Tehran denies carrying out the attacks, but a wider shadow war between Iran and the West has played out in the region’s volatile waters since then-president Donald Trump
...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons......
withdrew the US from Iran’s nuclear deal in 2018 and imposed crushing sanctions on the country.

Drone strikes Iran-backed militias in eastern Syria – report
[IsraelTimes] An unidentified drone carried out strikes on Iranian-backed militias near the Syrian-Iraqi border in the early hours of Wednesday morning, according to an opposition-linked war monitor.

The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the strike targeted weapons caches belonging to pro-Iranian militias in the Bukamal region of eastern Syria, an area that has reportedly been targeted by Israel in the past.

Yet, according to the Observatory, it was not immediately clear if the attack was carried out by the American-led coalition that operates in the area or by Israel.

The strike on the arms depots triggered massive explosions that were heard throughout the area, according to the Observatory.

Earlier in the week, Syria accused Israel of conducting a series of Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s on targets in the area of Homs and Tartus in a rare early-evening attack on Monday. Syrian state media outlet SANA reported that two Syrian soldiers were maimed in the strikes, which also caused "material losses."

Syrian media reported that the targets of Monday’s strikes were arms depots in Shayrat Airport near Homs and just outside the coastal city of Tartus. Satellite images from Tuesday showed significant damage to a warehouse located south of Tartus, indicating that it was the primary target.

On Tuesday night, a senior Russian military official said Monday’s strikes were carried out by six Israeli F-15 fighter jets flying near northern Lebanon Hezbollahstan
...Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. ...
Israel has refused to comment on the Monday strikes, in line with its policy of ambiguity regarding its activities in Syria. Despite the comments by the Russian official — Vadim Kulit, one of Moscow’s leading representatives to its ally Syria — Israel generally believes that Russia tacitly approves of its efforts against Iran
...Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979...
in the country so long as no Russian forces are harmed in the process.

According to Kulit, the six F-15s fired eight missiles at targets in the area of Homs and Tartus. He claimed that six of them were shot down by the Syrian military with Russian-made air defenses. Israeli military officials, as well as civilian defense analysts, largely see these claims of high interception rates by Syrian and Russian official to be empty boasts.

Human trafficking suit spreads to Hindu temples in five US states
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A lawsuit in which workers accuse a Hindu organization of human trafficking by luring them from India to build a temple in New Jersey for as little as $1.20 a day has widened to four other states. In the initial lawsuit filed in May, workers at a Hindu temple in Robbinsville, New Jersey, claimed leaders of the Hindu organization known as Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha, or BAPS, coerced them into signing employment agreements and forced them to work more than 12 hours per day with few days off, under the watch of security guards. They traveled to New Jersey under R-1 visas, which are meant for "those who minister, or work in religious vocations or occupations," according to the lawsuit.

The amended lawsuit filed last month added several more workers to the lawsuit. The workers, who the lawsuit says were from marginalized communities in India, claim they were exploited at temples in Chino Hills, Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, outside Los Angeles; Bartlett, Illinois, outside reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown
...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel...
; Stafford, Texas, outside Houston; and Lilburn, Georgia, outside Atlanta.

"US Government officials have authorized the use of R-1 visas for stone artisans for 20 years, and federal, state, and local government agencies have regularly visited and inspected all of the construction projects on which those artisans volunteered," Paul Fishman, an attorney representing BAPS, said in an email Wednesday.

The workers in other states allege that, while they weren't forced to work as many hours as their counterparts in New Jersey, they were paid well below standards set by federal and state minimum wage laws. Multiple workers named as plaintiffs worked at more than one of the temples, the lawsuit alleges, some for as long as eight or nine years in total.

Similar to the allegations in the initial suit against the Hindu temple in Robbinsville, outside the New Jersey capital of Trenton, workers at the temples in the other four states claim they weren't allowed to have their passports and slept in large halls on the temple grounds that were monitored by security guards.

"At the Robbinsville temple and elsewhere, the defendants intentionally caused the workers to reasonably believe that if they tried to leave their work and the temple compounds, they would suffer physical restraint and serious harm," the lawsuit claims.

The temples named in the lawsuit are all affiliated with BAPS, a corporation registered in Delaware and with offices in Piscataway, New Jersey.

Adults' choice of marriage has constitutional sanction: HC
[GREATERKASHMIR] The High Court (HC) Wednesday termed choosing by two adults as life partners for one another as a "manifestation of their choice" that cannot succumb to the conception of class honour or group thinking.Deciding a plea by a couple who had entered into wedlock according to the Moslem Personal Law, rites, and customs, a bench of Justice Tashi Rabstan directed the Police to provide adequate security cover to them.

"When two adults consensually choose each other as life partners, it is a manifestation of their choice that is recognised under Articles 19 and 21 of the constitution," the court said.

It said such a right had the sanction of constitutional law and once recognised, the right needs to be protected and cannot succumb to the conception of class honour or group thinking.

Underscoring that the right has constitutional sanction and needs to be protected, the court said the consent of family or community, or clan was not necessary once two adult individuals agree to enter into wedlock. "Their consent has to be piously given primacy," the court said.

It said that the concept of liberty had to be weighed and tested on the touchstone of constitutional sensitivity, protection, and values it stands for.

"It is the obligation of the constitutional courts as the sentinel on qui vive (alert) to zealously guard the right to liberty of an individual as dignified existence of an individual has an inseparable association with liberty," the court said.

The HC said that it was emphatically clear that life and liberty sans dignity and choice was a phenomenon that allows hollowness to enter into the constitutional recognition of the identity of a person.

It said that the choice of an individual was an extricable part of dignity. Observing that dignity could not be thought of where there was the erosion of choice and no one should be permitted to interfere in the fructification of the said choice, the court said, "If the right to express one’s own choice is obstructed, it will be extremely difficult to think of dignity in its sanctified completeness."

It said that when two adults marry out of their volition, they choose their path, consummate their relationship, feel that it is their goal, and have the right to do so.

The court said that it could unequivocally be said that they had the right and any infringement of the said right was a constitutional violation.

Paris court hands life sentence to murderer of French Holocaust survivor
[IsraelTimes] Yacine Mihoub given no chance of parole for 22 years over 2018 killing of Mireille Knoll, which sparked an outcry about antisemitism in La Belle France.

A French court on Wednesday sentenced the killer of an elderly Jewish woman to life imprisonment, with no possibility of parole for 22 years, over the 2018 murder which caused an outcry over antisemitism in La Belle France.

Yacine Mihoub was convicted of the murder of Mireille Knoll, 85, who was stabbed 11 times and whose body was partly burned after her Gay Paree apartment was set alight on March 23, 2018.

A second defendant, Alex Carrimbacus, was acquitted of murder by the Gay Paree court, but found guilty of theft with anti-Semitic motives, for which he was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

The court said that attack, which began as a robbery, was fueled by "a broader context of antisemitism" and "prejudices" about the purported wealth of Jewish people, which led Mihoub to believe the victim had "hidden treasures" in her home.

Knoll’s family hailed the verdict as "just."

French President Emmanuel Macron attended the funeral of the octogenarian, who had survived a notorious 1942 roundup of Jews in Gay Paree during World War II by fleeing with her mother to Portugal and who later married an Auschwitz survivor.

Mihoub, the son of one of Kroll’s neighbors who described her as being like a "surrogate grandmother" to him, denied any hand in her death, blaming Carrimbacus instead.

Knoll’s murder caused added repugnance because she was suffering from Parkinson’s disease and could not move unassisted.

Knoll’s son Daniel told the court that when his mother let Mihoub, who had done odd jobs for her for years, into her home "she never expected that the person she had protected for years would become her executioner."

In his final statement to the court on Wednesday, Carrimbacus told Knoll’s family he regretted not preventing an attack described by the prosecution as "particularly savage."

The attack was classified as antisemitic after Carrimbacus told Sherlocks he overheard Mihoub arguing with Kroll on the day of her death "about Jews’ money and their wealth."

He also claimed Mihoub, who had multiple convictions for violence, shouted "holy shit! Allahu akbar" ("God is greatest") while stabbing her.

Prosecutors also pointed to messages glorifying jihadist attacks found in Mihoub’s prison cell as proof of his alleged antisemitism.

La Belle France’s 500,000-strong Jewish community, the biggest in Europe, has been rocked by a series of attacks in recent years by radical Islamists that have targeted Jews.

During the three-week murder trial the defendants, both repeat offenders who had become acquainted in prison, blamed each other for her death.

The case drew parallels with the killing in 2017 of an Orthodox Jewish woman in her sixties, Sarah Halimi, who was thrown out of the window of her Gay Paree apartment by a neighbor shouting "holy shit! Allahu akbar" ("God is greatest.")

La Belle France’s highest court ruled in April that the killer in that case, Kobili Traore, was not criminally responsible after succumbing to a "delirious fit" under the influence of drugs and could not be put on trial.

That ruling infuriated the victim’s family as well as Jewish groups, and prompted Macron to urge a change in French law to ensure people face responsibility for violent mostly peaceful crimes while under the influence of drugs.

Spanish-Palestinian woman pleads guilty to raising PFLP funds through charity
[IsraelTimes] Juani Rishmawi admits to defrauding donors on behalf of the terrorist organization for reduced sentence; politicians say it’s proof PFLP uses humanitarian groups as fronts

A Spanish-Paleostinian woman pleaded guilty in a military court on Wednesday to embezzling funds from a West Bank charity on behalf of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Paleostine terror group, which Israel recently accused of using six other non-governmental organizations as fronts for its terrorist activities.

Israeli politicians hailed the conviction, believing it justifies a deeply contentious decision by the Defense Ministry and the military to outlaw the six groups, prompting at times harsh international opposition.

#5  Mike,

Marx almost made the 'I'm sorry' comment himself.

Marx had collected an enormous amount of whatever data he could get assuming it would prove his theories and provide evidence for new insight (huge stacks of paper in those days).

It didn't.

A woman in Russia wrote to him near the end of his life asking about what sort of events would prefigure the revolution and how comrades like herself could use these events.

Marx ended up writing a 'good luck on the revolution' response to her as he couldn't figure out a substantive answer.

His answer was, "I need this job"

#7  ^ He and his fellow travelers simply shifted their focus slightly after communism's collapse in 1990-92.

The legions of academic and professional Marxists in the West began to embrace culture wars and identity politics then: "Hey Ho, Hey Ho, Western Civ has got to go," etc.

Marxist dialectic was tweaked, not discarded. They just substituted race (and sexuality) for class.

Your professor's rice bowl is ironclad. Unbreakable.

The first camp are the losers that can't or won't play the game of capitalism well enough to enjoy their lives. They want to *break* the current game because their lives aren't going well.

The second camp of communists fly under the radar and don't take the considerable criticism and calling out that they so richly deserve. Resident Priya Brown said: "These tactics are divisive
...politicians call things divisive when when the other side sez something they don't like. Their own statements are never divisive, they're principled...
and they have no place in today's world. They're tactics that are used to divide deliberately by neo-Nazi
...adherents of a philosophy that was seen even at the time as pure evil, which makes them either consciously and purely evil, or attention-seeking ratbags. Pick one, or both....
groups and white supremacy
...the pernicious doctrine that laws were intended to be obeyed, that society works better when people don't pour shreiking from their places of worship every Friday for a weekend of rioting over insults real or imagined; and that cannibalism, beastiality, incest, murder, theft, rape, and similar activities are bad. A Dead White European (which invalidates his opinion) philosopher once opined that societies thrive when a person's word can be relied upon, and that a society which puts individual happiness first will invariably fail. Strangely enough, other successful societies, such as China, Japan, Korea, and those kinds of places could also be lumped with white supremacist societies, since they push the same values...

‘Republican’ Sissy Adam Kinzinger Says He Was Ready To Shoot And Kill Jan 6 Protesters
[TheHill] Reprobate. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) revealed in a new interview that he considered firing his weapon on Jan. 6 as pro-Trump supporters were storming the Capitol.

During an interview with CNN political commentator S.E. Cupp for Rolling Stone that was published Monday, Kinzinger said he was "hunkered down" in his office for six hours "with my gun out, prepared to defend against my own party" when the rioters were making their way through the Capitol.
And yet nothing happened in his part of the building. The next question is whether he is legally permitted to carry in the Capitol building...
Pressed by Cupp about whether he considered the possibility that he would need to use his firearm against American citizens, Kinzinger said, "Yeah, I thought about it."

Two Chechens sentenced for financing passage to Syria
Direct Translate via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] The Military Court of Appeal upheld the verdict of Anvar Bolotkhanov and Kamil Eldarov, residents of Chechnya, who were convicted of transferring 20,000 rubles for a trip to Syrian militants.

As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote , on July 28, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don  sentenced Anvar Bolotkhanov, a native of the Gudermes region of Chechnya, 5.5 years in prison, and Kamil Eldarov, a native of Gudermes, five years in prison under articles on assisting terrorism.

According to the investigation and the court, in 2015 Bolotkhanov "using a bank card provided by Eldarov" transferred funds in the amount of 20 thousand rubles to another person in order to assist him in leaving for Syria to participate in a banned armed group. The convicts admitted their guilt.

One of the convicts appealed against the verdict, but the collegium of the Military Court of Appeal in the Moscow region today also found Bolotkhanov and Eldarov guilty and upheld the verdict of the Southern District Military Court unchanged, a court official told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"Caucasian Knot" does not yet have comments from Anvar Bolotkhanov and Kamil Eldarov regarding the court's decision.

The complaint against the verdict of Bolotkhanov and Eldarov was received on September 28, according to a file on the website of the Military Court of Appeal.

Philippines Resumes Process to Decommission Ex-Rebels’ Guns
[BenarNews] The Philippines has resumed the decommissioning of thousands of firearms turned in by ex-Moslem separatist rebels in the south as part of a peace deal with Manila, after the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
pandemic disrupted the process, officials said Wednesday.

Moro Islamic Liberation Front rebels signed a peace agreement with the central government in 2014, ending their long-running separatist insurgency in the Mindanao region. Former MILF officials today head a transitional government in an autonomous region (BAARM), which came about through the agreement. The deal also stipulated that the group’s ex-fighters would surrender their weapons for decommissioning.

Turkish drone strikes a residential area in Syria
Direc Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
Turkey’s decades-long war against the Kurds continues.
[REGNUM] The city of Al-Qamishli (Haseke province, Syria) came under fire from the Turkish Air Force on November 10, Al Hadath reports.

According to Kurdish sources, the shelling was carried out with the help of a drone: the strike fell on a residential area - on a car in which there were people - probably members of the same family. None of them survived.

According to the Kurds, the Turks planned to destroy the representative of the "Forces of Democratic Syria" (a Kurdish organization), but he was not in the car at the time of the strike.

Italy letting rescue ship with 306 migrants go to Sicily
[AlAhram] After days of waiting in the choppy central Mediterranean, a charity rescue ship with 306 migrants colonists aboard on Wednesday received permission by Italia to disembark the passengers just as a storm approached, the humanitarian organization said.

SOS Mediterranee tweeted that those aboard Ocean Viking felt "indescribable relief'' that Italian authorities approved disembarking of the passengers in Augusta, Sicily.

The humanitarian group said the port assignment came just ahead of a strong storm bearing down on area of the central Mediterranean where Ocean Viking has been essentially stranded for days while waiting permission to dock.

"States must set up again a mechanism for disembarking to avoid these continuous stalemates at sea,'' the charity said.

With the anti-migrant League one of the parties in Premier Mario Draghi's broad coalition, political pressure has been strong to discourage the arrivals of migrants colonists rescued at sea by charity ships from unseaworthy vessels launched by human traffickers.

Crew members aboard the Ocean Viking said that recent downpours left migrants colonists on the open deck drenched and shivering. The migrants colonists' "teeth are chattering'' from the cold, SOS Mediterranee said hours before port permission was received. The charity said that on Tuesday night 2-meter (6.5 foot) high waves rocked the vessel.

Last weekend, the Italian Coast Guard evacuated a total of eight people, including those needing medical assistance and their immediate family members, from Ocean Viking.

That left 306 migrants colonists aboard, some for more than a week since their rescue, waiting in limbo off Lampedusa, a tiny Italian island south of Sicily.

On Sunday, another humanitarian rescue ship, Sea-Eye 4, arrived in the port of Trapani, Sicily, after days of waiting for permission. Aboard were more than 800 rescued migrants colonists.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, migrants colonists rescued at sea and brought to Italia undergo preventative quarantine, many of them transferred to currently unused passenger ferries.

Those fleeing poverty are usually denied asylum.

Italia's pleas to other European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
nations to take in some of the asylum-seekers generally go unheeded. Since Italia has barely a handful of repatriation agreements with the homelands of the migrants colonists, they often wind up staying in Italia, trying to find odd jobs or a way to reach work or family elsewhere in Europe.

Afghanistan
UN pays $8 million in salaries to Afghan health workers
Money being fungible, that’s a nice little donation to the Taliban government.
[KhaamaPress] The United Nations
...an organization which on balance has done more bad than good, with the good not done well and the bad done thoroughly...
Development Program UNDP and the Global Fund have said that they have paid $8 million for 23,500 health workers in Afghanistan over the past month.

UNDP’s Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific, Kanni Wignaraja has said that someone had to step in and added that they were confronted just with a health system collapsing, but also a financial system that was collapsing.

"Global Fund took the financial risk, we took the implementation risk to make these payments happen. We have shown it’s possible, it can work, it goes a huge long way to save at least the people’s economy in the country." Said Wignaraja.

The payment comes as the UN has been struggling to provide the people of Afghanistan with humanitarian aid who are on the brink of famine so that they prevent the collapse of the economy, health, education services.

In the meantime, UNICEF has announced to be directly funding Afghan teachers across the country.

The total amount of money provided by the Global Fund amounts to $15 million, from the money $8 million were paid for the health workers and the remaining money was allocated for supplying medical equipment and essential drugs.

The health workers were paid in 31 provinces of Afghanistan.

turbans are battling a weak and divided government.

The Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime said its study drew on data from more than 400 weapons documented in 13 locations across Somalia over eight months and inventories from 13 dhows intercepted by naval vessels.

It is the first publicly available research into the scale of illicit arms smuggling from Yemen into the Horn of Africa country.

"Weapons originating in the Iran—Yemen arms trade are being trafficked onward into Somalia itself," said the study, which is due to be published on Wednesday.

"Iran has repeatedly denied any involvement in the trafficking of arms to the Houthis. However,
a clean conscience makes a soft pillow...
a preponderance of evidence points to Iranian state supply."

Iran's foreign ministry and a front man for Yemen's Houthi forces did not respond to a request for comment on the study. Iran has repeatedly denied any involvement in the trafficking of arms to its Houthi allies in Yemen, where the six-year-old civil war has killed tens of thousands.

The Somali government front man and the internal security minister did not return calls or messages seeking comment.

The study said the Sherlocks were not able to fully document the buyers and sellers of the weapons.

But it said signs the weapons were originally supplied by the Iranian state included serial numbers that were very close together, indicating they were part of the same shipment, information from satellite navigation systems on seized dhows, and human intelligence from trafficking gangs.

One dhow carrying weapons which were seized by a U.S. navy vessel had a GPS with stored points in Iran, southern Yemen, and Somalia, the report said, including a small anchorage near Jask port, which hosts an Iranian naval base, and "home" as the Yemeni port of Mukalla, a well-known arms smuggling hub.

The study said the guns end up with commercial smuggling networks whose customers can include armed factions seeking advantage ahead of Somalia's repeatedly delayed presidential elections, as well as clan militias and rival Islamist holy warrior groups linked to al Qaeda and Islamic State

Video evidence of torture at prison hospitals submitted to Saratov officials
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] Complaints about torture in the regional tuberculosis hospital No. 1 in Saratov have been received since 2012, but the investigating authorities have sent them to the institution for consideration, said lawyer Snezhana Muntian. Video evidence of torture against residents of Chechnya, Dagestan, Georgia and Azerbaijan in this hospital, presented by the human rights project Gulagu Net, gives hope that the perpetrators will be punished, but in other Russian institutions the situation is similar, said human rights activists Magomed Alamov and Irina Biryukova interviewed by the Caucasian Knot.

As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote, on November 9 the human rights project Gulagu.net published video evidence of violence and torture against residents of Chechnya, Dagestan, Georgia, Azerbaijan in the Saratov prison hospital. The authors of the investigation claim to have identified the names of all employees of the institution involved in the torture. Netizens urged to bring those responsible to justice.

Russian Duma to prohibit stores from collecting unnecessary personal data
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[REGNUM] Today, on November 11, the State Duma will discuss in the first reading a government bill aimed at protecting consumer rights when demanding surplus personal data from sellers, REGNUM reports.

The amendments propose to establish that the seller (performer) does not have the right to refuse to conclude, execute, amend or terminate the contract in connection with the consumer's refusal to provide his personal data.

The exceptions are cases when the obligation to provide such data is provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation or is directly related to the performance of the contract with the consumer.

In this case, the consumer has the right to require the seller (performer) to provide information on specific reasons and legal grounds that determine the impossibility of concluding, executing, changing or terminating the contract without providing personal data. Such information must be provided to the consumer within seven days from the date of the demand - if the demand was made in writing. If the consumer expressed the demand orally - immediately.

The innovation is intended to limit the practice of forced or non-transparent, unconscious collection of personal data of consumers for purposes not related to the conclusion and execution of a contract, the government notes.

Many buyers pay attention to the fact that they have to provide an array of personal data, for example, when receiving discount or bonus cards.

Wow! 2nd Grader Suspended 38 Times for Not Wearing Masks Tells School Board That She Hopes They Go to Jail
[GatewayPundit] A Florida second grader who has been suspended 38 times for refusing to wear a mask to school confronted her local school board — and asserted that they should be in jail.

Fiona Lashells, who just turned 8 years old, told the Tampa Bay school board in no uncertain terms how she felt about their rules.

She is "on a mission to take back, not only her rights but every American child’s constitutional rights from the tyrant school board," her mother, Bailey Lashells, told The Free Press.

Fiona isn’t taking the suspensions lying down either, she has now spoke at her school board meetings twice — directly confronting those who are ruining her education.

Arabia
Saudi-led coalition says 60 Houthis killed near Yemen's Marib
[AlAhram] The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
said Wednesday its latest air strikes killed another 60 Iran's Houthi sock puppets
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. rebels near Marib, the last government stronghold in the north.

Eight military vehicles were destroyed and 60 rebels killed in 11 operations over 24 hours to hunt down rebels, it said in a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency.

It said the operations were carried out in Sirwah to the west of Marib and al-Jawf province to the north.

The coalition has reported high corpse counts on a near daily basis by the coalition, amounting to over 3,000 deaths among the rebels since mid-October.

The Iran-back Shia Houthis rarely comment on casualties, which cannot be independently verified.

A Yemeni military official said Wednesday that 28 fighters from the pro-government Obaida tribe and seven government forces were killed in festivities with rebels south of Marib over the previous 24 hours.

A military official in the government said last week that the Houthis have made advances in the south.

The rebels have intensified their efforts to capture Marib since September after a lull in their advance which began February.

The capture of the strategic oil-rich city would aid the Houthis' expansion to other provinces, marking a major blow to the coalition.

PA’s foreign ministry accuses Israel of using NSO’s Pegasus spyware against it
”Pay attention to us!”
[IsraelTimes] The Paleostinian Authority foreign ministry says some of its employees’ phones were hacked by Pegasus, a controversial spyware application made by the Israeli cybersecurity firm NSO Group.

An investigation by the rights groups Front Line Defenders, Citizen Lab and Amnesia Amnesty International alleged on Monday that six Paleostinians had their cellphones hacked by the software. Three of the Paleostinians worked at organizations Israel recently declared to be terror groups, drawing an international outcry.

The Paleostinian rights group al-Haq had previously declared that some foreign ministry civil servants had also been hacked. But the PA body did not comment until today.

"We always expected that our telephones were infiltrated by the occupation authorities and that all we said and sent was listened to and monitored. But now, we have evidence and legal documents that acknowledge the existence of this Israeli intrusion," the foreign ministry says in a statement.

NSO Group activities have sparked controversy in recent months. The company has been dogged by accusations that the Pegasus software was used by dictatorships to track dissidents and human rights

Update from The Times of Israel at 2:10 p.m. ET:
A Palestinian official claimed on Thursday that three Palestinian Authority foreign ministry employees preparing complaints against Israel at the International Criminal Court in The Hague had their phones hacked by Pegasus, a controversial spyware application made by the Israeli cybersecurity firm NSO Group.

Is DC Spending us into Civil War?
[CourseHero] Factors that Increase Risk of Civil War ((c) 2003) by Laitin and Fearon

Laitin and Fearon found that POVERTY was the key factor in 125 Civil War they studied from 1945 to 2003. Not ethnic, religious, and language differences. They even noted, countries with higher levels of democratic freedom did not have a decreased the risk of civil war either.

So I ask, is DC spending us into a Civil War?

Given we are now a nation with over $28 Trillion in overspending debt and a elected leadership seeking to add another $4.5T (+/-) on top of that in the coming weeks.

A nation hamstrung with a 14.2% growing US poverty rate, with a collection of corrupt government officials that continue to overspend and desperately hand out money to appease the poor.

Because it seems the stage is being set by DC.

#1  Civil War? No, civil bankruptcy and forced, global financial transition is more likely.

The goal is to destroy small business and the banking industry. The establishment of a government or state bank will provide for the distribution of funds in a more equitable, 'Needs Based' manner. Your funds, financial portfolios, Social Security payments, and other transactions will be immediately available for viewing and audit by the appropriate officials.

All cash payments will be eliminated, in fact outlawed. Your business transactions will be conducted via a gov't financial ATM style, data-base linked debit card. See the Food Stamp Program (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), ... Benefits Transfer (EBT) Card for additional details. BETA testing of SNAP is complete. This highly successful experiment, with tens of millions already enrolled, will become the prototype for all future financial transactions.

The new gov't issued card will facilitate our entry into a global financial network and economy. No more USD, Yen, Peso, EURO, gold, silver. The value of goods, services, and wage compensation will be established on a global, Crypto scale.

Your card will be linked to 'Face Recognition Software (FRS), which will prevent theft and facilitate timely card replacement. Medical data such as blood types, DNA, VAX status, firearms ownership, Amazon Prime membership, insurance, passports, educational levels, employment history, CV, and Advance Healthcare Directives can also be viewed on the card.

Unhappy with the new global wage and compensation programme? No problem. Your resignation is accepted and electronically processed. Federal contract air carriers bringing replacement workers from across the globe will be arriving nightly to take your place. They will be issued pre-loaded 'start up' gov't ATM cards upon arrival.

Seen the Hariet Dubman twenty dollar bill yet? Neither have I. Appears the concept has been for some reason dropped. A global cryptocurrency scheme appears to be the 'desired' new reality.

But, I also see 14+% (46.4M/332m) of America on the dole and Gov. Feeding them.

If that Gov. dole is interrupted... Remember:
November 1956 CASTRO only had 81 revolutionaries <100 rifles, 2 or 3 light machine guns, <45 pistols and 2 Bazooka type anti-tank guns when he arrived in Cuba from Mexico. His numbers quickly became 1200+ and then he seized Cuba. His success was based on existing Gov. Citizen Gun Controls, and a poorly educated, pissed-off economically poor heavily abused population.

‘All votes have been counted': Steve Sweeney concedes loss in New Jersey Senate race
[Philly Inquirer] Apparently those 12,000 "found" votes were....um...something else
New Jersey Democratic Senate President Steve Sweeney on Wednesday conceded his loss in last week’s election, an upset that sent shock waves through the state’s political world, but said he would remain a player in Garden State politics.

“I will be speaking from a different podium, but I promise you: I will be just as loud and just as forceful a voice for change,” he told reporters at the Statehouse in Trenton.
"keep the graft and boodle flowing. I will be back"
Sweeney also congratulated his opponent, Edward Durr Jr., a previously unknown South Jersey Republican who has never served in elected office. Durr’s victory over Sweeney, the longest-serving Senate president in the state’s history and the second-most powerful elected official in Trenton, was an unexpected and major blow to South Jersey’s Democratic establishment.

“All votes have been fairly counted, and I, of course, accept the results,” Sweeney said.

Durr won by a few more than 2,200 votes out of 65,000 cast, according to the Associated Press. Sweeney held off on conceding for a week, saying he wanted all votes counted. Republican Jack Ciattarelli, who mounted an unsuccessful campaign to oust Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy, has also urged patience while the votes are counted and has not yet conceded that race despite Murphy’s 72,000-vote lead.

Durr, a 58-year-old truck driver, has said his win was a repudiation of the state’s pandemic policies such as vaccine and mask mandates. Soon after the election, he faced calls to resign after a reporter turned up offensive social media posts, such as one calling undocumented immigrants “criminals” and another that referred to Islam as a “false religion.” Durr deleted the posts last week and said he supports “everybody’s right to worship in any manner they choose.”

Durr will take office in January and serve a two-year term, then can run for a four-year term under New Jersey’s electoral system.
Courtesy of Skidmark at 11:40 a.m. ET, update from the Daily Mail:
  • 'It was a red wave,' Sweeney said, after losing by about 2,000 votes

  • Sweeney did not end up demanding a recount, which would have to have been finance by his party

  • Edward Durr is a 58-year-old truck driver for furniture store Raymour & Flanigan

  • He defeated NJ Senate President Steve Sweeney, who is the longest-serving legislative leader in New Jersey's history and has been in senate since 2002

  • The last time Sweeney had to defend his seat in 2017, nearly $20 million was spent in what is known as one of the most expensive legislative races in US

  • Democrats have struggled statewide in the blue stronghold, with incumbent Democratic Governor Murphy just barely crawling to victory

When Democrats can't "find" 3,000 votes after midnight, then something is seriously wrong in the Democrat party.

Hell they don't even have a realistic Voter ID requirement....

How Green Berets set up their rifles
[Sandboxx] The world of service rifles is pretty standard, at least among conventional forces, but once we start looking into more specialized roles, we began to see a bit of variety pop up. And there are few more specialized roles within the military than serving in the one and only U.S. Army Special Forces, also known as Green Berets.

Special Forces operate at the pointy end of America’s foreign policy, often fighting in remote areas and alongside foreign allied or partnered forces. As such, they have specialized tools to accomplish their mission, and that includes their main rifle.

The core Green Beret rifle seems to be the M4A1 Block 2 rifle set. The ’Block’ rifles refer to a certain setup and accessory package utilized by Special Operations forces. Green Berets have access to any number of rifles, including Sniper rifles, DMRs, Anti-material rifles, submachine guns, and much more, so it’s a solid vote in the platform’s favor that the M4A1 is the main rifle of these Special Operations commandos.

Like standard M4s, the gun utilizes a 14.5-inch barrel, a flat-top upper receiver, collapsing stock, and railed handguard.

Russian Ministry of Defense remarks on USAF E-8C overflight in the Black Sea
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Facebook] "The Russian Armed Forces continue to continuously monitor and track the situation in the Black Sea region.

On November 9, in the period from 1415 hrs to 1928 hrs, a ground-based reconnaissance and strike control aircraft E-8C of the US Air Force was discovered over the Black Sea.

Throughout the entire flight over the Black Sea, the US Air Force reconnaissance aircraft was tracked by radar equipment of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The American E-8C aircraft, which took off from the Ramshtein airbase (Germany), for 5 hours and 13 minutes loitered in the air at echelons of 7-10 thousand meters over the north-western, central and north-eastern part of the Black Sea.

The minimum approach to the state border of the Russian Federation was 35 km.

USS Porter, USS Porter, USS John Lenthall and USS Mount Whitney, are currently stationed in the Black Sea region to participate in a US-Europe multinational exercise.

We are talking about the unscheduled actions of the US forces, which are creating a multinational grouping of armed forces in the immediate vicinity of the Russian border.

Such actions are a destabilizing factor in the Black Sea region, one of the goals of which is the military development of the territory of Ukraine.

Taking into account the fact that in addition to the US Navy, it is planned to use tactical, patrol and strategic aviation, as well as contingents of the armed forces of Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine, there is a study of the alleged theater of military operations in the event that Kiev prepares a military solution in the southeast."

Rittenhouse Trial Witness Says Prosecutors Asked Him To ‘Change' His Statement To Police
[Daily Wire] A witness in the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse testified Tuesday that prosecutors pushed him to change his statement to the police.

Amateur photographer Nathan DeBruin took the stand on Tuesday as one of four defense witnesses called that day. During his testimony, DeBruin recounted an earlier, uncomfortable meeting with prosecutors in which DeBruin said they pushed him to change a statement he gave to police regarding another man, Joshua Ziminski, whom prosecutors have charged with arson.

During the defense examination of the witness, defense attorney Mark Richards asked DeBruin to describe the meeting he had had with Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger and Assistant District Attorney James Kraus.

"I was called down to the district attorney’s office. I met with Mr. Binger and [Kraus] ... I was called into a room, sat at a table, handed my police statement, got to read over my police statement, and then I was asked if I would like to add anything to the police statement, and I said I would not," DeBruin began.

"Mr. Binger pulled out a cell phone and showed me a video and also a photo — which was actually one photo that I brought today — and asked me if I knew who a gentleman was in that photo, and I said I did not. ... He said, ’This is Joshua Ziminski.’ Mr. Binger also has a case with him, and I am subpoenaed for that case also," he continued. "He says, ’Well, that’s who that is.’ He put the phone down. He picked the phone back up and says, ’Who is this?’ And I confusingly said, like, Joshua Ziminski, and he said, ’Would you like to add that to your statement?’ and I just felt I didn’t want to change my statement."

DeBruin said that after that meeting he retained counsel. Richards closed his examination after the exchange.

Under cross-examination by Kraus, DeBruin testified that the prosecution asked him to "change" his statement, suggesting that prosecutors wanted DeBruin to give the police false information regarding his knowledge about Ziminski.
...

Ziminski has come up before in Rittenhouse’s trial. In opening statements, prosecutors and the defense said Ziminski fired shots into the air moments before Rittenhouse turned and fatally shot 36-year-old Joseph Rosenbaum in August 2020 during riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The defense team said that Rosenbaum and Ziminski together followed Rittenhouse. As The Daily Wire reported:

After the initial confrontation with Rosenbaum, the 36-year-old began following Rittenhouse. Rosenbaum was joined by Ziminski, Richards said, showing a photograph purportedly of the two men burning a vehicle and dumpster together earlier that night.

Rosenbaum had earlier in the night threatened to kill Rittenhouse and a friend, telling the two, "If I get either of you two alone, I’m going to kill you," according to Richards. As Rosenbaum followed Rittenhouse, he continued to threaten the teen. After Rittenhouse turned away from Rosenbaum the second time, Ziminski fired shots in the air and Rosenbaum rushed Rittenhouse, screaming "f*** you," Richards said.

Rittenhouse Trial Midday Update: Kyle Takes the Stand; Prosecutor Incurs Wrath of Judge
Below is the introduction to a lengthy commentary on the Rittenhouse trial. There are at least three videos at the link including the one where the judge tears ADA Binger a new one. It is highly entertaining.
[LegalInsurrection] Welcome to today’s Law of Self Defense ongoing coverage of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. I am, of course, Attorney Andrew Branca, for Law of Self Defense.

Today the trial heard testimony from the defendant himself, Kyle Rittenhouse—a high-stakes bet by the defense, and one that always has risk of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Fortunately for the defense, however, it appears that Assistant District Attorney Binger is leveraging this remarkable opportunity for the state to collapse not only the State’s own narrative of guilt in this trial, but to collapse the entire trial itself.

Indeed, so grievous has been Binger’s over-stepping on fundamental Constitutional rights of defendants, and curb-stomping on evidentiary rulings previously made by Judge Schroeder, that not only is the defense threatening to seek a mistrial with prejudice—meaning Rittenhouse could not be tried again, as would normally be permitted if there was a mistrial—but Judge Schroeder has repeatedly dismissed the jury during Binger’s cross-examination of Kyle to forcefully scold the prosecutor, and sometimes angrily shouting at him.

Throughout it all, Binger remains unable to pry even from the defendant himself any testimony that in any way undermines Kyle Rittenhouse’s core legal defense of self-defense. As usual, we’re hearing little but innuendo, snark, snide, and table pounding from the State.

Although Binger’s cross-examination could best be characterized as flailing from his first question until the moment a frustrated Judge Schroeder abruptly broke for lunch, there were three major incidents during the prosecutor’s cross of Rittenhouse that particularly frustrated the court.

#1  I honestly don't see any logic behind this prosecutor's unbelievably snide, contemptuous and over-the-top unprofessional behavior.

The defendant is a minor. All the evidence indicates that his motivation, intentions and actions were genuinely aimed at defending and protecting and rendering aid.

What does ADA Binger hope to achieve through his unprofessional behavior? Is Branca right -- that the purpose of being such a flaming asshole is merely to provoke Kyle into an angry outburst?

Can that possibly be the sum and substance of the prosecution's strategy?

If so, heaven help me and mine if one is is ever hauled in front of a court like this. For a case that is obviously one of self-defense.

#2  The logic behind this prosecution is anarcho-tyranny.

The Rittenhouse incident happened after days of Kenosha being under attack by an arsonist mob while law enforcement and the legal system remained passive.

#4  Huge Development — ‘Rittenhouse team just asked the Judge for a mistrial with prejudice

#5  Yes, I fear Rit's court challenges may have just begun. It's not about him per se. It's about self-defense, firearms, and support for continued anarchy.
Posted by: Besoeker || 11/11/2021 8:30 Comments || Top||

#6  During his testimony yesterday -- about four or fuce hours' worth of questioning in the stand -- the young man reached the derailed, point by point description of the first attempt by the raging anarchists to kill him. As he described their frenzied screams, the gunshots in his direction, and the deranged charge of the berserker who has repeatedly vowed to kill him and also "tear his f--ing heart out," this extraordinarily brave young man broke down. The video is heart-wrenching. His convulsive sobs caused the judge to clear the courtroom for ten minutes.

Could it be that, at that moment, this young was sobbing for us? From the realization that his country has descended into a nightmare of anarchy and political show trials?

Was this patriotic and noble young man overwhelmed by the sudden awareness that chaos is come, that the righteous law-abiding American citizen is now hunted down as Europe's Jews were in the lands where brownshirts roamed freely, supported by a fascist state?

Shame on this prosecutor.

Shame on this administration and on all the Democrats and their Republican stooges who have supported this racial hoax.

Shame on the despicable bastards who have brought our nation into this nightmare.

#7  The prosecution's case seems to be so poorly executed that one might suspect it is on purpose. Could it be the ADA is trying to obtain some form of justice for KR without offending his boss or the mob in the process?

* Actually, it began with Ferguson and Obama-Holder.

#9  When when police and fire protection are inadequate, when rioters are allowed to burn and loot, surprise, surprise, citizens come out of the woodwork to defend their property and businesses. None of this would have happened if the mayor of Kenosha and the governor of Wisconsin had been doing the jobs the people elected them to do. They are the ones who should be on trial for misfeasance.

But the bigger issue is all the rioting that took place all across the country that summer, sparked by the death of a black drug addict who died in police custody from a combination of resisting arrest and drug overdose. Democrats and even some Republicans either vilified police or remained silent, often encouraging the riots, while the mainstream media denied the violence and claimed that rioters who burned and looted were actually "mostly peaceful protesters".

Why? Do they really want to destroy America so they can Build Back Better? I think we all know what they really want to build and it won't be better.
Posted by: Abu Uluque || 11/11/2021 11:45 Comments || Top||

#10  * Actually, it began with Ferguson and Obama-Holder.

Actually, it began with Rodney King and George Bush Sr. We don't think of the elder Bush as a Build Back Better type but his chickenshit treatment of the LAPD set the tone that Obama merely followed.

People gonna riot every time a black man gets hurt or killed resisting arrest? Quell the damn riots. There is no excuse to do otherwise. Do NOT pander to BLM loudmouths and trouble makers. Responsible members of minority communities understand that they benefit from law and order just like whites. Do NOT pander to the Jessie Jacksons and Al Sharptons. Do NOT allow anarchy and chaos to destroy America.

Also, call out the mainstream media when they fan the flames with 10-second video clips that purport to show how bad the police are treating supposedly innocent black men who, in reality, are drug addicted criminals who need to go to jail. Tell the truth about what really happened and how dishonest and irresponsible some of these media types are.

Nothing is more terrifying, no bogeyman haunts their dreams more, than to be accused, regardless of evidence or logic, of being rayciss.

Common Afghan impersonating journalists flown out of Afghanistan: Afghan Journalists Union
[KhaamaPress] National Union of Journalists in Afghanistan has said that there has been vast fraud inside Afghanistan as common Afghans impersonating Afghan journalists flown out of the country.

The Union has claimed that non-journalistic bodies in Afghanistan have not only enlisted their close friends and relatives in the evacuation process as Afghan journalists but have also embezzled a large amount of national and international financial aids.

Head of the Union Masroor Lutfi claimed that there are some media who are selling certificated Afghan journalists in the black market and added that the Union can substantiate the claim with documents.

"The so-called journalists’ advocates in Afghanistan have never been journalists and they have been utilizing the names of journalists to take out relatives and friends." Claimed Lutfi.

In the meantime, Lutfi said that the National Union of Journalists has the ability and capacity to manage every international program for Afghan journalists and asked the international community to conduct their programs for Afghan journalists in coordination with the Union.

The claim comes as hundreds of Afghan journalists are still working on the ground and have received no support and aid from the international community while hundreds of others have been taken out utilizing the names of journalists and holding fabricated documents.

Department of Elections officials said Tuesday the department has certified a petition that seeks to recall San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin,
...Weatherman royalty backed by George Soros...
election officials said.

The special election to recall Boudin will take place on June 7, 2022, during the statewide primary election.

About two weeks ago, the group Safer SF Without Boudin announced it had already gathered 83,487 signatures from San Francisco voters who want to recall Boudin -- well over the 30,000 needed to for the June ballot.

The group alleges that Boudin has failed to prioritize the public's safety by being too lenient on repeat offenders.

Two former prosecutors with the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, former Assistant District Attorney Brooke Jenkins and former prosecutor Don du Bain, have joined the recall effort.

#1

HIS RESUME:
Both his parents were Weather Underground Domestic Terrorist members and arrested for Murder. Boudin was then adopted by Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrnand Weather Underground Domestic Terrorist Leaders and raised in Chicago.

He worked directly for Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in the Venezuelan Palace.

He is a DA that is Anti-Police.

He Anti-USA and Pro Social Reform

As DA, he has applied his liberal agenda to his office over the law.

Question:
Given his Liberal, Pro-Socialist, Radical reform upbringing and application history. Coupled with the fact he now knows he is up fro recall in June 2022.

Does anyone think he won't double down and go for broke?

#2  It is surprising that San Francisco still has citizens with enough guts and brains to mount this kind of effort.

#3  Big deal. There were enough signatures to force a recall election for Newsome, but he won pretty handily. I expect the same result here.

And, unfortunately, after winning a recall election, the perps are more emboldened than before and double down on their crazy actions.

600 ISIS-K affiliates arrested since mid-August: Mujahid
[KhaamaPress] Spokesperson of General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) Khalil Hamraz in a presser said that they have arrested 600 ISIS-K affiliates and have killed 33 more in the past three months.

This was his first presser that was held in Kabul on Wednesday, November 10.

Khalil Hamraz claimed that the overall security situation has been better and is getting better day by day.

"82 suspects of kidnapping arrested, 12 hostages released, 76 people accused of fabricating documents arrested in the past three months" added Hamraz.
In the meantime, the spokesperson of the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
Zabiullah Mujahid who also attended the presser said that the ISIS-K affiliates in Afghanistan are not the real ISIS fighters from Iraq and Syria.

Like always, Mujahid again underestimated the ISIS-K fighters in Afghanistan and claimed that this is a small group that is impressed by the ideology of ISIS.

Mujahid said that the Air Force of Afghanistan has been reactivated and asked the Afghan pilots to return to the country and join the forces.

"Invitations for most of the Afghan pilots have been extended and they were asked to join Afghan Air Force." Said Mujahid.
This comes as US has lately flown out nearly 200 Afghan pilots and military personnel from Tajikistan to that country.
The Times of Israel adds:
Spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid says there were even a few women among those captured, who would be questioned by other women.

Mujahid says that unlike its counterpart in the Middle East, IS-Khorasan was mostly made up of local fighters, and that its presence in Afghanistan is not a threat to other countries.
