Masked assailant filmed grabbing Hasidic child walking with father in Brooklyn

[IsraelTimes] A masked assailant is filmed grabbing a Hasidic child in Brooklyn who was walking with his father on Saturday afternoon.

The child’s father holds onto the boy’s hand, as he is flung into the air by the suspect, who then releases him. The father then separates his children from the suspect before they appear to go in separate directions.

The video is posted by a spokesperson for Chabad, who writes, “Something is clearly going on in Crown Heights—there have been incident after incident over the past two weeks.

IDF says Hezbollah tunnel found under south Lebanon cemetery
[IsraelTimes] Israeli troops operating in southern Lebanon this week located and sealed a large Hezbollah tunnel hidden under a cemetery, the military says.

The Israeli Air Force’s elite Shaldag unit and ground forces of the 36th Division raided the underground site this week following intelligence on its location. The IDF says that one of the entrances to the tunnel was hidden in a graveyard.

Inside the kilometer-long (0.6 mile-) tunnel, located about 1.5 kilometers (approximately one mile) from the border, the military says the troops found command and control rooms, sleeping quarters and weapon caches. A video released by the IDF shows dozens of weapons and other military equipment being stored in the tunnel.

According to the IDF, the tunnel was to be used by Hezbollah as a staging ground for a planned invasion of Israel.

After the tunnel was mapped out, it was sealed by pumping 4,500 cubic meters of concrete into it, the military says. Hundreds of trucks and cement mixers were involved in the operation.

Saudi Hezbollah fighter reportedly killed in Lebanon
An interesting variation on the usual Turban toes up thanks to IDF headline.
[IsraelTimes] A Saudi national fighting for Hezbollah was killed in Lebanon yesterday, according to the Lebanese paper, L’Orient Le Jour, seemingly marking the first such case of a citizen of the kingdom being killed in Israel’s war against the Iran-backed terror group.

The man, named as Omran Karim, hailed from the Shiite-majority city of Qatif on the eastern coast of Saudi Arabia. He worked as a dentist in Beirut’s southern Dahiyeh suburb, a Hezbollah stronghold, according to the paper.

Karim was reportedly the son of Ahmad Ibrahim al-Moughassil, aka Abu Omran, head of Hezbollah’s branch in Saudi Arabia and the mastermind of a 1996 terror attack that killed 19 US soldiers in the kingdom.

Al-Moughassil was arrested in Beirut by the Saudi intelligence service in 2015 and extradited to Saudi Arabia.

[IsraelTimes] Police say they have arrested an Israeli teen on suspicion of carrying of planning attacks for the Hamas terror group.

The 17-year-old, who is unnamed in line with privacy rules for minors, was arrested on October 15, authorities say.

“During questioning, it arose that the minor identifies and supports Hamas, and for a time was employed in planning various terror [activities],” police say in a statement. “He even planned to carry out an attack and took steps to prepare it.”

He is described by police as a resident of Israel’s Negev desert whose father is of “West Bank Palestinian extraction.”

DDoS cyberattack temporarily blocks Israeli credit card payments
[IsraelTimes] Two weeks after similar assault, clearing company Hyp says it was subject to cyberattack that affected some of its systems; Iran-linked hacker group reportedly claims responsibility

An Israeli clearing company was targeted in a cyberattack on Sunday, leaving some people unable to use their credit cards to shop in stores for several hours.

The incident came less than two weeks after a similar attack downed a different credit services company for a period of a few hours.

Channel 12 news and Army Radio both reported that an Iran-linked hacker group took responsibility for the attack, without citing sources or giving further details.

In Sunday’s incident, a DDoS attack targeted payment solution company Hyp, which is used by companies across Israel including the Maccabi health fund, taxi service Gett, food ordering app Wolt, and public transportation payment systems Rav Kav Online and Hop-On.

Hyp’s Credit Guard confirmed in a statement that it was the target of a cyberattack, and said it had since blocked the attack and returned to operating as normal.

The attack also interfered with some operations on Bit, the popular digital payment app operated by Bank Hapoalim, similar to the US-based Venmo.

According to data from cyber security company Check Point cited by Channel 12, cyberattacks on Israeli companies have increased 100 percent since last year, with the majority originating from Iran.

A similar attack last month targeted Israel’s credit Automated Bank Services, which said at the time that a DDoS attack caused many bodies connected to the company through the internet to experience disruptions in processing transactions.

The identities or motives of the attackers have not been revealed in either incident.

Israel said to believe US prepared to go ‘all the way’ with threats over Gaza aid crisis
Reason #285939 why Donald Trump was reelected president last Tuesday.
[IsraelTimes] Ahead of Wednesday deadline for increase of aid to enclave, US defense chief Austin reportedly gives ‘sharp’ message to new counterpart Katz that arms supply could be jeopardized

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin reportedly conveyed a "sharp" message to his new Israeli counterpart Israel Katz during their first phone conversation on Friday, saying Israel risks jeopardizing the ongoing provision of US weaponry for the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
war if it does not credibly show that it has improved the supply and distribution of aid to Gazook noncombatants.

A Channel 12 report on Saturday noted that in mid-October, Austin and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken
...71st United States secretary of state and a leading light of the corrupt and inept Biden administration. He previously served as deputy national security advisor from 2013 to 2015 and deputy secretary of state from 2015 to 2017 under the corrupt and inept Obama administration. He advocated for the 2003 invasion of Iraq while serving as the Democratic staff director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 2002 to 2008. He was a foreign policy advisor for the Biden 2008 presidential campaign. During his tenure in the Obama administration, Blinken helped craft B.O.'s policy on Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the nuclear program of Iran. We all saw how well each of those worked. After leaving government service, Blinken moved into the private sector, co-founding WestExec Advisors, a lobbying firm...
warned Israel in a letter that it had 30 days — until November 13 — to implement significant improvements to the humanitarian situation in Gaza or jeopardize the continued supply of US weapons.

The drop in aid supplies, they warned at the time, called into question Israel’s commitment that it would not restrict the entry of aid into Gaza and that it is using US weapons in line with international law.

That written commitment was provided last March in order to ensure Israel’s compliance with a national security memorandum (NSM) issued by Biden in February. The memo applies to all recipients of US security assistance.

With the 30-day period set to expire on Wednesday, Austin, according to Saturday’s TV report, urged Katz on Friday to raise the issue before the cabinet and said Israel needed to maintain what Katz told him was a recent increase in aid;. He also stressed the need to ensure there is no harm to noncombatants in Gaza war.

Katz reportedly responded that Israel is trying to cooperate on the aid issue, but Hamas
..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",...
keeps stealing supplies and selling them for high prices. Israel wants to be sure it reaches the populace, Katz said, and is working with Arab states to help ensure this.

The TV report said Israel believes the US intends to go "all the way" in pressing Israel on this issue, rather than letting it slide because the Biden administration will be out of office in two months.

In practice, the report said, this means that if Washington is not convinced there has been a dramatic change for the better as regards aid delivery and distribution, there could be a "direct collision" on the issue of arms supplies.

In its readout of the Austin-Katz call, the US Defense Department noted that the secretary emphasized "the need to improve the dire humanitarian conditions in Gaza."

Israel has greatly improved aid access to Gaza in recent weeks, US State Department front man Matthew Miller said last week, including the opening of the Kissufim Border Crossing, which brings the number of crossing points into the Strip to five.

While Israel has made progress on the matter, Miller said there was more work to be done to meet the requirements posed in the October 13 letter.

"We have continued to press them, and we have seen them take additional steps," Miller said, noting that the United States has also urged Israel to ensure that at least 350 aid trucks enter Gaza daily. On Tuesday, 229 trucks were allowed in, still below the target.

On Friday, the United Nations
...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships...
’ independent Famine Review Committee issued a rare warning that there was a "strong likelihood" of imminent famine in parts of north Gaza with immediate action required from the warring parties to ease a catastrophic situation.

The IDF rejected the FRC report, saying it relied on "partial, biased data and superficial sources with vested interests," and claimed that it was facilitating full aid transfer efforts to all areas of the Gaza Strip.

The IDF said that since the war started in October of last year, over 39,000 trucks carrying more than 840,000 tons of food have entered Gaza, and meetings were taking place daily with the UN, which had 700 trucks of aid awaiting pickup and distribution.

German police arrest far-left militant over attacks on neo-Nazis in Germany, Hungary
[IsraelTimes] Johann G., suspected of causing ‘severe bodily injuries,’ as well as property damage and forgery; believed part of ring in which four others were already jailed for assaults

German federal prosecutors on Saturday said they had arrested a left-wing Death Eater wanted by police for years over alleged physical attacks on members of far-right groups in Germany and Hungary.

Johann G., a German national, was detained on a train traveling between the eastern cities of Erfurt and Gera, over his suspected membership of a group led by Leipzig student Lina E., one of four activists nabbed
Book 'im, Mahmoud!

s.

He is "highly suspected of participating in a criminal organization" and of having committed attacks that led to "severe bodily injuries," "property damage" and "document forgery," prosecutors said in a statement.

The German interior ministry applauded the police forces for what it called "a major success."

"Left-wing Death Eater groups pose a significant danger. The threshold of restraint from attacking political adversaries with great brutality has lowered," Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said on X.

Police issued an arrest warrant against Johann G. in 2021 over his suspected role in assaults carried out in Germany in 2019 and 2020. The ring’s members targeted individuals they suspected were part of the "far-right scene" in carefully planned acts of violence, prosecutors said. On two occasions, they assaulted the owner and customers of a restaurant popular with neo-Nazis in the town of Eisenach, using batons and irritant sprays.

Johann G. is also accused of taking part in February 2023 attacks on the sidelines of a far-right gathering in Budapest attended by neo-Nazi Death Eaters from across Europe. The victims suffered bruising including to the head.

A court sentenced Lina E. in May 2023 to more than five years in jail for attacking neo-Nazis. She has become a symbol for far-left activists, with the slogan "Free Lina" frequently appearing at rallies.

"Opposing right-wing turbans is a respectable motive," said judge Hans Schlueter-Staats in his verdict at the time. But such attacks are still "serious criminal acts."

Israeli strike said to kill top Hezbollah assassin wanted for killing Lebanese PM
[IsraelTimes] Salim Jamil Ayyash was sentenced in absentia by UN-backed tribunal to life in prison for role in 2005 suicide bombing that killed Rafiq Hariri

A Hezbollah commander responsible for the liquidation of a former Lebanese prime minister was killed in a recent Israeli Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
, Saudi media reported Sunday.

The al-Arabiya outlet said Salim Jamil Ayyash was killed, with unconfirmed reports on social media claiming he was struck near the Syrian city of al-Qusayr, a known Hezbollah stronghold.

Ayyash, who had a $10 million reward from Washington on his head, was a senior member of Hezbollah’s Unit 151 liquidation squad, according to the US State Department.

In 2020, Ayyash was sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment by a UN-backed tribunal over the liquidation of former Lebanese prime minister Rafiq Hariri in a suicide kaboom in Beirut in 2005.

Then-Hezbollah leader His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah

, who was killed in an Israeli strike in late September, refused to hand him over to the authorities, alongside three other defendants who were eventually acquitted.

Ayyash faced a separate case at the tribunal over three other deadly attacks on Lebanese politicians in 2004 and 2005.

John Podhoretz: Pogrom 2024
See also here and here.
[Commentary] Early Friday morning in Amsterdam, in the shadow of the house in which Anne Frank hid and where her family was betrayed, rampaging mobs of Moslem men targeted Israeli attendees of a soccer match featuring the Maccabi team. They beat up men and women. They broke into buildings searching for Israelis to attack. They assaulted at least one child. For hours, the streets were not clear of them, as the authorities in the Dutch city had no clue what to do or how to engage. The mobs had been prepositioned at stadium exits, subway station entrances, and near and around the hotels at which Israelis who had come to town to support their team were staying. This was a pre-planned attack. We are mere days away from the 86th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the day when Jews and Jewish businesses were specifically targeted for arrest, injury, and destruction. We’ve only ever really seen still photographs of the damage. You want to know what Kristallnacht was like? Go to Twitter and watch the videos, taken by the GoPro cameras of the goons, and you’ll get some flavor of what the word "pogrom" means. We have just seen the first unambiguous pogrom after October 7.

So this is a rare moment to thank God for the existence of social media; without X the world would not have known that the horror was upon us.

But as it happens, I did, and for a very personal reason. A dear friend of mine, with whom I’ve shared a friends’ text chain for a decade, sounded the alarm because her 20 year old daughter was there—traveled to watch the game from another European city where she is studying abroad for the semester. The first word was this: "A is in Amsterdam. Was going to the Tel Aviv v Amsterdam soccer game. No, she didn’t tell me. Turns out the tickets weren’t working so they went to dinner. Tel Aviv won 5-0 and insanity broke out. The waiter had to use a crow bar to lock everyone inside the restaurant."

A little later I asked her if she’d heard from her daughter. She replied: "She’s in a hotel. Which is a dorm. I haven’t heard from her in a bit. She didn’t answer her phone so I hope she’s just sleeping." As I was reading this, I was watching a video of hooligans breaking into a hotel for the purpose of hunting down Israelis staying there. I did not mention this. I asked if she could see her daughter’s location on Find My Friends. She said, "I see her phone is working. She said she and her friend would stay in and watch movies.."

And my blood ran cold because as she was texting this, I was reading that there were at least three people who had fallen out of contact and whose families did not know where they were or what was happening.

Oh, and I knew that my friend’s father had himself survived the Holocaust in Poland from babyhood in the guise of a child of a Christian family. Finally she got the story from her daughter: "A said a van pulled up next to her and was asking her ’something palestina’ like did she agree. She said she played dumb and ran back inside. Then there were these fake bomb sounds and everyone was sprinting. She said it was terrifying." And she learned her daughter had been at the game but had left early because the entry tickets of some friends hadn’t worked and she went to meet them.

Then my friend said: "She’s like, should I not go to the Anne Frank house today?"

Meanwhile,
...back at the hoedown, the fiddler suddenly struck a sour note. The dancing stopped abruptly. Everyone looked at Bob...
in America this week, here’s what’s been happening. On Monday, an Orthodox boy was slapped off his bicycle by a man as he rode in his Brooklyn neighborhood on his way to school. Also on Monday, a speech by an Israel Arab delivered at a synagogue in reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown
...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel...
was disrupted by protestors who lay screaming on the floor and had to be dragged out. Also in Chicago, at DePaul University, two students—one of them an IDF reservist who had a shirt saying as much and offering to answer any questions anyone might have—were assaulted. As Rooters reported, "Chicago police identified the victims as two men, ages 21 and 27, and said two male offenders struck the 27-year-old about the face and body and pushed the 21-year-old to the ground then fled on foot....the students were standing near the student center just off campus property."

The mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson
...Hizzonner da Mare of Chicago. He was elected in April 2023 to replace the disastrous Lori Lightfoot and immediately set about out-Richtering her. A member of the Democratic Party (naturally), Johnson previously worked as a social studies teacher in the city's stellar public schools system. He helped organize the 2012 teachers strike. Prior to becoming Da Mare, he served on the Cook County Board of Boodlng Commissioners from 2018 to 2023...
, has yet to speak on either matter. It is important to note that it took Johnson four days to respond at all to the shooting of an Orthodox shul-goer on Shabbat morning by a gunman shouting Allahu Akbar, and this was his response, through a front man: "Mayor Johnson’s heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the victim and his loved ones from this weekend’s shooting incident that took place in Rogers Park. This tragic event should have never happened, and we recognize the dedication of our first responders who put their lives on the line during this shooting." Note the missing words. They are "Jew" and "anti-Semitism." Johnson is a Black Lives Matter radical decarcerationist, and his behavior here comes as no surprise to anyone who watched him win the office in 2023.

There was an outbreak of encampment action at Yale this week, where Jewish students had their pathway blocked. At Harvard, there was a "protest"—which is to say, an unlawful disruption in a private area—in a library where foul goons shouted about genocide and settler colonialism. Courses were announced for 2025 at Cornell and Columbia on the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks.
"genocide." And in the reporting of the invaluable AMCHA Initiative, at the University of Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, at Santa Cruz, "the Critical Race and Ethnicities Studies program shared on the program’s Instagram story a call for students to join the Students for Justice in Paleostine group, stating, ’Interested in advancing justice, liberation and self-determination for the Paleostinian people? Join SJP!’ with accompanying imagery stating ’Student Intifada —We are the revolution of the people’ with an image of a keffiyeh-clad individual firing a rock sling." This program is an officially recognized major, run by tenured faculty and administrators.

The premeditated Amsterdam pogrom of 2024
See also here and here.
[IsraelTimes] What we know now is that the mob attacks on Jews in Amsterdam were premeditated, planned, and sent around on multiple social media groups days before the pogrom.

We also know that taxi drivers were part of it, part of this coordinated effort to corral Israelis and to not let them escape. Israelis reported getting in taxi cabs thinking they were escaping but being brought to side streets to the waiting mob. All along the train route from the stadium, mobs waited on either side of the tracks for the fans to alight. They had knives, sticks, batons, and fireworks which they set off at the Jews.

Jews had to jump into canals, hide in stores, and in random people’s apartments, to escape the bloodthirsty assailants who asked for people’s ID to know where they were from even posting some Israeli IDs on Telegram.

We also know that the Israeli government sent warnings as early as that morning to the Amsterdam authorities regarding these planned attacks but they were not heeded.

We also know that the police, other than in very few instances, stood by and even refused to protect the Israelis that came to them for help- this is an addition to security forces refusing to guard Jewish spaces in Amsterdam in the preceding months.

Returning Israelis reported that in the days leading up to the game they were harassed in public places and casinos for being Israeli/Jews.

A number of Jewish Israelis were saved by a Druze Israeli citizen who spoke Arabic to the perpetrators, throwing them off the trail. He went back and forth saving groups of Jews from the frothing mob. His name is Melhem Asad and he is a hero.

There are people trying to justify these attacks by posting two videos from Amsterdam earlier in the day, one is Israelis taking down a Paleostinian flag, and the other is fans on an escalator chanting a very very stupid soccer chant in support of the IDF against Arabs.

As to the first, there are social media posts where groups are telling one another to put Paleostinian flags everywhere near where the Israelis are staying in the hopes that they can catch one of them ripping it down.

As to the second, I’m not a soccer fan but I am well aware that soccer fans for whatever reason are known as the most testosterone leaden aggressive sort of fans and while I most certainly do not condone their chants (and find it to be extremely unselfaware and stupid at the best of times let alone now) it’s a whole lot of bull to try and justify a pre-planned premeditated coordinated pogrom because of chants... if I recall correctly, chanting in the streets isn’t considered terror ... right?

I do find it ironic of course to expect Israelis not to react to the flag that has become a symbol of terror (or to the burning of the Israeli flag) and yet to be appalled when they chant to let the IDF against those very people.

At the end of the day, what we know is that Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
has failed to protect its Jews once again. The hate is dressed up differently, but it is the same.

Of all of the perpetrators who kicked, punched, stabbed, humiliated, chased, pummeled, terrorized Jews, none are in jug. They are all free on the streets.

The Israeli government sent 10 planes to retrieve its citizens in a rescue effort. From Europe, in 2024.

Amsterdam, indeed, Europe and the rest of the Western World, the premeditated Amsterdam pogrom of 2024 may be your last warning before the end cannot be rewritten.

[IsraelTimes] Hundreds rally against Israel, claim Maccabi soccer fans ‘attacked our city’; ban on demonstrations extended to Thursday, as police chief reports ongoing anti-Jewish incidents

Dutch police arrested dozens of anti-Israel demonstrators on Sunday, after they defied a temporary ban on protests, imposed after mass violence against Israeli tourists following a Thursday night soccer game in Amsterdam.

Hundreds of demonstrators had gathered in the capital city’s Dam Square, in defiance of the ban. There, protesters denounced the Israelis who attended the soccer game, in which Maccabi Tel Aviv faced off against local Ajax.

After the ban’s extension was ratified on Sunday, police moved in to break up the protest, instructing protesters to leave and rounding up more than 100 of them, according to a Rooters journalist.

They were put on buses and dropped off on the outskirts of the city, police spokesperson Ramona van den Ochtend said, without confirming how many had been picked up.

One protester was taken to an ambulance bleeding.

At the protest Sunday, a demonstrator declared that the Israeli fans "attacked our city, attacked our people." A photo shared on social media also featured a small group of protesters with a banner reading "Israelis against genocide."

Protest organizers said in an Instagram message on Sunday that they were outraged by the "framing" of the riots as antisemitic and called the protest ban draconian.

"We refuse to let the charge of antisemitism be weaponized to suppress Paleostinian resistance," they said, using a phrase frequently invoked by the proponents of terrorism against Israeli civilians.

Videos of the attacks, which occurred after the game, show at least one perpetrator proclaiming a "Jew hunt," and another person, under assault, insisting he is not Jewish in order to avoid being hurt. Another clip showed a man with a kippah in the street being badgered by rioters demanding to know where he was from as he tried to get away.
More from the Times of Israel:
Local police chief Olivier Dutilh told the court on Sunday that the ban was still needed as antisemitic incidents were also reported on Saturday night, local TV station AT5 reports.

Dutilh told the court that people had been pushed out of taxis and intimidated by others who asked to see their passports on the streets.

Colorado Republicans, Democrats react to Republican Gabe Evans claiming victory
[Denver7] Trailing by around 2,500 votes, incumbent Democrat Yadira Caraveo conceded the race on Sunday.

For nearly a week, the race to represent Colorado's 8th Congressional District has been too close to call. Officially, the race has not been called, with roughly 2,500 votes separating the candidates.

On Sunday, incumbent Democrat Representative Yadira Caraveo conceded the race and her Republican challenger Gabe Evans declared victory.

In a statement issued Sunday, Caraveo said in part:

While this isn’t the outcome we had hoped for, the work is not over. I look forward to returning to Washington to finish out this term and will continue to be an independent voice for the people of this district.”

Meanwhile, Evans released a statement saying in part, he is "humbled to be chosen as the next Congressman for Colorado’s 8th" and thanked Caraveo for her "service and gracious concession."

Evans plans to speak publicly on Monday.

Colorado's 8th Congressional District is the newest in the state, and encompasses most of Adams, along with portions of Weld and Larimer counties. It was created after redistricting in 2020.

The First Vice Chairman of the Weld County Republicans, Hunter Rivera, is excited about Evans' victory.

"Over the last two years, our goal has always been to win Congressional District 8, and a lot of hard work has paid off to get us to this point," Rivera said. “Most of us did not expect the Weld dump from yesterday to be as good as it was. I mean, that changed a lot of our races here in Weld County. It definitely did.”

Rivera said the 8th Congressional District is likely the most competitive district in Colorado.

"You have Adams County. I would dare to say Adams County is a pretty blue County. You have Weld County. We're a very deep red county here in the here in the state," Rivera explained.

The race has received national attention due to it's impact on which party will control Congress.

“Over the last few days, when we kind of didn't know the results of this election, it was very interesting. Some of the calls I was getting on, and they're like, 'Well, we have these people from Elon Musk's team coming out here. We have people from Trump's team coming out here,'" Rivera recalled.

With Evans securing the seat, Colorado will send four Republicans and four Democrats to Congress.

"I think there's a lot of common ground between Republicans and Democrats. I really believe in bipartisanship," Rivera said. “My hope for Congress, regardless of which party ends up winning the majority, is I really hope they can reach across the aisle and deliver for the American people."

Adams County Clerk and Recorder Josh Zygielbaum told Denver7, this election brought an "unprecedented number of ballots" and a severe snowstorm forced building closures, combined with travel risks, which impacted their timeline. As of Sunday, Zygielbaum said there's around 1,290 ballots related to the 8th Congressional District that still need to be processed. Military and overseas ballots have until Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. to arrive, which is the same deadline for any ballots that must be cured.

Zygielbaum continued to say, "we are committed to processing ballots as quickly as possible and uploading accurate results to the Secretary of State’s website as soon as possible.”

Federal legislation seeks $15B in assistance for victims of Hurricane Helene.
[JustTheNews] If bill becomes law, Biden would be able to create a board that could suspend or modify regulations and laws that can slow recovery.

Two bills have been filed in the U.S. House of Representatives directed at disaster relief following the catastrophic impact of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina and other states in the South.

Authored by U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-N.C., the legislation is supportive of an Oct. 3 letter signed by 14 members of the House and directed to President Joe Biden and four members of his Cabinet.

“Congress can, and should, pursue commonsense solutions to aid in disaster recovery efforts – the solutions that I have placed on the table help lead the way,” Foxx wrote on social media.

The Disaster Recovery and Resilience Act of 2024, also known as House Resolution 10087, in part amends the Stafford Act. A low bidder for work in a federal disaster declaration area can be awarded the work separate of payment requirements backed by the union.

The president, if the bill becomes law, would be able to create an Emergency Recovery Board inclusive of federal, state and local entities that navigates suspension or modification of regulations and laws that can slow recovery and development.

The Helene Recovery Support Act, also known as House Resolution 10088, would appropriate $12.5 billion to FEMA. Further, it appropriates $1.5 billion to the Small Business Administration, $1 billion to the New Markets Tax Credit, and rescinds $15 billion from the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp.

In their letter, the congressional delegation said discretion is needed with regard to the National Environmental Policy Act in order for people of the region to “rebuild and return to normal.”

“The federal government,” the letter reads in part, “can support these communities by ensuring federal regulations are waived or interpreted to provide maximum discretion to state and local authorities, consistent with applicable laws and regulations.”

The letter is addressed to Biden, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Interior Department Secretary Deb Haaland, Federal Emergency Management Agency Administrator Deanne Criswell, and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan.

The letter is signed by Foxx and U.S. Reps. Dr. Greg Murphy, R-N.C.; Chuck Edwards, R-N.C.; Dan Bishop, R-N.C.; Patrick McHenry, R-N.C.; David Rouzer, R-N.C.; Richard Hudson, R-N.C.; Dr. Richard McCormick, R-Ga.; William Timmons, R-S.C.; John Rose, R-Tenn.; Kat Cammack, R-Fla.; and Dr. Neal Dunn, R-Fla.

The mountain counties of North Carolina on Friday began the seventh week of recovery from the storm which came ashore in the Big Bend of Florida. Helene dissipated over the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee, dumping more than 30 inches of rain in multiple places.

Helene is responsible for 231 fatalities across the South, including 102 in North Carolina. Respective state officials say 49 were killed in South Carolina, 34 in Georgia, 25 in Florida, 18 in Tennessee, two in Virginia and one in Indiana. Numbers were confirmed by The Center Square based on information supplied by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services; South Carolina Department of Public Safety; Georgia Emergency Management Agency; Florida Department of Law Enforcement; Tennessee Emergency Management Agency; Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin; and the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office in Indiana.

Helene is the fourth most deadly hurricane from the Atlantic Basin in the last three-quarters of a century. Only Katrina (2005, deaths 1,392), Audrey (1957, deaths 416) and Camille (1969, deaths 256) killed more people.

Flooding was catastrophic, arguably the worst storm for North Carolina since Hurricanes Floyd in 1999 and Hazel in 1954 – the latter the only Category 4 hurricane to make landfall on state shores, the former causing a once in 500 years flood.

According to PowerOutage.us on Friday morning, the total without power in Yancey County is 304. At the height of the storm the last weekend of September, more than 1 million lost power.

According to DriveNC.org, the total road closures because of Helene is 292. This includes one interstate, 21 federal highways, 29 state roads and 241 secondary roads.

Speculation maybe, but who else in Washington has as much power as they do? The lobbies?

Who are the traditional lobbies? Oil? Auto industry? Those guys have seen their influence wane as the green monster has picked up steam. Big Pharma? Big Tech? Probably, since they have been caught serving the interests of the progressives in government. Defense manufacturers? Yeah, maybe them too. We all know what Eisenhower said about them. "

Sad: Liberal Forced To Have Second Meltdown After Forgetting To Press Record
[Bee] BURBANK, CA — Liberal woman Marcie Galveston was forced to film herself having a second post-election meltdown this week after she realized she forgot to hit the record button on her phone the first time around.

"WHY??? WHY?????" screeched Galveston, tears running down her cheeks. "I'm shaking, I'm so terrified! Look what you did, you sick freaks! I'm literally no longer safe as a woman, are you happy? I just can't believe over half the country is so RACIST and SEXIST and... oh wait a second. My phone isn't on. Aw, man. Gonna have start this whole thing from the beginning."

Despite the setback, Galveston worked hard to drum up new tears and access that same level of rage as she set her phone up against the kitchen backsplash a second time and put it on selfie mode.

"Yeesh, it's hard to get that level of emotion on a second take," she said. "Come on, Marcie, you can do this. Think about the trans gulags, the internment camps for gays. ARGH. The tears aren't coming, the tears aren't coming!"

At publishing time Galveston was seen holding an onion under her eyes while reading The New York Times in an effort to spark tears of rage again.

Massachusetts Progressives Call on Fellow Dem Rep. Seth Moulton to ‘Resign' over Trans Sports Comments
[Breitbart] Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) has been accused of "betraying" his own party for speaking out against male transgender athletes in girls’ sports, with one Salem lawmaker even calling on him to resign.

"Democrats spend way too much time trying not to offend anyone rather than being brutally honest about the challenges many Americans face," Moulton said in an interview with the New York Times published Thursday.

"I have two little girls. I don’t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete, but as a Democrat, I’m supposed to be afraid to say that," he added.

Moulton’s campaign manager and director of his political committee, Matt Chilliak, immediately resigned without commenting on the controversy, according to the Boston Globe.

In the congressman’s hometown of Salem, Mayor Dominick Pangallo and the School Committee sent out a joint memo saying Moulton’s remarks "do not reflect our values."

"We want to reassure our LGBTQ+ students that we as district leaders will always celebrate your identities, support your dreams and aspirations, and applaud your accomplishments," the email to Salem residents stated.

Progressive Massachusetts state Rep. Manny Cruz (D) took to X to denounce the congressman’s stance, saying Moulton "betrayed" his previous commitment to stand against anti-LGBTQ hate crimes:

Trump confirms NYer Elise Stefanik will be his enforcer to the UN: ‘Strong, tough, and smart'
[NY Post] Suck it, Mark Cuban
New York Rep. Elise Stefanik has accepted President-elect Donald Trump’s offer to be his enforcer as United Nations ambassador, The Post can reveal.

The 40-year-old upstate Republican, who helped force out two Ivy League presidents with her sharp questioning on campus antisemitism, will the lead Trump’s "America first" and pro-Israel message in Turtle Bay.

"I am honored to nominate Chairwoman Elise Stefanik to serve in my Cabinet as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Elise is an incredibly strong, tough, and smart America First fighter," Trump, 78, said in a statement to The Post Sunday night.

Stefanik, the No. 4 House Republican, has been a close Trump ally, including serving on his ceremonial defense team in 2020 during his first impeachment trial for pressuring Ukraine to investigate alleged Biden family corruption.

The Harvard grad worked to turn the tables on what she called the "Biden Crime Family" and has regularly appeared on TV to drive home the Republican positions on issues — setting up a likely a contrast from the outgoing UN ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, who rarely courted media attention.

"I am truly honored to earn President Trump’s nomination to serve in his Cabinet as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations," Stefanik said in a statement confirming her acceptance of the role.

"During my conversation with President Trump, I shared how deeply humbled I am to accept his nomination and that I look forward to earning the support of my colleagues in the United States Senate."

-Land of the Free
Veterans Day Reminds Us Real Heroes Wear Combat Uniforms and Keep the USA Free
[Breitbart] In a superficial world where pro athletes and Hollywood actors are sometimes considered heroes, Veterans Day exists to remind us that real heroes wore combat uniforms and kept the USA free.

Veterans are rightly praised for their service as they are the ones who literally put their lives on the line for this nation. Among them are combat veterans who said goodbye to their families for deployments — sometimes numerous deployments — and who fought against barbaric fascists in World II, were often overlooked for holding the ground in Korean, crawled under live fire in Vietnam jungles while dodging Viet Cong attacks, and lived and breathed in the intensely dangerous environment of IEDs and suicide bombers in Afghanistan and Iraq.

They came home yet still paid a price that civilians complaining about the minutia of everyday life cannot comprehend.

Veterans who did not see combat are heroes as well because they were willing to don the uniform and undergo the basic and specialty training in order to be able to serve in combat if called to do so.

If you take time to sit down with a veteran and talk about his service, you will find that whether he was in the brown water navy taking machine gun fire in Vietnam or sitting on a large ship in blue water, far from the dangers of a Viet Cong attack, his heart still breaks over the fact that bureaucrats in Washington, DC, prevented the U.S. military from winning the war.

If you were ever fortunate enough to speak to a POW who was held by fascists in WWII and treated with an inhumanity that eludes words, you no doubt remember them brushing aside any praise to say, "I was just doing my duty." Perhaps you recall seeing their eyes lock onto something in the distance, or perhaps something playing out in their minds as if it were right now, and they talk nostalgically about what it means to form and defend a band of brothers.

I am convinced that these are things civilians cannot fully understand, myself included. However, I also believe that these are things over which we should be proud and grateful — things that cause us to make time to walk up to a veteran and say, "thank you."

Freedom isn’t free folks, and it never has been.

PA Republican Dave McCormick will attend Senate orientation Tuesday despite Schumer's attempt to block him
[PM] Payback to Schumer should be hard, prolonged, and painful
Senator-elect Dave McCormick is coming to Washington on Monday to attend Senate orientation sessions. He’s daring Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to tell him that he can’t attend.

Schumer has not invited McCormick to attend, claiming the results of the Pennsylvania Senate election are yet to be determined, even though McCormick has been declared the winner, according to Fox News. Sen. Bob Casey has refused to concede defeat.

Schumer, who will lose his status as majority leader when the Senate convenes in January with a Republican majority, remains in denial over the results. "With over 100,000 ballots left to be counted in Pennsylvania, the race has not been decided. As is custom, we will invite the winner once the votes are counted."

Several Republican senators demanded some sense of reality from Schumer on X. "@AP declared @DaveMcCormickPA winner of #PASen 3 days ago. Denying legit election results & blocking @DaveMcCormickPA from participating in Sen. orientation this week is outrageous & a disservice [to]PA & the country. Casey should concede. He has no path to overturn these results," wrote National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) Chairman Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT).

"Schumer and Senate Democrats are denying the election results in #PASen. Trying to block @DaveMcCormickPA from attending Senate orientation this week is an outrage. Casey must concede immediately or Senate Democrats face consequences," said Senate Republican conference Chairman John Barrasso (R-WY).

The AP called the Pennsylvania Senate race on Nov. 7: 48 hours after Election Day. McCormick is over 30,000 votes ahead of his Democratic opponent. .

Crew-8 astronauts remain mum about post-splashdown medical issue
[SpaceNews] The three NASA astronauts who returned to Earth on the Crew-8 mission declined to discuss the medical issue that prompted a trip to the hospital after their return and, for one of them, an overnight stay.

NASA astronauts Michael Barratt, Matthew Dominick and Jeanette Epps, along with Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin, returned to Earth Oct. 25 on a Crew Dragon spacecraft, concluding the 235-day Crew-8 mission. But later that day NASA said that the four were taken to a Pensacola, Florida, hospital for additional medical evaluations "out of an abundance of caution." One of the NASA astronauts was hospitalized in stable condition there, but released the next day "in good health."

NASA did not disclose the identity of the astronaut who was hospitalized or the specific medical concern that prompted the hospital visit. At a Nov. 8 press conference to discuss their mission, the three NASA astronauts declined to discuss details about the incident, citing medical privacy.

"Spaceflight is still something we don’t fully understand. We’re finding things we don’t expect sometimes, and this was one of those times," Barratt, a doctor, said of what he called the "medical event" after splashdown. "We’re still piecing things together on this and so, to maintain medical privacy and to let our processes go forward in an orderly manner, this is all we’re going to say about that event at this time."

He deflected later questions at the briefing about the hospitalization. "Space medicine is my passion," he said. "In the fullness of time, we will allow this to come out and be documented. For now, medical privacy is very important to us. We maintain that always in many things we do. The same with due process. Both of those negate our ability to talk about it today."

All three said they were gradually adjusting after nearly eight months in microgravity. "It’s a very slow progression," said Dominick.

"Everyone’s different, and that’s the part you can’t predict," added Epps.

The briefing came a day after NASA batted down rumors about a health issue with an astronaut currently on the International Space Station. Several articles claimed that astronaut Sunita Williams was in poor health, claims traced to one non-NASA doctor’s assessment of a single image of Williams, taken in September, where the doctor claimed that Williams appeared "gaunt."

NASA spokesperson Cheryl Warner said Nov. 7 that Wiliams was in good health and that doctors were not "tracking any concerns" with her or other members of the station’s crew: "All NASA astronauts aboard the International Space Station undergo routine medical evaluations, have dedicated flight surgeons monitoring them, and are in good health." Notably, other images of Williams on the station posted by NASA more recently appear to show her in good health.
Spacewalk scrubs

Before their splashdown, the biggest issue faced by the Crew-8 astronauts was a pair of aborted spacewalks in June. One spacewalk involving Dominick and NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson was called off because of what NASA called at the time a "spacesuit discomfort issue," while one later in the month involving Barratt and Dyson was aborted after an umbilical line connecting Dyson’s suit to station systems leaked water when disconnected.

"It was not a trivial leak," Barratt said at the briefing. Since the airlock hatch was open, the leaking water turned to ice, creating "a blizzard" of ice particles. "It was very dramatic."

He praised Dyson for "nowhere short of heroic" actions to reconnect the umbilical despite her hands and visor being covered with ice. "Getting the airlock closed was me grabbing her legs and using her as an end effector to lever that thing closed," he said.

"There was a bit of drama. Everything worked out fine and, again, normal processes and procedures saved our bacon," he concluded.

He said the problem was traced to a poppet valve "that didn’t quite seat" on the umbilical’s interface with the suit. "I think we solved that problem by changing out the whole umbilical." By the time that umbilical was replaced, though, it was too late to begin preparations for another spacewalk before the end of their time on the station.

At a Nov. 4 briefing about the launch of the SpX-31 cargo mission to the station, Bill Spetch, NASA ISS operations and integration manager, said the next spacewalks from the station are planned for early 2025. He also said that "hoses and other components" in the umbilical were replaced and tested. "All systems on the suit worked as expected."

Dominick, at the Crew-8 briefing, had little to add about the suit discomfort issue that called off his spacewalk. "We’re still reviewing it and trying to figure all the details out," he said.

He acknowledged "frustration" with not being able to perform the spacewalk after years of training on the ground. "There’s no surprise there that there’s frustration that you put all that effort, all those years, and you’re in the suit ready to go outside and you don’t," he said.

BlackSky has taken full ownership of smallsat manufacturer LeoStella
[SpaceNews] BlackSky has taken full ownership of smallsat manufacturer LeoStella, giving the remote sensing company greater control over the production of its next generation of imaging satellites.

In a Nov. 7 earnings call to discuss its third quarter financial results, BlackSky announced it acquired the 50% of LeoStella it did not already own from Thales Alenia Space, the other partner in the joint venture. The company did not disclose financial terms of the deal.

The deal was completed on Nov. 6, according to BlackSky’s 10-Q filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). “We expect that this acquisition will allow the Company to improve its control over the Gen-3 supply chain and production operations,” the company stated in the filing, which also did not disclose financial details about the transaction.

Gen-3 is the next generation of imaging satellites that LeoStella has been producing for BlackSky. The new satellites promise increase performance in terms of resolution and revisit rates over the company’s existing Gen-2 spacecraft, with additional capabilities such as shortwave infrared imaging and intersatellite links. The company anticipates a baseline constellation of at least a dozen of those satellites.

During the earnings call, Brian O’Toole, chief executive of BlackSky, said the first Gen-3 satellite is in the “final testing phase” after which it will be shipped to New Zealand for launch on a Rocket Lab Electron. He did not disclose a projected launch date for the satellite other than it will take place three to four weeks after shipment.

He said that acquiring the half of LeoStella it did not own would improve efficiencies in the production of future Gen-3 satellites. “To support our Gen-3 production objectives, we’ve taken active steps to further optimize the Gen-3 supply chain and production operations, which includes the acquisition of our partner stake in LeoStella,” he stated.

BlackSky, then a part of Spaceflight Industries, announced the creation of the LeoStella joint venture with Thales Alenia Space in 2018 as part of a $150 million Series C round. LeoStella opened a satellite factory in a Seattle suburb in 2019 that would be used to both produce BlackSky satellites as well as those from other customers.

While LeoStella did win business from other companies, such as Loft Orbital, and sought to enter defense markets, BlackSky was its major customer. In an Oct. 24 press release to announce that BlackSky and LeoStella jointly were selected for a Space Development Agency program that makes them eligible to compete for future experimental satellite missions, LeoStella stated that it has delivered 23 satellites to date, 19 of which were in orbit. Most of those would be for BlackSky.

O’Toole was vague about whether LeoStella would continue to sell satellites to third parties now that it is wholly owned by BlackSky. “Right now, BlackSky is the primary customer for LeoStella. So, we’ve been essentially funding that business through our existing satellite production contracts,” he said. LeoStella’s focus, he said, will be “on the scaling of Gen-3 and optimizing those production operations.”

Notably, LeoStella’s website now redirects to BlackSky’s site, which makes no mention of satellite manufacturing capabilities.

O’Toole said in the earnings call that despite buying out Thales Alenia’s stake in LeoStella, the two companies would continue to work together. “Our partnership with Thales remains really strong,” he said. “We’re continuing to partner worldwide on bringing Gen-3 capability combined with their offerings to the market.”

BlackSky reported $71.7 million in revenue in the first nine months of this year, a 22% increase over the same period in 2023. It said it had adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of $4.3 million through the first nine months of the year, compared to negative adjusted EBITDA of $10.3 million in the same period last year.

Spaceplane developer Reaction Engines goes bankrupt
[SpaceNews dot com]
Reaction Engines Ltd., a British company that has worked for decades on an air-breathing rocket engine for spaceplanes and other hypersonic vehicles, has filed for bankruptcy.

The company formally entered administration, a process under United Kingdom law to allow for the restructuring or liquidation of companies in financial distress, on Oct. 31 after attempts to raise additional funding fell through. PricewaterhouseCoopers has been appointed as administrators of the company during the process, and under U.K. law has eight weeks to develop a plan to restructure or sell the company, or else liquidate its assets.

As part of the company’s administration process, most of its approximately 200 employees have been laid off. An industry source said that, given the company’s struggles to raise money, the most likely course of action will be liquidation.

The company, founded in 1989, is best known for the Synergetic Air Breathing Rocket Engine (SABRE), an engine concept proposed by the company intended for use on spaceplanes that would allow them to reach orbit without the need for boosters. SABRE would use hydrogen and oxygen, taking oxygen from the air through a unique “precooler” design at lower altitudes and speeds and switching to onboard supplies of liquid oxygen as it ascended towards orbit.

The company proposed using SABRE on a spaceplane called Skylon, a single-stage vehicle that could carry 17 tons to low Earth orbit. Work on Skylon did not advance beyond the conceptual stage, and the company acknowledged that development of Skylon would have cost more than $10 billion.

Reaction Engines continued to work on key technologies for SABRE, securing relatively modest government awards like an $11 million grant from the European Space Agency in 2016. Large aerospace companies, including BAE Systems and Rolls-Royce, invested in the company as it sought other applications for SABRE and its technology, such as for hypersonic vehicles.

The company established an American subsidiary, Reaction Engines Inc., which set up a facility at the Colorado Air and Space Port, an airport east of Denver, for testing elements of SABRE technology like its precooler. That subsidiary is also included in the administration.

Israeli army slams soldiers for burning Lebanese flag
[NAHARNET] The Israeli military has accused a group of soldiers of burning a Lebanese flag in southern Leb
...an Iranian satrapy until recently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
where they are fighting Hezbollah.

The military spoke after a video circulated on social media showing around half a dozen people dressed in Israeli uniforms jumping and singing a religious maxim as one of them sets fire to the flag with a lighter.
Dumb move
"We view the act of some soldiers burning the Lebanese flag in southern Lebanon as a violation of orders, inconsistent with the values of the defense forces, and misaligned with the goals of our military activities in Lebanon," said military front man Avichay Adraee.

"Our war is against the terrorist Hezbollah, which has never been truly Lebanese in creed, ideology, or identity," he added in an Arabic-language post on social media platform X.

The post did not mention any possible sanctions against the soldiers.

It did include an old video allegedly showing a Hezbollah supporter tearing a Lebanese flag off its pole and replacing it with the group's banner.

Israel has been at war with Hezbollah since late September, when it broadened its focus from fighting Hamas
..one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede,...
in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks.
Strip to securing its northern border, even as the Gaza war continues.

Hezbollah began low intensity strikes on Israel in support of Hamas following its ally's October 7, 2023 attack on Israel which triggered the Gaza war.

There are also plenty of indentured servants owned by the Cartels. The US's historic indentured servants were white and skilled. They often served for more than a decade, before the debt was paid and they became freemen. Employers should be required to sponsor and pay for any illegals they hire.

#11  Implement serious enforcement of the E-Verify System, discipline the massive remittances sending billions OCONUS, require citizenship verification for public assistance, and watch the self-deportations swell. As an added bonus, provide free one-way passenger rail/bus service, with meals, to the southern border and a modest exit gift bag and it will flow like a river. Those who sign up get no permanent bar to legal entry in the future. Those caught and deported are barred for life.

Israel strikes house in Baalbek city
[NAHARNET] Lebanese official media reported an Israeli strike on a house in the main eastern city of Baalbek on Sunday, which was not preceded by an Israeli army evacuation warning.

"Enemy aircraft launched a strike on a house in the al-Lakkis neighborhood" of the city, the state-run National News Agency said.

Earlier, NNA had reported a rare Israeli strike north of Beirut, on the Shiite-majority village of Almat, which is located in a mostly Christian region.

Overnight and Sunday morning, Israel conducted a series of air strikes on southern and eastern villages and locations, NNA said.

On Saturday, Israeli strikes killed 20 people in eastern Leb

Israel intensified its air campaign mainly targeting Hezbollah bastions in Lebanon's east and south and in southern Beirut on September 23 and a week later sent in ground troops.

The escalation came after nearly a year of low-intensity, cross-border attacks by Hezbollah in support of its Paleostinian ally Hamas

— Hezbollah — continues carrying out ceaseless operations against the Israeli occupation, commencing its first of the day at exactly midnight on Sunday by bombarding an Israeli soldier gathering near Hasan's Gate in the southern Lebanese village of Shebaa using a rocket salvo.

Israeli enemy soldiers deployed in the Hagoshrim settlement in north al-Jalil, as well as in the eastern area between the Lebanese villages of Markaba and Houla, were both targeted with a rocket salvo each.

Hezbollah's Resistance® fighters monitored and directly confronted an Israeli infantry force trying to infiltrate the southwestern outskirts of Aitaroun in South Lebanon, inflicting severe losses among its members, who fell casualty between killed and maimed.

Alongside Even Menachem, Hezbollah coordinated three other simultaneous attacks, making it four at 11:40, targeting each of the Shtula, Zar'it, and Shomera settlements with a rocket barrage each.

A squadron of one-way attack drones was deployed and accurately hit its target, an Israeli soldier gathering, in the Avivim settlement in northern occupied Paleostine as well.

The Shraga military base, located north of the occupied city of Akka, was barraged with Hezbollah's rockets as its sixth operation takes course, at 11:08 am.

In the span of 20 minutes, between 1:30 and 1:50 pm, Hezbollah targeted an Israeli soldier gatherings in the al-Qaba hills on the southeastern outskirts of Markaba thrice, using three separate rocket barrages.

Hezbollah also announced three operations conducted on Saturday evening, two of which targeted Israeli soldier gatherings at the al-Abbad military site. The Islamic Resistance® deployed a swarm of attack drones and a barrage of advanced rockets, hitting their targets accurately. The third targeted a grouping of Israeli soldiers stationed at Khirbet al-Manara, located between the Manara settlement and the al-Abbad border site, using a barrage of specialized rockets.

Escalating their operations, the Islamic Resistance® carried out two attacks at 04:40 pm. In one operation, fighters launched a barrage of rockets at the Avital site, a technical and electronic reconnaissance center in the occupied Syrian Golan, marking the first assault on this facility. Simultaneously, a military bulldozer operating near the border wall in Kfar Kila was struck by a guided missile, resulting in its destruction and the killing and injuring of its crew.
The Times of Israel adds:
At least six people were wounded on Sunday in a series of attacks from Lebanon on northern Israel, as Lebanese and Syrian media outlets reported at least 29 people dead in two separate strikes attributed to Israel and the incoming defense minister said the military had defeated Hezbollah on the battlefield.

In the latest attack from Lebanon, on which the IDF had yet to comment, three people were reported wounded in an apparent anti-tank missile strike in the northern border town of Metula.

First responders said that one person was moderately hurt and two others were in good condition.

Earlier on Sunday afternoon, three men who were injured in a barrage on northern Israel arrived at the hospital independently, Nahariya’s Galilee Medical Center said. The three, all residents of Sheikh Danun, were wounded by the blast of a rocket impact in the Kibbutz Kabri area as they were working in a field.

Two of them, aged 37 and 20, were in moderate condition, while the third, aged 47, was lightly wounded, according to the hospital.

The Israel Defense Forces said that at least 35 rockets were fired from Lebanon at northern Israel by early evening on Sunday. Some were intercepted, while others landed in open areas, according to the military.

Hebrew media reported that a dining hall in the northern town of Tel Hai sustained serious damage in an earlier barrage. There was no report from the military of an impact in the area, though sirens sounded in the border community on Sunday morning.

The Israeli Air Force also shot down a drone launched at Israel “from the east,” which is generally taken to mean Iraq, on Sunday morning, the IDF said, adding that parts of the drone landed in an open area in the Golan Heights after the interception.

Lawfare Operatives at DOJ are Panicked About What President Donald Trump Will Do Inside Main Justice
[Last Refuge] When the FBI and DOJ lawfare operatives want to frame their agenda and undermine their targets, they have historically leaked to the New York Times and Politico. Both outlets serve as the promoters for false or misleading information that benefits the bad actors inside the DOJ and FBI.

As a consequence, when the DOJ or FBI start freaking out, they run to the same New York Times and Politico.

Politico is reporting today about how the lawfare operatives inside Main Justice are panicking about what incoming President Trump will do.

A collective sense of dread has taken hold at the Department of Justice, which drew Donald Trump’s rage like no other part of the federal government during his campaign.

Some career attorneys at DOJ are already considering heading for the exits rather than sticking around to find out whether threats from Trump and his allies are real or campaign bluster. Those threats range from mass firings of "deep state" lawyers to expelling special counsel Jack Smith from the country.

"Everyone I’ve talked to, mostly lawyers, are losing their minds," said one DOJ attorney, who like most of the people interviewed for this article was granted anonymity to speak freely about colleagues and avoid retribution from the president-elect and his allies. "The fear is that career leadership and career employees everywhere are either going to leave or they’re going to be driven out."

While alarm over Trump’s return is widespread throughout the federal bureaucracy, it is perhaps most acute at the Justice Department, which was at the center of many of the major controversies of his first term.

Most of the department’s 115,000 employees were around for those controversies. Critics believed the Trump White House meddled in some of the department’s high-profile prosecutions. Both of Trump’s attorneys general, Jeff Sessions and William Barr, eventually lost the president’s confidence. And his first term ended with a stunning showdown between Trump and nearly all of his DOJ appointees as they resisted his attempts to cling to power.

But department veterans say those events pale in comparison to what they expect when Trump gets a second chance to try to remake the DOJ in his vision. They also know Trump’s anger at the department has only deepened in the past four years as it launched two unprecedented criminal prosecutions against him.

said on Sunday that 51 Paleostinian citizens were killed and 164 others injured in three Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.

The ministry added in its daily statistical report on the casualties of the Israeli war of genocide on Gaza that the number of victims has thus risen to 43,603 deaders and 102,929 injured.

The ministry noted that the number does not include the number of deaders and maimed in the massacre of Abu Nasr family in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza at dawn Sunday in which 93 were either killed or still missing.

It said that an unspecified number of deaders are still under the rubble of destroyed buildings or lying on roads but could not be retrieved due to the IOF shooting attacks.

Strip, the IDF and Shin Bet announced Sunday.

According to a joint statement, Muhammad Abu Saheel, the terror group’s operations chief, was killed in a strike Saturday carried out by fighter jets on a command room embedded within a former school in northern Gaza.

Abu Saheel was a "central operative" in Islamic Jihad, and was involved in "compiling situation assessments and coordinating terrorist operations" with Hamas
..a regional Iranian catspaw,...
, the statement said.

Before the strike on the Fahd al-Sabah School, the IDF said it carried out "many steps" to mitigate civilian harm, including by using aerial surveillance and other intelligence.

Also Sunday, two IDF officers were seriously maimed in separate incidents of fighting in the northern Gaza Strip, the military said. The officers served with the 401st Armored Brigade’s 52nd and 9th battalions. Both were maimed by anti-tank fire, according to initial IDF probes of the incidents.

group said.

The Paleostinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) in Gaza said at least 24 people were killed when an Israeli strike destroyed the three-story building in Jabalia at dawn. Thirty other people from nearby houses were maimed, PCHR said in a statement.

Footage circulating on social media, which Rooters could not immediately verify, showed about a dozen bodies wrapped in blankets and laid on the ground outside a hospital near Jabalia. Local media said they were the bodies of people killed in the attack on the residential building, which housed at least 30 people, according to residents.

The military said it struck a site in Jabalia in which "gunnies were operating."

"These gunnies posed a threat to IDF troops operating in the area. The details are under review," the military said.

Several hundred people are estimated to remain in Jabalia, and a few thousand more in other towns in the area. Israel launched renewed operations in the area a month ago after Hamas forces regrouped there. The army said it has been working to evacuate the civilian population from towns north of Gaza City in order to operate against the terror group there without harming innocents.

In Gaza City, an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Sabra neighborhood on Sunday killed Wael al-Khour, an official at Gaza’s Hamas-run welfare ministry, as well as his wife, one son, two daughters and three grandchildren, medical officials and relatives said. The military said it was looking into the report.

The Paleostinian Red Islamic Thingy Society said its teams, in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Thingy, evacuated 20 patients from al-Awda Hospital in Jabalia on Sunday to another facility in Gaza City.

The IDF has accused Hamas of embedding itself in civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, and mosques. The army said its strikes are based on intelligence of terrorist activity and that multiple steps are taken to minimize civilian casualties.

As experts from a panel that monitors food security say famine is imminent or may already be happening, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin reportedly conveyed a "sharp" message to his new Israeli counterpart, Israel Katz, during their first phone conversation on Friday, saying Israel risks jeopardizing the ongoing provision of US weaponry for the Gaza war if it does not credibly show that it has improved the supply and distribution of aid to Gazook noncombatants.

warned Israel in a letter that it had 30 days — a deadline that ends Wednesday — to implement significant improvements to the humanitarian situation in Gaza or jeopardize the continued supply of US weapons.

Israel rejected the experts’ warning of famine, with the military saying Saturday that "researchers continue to rely on partial, biased data and superficial sources with vested interests."

The military said it had increased aid efforts including opening an additional crossing on Friday. In the last two months, 39,000 trucks carrying more than 840,000 tons of food have entered Gaza, it said, and meetings were taking place daily with the UN, which had 700 trucks of aid awaiting pickup and distribution.

Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry says more than 42,000 people in the Strip have been killed or are presumed dead in the fighting so far.
Look at that interesting new phrasing, dear Reader. I wonder what brought that on?
The toll cannot be verified and does not differentiate between civilians and fighters. Israel says it has killed some 18,000 combatants in battle as of November and another 1,000 gunnies inside Israel on October 7.
Like Obama's "jobs created or saved"
The United Nations

said Friday that nearly 70 percent of the fatalities it had verified in the war were women and kiddies, condemning what it alleged was a systematic violation of the fundamental principles of international humanitarian law.

The tally by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights includes only fatalities it has managed to verify with three sources, and counting continues. At 8,119, the tally is at this stage much lower than the figure cited by Gaza’s health ministry.

Israel’s diplomatic mission to the UN in Geneva said it categorically rejected the report.

"Once again, OHCHR fails to accurately reflect the realities on the ground, and disregards the extensive role of Hamas and other terrorist organizations in deliberately causing civilian harm in Gaza," it said.

Israel’s toll in the ground offensive against Hamas in Gaza and in military operations along the border with the Strip stands at 370.

on Sunday.

The strikes caused extensive damage to buildings, infrastructure, and public facilities, leaving entire neighborhoods in ruins, according to local and media reports.

The deadliest attacks occurred in the town of Almat, located in the Mount Lebanon Governorate, where at least 20 people were killed in a horrific Israeli attack targeting a residential complex.

Another 17 fatalities were reported in the southern town of Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain, while three others were killed in the coastal town of Addloun as a result of the indiscriminate Israeli attacks.

Simultaneously, the Israeli occupation warplanes and artillery shelled several towns across southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley, including the cities of Baalbek, Tyre, and Nabatieh, as well as numerous villages such as Adloun, Sohmor, Mashghara, Labaya, Khyam, Zawtar al-Gharbiyeh, and several others in both the south and the Beqaa region.

The bombardment also targeted the villages of Qalila, Ain Baa'l, Sreine, Boudai, Saida, al-Wazzani, Marjayoun, Dhayra, Kafr Tebnit, Tayr Harfa, and others in the southern and eastern parts of the country.

Yesterday, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced that the documented number of fatalities since the beginning of the Israeli assault on Lebanon in October 2023 had risen to 3,136, with 13,979 others reported maimed
The Times of Israel adds:
Sunday, the IDF said the commander of Hezbollah’s artillery forces in southern Lebanon’s Blida was killed in a recent airstrike after he was spotted by troops of the 869th Combat Intelligence Collection Unit as he was launching an anti-tank missile at Israel.

A short while later, the IDF said it carried out an airstrike against one of Hezbollah’s main command centers in Blida, killing the commander.

The 869th has directed numerous strikes on Hezbollah operatives and infrastructure during operations in southern Lebanon with the 91st Division in recent weeks.

Government Corruption
Here's Why These Geopolitical And Financial Chokepoints Need Your Attention...
by Tyler Durden

Authored by Chris MacIntosh via InternationalMan.com

[ZeroHedge]
The Houthis in Yemen tried to assassinate Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Then Hezbollah droned his house. Apparently, he was not at home at the time.

Iran launched an unprecedented missile attack on Israel. The part you probably didn’t hear about is that Iran says a “state of war” now exists between them and Israel.
There’s been a shadow war for many years, though Iran has mostly spends their time on mass attacks on Jewish civilians around the world — like the 1994 VBIED attack on the AMIA Jewish community center in Buenos Aires that killed 85 and maimed over 300 — internet attacks on Israeli businesses and infrastructure, and ginning up coordinated wars with Hamas and Hezbollah, while Israel has gone after Iran’s nuclear bomb program, including assassinating nuclear scientists in Iran, and no doubt other spy stuff. And of course, beating the Palestinians and Hezbollah like a drum whenever they act up.
France ended all arms exports to Israel, and the Israel’s pissed and subsequently bombed a French factory in Syria
They did? We missed that…
— an F you and no thanks for all the previous arms shipments and military aid.
Israel paid money for those arms, so the books were balanced in the usual way.
Russia sent 33 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Lebanon.

Israel bombed Syria’s capital, Damascus.

Erdogan compared Israel with the Nazis.

I’ve probably missed a whole lot of things, but you get the picture. None of the above is good in any shape or form.

This last point I pay a lot of attention to, and here’s why.
His sublime radiance, Sultan Recep Tayip Erdogan I “the much beloved” — who hopes to be the first of the neo-Ottoman sultans — has been calling Israel names for over a decade, so the fact of name calling is not indicative of anything. The points the writer makes below are important independent of schoolyard taunts.
Turkey has the second largest military in NATO, and it’s clearly going to leave or be kicked out.

Turkey also controls the Bosphorus, and Iran controls the strait of Hormuz.

The Houthis effectively now (to some extent at least) control the Suez.

That, my friends, is the holy trinity of supply disruption in oil shipments.

What else?

Well, an interesting little dilemma is opening up for NATO. What happens if Israel decides to have a go at Turkey — either inside Turkish territory or outside? That would, according to the NATO treaty, constitute an attack on a NATO partner and immediately mean that all NATO members were now at war with… Israel.
That would certainly clarify all the posturing about Never Again on Holocaust Day. Interestingly, multibillionaire investor Bill Ackman — the one who led the defunding of Harvard after the university president refused to say whether Hamas protester attacks on Jewish students were against university policy — just announced he will be working to move from Amsterdam the hedge fund and Dutch music production company on whose boards he sits, in response to the “Jew hunt” pogrom last week. There is a bit of a tradition for this kind of thing: when Spain expelled the Jews in 1492, many of the refugees were welcomed by Amsterdam, where in gratitude they supported Dutch independence from Spain and the Anglo-Spanish war that followed.

Forecaster Tishkovets: Winter in Central Russia is expected to be mild and snowy
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] A mild and snowy winter is expected in Central Russia, said Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, on November 10

"There is no winter on the horizon. Not only will November remain warm, but also, according to preliminary forecasts, the coming December and the entire winter as a whole are expected to be relatively mild and snowy," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

At the same time, the weather forecaster clarified that the coldest season of the year will only arrive in December.

Earlier, Yevgeny Tishkovets reported that this year, the climatic winter in Moscow should begin 20 days later than scheduled, that is, at the beginning of December.

According to the weather forecaster, the climatic winter in the Russian capital should begin on November 13, but this year it will happen much later, which “fits in with the trend of global climate change.”

China-Japan-Koreas
Sanctions That Raised a Dragon: How China Is Taking Over Global Markets
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Ivan Lizan

[REGNUM] We learn about many Western monopolies that have formed and become so commonplace that they are no longer noticeable only when they collapse. We will certainly learn more in the near future, thanks to Chinese companies that are quietly but systematically capturing world markets.

But it is worth starting with the already formed Chinese monopoly. We are talking about the extraction of rare (RM) and rare earth metals (REM). RM includes 17 minerals, the rare group includes another 60 elements, including lithium and cobalt.

The peculiarity of rare earth metals is not so much their small reserves, but their low concentration in the earth's crust, uneven occurrence across countries, and their tendency to form strong compounds with other metals and minerals. As a result, to extract rare earth metals, it is necessary to shovel thousands of tons of rock, spending a lot of energy and chemicals to extract them as pure metals and other compounds. Therefore, the extraction of rare earth metals turns into big problems for the environment, and the club of producing countries has never been large.

In 1986, the United States was the leading producer of rare earths, more than twice as much as the USSR, and China was in third place. With the collapse of the USSR, the Soviet rare earth industry also disappeared. At the same time, China, with the support of the government, began to actively increase the volume of REE production: it was becoming increasingly difficult for American miners to compete with cheap Chinese rare earths, and increased pressure from environmentalists finally finished off the Mountain Pass mine.

Thus, by the mid-2000s, the global rare earth market was under the control of China, accounting for over half of production.

Until 2023, China's monopoly in the REE sphere was a burden for governments of other countries only when they tried to get rid of it - export control allowed the Chinese government not only to control the price of REEs, but also, if necessary, to bankrupt Chinese competitors by dumping on the market. However, in 2023, China began to impose export restrictions.

First, the American military-industrial complex giant, Lockheed Martin, and its subsidiary Raytheon, responsible for missile production, fell under sanctions. Then Beijing introduced licensing for the export of germanium and gallium under the pretext of protecting national security. And this became a huge problem for the American military-industrial complex: it is cut off from part of the REE, and its total consumption of these minerals does not allow for profitable extraction of the necessary minerals in the United States under market conditions.

At the same time, other companies continue to receive supplies from China and do not need expensive rare earth metals from Mountain Pass.

STEEL
Already in 2024, it was not only gallium and germanium from China that became a problem. Chinese steel became a headache for many countries. China smelts 1 billion tons a year, more than the rest of the world combined. For comparison: Russia smelts 75-77 million tons a year, Ukraine before the start of the SVO - 20-22 million.

For decades, steel remained in China, where it was consumed by construction sites. The Chinese government was aware of the dependence of its own metallurgy on the construction industry, as well as the negative impact of metallurgy on the already problematic ecology, so it periodically introduced bans on the construction of new metallurgical plants. Naturally, the plants tried to export surplus metal.

From 2025 onwards, China's steel demand is expected to decline by 1% per year, equivalent to 10 million tonnes. The "excess" metal has already found its way onto the world market: in the first six months of 2024, China's steel exports grew by 24%, reaching 53.4 million tonnes. The country now exports around 100 million tonnes of steel per year.

Russia is not affected by the influx of Chinese steel: its import in 2024 is at the level of last year. In addition, Russian metallurgists have a general agreement to refuse to supply metal to suppliers of cheap imports. But for the European Union, this is a problem: in August, the European Commission began anti-dumping investigations into the import of hot-rolled sheet metal from Egypt, India, Japan and Vietnam, through which Chinese metallurgical plants can bypass European restrictions.

If in 2023 there were three anti-dumping investigations against metal from China worldwide, then by the beginning of July 2024 their number increased to ten. At the same time, the already mentioned Ukraine is not able to compete on the European market with Russian steel, and even less with Chinese steel.

RENEWABLE ENERGY
China has achieved no less resounding successes in mechanical engineering. IA Regnum has already written about the reasons for the popularity of Chinese cars. But China also has something to brag about in power engineering, and in its most fashionable part - "green" energy.

In August 2024, Norwegian consultancy Rystad Energy reported that China's installed solar and wind power capacity exceeded that of coal-fired power plants for the first time. From 2020 to 2023, China commissioned 100 GW of renewable energy, and in 2023, 293 GW of new "green" capacity was commissioned.

The presence of its own RM and REE, together with the focus on the development of renewable energy, has allowed Beijing to make a giant technological breakthrough in solar and wind energy. The already low cost of producing photovoltaic cells in China has decreased by 42% this year. Now the specific cost of solar modules in China is 15 cents per 1 watt, which is significantly lower than the production figures for India (22 cents), Europe (30 cents) and the USA (40 cents).

Therefore, it is not surprising that China controls 80% of the world market. And it is not a matter of dumping or subsidies - it is the effect of scale and a powerful raw material base.

A similar story is with wind turbines. By the end of 2023, China took first place in the world in registering patents in wind energy. As in the case of solar power plants, the effect of scale, domestic reserves of rare earth metals and cheap steel are at play.

In 2023, of the 116 GW of new wind power capacity globally, projects in China accounted for 65%, with most of the generators being manufactured locally. China now also accounts for 40% of the world’s total installed wind capacity, making it the world’s largest market, surpassing the US and Europe. As a result, Chinese wind farms are three times cheaper per MW than those in the US and EU, so they are barred by prohibitive tariffs.

COMPUTER HARDWARE AND TECHNOLOGY
In the field of high technology, China's leadership has long been undisputed, and it is no longer fought so much by high R&D spending as by sanctions.

A striking example of their inefficiency is the Huawei corporation, against which the United States first introduced restrictions back in 2019. Following six years of being under American sanctions, Huawei managed, firstly, to triumphantly return to the Chinese smartphone market, causing a drop in Apple sales; secondly, to bring its Ascend 910B AI chips to the market, forcing the American Nvidia to sell its products on the Chinese market at a discount of 10-15%; thirdly, to take and hold first place in the Chinese cloud computing market for seven years in a row; fourthly, to ensure global leadership in the wearable electronics market.

All this allowed the corporation to earn record profits — with a growth of 34.3% — in the first half of 2024 in the amount of $7.7 billion. In addition, Huawei released the world's first smartphone that folds in three in September.

But Huawei's breakthroughs are not the end of Western problems: Chinese companies have put down roots in the production of semiconductors and other components for electronics. The creation of YMTC in 2016 resulted in a collapse in prices for SSD drives by 2022 - China not only learned to produce next-generation memory, but also began to produce it in gigantic volumes, changing the alignment of the global market. At the same time, the company's inclusion on the US sanctions list could not stop YMTC: last year, it mastered the mass production of 232-layer memory chips with a record storage capacity.

The situation on the global display market is no better for Chinese competitors. For many years, South Korea dominated the LCD and OLED display market — OLED screens were a competitive advantage for smartphones from Samsung. But then the star of China's BOE Technology Group began to rise. First, it captured the LCD panel market, bringing its market share to 26.5% by the end of 2023, and now it is storming the global OLED market. The Chinese company currently controls 12% of the global market, but BOE is building new factories and actively investing in development. Meanwhile, the United States is discussing the need to include it in the sanctions list — under the pretext, of course, of protecting national security.

VIDEO GAMES
Chinese companies have also reached an area where the West's position previously seemed unshakable. In the summer of 2024, the Chinese studio Game Science released the computer action game Black Myth: Wukong, which immediately set several records in the global video game industry. Sales of the game on the Steam platform exceeded 21 million copies, bringing Game Science $1 billion with development costs of about $70 million. The game also broke the record for the number of simultaneous players - 2.1 million people played it.

Black Myth: WuKong had every chance to become the game of the year in the prestigious Golden Joystick Awards 2024 rating, but it did not work out for various reasons, including those far from fair voting.

Apparently, Chinese successes are very stressful for American studios. In particular, the publisher of the legendary Call of Duty series of games, Activision-Blizzard, for which Microsoft recently paid 70 billion dollars. After all, if sanctions can still be imposed on Game Science, then standing behind every gamer and making sure that they do not launch Chinese games will definitely not work.

And in general, sanctions are sanctions, but, as practice shows, it has not yet been possible to stop China.

CNN pundit floats Harris as possible replacement for SCOTUS Justice Sotomayor
A brilliant idea. Put in place a young (she’s only 60), far-left justice who is woefully incompetent by any metric — as well as unceasingly annoying — to replace a slightly less far left, slightly less incompetent elderly justice, and thus not only maintain the current conservative-to-Progressive ratio but keep future Democratic presidents from adding someone to the bench actually able to persuasively argue Progressive positions.

commentator and former state politician in South Carolina, was adamant on social media that progressives need to ramp up pressure on Sotomayor, a 70-year-old type 1 diabetic, to step aside even as she resists the effort.

"Sotomayor needs to resign. The court is currently 6-3. [Her resignation] would limit Trumps ability to make it 7-2. It’s silly to believe there is no difference," Sellers wrote on X.

Minnesota dad who ranted against Trump election gunned down wife, ex-girlfriend and his 2 kids in murder-suicide
[NYPOST] A Minnesota dad who ranted against President-elect Donald Trump
...The man who was so stupid he beat fourteen professional politicians, a former tech CEO, and a brain surgeon for the Republican nomination in 2016, then beat The Smartest Woman in the World in the general election...
online shot and killed his wife, ex-partner, and his two sons before turning the gun on himself, according to authorities.

The shooter, 46-year-old Anthony Nephew, had a "pattern of mental health issues," Duluth Police Chief Mike Ceynowa said on Friday — one day after authorities found five people dead inside two homes in the city.

Authorities found Anthony Nephew’s ex-partner Erin Abramson, 47, and their son, Jacob Nephew, 15, dead from apparent gunshot wounds inside their home Thursday afternoon, police said.

After identifying Anthony Nephew as a suspect, police found his 45-year-old wife Kathryn Nephew, and their 7-year-old son Oliver Nephew dead from gunshot wounds inside their family home close by.

Anthony Nephew was also found dead inside the home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.

Mexico's migrant caravan breaking up after Trump victory sows uncertainty
So much winning, and he isn’t even close to being sworn in yet. How much longer before the illegals on this side of the borderstart heading home, too?
[Rooters] A caravan of thousands of migrants colonists traveling through Mexico with the hope of reaching the U.S. had shrunk to about half its original size on Thursday as many migrants colonists grapple with their prospects following former U.S. President Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
's victory in Tuesday's election.

Trump clinched the presidential election after a campaign that promised large-scale deportations of undocumented migrants colonists and a return to fast-tracked deportations to Mexico.

An official from Mexico's National Migration Institute told Rooters the caravan had dwindled to less than 1,600 people, down from 3,000 when it set out from the southern city of Tapachula on Tuesday.

Just over 100 people asked for help from authorities to return to Tapachula, the official said. It was unclear where the rest of the migrants colonists who left the caravan were headed.

After hearing that Trump had won, many of those in the caravan felt less hopeful about their chance at a new life in the United States.

"I had hoped (Kamala Harris
former senatrix from California, 2020 Dem presidential hopeful and ultimately Joe Biden's intended successor
) would win, but that didn't happen," said Valerie Andrade, a Venezuela

...a country in Central America that sits on an enormous pool of oil. Formerly the most prospereous country in the region, it became infested with Commies sniffing almost unlimited wealth. It turned out the wealth wasn't unlimited, the economy collapsed under the clownish Hugo Chavez, the murder rate exceeded places like Honduras and El Salvador. A significant proportion of the populace refugeed to Colombia and points south...

n migrant traveling from Chiapas to Oaxaca in southern Mexico.
Andrade, along with her husband, and like over 7 million other Venezuelans, left her crisis-ridden country seeking better prospects.

Trump's proposed immigration policies also include ending birthright citizenship for children of undocumented immigrants colonists.

During his previous administration, between 2017 and 2021 Trump put in place policies that left hundreds of thousands of migrants colonists stranded in camps along the Mexican border, reshaping U.S. immigration politics.

A spokesperson for Chiapas state security told Rooters that while the migrant caravan continues north, some families are choosing to turn back to Tapachula, near the Guatemalan border.

But for many the journey northward persists.

Venezuelan migrant Jeilimar, who requested that her last name be withheld for her safety, remains hopeful her appointment to seek asylum via the U.S. Customs and Border Protection app, CBP One, will come through before Trump assumes office in January.

"With God's favor, I'll get that appointment," she said, as she traveled with her 6-year-old daughter, intent on reaching the U.S.

Human rights activists say migrants colonists will continue to arrive to the U.S. southern border.

"People will seek new paths; it'll be more dangerous, but it won't stop them," said Heyman Vázquez, a Catholic priest and pro-migrant activist in Chiapas.

Fifth Column
Far-Left Socialists Plot MASSIVE Protest for Donald Trump’s Inauguration
A little project for the Justice Department and their oh-so-active informants in coming weeks. In between sending out job applications, I mean.
[Karlyn] The Protests Are Coming...

Well, you knew it was inevitable. A coalition of far-left socialist and communist groups has announced plans for a massive protest during Donald Trump
...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US...
’s inauguration.
The image of the announcement poster can be seen at the link. January 20th at 11 a.m. in Washington DC. Organizers include The People’s Forum, Palestinian Youth Movement, ANSWER Coalition, Jill Stein, Bangladeshi Americans for Political Progress, Code Pink, Los Angeles Tenents Union [sic] — some are odd, others appear regularly in the Rantburg archives.
This coalition is spearheaded by the Party of Socialism and Liberation, which has been highly active in protests throughout the year, including organizing pro-Paleostine demonstrations on campuses nationwide and multiple events in Washington, DC.

Expect this coalition to grow as the event approaches—and that’s not counting Antifa
...the armed wing of the Democratic Party...
, which will almost certainly show up as the krazed killer arm of the far left. While members of these groups may not all be Antifa (though there is some overlap), they openly identify as Socialists, Communists, and Marxists who despise the Democratic Party.
Don't we all.
They view Trump’s second term as a prime opportunity to radicalize disillusioned Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
, liberals, and progressives, bringing them into the far-left fold.

How are they funding that?

They’re raising $50,000 via small donation. They raised $2,000 in the first two hours of their efforts. When I signed up for their email list to get updates on their efforts, I was met with a fundraising ask and current results:
I’d not be shocked to learn that the organizers will have also gotten a much larger donation from the usual Progressive NGO donor organizations and individuals, enough to cover signs, travel costs, and salaries for the cadres.

I worked on Kamala Harris's campaign - and this is why it turned out to be an utter shambles
A taste:
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] When I volunteered for Kamala Harris
who got her start in politix between former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's' knees
a few weeks ago in a swing district in the New York commuter belt, I was assured by Democratic Party organizers that their ground game would cream Donald Trump
...So far he's been unkillable, and they've tried....
Though the polls were showing the two contenders running neck and neck, the confidence was understandable.

This, after all, was the party machine that generated more than 81 million votes for Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Too old and senile to be prosecuted, not too old and senile to set national policy...
the last time round.

And it was better funded than ever. Nearly a billion dollars had poured into the party's coffers since the start of 2023, well over twice what Trump had raised in the same period.

The campaign in New York's 17th district focused not on Kamala but Mondaire Jones, a gay, black former congressman who was challenging a pro-Trump incumbent, Mike Lawler, for a seat in the House of Representatives.

Jones had all the charisma Harris lacked and, if he defeated Lawler, there was a fighting chance Kamala would pick up additional votes on his coat tails.

At 37, Jones was a made-for-Instagram candidate. And, with registered Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
outnumbering Republicans by some 80,000 in the district, I thought we were in with a good shout.

Yet what I found soon changed my mind: a self-regarding shambles of a campaign staffed by temporary workers with little experience, less know-how and, apparently, zero interest in talking to Main Street America.

My turf included the affluent Westchester County horse country - home to the sprawling estates of high-profile Dems like Richard Gere and David Letterman - as well as hard-knock Hudson River towns like Ossining, where employment is provided by the Sing Sing supermax.

I’d been assigned to a campaign office in the attractive commuter village of Mount Kisco, one of three the Democrats had opened in the district. But it was a disappointing start.

There were just a few scruffy posters on the rather grubby door. Outside, Harris’s trademark 'not going back' signs were nowhere to be seen.

One smartly dressed woman strolling by told me she thought our headquarters was an abandoned shop.

Then I met my new bosses. It’s fair to say they were young — and that some of them knew little about the area we were canvassing.

Though the door knocking was performed by unpaid enthusiasts like me, our labors were overseen by temps the party hired at rates advertised from $15 an hour on a recruitment site.

I counted nine or ten of them lounging around the office.

The next surprise was to find that I would be using a supposedly state-of-the-art phone app called, incongruously, miniVan.

It would pull up addresses as I went from house-to-house, I was told. And it would synch the outcome of each approach in split seconds with the Democratic campaign's computers.

Advantage Mondaire and Kamala!

Yet the only names on the list were registered Democrat and — in what had been described as the tightest race in recent history (until the results came through, of course), we were to talk to no one else.

'The app lists the registered Democrats in the district. We're only approaching Democrats,' a temp explained.

Incredulous, I called Mitch Saunders, the party's Northern Westchester County organizer, for some guidance.

'The idea is to get Democrats to turn out,’ he confirmed. ’It's all about turn out.’

How about people like the neighbors near my home in Westchester who strung a gaudy Trump banner in the trees?

’No,’ said Mitch.

What about the throngs of well-to-do female shoppers outside the campaign base — the very demographic that the Democrats were supposedly shooting for?

'No.'

I said I'd like a Kamala-Mondaire yard sign for my verge at home. The Mount Kisco office had run out of them. 'You don't need them,' yawned an unshaven youth. 'Just use the app.'

But the app failed to synch when I hit the streets on November 5.

A few doors were answered by puzzled Democrats who’d already cast their ballots and were fed up with being 'harassed' — as they put it — by the non-stop texts and calls pestering them for money.

While the Republicans were stressing authenticity, we were confined to a verbatim script.

’Hi! I'm a volunteer with the NY Dems. I just want to confirm that we can count on you to vote for Mondaire Jones...’

The script was constantly rejigged. By Election Day its most notable feature was that had nothing to say about Mondaire Jones other than his name.

The first is the consolidation of Russian forces in the village of Sontsovka, northwest of Kurakhovo. From there it is less than four kilometers to the village of Starye Terny, the liberation of which would mean the de facto blockade of the city from the western side.

The second trend is the attempts of Russian troops to "cut off" the Ukrainian salient southeast of Kurakhovo. The offensive there began the other day and at the moment our fighters have occupied almost half of the territory of the "pocket". Threatening at the same time the rear of the Ukrainian defense along the Sukhi Yaly River.

19:43 Advance by the Russian army. Fighting in the area of the villages of Ilyinka and Berestki.

To the north of the city, Russian troops are fighting on the outskirts of Sontsovka, the liberation of which will open the road to Stari Terny, and with them - access to the western edge of the Karlovskoye Reservoir.

To the south of the settlement, the Russian Armed Forces are also having tactical successes, developing the offensive and clearing the formed "pockets".

Also, according to unverified information, fighting has begun on the eastern outskirts of Kurakhovo, where the Russian Armed Forces have long approached the city limits.

Most likely, Russian troops are provoking the Armed Forces of Ukraine to transfer additional reserves, of which the Ukrainians do not have many here, to this area, in order to facilitate the advance of our troops on the flanks.

To tank units arrived a clergyman of the army corps of the North group of forces. The priest held a prayer service dedicated to the military labor of the soldiers and blessed the servicemen before carrying out combat missions in the border area of the Kursk region.

As tankers note, the activities of clergymen allow them to express their thoughts and feelings and to participate in religious rituals.

08:42 "We are working for the result»:

The task of the forward air controller is to call in aircraft to the line of combat contact to strike the enemy's most important targets and ensure the safe passage of aircraft.

"This is the most important task now, carried out in combat conditions. It is important to me that the crew can accurately and quickly carry out the combat mission, defeat the enemy force and push them back. We strive and work for the result. Victory will be ours," says the air controller.

Kursk direction: intensification of hostilities in the Sudzhansky district, the situation by the end of November 9, 2024– In the Kursk direction, after a lull, Russian troops again went on the offensive in the Sudzhansky region, gradually expanding the zone of control, trying to “cut off the ledge” near the Malaya Loknya River.

– Meanwhile, in the Korenevsky district, as before, local clashes continue in the area of Zeleny Shlyakh and Novoivanovka. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, several attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repelled here.

– The first evidence confirming the fact of the Russian troops’ advance has begun to arrive from the Sudzhansky District. Footage of an armored group attacking, moving along Orlovka south of Pogrebki, has been published online. The events probably took place at the same time as reports of the Russian Armed Forces entering Staraya Sorochina began to arrive. At the moment, an advance of at least several kilometers in the southern direction has been recorded.

- In fact, at the moment the plan is being implemented to encircle the enemy to the west of the Malaya Loknya River in the forest belts near Kruglenky. If we manage to consolidate in Viktorovka, then the defending group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will end up in a "cauldron".

– In the Dmitryukov area, there are instances of the enemy using mock-ups of armored vehicles, such as infantry fighting vehicles. One of them was hit by a fiber-optic-controlled drone, which allowed the “fake” to be identified due to the quality of the camera. On the opposite flank, UAV operators hit the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Darino.

In Mexico, archaeologists have discovered an ancient Indian portal to the world of the dead
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] In Mexico, scientists from the local National Institute of Anthropology and History have discovered an underground portal to the afterlife that was used by ancient Mesoamerican civilizations. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

The publication states that during the study of the Catholic Church of San Pablo Apóstol in the city of Ancient Mitla in southern Mexico, vast voids up to 30 m deep were discovered under the temple building.

The article specifies that these territories were inhabited by the Zapotec Indians with a developed culture, and the city of Mitla flourished, being one of the largest political and religious centers of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica.

"From the 10th to the 15th century, Mitla flourished. There were many temples, pagan temples, and priests' houses. The Spaniards who arrived here in 1520 dubbed the city the "Indian Vatican," the publication notes.

According to the publication, the Zapotec Indians adhered to polytheism (polytheism), offering their prayers to the deities of the Sun, Moon, thunder, corn, fishing and many others. It is noted that the Zapotecs also performed human sacrifices, and at some temples even the remains of children were found.

According to the information in the material, it was in the voids under the above-mentioned church, founded by Spanish conquistadors in the future, that sacrifices took place, including human ones. The name of the city translates as "place of the dead", and it served as a portal to the afterlife.

The article states that scientists are currently developing a plan to study all the voids, which is not yet possible without organizing full-scale excavations, since the city leadership is against it.

"For more precise conclusions, excavations are necessary. But the Mitla administration is categorically against it. After all, it could damage the historical architectural ensemble," archaeologist Marco Vigato told journalists.

The publication specifies that the study of the cavities of Ancient Mitla will reveal to scientists many secrets related to the history of Mesoamerican civilizations, including not only the Zapotecs themselves, but also the Aztecs and Mayans.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on September 11, archaeologists found children's toys from the 16th to 19th centuries in Moscow. Among the toys found were figurines of a chicken, a man, and a horse, all made of ceramics. Archaeologists also found a fragment of a toy — a man's head in a cap with large round eyes.

In July, the first birch bark letters in the Far East were found in Yakutsk. The head of the republic said that nine letters were found, which were written in ink in a cursive script from the 17th century. So far, we have managed to read the first fragment, which talks about the collection of yasak (a tax on the peoples of Siberia and the Far East).

Berlin Senator Condemns Reported Attack On Jewish Youth Footballers
[MSN-DPA] Berlin Interior Senator Iris Spranger is calling for tough consequences for people who carried out reported attacks on Jewish youth footballers in the German capital.

"Just recently, there were attacks on players from the sports club TuS Makkabi Berlin. These acts show that anti-Semitic violence and discrimination have not disappeared in our city either," Spranger said on Saturday.

Speaking on the anniversary of the Nazi-led pogrom against Jewish people on November 9, 1938, she said that anyone who attacks people must expect the full force of the rule of law.

The president of the national Makkabi Germany club, Alon Meyer, reported that youth players from the TuS Makkabi Berlin team had been attacked and chased after a game against another Berlin team, DJK Schwarz-Weiss Neukölln, in the south of Berlin on Thursday evening.

"We are supporting the local club Makkabi Berlin so that the case can be investigated," Meyer said.

The father of one of the team's players told the Berlin newspaper Tagesspiegel that the players were insulted, spat on, and chased by players and spectators with sticks and knives after the game.

He said the team's opponents had repeatedly shouted "Free Palestine."

A representative from DJK Schwarz-Weiss Neukölln told the Tagesspiegel newspaper that the attacks came mainly from the spectator area.

"If it turns out that one of the players has made anti-Semitic remarks, it is certain that he will no longer be in the club tonight," he said, adding that the club takes a clear stance against anti-Semitism.

Spranger said "such attacks are also attacks on our peaceful coexistence and on the diversity that makes our city so strong. Hate, harrassment and attacks against Jewish and Israeli citizens are absolutely unacceptable."

"We will do everything we can to ensure that Jewish life in Berlin is and remains safe," she said. Police are to attend all of Makkabi Berlin's matches this weekend and are in close contact with the club, dpa learned from security sources.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Israel can't arm itself with 30,000-pound bombs in time against Iran - opinion
[Jpost] Short of leasing an American strategic bomber and providing nationality to the pilots and maintenance crew, no option would be operationally ready within months if not years.
It sounds like Israeli ingenuity needs to be applied to the problem.
Last week, Dr. Eric R. Mandel made a compelling argument for deterring the Iranian regime through the use of the largest bunker busters. While I wholeheartedly agree with him, I disagree with the methods of delivery from a technical standpoint. This is an important debate as Dr. Mandel must lobby for the most effective weapons that can be operational quickly.

Why is the 30,000lb GBU-57 bomb important?

The GBU-57 would, in Dr. Mandel's words, "slow their nuclear program, prevent a retaliatory ballistic missile attack on Israel, and de-escalate the conflict." If Israel can destroy the Iranian nuclear facilities, "Iran may be much more hesitant to respond to the Israeli attack on Iranian soil or move towards weaponization and complete a functioning atomic bomb."

Dr. Mandel's article claimed that F-15I Ra'am could theoretically undergo retrofitting to carry 30,000-pound bombs. While the bomb does fit size-wise, there are several engineering roadblocks. The Ra'am would need structural modifications as its payload is 23,000lb in at least three hardpoints. The fuel capacity would be reduced by two-thirds, as external fuel tanks would have to be omitted. Since the F-15I cannot reach Iran without aerial refueling, the vulnerable tanker would likely have to cross into Iranian airspace.

The recently introduced F-15IA has an increased payload of 29,500lb but is spread out throughout the airframe. Structural modifications and range and aerodynamic issues would be time-consuming. The center of mass would shift, adding a whole set of issues to be solved.

Why can't the Israeli Air Force deliver 30,000-pound bombs?

Israel lacks the methods of delivering a bomb larger than the 5,000lb GBU-28. The Air Force strike capabilities are centered around tactical multirole fighters, such as the F-15 and F-16, with no strategic bombers, such as the supersonic B-1B Lancer or the stealthy B-2 Spirit.

The reasoning behind such a procurement strategy was two-fold: Israel did not need the range of these aircraft (and associated weight and complexity), and purpose-built bombers lack air-to-air capabilities. The benefit of F-15s and F-16s is that after dropping their payload, they are nimble fighters, and they can also be used in air superiority configuration to escort a strike package into enemy territory.

The B-1B, B-2, and B-52 bombers are the only aircraft in the Western inventory with the capability to carry the 30,000lb GBU-57. Additionally, it can strike Iran without aerial refueling. They were designed to penetrate Soviet air defenses and go after hardened and mobile targets, such as road-based ballistic missiles - something Israel might eventually need to do against the Iranian regime.

What are the issues with obtaining US bombers?

The B-52 lacks either the supersonic speed of the B-1B or the low-observability of the B-2. The mothballed units would take a long time to get operational, although they could benefit from Israeli electronic warfare suites.

Training is an issue, as it would take months in the best case scenario to be flown by Israeli crews and potentially years to have the level of proficiency currently displayed by them.

Even if the US authorized such a sale, it would require congressional approval, instantly giving Iran the incentive to test its first nuclear device to alert Israel of the consequences of an attack, and at the same time, they would fit nuclear warheads on all their remaining ICBMs.

Dr. Mandel's proposal of using C-130 Hercules cargo planes is unrealistic. While they have been used in Afghanistan, they are highly vulnerable aircraft. Short-range MANPADs can make short work of slow transports. Iran, like Vietnam or Yugoslavia, when facing US airpower, has aircraft and mobile SAM systems dispersed, making it almost impossible to destroy all of them. Furthermore, new guidance systems would have to be developed, increasing development time.

What are the alternatives?

Short of leasing an American strategic bomber and providing nationality to the pilots and maintenance crew (upwards of 120 hours of maintenance per flight hour), no option would be operationally ready within months if not years.

There is a new bunker buster bomb in the pipeline, which would use rocket boosters akin to WW2's "Disney bomb", and would be smaller for the new B-21 Raider and potentially the F-15IA/EX.

Another option could be to modify an existing Jericho ICBM. According to open sources, the Jericho III has a 2,500lb warhead. However, the missile itself weighs over 60,000lb and has a range of over 4,000 miles, so swapping fuel for warhead weight could be plausible, albeit with enormous engineering challenges. Data on Jericho IV is still classified.

#2  They evidently don't realize that original 'bunker busters' in the Gulf War were produced from surplus artillery barrels. The biggest difficulty was working out the weight and balance so the guidance software would understand how to drop it and hit the target. They did this by mimicing a different bomb. Worked on the first try.
The original non explosive test piece is still in the desert floor in Nevada. Drove itself in, and there's no actual need, so they just left it 113ft down in the caleche.

#3  I think that if you are accurate enough a sequence of carefully timed small bombs would be more effective than one big one. (jackhammer vs sledge hammer...)

#4  Short of kamikaze flights or 'unchaining Samson', Israel could proceed with causing maximum relative damage to slow the 'Breakout Time' of Iran's bomb, until the Trump has time to assume power, and prey to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to delay Iran in lieu thereof!

A powerful M-class flare lasting 31 minutes occurred on the Sun
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Scientists have registered a powerful solar flare, the Institute of Applied Geophysics reported on November 10.

The flash's power was in the M class range, but close to the highest class (X), and its duration was 31 minutes, the institute told TASS.

“On November 10 at 15:06 Moscow time, an M9.5 flare lasting 31 minutes was recorded in the X-ray range in the sunspot group 3889 (S07E26),” the report says.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, on November 6, the Institute of Applied Geophysics reported that scientists had registered the second highest class X flare on the Sun since the beginning of the month. Its duration was 32 minutes.

On October 9, a level X flare also occurred on the Sun. It caused a plasma ejection towards the Earth and a magnetic storm. As scientists noted, the plasma was ejected exactly along the Sun-Earth line, and the geometric dimensions of the ejection exceeded possible calculation errors.

On October 28, a plasma cloud with a speed of about 600 km/s and a temperature of about 700 thousand degrees reached the Earth. Two active spots 3842 and 3848 are located on the side of the Sun visible from the Earth. They caused powerful magnetic storms at the beginning of the month.

Donald Trump wins most popular votes by a Republican, ever
[NYPOST] President-elect Donald Trump has nabbed the highest raw count of the popular vote of any Republican presidential hopeful ever, according to projections of the 2024 election.

As of Sunday morning, Trump clinched 74,650,000 popular votes, eclipsing his prior record of 74,224,000 votes in the 2020 election, per the Associated Press.

At the moment, that puts the incoming president ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris' 70.9 million votes — though there is still a large swath of votes uncounted, including in California which has an estimated 66% of the vote tabulated.

Other states, including Alaska, Arizona, Maryland, Oregon and Utah still have outstanding votes. Roughly 5 million votes are estimated to be left outstanding.

How Badly Harris Lost and Why
By Clarice Feldman

[AmericanThinker] Donald Trump appears to have been the first Republican in 20 years to win the popular vote.

Scouring the internet, the only Democrat figure who seems to be smiling is President Joe Biden. For the others it seems to be a time of mourning. A look at the results, their implications, and the machinations of the federal bureaucracy is in order.

The very best wrapup is by Victor Davis Hanson.

Harris-Walz were not the only losers: There were the media which gave him 95% negative coverage and the pollsters:

The polls -- with the exception once again of AltasIntel, Trafalgar, and Rasmussen -- were off, and way off in the Senate races. The pollsters’ reputation is again in full reverse and now back to their nadir of 2020 and 2016. Many shamelessly warped their data in the last two weeks to gin up Kamala Harris momentum, fundraising, and voter turnout. And to no avail.

There were plenty of indications long ago in key states of a Donald Trump thunderstorm: defections of minorities, anger among both the Jewish and Muslim voters, alienated union members, massive increases in Republican registrations, and non-Election Day balloting. And all were deliberately ignored by the corrupt media and pollsters.

The worst of cable news was MSNBC, which Comcast is trying to unload. I don’t see any takers.

The issues Harris-Walz chose to run on were wildly unpopular, says Hanson:

Open borders, hyperinflation, abortion deification, the transgendered mania, the crime wave, and the “green” obsessions all did their bit to repel voters. The “racist” Trump won more minority support than any Dole, McCain, or Romney figure of the past.

Their lawfare efforts proved unavailing, and this week Jack Smith moved to end those cases against him. New York Judge Juan Merchan is reportedly considering dropping the meritless “hush money” case against Trump.

‘Olaf is a Fool' – Berlin responds to Elon Musk's swipe at Chancellor Scholz amid government collapse
[RMXnews] Elon Musk called German Chancellor Olaf Scholz a "fool," but rather than responding to the accusation head-on, his spokesperson dismissed X as a platform increasingly used by extremists

Scholz is facing a wave of criticism over his handling of the economy and mounting government gridlock. His abrupt firing of Lindner signaled the collapse of a coalition already struggling to manage, with all three parties plummeting in the national polls to the benefit of the center-right CDU/CSU and nationalist Alternative for Germany (AfD).

And yet, while the coalition government seems intent on squabbling among themselves, Musk’s blunt appraisal of Scholz’s leadership echoes the frustration of a growing number of Germans.

Berlin’s inability to stabilize Europe’s largest economy has resulted in soaring energy costs, stagnant growth, and a considerable decline in its competitiveness with the likes of China.

The German automotive sector is in the process of cutting thousands of jobs as it grapples with a global shift toward electric vehicles — a transformation Musk himself has been at the forefront of.

The economic crisis is having a knock-on effect throughout the country, with Remix News reporting this week that bankruptcies have soared to their highest level in 20 years.

A total of 1,530 individuals and corporations filed for bankruptcies in October, 17 percent more than last month, according to research from the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research Halle (IWH).

Similarly, German industrial orders fell 5.8 percent in August compared to July, it was reported last month. The slump is far higher than the 2 percent drop anticipated, with economists now warning of a recession and doubting a quick recovery.

In September, a survey by the Ifo Institute revealed that the German economy is expected to shrink by 0.1 percent in 2024, following a 0.3 percent contraction last year, while business sentiment worsened for the fourth consecutive month and business activity contracted at its fastest rate in seven months.

Despite the political chaos, Scholz appears reluctant to act immediately with reports suggesting he could call a vote of no confidence in the new year paving the way for new elections possibly by March, a time when Donald Trump will already be back in the White House and implementing his ‘America First’ policies many believe will be to the further detriment of the German economy.

Opposition politicians in Germany are demanding decisive action with the AfD’s Bernd Baumann calling for “immediate new elections,” citing the latest results of the Politbarometer which revealed that 84 percent of Germans support this move.

Similarly, Thorsten Frei, parliamentary manager of the CDU/CSU, scolded Scholz’s hesitancy on Wednesday, claiming that “the bankruptcy of the traffic light coalition is the bankruptcy of Olaf Scholz.”

#3  Also, Tesla has totally driven the German car companies insane with fear. They still haven't let Tesla-Berlin go full bore.

Tesla-Berlin was designed to eventually go to 2 million cars/year for the EU market.

The largest current producer for the EU market is Volkswagen (you know Hitler's fav car company). VW and its other firms (see Audi) have over 157,000 workers to assemble and build up to 1.4 million autos for the EU market.

With it's extreme automation Tesla-Berlin will only take about 8,000 to 10,000 workers to make 2 million autos for the same market. Their current cost of production is less than $18,000 per auto. The cheapest cost of production for VW for their EU cars is closer to $30,000. Stick a fork in them. VW might go under if Tesla goes full bore.
